Apple Cider Vinegar as a Digestive Aid

Apple cider vinegar is very beneficial as a digestive aid. Take 2 tablespoons in water with 1 teaspoon of honey before meals. It works by increasing the flow of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, thus aiding digestion.

    The apple vinegar cider was the answer to my problems. For about 3 years I had developed digestive problems. Not just digestion right after eating, but 3 or 4 hours later, I would develop a burning sensation in my stomach that was the most intense pain I have ever had. I now take a couple of these natural remedies when needed and keep them close by just in case. Forget all the ant-acid rolaids and such. They just make things worse. This has helped me out of something I thought would require surgery. I can’t say enough about the relief I now have.

    I just recently saw a presentation on the local PB TV lauding the use of pro-biotics. I decided to try them and although I am sure that in most cases they are very beneficial, I personally had a bad reaction which I do not want to undergo again. I experienced constipation, cramps, partial diarreah and constant stomach upset. I then returned this morning to an old favorite of mine over the years which never fails-2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar in a glass of water before eating. One dose this morning and I already feel better. Never failed yet. I forget it sometimes with all the media battering we now get everywhere.
