Heart-healthy foods can be easy to incorporate into your meals if you know what to add. Try to include several servings of fruits and vegetables — like spinach, carrots, peaches and assorted berries — during the day. Swap your fattening white flour products for whole foods like oats, grain bread and brown rice. Also try to limit your saturated fats and look for leaner meats or tofu… fish like tuna, salmon and mackerel… and healthy unsaturated fats like olive, canola, corn or sunflower oils.
