Anger From The Left

September 2, 2011 by

Al Gore loses his cool. It seems all the loot the former Vice President is collecting (word is he’s close to becoming a billionaire, thanks to a bunch of insider deals) isn’t enough to bring him happiness. He went on “a profanity-laced tirade” at a conference last month, lashing out at all of us nincompoops who are skeptical about the validity of his alarms about man-made global warming. I’ve had plenty to say in the past about this extremely expensive hoax, but maybe I should revisit the subject again… if only to bug Big Al.

Michael Moore urges Obama to “show some guts.” Exactly what does the left wing propagandist want the President to do? Why, order the arrest of the CEO of Standard & Poor’s for having the unmitigated gall to downgrade the debt of the Federal government. “These criminals brought down the economy in 2008& (sic) now they will do it again,” Moore wrote on his Twitter feed. Moore applauded the police in Italy for conducting a raid of the S&P and Moody’s offices there. It’s no surprise that Moore approves of government by terror and intimidation; he’s a big fan of Fidel Castro and Huge Chavez, too.

A California congresswoman blows her top. Apparently, Representative Maxine Waters (D-Calif.) isn’t buying into appeals to show more civility in our political discourse. Recently, she told a crowd of supporters: “As far as I’m concerned, the Tea Party can go straight to hell.” She also urged supporters to “unleash” her on the White House, so government will start doing more to fuel job creation.

Do rude people earn more? According to three college researchers, the answer, sadly, is “yes.” Beth Livingston, an assistant professor of human resource studies at Cornell University, was a co-author of the study, “Do Nice Guys – and Gals – Really Finish Last?” According to the study’s numbers, the less “agreeableness” you demonstrate at work, the more money you are likely to earn.  The differences can be dramatic, with less agreeable men earning 18 percent more than their more amenable cohorts. “Nice guys are getting the shaft,” is how Livingston put it.

Nice guys and gals may finish last, but it is a fact that they also live longer and enjoy themselves more for a longer period of time. It is true that if you want to enjoy a long and fruitful life well into the retirement years, it is much better to be nice and take it easy.

    • hicusdicus

You are absolutely wrong and misinformed. The oldest men in nursing homes are the most cantankerous and stubborn. which means I am going to have a long and miserable life.

      • Jay

From the sounds of it, you always had, are, and will, have a miserable life. That’s the thing with miserable people, they have a miserable life. I know plenty of retired people who enjoy happy lives. The thing that you can’t seem to get through your thick skull is that, what you are, is what you see! Duh!

  • SweetOlBob

Y’know, The Goracle may be right in refering to us as nincompoops.
However, the term I always use in refering to most democRATS, and specially people like Algore, is “NINCOMPIDDLE”. I think they aren’t worth the use of “poop”.

    • Larry Pierson

      To SweetOlBob;

I wouldn’t call them DemocRATS. I taught a course in Biblical evidences and to demonstrate how even a small change in the genetic code can have major impact on living organisms, I took a word in the English language and changed a single letter. The word was ‘democrat’; I changed the ‘c’ to an ‘n’. The word then became ‘demonrat’ (although Republicans told me it was poor example, as there was no difference between the two).

By the way, the gene I used as an example was the one that built a 1280 amino-acid protein that controlled congestion in the lungs. A single defect in the gene substituted the wrong amino acid in one place, resulting in the most common form of cystic fibrosis.

      • Michael J.

The world would beat a path to your door if you could build a better demonrat trap. Here’s a hint, use feta cheese for bait.

        • http://?? Joe H.

          Michael J.,
Better hint: Use limburger, the worse it stinks the more the progs like it!!!

    • JimH

Bob, Now you owe all rodants an appology for comparing them to Democraps.(oops, now I owe an appology to feeces)
People like Maxine Waters and her cohorts are doing their best to create hell on earth, so if she gets her way every one(not just Tea Partier’s) will be in hell.

    • bob wire

“The Goracle ” !!! LOL!!!!Hehehehe I like you already! and I don’t have clue to your “persuasion” .

I like “clever” where ever I find it.

  • pilot

Boy, the libs have such inspiring “leaders”. Algore, Maxine (Maxie) Waters, and of course blowhard Michael Moore are just trying to get us dummies to see how right they are. Ha! Yeah, give Hussein Obuma inspiration to “get tough”. Drive that bus off a cliff.

    • bob wire

yea ! they are almost as inspiring as yours!

But I don’t believe Micheal Moore qualifies is a “leader”

      • Ted Crawford

Most of us wonder if he can even qualify as a human!

  • dan

There are only two types of people in this world : those filled with faith ,love and charity and those enslaved by their desire for recognition , power and revenge.

    • Sam I am

This is overly simplistic. For example, I see myself as filled with love of libertarian princliples, but hatred of tyranny, and I happen to be enslaved by the deadly sin of lust (can’t stop looking at porn). However, I have no desire for power, BUT I would like to see the controlling elitists burn at the stake for their sins against humanity, so I guess I do have some desire for revenge and justice.

      • hicusdicus

I look at porn also. Except I do so for scientific reasons. I am trying to remember why girls used to be so much fun.

        • bob wire

Hmm, glad that I’m not the only one! Haha hehe.

Girls seem to have changed when they quit seeing me as perfect in every way.

and what happen to “Love your enemies” ?

I read that somewhere, ~ where was that?

          • Jay

That was when you still had a conscience, and a brain. All rotted out now, sad old man…

  • Sam I am

If only Michael Moore would ralize that big government is just as evil as big finance, big pharma, big oil, etc. The people at S & P are a bunch of bastards, but so is our government. As a libertarian, I am against big anything.

    • hicusdicus

All Micheal Moore realizes is that if he does not have something in his mouth to chew on he is miserable.

      • bob wire

So why the hate for Micheal, if he’s nothing but a man that you just don’t what to get between him and a sandwich?

and for the record, we are experiencing global warming at an accelerated rate of speed today.

If you are the kind of person that has an interest in global affairs and keeping abreast of current events you should be alarmed with what is occurring today.

If you are not alarmed, go back to sleep as I don’t think we can avoid events of biblical proportions at this point regardless what we do or don’t do or how man might have avoided it.

Just buckle up, it’s going to be a bumpy ride and hold on to your sandwich.

Scoffing at the incoming data just make you the fool.

Nature is coming to whittle us down to a more acceptable numbers.

        In the meantime, enjoy yourselves.

Dress light and pack light, it’s hot where we are going.

        • Jay

Hmm, an Al gore disciple! If you believe what you just wrote, why aren’t you living up in them there hills, with light pack, and light clothing? I know, you find it hard to leave your first love, beer and porn!

        • Ted Crawford

Come on Bob. There have been five, major extinction events in global history. Four of those were climate change events, and NONE of them were “man caused”! Major climate change, if that is what we are experiencing, is a normal cycical occurance. That, of course doesn’t make it any less devastating, however if we follow the path that Gore suggests, far more people will starve to death long before climate change can get them!

        • Ted Crawford

In an interesting aside here Bob, if Gore really believed that the sea levels were going to rise by 25 feet, why did he purchase a beachfront property thats highest point is only 15 feet?

  • Sam I am

Most studies are totally bogus, in my opinion. For example, posted above, apparently if you are rude, you earn more, but is it really true that there is a direct correlating relationship between rudeness and wealth earned?? I am pretty sure that if I became rude to my boss, my chances of getting fired would go up. As with any study, you have to eliminate as many variables as possible so that you just have one variable. It could be (as I hypothesize), that rude people are also more driven and more agressive in general. In other words, perhaps rude men potentially make better soldiers and could keep their heads better in the face of artillery bombardment. In fact their rudeness could actually be acting like a brake on their progress BUT because of there agressiveness, proactiveness, and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done (ends justify the means), the benefits of their agressiveness outweigh their rudeness. THink about how rude men end up with the hot women. Rude men tend to be jocks, tend to be more muscular, tend to be more confident, almost overconfident. Women may hate rudeness in men, but can put up with it because those types of men are also more sexy in appearance, more cofident, more protective, etc.

    • hicusdicus

Tall men in general are also more successful, more so than rude pushy men. It has also been shown that men pointing guns have a tendency to get their way.

      • Song

And short people supposedly live longer. What I always wonder about all of these “highly enlightening” studies is: “Who is paying for them????” BTW: Rude men, or the “bad guy” complex might be appealing to women for awhile, but how long do those relationship usually last? Exactly. As for Al Gore and the like, it is interesting to watch them implode when they don’t get there way! hahaha

        • iam

Song, I have noticed that most of the relationships last for years, because if the women try to leave, they are repeatedly beaten, so they are too terrified to make the final break.

          • Song

mmmm….yes, that is sad, but true. I guess a better question would be, what is the quality of those relationships?

  • hicusdicus

How could Al Gore lose his cool? Cool is something Al Gore has never been.

    • Palin12

because he’s the Bozo from the Ozone.

  • Thomas Avery Blair

I have no irrational hatred of Liberal Democrats, in fact I think every hard working, intelligent and patriotic American citizen should actually own one! :)

    • bob wire

poor stab at humor, care to try again?

    • Ted Crawford

From my perspective Thomas, the Liberal viewpoint is a useful, even necessary counterpoint. The problems arise because there are so few Liberals left! The Democrate Party has been, almost totally, hyjacked by the Progressives!

  • Palin12

Al Gore lives in a 20-bedroom mansion in Nashville, with a monthly elecric bill of $2,500….almost all of which is derived from fossil fuels. I wonder how much carbon footprint he leaves behind as he globetrots around the earth in his corporate jet.

Algore’s rant sort of reminded me of Alec Baldwin’s taped message of him screaming at his daughter…full of vile words and anger that amount to nothing.

    • Ted Crawford

When ones arguement has little merit and no substance, intimidation is all that’s left!

I have ordered 2 books through your company and never received either one.

Gore , Moore , Waters , These are all left wing kooks that belong in the same loony bin . There is not an I.Q. of pne among the lot . Yet they have all made a fortune catering to other kooks . This only tells me one thing , kooks have to much money in this country .

    • Song

yes, they do and they are also probably highly invested in wall street, Eddie, if you even get to this board…haha.

  • http://deleted Claire

I have heard hate speech and nastiness from both political parties. Neither party is without guilt when it comes to hateful diatribe.

  • coal miner

Is the Gore myth scientific fact or intellectual hokum? You be the judge.

GLOBAL WARMING – NATURAL DISASTERS INCREASE DON’T FORGET TO … Warm spells/heat waves: frequency … …greenhouse warming and other human alterations of the Earth …

    • bob wire

Oh! it’s coming. ~ but you are heaven bound anyway , bought your ticket already. We just don’t know departure time .

      Be sure to write!

      • Song

Of course something is coming bob wire. Change is ALWAYS coming. Nothing ever stays the same. So it was for the dinosaurs, so it will be again, and no amount of human intervention can stop it. Therein lies the arrogance of people like Al Gore who attempt to use alarmism to line their own pockets and affect political policy which will ultimately effect our pocket books and liberties without doing anything to alter the course of whatever end mother earth is eventually destined for. I, along with millions of others, for example, sit almost on top of one of earth’s largest caldera’s. Should that ever blow, goodbye life as we know it. No amount of politicking, rules or regulations are going to change that fact whatsoever!

  • Linda

AL GORE AND MAXINE WATERS are both prime examples of how power corrupts, and brings about true insanity.

  • Earl, QUEENS, NY

Of course we’ve heard about Algore’s ridiculous outbursts. He and his environmentalist wacko cronies are obviously frustrated that we are learning more about what kind of frauds they are!! ….. Speaking of outbursts and temper tantrums, I spent this Labor Day weekend in Connecticut, and watched the local news stations on TV. Congressperson Rosa Delauro (D – CT) was having a fit about the criticism of her vacation in Italy at a time of crisis – Hurricane Irene. She was also complaining about GW Bush. (Like her boss – BHO!!) Although I had lived in her district for awhile, I never voted for her or any other Democraps. It’s pathetic that CT voters continue to re-elect this woman, who seems to have the rudest manners and worst attitude of nay politician I know in CT. ….. Of course, the more I think about it, if she wants to go to Italy, then good!! She should also take Nasty Pelosi, et al, with her. Let them stay and live there, instead of trying to transform America into a similar European style socialist regime!!
