An Inviolable Respect For The Constitution And Laws

October 27, 2011 by

The imperial Presidency and its enabling Congress have long subverted the Constitution: the imperial President through executive orders and the appointment of czars that impose regulation through unConstitutional government agencies, the enabling Congress by legislating in matters that are not enumerated and by ceding its duties under Article I, Section 1, which says: “All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.”

The result is endless wars and a growing tyranny.

In an essay in the American Daily Advertiser, Alexander Hamilton succinctly summed up how best to preserve our liberty. He wrote:

If it be asked, What is the most sacred duty and the greatest source of our security in a Republic? The answer would be, An inviolable respect for the Constitution and Laws — the first growing out of the last. … A sacred respect for the constitutional law is the vital principle, the sustaining energy of a free government.

It’s easy to spot those of the elected class that don’t hold “An inviolable respect for the Constitution and Laws.” It is our duty as citizens to purge the government of them and install a new class that does.

At some point, Bob, when and if waiting for the wheels of justice to turn it becomes necessary to literally ‘purge’ the system, one of the options is to do to them that which they want to do to us, so to speak.
Some have the benefit of having the media in their back pockets. Some of them infest courts and law enforcement. It goes without saying that some are in the military.
In the end, since there is little difference between now and back in Washington’s day, I see no reason to look at our domestic enemies as anything less than that. They are our enemies. They are the enemies of freedom. At some point, it will become a matter of doing whatever it takes to ‘purge’ the system.

The first thing we need to do is get the Registered Socialist and Communist OUT of our government, how can they take an oath that says just the opposite of their beliefs. That alone should get them out of their office? The American people have learned to settle, when they should DEMAND the best reprensative for the office. We don’t hire a yard service that just cuts HALF our yard! Yet we vote in these officials that DON’T do their jobs at all, they are always being wined and dined by some lobbist, so they can sway their vote, AGAINST THE PEOPLE! We have to get involved, TODAY and EVERY DAY, Vote these worthless Socialist and Communist BUMS out of OUR OFFICES! And once they get fired NO HIGH DOLLAR RETIREMENT, let them work just like the real people in America and have the same retirement! Semper Fi.

I agree with your comment Vic.
It’s time we take our Country back!!!

  • Charles

We have allowed the Congress & the anointed President to stray way too far from the Constitution. We have been bought off by ‘entitlements’ and the Imperial one4 current reelection tour is doing more of the same today. Pandering to his base and to anyone else who’s vote can be bought. Paid for by our tax $. We need to purge them all and soon. Vote them out! Now!

Our government is in sad shape and the general public is ignoring what has happened. The first violation, where Obama is concerned, is electing him illegally as he holds a dual citizenship. Once he pulled that off – there were no holds barred. I have asked our state senators how this happened when it is unlawful. I do not get any answer.
Obama needs to go – as do the rest that are not taking care of Home.

The General Public is not being told what happens, because they watch the Liberal Media that covers it up. Word of mouth spreads faster. Get the word out.

Obama cannot be removed because he is the anti-christ and he is protected by the devil other wise someone would have taken him out.

It use to be AGAINST THE LAW for anyone wanting to overthrow the US Gov’t to run for office, hold office, or to ever walk free on the streets of the USA. One of the questions to questions to military applicants was do you “belong to any organization, or have any political affiliation, whose intent is to overthrow the US Gov’t?” Another was, do you belong to the “COMMMUNIST PARTY”? Both questions would exclude you from the military, if you answered yes.
    Joe McCarthy was right!

  • CP

IF Joe McCarthy was right, as Fred G states, then WHY did the strongest communist nation on earth fall flat on its face? If you disagreed with old Uncle Joe McCarthy, you were automatically a communist, as only a communist would dare tell him he was wrong. By the same token, if you said or did something he didn’t approve of, such as voting for a Democrat, you were a communist. I hear the same thing out of a lot of people here, if you aren’t me, then you are a communist, or a liberal, or some other thing I hate. Think about that, if you can still think and aren’t hung up on the all or nothing thing.

    • brjohnson

This question, if enforced, would prevent anyone from holding any public office or from the military regardless of religious affiliation.
It may have prevented the Fort Hood massacre. By the way, how did an overtly antiamerican get into our military and for that matter how did he get promoted to become a high ranking officer?

*****One of the questions to questions to military applicants was do you “belong to any organization, or have any political affiliation, whose intent is to overthrow the US Gov’t?****

Sounds like you already read the article that I am going to submit for the next sound off! and have read the one I wrote for the first one.

Would be interesting to see some of the comments from your staff on some of the reader’s submissions.

You mention executive orders, which you seem to think are bad. Apparently, you would deny the President control over his own branch of government. How, exactly, is that constitutional?

    • Morduin00

There is no provision for executive orders in the Constitution of the United States. The founders specifically required the President to seek the advice and consent of Congress with respect to any and all laws, appointments (unless provided by law), etc.

In actuality, the only powers the president has are: to be the commander in chief, to grant reprieves and pardons and to nominate “Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which
shall be established by Law” with the advice and consent of the Senate.

“Until the 1950s, there were no rules or guidelines outlining what the president could or could not do through an executive order. However, the Supreme Court ruled in Youngstown Sheet & Tube Co. v. Sawyer, 343 US 579 (1952) that Executive Order 10340 from President Harry S. Truman placing all steel mills in the country under federal control was invalid because it attempted to make law, rather than clarify or act to further a law put forth by the Congress or the Constitution.” –from Wikipedia on Executive Orders.

      Hope this helps.

My philosophy of government is quite simple. Any law, whether enacted by Congress, and signed by the President, or by Executive Order or by Judicial Decree, that punishes success, or rewards failure, is simply not within the ideals and desires of the founding fathers and is simply wrong-headed

      –In a nutshell… Amen.

  • Buck

As regards the current administration , what constitution ?

  • jim

A major part of the problem is that the process of voting is corrupted to the point of ‘they always get the one they want in office’.

  • Richard Britton

Getting back to Patti and Larry and discussion about ridding the White House of Obama, I see the reason why he is unfit as being that he was foreign raised and educated until he got into his teens. By then, his mind and goals had been corrupted. Once he got into office, he became safe because both the Senate and the House were Democratic. The fact that he is probably not a citizen seems less important to me than his upbringing and his animal nature derived from foreign influences.
Hopefully, the November 2012 election will take control of both houses of Congress away from the Democrats. Then if Obama gets re-elected, he can be properly impeached and sent to prison for signing off on selling arms to Mexican drug traffickers and willfully violating the Constitution in multiple ways.

    • rusty steel

or signing off on selling arms to Mexican drug traffickers??????Is there documentation on this?? if so where>>???

  • Janice Fortin

Ok. Bob we need you to spell it out. How do we purge and how do we install? Waiting 2 yrs for someone’s term to run out is way too long.
One thing we the people have long screamed for; WE WANT TERM LIMITS IN CONGRESS AND THE ELIMINATION OF CZARS. Reading the roles czars are to play is like reading How to be a traitor with the blessing of the president. Michelle Obama only has need for (l) assistant, as all her white predessors had. She can pay for the rest of her own $.

  • Lawrence Ekdahl

Our government should be purged but the last four generations minds have been indoctrinated in the schools to accept what is going on now.

  • bruce

What ever happened to “No one is above the law”? Even the secret service is employed and payed by the taxpayer. And as such, it behooves me why they don’t, or federal marshals, simply slap the cuffs on this criminal in the white house and take him into federal custody. Not for impeachment but for immediate prosecution. And without bail to boot. What a fantastic message that would send to all those other idiot politicians. But it does prove how americans have allowed the presidency to become criminalized.

  • Ron

Why can’t someone make a move against this maniac to remove him from office? I am surprised every time he makes a dictatorial move with no consequences! The czars and nothing! Taking extreme liberties and nothing? What is his protection?

The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground. History, in general, only informs us what bad government is. A wise and frugal government, which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor and bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government. Most bad government has grown out of too much government. The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not. I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them. Were we directed from Washington when to sow and when to reap, we should soon want bread. The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it. The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government. Thomas Jefferson 1776 The revolution has started !!!!
