Blood Clots

We don’t hear much about blood clots or heart attacks in young people, and that is because blood sludging is related to aging.

Educating The 95 Percent

According to my very unscientific analysis, only about 5 percent of the conscious American adult population (those who bother to follow issues at a minimum level and vote in national elections) truly understand inflation and how the Federal Reserve’s policies are stealing your wealth every day. Sadly, that percentage becomes frighteningly lower when combined with the rest of the American sheeple.

Cain Leads The PLD Poll, But Scandal Response Paints A Disturbing Picture

Herman Cain is the leading vote-getter in our Personal Liberty Digest™ Republican Primary poll (which originally introduced many of you to our site) over the past 30 days. This result seems to mirror Cain’s meteoric rise in national polls following the GOP debate in Florida in late September.

Omar Bradley: General At War by Jim DeFelice

Omar Bradley: General At War
Casual students of World War II may be familiar with names like Marshall, Eisenhower and Patton — maybe even Montgomery — and the roles they played in the European theater of the war. But only the more ardent history buffs have probably ever heard more than a passing mention of Gen. Omar Bradley.

The view most hold of Bradley probably comes from his portrayal by Karl Malden in the 1970 movie “Patton” with George C. Scott in the title role. In it, Malden was typically seen as Patton’s underling, even after Bradley was promoted over Patton as allied forces moved into Sicily.

But such portrayals, and in fact most histories of World War II, don’t do Bradley justice. He was far more involved than most realize in the planning and execution of the war as the battlefield moved from Africa and into Europe, especially the D-Day invasion of Normandy. Jim DeFelice seeks to burnish Bradley’s image in his new book, Omar Bradley: General At War.

Natural Sore Throat Remedies

When winter weather causes a sore or irritated throat, why not try all-natural remedies instead of prescription sprays or syrups. Mix together this solution: 1 to 2 tablespoons of pure tea tree oil and 1 cup of water. Gargle with the mixture and spit. Be sure not to swallow. This can help fight germs and kill potential bacteria that may be causing your painful ailment.
