All You’ve Been Told About The Flu Is A Lie

September 17, 2012 by

All You’ve Been Told About The Flu Is A Lie

Winter is approaching, and with it another flu season and a new round of propaganda about the dire consequences of “catching” the flu.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) uses a manufactured number of 36,000 annual deaths from seasonal flu in order to scare the masses into accepting a harmful chemical cocktail, all to the benefit of Big Pharma and the medical community. But all you’ve been told about flu deaths and the flu vaccines — in fact, about vaccines in general — is a lie.

In December 2005, Peter Doshi published a report in the British Medical Journal (online) stating that “U.S. data on influenza deaths are a mess.” His research indicated the CDC uses the terms “flu death” and “flu associated death” interchangeably and that there were significant statistical incompatibilities between official estimates and national vital statistics data.

In fact, the CDC’s numbers are a combination of influenza and pneumonia deaths. But as David Rosenthal, director of Harvard University Health Services, said: “People don’t necessarily die, per se, of the [flu] virus—the viraemia. What they die of is a secondary pneumonia. So many of these pneumonias are not viral pneumonias but secondary [pneumonias].”

What Doshi found was that in 2001, influenza and pneumonia caused 62,034 deaths. Of those, 61,777 were attributed to pneumonia; only 257 were attributed to the flu. But in the 257 cases blamed on the flu, the flu virus was identified in only 18.

Doshi writes: “Between 1979 and 2001 [CDC] data show an average of 1,248 [flu] deaths per year (range 257 to 3,006).” This obviously is far less than the 36,000 figure used to frighten people into rushing to get a vaccination.

For a better idea of how vaccine-pushing researchers create numbers out of thin air, consider the recent announcement by an international team of researchers regarding deaths from the swine flu pandemic-that-wasn’t in 2009. According to the World Health Organization, 18,500 people died worldwide as a result of swine flu. That’s far short of the hundreds of thousands of deaths WHO warned about as the pandemic-that-wasn’t first began.

The researchers published a study in the Lancet Infectious Diseases journal claiming an estimated 284,500 to 575,400 actually died of the disease. It provided no autopsy data for its claim, nor did it explain how family members of those 265,500 to 526,400 people failed to miss them for three whole years or what happened to all the bodies.

In addition to the inflated figures about the dangers of seasonal flu, the CDC also fails to mention that seasonal flu vaccines are ineffective 99 percent of the time. Two years ago, I wrote about a report by the independent research firm The Cochrane Library (TCL) that blew a big hole in the CDC/Big Pharma vaccine lie. Now, The Lancet has published a report that echoes TCL’s report.

It showed that 2.7 percent of 13,000 unvaccinated adults caught the flu virus, while 1.2 percent of 13,000 vaccinated adults caught the virus. That means that the vaccine prevented only 1.5 of every 100 adults from getting sick.

Researchers also found that:

  • The vaccine had no effect on hospital admissions or complication rates.
  • Vaccine use did not affect the number of people hospitalized or working days lost.
  • Reliable evidence on vaccine efficacy is thin, but there is evidence of widespread manipulation of conclusions (in fact, TCL’s report is based mostly on pharmaceutical company-sponsored research that, when analyzed, still showed the vaccines didn’t work as claimed).
  • Vaccines do not affect the transmission of disease, even though their stated purpose is to reduce transmission of disease.
  • In average conditions (which means a partially matching vaccine) and because the WHO has to guess which strain of flu will be most prevalent in the coming year, 100 people must be vaccinated to prevent one set of flu symptoms.

The CDC — as well as doctors and pharmacies, which get kickbacks on the vaccines and drugs they administer — also fails to divulge what harmful additives are found in vaccines and the side effects that can result.

Flu vaccines contain aluminum, formaldehyde and thimerosal. Side effects of the vaccines include narcolepsy, Guillain-Barre Syndrome and autism, plus a worsening of the flu’s affects. British Columbia Centre for Disease Control researcher Dr. Danuta Skowronski conducted a trial study with 32 ferrets that showed that the symptoms in vaccinated animals were worse than those in unvaccinated animals.

“The findings were consistent with the increased risk that we saw in the human studies,” Skowronski said.

Aluminum is added to vaccines to act as an immune adjuvant, which enhances the immune response — and thus boosts the immune system — or to make it react as intensely as possible for as long as possible. But aluminum has been linked to Parkinson’s disease, ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and Alzheimer’s disease. Researchers have also found that vaccinations with aluminum-containing adjuvants could trigger the cascade of immunological events associated with autoimmune conditions, including chronic fatigue syndrome and macrophagic myofasciitis, a condition that resembles multiple sclerosis.

Formaldehyde is used to kill and preserve bacterial toxins and make viruses unable to replicate or reproduce themselves. It is listed as a carcinogen by government scientists and warnings are issued about formaldehyde exposure from fumes emanating from plywood and particle board and for workers exposed to it in funeral homes and hair salons. But formaldehyde and its chemical kin, formalin, is present in most vaccines.

Thimerosal is a preservative that allows vaccine makers to distribute their vaccines in multi-dose vials. Thimerosal contains 49.6 percent mercury by weight. But mercury is classified as a hazardous material that could cause death if swallowed, inhaled or absorbed through the skin. Mercury tends to accumulate in the brain; and it has been linked to cardiovascular disease, autism, seizures, mental retardation, hyperactivity, dyslexia and other nervous-system disorders.

And while doctors readily try to force — or at least coerce — vaccinations on their patients, half of them reject vaccinations for themselves because of concerns the vaccines may harm their health.

Of course, Big Pharma no longer has to concern itself about the health effects of its vaccines. Lawmakers have exempted them from liability, and the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled the laws shield vaccine makers from product-liability lawsuits that are filed in State courts and seek damages for injuries or death attributed to vaccines.

There is a much safer way to keep yourself disease-free. Take vitamin D3 (I take 30,000 IU daily and give my wife 20,000 IU) daily. It is a potent neuroregulatory steroidal hormone that influences nearly 3,000 of our 25,000 genes.

Besides, the germ theory of disease — that we “catch” the flu and other diseases by being exposed to people who are “contagious” — is a foolish hoax created by Louis Pasteur. Disease comes from within the body when it is overly fatigued with excess stress, toxins and malnutrition.

No-liability – why should they care about quality, side effects or other complication…like sterility or exposure to disease or accidental contamination.

      “FreedomFighter,” GREAT COMMENTS.

Totally agree. Just one more reason not to get the annual flu shot.

I have made sure no one in my family (kids, grandparents, etc) gets the shot for the past several years. None of us have died yet and in fact many years do not get the flu at all. On contrary, most years we got the shots we all got sick following getting the shot.

I see no reason for getting the flu shot. We all pass.

      • Cheryl

My brother-in-law was given the flu and pneumonia shots together one year and became suddenly very sick. Three days later he he died at home in bed after the clinic couldn’t find what was wrong with him. Also, a lady I worked with many years ago had the flu shot and became so sick she missed several weeks of work and still could hardly speak after returning to work. I have never had a flu shot and don’t ever plan to.

I have nevea flu shot and I never get colds mush less the flu. I also think the vaccines children get should be updated, as both parents and most of the grand parents have had these shots. To me it seems this stuff is pasted on and on and could accummulate to be too much after so many generations pass it on.

      Superb, FF!!!

    • Old Henry

I got a flu shot at work back in 1979 – my first and only. I got real sick and missed one day of work, should have missed three. Never again.

    • rcrain

My doctor at the VA was harping on me about getting the flu shot. I told him it was made by the lowest bidder, in a country that hates Americans, and they have no responsibility to answer to anyone, so why would anyone in their right mind get it? He told me he wished he had talked to me earlier, as he got his that very morning. He has never pushed that shot again that I know of!

    • Janice Williams

My husband and myself haven’t taken flu shots since before 1975. We are healthy and active and have not had the flu in years. The last time I can remember getting the flu was in 1965. At that time 4 out of 5 of our family got it. My husband is alleric to the eggs whice is what they use to raise the vacine.

    • RealitySux

Read up on Alka Seltzer (or generic).. There is a side effect they didn’t count for and don’t advertise. When I was growing up my family took two at least four times a week (more during cold season and rarely came down with flu or even cold symptoms) For those who are aspirin intolerant just leave the residue on the bottom of the glass. But don’t take my word.. Investigate. I read this several years ago (that it’s a side effect) but since Alka Seltzer plus cold medication, I can’t seem to find it now.

  • Jeremy Leochner

I would like to point out vaccines and autism are not connected. So there is at least one less thing to fear from vaccines. Vaccines like any thing can be overdone. And like any medicine created by man can carry risks and side effects. I do not believe vaccines are evil. They should be regulated though.

    • FreedomFighter

When you are paranoid, you start looking around, reading history, learning all you can, you then find out you are not paranoid enough.

      Its all about the money.

      • Jeremy Leochner

Perhaps. But if I may counter Freedom Fighter. If some one is paranoid and starts to read history as you say it logically follows that their view of history will be based on paranoia. Its sort of like forming a theory and then looking through the evidence. The problem with that is as Sherlock Holmes said “Inevitably one begins to twist evidence to fit theories instead of theories to fit evidence.” Vaccines like I said are a form of medicine. They can be dangerous but if used properly they can be successful. My grandmother often tells me how important it was for her to get her vaccines and for my dad and aunt. All three of them turned out fine. And according to my grandmother the vaccines helped quite a bit. I am not saying that vaccines are perfect. I just believe the phrase “All You’ve Been Told About The Flu Is A Lie” is a bit of a stretch. And I believe stretching the truth does little good. It is more likely to be counter productive.

      • JC

Except that people generally don’t formulate theories out of thin air and then go looking for evidence to back it up. People become suspicious when given clues and from their own observations. Then they do some digging…that’s not paranoia, that’s detective work.

      • Sandy

        Hi Jeremy,
You Say, “Its sort of like forming a theory and then looking through the evidence.” This is how all of science does research. The scientific method starts with a theory/hypothesis then does some research to prove or disprove it.

      • Chester

Sandy, in order to prove a theorem, you not only have to go through past evidence, but you must show fresh research with repeatable results. That doesn’t mean go back through the books again and again, but start in from scratch with a different bunch of people and actually get repeatable results. In other words, some other scientist who doesn’t necessarily agree with you has to be able to take your research and repeat what you have done and get the SAME results. I noticed the author blamed a lot of the deaths on pneumonia, but how did the pneumonia get its toehold in the victim’s system? Your immune system being geared up and running all out fighting the flu gives the pneumonia bacteria, if bacterial pneumonia was the cause of death, a chance to take hold in your lungs.

      • Jeremy Leochner

JC: I was basing my comment on freedom fighters. Freedom fighters comment appeared to be based on the idea of being paranoid and then looking through history and confirming ones paranoia. One may find some evidence to justify paranoia. However evidence against ones paranoia is also possible. The problem with paranoia is it shuts down ones reason if allowed to go to far. If one gets to caught up in paranoia one can begin to believe that any evidence that is contrary to what they believe is something that is just being falsified in order to trick them. When in reality they may in fact be wrong. There is always two sides to a story. The problem with paranoia is it rarely allows one to listen to both.

Sandy: I will grant that. However science is founded on forming theories and then proving or disproving them. As such the foundation of science is about changing theories if the evidence does not fit the theory. Science is not about fitting evidence to a theory. Paranoia on the other hand is all about fitting evidence to a theory. Science is about observation and experimentation using method and numerous resources. Paranoia is often about simply ones own beliefs and trying to validate it by searching through what simple agrees with what one already believes. Science is about dealing with evidence that is contrary to what one theorizes. Paranoia is about declaring contrary evidence to be nothing more than a lie or a delusion.

I haven’t had a shot in over 10 yrs and haven’t had the Flu even once. The secret is to keep your Immune System healthy. I take Turmeric with black pepper and/or Curry. Also, eat lots of veggies. Things that have lots of Vit. C. If somehow things get me down a little (stress overload, phy. labor, etc.) and I feel something possibly coming on, I’ll take Liposomal Vit. C. and it will clear up within 8-10 hrs. No Flus, Colds, nor even a headache! My spouse was always skeptical until she saw me never getting sick even tho’ she’d bring home all kinds of ailments. Now she’s as healthy as I am as she started doing my thing.

      • DaveH

Jeremy (aka Flashman) says — “If some one is paranoid and starts to read history as you say it logically follows that their view of history will be based on paranoia”.
Nice attempt at manipulation, Jeremy (aka Flashman). The problem is that the people who fall for your kind of manipulation aren’t smart enough to grasp the concepts of Freedom anyway.

Jeremy (aka Flashman) says — “My grandmother often tells me how important it was for her to get her vaccines and for my dad and aunt. All three of them turned out fine. And according to my grandmother the vaccines helped quite a bit”.
Is that it, Jeremy (aka Flashman)? Your relatives didn’t suffer any ill, so that proves that vaccines aren’t harmful? How could your Grandma possibly know that the vaccines helped her, since she didn’t have the experience of a parallel life in which she didn’t have the vaccinations?
I think my 12-year-old Grandson could do better than that.

      • Old Henry

Another thing you can do rocquedog is to check your body’s pH on a regular basis to make sure it is in an alkalyn state. Illnes cannot exist in an alkalyn environment.

      • Jeremy Leochner

        Hie Dave.

Once again just Jeremy. In regards to your first comment I will say this. I am not trying to manipulate anyone. You may wish to read this other like comment I posted a little further down. “The problem with paranoia is it shuts down ones reason if allowed to go to far. If one gets too caught up in paranoia one can begin to believe that any evidence that is
contrary to what they believe is something that is just being falsified in order to trick them.”

Second: My grandmother always made my dad and aunt get their shots and vaccines. She tells me constantly about the times when they would get sick when they did not get their vaccinations. For my grandmother it was better safe then sorry. And she said that when they got their vaccinations they did not contract the disease that the vaccination was intended to protect them from. No way to know if they would have gotten it without the vaccine. But it appears the vaccine helped them. Sometimes what you see is what you get.

    • Bob Livingston

      Dear Jeremy Leochner,

You write: “I would like to point out vaccines and autism are not connected.” Please provide proof of this claim.

      Best wishes,

      • nc

Mr. Livingston. you asked Jeremy for proof of his statement concerning vaccines and autism! I, too, have read of those same findings published by medical personell.
My question is how much time did you spend in the lab to reach your conclusions about flu and lies?? Or did that come from other sources! Like a mind set that vaccines come from government, all government is bad, therefore all vaccines must be bad! Really!

      • Richard Pawley

Bob, don’t you understand. The government says so. Doesn’t that make it so? I had a shot in 1970 for something when I got my first passport. It seems I was given another shot in the 1980′s for something but now I know better. I’m not saying that I would never have a vaccine but the key to good health is to keep your immune system up and to keep away from contagious people in case your immune system is not all you thought it was. You have probably seen the news that seven people have died in the NIH hospital in Bethesda that was somehow become infected last year by a person who had the untreatable disease that antibiotics and shots can’t stop. Now others coming there for different things are getting it. Not many thank God but hospitals and doctor’s offices are places where many diseases are spread. 100,000 people a year get sick in this country just visiting friends in the hospital. I did visit a doctor a decade ago but I haven’t been in a hospital since the 1980′s. My mom and dad passed away two years ago, a month apart.
She was just under 92 and he was 97. Mom often told me that when she was growing up hospitals were where you went to die.

Oh, yes, I have had flu twice since 1970. Once because I used a public office computer and forgot to wash my hands (they are 100 times more contaminated than office toilets) and then the four day H1N1 (apparently). I say apparently because I did not go to
a doctor but spent four days in bed and that was when I increased my vitamin C to 1.5 grams a day and my Vitamin D-3 to 15,000 IU beginning in months with reduced sunlight – September to April where I live. I was surprised at the amount you are taking but the 10,000 IU I had been was not enough to keep me from getting H1N1 but I was fine within four days. Perhaps I should increase what I take myself. I do cut back in April to September to 2,400 IU but then I sit in the mid-day sun for my lunch in shorts and short sleeves on most days when the sun is shining. How long have you been taking 30,000 IU?

      • Robert Smith

How’s this for a clear statement, Mr. Livingston?: “After a close review of more than 1,000 research studies, a federal panel of experts has concluded that vaccines cause very few side effects, and found no evidence that vaccines cause autism or type 1 diabetes.”

        That’s from:

BTW, from that same page: “Andrew Wakefield’s 1998 MMR study, originally published and then retracted by the Lancet, has been called an “elaborate fraud” by the British Medical Journal (BMJ) after a lengthy investigation. BMJ concluded Dr. Andrew Wakefield misrepresented or altered the medical histories of all 12 of the patients whose cases formed the basis of the 1998 study — and that there was “no doubt” Wakefield was responsible.”

      • JC

A “Federal panel of Experts” Robert? Gee that sure sounds credible. Would these “experts” have any vested interest in the outcome? Who are these “Federal Experts” anyway? That’s rich! But of course if YOU say so….lmao

While I have been a subscriber for a long time, with your statement here, I’ll look for the unsubscribe when I get done with this.

          Dear Bill,

You write: “While I have been a subscriber for a long time, with your statement here, I’ll look for the unsubscribe when I get done with this.” If you have been “a subscriber for a long time” as you say, then you have seen me write on this subject before. Why are you just now choosing to run from the truth?

          Best wishes,

      • Robert Smith

Mr. Livingston this guy has been discredited in so many ways… BTW, did you notice the commonality of the sites that are “supporting” him using the same phrasing? Looks to me like they are perpetuating the fraud to line the pockets of lawyers.

Check this out: “Even more damning is learning Wakefield was being paid before and during the study for advising lawyers on a lawsuit against the makers of the MMR vaccine. At the time he entered the children into his study, their parents were already clients of the lawyers paying him. Eventually they paid him nearly seven hundred thousand dollars.”

BTW, I can see germs and such under a microscope. I believe what I see.

      • Jeremy Leochner

Because I am autistic Mr. Livingston. I was diagnosed with Autism when I was an infant. Unless my mother had a vaccine shoved into her stomach I highly doubt it caused my development to be effected. Autism is an issue involving the wiring of the brain. A person with Autism has a brain with wiring that is different from someone who is not Autistic. As evidence I can offer the study described -

Chemicals like Mercury do not rewire the brain. They damage and degenerate the brain. Wires plugged into the wrong plug is not the same as a wire that is cut or damaged. Autism does not stem from a damaged brain. It stems from a brain that is wired differently. I know this because its what I live with every single day. And I have had it all my life. My parents describe my development and how doctors examined me when I was a toddler and made the diagnosis. And in case you wonder, no I was not being given vaccinations at the time. My Autism had nothing to do with vaccinations. As such I find it difficult to believe that some one can be given autism by having a vaccination.

      • Horace

This comment goes to all other commentators above! I personally have a DOCTOR friend who does not practice Western medicine in any regard due to the facts he has uncovered regarding the majority of all medicines approved by FDA. He personally showed me proof how all vaccines, even ones given to children for admission into school, cause illnesses & deaths due to what is in those vaccines that are extremely harmful to human beings. It is my opinion the government wants everyone to be on some kind of prescription, take all vaccines & scare you regarding West Nile Virus (which was probably created by them) so you brain cannot utilize its proper frequency. You then will think like the government wants you to think & they can control you. If you do your research the facts prove any type of medicine inhibits brain frequency ability. When that happens you cannot think with your full capacity & can easily be deterred from what could be best for you.

      • Jeremy Leochner

I want to apologize for any rude comments Mr.Livingston. Because I am Autistic it is a particularly sensitive issue. I wish to point out I never said nor do I believe that you said that vaccines are the sole cause of Autism. What I was trying to say is I believe that vaccinations play no role in Autism. I believe Autism is something you are born with as I was. And I believe it is not something that can be cured. Nor do I believe it is something that should be cured. Autism is not a weakness or something to be ashamed of. It is who one is. In regards to vaccines. I was given my vaccines. However I believe they played no part in who I am. I have always eaten healthy and done numerous things to care for my body. Parents who say their children were given Autism by vaccinations have done the same things to their children to detox them and improve their physical health that I did. However I never recovered from my Autism. I believe that Autism is not something that can be recovered from. In regards to your suggestion of me advocating a straw man argument with respect I believe that you and all who suggest vaccinations play a role in Autism are the ones pushing a straw man argument. Autism is part of who I am and it made me what I am today. I and I believe my friends and family consider me to be a good person and they care for every bit of who I am, both the Autistic and Non Autistic parts. When anyone says that vaccinations can trigger or cause Autism I feel personally insulted. Because it suggests that who I am is somehow degenerative. That what I am can be attributed in any way to damage done to the brain. The only negative that can come from vaccines is damage from chemicals. Autism is not caused by damage. As such it logically follows that vaccinations can play no role in causing or triggering Autism.

        • Bob Livingston

          Dear Jeremy Leochner,

You write: “I want to apologize for any rude comments Mr.Livingston.” No apology necessary. I did not think your comments rude.

You write: “Because I am Autistic it is a particularly sensitive issue.” I understand why that would be the case.

You write: ” I wish to point out I never said nor do I believe that you said that vaccines are the sole cause of Autism.” That was the implication, but I accept your explanation.

You write: “What I was trying to say is I believe that vaccinations play no role in Autism. I believe Autism is something you are born with as I was.” I accept that that is your belief. However, I don’t find it a logical belief when one looks at the evidence.

You write: “Autism is not a weakness or something to be ashamed of.” You are correct.

You write: “I believe that Autism is not something that can be recovered from.” No cure has been found that I’m aware of. However, there are some treatments that have shown good results. You mentioned detox. This one of them.

You write: ” I believe my friends and family consider me to be a good person and they care for every bit of who I am, both the Autistic and Non Autistic parts. When anyone says that vaccinations can trigger or cause Autism I feel personally insulted. Because it suggests that who I am is somehow degenerative.” I’m sure they do consider you a good person and love you for who you are. That is human nature. You should not, however, feel insulted by someone suggesting the cause of your autism might be something other than heredity or “luck of the draw” but is instead caused by a post-birth inoculation or some other external factor. Especially if that person is trying educate others about the dangers involved in vaccinations. You cannot deny that an increase in the number of autism cases is attributable to some factor. It is up 78% in the last decade according to CDC figures, and probably much higher.

You write: “The only negative that can come from vaccines is damage from chemicals. Autism is not caused by damage. As such it logically follows that vaccinations can play no role in causing or triggering Autism.” You cannot definitively say this. You can believe it, but you can’t verify it factually.

          Best wishes,

      • Jeremy Leochner

I can respect your position Mr. Livingston. In regards to the increase in the number of Autistic children I have no real answer. And I can certainly concede that what I say is my opinion. I would like to offer that a large amount of the medical community also believes that there is not a connection between vaccinations and Autism. I admit popularity does not equal fact. But it does not hurt when its doctors and medical experts.

Perhaps I have been to pedantic about the Autism issue. Mr. Livingston I am no medical expert. If mercury is in certain vaccines I can only assume that vaccines can be dangerous. I believe all medicines need to be watched and regulated. Maybe the reason I disagreed so much was for me your article seemed to imply a greater degree of danger from vaccines then I believe there is. That vaccines should not be regulated, they should be ignored or gotten rid of. I know you did not say that but just as what I said implied something to you so yours implied to me. One thing I think we can both agree on is vaccines can do great harm. We may disagree on the types of harm but at least we can agree on something.

First of all this is my personal opinion based on observation and what i have read on the subject.

Mr Livingston and Jeremy Leochner I do not believe there is a direct cause and effect between vaccines and Autism and related issues. However, I do believe certain people have a genetic propensity for Autism and related issues and vaccines can “switch on” that propensity. I also think if a woman smokes pot regularly right before she becomes pregnant or during her pregnancy it can “switch on” that propensity and I am sure there are other triggers for doing that as well.

      • rcrain

In reply to Jeremy Leocher, I just wanted to say that when your grand parents got their vaccinations before the 60~s, vaccines were made in the good ol USA. They were trusted. Ever since vaccines were made by the lowest bidder, in countries that despise us, we have to be real fools to inject that junk into our bodies year after year. They are killing a lot of us every year, and I see people standing in long lines to get a shot that will most likely harm them, or worse kill them. PEOPLE NEED TO THINK!!

    • ArkansasRebel

I had a health official from South Africa tell me that in their country they have virtually eliminated autism. When I asked how she said that they don’t allow the preservative that we allow in vaccines in the U.S. It may well be that the statistics we are given about vaccines not being responsible for autism are also badly flawed.

I have a good friend who’s child (who had been seemingly normal before) had been diagnosed with autism. This occurred shortly after receiving a series of childhood vaccines. He has since recovered & is no longer autistic. Go figure.

      • JC

I have 3 friends who’s children were seemingly normal before their first vaccination. Now they are not normal and never will be again.

      • Operation mind crime

It’s the thimerosal in the vaccine. It’s banned in many parts of the world but yet in the USA we allow it. It’s the mercury. You can ask for a vaccine without it. They make different kinds. I have all of the inserts for all the shots and vaccines given by my sons doc.
I don’t like him getting them but since my wife works there she thinks it’s ok. She doesn’t understand that doctors will pretty much pump patients with anything they say if big drug co.says its ok.
Big drug co. Makes a killing off sick people. Doctors like it or not add to this money problem.

      • JC

        Operation MC…
My wife made a similar observation…”There’s no money in dead people and ther’s no money in healthy people” So they do their best to keep as half sick all the time.

      • Jeremy Leochner

If they recovered then what they had was not autism. You cannot recover from autism. You can only learn to deal with and cover up the symptoms.

      • moonbeam

Operation mind crime – who wears the pants in your house, you or your wife? Maybe you need to tell her how the mercury in those shots is toxic and settles in the brain. Alzheimers anyone?

    • Laura Lewars

I disagree. There is no research done that has not been paid for by drug companies that says vaccinations are not connected to autism. There is however an Italian study done that shows a direct link.

      dr Laura

    • RevNowWhileWeCan

      Jeremy Leochner,
There is an OVER abundance of evidence to suggest that they is a direct correlation with vaccinations and Autism. I have yet to see an independent study that says otherwise and I’ve looked.
Also be very weary of news sources claiming that there is “no evidence to support links between vaccines and Autism” because I’ve also looked at some that claim to be “independent” and this is what I found. Serious conflict of interest and conveniently left out of reports. These are drug pushers who answer to share holders, not mad or grieving parents.
Just like any corrupt business. Follow the money and you’ll find the criminals. They don’t have ANY fear because if you get sick or die, sorry, you can’t sue. They’re protected by their criminal friends.

    • RevNowWhileWeCan

Any reasonable person cannot look at these statistics and honestly say there is “no link between vaccines and Autism”.
BTW as of 2012 Autism diagnosis’ are up to about 1 in 80. Not surprisingly, so are the number of vaccinations.

    • DaveH

Jeremy (aka Flashman) says — “I do not believe vaccines are evil”.
I’m not so sure about you, Jeremy (aka Flashman).

      • Karolyn

Dave – FYI -Jeremy really is Jeremy. Please take my word for it.

      • DaveH

You are joking, Karolyn, aren’t you?
Jeremy dropped off the radar for a long time after Bob exposed him as one of many personalities including HFlashman (aka Flashy). Then many months later he got brazen enough to try again.
You know the drill. Follow the thread to Bob’s comments:

By the way, Karolyn, how would you know if he was or wasn’t? Are you part of the same gang?

      • Jeremy Leochner

Actually Dave your sort of half right. I felt that no one was willing to have a conversation and as a result I spent all my time trying to convince people I was who I said I was. Plus life was kind of hectic so I had less time to spend on the computer. I suppose I am just a glutton for punishment though. And at times I feel I can actually learn about the issues when I am here. So I came back.

      • DaveH

you can kid others. Maybe you can even kid yourself. But you can’t kid me. So save your breath.

    • bychoosing

Jeremy says: I would like to point out vaccines and autism are not connected.

How did you confirm this, Jeremy?

      • Jeremy Leochner

Because my brain is not damaged. I know, I have had scans on my brain. Vaccines damage the brain. Since I am autistic and my autism has nothing to do with brain damage I can only deduce that brain damage does not cause autism. As such vaccines do not cause autism. Vaccines cause brain damage. Brain damage does not cause autism. Vaccines do not cause autism.

      • DaveH

That is the biggest load of fallacious argument that I’ve read today, Jeremy (aka Flashman). You should bottle that. It would make great fertilizer for the home gardener.

      • DaveH

        Line by line:
Jeremy says — “Because my brain is not damaged. I know, I have had scans on my brain”.
Meaningless sentences, Jeremy, since they relate to personal experience of which we have no proof.

Then Jeremy says — “Vaccines damage the brain”.
A claimed fact with no evidence.

Then Jeremy says — “Since I am autistic and my autism has nothing to do with brain damage I can only deduce that brain damage does not cause autism”.
You can deduce that from one personal experience (assuming it is even true)?

Then Jeremy says — “As such vaccines do not cause autism”.
Oh please, Jeremy, what you’ve proved is simply that you can present obtuse circular reasoning.

Then Jeremy says — “Vaccines cause brain damage. Brain damage does not cause autism. Vaccines do not cause autism”.
A veritable repeat of that which Jeremy has already said. Do you think, Jeremy, that repeating something over and over somehow makes it valid?

      • Jeremy Leochner

Got me there Dave I admit I am a tad repetitive. Here’s all I have to offer. I feel that since I am autistic I am some what qualified to speak on the subject. According to my parents the signs of my autism appeared when I was just a toddler. I sincerely believe that a person is born autistic. As such I cannot believe that vaccines can cause it. Unless somehow they can rewire the brain. I have never heard of such a thing. If such a thing was possible I would think that they would have cures for everything from Alzheimer’s to Epilepsy. However they do not. The brain cannot be rewired by a chemical. A chemical can only affect other chemicals. Since vaccines are chemicals it seems logical to me that they effect chemical levels in the body. And as such the only damage they can do is the damage that can result from chemicals that cause damage to the body. I do not see how chemicals can be the cause of my autism when I have always been the way I am even when I have eaten healthy and not gotten vaccinations. I have not had a shot or vaccination in several years. However I am still autistic. Yes it is just my personal experience. But that really is all I can speak from. I believe that people can develop mental problems from having vaccinations. However I believe autism is not one of them. There may be symptoms like the symptoms of autism. But like and same are not equal. I am sorry if I sound repetitive but this is something I strongly believe in. I do not believe that repeating what I say makes what I say true. I believe that what I say is true.

      • independent thinker

” According to my parents the signs of my autism appeared when I was just a toddler. ”

Jeremy, first see my 12:44 AM post. Second You were most likely given the DPT vaccine and possible more within days if not hours of your birth.

    • Carol J

Bob left out another thing about the flu vaccine. It is incubated in chicken eggs so any person allergic to chicken eggs is at risk. I’ve never had a flu shot and never will.
When my brother was working in a nursing home all the staff were required to get the shot. He told them he didn’t want it, but was told if he didn’t he would be fired. He was sick for almost a week, but his boss was even sicker. Out for 2 weeks.
My son was required to have the measles vaccine. He was so sick he spent 3 days in the hospital. THEN——-he contracted measles anyway.
By the way, the last time I had the flu was April, 1958.

    • Wineman

Wrong, autism has skyrocketed ever since our children started receiving all these vaccines (which we never got as children). Autism has the same symptoms as mercury poisoning, which occurs from the thimerosol in the large number of vaccines. There is a higher concentration of mercury in thimerosol containing vaccines than in toxic waste. Wake up folks.

      • Jeff

Never give your child more than one vaccination at a time. Space them out. It’s the “shotgun” vaccinations that have been linked to autism.

    • T. L. Baker

Seriously Christopher? You think you have a complaint now….just wait until ØBAMA-Care is fully implemented.

Look clearly at the 2014 rate compared to the 2013 rate.

For those of you who are on Medicare, read the following. It’s short, but
important and you probably haven’t heard about it in the Mainstream News:

“The per person Medicare Insurance Premium will increase from the present
Monthly Fee of $96.40, rising to:

        $104.20 in 2012

        $120.20 in 2013

        $247.00 in 2014.”

These are Provisions incorporated in the Obamacare Legislation, purposely delayed so as not to confuse the 2012 Re-Election Campaigns. Send this to all Seniors that you know, so they will know who’s throwing them under the bus.

      • Jeff

Yes, all suspected Republicans will be injected with a truth serum that will cause a chain reaction resulting in death. You people are insane.

      • Robert Smith

Anthony has given us another FALSE Urban Myth. Remember “$247.00 in 2014.”

        Absolutely FALSE.

        Go to:
        rmediate estimates:

        2012 106.60
        2013 110.50
        2014 115.80
        2015 120.80
        2016 126.00

        That’s on page 218.

        When will the lies stop?

      • Vicki

Robert Smith should improve on his sources

From the horses mouth as they say
        Part A monthly premium
(for people who pay a premium) $451

        Part A Late Enrollment Penalty
Part B monthly premium $99.90 Higher-income consumers may pay more.

        Part B Late Enrollment Penalty

+10% for each full 12-month period that you could have had Part B, but didn’t sign up for it

So as you see non of the numbers match reality and with the “higher-income consumers may pay more” clause ANY of the numbers might match reality for one specific case.

Meantime note that you are severely penalized for not signing up for nanny’s services in a timely fashion.

    • Karolyn

Chris – Poor people are capable of learning, are they not? They just choose the easy way of just accepting everything the “god” doctor says. I am appalled at the ignorance of the poor as well as the not-so-poor. People need to take charge of their own health so we don’t have this “sick-care’ problem in this country, and world. I do my best to educate people I speak with; however, it’s just easier to go along.

      • Karolyn

It is up to those of us who are computer literate to educate the elderly. Unfortunately, a great many computer literate people are more interested in Facebook and porno than in health.

      • DaveH

It’s too bad you don’t use some of your “literacy” to do some studying, Karolyn, and figure out that Big Government is just taking advantage on the rest of us. Here would be a good start:

      • Karolyn

Dave – Not enough hours in the day. I have homework out the wazoo and books piled up waiting for me to read. So much to do, too little time.

      • DaveH

Yet you have plenty of time to put in your two-cents worth on this board.

  • Sirian

Haven’t taken a flu shot in years and haven’t had the flu since. Used to always come down with it after getting a flu shot. If you are convinced that the vaccines are good for you, go right ahead, have at it. If you’ve come to your senses – welcome home to the land of the free!! :)

    • JC

I have never once had a flu shot. And I haven’t had the flu in probably 13 years.

      • Horace

I’ve never had a flu shot, will never take a flu shot & have never had the flu & I am 67 years of age. I go into places where people are extremely sick with it & I never get it. To stay perfectly well all the time, you might consider Young Living Pure Essential Oils. They do the trick.

        • Jeff

Dumb luck doesn’t hurt either. Some people smoke 3 packs a day and drink a quart of whiskey every day and live to be 90, too.

      • JC

Jeff, it’s actually funny that you say that. I smoke about a half pack a day, but I don’t drink.
My Doctor asked me how I was doing and I said great, I never get sick. He said that’s because I smoke…apparently my immune system is kicked into overdrive all the time.
This did not give me any incentive to quit! ;-)

    • Chester

Well, someone is wrong here, and my vote for that award goes to Mr. Livingston. Once in a while he gets lucky and manages to get all his ducks in a row, but missed on this one by not merely a mile, but more like a hundred miles. According to the statics he uses, I should be dead and buried by now, considering the life I have lived, but a flu shot every year for the last twenty has done me no harm, and from what I have seen going on among those who didn’t take the shot, it has done me a world of good, No flu, no problems other than once in a while a sore arm after getting the shot, and NO pneumonia of any sort. For sure I spent fifteen of those years in places where if anything went around, everyone was exposed to it.

      • Karolyn

Chester – Of course, not everyone is the same. Some have genetic predispositions to certain diseases. However, why put even more chemicals into the body? We get enough from the air and the crap in our foods. Why are so many more kids sick with things nobody got when we were kids? It’s all a big scam! Illness pays big-time. Even the recent report that organic food is no better than regular. The report was created by people beholden to Big Business, like the almighty Monsanto. BTW – Today is anti-Monsanto day!

      • DaveH

Chester I’ve rarely seen you get your ducks in a row, so why should anybody listen to you?
Chester says — “a flu shot every year for the last twenty has done me no harm, and from what I have seen going on among those who didn’t take the shot, it has done me a world of good, No flu, no problems other than once in a while a sore arm after getting the shot, and NO pneumonia of any sort”.
I’ve had the opposite experience. I’ve never had a flu shot, and haven’t had the flu in 15 years. Does that very small sample size of either one of us prove anything? Of course not.

    • LC

Received vaccines as a child, not sure about requirement then or if I was kept up to date, however, never as an adult. Have only had the flu twice in thirty years.

  • Jamie Cameron

My Best friend was 54 a English Lit.Collage Prof. with 2BA,and a 1MFA degrees He chose to get a flu shot asked if i wanted to get one as well ,I told him about the Fatal effects before he drove to get it,He died 9months later of Pneumonia,Conjestive heart, even his lost his mind as well He could not write a sentence. meaning big pharma killed him and got away with it.RIP Edward .

    • nc

Jamie, where are John Edwards and the other excellant trial lawyers when you need them? Bet your butt that if big pharma was at fault they would have made them pay for their mistakes! We have to pay for ours so why should they not pay! Doctors included!

      • Richard Pawley

Congress passed a law (in 1976 I believe) that exempts them from liability if their vaccines are no good, and that is why you are somewhat on your own when it comes to medicine in this country. Doctors and scientists cannot even publicly oppose things they know to be bad or they can lose their tenure or their licenses. I have friends and relatives who have been “killed” by their doctors who were either mistaken or incompetent and some who were ‘surprised’ and saddened by what happened to one. They too (in some instances) are victims of the system.

        • Bob Livingston

          Dear moonbeam,

You are wasting your time. He has been told this on multiple occasions.

  • KG

Did you know that there is a deadly substance in your home?
The government lets children play in it, and yet it kills thousands of people every year?
In fact, there are NO GOVERNMENT rules preventing people from having it or giving it to children.

Its scientific name is Hydrogen Dioxide.

    Also named “water.”

Those people who don’t believe in germ “theory”, visit a public clinic near you and breathe deeply. Or, better yet, find a homeless person who is coughing heavily and just “hang” with him for a while. Louis Pasture was trying to prove a basic question of science at the time. People then thought there were no such things a “germs”, or micro sized living things in the air. What he really proved though was the fact that “Life only begets life.” In other words, he proved these living things didn’t just “spontaneously” arose – like snakes from piles of sticks or rats from piles of rags. So, to deny “germ theory” is to deny the fact that life arises out of life.

And if you believe that, you cannot be a christian, because then the door would be open for life to arise from non-living material.

Oh, and copper bracelets wont keep you anymore healthy than hanging garlic from your window.

Some of you guys are really “whacky!”

    • twizzler

If you are to try and be cute make sure you get it straight when you do. Water IS NOT Hydrogen Dioxide.

      • moonbeam

Correct! Water is H2O. One atom of hydrogen and two atoms of oxygen. And we humans are carbon based.

      • KG

Did you find that Homeless person to “hang” with yet? “…cough, cough.”

    • Karolyn

Nothing wacky about it KG. Some of us choose to be enlightened about health matters. I’ve posted this before – I have hepatitis c and despite the pleadings of my doctors, chose not to do chemo because chemo would have no doubt ruined my health. Instead, I chose to take care of my body; and as a result am very healthy and only go to the doctor for emergencies. My death will not be caused by hcv. Big Pharma is not in business to cure people.

      • RevNowWhileWeCan

That’s awesome. I must give you credit for your belief system. A lot of people are scared to go against “doctor’s orders” for obvious reasons. When and if you can seek out answers to healthcare issues that goes against traditional treatments is always a good thing. I would say that you must also believe in “natural cures” for them to be effective. I think that people who have doubts about what the mainstream calls “pseudo medicines” should do extensive research then make an honest choice and try and see it through.

      • DaveH
      • DaveH
    • DaveH

      It’s Dihydrogen Monoxide, KG.
If you can’t get that straight, how do you expect us to put credence in anything else you say?

      • Mutant

I have also seen water described as “hydrogen hydroxide”.

    • JustThinkin

KG & moonbeam – um I don’t mean to blow your minds here but Hydrogen Dioxide is H02, one hydrogen and 2 oxygen. HO2 is a derivative of deuterium or heavy water and does not exist without some very serious atomic/molecular manipulation.
Water, Ph7-, pure water, is H2O, or 2 hydrogen and 1 oxygen.
If you know of someone who actually has some hydrogen dioxide in their home, please contact me immediately. Also you may wish to contact a RAD/HAZMAT team to come clean it up.

      • KG

The point I was trying to make is you can make anything sound “scary.” Like the multitude of Emails I’ve gotten since I joined Mr. Liverstons web page.

“America is about to go under!”
“Protect your assets by using this ‘secret’ way to buy Gold.”
“…Patriot discovers way to steal electricity!”
“…become a citizen of a foreign nation WHILE YOU STILL CAN!”

Stop being “scared” by all of this “Bravo Sierra”
“The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.” F.D.Roosevelt
“When people are scared, they can do some irrational things.” Carl Sagan
“When they fear ya, you got the Power.” Tony Montanya

The Poorest of all are the misinformed. And , with the rampant manipulation of fact by media and manufacturer, this segment of society is extremely large – just look to the effect of the thirty second political ad. Mr. Livingston’s article only scratches the surface of the ugliness involved with the American system of medicine. When one considers the permissiveness allowed to big pharma in the exclusion of alternatives, the outright falsification of R&D studies, and the collusion with crony government regulators in regards to the recent socialization enactments, he can start to put the pieces together.
Toss in the fact that MDs were involved with the torture of POWs and went undisciplined by the AMA and we can conclude a total trashing of the Hippocratic oath.

  • Michael

The only time I ever recieved a Flu Vaccine is in the military, after that, I became ill. Once out of the military, the vaccine’s ended, and after That, I probably came down with the flu twice that I can recall. That has been 30 years since the last flu bug I recall. To shorten up this comment, I must say that I never fell for the vaccine scare. Now, in saying that, I have had a few colds in my life time.

  • Steve

I have never taken a flu shot and I am approaching 60. However, I know a lot of people that takes them yearly and is sick during ” flu season” . I Beleive in taken care of yourself and eating right but I do not buy in to the hysteria of the flu thing.

    • moonbeam

Same here, Steve. I have never had a flu shot and I don’t get the flu. The BEST way is to stay away from sick people and keep hands washed and AWAY from your face.
Drink lots of orange juice for the vitamin C or get it from the sun. The body is incapable of manufacturing its own vitamin C so we must get it from the foods we eat or sunshine.

If it is one thing I hate is when people feel they need to invade your personal space to talk to you. I can’t stand it and immediately step back when people get too close. I knew someone like that. She would cough all over the freaking place then get in your face to talk to you. Drove me insane. Water droplet nuclei is how the virus enters your system, usually via the mouth or nose.

Water droplet nuclei occurs when people speak, talk, cough or sneeze. The virus can live on fomites for hours. A fomite is any surface such as a counter top or phone. Come in contact with a fomite laden with germs and viruses, then placing your hands on your face, you have just inoculated yourself with whatever germ was there. It is also how TB is spread.

A closed in space, such as planes, trains, cars and buses with a bunch of people is not a good idea during flu season.

OH! And cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing. Sneeze and cough into the crook of your arm. And the ignoramouses who like to spit on the sidewalk (men mostly), stop it! It is a disgustingly nasty habit. If you can’t swallow your own saliva….okay I’m getting nauseous.

While the efficacy and danger of the flu vacine may be debated, vacination had prevented numerous cases of poliol, dyphteria, whoping caught, tuberculosis, chicken pox and others. Some of those diseases are on rise, because many stupid Americans refuse to he their cildren vacinated agaisnt those common diseases.

Thus this article should not disparage ALL vactinations, since more of them DO prevent death and illnesses from diseases. Whitle it is debatable if the flu vacines prevent all sorts of flu, it is ridiculous to claim that there is a conspiracy of CDC to force flu vacines on American population just to help pharmaceutical companies.

    • Bob Livingston

      Dear Gea,

You write: “While the efficacy and danger of the flu vacine (sic) may be debated, vacination (sic) had prevented numerous cases of poliol, (sic) dyphteria, (sic) whoping caught, (sic) tuberculosis, chicken pox and others.” You have been lied to.

      Best wishes,

      • brett

gee, bob, why do you have to disparage a guy for trying to make a valid point? some vaccines are perfectly valid and do good. i do agree with your link that this country is over medicated, but i don’t see how it confirms any lies.

        • Bob Livingston

          Dear brett,

You write: “gee, bob, why do you have to disparage a guy for trying to make a valid point?” Please point out a disparaging comment in my response.

Bob, am so very glad you were not around when polio was prevalent. It was quite common for fifteen or twenty kids to come down with polio, and half of those have paralysis in one or more limbs. Of the other half, at least two of them would be in an iron lung so they could breath, and two more would die. If it was a good year, four of the twenty would come through relatively unscathed. I have seen what the polio vaccine has accomplished, and it has done a lot more to help than you appear to be able to see. The same can be said for smallpox, diphtheria, and whooping cough. People are starting to see what skipping vaccines does with whooping cough, as it is coming back in areas where the parents think just like you, no vaccine is better than any vaccine.

        • Bob Livingston

          Dear Chester,

You write: “Bob, am so very glad you were not around when polio was prevalent.” What makes you think I wasn’t?

You write: ” was quite common for fifteen or twenty kids to come down with polio, and half of those have paralysis in one or more limbs. Of the other half, at least two of them would be in an iron lung so they could breath, and two more would die. If it was a good year, four of the twenty would come through relatively unscathed.” You have been lied to:

“But already before Salk developed his vaccine, polio had been constantly regressing; the 39 cases out of every 100,000 inhabitants registered in 1942 had gradually diminished from year to year until they were reduced to only 15 cases in 1952… according to M. Beddow Baylay, the English surgeon and medical historian.” (Slaughter of the Innocent, Hans Reusch, Civitas Publish ers, Switzerland, and Swain, New York, 1983)

“So far it is hardly possible to gain insight into the extent of the immunization catastrophe of 1955 in the United States. It may be considered certain that the officially ascertained 200 cases (of polio) which were caused directly or indirectly by the (polio) vaccination constitute minimum figures… It can hardly be estimated how many of the 1359 (polio) cases among vaccinated persons must be regarded as failures of the vaccine and how many of them were infected by the vaccine. A careful study of the epidemiologic course of polio in the United States yields indications of grave significance. In numerous states of the U.S.A., typical early epidemics developed with the immunizations in the spring of 1955… The vaccination incidents of the year 1955 cannot be exclusively traced back to the failure of one manufacturing firm.” (Dr. Herbert Ratner, Child and Family, 1980, vol. 19, no. 4, “Story of the Salk Vaccine,” Part 2)

“Suffice it to say that most of the large (polio) epidemics that have occurred in this country since the introduction of the Salk vaccine have followed the wide-scale use of the vaccine and have been characterized by an uncommon early seasonal onset. To name a few, there is the Massachusetts epidemic of 1955; the Chicago epidemic of 1956; and the Des Moines epidemic of 1959.” (Dr. Herbert Ratner, Child and Family, 1980 vol. 19, no. 4)

“The live (Sabin) poliovirus vaccine has been the predominant cause of domestically arising cases of paralytic poliomyelitis in the United States since 1972. To avoid the occurrence of such cases, it would be necessary to discontinue the routine use of live poliovirus vaccine.” (Jonas Salk, Science, March 4, 1977, p. 845)”

          Best wishes,

      • simon

Ok, I work in vaccines. I have worked in independent research mush of my life. But in the past 5 yrs moved to a vaccine manufacturer. So we will clarify some things here. I am not paid to state this, I know what goes into vaccines we manufacture, I help design some of the Quality tests for safety and efficacy.

        1) Not all flu vaccines contain aluminum, thimerosal, or formaldehyde. Some my contain one or more of these, but it is not included in all, so read the package inserts or find out for yourself.

        2) You get your panties in a wad over some of these chemicals being present, but do you have a clue as to the actual amount present, and then actual amount present in other things you may ingest. Trust me the vaccines are the least of your worries if this is your gripe.

        3) epidemiology of autoimmune disorder is actually higher in non vaccinated, statistically significant, but higher. Any strong immune response can trigger a PREDISPOSED person, and vaccines are designed to illicit a strong immune response.

        4) You use statistics incorrectly. Whether you are incompetent or worse did it purposefully to LIE to your audience. I don’t know buy you did. You state 2.7% of unvaccinated showed symptoms, while 1.2% of vaccinated showed symptoms. That is over a 50% decrease in incidence. I think you need to take a course in data interpretation.

        5) I really don’t have time for anymore, but please don’t try to publish like an expert or like you have a clue when it is obvious you don’t. I have only followed some of you stories but will also no longer be subscribed to you. If you are this bad with this, why should I trust anything else you report.

        • Jeff

If you’re looking for irresponsibility in journalism, you’ve hit the motherload. I do believe in science and will give the benefit of the doubt to scientists, but even I get really skeptical about “official” studies that sometimes deny what everyone knows will eventually be common knowledge. The agent orange studies immediately come to mind. It’s frustrating when you know there’s a causal connection, but some guy in a lab coat says “no.”

As for the links between vaccinations and autism, I accept that vaccinations are important and that their utility outweighs the apparent risks. I find it hard to believe the anecdotal reports are mere coincidences. But, I would never get vaccinations in shotgun form. One at a time is just fine. My son’s pediatrician feels the same way.

        • Jeff

Don’t mind DaveH. He thinks you’re after his MONEY. Plus, you might even believe in evolution and global warming.

      • DaveH

So you work in the industry, Simon, and you expect us to believe you’re unbiased?

Simon says — “You state 2.7% of unvaccinated showed symptoms, while 1.2% of vaccinated showed symptoms. That is over a 50% decrease in incidence. I think you need to take a course in data interpretation”.
Actually a variation of 1.5% would usually be considered to be statistically insignificant, Simon.
Figures don’t lie, but liars can figure.

Simon says — “You get your panties in a wad over some of these chemicals being present, but do you have a clue as to the actual amount present, and then actual amount present in other things you may ingest”.
So we should poison ourselves just because there are poisons that we aren’t aware of in other substances? Please enlighten us, Simon. Tell us about these other substances we should avoid and provide references please, like Bob did.

Simon says — “epidemiology of autoimmune disorder is actually higher in non vaccinated, statistically significant, but higher”.
I’m assuming you meant “statistically insignificant”, but either way how about some references, Simon? You surely don’t expect us just to take your word for it?

Simon says — “If you are this bad with this, why should I trust anything else you report”.
I have seen no proof of your assertions, Simon, so why should we trust any of your conjecture?

Gea says — “Some of those diseases are on rise, because many stupid Americans refuse to he their cildren vacinated agaisnt those common diseases”.
Do you have any references to back up your conjecture, Gea?
If the vaccinations are effective, then how are the unvaccinated people any danger to the vaccinated people? Why is it any of your business if some people choose not to vaccinate themselves?

Gea says — “it is ridiculous to claim that there is a conspiracy of CDC to force flu vacines on American population just to help pharmaceutical companies”.
Government has worked hand in hand with Crony Capitalists throughout history, GEA. What makes you think vaccinations would be any different?

A lot of these diseases are on the rise BECAUSE of some vaccinations and their mutations. I know there is a case with the whooping cough where they had to recall the vaccine because of “a bad batch”. They were having people get vaccinations for the vaccinations! I’ll try and find the link for you but here is one that shows polio is on the rise. Not because of polio but because of the vaccinations. They ARE poisons.

  • T. Jefferson

I retired out of the military in 94. I refused the shot the last year and was almost court martialed. I haven’t had a flu symptom in over 18 years. I refuse to allow my children to receive vaccines with these ingredients in them. None of these dangerous ingredients were in vaccines when I was a child.

  • scott

When I first joined the military, they used the live virus in the vaccine, man did we det sick. They used to have bottles of asprin at the injection line and enchouraged you to take atleast 12 that day to ease the affects. After a few times of that, I stopped taking them. Now they offer the nose spray verses the shot, but that to is a form of the live virus.

  • Amy

This essay is irresponsible and the author should be held liable for any deaths which ensue because of his gullible readers believing it.

Very little sourcing and more holes than Swiss cheese. “The numbers are wrong because they show more people dying of secondary (e.g. Bacterial) pneumonia than of influenza”? How the hell do you think they GOT that infection? That’s akin to saying no one dies from cancer because their death certificates all say cause of death: cardiac arrest! (true story)

Yes, the autism item has been debunked fairly recently. Look it up. Can’t entirely recall but seem to remember that the original study may have been fraudulent.

Disease comes from within? Really. Seriously. So all of the electron microscope stills and video I’ve seen from a variety of sources showing viruses attaching themselves to healthy cells and replicating until the body figures out what’s going on and sends antibodies to fight…all the product of Hollywood CG?

With an undoubtedly high percentage of elderly readers, you should be ashamed to have even allowed this on your site. You may be responsible for these ill-informed folks getting sick needlessly, all so you can sell your vitamins.

    • Bob Livingston

      Dear Amy,

You have been brainwashed by conventional wisdom.

You write: “You may be responsible for these ill-informed folks getting sick needlessly, all so you can sell your vitamins.” Please show me where I “sell” vitamins.

It’s sad when someone confounds lying with mistaken.

To take 30,000 or 20,000 IU daily of vitamin D3 can be very dangerous, especially on the long term.

      • twizzler

Your article says no more than 100mcg/day (4,000IU) for the D3 dosage. My pill is 50,000IU directly from the doctor. I take 10,000IU/day on my own (not with the big one) for the last three years and after the first day stopped taking all my allergy medicine, wake up breathing free and have not had a cold or the flu since then.

It does not matter how much D3 you take per day, what matters is your blood serum level. You must get your blood tested for proper levels and it took months to get my level up to the bottom of the range.

Do you know what everything in my post and almost every bit of the article and thread is? Anecdotal. Nothing more, nothing less.

    • DaveH

Amy says — “Very little sourcing and more holes than Swiss cheese”.
Where are Your references, Amy? I see lots of conjecture in your comment, but nothing to back it up.

That’s quite a story, Amy, since viruses can only be seen under an Electron Microscope and “since no living specimen can survive under their high vacuum, they cannot show the ever-changing movements that characterize a living cell”:

“You should be ashamed”, Amy, to make such erroneous comments as you have made.

I am 78 and have never taken a flu shot and never will. I used to have allergies and colds etc. However when I feel something coming on I take 1000mg of Vit C (w/rose hips)every hour (about 10-12 tablets a day) and haven’t had a cold or flu in over 35 yrs. When I studied the attributes of Vit “C” and used it – Viola! I have told many about this

I will be getting my flu shot soon this year as I have been doing for the past several years. This does not necessarily mean I will be taking the flu shot every year. I will stay informed the best I can.

maybe we should try going back to simple basics and SKIP the “artificial” preventatives… i read in a “homesteading” type magazine that long ago folks used to set ONIONS out in their homes to “suck up” bacteria in the room…. i TRIED this (amazing) trick and have NOT even had a cold for pushing TWO YEARS!!!! just set an onion or two out in a (decorative) bowl and leave them alone! replace after a month or three… FEEL the onion – if it feels “mushy” – replace it. since i have sinus problems and had pneumonia (winter ’08/’09) – i put the onions on MY end of the sofa, on MY side of the bed on night table. they (onions) are in a wire mesh type hanging basket in the kitchen… this “thingy” REALLY has worked for me. in addition – the article said that if you ARE SICK – to take an onion – cut off the top AND the bottom – drop it in a (mason?) jar and set the jar beside the sick person at night. check out the onion in the am – and supposedly – you’ll be able to SEE the black bacteria the onion “soaked up” during the night…. said the cold would pass quicker by doing this. but i haven’t been sick to be able to TRY this!

Mitt was going down the road in his limo when he saw a little girl selling kittens. They were so young they hadn’t opened their eyes yet.

Mitt asked the enterprising girl what the kittens were and she said, “Republican.”

Mitt thought that was great and left. He thought about it and went back the next day with a camera crew.

He got to the key question he thought would be a plus for his presidential bid and asked, “And what are your kittens?”

      The little girl said, “Democrats.”

      Mitt asked, “What’s changed?”

The little girl responded, “They opened their eyes.”

Recently, while I was working in the flower beds in the front yard,

my neighbors stopped to chat as they returned home from walking their dog.

During our friendly conversation, I asked their little girl what she wanted

to be when she grows up. She said she wanted to be President some day.

Both of her parents, liberal Democrats, were standing there, so I asked her,

“If you were President what would be the first thing you would do?”

She replied…”I’d give food and houses to all the homeless people.”

        Her parents beamed with pride!

“Wow…what a worthy goal!” I said. “But you don’t have to wait until

you’re President to do that!” I told her. “What do you mean?” she replied.

So I told her, “You can come over to my house and mow the lawn, pull weeds,

and trim my hedge and I’ll pay you $50.

Then you can go over to the grocery store where the homeless guy hangs out

and give him the $50 to use toward food and a new house.”

She thought that over for a few seconds, then she looked me straight in the

eye and asked, “Why doesn’t the homeless guy come over and do the work,

and you can just pay him the $50?”

        I said,

“Welcome to the Republican Party kid.”

Her parents aren’t speaking to me anymore.

I was looking at a 30-yr career in the Air Force but called it quits after 20 because of the vaccine programs. I didn’t like the fact that we didn’t have a choice over whether or not we got the flu vaccine. Then they came out with the Anthrax vaccine which was also mandatory. I got the first 3 (of six) injections while in Saudi. My body has been messed up ever since and getting worse. I suddenly got allergies galore when I never had any before, my joints and muscles hurt so bad I found I couldn’t run anymore and have had two knee surgeries for torn meniscuses (the first right after I returned from Saudi), I’ve broken my wrist, fractured my elbow, and torn ligaments throughout my body since I returned. I never had muscle-skeletal-joint problems prior to the vaccine. Even tho all the military doctors said the vaccine is perfectly safe, when I made mention of all my problems starting right after I got the vaccine to my civilian doctor after I retired, she said she didn’t trust that vaccine any further than she could see the label clear enough to read it. She did research on it and recognized the ingredient used as a preservative as something her uncle used in his profession. He was a cement contractor and when she asked him what he used it for, he said “to dissolve concrete.” And people wonder why so many service members have been complaining about joint and muscle aches/pains/problems ever since getting this vaccine. I will no longer trust the government or any corporation associated with it ever again. I have not had a flu vaccine now in three years and have yet to get the flu. I just take a multivitamin along with an Advil Cold and Sinus (for my sinus issues that have developed since returning from Saudi) each day and then an “A” and an “E” in the evening before bed. All I can say is….”Just wait. The whole Anthrax vaccine program is going to turn out to be another Agent Orange fiasco in another 20 yrs or so.”

I am a Certified Medical Assistant and do not believe in getting a flu shot. There are many differenent types of viruses, and the flu vaccine cannot cover them all. My father got very ill when given a flu shot last year. I advised him against getting any more. I believe a person who is relatively healthy should think twice before getting one.

I worked in a hospital for five years. Most people who came in with flu symptoms were very unhealthy to begin with. The majority of those who came to the ER were not from this country and never received good prenatal care, hygiene, or have eaten healthy foods. I have watched and took interest in those with the flu, especially those who appeared very unhealthy. Marie

    From the CDC Website:

Common substances found in vaccines include:

Aluminum gels or salts of aluminum which are added as adjuvants to help the vaccine stimulate a better response. Adjuvants help promote an earlier, more potent response, and more persistent immune response to the vaccine.

See also: “Aluminum in Vaccines: What you should know”External Web Site Policy Adobe Acrobat print-friendly PDF file [ 579KB / 2 pages] Also available in SpanishExternal Web Site Policy Adobe Acrobat print-friendly PDF file [579KB / 2 pages]

Antibiotics which are added to some vaccines to prevent the growth of germs (bacteria) during production and storage of the vaccine. No vaccine produced in the United States contains penicillin.

Egg protein is found in influenza and yellow fever vaccines, which are prepared using chicken eggs. Ordinarily, persons who are able to eat eggs or egg products safely can receive these vaccines.

Formaldehyde is used to inactivate bacterial products for toxoid vaccines, (these are vaccines that use an inactive bacterial toxin to produce immunity.) It is also used to kill unwanted viruses and bacteria that might contaminate the vaccine during production. Most formaldehyde is removed from the vaccine before it is packaged.

Monosodium glutamate (MSG) and 2-phenoxy-ethanol which are used as stabilizers in a few vaccines to help the vaccine remain unchanged when the vaccine is exposed to heat, light, acidity, or humidity.

Thimerosal is a mercury-containing preservative that is added to vials of vaccine that contain more than one dose to prevent contamination and growth of potentially harmful bacteria.

Nice, now I can choose between Leftist wackos who think everything is Big Pharma, Big Company conspiracy, and Rightest wackos who think everything is a Big Pharma, Big Science conspiracy. I especially loved the references to studies wildly at odds with the vast majority of all similar studies, possessed of glaring procedural problems, as if they were reputable and representative. But of course one study, even a garbage study, that reinforces one’s prejudices is equal to an infinite number of better studies that are at odds with what one wishes to believe. Bacon noted that men ‘count the hits and ignore the misses’, but he referred to unconscious blindness, not intentional studied ignorance.

This article is a major ‘fail’ and calls Personal Liberty into question as a source generic. Arguments against mandatory vaccination are one thing, propagandist falsehood in attempt to forward one’s position without having to argue it, quite another.

If you prefer what amounts to ‘faith healing’, so be it, I’d argue it’s completely your choice. But that’s not a matter of your opinion being sound, or even defensible, because it is neither…but rather one of freedom including the freedom to be a fool. The heart of freedom is the right to make your own mistakes, which is most decidedly the case here. Of course the ‘flip side’ of Freedom is….responsibility. So when you suffer from the Flu, it’s on you…don’t expect a lot of sympathy from this quarter…and if society decides (due to variations in virulence for example) to quarantine Flu sufferers….get used to being at home for a bit. Freedom certainly means begin willing to say “it’s my own fault”…because rest assured those of us who actually believe Science trumps Faith-healing and Witch-doctoring will be saying “it’s your own fault”. Enjoy!

      • DaveH

Homogenic Global Warming was “science” also, Patrick. Supposedly.
I have a 4-year degree in Biology with an emphasis on Human Physiology, and I can tell you that none of the students I knew ever came close to actually reading and understanding the “scientific” studies, much less verifying their validity.
You can be a Big Government dupe all you want, but don’t try to impress me with your knowledge, because it isn’t impressive.

      • DaveH

Patrick says — “if society decides (due to variations in virulence for example) to quarantine Flu sufferers….get used to being at home for a bit”.
Why Patrick? If the vaccinations you willingly take are effective, why should I stay home?

        • Patrick N. Smith

Why, because you have the Flu and are infectious….Oh, I forgot, you believe that germs can’t cause disease in ‘healthy’ people. Well then, because you have the Flu and are infectious and not all of us believe that “health” and “luck” are synonymous. By the way, you are aware of a few of the following pertinent fact: the Flu vaccine is among the least effective of all common vaccines (coming in somewhere between 40% and 80% effective at preventing infection, depending on the particular study). There’s also a mitigation effectiveness, as multiple studies have shown those vaccinated have shorter and less severe illnesses when they do suffer Flu. Numerous studies have shown reduced mortality and morbidity, as well as lessened development of complications. Those who benefit least from vaccination are those most vulnerable to Flu, as their immune systems are least likely to respond to vaccination, leaving them vulnerable. Of course their risks are reduced to the extent the vaccine prevent infection in others, as there are fewer carriers to endanger them with infection. While generally vaccination, however clear and compelling the case, should be entirely mandatory, there are exceptions: for example Pediatric ICU personnel should be required to be vaccinated, as should anyone working in ANY ICU…. Those who disagree should not only acquaint themselves with the mortality of hospital acquired pneumonia, but should have to attend the progress of a few such cases, in presence of the loved ones having to watch it. Flu may not be major commensurable but it is a very major one, and while 40-80% are the greatest numbers, they are a heck of lot better than 0%.

      • DaveH

It seems to me that the only “fool” in this two-way conversation is you, Patrick.

      • DaveH

All that verbage, Patrick, and you still did not answer my very simple question.
Why, if your vaccinations are effective, would you have anything to fear from me having the flu?
Of course you can’t answer, so instead you must obfuscate (double-speak).

And Patrick, you blow-hard, cite one single vaccine that has ever been evaluated through a double-blind, placebo controlled study to determine if it actually has any preventive or mitigating effect on the disease of interest.

      • Patrick N. Smith

DaveH, I’ll have to agree with Dr. Mark Crislip on this one and simply conclude you are “dumbass”. (Since, somehow I doubt you have an account on MedScape……) – Part 1, The Series of lectures by the man himself…..

Check it out….even if you learn NOTHING Crislip is hilarious.

      • Patrick N. Smith

BTW, it’s quite clear that AGW is clearly real. The degree, and significance are substantially in question, which is the major area of controversy, and the only one still current in the mainstream Scientific community (of course there will always be some crackpots out there…which is fine…it’s normal and useful as once in a really rare time one of them actually is right about something, or has a unique insight…not often mind you..but even when it’s rare it’s still useful)…. The debate is over the quite possibly unfounded degree of concern (for my part I’m rather conservative and think almost all the alarm is not founded on good science at all and the degree, not to mention the affects, of the phenomenon are greatly exaggerated)….but it’s pretty obvious that there’s at least some measurable AGW going on.

      • Patrick N. Smith

One last thing DaveH….please don’t take “dumbass” in this context as a blanket insult. In this matter I think it applies (as it does to most of us on some matter or other!)….but even the brightest and most competent have points and things about which they are truly “dumbasses”….look at Steve Jobs….Linus Pauling…not exactly idiots…but they certainly did have some really “dumbass” ideas too. So please accept my expression of personal respect, no matter how little I may have for this one hypothesis you express.

So please try not to view this as a personal attack…because it’s not intended as such.

      • Jay

You still didn’t answer Dave’s question, Patrick; Why, if your vaccinations are effective, would you have anything to fear from me having the flu?

You did provide a partial answer, “Why, because you have the Flu and are infectious… This, your answer, sealed your defeat in your debate with DaveH. If you have taken the flu-shot, and DaveH has the flu, you are both, infected.

The only difference between the two of you is that, DaveH is relying on his immune system, which was around long before artificial vaccination/immunization, to develop anti-bodies to address his infection, while you are relying on vaccination/flu-shots, which by-pass, undetected, the security systems; your nasal and mouth/oral body entrances, where every subsistence is duly catalogued, and if any substance is determined to be of detriment to your system, anti-bodies are developed to address the issue.

This is why vaccines/flu-shots are dangerous in principle, as they are injected directly into the blood-stream, by-passing all readings/scanners/security-systems, nasal/oral, rendering the immune system confused, unable to rightly discern friend from foe. Since from this position, the immune system is unable to correctly detect friend from foe, it is then rendered ineffective as to the production of anti-bodies. In this predicament, Patrick, you are left, unprotected, and at the mercy of the vaccination/flu-shot(s). Not a good position.

      • DaveH

Dumbass, sorry, Patrick, you still have not answered my simple question. Is that because you’re a Dumbass? Or is it because you know you can’t justify Forcing your way on me? I suspect both cases.
Your answer — “Why, because you have the Flu and are infectious”, is not a valid answer. Because if the vaccine you took is effective, then I am no danger to you, “infectious” or not. If it isn’t effective — Well, do I even need to explain that to you?
You are just the common average Dumbass, Patrick, who can’t justify Forcing his way on other people. ‘Because I said so’ may be good enough for your kids, but it doesn’t cut the mustard with thinking adults.

The last time I had the flu was in 1994. Since that time, I have taken a regimen of vitamins, various antioxidants, herbs and N-Acetyl Cysteine during flu season. Despite being a teacher and being around many sick kids, I have not gotten anything worse than a mild cold during all that time. I might add that I’m now 68 and was 50 years old when I began the regimen. I absolutely refuse to take vaccines. Natural medicine really works.

    • Karolyn

      A big AMEN to that!!!

    • Patrick N. Smith

Well I’ve NEVER had the Flu…and I could assume it was due to my ‘reliance’ on a steady diet of Dilly Bars and Ding-Dongs…..but then again, perhaps regular vaccinations just MIGHT have something to do with it too.

“The plural of anecdote is anecdotes, not “evidence”. – Dr. Mark Crislip

      • DaveH

Unless you’ve lived a double-life in a parallel universe, Patrick, you have no way of proving that without the vaccinations you would have caught the flu.
Only a “Dumbass” could buy into your fallacious argument.

      • DaveH

For a guy who throws around phrases like “not founded on good science”, you’re really not very bright, Patrick. Certainly you know nothing about “good science”.

  • tippngj1

I worked for a company for 8 years and never had a flu shot during that time. never contracted the flu. Keep in mind as an IT Technician I sat in every cubicle multiple times a day. Every other employee in the company had their flu shots every year. Each flu season about 2-3 employees who had their shots missed worked due to contracting the flu.

    Nutty article by a “truther…”

How anyone can buy this conspiratorial nonsense is beyond me…

Especially from a guy who emphatically states that the 9/11 calamity was an “inside job…”

    • Bob Livingston

      Dear Euskaldun,

Ad hominems is your method of rebuttal? I’m guessing you weren’t the debate team captain.

      Best wishes,

I’d say that pointing out a pattern of delusion is not Ad Hominem…but quite to the point.

      • DaveH

Of course you would, Patrick, because your comments are largely reliant upon the same manipulative techniques.

      • JC

Another closed mind Bob. There’s a lot of them out there…

      • Patrick N. Smith

Well if a “closed mind” is one that refuses to ‘believe’ something that’s unsupported by evidence and is theoretically ludicrous….then that’s me: Mr. Closed Mind.

I’ll certainly take that as a compliment, so “thank you”.

      • DaveH

Where is your “scientific” evidence, Patrick? I asked you to provide the name of one scientific double-blind placebo controlled study which proved the efficacy of any one type of vaccine, and so far you still haven’t answered that question.
Why is that, Patrick? Is it because you’re a “Dumbass”?

      • Karolyn

Patrick -Ii bet you don’t even believe in the mind-body connection.

      • Jay

Patrick is not a dumbass, DaveH, just intellectually dishonest.

A considerable percentage of the medical establishment agrees with Mr. Livingstone, Euskaldum. I wonder why?

Rather then study the effects of vaccines, we should study the wonderful way our immune system works, instead. After which, you will understand why vaccines and flu-shots are the most dangerous things you can put in your body, and, but more importantly, you will understand the uselessness that vaccines and flu-shot possess in eradicating disease(s).

    • Jay

Sorry, wrong moniker. The above was posted by me, Jay!

  • Lee Hieb, MD

I have been fighting against mandating flu shots for hospital personnel for years. Your article was right on with one exception. I wish you had left off the comment about Pasteur. The germ theory is correct in the same way Newton was correct about physics. Correct but incomplete. Germs are required to get influenza and other infectious diseases, but they do not per se cause disease by themselves. You are correct that germs interact with the immune system and other systemic factors and produce disease–sometimes. In the Japanese studies, vitamin D was more effective than vaccination because vitamin D works at the level of DNA to improve your immune response. Vitamin D is really the miracle anti-aging hormone in many other ways, healing your telomeres and improving cardiac arrythmia, decreasing dementia, improving longevity, and decreasing cancer to name but a few recent findings. Ultimately though, vaccination by mandate is simply wrong. The horrors of Nazi medicine was brought to the world via the utilitarian ethic (see my article “The Lessons of Karl Brandt” on the internet), and that is the argument for most vaccination–not to save individuals but to improve the health of the herd. As a surgeon, I never mandate a treatment. Ultimately, no matter the problem, the decision to undergo a medical treatment must be left with the patient. Except in the case of vaccination, where the drug companies have used the government and the dupes in the medicine to force people to buy their product. I would love to create a product and have the government force people to buy it, wouldn’t you?

Your Sept 17, 2012 article [iAll You’ve Been Told About The Flu Is A Lie] had me going. It was a good article until you ended up with this idiocy: “The germ theory of disease is a foolish hoax created by Louis Pasteur.” But I guess you can’t expect too much from some one who believes that 9/11 was an inside job. You are like Alex Jones who, at most times discuss and explain important subjects with brilliant analyses and deduction. For that you use the logical left cortical hemisphere of your brain. But, now and then, you spiel mindless patter [like your Pasteur hoax & 9/11 conspiracy crap] from the illogical or so-called creative right hemisphere. And by doing so, you make yourself incredulous and thus negate your point and the very veracity of your brilliance

I can’t speak for Bob, Gee Arce, but I am thinking he means that the spread of disease is best fought by giving your body the best ammunition you can nutritionally, having a good attitude, learning to deal with stress effectively, etc. I doubt seriously that he thinks there are no such things as viruses and bacteria.
If you read enough books about the amount of Crony Capitalism there is in Big Government, you might better understand where he’s coming from. Considering the fact that all of our wars, but one, have been about Power and Big Business, and the results have been great loss of lives of innocent people (that includes the duped soldiers), the idea that Big Pharma might lie and conspire to misinform the citizens is not very far fetched at all. Keep in mind that 10 million lost their lives in WWI, and 50 million in WWII, largely because of the US involvement. The relatively few who are adversely affected by vaccinations would probably seem insignificant to the people in Big Pharma who are using Big Government to take advantage of us.

This is my feedom to participate in vaccine programs.

“The ‘victory over epidemics’ was not won by medical science or by doctors–and certainly not by vaccines…..the decline…has been the result of technical, social and hygienic improvements and especially of improved nutrition. Here the role of the potato…deserves special mention…..Consider carefully whether you want to let yourself or your children undergo the dangerous, controversial, ineffective and no longer necessary procedure called vaccination, because the claim that vaccinations are the cause for the decline of infectious diseases is utter nonsense.”–The Vaccination Nonsense (2004 Lectures)—Dr. med. G. Buchwald ISBN 3-8334-2508-3 page 108.

The vaccination myth is the most widespread superstition modern medicine has managed to impose, but, being by the same token the most profitable, it will prove to be also one of the most enduring, though there was never the slightest of scientific evidence upholding it. Suffice it to say now that the various epidemics have experienced in all countries the same natural evolution of growth, decline, and eventual disappearance, whether vaccination or other therapies had been introduced or not.

The only demonstrable effects were the widespread damages caused by the various vaccinations, none excluded. Most pediatricians we know in Italy and France do not vaccinate their own children, although they cannot refuse to vaccinate their clients’ children, if they want to retain their union licence to practice……..

So it can safely be predicted that the advertised belief in the alleged blessings of vaccination will be among the last deadly rites of Modern Medicine to go, because it is far too profitable to the medical combine to be allowed to go without a bitter struggle, of which the beginnings can increasingly be seen today, but which will certainly drag on into the coming century. It is indeed so profitable – to Industry and State – that it is incentivated by being offered, or imposed, in many cases free of charge. But in truth, who gets the bill? The taxpayer, of course. Preface by Hans Ruesch to 1000 Doctors (and many more) Against Vivisection

If you think you need a medical education to form an opinion on the merits of vaccination,
ask yourself, who created and keeps that belief going?

  • Jay

Vaccine pushers often resort to an interesting fear tactic to try to mandate vaccine obedience among the masses: They insist that those who are unvaccinated are a health threat to the rest of the vaccinated population because the vaccinated people might get infected by the unvaccinated disease carriers!

The quack logic of such a claim should be self-evident. If vaccines protect people from infectious disease, then vaccinated people should not be concerned at all about being around unvaccinated people. After all, the vaccine made them all “immune,” right?

But of course that’s all propaganda. Vaccines don’t really work at all. They are marketed under a blanket of disease hysteria and pimped by a cult following of medicalized quacks and needle junkies who abandoned real science long ago. After all, who needs real science when you’ve got the CDC marketing all the fear for you? The CDC is to medicine what George Bush was to the war industry — spread a little fear and the profits roll in.

The real risk to others? People who routinely take antibiotics

As it turns out, the real health risk that does exist in person-to-person exposure of infectious disease comes from people who routinely take antibiotics. Those who take the most antibiotics become drug-resistant bacteria factories, and they can spread their drug-resistant strains to others around them. Their risk of developing superbugs rises proportionally to the frequency and duration of their taking prescription antibiotics. (

The most dangerous person in your family, it turns out, is not the “unvaccinated” person but the one taking antibiotics! They are human breeding grounds for bacterial mutations that can be downright deadly.

Ever notice that you don’t hear about people getting sick with the Bubonic plague, whooping cough polio and that kind of stuff anymore. it doesn’t exist so why do we even need vaccines? that stuff is just lies to scare us into taking so called vaccine so they can control our minds and stuff.

    • Jeff

Are you serious or is this a joke? You do realize it’s not a coincidence that those diseases are no longer around, right. It’s because of vaccinations that we don’t have to worry about polio or bubonic plague. The reason the flu shot is annual is because a different strain is anticipated every year. Clearly, someone is controlling your mind (Sponge Bob perhaps?); too bad it wan’t a teacher.

I haven’t had the flu in 20 years and I thank colloidal silver for that. Yet the FDA will forbid anyone from making any medical claims for anything that isn’t sold by “big pharma”, even though their poisons are responsible for “countless” deaths. Oh, and my skin is NOT blue. . .

Quote: the germ theory of disease — that we “catch” the flu and other diseases by being exposed to people who are “contagious” — is a foolish hoax created by Louis Pasteur. What do i have to say about this: This guy is a Nutjob and anyone who believes it is either also a nutjob or so ignorant that our education system has failed that person. This would be hilarious if it wasn’t so serious that people believe this utter crap.

  • Chris

I do not get the flu vaccine and never did. When one comes into contact with a germ, the body has time to adapt to it……… opposed to being shot right into the vein. I don’t care if the vaccine is dead or alive. The vaccine is NOT effective against all flu strains and is made to “take care of” the current strain “going around”. I won’t have that crap injected into me every year. This is “my” decision for “me”……..others who know me know how I feel about this, but I do not preach to others nor tell them what to do because everyone has to make an informed decision for their own bodies. Whenever I come down with a “cold”, I count 3 days (incubation period) back and can usually pinpoint where I was……….around a lot of people. One time I was nowhere for some days and then went to a buffet restaurant…..within 3 days, I came down with a cold so now whenever I go to a buffet restaurant, I pick up a napkin and place it on each spoon as I serve myself…..if this is not possible, I will wash my hands after serving myself and before I eat my meal but DO try to use a napkin.

I work at a hospital that is now requiring their employees to get the flu vaccine. Last year, any employee opting not to get the vaccine had the opton to wear a mask throughout the entire day, during the flu season, and they were considered compliant. This year, the hospital has made a policy that anyone not receiving the flu vaccine will not be scheduled from January 1st until the end of the flu season sometime in May. The only exemption is a documented allergy from a physician, and they reserve the right to test employees for their allergy. Those employees positions will not be held. The company that owns the hospital I work for owns most of the other area hospitals, so I cannot go to another hospital. As so many of the other hospital employees, I cannot afford to lose my job. I do not know what to do. Does anyone out there have any ideas?

    • RG

I faced the same when I worked at our local hospital. There is a form one can fill out – I believe it is on your actual shot record. It is the same one parents can fill out for their children involved in school or any other activity. There are boxes on the bottom of the form where you have an exemption based on either religious, moral, philosophical, or history of disease objections. If they won’t allow you to opt out based on this and they threaten your job status, I would contact the Christian Law Association to get a run down on your rights because that is discrimination based on a strongly held view, which in some cases, is seen as a religious or moral belief. Prep yourself though. I actually had to go straight to the top and speak with some big wigs, knowing my rights. This after they had administered the Hep B series – yes, the whole series- on me 3 times in full, yet no immunity showed up in the titers, though I got very sick and missed a few days of work after each shot. The official statement on that was that no one, ever, has gotten sick because of any shot. I must have already had something going on that only showed up after the shots. Beware of all inclusive terms like ‘noone, always, never…’

I would also like to point out that when I was in nursing school, the professors insisted that we call them immunizations rather than vaccines and were very open about the fact that what you call them matters a lot regarding return visits. Parents who are talked to about vaccines often don’t keep up with the shot timing where if they are called immunizations it gives parents the impression their children will be – well – immune to that disease and invincible in health speak. What parent doesn’t want their kids to stay well? So I’m not sure if it is only in this part of the country, but one term sells it better than the other, and there was no discussion allowed about vaccinations in class or on forums. Period. So that is why I was open to learn about them.

Madison Avenue has a hand in aiding the drug companies in marketing drugs directly to the general public. A lot of the nightly news stories presented as news are actually advertorials for the drug companies. It has even gone as far as advertising dog drugs, as well. Invent a drug, and invent a disease to go with it. I believe we are the only country on earth that permits this direct advertising.

If he had succeeded… who would be next… doctors, all citizens??? Sorry Big Pharma and Big Government dude… they and we don’t buy or want your poison.

It is true, as Bob Livingston says, most professional, medical personnel, doctors & nurses, will not even take the vaccines they are to provide and push on the unknowing public.

Think: Aluminum, Mercury, Thimerosal, and Formaldehyde… dangerous toxins…’nuff said.

If you still don’t get it… re-read the article again.

Bob Livingston… another one of your well written pieces…GREAT article.

I worked with a lot of doctors and nurses who want the best for their patients. They are honest, sincere, caring, and well meaning. I would never come to the conclusions you are saying. I do know, however, that there are some white elephants so to speak when you are in med school of any kind. When something is taught as unquestionable fact with a list of scholarly people’s names to back it up, some things just aren’t really looked into very deeply by doctors and nurses. They go by the information that is readily handed to them. Just as parents do when they take their babies to the clinic. They consider themselves informed because they have read the papers they have been given. Another example is when we read a food label, we just assume they are telling us the truth and the FDA knows all about it, we typically don’t stand in our kitchens testing each can of tuna to make sure it has no other stuff in it, etc. When a doctor or nurse begins to research on their own and find unnerving facts, studies, and statistics, they often just make decisions for their own family because, though they have been convinced, the people who hold their licensing have set certain guidelines and statements they must abide by, so they don’t squawk on a large scale. This I have seen a few times. The third point would be that not many people even question or ask. They are content to be herded and go blindly along like lemmings trusting that those ‘smarter’ and ‘more informed / well studied’ will direct them appropriately. If you directly ask a doctor specific questions and vie for actual fact and not sob stories, many will give you some things to think about and allow you to make up your own mind on the subject for your own family. This is not a ‘far right or left’ concept and it is not ‘conspiracy theory’ either. I am not the best writer, but I thought someone needs to balance your brash comment above. Best wishes.

this is what I believe..based on much I have read. When the Mother’s beneficial gut bacteria is low, she passes it on to her baby. Then, when the baby is vaccinated with LOW gut bacteria, THIS is when autism ‘could’ be triggerred. The remedy would be Doctors making sure the Mother eats or takes a rich source of probiotics so that could be passed on. Then, wait as long as possible to get the fist vaccine if that is what she chooses… even if this wasn’t actually ‘proven’…what could it hurt?.. Low gut bacteria is rampant due to chlorinated water, antibiotics etc… why not treat the symptom prior to problems..heaven forbid the medical establishment exercises common, preventitive sense and save MILLIONS!….

I am pretty sure obamacare can force us to get a flu shot, or we go to jail

so just WHAT is in that flu shot? I don’t EVER want to find out
    it could be drano

    • Jeff

Only the Republicans get the Drano. Seriously, where do you get this stuff? There is nothing in the healthcare bill that can force you to get any medical treatment at all. If you are a Christian Scientist and want to just pray, the police are not going to make you get treatment.

What I find crazy is the cdc comes out with these vaccines months before an out break and tell everyone to get their shot. Then when the flu does break out it has mutated and the shot people got a month or two ago is inaffective for the new strain. Also the cdc uses the excuse to get vaccinated that people who are not vaccinated need to get the shot so not to infect the ones that have been vaccinated…huh. Isn’t it the other way around? It is a known fact that people who are vaccinated are contagious for a week after taking the flu shot.

I have not taken a flu shot in ten years. Previously if I caught the flu it would last a couple of days, done EVERY time I got a flu shot I came down with the flu AND it would last up to five days with serious fevers and stomach problems for up to a week. Now without a shot IF I get the flu I am up and about in two or three days. You can keep your poisonous
