Adult entertainment industry seeks bailout funds

January 7, 2009 by

The adult entertainment industry has seen falling salesIt may boggle the mind, but the adult entertainment industry has become the latest sector to ask the government for money to stay afloat.

Larry Flynt, known for publishing Hustler, and Girls Gone Wild CEO Joe Francis have indicated they plan to petition Congress for a bailout.

According to Francis’ spokesperson, they are asking for a similar arrangement to that sought by the Big Three automakers last month.

"Congress seems willing to help shore up our nation’s most important businesses – we feel we deserve the same consideration," Francis commented.

The pair cited statistics showing that their sector has suffered in recent months. DVD sales and rentals fell by 22 percent over the past year, as more people turn to online options, they said.

Flynt suggested that by helping the adult entertainment industry, the government would be making an important investment.

"Americans can do without cars and such but they cannot do without sex," he said.

Meanwhile, the Washington Post reported that GM has received its first installment of bailout money, in the form of $4 billion dollars.

It is logical that parasites line up to get bailed out. However, it is also immoral and just plain WRONG that these requests be considered. If the porno folks can’t make it – TOUGH!
If the idiots in Detroit can’t make it, it’s not because they didn’t have their chances to compete. If the big banks can’t make it, THEN LET THEM F A I L !
Common sense demands that this bailout mentality must be ripped out of society. All who would use bailouts to continue to destroy America from within must be seen for who and what they are. Outsource those elected, two-legged vermin to scenic places like North Korea and Iran.

It’s an exercise in sarcasm! You can always count on Larry to point out the hypocrisy of government.

I’m a tax payer when I’ve been able to make enough money to profit. Think about your food comes from, what’s more important eating or adult entertainment? It’s a o brainer no food no fun! It’s time for America to return to the roots of the founding fathers of this great country. If you want to save America wake up now, it may be too late already. Our freedom is on the line as SOCIALISM is being pulled over your eyes and you arn’t even aware of it

Actually, let the government take it over, like they did GM, then the new center spread will look like Bella Abzug [I hope I spelled it right]…
