Collectivism is a psychological prison derived from a beneficial instinct as old as humanity itself: the instinct to connect with others, to share experiences and knowledge, to build and create together. Collectivism uses this instinct as a weapon. In this age, our ideas of what constitutes “community” have been tainted and confused with the propaganda of collectivists.
Defiance is a virtue unto itself. It is its own means and its own end. Wherever people seek truth and honor, no consequence is foreboding enough to stop them. Defiance takes no notice of the threat of death. As more and more totalitarian measures are being instituted by government, is the time for defiance, even without assurance of victory, growing near?
Survivalism is not about taking on a new identity; it is about being prepared. It is not about paranoia and fear. It is about awareness, responsibility and common sense. High energy prices derail healthy economies and completely decimate systems already on the verge of collapse. Oil affects everything.
