Here is a collection of some of the stories that Personal Liberty staffers will be keeping an eye on throughout the day. Click the links for the full stories.

  • The government plan to buy up all of the ammo seems to be working as American citizens throughout the Nation are unable to find common calibers at local gun shops.
  • The largest Tea Party group in the Nation says an apology from the Internal Revenue Service for targeting conservative organizations isn’t enough. It wants a full Congressional investigation.
  • Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad probably won’t ever receive his requisite 74 lashes for violating electoral rules forbidding use of state resources in endorsing candidates. But the country’s electoral “watchdog group” is advocating for it.
  • The Brits are expanding their surveillance state by innovating a new program that will snoop Internet searches for topics surrounding HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases. Researchers will then hand the info to a government health agency that will use the data to determine where to ramp up public awareness campaigns for STD prevention.
