Arnold Palmer Orders A ‘Mr. Palmer’ At Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga., (UPI) — A waitress at the Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia said Arnold Palmer ordered the drink that shares his name as a “Mr. Palmer.”

Palmer, a four-time Masters winner who is visiting the club for the tournament that began Thursday, was spotted drinking his signature iced tea and lemonade beverage in the outdoor dining area adjacent to the clubhouse Wednesday, The (Newark, N.J.) Star-Ledger reported Thursday.

The Star-Ledger said a waitress who identified herself as Kelsey was the one who brought the champion his beverage.

“He leaned over and said, ‘I’ll have a Mr. Palmer.’ Then he winked,” Kesley said.
