Back To The Whine

My apologies for rousting you from your post-“bin Laden sleeps with the fishes” reverie (or not, depending on your perspective); but the Democrats are apparently not done with “The Donald.”

If you’re carrying what the industry calls “heat” — show up at the annual festival of self-congratulations known as the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and you’ll find yourself the virtual belle of the ball. That is — unless you’re ostensibly Republican and ostensibly running for President. In that case, prepare to get savaged like you were the new guy on the cellblock.

Just ask Donald Trump. Trump was an invited guest, but gate-crashers at exclusive parties in Vegas receive classier—if not better—treatment. Trump sat through a ream of snarky material by the master of ceremonies, “Saturday Night Live” head writer Seth Meyers. Meyers did the usual liberal dance on Trump:

“Donald Trump has said he’s running for president as a Republican—which is surprising because I thought he was running as a joke.”

Meyers later went back to the well for a cheap hair joke.

“(Trump) often appears on Fox, which is funny because a fox often appears on Donald Trump’s head.”

Granted, I abuse the make-fun-of-Trump’s-hair gag as much as anyone, but that one was weaker than the logic at a global warming conference. Trump should have been aware that his presence in a room filled with the unabashedly liberal flacks who pass for the White House Press Corps would put the crosshairs squarely on his… comb-over. But Meyers spent more time on Trump than Nancy Pelosi does on her face.

And Meyers was far from the biggest player in the room to take Trump to the woodshed. President Barack Obama himself put the crosshairs on The Donald:

“Donald Trump is here tonight… no one is prouder to put this birth certificate matter to rest than the Donald… because he can finally get back to focusing on the issues that matter, like, ‘Did we fake the moon landing?’ ‘What really happened on Roswell?’ And ‘Where are Biggie and Tupac?’

Oh, dead gangster-rapper jokes. Even Meyers didn’t stretch that hard. Mr. President, the 1990s called, ACORN has an opening for a “community organizer.”

Here’s something most people missed amidst the mirth and merriment: Donald Trump just became the most important person in American politics. It’s one thing for Meyers to devote special attention to The Donald, but the President went in front of the other most powerful person in politics—Oprah—to acknowledge that Trump accomplished what no one else could for more than two years in forcing Obama to release a birth certificate. If I had just been forced by a reality television star to fight out of my weight class, the last thing I would do is shine a light on how badly he hurt me.

While the supplicant sycophants who pass themselves off as the corporate media gasped, giggled and guffawed at Obama’s Trump-centric stand-up routine, Trump sat tight-lipped, managing a grin despite being the butt of a joke which went on far too long. As the blogosphere lit up with liberal celebrations—and conservative condemnations—of the ersatz roast of Trump, many missed the best line of the weekend:

“I don’t think the American people are having a good time with $5 gas.”

While gas prices rise to record levels, tornadoes turn much of the Deep South into a pile of kindling wood and April provided the highest number of American war casualties in two years, the President of the United States returned from a command performance at the Court of Oprah to… make fun of Donald Trump’s hair. And Trump countered with an EF5 haymaker.

As many of you are well aware, I am seriously NOT on board The Donald Express. But The Donald has pushed around The President with surprising ease. I hope the truly conservative aspirants to the highest office in the land are paying attention.

Perhaps it’s a result of his sheltered political career, protected from the slings and arrows of deserved fortune by the thick-walled monolith of liberal dogma; but Barack Obama is surprisingly thin-skinned; and if his WHCA dinner performance was any indication, he reacts to rhetorical beatings like a preteen girl.

For what it’s worth, the very first joke I heard following the reports of bin Laden’s execution:

“BREAKING NEWS: Donald Trump demands Osama Bin Laden’s death certificate.”

That’s funny. Mr. President, maybe you could start making jokes after you stop being one.

The fact remains that “The Donald” has been, is now, and will continue to be a Republican joke. Just for the record, BHO will win by a slim margin and get a 2nd term! And here’s something for your more intelligent readers:

    • cvw

OK, that’s enough. Too many jokes here already.

    • J.M.R.

JUST SHOWS HOW STUPID SOME AMERICAN VOTERS ARE LETS KEEP THE DICK-TATER IN OFFICE TO SO CAN FINISH DESTROYING OUR GREAT COUNTRY.

      • Polski

Dubya and Cheney already did that.

        • BobfromCt

Let’s see….Bush inherited a recession from Clinton….yes 2 consecutive qtrs of negative GDP growth in 2001 (tech wreck, Enron anyone?), dealt with 9/11, a legit war and he achieved Bubba’s goal of removing Saddam, and throw in Katrina. How many consecutive months of economic growth did we have before the democrat takeover of house and senate? The downhill slide started with Barnet=y Frank (“there’s no crisis at Fannie or Freddie”)and Chris what’s the deal for me Mr. Countrywide? Dodd. You are absolutely clueless. The trend that started in the 2010 midterm elections see wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio, will continue and the libs will be done in 2012 despite Black Panther intimidating white voters, union thuggery, campaign money from unions and foreign entities and general voting fraud. BTW, you’re an idiot.

          • Bob from Calif

Many of these elites are in on this together. You need to learn to separate the wheat from the tares.

        • DaveH

Why do you say that, Polski? Is it because you recognize that the Government is spending out of control? If so, then you surely must be concerned about Obama’s out-of-control spending, which has been running twice per year what Bush spent.
Or is it just another blindered Liberal Bush attack?

      • AndyZ

Just goes to show you what 12 years of public education (Brain Washing) and sometimes 8 more years of indoctrination in a State supported University can do to your sense of logic. Look at all the University students wearing Chee t-shirts the murdering friend of Castro. Most think Republican Billionares are evil but The Soroses and Buffet Democrat Billionares are good if the republicans are so rich how come the Dems always raise a lot more money than the Republicans

      • mark

Excuse me, Obama’s not a dictator, he was elected by a popular vote, around 53% in 2008 vs. 51% for Bush in 2004 and 49% (half a million less popular votes than Gore) in 2000. In a year and a half, Obama will stand for another election. If he loses that election, he will step down from office. If he wins, he will still step down from office after 2016 having completed his second term. Everything Obama passed was voted and approved by our elected Congress as our Constitution requires. He’s an elected democratic leader not a dictator. I don’t agree with many of his policies just as I didn’t agree with many of Bush’s policies but both were elected leaders – not dictators.

        • 45caliber

Hitler was elected too. So were several other dictators of the world. Are you saying that American idiots can’t elect someone to be a dictator also?

          • mark

What I am saying is at best, he can only serve 8 years and only if he is reelected. While it is true that in some countries elected leaders have become dictators that always occurs when their militaries overthrow constitutional governments. The way the German Army backed Hitler’s seizure of power after Hindenburg’s death in 1934. Do you really think that our U.S. military would shoot down hundreds of thousands of U.S. citizen protestors in DC to keep Barak Obama in office if he refused to step down after losing an election? (Not that he would ever, of course do this) Or if Obama somehow refused leave office after his second term? What kind of cuckoo-clock fantasy world are you living in? If Obama is a dictator who does not respect constitutionally-mandated elections, why didn’t he call out the military and refuse to seat the Republican Congress after the 2010 election that his party, the Democrats, lost? He did no such thing because he respected the rule of law and the outcome of popular elections, the hallmarks of an elected democratic leader. Also our military would never go along with such a thing not that Obama would ever order it. So just exactly how does he become a dictator unless you think all 3 million of our military and reserves are traitors to the Constitution who will slaughter their own people, shut down the polls in 2012 if he is losing, keep him in power after his second term runs out, etc. And of course the Republican Congress and the Supreme Court will just meekly go along with all this? You are living in a fantasy world. I live in the world of reality

          • Eddie47d

mark; I think the right is itching to turn the military against the American people to create a blow back in their favor. The more they can label Obama as a dictator,Marxist, commie, etc the more support the right thinks they will garner. The right is playing the ugly card against Obama, unions,NAACP,teachers and right on down the line. Pit American against American for our next Civil War is what they are wishing and hoping for to further their agenda. That is why THEY call Obama the Messiah to turn Christian loving families against him. Obama slips and falls like any President but he certainly is no dictator.

          • 45caliber

            mark:

I HOPE that he can serve only 8 years at best. It would reassure me. However, I would not be surprised to learn that we have a crisis that just desperately needs the seasoned man in office until it is solved – which just might take another twenty or thirty years. And I know that at least one Democrat Congressman has talked of repeal of the Constitutional Amendment to limit terms to 8 years since “Oblama is such a good man he needs to remain in office longer.”

            Mark:

It’s known as marshall law. Little Barry has absolutely no intention of ever leaving the WH as he views himself as royalty and above the world.

If he is down in the polls in the Fall of 2012 there will either be a concocted or “natural” emergency of some sort. (Think bi-Laden retribution) He will then inititiate marshall law and put the military in charge nation-wide.

That will suspend all elections and civil courts / law. There is a procedure for instituting marshall law, but no procedure for lifting marshall law. The rest, as they say, is hisory.

He did nothing after the 2010 election because it did not directly affect his position of power. He, and the democrats, look at the 2010 election as an anomoly and they will regain it all in 2012.

          • DaveH

The Socialists, of which Eddie is one, have launched almost all of the modern historical purges. So, how he can come up with the stretch that Conservatives want to foment trouble is beyond me. All Conservatives want is to get the Liberal Monkeys off their backs and out of their wallets.

          • Eddie47d

Oh no, Dave H. No conservative trouble makers on this site? You only wish! This board is full of crony capitalists ,fear mongers and a few stooges for the extreme right.

          • DaveH

            Eddie,
don’t flatter yourself. We have peaceful exchanges until you or other similar Liberals get on the board and start their personal attacks. But, it’s all right if you don’t recognize what you are. Other people do. Keep posting, you’re good for our cause.

        • Cathy

          Tell him that he isn’t a dictator…

        • http://yahoo richard

you mean soros and the unions could only buy 53% of the voters or is it just that they didn’t want to waste any more money than necessary

          • http://Illinois'17th Old Henry

            richard:

53% of the vote was enough to get the job done. So why spend more than necessary? Next time around may be much more costly in order to get over the top. And that’s assuming we have an election in 2012.

If Soros collapses the dollar in the next 12 months the multitude of ostriches in this country will go “off the cliff”, riot, loot, etc. and that will require marshall law. It all hinges on Little Barry’s poll numbers.

        • Ellen

I think the dictator accusation comes from his propensity to find a way around everything that he doesn’t get passed through Congress. He has his czars, the EPA, etc, doing whatever they can to enact his policies. His latest is his series of meetings regarding illegal immigration and his plan to issue an executive order to give amnesty to all 20 million illegals. He’ll never get amnesty through Congress, so he’ll just do it another way. There is no doubt Trump has the info needed to show Obama for the fraud he is and he’s just waiting until closer to election time since American voters have very short memories. Trump may have sat quietly listening to our tactless president roast him, but he’ll get the last laugh next year.

          • http://hubscher1@earthlink.net bob hubscher

Has Odumbdumb ever taken responsibility for all the things his administration has screwed up. He always seems to blame everyone else. Where does the buck stop?.

          • http://Illinois'17th Old Henry

            Bob:

            “Where does the buck stop”?
Never at the feet of a mentally unbalanced Narcissist. Hence the blame game.

          • mark

George W. Bush had almost as many czars as Obama and every U.S. president since Nixon (who created the agency) has had an EPA working to enforce its regulations. As for Obama issuing an executive order to grant amnesty to 20 million illegal immigrants, this is sheer fantasy being spread daily on conservative blogs. Obama is far too shrewd a politician to do something as stupid and suicidal as that. (It was Reagan who got the last giant immigration amnesty bill passed in 1986) It is like the never-ending rumors everyday for 2 and a half years that Obama is going to take away Americans’ guns. Never happened, never will. Just shameless fear-mongering to stir up the conservative base.
As for Trump having the goods on Obama, we just saw what a joke all that was. All of Trump’s “investigators” in Hawaii found nothing because there was nothing incriminating to find. Of course now they will all start working on why Obama won’t reveal what his high school science project was or if he dissected a frog when he was in college biology class. It will be interesting to see if Trump will even run since he will have to release all his financial records to do so. Who knows how legit all his real estate dealings and tax-reporting has been over the years? We know he filed for bankruptcy three times, a great qualification for running our economy. The real estate industry has a reputation for honesty on about the same level as the used-car industry or dare I say it, lawyers.

        • JohnK

So you’re saying the attack on Libya was voted on and approved by Congress? What a Crock.

          • mark

No, not at all JohnK, and I would agree he should not have intervened. But let’s look at the historical record here. All Obama authorized were airstrikes, no groundforces, and so far zero U.S. casualties. Harry Truman sent over 400,000 troops to Korea without a declaration of war from Congress as required in the Constitution (53,000 U.S dead). Ike landed 20,000 Marines in Lebanon in 1958 without a declaration of war from Congress. LBJ sent over 500,000 troops to fight in Vietnam without a declaration of war from Congress(58,000 U.S dead). LBJ also invaded the Dominican Republic in 1965 with 25,000 troops without a declaration of war from Congress. Nixon invaded Cambodia with tens of thousands of U.S. troops without a declaration of war from Congress (he also secretly bombed the place for a year before invading). Reagan sent 2000 Marines to Lebanon without a declaration of war from Congress (241 of them were killed in the barracks terrorist bombing) Reagan also invaded the island of Grenada with 20,000 troops without a declaration of war from Congress. I can go on and on with this, George H.W. Bush’s invasion of Panama with 27,000 U.S. troops, the Gulf War, Clinton bombing Kosovo, and more recently George W. Bush’s invason of Iraq with 150,000 men without a declaration of war from Congress (nearly 5000 U.S. dead there). Previous to this, he invaded Afghanistan without a declaration of war from Congress. So we have every president since WWII clearly violating the Constitution by sending at least tens of thousands, typically hundreds of thousands of ground troops to invade other nations without a Congressional declaration of war, in many cases without even consulting Congress. BUT OBAMA IS THE VILLAIN AND THE DICTATOR for authorizing airstrikes against Libya? I think what he did in Libya is wrong. BUT WHAT A GIANT DOUBLE STANDARD to hold Obama responsible when president after president after president has done far, far worse with virtually no complaints from conservatives about taking Constitutional liberties? No wonder some people think race is a factor here. White presidents can violate the Constitution on the issue of war with impunity but if a black president does so, even in a miniscule way (the Libyan operation is small potatoes compared to the others), he is the AntiChrist, a montrous dictator trying to destroy our Constitution. It’s ridiculous.

          • http://Illinois'17th Old Henry

            Mark:

And they ALL should have been impeached.
However, at least they were Americans and constitutionally eligible to be in the WH.

          • DaveH

Are you kidding, Mark? So, it’s okay for the President to kill anybody he wants, as long as none of our military personel are killed?
No, it’s not okay. By the Constitution, and by the War Powers Act, he is not allowed to launch military action against a country that has not attacked us. Especially so without first notifying Congress. Oh, he notified them all right, when they were on recess. Not the first sneaky Obama move, and doubtful to be the last.
For sure, Congress can’t be absolved for shirking their duties of reigning in an out-of-control President, and all of us who care about the rule of law (nobody is supposed to be above it) need to punish those errant Congressmen next year in the elections.

          • 45caliber

            mark:

You may not agree with me, but I distinctly remember Congress voting war against terrorists “wherever they can be found”. And since Bin Laden was in Afghanistan at the time – and all Congress knew it – they gave approval to enter Afghanistan. Further, there was a seperate vote on Iraq – and they voted to go ahead too. Democrats as well as Republicans voted to go in. So in these cases, yes they did vote on it. The rest? I agree about no votes. They should have not gone in without it. Further, we shouldn’t have gone into Libya without it as we have now done. Too many of the Presidents are simply getting UN approval which should not be our governing factor.

          • Eddie47d

Dave H. You are right on this one but full of yourself as usual. Mark was also right and you totally ignored these other pompous Presidents. The liberals are always right for you do attack Obama without blinking yet give other Presidents a free pass. Every one of you pull that same crap. That is why we know it isn’t about right and wrong or just the Constitution. You expose yourself every time.

Elected by Diebold, you mean?….if the people of this country did everything else in their lives as stupidly as they voted, they wouldn’t have sense enough to go on breathing and they would keel over dead in their tracks…or so I once thought, then came to find that a vast number of them were dead and just didn’t know which way the ground was.
Both the chocolate messiah and the Dubya are and were dictators and oath violators and you, Mark, should seriously consider having your tap water analyzed.

          • Carlucci

LOL – !! Excellent points, Robt Hauser! Good on ya.

        • DaveH

You don’t know anything about the Constitution, Mark. If you did, you would know that the Federal Government has been trampling it since Lincoln’s Presidency. Read it. Here it is:
          http://www.cato.org/constitution/constitution_en.html
The really upsetting thing to me is that the Politicians swear to uphold the Constitution and then just ignore it as they pass one Unconstitutional rule after another. In other words (with the exception of Ron Paul and a handful of others) they lack integrity. Expecially Obama who taught Constitutional Law, so of all people he should know better. Yet he passes a Law that Unconstitutionally says we must buy a product (health insurance). Even the Commerce clause can’t be stretched enough (legally) to accomodate that usurpation of Constitutional Federal Powers.
As far as Obama getting elected by the majority of people: Sure, because he lied through his teeth while he was campaigning. I and other intelligent people, who can spot a liar a mile away, weren’t fooled, but a large portion of the voters were.

          • mark

Dave, As I said in my earlier note, I oppose Obama’s intervention in Libya. I don’t think presidents have to right to kill anyone they want to, especially people who have never attacked the United States but George W. Bush did this on such a titanic scale in Iraq, resulting in the death of an estimated 165,000 Iraqis and 2 million refugees (though this doesn’t compare to the 1.5 million dead Vietnamese, everyone can thank LBJ and Nixon for). But no giant conservative movement arose to condemn his war crimes, on the contrary, conservatives rallied in significant numbers to support his unconstitutional war, just as they did with the Vietnam, Korean, Panamanian, and Grenadan wars. As long as a white, militaristic president is leading the unconstitutional charge, waving the flag and talking about our brave troops, it is all just fine and dandy by conservatives. He’s fighting for our freedoms and all the rest of that recycled crap they push with all these unconstitutional interventions.
On the health care issue, the Supreme Court will rule on the constitutionality of Obama’s program, and it may very well be overturned. This just proves that our constitutional system works and has not been destroyed by Obama.

          • Eddie47d

mark; They always tell everyone how smart they are but they choose the lesser of the two evils about as often as Democrats do.Some of them are just as full of puff in their pastries:err when voting.

          • DaveH

Bush is gone, Mark. So is Lincoln, and Wilson, and Roosevelt, and the other war-mongering presidents. Do we need to talk about them every time we criticize Obama’s actions? Do two wrongs make a right?

          • DaveH

And no mark, it doesn’t prove our Constitutional system is working. It hasn’t been working for a long time, since Lincoln trampled it. Just because the Supreme Court rules something Constitutional, doesn’t mean it really is. They have become politicized like most of our other institutions.

        • Greg

Why can’t we have our votes counted by hand…I hear they do in Canada!

          • libertytrain

That’s the way it was done when accuracy was the goal…it’s no longer the plan.

          • DaveH

We could have a robust electronic system with complete transparency, while still protecting ballot secrecy, right now. One where any of us could count the votes ourselves, check to see if dead people are voting, or if people are voting twice, and see if our own votes were entered into the database correctly. But the PTBs choose not to. Too much transparency is anathema to would-be dictators.

        • Ellen

You are right! His main voter groups are African Americans and Hispanics – the 2 groups that have exploded welfare over the past 10 years. Obamacare adds to Medicaid rolls. The ‘healthy school lunch’ bill was a ruse to get free dinner for 20 million kids. Obama has chosen topics that most Americans believe in (ie: fixing health care and healthy school lunches), then he twists them into ways to expand the welfare state. Both bills need to be scrapped and re-done.

          • john

Wait a minute, I’m Hispanic and I can’t stand the guy.

The chaos this president has created neebs to come to an end. We are destroying ourselves, just as he has always desired. He is the most famous disciple of Saul Alinsky who preached destruction of government from within. That is exactly what Obama is doing. He has loaded various Federal agencies with radicals like himself and they are governing our lives. That allows him to circumvent Congress. He has no regard for our courts, or laws. He correctly assumed that, though he was acting illegally, there would be little, if any, opposition for fear of being labeled “racist”.

  • http://Verizon Bud G.

I think the Democrats recognize Donald Trump as a very serious threat to take the White House and doing the usual trash talking. They are smart enough to know he is the only person who can slam dunk Obama in a debate and has the money to challenge for the Presidency and if he chooses Mr. West as his running mate, the Democrats are done.

      Bud G.

You are obviously either drinking too much fox noise kool-ade, dropping acid (LSD) and/or smoking those funny cigarettes.

    • Warrior

Bud you may be right. And if that were to happen, would oblama shed joey for someone like oprah?

    • Polski

Ross Perot had a lot of money too.

      • http://Illinois'17th Old Henry

        Polski:

That is true. However, the Little General was never serious about being president. He was only serious about getting old man Bush beaten on Election Day.

The worrisome thing about Trumpy is whether he is simply a plant by Little Barry / Soros to create non-issues out of real issues.

        • Eddie47d

I think you just said Trump is a nobody or words to that effect.

    • 45caliber

      Bud:

I don’t know if Trump is the man to beat Oblama, but you could very well be right about the reason they are beating on him.

One of the three rules for takeover of the US by the American Communist Party was to take control of the news media and use it to prevent citizens from knowing what is going on in the legislative halls and to TEAR DOWN THE IMAGE OF ANY NATURAL LEADER THE PEOPLE MIGHT WISH TO FOLLOW.

They are trying that with Trump and are working hard on Palin.

      • Carlucci

They can say all the negative things they want about the Donald, but they must be forgetting that he’s from NYC and has very thick skin.
Personally I find it most refreshing that someone that high profile has come along to rabble rouse and “tell it like it is”. Personal attacks on the Donald just illustrate that he is making Ovomit and those of his wormy ilk squirm.

        • http://Illinois'17th Old Henry

Yep Mrs. C, they don’t attack him on the issues. They only attack him personally. That is telling.

That being said, Trumpy makes me very nervous as to his real intentions.

          • Carlucci

I think Trump just likes to get in there and shake things up. He never backs off or has any qualms about calling a spade a spade, and at times he is pretty funny. I’m not sure if he is really serious about running for office, but I love it when someone is that outspoken about what is wrong with U.S. policies and “leadership” – although I would never call Ovomit a leader. He’s a “community organizer” starring in “The Peter Principal”.

          • Bill

You mean you feel comfortable with Obama and his “real intentions”? “I will fundamentally transform (destroy) the government of the United States of America”.

      • Eddie47d

Funny how you brought up the two candidates that love the limelight:Trump and Palin. It’s showtime folks and neither one of those carnival barkers is going to make it to the White House. They can certainly try as any other American could do. I liked both Sony Bono and Al Franken but would like neither to be President. Then again having a small fortune like Palin and more so Trump shouldn’t be the deciding factor either.

        • DaveH

Yep, they won’t have a chance against the Organ Grinder and his monkeys.

        • 45caliber

I do agree that the money shouldn’t be the deciding factor. Particularly since Oblama has announced a billion dollar bankroll.

Actually, I believe that each candidate should be given about ten million in government money to run – and that is ALL that is allowed. No PAC money, no contributions from unknown donors, etc. Then the money would be equal too.

My point was that the media is trying to destroy the viablity of any prospective candidate other than the one they pick. It doesn’t matter who they are or whether you like them. It is being done. And they shouldn’t be doing that.

    • http://! Angel Wannabe

Bud, Trump knows buisness, but I’m not so sure he’s got it for the Prez.___But, Trumps the only one who’s got enough money to uncover Obama’s bio, history, and what he’s really hiding, for 2 million dollars!

There’s still Ron Paul….a man with morals, has never voted for anything that wasn’t constitutional, has always returned money from his states budget funds…believes in state and individual rights over that of the Federal Govmnt; belives in freedom and liberty, believes that getting rid of the Federal reserve and the IRS would be a good thing….believes in sound currency that holds it’s value…what more could you ask for?…VOTE RON PAUL……the others are the same old BS different day….politics as usual gang.

    • http://Illinois'17th Old Henry

      Bud:

You are, in my opinion, correct regarding Trumpy. He has that NYC Chutzpa and could take it into Little Barry’s face.

It is sad that he is, so far, the only one who seems prepared / able to do so. I shudder at the likes of Huckabee vs the Kenyan. Might as well re-run that dottering old fool McCain.

Ron Paul is a REAL possibility. He is brilliant, articulate and could debate Barry into a corner, but at a less confrontational manner.

Paul and West would be good. Paul and Bachmann would be great, but that would take Michelle out of the House where she should be Speaker.

Hopefully the folks in OH – DaveH(?) – will eliminate the Weeper.

      • Bill

This will be Ron Paul’s third run for the presidency. He is not a serious candidate. He can’t even carry his own state.

        • DaveH

Do you know what his platform is, Bill?

          • DaveH

            I didn’t think so.

You’ve gotta love people who diss Candidates whose platforms they don’t even know.

Trump scares Obama, but Trump is not intimidated by Obama. He forced Obama to released a crude Certificate of Birth that can only be categorized as poor quality forgery. Shame on the President and all his criminal cohorts. Forging such a document is a felony and attempting to pass it as true and correct is fraud, also a felony. So, here we are suffering under the dictates of a criminal in the White House.

The more the progressives bash a potential candidate. The more they fear them. They do not want Trump to run because they know that he is the only one who can match the democrats dollar for dollar. who else in the debt ridden G.O.P.(60-100 million in debt from last elections)so do not expect party support for funding just moral support. You want industrial jobs, someone to handle the Chinese sending goods here tarrif free(U.S.A. biggest consumers in the world so we do have leverage to strong arm China. No U.S. market to sell their unregulated goods(lead based paints and other dangerous products everybody forgets the toxic drywall that was used in new homes)Donald Trump or someone like him a visionary who during the course of their life have accomplished major projects, not talked about how he is going to do something. Actions speak louder than words.President Obama hit a grand slam with the killing of Bin Laden, But look at the contraversay and poor handling of the aftermath. He doesn’t want to release pictures and ” spike the ball”, but after numerous (9 or 10)trips to N.Y.C. in the past 21/2 years, This is his first visit to ground zero to spike the political football. President Bush almost always made a stop there when he would be in N.Y.C. How about a compromise and release the funeral at sea video which in no way has any graphic footage in it. A shroudded body being dumped into the sea is a G rated video and should not shock or offend anyone.

The only reason I laugh at Trump is because he is a jerk. The only reason I fear him is because he would get us in a lot more trouble around the world than we already are in. We don’t need a loud-mouth narcissist in the White House.

While a fool who shifts from billionaire to bankruptcy like a change in the wind and a pool of sillies like Palin, Romney, and Bachman capture the gaga Reich Wing spirit of the moment, what is made so clear is that the Rethuglican Party has nobody to run against President Barack Hussein Obama, and, more importantly to anyone who still gives a pig’s knuckle about this dying country, the GOBP has NOTHING at all to bring to the table.

Cut Medicare?!? Increase the size of the shoe Capitalism presses against our throats? Cut EDUCATION?!? Wow, you people really DO want to see this country fall apart—I do, as well, of course, but for much different reasons. The White Estates of Amerika has outgrown its place in a world we have worked so hard to destroy. We are in our death throes.

“Love the fetus, HATE the baby”–that is the conservative philosophy—-pump them babies out, but we will not help them with medical care or education, and when they fail we can sweep them up into the military and send them off in another War of Capital. We, as a “people”, are cooked. The USA has no place at the table of civilized nations. We are terrorists and polluters, and the thinking peoples of the Earth do not like us.

Who was it that said, “The Capitalists will sell us the rope with which we hang them!”? Might of been Lenin, but I am not sure. The point is we have lost to the fake Communism of China in our ever-pressing Love of Money.

So, laugh at Trump’s hair (how weird that Ben Crystal refers to him as “the Donald” —Crystal shows himself as nothing but another media-directed Gossip Girl) and the Eric Cantor/Mitch McConnell assault on Amerika’s children, and what you have is nothingh–NO solutions, NO ideas, and, thank God, NO hope in 2012.

    • http://www.personalliberty.com/author/ben-crystal/ Ben Crystal (Would have been here sooner, but I had to look up “Gossip Girl.”)

“Alex”: As much I as abhor taking the shine off your magnificent rant, I had a quick note for you:

      You misspelled “America.” Twice.

      • Alex

Actually, with ‘Amerika’ being a variant spelling that goes well with the swastika at this country’s heart, it looks like I only misspelled the word ‘nothing’ in the last paragraph.

        • 45caliber

          Alex

Actually your idea of spelling America is NOT the Nazi way – it is the USSR way. And since you are so impressed by their method of government, I assumed that was what you hoped to see here thanks to your “hero”.

          • Alex

I am not impressed by the former USSR. They were obviously horrible people, except for helping defeat Hitler.

The problem with Communism as seen in the USSR is like the problem with any governemnt trying to operate on so huge a scale—it just does not work. Look at this sick country: That there exists a most definite Blue State/Red State divide is without question. While most Personal Liberty readers will disagree with me, it is my sincere belief that the more thinking, tolerant, peaceable, and informed people would consider themselves and their ideas to fit, MORE of LESS, onto the “Blue” sideof the issues, while the less-tolerant, less-educated, less-informed fall to the “Red”. My point is this—by trying to keep hold of 300 million+ people spread the breadth of a continent, our ‘de-mock-racy’ fails us all.

We should have let the dumb, backwards Southern states go ahead and secede–provided we insure safe passage to all peoples who wish to flee North and West (though, of course, that did not mean a whole lot, as History shows). Let them biuld a nation with no more free labor and a shallow gene pool. Instead, we fought the War of Southern Belligerence to keep the already overextended Republic whole, allowing our Man Infest Destiny to metastasize.

The thing is, we should allow the Red States like Texass and Oklahoma and the Southeast to leave us alone and form the Idiocracy they seem so bent on imposing on, like I say, the thoughtful and caring smart people.

“No Big Governement,” you people screech incessantly—except for subsidies to business, the protection of the one per cent that own you, the mjilitary, and your Bedroom Police.

Again, no , I do not have any misconceived love for the Stalinist USSR, just as I have no misconceived love for this country. I love my kids, my family and friends—countries are just Granafallons, unnatural amalgamations held weakly together by the Foma of delusion. Just ask anyone in Berlin in 1938—”Don’t you just LOVE your country? Don’t you just HATE people who don’t love their country?”

One last jab—Ronald Raygun, the man who laughed at the unearthed remains of raped and murdered missionaries in El Salvador, the man who wished for an “epidemic of botulism” to strike the very people he was sworn to protect as Governor of California, the back-stabbing deficit-tripling trickle-downer did NOT “end Soviet Communism” by playing cowboy—he merely outspent them to death—with YOUR MONEY! HAA—the joke is on YOU!!

            Dear Alex,

It’s so good to have someone with your wisdom, knowledge, compassion and tolerance blessing us with your presence. We are all striving to reach your level of understanding. Perhaps one day we will be worthy to engage you in philosophical discussion. For the time being, however, we remain dumb and backwards, less tolerant, less educated and less informed than you. You could do yourself a favor and go away and come back in about 10 years. Perhaps we will have evolved to the point that you won’t consider us all so inferior. But I doubt it.

            Best wishes,

            Dear Bob Livingston,

I always appreciate the restraint you show when dealing with a Big Mouth like me—someone you have serious differences with still warrants the same polities with which you treat all of your other readers.
Sometimes I say things, to be sure, to get a response, as I realize that my views are very Far Left—far to the Left of the middle-of-the-road President Obama (I know, most of your readers believe that the president is a Socialist or even a Marxist, but this is not just playing hard and fast with the rules but completely absent of any validity.
I would like to close by telling you that while my postings often result in an apoplectic response from outraged readers, they very very rarely evr offer anything of substance or point out my mistakes (because there are hardly any—sometimes, but I do not claim perfection. But. seriously, most of the readers I encounter on your website seem to spout only the latest buzzword from Faux Noose–seriously, ‘death panels’, ‘New Black Panthers’, etc.—and I so hopefully wish that a person in your position might advise them to read and listen BEYOND the superficial, to listen to BOTH sides. Keep in mind—Fox News gave what, one million dollars to the Rpublican Governors Association—and people still cling to the fallacious “Fair&Balanced” No-Spin mantra—who, after the million dollar injection do people THINK Fox News pulls for?
One last thing: please apologize to Mr Crystal for my referring to him as a ‘Gossip Girl’ after his Entertainment Tonight-esque use of the name, “the Donald”—many times I write things in the heat of the moment…
Best Wishes to you and yours, Alex

Meanwhile, Egypt says it’s all set to announce a new working constitution. To which Obama replied, “Uh … what’s a Constitution?”

I can’t help but think it was deliberated carelessness as he misspelled several words in “jest” much like some do “Liebrals”.

It’s just a “dig” an attempt to inflame.

I actually couldn’t tell where he was coming for except from the “middle left of center”. ~ discursive as sometimes I tend to be as well.

Mr Crystal—please accept my sincere apology for the “Gossip Girl” comment–it was just that I cannot stand that TV “the Donald” nonsense. I wrote that while hot and bothered, Again, though I do not think I have ever read a thing from you that I agree with, I will work on being more respectful.

        • http://?? Joe H.

          Mr Crystal,
Please excuse Alex. After laying in his progressive filth all day, it is ahrd to just brush it off and be polite for even a second!!! Filthy to the core doesn’t wipe off.

          • Eddie47d

Then it’s time for you to leave manure spreading Joe!!

    • AndyZ

Then why don’t you fake Michelle Obama and find a country that you like maybe Cuba or the PRC will suit you better they have all the socailist programs you seem to want

    • Cliffystones

“The point is we have lost to the fake Communism of China in our ever-pressing Love of Money.”

While you belittle capitalism, you failed to note that the Chinese “Fake Communism” that the US is losing to is actually the worst kind of monopoly capitalism wrapped in a red flag. We are not losing to the type of government Obama wants to institute, those are already in Europe and bankrupt.

And when “The White Estates of Amerika” finally does cease to exist, where is all of that money for your gubmint handouts going to come from? Do you Marxists have some new genetically modified tree that grows Benjamins? Or maybe medicine, clothing, housing? I mean really, what is your plan after everything colapses and TSHTF? Are you man enough to take us crackers on, knowing full well you’ll probably be shot and killed if things fall apart as you hope for? C’mon tough guy, we’d really like to hear your plan!

As a completely non-racist white male who has many friends and relatives that are of many races, I wonder just how you folks propose to filter out all of us capitalist honkies? And who exactly is going to take over and provide the labor to feed, clothe, house, etc. all of the freeloaders who think the world owes them a living? Are you up to the task Alex? Are YOU prepared to be your brothers keeper? Please do, tell me how wonderful your post-white-folk-world is going to be? What should all us white folk do, invest in tanning booths and repent to the NAACP? Or maybe just a simple mass suicide? Please enlighten us, we’re just too obtuse to see the Marxist nirvana that awaits you folks!

      • Alex

Count me as one of the “white folks”, Cliffystones—I have lived amongst White people my whole life and understand many of their ways. My own two parents, in fact, were Caucasoids.

The reason I so often refer to the ‘White Estates of Amerika’ is that it sounds so much cooler and is a more apt description of the tired and mean old hag, to wit: There are more citizens in the District of Columbia than there are in, say, Wyoming—they just do not get the representation. The great fear of the Reich Wing is that should DC ever be granted statehood (which deserves), there would be two new senators, assuredly Democrat and Black.

I do not personally have all the answers to the many problems that would face a world free from greedy and militaristic governments, but I do feel certain that what God( or the Gods–not sure which best fits) clearly intended by making us different and smarter than most other animals is that we should BE different than the animals and develop such ideas as ‘sharing’, ‘compassion’, and ‘altruism’, things that our present system has no room for. Most of the people in the country strive to have more than their neighbors, thinking that material enrichment is the key to a better life.

No doubt most of this column’s readers see my views as a sort of candy-coated Hallmark Card, but that, people, is the goal to which Providence would have us strive—to show that, yes, we are different than the rest of the animals, that the thoughtfulness with which we have been graced would be used for the betterment of us ALL, as a species. This country has taught us that building fences and distrusting others is the best way to ‘keep’ things. Sad.

We, as a nation, are the opposite of ‘good’ or ‘Godliness’. We take pleasure in hoarding at the expense of others. we salute the dollar only, and gladly provide the very wealthy with more ways to fashion their fortune, thinking that we will be next at the trough. The great California writer John Steinbeck once perfectly commented that the reason Socialism has never taken hold here is that the poor in this country, rather than seeing themselves as an exploited proletariat see themselves as ‘temporarily embarrassed millionaires’—HAA! How smart is THAT?

        • Thamera

Alex your delusions of what America is are exactly that: YOUR delusions and not even worth replying to except to point out to people like karolyn: Alex is a good example of an extremist with not very much between the ears, hateful and angry who thinks defamation is “cool” LOL

          • Alex

You people always attack my postings, but you never offer anything to rebut a word I write.

          • Eddie47d

Thamera; I agree that Cliffstones comments below were darn good and Alex’s were hardly extreme. Now if you take on the right wing extremist on this sight and call them out then I might move closer to your side. Several people who comment on THE Alex’s on this site always and I mean always say that liberals are on welfare. I’m not sure how saying something like that will improve conservatives intelligence since it is seldom true but they say it anyway. It’s poor people and a few scammers who are on welfare and I don’t think they give one iota who is conservative or liberal.

          • Cawmun Cents

Apparently Thamera,Alex is looking for an excuse to use his great insight(yawn)to enlighten us.Since he is offering points to ponder which have never been previously foisted on us,(what a source of immaculate wisdom he is)we had better watch out!He might even dare to come up with some new knowledge of liberal insight(I realize that this is an oxymoron)which we had never pondered before. We should thank him for his suffering us(lousy un-educated racists)the key to college knowledge. What say you Thamera?

        • Cliffystones

          Alex,

I agree that it would be wonderful if all of humanity, Americans included, were more ‘sharing’, ‘compassionate’, and ‘altruistic’. But you can’t legislate those values into folks (unless you’re not sharing your secret). If you can, read Atlas Shrugged. It’s not a rich vs. poor thing we are fighting. I used to fall for that trap myself. It’s a “live and let live, and mind your own business” versus a “control freak, I’ll tell you what’s best for you, do as I say, not as I do” thing. There are rich people who have worked for it and deserve every penny, and don’t deserve the government butting in telling them how and when to be charitable. Then there are those with money and power that play the system to keep themselves in control of you, me and everybody else.

I grew up in the Barrios of East LA. I’m not rich, but we have lived responsibly and within our means to hopefully ensure we won’t have to rely on handouts in our old age. But sitting “in the middle” between the moochers and the people who live beyond their means let’s me see the faults in both lifestyles. They both are the problem IMO.

But Washington DC? Not exactly the best example. Most folks there are either Federal employees or on the dole.

The very thing you speak of, the “forced” redistribution of wealth, simply will not make things better. Socialism looks good on paper, but when human nature get added to the mix history shows us just how oppressive the result is. The only way it would work is if human nature were somehow altered to those ideals you mentioned, or if Angels from Heaven administered the plan. It will never be a viable plan in our lifetime, and probably never will. Even John Lennon said “imagine”, he didn’t claim it was going to happen anytime soon.

Capitalism, true independent Capitalism can and does work. It is the ultimate “check and balance” system, the only one that can truly guard against the ravages of the dark side of human nature. Not the multi-national monopoly conglomerate stuff either, The local individuals, groups and small businesses who work hard and are allowed to keep the Lion’s share of their profits to better themselves and their LOCAL communities. When we pay taxes for social programs at the federal level and to outfits like the UN, we are essentially flushing the majority of it down the toilet of bureaucracy. The Feds should be responsible for defense and Interstate Highways, nothing more.

Your response to me showed thoughtfulness and intelligence. You sound like me a quarter century ago. But please consider your premises thoughtfully. Don’t believe me, Fox News, MSNBC or any body. Do your own math, and don’t assume anything. And most importantly don’t assume all of those who espouse Socialist Government have the same altruism as you. Some of them are control freaks of the worst variety who simply see Socialism as a vehicle to “Get on top”, just like those people with “rich folk envy”. The Democrats will turn the screws to all of us just as fast as the Big Business Republicans will.

          • Thamera

            Well said CS

          • Alex

The point that I was trying to make is not a political one, but one of the spirit.

It is my belief that we, humanity, are not finished in our quest for Enlightenment, a better world, and a more thorough understanding of our place in it. It is also my belief that we do all have some sort of intelligent ‘Creator’.

To my mind, and I do understand that many of you see me as deluded or hateful or dishonest and so the term “my mind” might seem laughable, to my mind it is only logical that the Creator—God— allows our missteps in the hope that we, all of us, will still grow and evolve and become those altruistic caring and sharing people I speak of.

          • DaveH

            Very good, Cliffystones.

          • DaveH

            Alex,
There will always be dishonest, and/or hateful people. The best you can do is strive to not be one of them.
Cliffy is right, the best we could do is create a voluntary society where peoples’ bodies and property are their’s to control without the meddling of busybody do-gooders. And where people can trade freely amongst each other without the meddling of busybody do-gooders.
What you seem to advocate is a society of force. I know you think you know what is best for everybody else, but newsflash, YOU DON’T. Every person has their own unique likes and dislikes, and their own unique abilities, and nobody but that individual knows what would make that individual happiest. When people like yourself appoint themselves to decide what each person should behave like, you make them less happy, not more happy. Your Society of Government Force can only lead to an unhappier society.
I have never before in my lifetime seen so many unhappy people, yet the Government spends twice as much now as when I was born, ostensibly to make us happier. Obviously it isn’t working. But did the leaders ever really think it would, or is the truth that they don’t really care as long as they are happy?

          • Jay

Hey Alex, if you ever manage to get on Oprah, you’ll be the next Deepak Chopra!

        • DaveH

The noble aspect of “sharing”, Alex, is to give freely of your own property, not other peoples’ property (that is theft).
You might practice that “compassion” you preach by not dispassionately taking other peoples’ hard earned money. People who often are struggling as much as the people you feel “compassion” for, but still strive to not be a burden on others, only to have thieves, like yourself, help themselves to their money.
If you were truly altruistic, Alex, you would at least take the time to study economics and world history, so as to understand that societies like you advocate always fail economically. But I guess that matters not to an elitist Liberal Zealot who just wants people to do things his way.

          • Alex

To DaveH—But, you see, to MY point of view, ‘property’ is a poor concept. Yes, I have books and Art and shoes and things that belong to me, and that I would not like to see taken away without my say-so. The concept of ‘property’, however, seems most un-Godly. We spend too much time on ‘things’.

I do not wish to impose my views on anyone. I do not recall ever accusing you of wishing to impose your views on me or anyone else. Why is it that when people merely disagree with you, you seem to think that they want to tell YOU what to do? Why is that? If you can find amongst my many postings the desire to force others to do as I say or think, please let me know. I do not believe you will succeed.

My spiritual ideas set forth above are, like ALL spiritual or religious ideas, just that: IDEAS. No one–NO ONE knows for sure. Mine just make more sense to me. You seem to believe in a God who wants everyone to hoard things and neglect the poor and the hungry and the sick and collect guns. That is a weird God….

          • Thamera

Well said DaveH…and in response to Alex’s highly charged assumption: “You seem to believe in a God who wants everyone to hoard things and neglect the poor and the hungry and the sick and collect guns. That is a weird God…”

Ergo: your assumptions are entirely off base and only give credence to the fact that you have fallen prey to the propaganda and spin of the progressive left that wish to infect you with class envy, hatred and spite toward any of those that have “things”. Let me tell you something, people on the govt. dole; welfare, have a lot more “things” than I do, for example, and I work hard for a living.

Don’t presume to “KNOW” the hearts of men Alex. You don’t. Further, based on your postings, sadly you don’t have a clue – especially about those of us that you peg as “red”.

In addition Alex, you should know by now that America is not a democracy.. We are a republic. There is a difference.

          • DaveH

You think property is a “poor concept”, Alex? Then why do you champion Liberal politicians who want that property? If it’s such a “poor concept” then you should be happy to leave other peoples’ property alone. And before you say you do, I will say every time you vote for a Liberal, you are voting to steal somebody else’s “poor concept”.
If you’re as charitable as you like to believe, quit voting for your gang members to steal other peoples’ money. You have no idea what anybody has done to accumulate their property. Many can barely function to support themselves, but their trudge on because they don’t believe in making unwilling slaves of other people. Then your kind comes along and relieves them of money they needed to take care of themselves, and you convince yourselves you are being “charitable” to assuage your guilt.
Even if the money truly came only from the “rich”, the fact is that they employ a much higher percentage of their money then most people in capital investments used to create more goods for the economy — goods that may be life savers for some people. While the money that the Government takes usually goes to buying votes rather than productive investments.
If you want to do something charitable, rather than taking money from random unwilling donors who you don’t know, join the Salvation army. Get your bell and your red money pot and stand on a street corner, like the truly charitable people do.

        • Cawmun Cents

My question on your great love for socialism is,what happens when you run out of other peoples money?

Oh you are so right. odumbdumb has already stayed in office too long. How much more damage are we going to allow him to do. Most other countries would have shut down their government by now and set up new elections I have never understood why we guarantee terms of office anyway. In any area of business or sports people get fired on the spot if they begin to fail.

        • Eddie47d

What countries are those? I don’t see that scenario happening very often. What is going on in the Middle East can’t be used as an example since we don’t know what they are being replaced with. In the sports world they can do as they please and are often traded to a better position. In the business world executives are seldom fired and usually it’s the little guy who get’s canned. I think you need to trade in your kool aid for some hard liquor. A good drunk might do you some good. LOL

They have their rules in Canada and they abided by them. A change of Representatives is hardly a coup and so what if they chose more conservatives . Good for them if that is what the majority desires. Then again I don’t expect you to stop being an arrogant azz on everything.

        • DaveH

In the old days, Bob (before Lincoln trampled the Constitution and built Big Centralized Government), each State had its own laws, and if you didn’t approve it was a relatively easy thing to move to a State that did operate to your liking. Now, we are stuck with the one-size-fits-all Federal Government.
We need to push for people to learn and understand the Beauty of the Constitution as it was originally intended by Jefferson, Madison, Washington, and others like them. And then get back to Constitutional Law with the Federal Government playing a much smaller role in our lives.

          • Cawmun Cents

They will teach a marxist view of the founding documents just like they do now.Thats why you have no learning in this country. If you have teachers to do the thinking for you then you dont have to think. If you have gubment to do all the work for you, then you dont have to work.Much like Catholicism, socialism is not having to do it for yourself.Everyone can be equally useless that way.A catholic priest is your go to man in the event something goes morally wrong, much like the social worker in the gubment when finances go bad.No sense going to God yourself and asking for something. No sense going to work for something,it will all be taken care of by someone else. You will do as you are told, until the rights to you are sold.Right this way to window A.Sit down shut up,drink kool-aid from a socialist cup.

Yeah, especially after Clintoon refused osama twice and could have prevented 9/11 alltogether!!! Osama is dead now(?) but the man that gave them the info to find him was captured in Iraq so we never would have found him without our involvement in Iraq!!

      • DaveH

We need to concentrate on Congress. Without the aid of Congress, Obama would be powerless. We need to start letting the nominating committees of the political parties know that we will no longer tolerate week-kneed candidates.
And we need to get some third-party candidates in office so the voters have more choices than just the one offered by the Big Government loving Republocrat Party.

    • http://Illinois'17th Old Henry

      Hey dumb ass, er, Alex:

While the Constitution is still somewht functional why don’t you please avail yourself of one of the most important aspects of it – LEAVE.

You should have no problem fitting in over in China, Cuba, N. Korea. Just spin the wheel – please.

      • Alex

        Left Coast, baby!

Born and raised. My kids, too. I will leave if and when I decide to. One thing about California—the many Mexican ‘illegals” here have much more right to stay than any non-California Native from, say, Oklahoma or Texass.

        • JeffH

Alex, maybe you can tell us why the illegals have more right to be in California than American citizens?. While you’re at it tell me why California is the leading welfare state and maybe tell me why California is as good as bankrupt.

I’d be willing to bet that you had a hand in hepling California get this way…I’ll even give you a hint…Boxer, Pelosi, Feinstein, Jerry Brown, Maxine Waters, Marc Leno, De Leon…and the beat goes on.

            Jeff:

            You left out Schwartenkennedy…

        • Cliffystones

Uh, sorry Alex, but there’s this pesky little “Treaty of Guadalupe Hildago” that the Mexicans signed way back in 1848. While I don’t blame those who come here to earn money to support their families, they have no “right’ to do so without the permission of our elected government.

I grew up in Los Angeles. I watched it turn from being a nice place to live to a total $#ithole. The was due in large part to the illegals who came there in mass, not to immigrate but to colonize. And I’m not racist or anti-Mexican, my first wife was Chicano. Her dad was LAPD. The first two words he spoke to me when I met him were “f-ing wetbacks”. This was in 1980, and it’s only gotten worse.

The Mexicans will probably annex California anyway when it goes flat broke. With all of the political correctness combined with people such as you who think they have some “right” to reclaim California by force, I doubt anybody will make much of a fuss when it happens. I’m just glad I left when I did. Is wonderful to live in a state where you still have some constitutional rights left.

          • Thamera

I’ve lived in Sacramento and San Diego and the decay of that state has been very depressing. In San Diego you can’t drive through the field without watching a field picker urinate into the street just for one example and Los Angeles has turned into a dirty cesspool. Where the highways were once the envy of many states, they are dirty, brown and for lack of a better word, just crap. In addition, I have good friends that are Mexican that DETEST the illegals Alex. And I have to ask, are you bi-polar? I’m thinking yes.

  • Gayle

Trump has shown real class by not responding in a negative or contradictory fashion to these juvenile taunts. A lot of people pander to whomever is in charge or to get most attention, but how do they really feel. In my opinion the osama episode is pure show and osama has been dead for years. Maybe obamas hoping for a war so he can continue without an election.

    • Polski

Or maybe Trump just couldn’t come up with a quickie good response.

      • Cawmun Cents

Or maybe he doesnt like quickies and wants to take his time….

        • Eddie47d

I think the Donald loves quickies. That’s funny that some of you criticize Obama for “taking his time”.

          • Cawmun Cents

Dats a goodin CC! Ya made me chuckle..

  • Cliffystones

Trump to me is like Sean Hannity, Don Imus or (to a lesser extent) Howard Stern. While I might occasionally agree with their views I find their styles annoying. Trump says what more real conservatives need to be saying. We need someone in 2012 who really, REALLY stands up for the principles of the founding fathers, and who is not afraid to call the policies of the Obama administration exactly what they are- borderline communist.

    • Bitter Libertarian

Those people are out there! Problem is they dont have the large wallet to get air time on their own, their support group is supported well, and its almost IMPOSSIBLE to get something going even if you’d be the greatest president if you dont have MONEY.

I know I would do America Justice as president,(not bragging just willing to Die for America) yet I couldnt even make the radar screen because I work a full time job (50+hrs/week) and have other family thing’s I do to keep afloat. I would need a “campaign machine” to “scoop me up”, and a seperate something to keep my home afloat while running.
My point is that there ARE excellent candidates out there…they just cant get nowhere because of how our system is setup…and SUPPORTED by the American people who dont realize that they are SELF DESTRUCTING by enabeling a TWO PART MONOLOPY..

      • Cliffystones

Oh so true. Elections on both (all?) sides of the political aisle seem to be bought and paid for. That was the only explanation I could come up with as to how McCain suddenly (it seemed to me) became the Republican front runner. And those who tell the people what they NEED to hear as opposed to what they want to hear (Perot, Paul) are branded as unelectable, or worse.

        • DaveH

I was working in Kentucky, staying in a hotel for many montsh, when the candidates were running for the primaries. Before the Republican primaries, whenever I’d pass through or use the lobby, no matter what the channel was, there would be John McCain. The MSM was giving him face time constantly. But then after the primaries, I would rarely see John McCain. It was all Obama. The MSM did their job well.
Think about that next time you hear somebody proposing Campaign Finance Reform. With spending limited, the MSM would have all the power to give their favored candidates plenty of air time.
Already, as illustrated, the MSM has tremendous power to steer our votes. We need to become more politically active and spend time learning how the candidates actually voted on past issues instead of listening to their lip-service. Actions speak louder than words.
Take John McCain, for instance, who had a very Liberal voting record, but then when running for re-election here in Arizona he sounded like the world’s most conservative Senator. Obviously he was lying. But the sappy Republican voters fell for it and re-elected him to the Senate.

    ALEX, MOVE TO VENEZUELA!

    • Eddie47d

Rich! MOVE TO CHINA.There capitalistic system is working well so maybe you’d be much happier. Think of it this way,you could pollute as much as you want in the name of making money.

      • DaveH

Are you serious, Eddie? China is barely capitalistic. They are as far away from Free Markets as you are from being respectful to your fellow human being. And their pollution problem is normal for countries with weak economies. It takes wealthy countries to have the financial resources to afford clean environments. And you Liberals want to throw that away here (our wealth).

        • Alex

DaveH, you need to study the effects of Industry on the Environment—show me where it works.

          • Eddie47d

It does work better here than China because the American people demanded it back in the late 60′s-early 70′s. Guess who wants to do away with environmental protections Dave?…. Bingo! Since I know you already knew the answer.

          • DaveH

            Alex,
It’s a well-known fact that the poorer countries have the dirtiest environments. Eddie’s example of China was a valid one.
Do your own research. I’m not your nanny.

Selling your soul to the company store isnt capitalism Eddie47d.

        • Eddie47d

I know C.C. but there are just to many capitalists selling their souls for that next mansion.Their love isn’t for the USA, but here they can get away with what they are doing. They are trying hard to milk us dry and get away with the loot to boot.

          • DaveH

Selling their souls? I would say the most obvious soul-sellers are those who will use force to take other peoples’ money and property. Anything to please that green-eyed monster.
And, Eddie, if you and your fellow Liberals can do it better, then do it. Show us how it’s done. Pool your monies, start your own companies and be as generous as you want with your money and your products.

      • Alex

        You are smart, Eddie47d…

  • bob wire

Well, I believe The DNC would enjoy seeing Trump or Palin run. ~

But i would hope the GOP might muster up someone I could defend and support , giving me the sound option of choice.

    • DaveH

There is no better presidential candidate than Ron Paul. That is, if we want our country back from the Elitist Leaders and their Crony Capitalists.

  • ONTIME

By not releasing that photo of OBL and standing behind it, the Mystery Man has doubled down on his own failure, another back handed slap in the face by a man who see’s himself as the moral concious of America. This is his fallacy and will make him more than vunerable in the upcoming election, without a verifiable BC and enchancing the mistrust of the voters he is nothing more than a slow target ripe for the hit and the Deemers all chatter nervously as to how they are going to avoid their own destruction.

You are acquiring all the acess Mr. trump and you may or may not be the man to occupy the WH, but there is nothing that is keeping you from firing those arrows that need to be used. Real Republicans you had better learn how to use that right hand.

This site has sure been invaded by the hired-paid-by-Obama2012.

This one site posting now contains more left-wing personal attacks and character assasination, then… pointless, logic and common sense ignoring, horse shit,

I really like this website and orther conservative sites to enjoy reading the posts, but the sudden surge of hired left-wing nutjob guns puking the Obama-demonrat-mantra and talking points is like a swarm of locust destroying a crop of hope.

Perhaps it is because they are running scared, or on the WH basement staff and are paid to do this. It’s been done before.

      • Eddie47d

Please libertytrain send me my check. It’s long overdue.

        • DaveH

We know you probably aren’t being paid, Eddie. Even Democrats are wasteful enough for that.

          • DaveH

            AREN’T wasteful enough for that.

            DaveH, they don’t pay “stupid”.

          • Eddie47d

Well Jeff; Why don’t you keep rolling over for those Republicans like a good little pooch.

          • JeffH

          eddie,

          • Eddie47d

That manure pile you are standing in Joe is starting to harden. Maybe someday you will break free of your ignorance.

    • Alex

Why do you people so distrust thought that is different than your own? Are YOU paid by someone? Well, of course, reading your stuff answers that one. But why is it so hard for you to see that people with their own opinions often like to SHARE them.

My father once asked me if I would rather have a conversation with someone I agreed with or someone with whom I disagreed. His point was well-taken—if you sit around with a bunch of people who say the same things–you do not learn or progress as much as you would by a healthy exchange with a person of variant philosophy.

For that reason, I often encourage people on Personal Liberty to listen to Rachel Maddow or LINK TV or public radio—just so you can at least get an idea of what is being said by those you seem so at odds with. As distasteful as it can be, I check out Sean insHannity and Bill o’Really? on occasion to be informed. Most of the conservatives I know will not stray form Flush Limpjaw, the drug-addicted pedophile, or the Faux Noose gaspipe. Your minds seem too small to even consider other ideas.

      • Nadzieja Batki

You want the conservatives to come over to your side of the fence. Why don’t you go over to their side and actually do some thinking and analyzing.

        • Carlucci

The problem is Alex is confusing many of us with RINOs like Rush Limbaugh. I take great offense to that, as I cannot stand RL, Bill O”Liely, or others of that ilk.

        • Alex

Obviously you must have read what I wrote, Nadzieja Batki, but did any of it actually register?

          • Jay

Alex Said: Obviously you must have read what I wrote, Nadzieja Batki, but did any of it actually register?

Alex, how could any of it register since none of it made any sense?

      • DaveH

Oh yeah, it’s obvious from your slurs, Alex, that you are open-minded. NOT.
Tell me, since you’re so intelligent, why the countries, who have implemented ideas like yours, are always so economically poor? Is it going to be different this time? You are going to somehow make a failure of an agenda into a winner?
Speaking of that, I heard a typical Liberal on TV yesterday stating that FDR saved our economy. He presided over TEN years of Depression, and she believed he saved our economy? That’s why it’s useless for a conservative to try to enlighten a Liberal. They just refuse to acknowledge results that don’t support their belief system.

      • Jay

Alex said: My father once asked me if I would rather have a conversation with someone I agreed with or someone with whom I disagreed. • DaveH

You’re missing the point, Jay. He isn’t hanging around here to learn anything from those he disagrees with. He just likes to disagree. A Curmudgeon.

          • Jay

            DaveH, I was being sarcastic.

          • Jay

DaveH, btw, this idiot has sh*t for brains, and I agree, he’s just here to stir things up. Check out moveon.org and similar organizations, I suspect that is where all these parasites are coming from.

          • DaveH

I didn’t mean that to belittle you in any way, Jay. I should have worded that differently.

          • Jay

            No worries Dave. Cheers!

    • DaveH

That’s a good thing, FreedomFighter. How else can we expose how morally and intellectually bankrupt they are?

      • Eddie47d

Because we can’t get through to you how morally and intellectually bankrupt your side is. There’s a lot of work to still be done. I would vote Libertarian and I bet Alex would consider it. You just come across as too abrasive for our likings. You hang on to the coattails of the RINO’s trying to persuade them over but most of them ignore your pleas also.

        • DaveH

          Polly want a cracker? Awwwrk!

Eddie, do you think that bothers me when you say that? I wouldn’t want my party sullied with morally and intellectually bankrupt people like you.

          • Eddie47d

You are proof of your own pudding. Keep spinning your wheels and scratching your head in that desire to recruit more people to the Libertarian Party. Your slandering of others will hardly endear others to your cause. Although you really believe it will and that is your loss.

      • JeffH

DaveH, here’s another shining example of why they don’t pay stupid.

          • Cliffystones

            Angel, 45cal,

I’m a native of California myself. But I was fortunate to be raised by a WWII veteran, a combat Marine, who was also a Missourian. There’s a reason they call it “The Show Me State”. You learn to question everything, and demand proof in actions, not words. He was also a staunch Union man and believed in the working man. But the operative word here was “Working”, not milking your employer for every dime you can squeeze while doing as little work as you thought you could get away with.

He and union officials would actively support management when dead beats were caught trying to avoid work. Hiding and sleeping on the job comes to mind as one of those games. His was an independent union that had kicked out the AFL-CIO in the early 60s because of their already socialist leaning tendencies.

It was a damn shame when his company was bought out and the factories closed simply because the buyer could make more money selling off the pieces. And his factory was one of the most profitable, modern cardboard box factories west of the Mississippi. I have to wonder if the buyers were Limousine Liberals?

      • http://! Angel Wannabe

Alex, Stay as long as you want, but your think or spew won’t change a thing, but your welcomed to think it will! :)

I will check out your website as time permits, but what do you think of the study–and I know you Reich Wingers hate “studies”—that purports to show that–through brain scans— ‘liberals’ have minds more centered on complex thought processing while ‘conservatives’ brains are better wired for fear and anxiety!! HAA! Makes absolute perfect sense—that is why we call you Fright Wingers.

You know, the troglodyte scaredy-cats on the Right are always complaining about the “Liberal Bias” in the media and in academia. Well, guess what? It takes brains to be a professor or to get a job with a reputable media outlet–you gotta be smart, and that is why so few conservatives ever get to be teachers.

      • Nadzieja Batki

It takes very few brains to parrot information. It takes a brain to be able to be wise and actually work. Liberal educators are not educators, they do no thinking and just parrot the same propaganda.

      • 45caliber

        Alex:

You need to try to get away from the old liberal taunts. They get old. We need some new stuff. If you are as smart as you think you are, you should be able to come up with some. Try harder.

        • Carlucci

Alex, are you aware that those brain scanners were built by conservatives and that those scanners are the leading cause of brain tumours?

Alex said: ‘liberals’ have minds more centered on complex thought processing.

Alex, I definitely I agree with you, It is truly amazing how liberals can screw up simple things that a baboon could figure out, like balancing a check book, and turn it into a complex issue, and that, through a more centred and complex thought processing!

Alex said: Well, guess what? It takes brains to be a professor or to get a job with a reputable media outlet–you gotta be smart, and that is why so few conservatives ever get to be teachers.

Talk about Daniel in the lions’ den?…..didn’t Trump even bother to wear a flak vest? Well, wealth like his tends to dull the senses of the vast majority of those lucky enough to be blessed by same. What a tragedy that George Lincoln Rockwell couldn’t have been there at that suckfest for Obama when it became a dart game for I assure you he would have pulled Seth Meyer inside out and stuffed him into a light socket and once he turned his wrath on Obama, the MackDaddy wouldn’t have lasted five seconds. When it came to trading pasquinades and insults with the so called “liberals” and other PC of his day, Rockwell could always give far better than he got.

  • Robt Hauser

My, my, all this gala revelry by the starry eyed drooling masses over the “death” of someone who has already been in that state for ten years….how typical of New Age America. No doubt come about October of next year, they will stage yet another “brilliantly articulated raid” on some other obscure “holdout” and find him “dead” again and the Mongoloid Masses will be showering praise all over their clay foot idol chocolate jesus again and we’ll be stuck with the narcissistic piss ant for another four years. America never learns. Orwell was an optimist.

  • JeffH

May I suggest reading this fine article by Larry Elder just to get a perspective on the hunt and kill of Bin Laden..

    Bush Led, Bin Laden Dead.

    Osama bin Laden was:
    a) killed by a unit overseen by what New Yorker reporter Seymour Hersh denounced as Vice President Dick Cheney’s “executive assassination ring,” which was b) sent into action based on intel derived from the now-outlawed “enhanced interrogation techniques,” which were c) used on detainees captured during the George W. Bush administration, who were d) being held in now-outlawed “secret prisons” or in the intended-to-be-closed Gitmo.

    http://www.creators.com/opinion/larry-elder/bush-led-bin-laden-dead-where-s-the-credit.html

  • jopa

We must give Bush some credit for the death of Osama bin Laden. If Bush wasn’t sleeping on the job 911 would never have happened.Since it did happen Barrack Obama made it his number one priority to get this evil man and he did.Thank you Mr. President. We would have caught him sooner but there were too many informants on bin Laden’s side. The Pakistani government and those phone numbers that were sewn inside his clothes.Inside sources say the numbers are Scooter Libby’s and Dick Cheney’s.

    • http://! Angel Wannabe

yeah jopa, if you, the 8o Socialists in Congress and the rest of the liberal entitlement sheep, weren’t crawlin up Obama’s azz, we’d have never have had Obamacare passed either__BUT WE HAD TO PASS THE BILL TO READ IT!!

jopa, give credit to donald trump, he forced barrys hand again, barry is in a dither, as usual, he wanted to save obl for a while, when his poll ratings hit about 10%, then he made the mistake of having obl executed. typical stupid move for barry, especially with un-employment rising and not enough of his battery operated sardine cans selling. so you think he will order the gulf wells back to work? or is he working on a new car that operates by a wind driven propeller. just read a report some recovery company recovered obl’s body bag and lo and behold there was nothing in it, however, two goat herders with radiant robes swimming with the bag exclaiming he has arisen and has returned to the middle east, they praised him as the 12th imam.

  • DaveH

Here’s how it’s going to unfold if we the people don’t get our heads out and start working to stop it:
The Government will keep spending $1.5 Trillion more a year than it takes in. That’s $4,500 per man, woman, and child in this country per year. Or to put it another way, it’s $14,000 for each average family in this country. That budget shortfall goes directly on the National Debt which is already $14.3 Trillion dollars. That amounts to current debt of about $43,000 for every man, woman, and child; or $129,000 per family. So our children and grandchildren, who didn’t even have a say in the matter are going to be on the hook majorly when they reach adulthood.
Obviously, that rate of debt increase is unsustainable, and if Government can’t live within its means now, how in the world are they going to bite the bullet and decrease spending to the level where they can actually start paying back some of the debt? Just to break even, they would have to spend $1.5 Trillion less.
Most likely we are in for an economic collapse that will make the current bad economy look fabulous. When that happens the leaders will protect their own, just as they have throughout history. They will make sure the military is happy as well. But those of you on the dole who think they are going to do fine, think again. With a collapsed economy, the leaders and their friends are going to think about themselves first, the rest of you are expendable. And lacking skills, as you must (or you would be taking care of yourselves), they will kick you to the curb without even a drop of pity. Governments have done this throughout history. Our country will be no exception.
The question for most of you is this:
Do you want the Government to work for you, or do you want to work (if you’re lucky) for the Government? I choose the former, but currently it is the latter.

  • peeler

Ben – you ARE a babling idiot. Dont you know that while you and others were out screaming about a stupid, unimportant detail like his birth certificate, BHO was out KILLING OSAMA BIN LADEN. Your buddy George Bush gave up on getting OBL – he even CLOSED THE OFFICE IN CHARGE OF tracking down OBL! I cant thinkm of much more National Security and Foreign Policy gravitas and outright CAJONES than to track down OBL and get him. Blows Dubya and Rummy and Cheney’s crowd RIGHT OUT OF THE WATER, not that they didnt do a great job of shooting themselves in the foot all by themselves….So shut up – BHO will, AT THE VERY LEAST, go down in history as the president who got OBL, next to 9/11 itself, one of the most important foreign policy victories in history while Bush Cheney will, AT BEST, go down in history as the WORST…President….EVER.

    • DaveH

Let’s analyze this. People are idiots for expecting the President to be a natural born citizen as the main law of the land requires? But it’s okay to break the law, enter a sovereign country without the leaders’ knowledge, and kill an unarmed man, then dump his body into the ocean like so much trash, using the excuse that to do otherwise might stir up trouble (are you kidding me?).
I guess that shows us where this guy comes from. Myself, I will take law-abiding leaders who aren’t robbing us blind, taking away what little freedom we have left, and giving the rest of world a reason to hate us.

      • Alex

Again, DaveH, it’s a Black Thing—the President is asked to provide informaytion no other president has been asked for. The beliefs of the President are called into question, as no other president, at least in my long lifetime. The President is in the White House for two years and now bin Laden is dead, after Bush spent eight fruitless years and still hurled 500+ young American mercenaries to their deaths in a stupid war agianst someone who had nothing to do with 911, and still he gets criticized. The First Lady wants dumb fat American kids to eat better and play outside and she gets criticized. She wears a sleeveless dress and gets criticized. The President bows to a Japanese official and gets hounded by you people, yet where was the outcry when george Bush French kissed Saudi officials.

Racist hypocrites. And, hey, instead of further vitriol, attack my postings with word of substance, with concrete criticism, not just “liberal marxist blah blah blah…” If I am so wrong, POINT IT OUT and back it up with something of your own.

Eddie I like you, I really do. I think it is admirable that you spend so much time with your grandchildren for example, no doubt parents are working? idk, but aside from constant mockery and manic flip flops in behavior, what exactly is Alex saying?

          • Eddie47d

He is saying that the right concentrates too much on the negative and even when something positive happens you always turn it into a negative. Such as our obesity problem in America especially in young children.Michelle Obama wants Americans to eat healthier and especially those school age children. The right automatically condemns her and says it is none of her business in what thy eat. Then of coarse they go after her “big butt” and calls her ugly. Is it racism, sarcasm, or just a meanness that has permeated the right?

        • Jay

Alex said: If I am so wrong, POINT IT OUT and back it up with something of your own. Alex, are you saying you’re not wrong? BTW, there’s nothing wrong with the people who voted for Obama that becoming taxpayers won’t cure.

Alex, no other President was an illegal alien. And for you, for sure, it’s a black thing, but I suspect it may be a brain tumour. You should really have a doctor look at it. BTW, I keep hearing rumours of free obamacare for lap-dogs!

          • Thamera

And don’t forget his (Alex’s) comments about dumb fat American kids Jay as the reason I guess that it is okay for the government to FORCE their choice of “diet” on Americans. LOL Alex you are as phony as they come and just as transparent espousing “compassion” and “the spirit” over politics. LMAO. Please don’t do the rest of us any favors, we are at least intelligent enough to be the stewards of our own lives without the “pie in the sky” belief that the government is somehow a benevolent institution only looking out for the “welfare” of it’s citizenry. It’s enough to make a person physically ill. btw where were you and Jopa and the rest of your ilk when we were discussing the govt’s heavy handed raid on the Amish farms because they sell raw milk??

postscript: My kids aren’t fat or dumb so forgive me if I don’t share the same view as Mrs. Obama when it comes to what MY kids should be doing and what MY kids should be eating. If I could find raw milk for example, that is what they would be drinking!

          • DaveH

I guess that means Alex will vote for Herman Cain, since he (Alex) isn’t a racist.

        • DaveH

You just don’t get it do you, Alex? What are you a teenager, who hasn’t yet worked for a living?
What people don’t like is Obama stealing their money, forcing them to do things they don’t want, and decreasing the value of their life-savings. We don’t like Dictators. I happen to be a health food nut, but my eating habits are not Michelle Obama’s right to dictate.
You are forcing your way on people (through your government), just like any rapist, thief, or mugger might do (they also rationalize their actions), but you think somehow because your gang is 100 million strong, you can just cast aside morality.

Here is something to think about for anybody who hasn’t completely gone over to the dark side:
          http://mises.org/daily/4125

          • Thamera

Exactly DaveH. People like Alex, or karoly, or Jeremy etc., don’t recognize force when they see it or when it is being employed because it is so often wrapped in feel good sentiments like “safety”, “compassion”, “kindness”, “altruism”…it’s always for the “good of the people” and weak minds like Alex suck it all in so that they, in the end can feel GOOD about themselves. For all of their platitudes of love and compassion, it is anything but and is rather self-serving on their part without any regard to their “fellowman.” Just like Obama it’s all about the “look at me” mentality. “Look at me” shouts Alex as he demonizes anyone with a different point of view…”look at me” he shouts…I care! LMAO–Another ‘useful idiot’

          • Eddie47d

Thamera; How do you and I reach out to those “fat” kids or their parents as a nation. You say you can solve your problems on your own and that is terriffic.Yet it is obvious that no one is helping these other kids or educating their parents to the problems that being overweight can bring. You can live in your individual bubble and ignore these growing problems even while they are causing enormous health problems for all Americans. What they Don’t do effects the rising costs in healthcare for all.Our local governments have allowed fast foods into their schools and disbanded PE classes and that is a recipe for disaster. Somebody has dropped the ball and you seem to think we should sit back without a viable solution. We as a nation are afraid to act on anything for fear of interfering with someone elses right. Our food industry certainly won’t help because they want people to eat whatever they sell no matter how unhealthy their products are. We need a leader who is willing to take on the chemicals that are put in their foods which alters our bodies. Your side attacks those people as the food police and the packaged food companies love you for it. Most Americans think their foods are safe and healthy when they don’t see the hidden dangers. We need a new Paul Revere to sound the alarm instead of this paralysis of doing nothing.

          • Thamera

Eddie Thank you. I really do appreciate the insight without all the name calling and slander (not referring to you). And I agree with almost everything you say about our food and some American kids being fat…however, here is where you and I differ. I don’t believe that the government has any business in the personal choice of Americans. My belief is pretty straight forward “education, not regulation”. As a parent, I am doing a great job raising my children. I invest my time, energy and money into raising my children. I am dedicated, active and involved. Unfortunately not every parent is like that…I work with several of them… And here’s the problem…most people, if not all people are where they want to be. I know that might seem like a strange concept, but it is true. I work with “underprivileged” families on welfare on a daily basis. They are given EVERY opportunity to improve their lives and at the expense of the taxpayer no less. I can’t tell you how many of them refuse the help like counseling, healthy foods prep classes, personal development and parenting classes, and refuse to take action to improve their lives or the lives of their children. They simply do not want to. They are happy where they are. Most days I feel like I am doing no more than banging my head against a brick wall. The living conditions of most of these families are deplorable at best and they are more than happy to keep downing fast food and soda pop…not to mention their smokes and alcohol. The people in the “welfare” class are some of the most uneducated, stubborn, ungrateful people I have ever encountered. I wish I could have you spend one day with me in my world. Most of the social workers I work with, in fact, gave up along time ago and only attempt to maintain the “status quo” at this point. The desire to change and improve has to come from “within” there is absolutely nothing the government can do by mandate to change people’s behavior unless it is through force and unfortunately the government doesn’t make a distinction between parents like me, and the parents I work with…I have no problem with Michelle Obama discussing healthy food and visiting schools, in fact, I think that is great. The problem I have and people like me is when those discussions become a federal mandate or regulation which affects ALL of us, not just the kid that is fat.

        • http://?? Joe H.

          Alex,
He was forced to show things no other pres has had to show??? Are youclueless as to the requirements of the constitution??? Every president before him has had to show theirs!! What about Bush having to show his military records to prove he didn’t go AWOL???? Don’t be a mindless fool!!!

    • Jay

peeler, that just may be one of your FINEST babbling and idiotic statements you have ever written! BTW, do you live in Detroit?

  • peeler

Trump? What Seth Myers said wasnt funny, that the Donald is a joke – but it wasnt funny because it’s TRUE…. I cant wait to see Donald in a debate with Romney or Pawlenty or Rand Paul. Rand Paul will eat him for breakfast, vomit him up and re-eat him 5 or 6 times before the Donald will be able to say “birth certificate” -:)

  • chuckb

peeler, an unimportant thing like a birth certificate?, the bolsheviks musr really love you. since when is proof of citizenship an unimportant thing? only to a liberal democrat. since when is breaking the law not important.
trump debating romney, paul or pawlenty? number one paul is not a contender and won’t be, romney is a weak kneed sister and couldn’t debate a door knob, pawlenty hasn’t got the fire in him to debate trump. these guys are all politicians, that’s what we have to get away from. i don’t know much about trump, but, so far he’s sure got the bolsheviks stirred up and when they start calling names you know they are losing.
one of the most important foriegn policies in history, you better go back to the liberal school you went to and re-read your history, somewhere you lost track of the more important things in our history.
your admiration of the muslim in chief is effecting your mental state.
and further more we would never have killed obl without the policies that the bush admin. set into effect. your hero barry was dead set against the very things that helped us track down obl and it wasn’t anything barry did other than take 16 hours to decide if he wanted to kill his fellow muslim.

    • DaveH

Paul not a contender? Hmmm, you should have informed Fox of that. They had him on to debate with 4 other Republican hopefuls tonight.

  • Jay

Ben Crystal, thanks for the good laugh and especially your closing sentence: That’s funny Mr. President, maybe you could start making jokes after you stop being one. He’s a joke alright, a sad one!

  • Lomax

The reason they are trying so hard to smear Donald Trump is that they are very afraid of him. If he were to get elected, things would change rather dramatically away from the communistic direction that we have been going, and the and the jackasses (Democrats) wouldn’t like that much.

  • Jay

Obama attempted to trump Trump by releasing what they say is his Honolulu birth certificate. It even has a doctor’s signature on it. Now I’m not saying it’s fake, but I don’t think Marcus Welby was a real doctor.

    • Carlucci

Maybe it was really signed by Dr. Demento.

      • Eddie47d

The next show for your circus will be in 15 minutes. We know the elephants will be on stage with that cute little Dumbo the Republican being the MC. Just kidding and I might even show up for the next act.

        • Carlucci

I am not a republican. It doesn’t sound like very many on this blog are either.

          • Jay

Carlucci, eddie seems to be stuck in a very narrow political closet.

          • Eddie47d

Some of the Libertarians don’t seem to be making much sense either so who has the correct answer. I guess that is why we all show up for the next round.

  • chuckb

alex, all those eight years with bush proved fruitless? your buddies the bolsheviks spent all those eight years fighting bush to restrain his effort to either catch obl or win the war. your muslim in chief fought every move to fight the terrorist and thereby prolong the battle. didn’t barry proclaim the surge would not work and the war was lost?, didn’t barry consider water boarding torture? he sure did. he is in the process of prosecuting some our military for using techniques he considers torture, at the same time using the information the bush admin. derived from the terrorist by water boarding to capture obl, kind of what you call supreme hypocricy.

your president is without doubt the most ignorant man to ever sit in the white house. he is the most politically corrupt even worse than jimmy carter. our country is on the edge of disaster, our economy is shot and he is worried about getting re-elected, worried about poll numbers. is he worried about this energy crisis he created, i see oil is falling today, so maybe this was all contrived to get his rich buddies some more pesos on the futures market and conveniently fuel starts falling as he struts around bragging like he alone did obl in, this guy is only for the weak minded easily swayed person. i’ll bet he’s got knee burns from the rug after praying for taking the life of his buddy obl. that’s really gutsy when you make a phone call to eliminate someone and someone else is doing it for you. question to you, do you think as brave as barry thinks he is, would he have the guts to pull that trigger? lol

    • DaveH

There is nothing ignorant about Obama. He knows exactly what he is doing — paving the way for himself and others in the political class to turn the rest of us into serfs.

  • Jay

DaveH, of that, there can be no doubt.

  • Brian Wheatley

No matter what the Dems say, The Donald is an American success story.
Multi-billion dollar fortune. Rags to riches to rags, to riches again.

On the other hand only a couple of this administrations front bench have ever held a real job in the real market place. They know precious little about how the market works, thinking that Government spending money they haven’t got bailing out inept companies, and actually taking over a couple, is going to fix an economy!!!

So what do we require to run an economy? Not big government. They created a disaster which has effected the whole world, and now sling off at someone who just may have the answer to the problem.

I really hope and pray that the American people do not reelect this idiot and his cronies. If he returns for a second term America may never recover from the harm he will do.

  • Jay

“Barack Obama said yesterday that the economy was ‘going to get worse before it gets better.’ See, that’s when you know the campaign is really over. Remember before the election? ‘The audacity of hope!’ ‘Yes, we can!’ ‘A change we can believe in!’ Now it’s, ‘We’re all screwed.’” –Jay Leno

    A. The President of the United States.

    Barack Obama’s Budget Rules

    1. If Obama calls deficit spending an investment, then it must not cost anything.

    2. Cutting a billion dollars from the military justifies giving a trillion dollars to bankers.

    3. When Obama sends a spending proposal to Congress, it doesn’t count if they want to spend even more.

    4. If Obama reduces a proposed increase in spending, he counts it as a budget cut.

    5. When Obama eliminates our deductions, the higher payments we make aren’t a tax increase.

    6. Obama’s budget is like his golf game. He eventually winds up in the hole.

    7. Higher taxes are Obama’s way to stop you from thriving too fast.

    8. Reading an omnibus tax bill before signing it is bad luck.

    9. If an entitlement program is off budget, it’s free.

When General McChrystal went to President Obama to turn in his resignation, Barack bitterly said “You’ll probably intend to piss on my grave someday.”  The General replied, “No, Sir, once I’m out of this man’s Army, I’m not standing in line for anything ever again!”

Obama has ordered that the term “Islamic Radicalism” be removed from national security documents. It’s being replaced with “Allahu Akbar!”

The Obama economy utilizes a system of carefully monitored checks and balances. He writes the checks, you pay the balance.

Barack Obama, at a recent rural elementary school assembly in East Texas , asked the audience for total quiet. Then, in the silence,  he started to slowly clap his hands once every few seconds, holding the audience in total silence..

Then Obama said into the microphone, “Children, uh, every time I, uh,  clap my hands together, a, uh, child in America dies from, uh, gun violence.”

Little Richard Earl, with a proud East Texas drawl, pierced the quiet and said, ” Well, dummy, stop clapping!”

“If someone was trying to sell a car the way they’re trying to sell this bill [the Obama healthcare insurance bill] they would be violating the Lemon Law.” –Congressman Dan Lungren

Obama visited the local GM (Government Motors) dealership to see if he could land himself a “Cash for Clunkers” deal. Unfortunately, once he got there the dealer told Obama that he couldn’t use his wife as trade in.

Bill Clinton, Joe Biden and Barack Obama go into a bar.  Bill tells the barkeeper, “I’ll have a B and C.” Obama whispers, “What is a B and C?” “That’s a bourbon and Coke,” Clinton answers. Then Biden orders, “I’ll have a G and T.” Obama again whispers, “What’s a G and T?” “A gin and tonic,” Joe replies. Obama wants to seem like he’s one of the guys so he tells the barkeeper, “I’ll have a 15.” Now it’s the bartender’s turn to ask, “What’s a 15?” Obama says, “A 7 and 7.”

  • http://oDumbasChangeRunOut@DoucheBag.GoHome oDumba

oDumba is a lying POS! The fact is they attack ALL Republicans and anyone who stands a chance at outing oDumba. oDumba PROVED he is ineligible to even hold his job BY releasing his birth certificate, Read the constitution BOTH parents must be American citizens, his father was NOT… Pretty speeches will not save oDumba this time we have seen the real oDumba! Im sure the stupid people (Liberals to ignorant to live their lives without someone telling them how and when to do everything AKA Democrats) will still vote for oDumba but it’s not going to matter oDumba WILL be voted out … DON’T even try hacking the voting results or the US WILL have a revolution on their hands, Americans have had enough!!

One thing I loved was when Photoshop came out with the layer options. It made things sooooo much easier to do. Now mind you if you only needed one layer, and didn’t add any others, then you have one layer. But building something like a fantastic package design or something fake, might have ten layers. Obama’s birth certificate had two layers (original birth certificates always have only one layer) so his is one of a kind. The forger, who needs to go to prison along with big illegal in the White House, forgot to flatten the layers. I always flatten mine, unless I plan on going back to work on a project some more. A fool using an OCR program (simple) and still forgets to flatten it; well Obama I’d take his job, before he goes ta jail. Oh and don’t forget Obama’s videos on YouTube where he and his wife both are bragging he was born in Kenya. Guess it doesn’t matter he had no right by law to be president the first time. Think we’re going to let you use over seas money (oh that’s right), he just stabbed them in the back) Oh well, he still has each of you to vote seventy-five times, you can keep some Reps away with baseball bats, and you have all the dead people Dem or Rep you can vote with your union buddies and the new Acornies Obama is still filtering money to, and don’t forget, he can openly bribe (a crime for anyone else, but he’s the boss. And surely if he sues enough states he can bring all of Mexico here illegal as Undocumented Democrates. Ain’t gonna happen we’re going to put you rears in jail this time . . . funny business, it won’t be funny because there’s going to be a lot of checking and criminal charges are going to follow. Next pres. will have a real birth certificate. And he will take a test on two words, legal and ILLEGAL!
