Bachmann Vs. Pawlenty

Bachmann Vs. Pawlenty

On Sunday, the two Republican Presidential candidates hailing from Minnesota took jabs at one another.

First, on NBC’s Meet the Press, Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty said of Representative Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.): “her record of accomplishment in Congress is nonexistent. It’s nonexistent.”

However, Bachmann was quick to respond, saying in a statement that she was running on her “accomplishments.”

“This is an election about the future of our nation–one where voters will have to decide who is best equipped to lead our nation by looking at our records, as well as our vision for the nation,” Bachmann’s statement said, according to a blog for The Hill. “Instead of negativity, I want to focus on my accomplishments.”

While Bachmann did not mention Pawlenty by name, the blog speculated that “Bachmann’s response could reflect an emerging jousting match between Pawlenty and Bachmann. She is a leading contender to win the Iowa caucuses, and Pawlenty has staked a great deal of his campaign on winning that contest, though he’s enjoyed little traction.”

According to the latest poll from Iowa, Bachmann is beating Pawlenty and every other GOP candidate in the State. In a telephone poll of 500 likely caucus goers conducted by, Bachmann lead the Republican field, with 25 percent support and a 65 point favorability margin. By contrast, Pawlenty came in third overall (after former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney), with 9 percent of the support and a 48-point margin of favorability.

The portion of Bachmann’s statement incuded in this article gave no long or short list of her accomplishments. Seems like an important aspect of this story that should be listed IF she gave a summation of her accomplishments.
Pawlenty’s statement is also an obvious (and maybe accurate) attack on the frontrunner in this state’s primary.

Go Michelle! I know your accomplishments and you are being attacked because of them and your faith. Keep up the good fight, fellow patriot! FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

With her views on slavery I am sure she (Bachmann) is willing and able to enslave blacks for their own betterment. It would be far less a big deal if not for the fact that this idiot (spelled correctly) really believes in the crap she spews out on the national level. No it is not a matter of moderates, liberals, progressive liberals or even real Reagan conservatives not liking any conservative candidate. The present group has their baggage but it is candidates like Bachman that waste the time of the voters who want good solid people to elect and not ones who are not only off the chart but also out of their damn minds. I would sooner vote for David Duke, at least he is not all over the board with his hate or rather he does not attempt to disguise hypocrisy by wrapping it in democracy. Since when did it become ok to equate slavery with anything good?
Taken from a country you consider home and brought to another country to become a slave. Even if by chance you were a family when you were kidnapped, (in most cases not) you had to in most cases endure the master (Thomas Jefferson and others) taking the daughter you were trying to be a father to so he could do with her as he pleased. What sane person running for the highest office in the land would sign such a document as the one Bachmann signed? And some of you say and with distain that the president is Muslim.
So Bachmann is the Christian who believes there’s some good in slavery? I bet she is just broken up she was not in the state of Texas after the emancipation. She could have gotten a few more good years in to keep two parent black households together. But never mind Michelle if you are elected you and your group can help out the blacks by enslaving them again. You know the saying; only Christians know what’s best for Israel and blacks

Go Michele! Pawlenty did an interview on CNN, during the week of gloating, accusing Palin of murder, the total bashing of Republicans, by Democrats, of Giffords shooting. It was beyond relentless! I am no longer a real fan of Palin, but sometimes you have to DEFEND YOUR TEAM! As i watched the interview, I said to myself, “Dont you dare choke, Pawlenty!” Have some chivarlry, grab some guts and fight. He Choked! Pawlenty is a Gutless Wonder, who ambarrassingly, tries too hard. MICHELE SHINES and she has the Creds, to back her up. Get Chris Mathews goat and win, girl! AND, TO REPLY TO RON…QUIT HYPERVENTILATING…. STAFFERS, DO THE READING.
