Another Arrest In Britain Phone Hack Case

LONDON, Aug. 10 (UPI) — Police in Britain have made another arrest in the investigation of alleged telephone hacking by a newspaper, officials said.

Greg Miskiw, 61, is a former news editor of the News of the World, and was being investigated for allegedly hacking into the phone messages of celebrities and public figures between 2005 and 2006, the BBC reported.

Miskiw has been arrested on suspicion of unlawful interception of communications and conspiring to intercept communications, the BBC said.

Miskiw is the 12th person arrested in the Metropolitan Police investigation of the phone hacking allegations.

The News of the World was shut down in July as a result of the phone hacking revelations.
