ABC News Outs TSA “Security”

December 22, 2010 by

ABC News Outs TSA “Security”

Now we know why the Transportation Security Administration has increased its totalitarian search procedures on airline passengers. It’s tired of being embarrassed by its own incompetence.

Last week, ABC News reported that a business traveler named Farid Seif passed through security at Houston International Airport with a loaded .40 caliber Glock handgun in his computer bag. Seif says he forgot it was there and only discovered it after he arrived at his hotel.

The report by ABC News also contained this little tidbit: Since 9/11, “Federal agencies have conducted random covert ‘red team tests,’ where undercover agents try to see just how much they can get past security checks at major United States airports.” While the Department of Homeland Security guards the results of these tests as classified, some have been leaked to the media.

ABC News called the results shocking. But it’s not really, not to anyone who understands how government works.

According to one report, on one day in 2006 TSA screeners failed to detect concealed bombs and guns 20 out of 22 times at a Newark airport terminal. A report from 2007 leaked to USA Today revealed that undercover agents were successful in slipping simulated explosives and bomb parts through Los Angeles’ LAX airport in 50 out of 70 tries, and at Chicago’s O’Hare 45 out of 75 times.

“Despite the results, there is no sign that the numbers have changed as the screeners have been tested year after year,” former Department of Homeland Security Inspector General Clark Kent Ervin told ABC News.

TSA Chief John Pistole told ABC News that the poor performance during the undercover tests helped to convince him that airport screening needed to be much tougher.

Now we understand. TSA agents know there are no real terrorists trying to slip past security. The ones regularly cited as prime examples of what TSA is looking for — shoe bomber Richard Reid and underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab — were allowed by the state security apparatus to board their respective flights. But you never can tell when one of those crafty undercover agents might be using a blue-haired old lady or some 6-year-old kid to slip explosives through screening.

All kidding aside; it’s patently obvious this story by the corporate media is designed to scare the sheeple into submitting to increasingly onerous searches, groping and harmful radiation scans in order to feel more “secure.”

TSA=Totally Stupid Airheads. This is an agency that has quickly outlived its usefulness. The good news is we found out how useless it is pretty early in its life, whereas most of these useless agencies exist for several decades before they are outed. Hopefully, there will be either a reform or a decertification of the Thugs Standing Around.

The real problem is that America now has a communist president who, with the aid of his “czars”, from the first moment that he took office has had the goal og dismantling our countrys defense, values and traditions…..what else would one expect from an American hating communist/muslim ???

      • Jukebox

You forgot to mention that he hates American Colonialism, which came directly from his Kenyan father.

        • Wanda Murline

Which is where he was born by the way. Some day the American people will find out that this imposter never was eligible to be the POTUS … and at that time, there are going to be trials for treason for people like Reid and Pelosi and some in the CIA who know very well that he is not a Natural Born citizen of the US…that he was born in Kenya.

          • JC

Adds up. He was never meant to be an “American” pres. He’s here to help usher us in to the NWO. An American might have mixed feelings about doing that, so strategically speaking…he’s perfect.

          • Rick Quill

On the question of where Obama was born….whether in Hawaii or some foreign country is mute I believe. However that fact that his father remained a citizen of Kenya and never became a U.S. citizen is NOT mute and is basis for removing Obama from the Presidency. You see, at best Obama is a “dual” citizen and, according to the Constitution, is thus ineligible to hold the office of POTUS. Look it up. There is an amendment in the Constitution that specifically addresses “dual citizenship” and prohibits any such individual from holding office as POTUS because their allegiance to the U.S. would be of question. And I think it’s fair, safe and obvious to say that Obama has NO allegiance to America. I mean, face it, this is the guy who turned his back on our national anthem during the primaries. Not to mention all the anti-Israel policies he’s shown as well as his sabotaging of our efforts in the war on terror by wanting to try gitmo detainees in civilian courts, not taking a stance against the mosque being built on ground zero, and his obvious end-runs around the U.S. Constitution with all his Czars and the attempts to nationalize american industries and corporations. Enough is enough and the best hope we have, as Americans, is that the new congress set to take over in 2011 will have the veracity to begin impeachment of this traitor.

I worked in Hawaii as an RN for almost 10 years. The prez’s grandmother lived down the block from Kapiolani Hospital. Why has no one ever come forward from that hospital, or any other, and stated that they remember this birth? No nurse, doctor, aide, housekeeper, NO ONE! Sorry folks, it just doesn’t wash. I also had a friend who had been one of Chiyome Fukino, MD’s private patients (Head of the Hawaii Dept of Health). She commended that Dr. Fukino would say and do anything that she was told to say or do, don’t know if that’s true or not. Not sure about this either… if a parent is a Hawaii resident, that child can be issued a Hawaii birth certificate even if born elsewhere, and the birth can be published as a local birth??? Anyone know for sure? Also, don’t forget that the grandmother was in some kind of governmental position. Convenient.

        • Teresa

          The great mystery…………..

WHO IS HE? Ever wondered why no one ever came forward from
Obama’s past saying they knew him, attended school with him, was his
friend, etc. Not one person has ever come forward from his past.
          VERY, VERY STRANGE..

This should really be a cause for great concern. To those
who voted for him, you have elected the biggest unqualified fraud that
America has ever known Sort of adds credence to the idea of The
          Manchurian Candidate thing happening here!
Let’s face it. As insignificant as we all are .. someone
whom we went to school with remembers our name or face … someone
remembers we were the clown or the dork or the brain or the quiet one or the bully or something about us.
George Stephanopoulos of ABC News said the same thing during
the 2008 campaign. He questiones why no one has acknowledged the
president was in their classroom or ate in the same cafeteria or made
          impromptu speeches on campus.
Stephanopoulos also was a classmate of Obama at Columbia — the
class of 1984. He says he never had a single class with him.
While he is such a great orator, why doesn’t anyone in Obama’s
college class remember him? And, why won’t he allow Columbia to release his records?
Looking for evidence of Obama’s past, Fox News contacted 400
Columbia University students from the period when Obama claims to have
been there, but none remembered him.
Wayne Allyn Root was, like Obama, a political science major at
Columbia who also graduated in 1983 In 2008, Root says of Obama, “I
don’t know a single person at Columbia that knew him, and they all know me. I don’t have a classmate who ever knew Barack Obama at Columbia. EVER!
Nobody recalls him. Root adds that he was also, like Obama,
“Class of ’83 political science, pre-law” and says, “You don’t get more exact or closer than that.” Never met him in my life, don’t know anyone who ever met him. At the class reunion, our 20th reunion five years ago, who was asked to be the speaker of the class? Me. No one ever heard of Barack! And five years ago, nobody even knew who he was.
The guy who writes the class notes, who’s kind of the, as we say
in New York, the macha who knows everybody, has yet to find a person, a human who ever met him.”
Obama’s photograph does not appear in the school’s yearbook and
Obama consistently declines requests to talk about his years at Columbia, provide school records, or provide the name of any former classmates or friends while at Columbia.
NOTE: Root graduated as Valedictorian from his high school,
Thornton-Donovan School, then graduated from Columbia University in 1983 as a Political Science major in the same class that Barack Hussein Obama was supposed to have been in.
          Some other interesting questions..
Why was Obama’s law license inactivated in 2002?
Why was Michelle’s law license inactivated by Court Order?
It is circulating that according to the U.S. Census, there is
only one Barack Obama but 27 Social Security numbers and over 80 aliases.
The Social Security number he uses now originated in Connecticut where he is never reported to have lived.
No wonder all his records are sealed!

          • Alaskasense

Which is why it is so critical that every state have a requirement that a candidate for president demonstrate his or her eligibility for the office before the name can be placed on the ballot, or even registered for a write-in. This must be done before 2012, and must include incumbents.

They do have such, what the issue is ~ that not a single Governor nor state ATT General nor Congress nor Senate person did their job and “vetted” Barry Soeotor. Instead they moved your focus to Mac&Cheese.. Learn the games players, understand the END RUN.

Now ask yourself why that is. When you can with a straight face and logic only, answer the question the answer will be the same; “FRAUD was commited on a grand scale.”
            Why? Who’s behind it?
The answers again are all within the pool of intel you have.
Who controlls all the worlds MONEY?

Who can make the Queen of England wait on them?
Who can tell the UN to do something and it gets done?
Who profits no matter how dire the issue?
Who owns the land your home is on?

The Answer is very simple you see their name’s posted here all the time.

If you need more help, ask who did Strong work for, and not the UN, who’s behind Global Warming, Cap & Trade?
            The HCR bill?
Who owns all of Europe? ~ By that I mean all of Europe.

Just one family name will come up, and even be so wealthy that they would be number 1 on the Forbes list, yet have never graced the pages of that rag.
Start with the US war of 1812 do your own work and look for the name that comes up as the “Loan grantor” to the US Government.
Its really very simple and all anyone has really looked, will know open your eyes the view is not pretty, nor is its vulgar it just is what it is.

You see Pandora box was opened with the Internet, and now that tool has become a liability and needs to be closed down.

And no; George Soro is not the KING, he only works for the KING and so to does Barry Soetoro.

            Have fun.

Oh look into David Icke and you may stand a chance of making this a faster game. David has done all the leg work for you, so once you get past the Dragons etc. and thats not all that far off the mark if you have ever looked into Puma Punka, just look into Eric von Daniken.

Look deeper and wider in scope, step out of the BOX. Aka your prison cell.

“The mind is like a parachute it has to be OPEN to WORK.”

          • old white guy

teresa, why is this ahole still siging bills from the senate?

          • Rick Quill

Teresa, you make very good and valid points which begs me (at least) to ask…..has anyone asked if they remember a “Barry Sotero”? Islam requires that anyone who “converts” to Islam to change their name to an Islamic name. e.g. Muhammed Ali when he converted in the 60′s. Also keep in mind Obama’s raising……..from age 6 to 10 he was raised in Indonesia and, in accordance with Indonesian Law, as a Muslim. From age 11 to 17, when he lived in Hawaii, his closest friend, confidant and mentor was one “Franklin Marshall Davis”. Davis was, perhaps, the most prominent member of the American Communist Party in the Pacific region. Let’s also remember something that Obama wrote in his own book regarding his faith. To paraphrase, it said in effect that if religion or his faith should ever become an issue that he will side with Islam. One last point here that, for those who don’t know, Indonesia has been the world’s “LARGEST EXPORTER” of “RADICAL ISLAM” for decades.

          • Zeromonet

So many claim that Obama’s birth certificate was on the net for everyone to see. Yes, it was but with an exception: the birth certificate was short form, not the full certificate. When my children played sports or went to school I had to prove they were citizens with a copy of a FULL FORM birth certificate. What gives? If you can be US president without that but a child couldn’t play sports, Things have turned upside down, inside out and bottom up.

          • JohnK

Thanks for the name, David Icke. It’s been very eye-opening to visit his site.

Any terrorist now knows just which airports to send 20 or 30 through with a very high chance of getting through.

Seems to me that information should have been kept quiet.

      • natalie

Well, now that I’ve read most of ya’ll’s comments I can say thank you, well stated and we may as well pray and enjoy every Christmas and day of life as we know it. Why should any of us believe the TSA even knows what the radiation risks are- or what they give as answers? They are a bunch of loser pervs as are most of the “Czars”…. and why would the Rebublicans cave like that after a big win? They make me sick and I pray people vote them the hell out in 2012.

        • barbara

We better be finding some qualified people, or we’re going to be handed a slate of hand picked candidates to give us the illusion we have a choice.

    • Awakened

Agreed, Kevin. I’ve said this before, and here it comes again. DISMANTLE the TSA. We don’t need them. Merry Christmas!

      • barbara

        Along with the IRS

    • old white guy

kevin, it is a government agency. we will all be dead before it is.

    • EddieW

Hopefully ron Paul’s new attempt in the house, to force TSA to treat people with dignity!!…no naked body scanners, no groping!!! the TSA – Total Sexual Assault should be gone if this bill passes!!!

  • Martin Fee

I need to call BS on this ABC story. No one FORGETS where they put their loaded Glock Especially not a regular traveler and REPORTER. You know where you gun is every minute in case you need it. Also unless your laptop bag is your normal carry bag I do not see putting a gun into it as it could damage the laptop.
Then again the way the TSA IGNORES anyone who looks middle eastern while concentrating on John Smith or Mary Higgens maybe it did happen if so it only happened because of the Democrats insistance on Political Correctness even if it means our lives

    • Wanda Murline

It is amazing that the only ones to get this “leaked” information was ABC…they have not been an investigative news agency since Obama was elected by the fools of America. This was leaked on purpose to further try to get America to accept losing their right to illegal searches and seizures as provided by the Constitution. Hopefully, change is acoming in January….real change for America and not against America.

      • barbara

Ever notice how often the news media uses the word “fear”. During 911 you couldn’t count the number of times it was used…and I never ONCE heard a citizen say they were gripped with fear. The American people are not naturally fearful…we are can do type people. It’s a government/media brainwash program to paint us that way to help the propagators of 911 justify Homeland Security and all the other freedom robbing garbage.

    • LiarsMustBeDefeated

I’m happy for you that you never have a forgetful moment. I hope people who carry guns have better memories than that. Nonetheless, your reasoning does not hold up. Second error of fact is this. Guns are not dangerous to computers simply by being in the same bag. I can’t even imagine where that idea came from. It sounds to me like a scary story designed to intimidate and scare people that don’t think very deeply. In that way I agree with Wanda Murline. You can’t make things better by adding more lies and deceptions to the existing lies and deceptions. People need to grow up and start thinking like adults and not like children or sheep.

      • http://?? Joe H.

I believe he was talking about the weight of the gun if it happened to get bounced against the laptop!! We ALL know there is no harm in a gun being placed in a bag with a computer!

    • Roger H.

Martin, what you say about forgetting a loaded gun sounds reasonable…until you are out in the world, flying airplanes, flying in airplanes, conducting business meetings. Being a pilot I can tell you these things do run together and people do forget. Pilots flying airlines discover they are in foreign countries and all their documents are home on the dresser. They don’t even have the paperwork to get home, but fortunately they can usually get their documents forwarded.

Whether what the man says is true of not is something else, but to me it is completely believable. But to repeat, being believable does not make it true.

Fortunately I still fly myself. I only have to keep track of my and any passenger’s stuff while flying stateside. I haven’t set foot in an airliner since I retired. Once I’m too old to pilot, I’ll drive or be driven. OTOH I think the high price of gas will solve the work load of the TSA and if/when the US dollar is no longer the world currency the price of gas will be so high our airlines will be far less busy because our gas prices will be up there with those in Europe. (Better get those alternative energy sources ready…soon!)

Saddly as I have said many times now a weapon is only as good as the person who knows how to use it. Thus weapons are on airplanes daily that can be used to do just about anything in the right hands.

Yet these weapons are ushered through with out issue daily but countless thousands of people. Yet again odd is it not that other than the alledged diper boy as well the “TRUTH” about the 9/11 2001 attacks all seem to lead to “False Flag Ops.”

Yet we were able to start a Whole new Government “BIG BROTHER POLICE” unit to aid in population manipulation and control to gain more insight into the everyday life of the US Population.

All the while making everyone cringe at the level of alledged
threats, be they yellow, orange, or heaven forbid RED.
Can we say The Boogie Man? Yes how sad that a Government who’s only job is to keep our country safe from Invasion, has to stoop to manufactured BOGGIE MEN to hide their nasty deeds of looting the American tax payers of Life & Liberty.

Why? ~ Well as anyone who has eyes to see with – gray matter to dissect problems with to expound a logical explanition after such, its really quite clear.
Please do yourself a favor – look up the Monument to the “New World Order’s” game plan, The Georgia Guide Stone.

If I need to explain it to anyone your not all that smart now are you?
Thus Perhaps some remedial class’s in LOGIC may help you.

“The mind is like a parachute, it has to be OPEN to WORK.”

    • Teresa

      very well stated

    • Wanda Murline

If the government wanted to keep our country safe, they would be doing something about the border and the illegals that have invaded our country.

      • Vicki

        Wanda writes:
“If the government wanted to keep our country safe, they would be doing something about the border and the illegals that have invaded our country.”

If the government wanted to keep our country safe they would HAND US OUR GUNS BACK.

“A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. ”

Thats right. It is OUR job to protect ourselves from invasion and to keep us secure. Our forefathers KNEW this. We have not so much forgotten as had the truth washed from our brains. Probably by Public Education.

        • barbara

We are the only Caucasian country left whose guns have not been confiscated……think about it.

      • IKeepYellingAnyway

It is standard military procedure — has been since before wars were written down: you make sure your area is secure. THEN you eat, rest, clean your gun, tighten your bow, sharpen the spearpoint, call your friend, whatever. First, secure the “perimeter”– the area around your men & stuff.

A few years ago, I attended a Memorial Day service in my small town. The featured guest speaker was an Army official waaaaayy WAY up in the upper levels of the Pentagon. He said the usual stuff that is said at these things. Afterwards I shook his hand, thanked him for his service, told him my family’s long proud history of serving in the military, & asked him, “Sir, there’s something that puzzles me. if we really are ‘at war’, then why aren’t we securing our perimeter? — I’m thinking of our southern border.”
He IMMEDIATELY looked straight down at his polished shoes, hesitated a long second, then looked at me & said “I’m sure there’s more that could be done.”
I understood. That is military-speak for “If the order was given, more could be done.” Until orders are given, nothing happens. So, we can know that by default, the current standing orders are to let the illegals through.
        Enjoy paying your taxes !

Right now our greatest enemy is Satan and his army…our greatest tool is God, we only need to follow his word…open your mind and heart and he will lead….
Be vigilant in your studies for they are your guides and they will lead you straight, and they are self explainitory.
Satans army runs strong and comes in many forms….but there is only ONE God.

Posted: “Right now our greatest enemy is Satan and his army…our greatest tool is God,”

Satan is the creation of christians. I don’t believe such is real, either the christian god or their invention of satan.

          • http://?? Joe H.

you sure your name is really Thomas??

          • barbara

Read your Bible. Satan is not the invention of Christians…he was in the garden… Actually before. God is the author of Christians, not visa versa. But don’t worry about it, If God is not real to you, there’s no need to fret over something that’s not real. He is definitely real, but God is our God, not your’s, so don’t get all shook up. Satan will enjoy having you not believe. It will make his day, because you just admitted to worshiping him, and that’s what he’s wanted from the beginning. Joshua said “Choose you this day whom you will serve, as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” You serve whom you will.

        • barbara

The state of our politics clearly show how angry God is with us. If you forsake God and his commandments, He will forsake you. You lose your umbrella of protection, or hedge. You lose your blessings which come with obedience to God’s commandments, and instead come under the curse , leaving yourself wide open to the devil to do as he pleases. You become the tail instead of the head, and foreigners will rule over you. The Bible teaches this from beginning to end, that is why Satan and all our enemies do not want the Bible taught in school. It would educate us to what is happening, and deliver us. If God be for us, who can be against us. But if he isn’t…look out. I say, we’d better wake up, repent and get real.

      • TIME

If it were only that simple. Saddly its far deeper than a Cult, its so deep that when people really do wake up they may ask how did I ever fall for this?

The answer is; if you hide the truth in plain sight and use the media to spin a “Dog & Pony” show the people will be busy watching all the funny tricks, and trying to unravel a ball of yarn thats been glued together with silly string.

Keep in mind the old adage, the bigger the lie the more will believe it. Our media has been bending, distorting, and creating news for well over 100 years now.

Look into the Pentagon 9 /11 / 2001 ask yourself one question, how is it possible that not a single piece of airplane was left, yet two paper drivers liciences were found in perfect condition both from the alledged Perps, yet these were found out side the building and 275 yards down from the crash sight.
Yet No BLACK BOX was found? No airplane parts of any kind were found?

And is it not strange that the bodys of the passengers were all intact?
Again when facts don’t align one must question what is being told to them. You and I have been lied to in such a blantant way that its a Crime.

But if that all fails to get you thinking, ask this question where’s the missing Three Trillion dollars that was noted just days before this alledged crash? Strange how the plane hit the very room where all the computer banks were located?

Or how any pilot asked will tell you they could not have done the flight job of hitting the Pentagon. Yet your to believe that some half baked nitwit with who couldn’t even get a Pilots licence in a small air craft was able to fly a jet air craft 500 plus miles per hour and pull 8 G’s on a turn and hit a building just 5 feet off the ground?
Again look into the size of the hole the alledged plane made its was less than the size of a garage door…
Add the puzzel up and what you will have to see is the TRUTH was not told to you nor anyone else.

        • Old Man in The Hills

Way back in the days of 911 I heard two stories about the attack on the Pentagon that stuck out. One said the plane was vaporised and everyone in it. Then we were told the bodies were identified by DNA, which apparently was not vaporised. Does not compute. And today I just read that all the bodies were intact. Where did that come from?

Apart from the small size of the hole this big aircraft is supposed to have fitted into, how were the jet engines vaporised? Nothing gets hotter than these engines in flight, so how were they vaporised? 911 was set up to save Bush. The Gulf oil spill sure looks suspicious all over the world and with Barry on the beach brilliantly picking up an oil ball and declaring “This is what they are finding all over the place,” without even needing to look at the prompter (idiot board), Amerika is going to see another 911 to save his ass.

  • Restless_Native

Considering the truth of Operation Mocking Bird, and the uses of all main-stream media as propaganda tools. It’s no surprise the those on the iceberg, below the waterline, will submit more and more freedom in exchange for tyranny. The TSA is just of many arms of a an oppresive octopus being used against those who were granted certain inalieable freedoms by their creator, to try to make them weary enough to submit. The truth is that no matter what they impose the free will always be free, of mind and spirit… they can’t take those things from us, unless we let them.

the tsa has educated idoits that are like frank love to grope you.

  • Jukebox

What can you expect from these people who are the epitome of incompetence? Janet Napolitano told Dianne Sawyer there were 364 days a year they were on duty, and the NSI head on that same show was dumbstruck when asked about terror threats in London. They looked worse than the Keystone Cops, and certainly not as funny.

    • RME KRNL

Let’s see, we have a DHS Secretary who doesn’t know how many days there are in a year, a TSA Director who persists in using high-intensity scanning devices which show a person’s nude body and expose people to high irradiation but which don’t even detect some liquids or plastics, a VP who thinks FDR’s fireside chats were conducted on TV, a prez who thinks we have 57 or 58 states and an arrogant Democrat Congress which doesn’t listen to the American People.

Oh, yeah, I feel safer now. What a bunch of bozos!

  • Rusty

I have an idea. Why not have everyone with a police record get screened and all appropriate orifices inspected and those of us who are law abiding citizens, can go to a special area and get pre-screened for “all” our travels. Then walk away with a certified badge for safe flying. That would keep us and our children from having to be screened so intently. And that would compute to easier traveling experiences. Only those who are justifiably scrutinized would be put out at the line. No wait a minute. Instead of a badge. Why not a mark on our hand or our forehead. We could call it the mark of the beast. Since, this administration and everyone in our government is so HELL BENT on the ways of the AntiChrist anyway. But, of course we could always just pick out our enemies by the way they look, talk and act and tell them they are not allowed to fly on our planes. That seems like a much less expensive way to do it. But, then again, when has our government ever gone the least expensive way?

    • Aloha

      Hi Rusty,

Several years ago you could have computerized iris screening done. It was supposed to eliminate screening each time you got on a plane, then it disappeared. Guess that esteemed elected official in Florida couldn’t get enough money for the process, so he figured a better way to line his pockets.

    • Hi Desert ED

Gotta call FUZZY THINKING on this one.
Anyone who has ever received a moving violation while driving has “a police record”.
Now, if you want to specify that convicted felons should be subjected to such additional scrutiny you have another problem. Unless the person is on parole, your singling them out for “special” attention is a direct violation of their civil rights, on the generally accepted legal theory that they “have paid their debt to society”.
Same goes for misdemeanors. Do you really think that sending every person who has ever had an outstanding warrant for parking tickets would make us somehow safer, or withstand a court challenge?
The only acceptable solution should be to de-fund the TSA. The House of Representatives originates all funding authorizations. Take away their money and you take away their power.
All of the documented redundant programs need an immediate reduction in funding, If each program that shows up on a duplication of effort listing had an 20% year over year reduction in funding we could start to reduce the national debt and achieve a balanced budget.

      • barbara

Unfortunately, we will soon have a whole new class of “criminals” I think the list is already made up. The laws are catching up with it daily. Do you have a garden…better not plant any un -genetically modified seeds. According to our new S510 bill which our new Republicans just allowed to be tacked onto a funding bill, that makes you a criminal. People have already been fined. The conglomerates now own the seeds, and genetically modified seeds won’t reproduce, and are’t healthy either. Ruin the bread basket, and bring on the dictators. Ie: Mother Russia…starved into capitulation, over millions of dead bodies. Some of those Marxists migrated to Columbia as professors ..the seat of journalism…..

  • Carlucci

For all we know, that middle easterner who “forgot” his Glock was in his luggage (yeah, right) was working for the TSA, so they could have a “false flag” to (1). Justify their existence, and (2). Step up more of the radiation and molestation. Don’t be surprised if John and Jane Q. Public are subjected next to cavity searches. And some sheeple are so stupid they will agree to it!

    • Bob M

But it doesn’t justify the existence of the TSA, it shows how worthless they truely are. A .40 cal Glock is NOT a small weapon easy to conceal.

      • Bus

That is if any of the story is true. Get rid of the government agency and have the airports hire private security companies that will be motivated to keep the planes safe because they are being paid to do the job correctly

        • SaneRepublican

you mean like Blackwater in Iraq? they did such a great job that they had to change their name in order to get future contracts.

you mean like the Halliburton subsidiary that built housing for our troops in Iraq that were electrically unsafe? you remember those, don’t you? they were the ones where our troops were getting electrocuted in the shower.

“profit-driven capitalism” does not equal “better results” …. irresponsibility exists in all economic systems.

i figure you would have learned that by now with all the for-profit companies that got bailouts and are not doing better than ever.

          • JC

So your point is – Let the Government keep doing it?
            Thought you were “sane”.

          • Vicki

Every one of your examples is a government operation. So tell us again how having the government be incompetent leads to the government being competent?

        • RME KRNL

Agree, agree, agree. How much taxpayer money would be saved, I wonder, if the TSA just went away?

  • bear

“Those who give up freedom for security, have neither.” Thomas Jefferson. “The price of freedom is constant vigilance.” Freedom is not free.” All of us have heard and read these quotes many times……….yet it just doesn’t seem to sink in. The 911 attack gave this government and the SOROS machine the perfect crisis to affect more control over the people of this country and, in fact, the whole world. The Muslim extremist are indeed winning their jihad against us. We are becoming, more and more, the cowering sheeple they want us to be. If we, as a people, want our freedoms back, we’ll have to fight for them and I don’t mean just at the polls. We need to get rid of Soros machines like the ACLU and we must make our leaders insist on profiling ALL Muslims and all Middle Eastern looking individuals. If you had a problem with a Rattlesnake biting your dog, you don’t go out looking in your yard for grass snakes…….or would you? That seems to be the kind of logic the government uses……..or, wait a minute. According to the way the government thinks, you should erect a concrete barrier and hire someone to monitor all snakes coming onto your property. Yeah, don’t single out what you know to be the problem. That would be politically incorrect. We need to insist that ALL Muslims be inconvenienced at least as much as we are. Remember, deceit is a commandment of Islam as we have observed from Obama.

  • Tom

The REAL problem is that an overwhelming percentage (~80% — ???) of Americans support these “security” measures.

    • JC

      Oh come on! ;)
Everyone is safe in a police state…until you meet a policeman that is…
I’ve never felt LESS SECURE than I do now with all these alphabet gangs protecting me.

    • independant thinker

Do not know where you are but around here I know of NO ONE that supports the un-patriot act or TSA non-securoity measures.

  • Joseph

It’s a question of risk managment, flying will always have some element of risk. Does TSA reduce that risk substantially? NO!
It increases the risk with radiation etc. etc.
    Terminate TSA!

    • Vicki

Simple risk assessment shows that I am more likely to die in an auto accident on the way to and from the airport than I am of dying in an airplane accident. And I am MUCH MORE likely to die in an airplane accident than in a terrorist attack on most anything including an airplane or a building.

I think I will choose to not be afraid today. You should too.

Oh and be sure to tell our Congress that we are NOT afraid and they should stop being afraid on our behalf.

  • mrfixer

Sorry, but my latest bumper sticker idea is ” It’s Too Late” This totalitarian system has been growing right in front of us since the beginning of the Federal Reserve. Whoever controls the currency, controls the people. Like the frog in the pot who doesn’t know the temperature has gone up, we’re cooked.
As I’ve seen elsewhere on the internet, “We had a Republic, but we lost it” Our Constitution has been eroded from within. All that’s left is a “Glorious” facade.

    • http://?? Joe H.

I have been seeing a lot of the ones that say “don’t look at me, I didn’t vote for him!”

  • Ann Mere

I believe this article. I have a collection of ancient coins and iron age/bronze age spear points. I meant to put the spear points into my check-in luggage, but I forgot and left them with the coins in my carry-on.

They were not caught by TSA as I took 4 flights across the USA. I’m glad TSA did not find them, because they are historically valuable to me. They sure find bottles of water though.

    • Bob M

Sure all that groping builds a powerful thirst!

Since its beginning TSA has captured/stopped “0″ terrorists, but they have groped too many little girls to count.

  • http://Yahoo Jack

The argument over gun control goes something like this. “We have to keep guns off the streets or people will be killed.” Yet the criminal justice system release the criminals back out onto the streets everyday.

This is the same mentality of the so called Security system. We are looking for Bombs instead of Terrorists. Bombs don’t make themselves, they don’t transport themselves and they don’t explode themselves. Focus on the terrorists!

    • JC

      One word: Profile.

      • CJM

I agree, JC. It’s the most sensible solution available–and it works.

      • Teresa

      • JC

It would work on the Southern Border too. If only we had a Federal Administration that would do its job. Instaed they go after State’s Rights by taking to a “world court” for human rights violations.
        What absolute traitorous absurdity.

Don’t put up with this unconstitutional garbage! Boycott Flying ENTIRELY until sanity returns! Please join us on Facebook:

    • Vigilant

The Facebook site says, “Airlines need to realize that we are paying customers and deserve to be treated with courtesy, dignity and respect.”

Your thrust is entirely misdirected. If you can tell me how a boycott will make TSA change any of their ways, you might have a point. All you’ve got is a way to make the commercial airlines suffer.

      • JC

And make the TSA redundant…ok they’re already redundant. But no customers would have them groping each other for a paycheck I guess.
And according to today’s logic the airline’s are probably “too big to fail” anyway. So no worries there.

Boycotting air travel will have them ALL howling.
And maybe that’s what is required.

        • http://?? Joe H.

I’ve read all this stuff about boycotting flying, but I still don’t see any suggestions on how to do that if you work for somebody that requires you to fly and you don’t want to lose the ability to eat or pay your gas and electric bills? My wife has 26 years invested in her job and doesn’t care to lose it. Her employer requires her to travel to europe about five or six times a year. Please explain how SHE would go about doing this!

          • JC

If only recreational flyer’s stopped, it would have an impact.

          • IKeepYellingAnyway

My sympathies to your wife. I suggest she look at chartering flights. Obviously I dunno how much advance notice she gets regarding her trips abroad, & that may be a factor in how successful she is at creating alternatives. Is it possible she could charter a small (4-seater) plane to fly into Canada, & fly from Canada to Europe?

  • jopa

Sounds like ABC is getting as goofy as FOX with there outlandish bull.Remember when Fox tried to feed the American public about Obamas trip to Europe.Yah he went with 45 warships, 24 jets, it cost 85 million dollars a day and so on.There were actually a whole lot of people that beleived this bogus story that was an Indian newspaper political farce that Fox reported as real news.

  • CJM

TSA is nothing more than an agency of perverts who are getting free lessons on how to sexually molest innocent people. The whole agency and its mother, Janet Napolotano, need to be ousted from the realm of our government. There is no reason for a “Homeland Security” agency; we have enough protective devices through our military, CIA, FBI, and ICE—if that nutbag in the WH will let these agencies do their jobs as noted in the job descriptions and agency design descriptions. If this keeps up, we will be seeing children being legally molested as they board the school bus on a twice daily basis or whenever they travel via school bus to field trips and scheduled games. I have one thing to tell you Napolotano and TSA: Keep your xxxx hands off my kids and don’t even try to touch me. Who do these people in the current administration think they are? They are unelected persons serving an illegally elected President and destroying our Nation every day. IMPEACH OBAMA AND CLEAN THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATIO’S CLOCK.

    • Vicki

      CJM writes:
“TSA is nothing more than an agency of perverts who are getting free lessons on how to sexually molest innocent people”

      Complete with hands on training.

  • Rex

Wake up sheeple! The REAL reasons, I believe, that are behind this TSA problem are two things. One, it is a test of the government to see just how far they can push us Americans. And two, it is to intimidate the American people into submission. Soon, and coming attractions is the fall of the American financial system, replaced by a One World currency. Once this happens, a new political system will probably take place and launch us into a New World Order. Face it sheeple, this is NOT the US of A I grew up in. This is some other country that I know not of.

    • Vigilant

Face it. If TSA adopted the Israeli procedures of profiling and baggage check, which so many seem to be advocating, you’d be making the same claims about gov’t intrusion. The “flying experience” would be much more time consuming.

    • Vigilant

BTW, a one world currency is a myth and will NEVER come about. You think the experiment with the Euro has worked? Wake up.

      • Richard Pawley

NEVER is a long time. There have already been meetings held to discuss this and the USA was not invited. If we can’t stop congress from squandering all they can borrow then it is only reasonable that something will have to replace the devalued dollar. Some nations are already using SDR’s (or Special Drawing Rights) for some international tranactions. It has been my experience that it is best never to say NEVER! The U.S. Treasury is current printing or creating 75 thousand million dollars a month out of nowhere and this is not helping anyone overseas to believe we are serious about saving the dollar. I sure wouldn’t want to sell any goods I had for dollars unless I could get rid of them fast. However, don’t worry, because everyone else in the world is trying to create money so they can still buy from us and sell to us. I can’t tell you when the dollar will die but I won’t be surprised, but as Brazil has said, we will take down the entire world economy when we tank it so we will all suffer together but this might not be for some time yet. Still I won’t be surprised if I live to see it, and I hope I am 100% wrong!

  • eddie47d

Too much poppycock from the jabberwockies on this site. You complained for years about the lack of security and how easy it is for terrorists to gain access to air travel. (Richard Reid ,Umar Farouk) You blamed Obama for for Umar getting on the plane when Obama had no control over Umar’s actions. So what do you expect when you attack for political reasons. You hype up the fear of terrorists, then attack those who react to your fears and who hire TSA agents. I personally don’t want X-Ray scanners at the airports and would like to see them go but airport security is here to stay. Would anyone fly if there wasn’t any security? Where you’d have to take your chances of greater risk? So who’s paranoia is worse, yours or the government? I’m also in favor of pre-approved ID’s for frequent flyers on a yearly basis. There is also a video on U-Tube (ON Deadline) that shows a women who is forced to sit in a public open area in her bra and panties. Passengers and TSA agents are standing around. Can’t tell how real the video is but if it is then certain TSA agents should be fired. We can have security and decency but not what was shown.

    • Carlucci

If it was the pretty blond woman in black underwear, she did that on purpose to protest the TSA b.s. I saw her on Inside Edition.

  • Bob

All of the terrorist attacks have come at the hands of male Musslems between 18 and 35 years old. Maybe, just maybe, if we would start profiling these people, the “peaceful” Musslem community would be upset enough to start outing the ones who are a threat. Maybe!

    • http://?? Joe H.

      I doubt it!!!

  • Howard R Gray

The TSA is a rigid security screening system so obvious that it will be easy to subvert as appears to be that case. No amount of patting down or x-rays will change that. If you can see it in all its detail it can be subverted and that is all there is to it.

Some version of the Israeli system would be far superior. Prescreening by the public attached to passport information, if voluntary, would allow large numbers of regular travelers to be categorized as low risk, in principle that would be the majority of the population. The TSA system does not recognize this fact, it assumes all are guilty of terror tendencies which is patently absurd. The sheer scale of the target for the TSA is so large they are bound to fail, it is unfair on us to expect anything more than failure.

The whole airport security apparatus, and that is what it is a hick apparatus, couldn’t be a better example of the government getting it wrong. The sheer lack of intelligence both in terms of applied wit and the gathering of information will lead to perdition. The process is rigid, devoid of any heuristic adaption, it is incapable of responding to anything that happens outside its zone of control and that is precisely why it isn’t effective. The shocking statistics of failure are to be expected and nothing much has changed, even public nudity doesn’t have much of a prospect of increasing security, there is a dire need to apply some rational brain power here not political correctness and mind blind behaviour.

Recommendation, scrap the TSA as presently constituted, reorganize and create a covert and overt airport intelligence and protection system. Security needs to be heuristic it needs to adapt and constantly learn from the intelligence it has to deal with. There is no need to be so invasive of the person, but there is a need to be aware of the potential threats and that means profiling and developing data on those who wish us harm.

  • Schnitzlefritz

We just need to all fly naked and there would be no need for the TSA.
Modesty has left this country years ago,so we either impeach the leach or call in Allstate for the screening activities. You are in good hands with Allstate.Lets take back America the hard way.Shoot all the lawyers.

funny how you people weren’t whining about the TSA while Dubbya was Idiot-in-Chief. your silence was deafening.

many of us were pointing out the joke that was Bush’s “Security Theatre” way-back-when. but we were called “unpatriotic” for it. so-called “conservatives” like yourselves kept on defending the TSA as defenders against terrorists….but now there is someone you hate as President, you’re all over the TSA like “white on rice.”

you people would have more credibility if your outrage were more consistent.

btw, i didn’t vote for Obama….but i was stupid enough to vote for Bush either. just imagine how better off we would have been if McCain won in 2000. he might have actually paid attention to the intelligence reports and stopped 9/11 before it happened, and all this nonsense could have been avoided.

    Why This Gigantic “Intelligence” Apparatus?

The top-secret world the government created in response to the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, has become so large, so unwieldy and so secretive that no one knows how much money it costs, how many people it employs, how many programs exist within it or exactly how many agencies do the same work.

[We] discovered what amounts to an alternative geography of the United States, a Top Secret America hidden from public view and lacking in thorough oversight. After nine years of unprecedented spending and growth, the result is that the system put in place to keep the United States safe is so massive that its effectiveness is impossible to determine.

Some 1,271 government organizations and 1,931 private companies work on programs related to counterterrorism, homeland security and intelligence in about 10,000 locations across the United States.

An estimated 854,000 people, nearly 1.5 times as many people as live in Washington, D.C., hold top-secret security clearances.

In Washington and the surrounding area, 33 building complexes for top-secret intelligence work are under construction or have been built since September 2001. Together they occupy the equivalent of almost three Pentagons or 22 U.S. Capitol buildings — about 17 million square feet of space.

Many security and intelligence agencies do the same work, creating redundancy and waste. For example, 51 federal organizations and military commands, operating in 15 U.S. cities, track the flow of money to and from terrorist networks.

Analysts who make sense of documents and conversations obtained by foreign and domestic spying share their judgment by publishing 50,000 intelligence reports each year — a volume so large that many are routinely ignored.

In my 41 years in Radiology (X-Ray)I experienced radiographing patients, for medical examinations, using HIGH doses of x-rays -in 1952- to very low doses – in 1993 – for the SAME type of examinations. Until I see you, or some person with radiology experience, produce and publish the ACTUAL dose that a traveler receives in going through the scanners, I will hold all other information in question. The NEW image intensifiers that are in existence today produce VERY low doses of radiation. So where is the information coming from that says that travelers are being over exposed by x-rays? Get a Radiation Health Physicist to check the ACTUAL exposure and report that information.

  • Philip Camacho

All I know is that they hire the most inept misfits you can think of for those jobs. And they have a total lack of people skills. When I fly out of LAX, I look at them, and it’s like someone just pulled up on skid row in a van and said “hey, want to work at the airport, get in, they’re hiring.” I feel like just telling them “who the hell told you you were important?”

And the U.S. Immigration Officers they have at the airport when you get back home aren’t any better. A bunch of foreign-borns who can’t speak English worht sh*t and seem to have a hard-on for American-born citizens flying back in.

  • blv54

I don’t know why everyone is looking for better ways to stop terrorist LOL the government isn’t worried about terrorism actually they could care less about planes being blown up unless it helps their agenda for getting rid of our pesky rights, were going into a hard core police state and we must be trained to obey, don’t drink the koolaid that they are worried the cave guys are going to attack, the cave guys only attack if they are ordered to by the CIA, these are the last good days we’ll probably ever see it’s all downhill from here because these are the last days predicted in revelation, just depend on God and have a merry christmas everyone.

  • Roger H.

I have not set foot on a commercial airliner since the new rules went into effect. We already are exposed to far more radiation than is safe. Add to that the indignity of being groped by some poor low wage employee who dislikes doing it as much as you do…(I hope!)

I can still fly my own 51 year old airplane even IFR, but my age is getting to the point were I’ll probably only be able to do that for another 10 years.

BTW in a 51 year old, single engine airplane I can still beat (or match) the airlines times from central Michigan to Denver or Orlando and that doesn’t take into account the new security procedures that add even more time.

    • IKeepYellingAnyway

Roger, put an ad on Craig’s List or Facebook & you will retire a rich man. People want and NEED both mobility and privacy. I would pay you the usual airline ticket cost, without the usual amenities (pop & peanuts served in-flight, etc), & share the ride with a few others — & be as happy as a clam at high tide.

I see no reason why the TSA thinks that their way is the only way, when the Israelis have had 100% success with their methodology, which is less intrusive. In addition, no matter what the TSA says, they are indeed putting at risk the lives of people with suppressed immune systems, as these individuals are more susceptible to germs (the “gloved” hands of the gropers and to the radiation from the body scanners. To put it in perspective, this includes individuals who have had an organ transplant or HIV.

Knowing many things about “Harmful” radiations–I question the use of
totally “Unqualified” government Operators, who never “once” informed
scanned passengers of the “Dangers” of X-ray radiations-! The use of
any X-rays around the human-eye–can cook the delicate tissues, toward
even partial-blindness-! (Do you see anyone given out eye-protection
shields-!? No-? That’s “strike one” against safety!) Surely, most of our citizens’ have had an X-ray, before-!? Have you seen any “lead-
coated” aprons-!? (All X-ray techs wear one, and then, step-out of the
X-ray room–just before the X-ray is shot-!) Ask any Dr–Why the
“lead-apron”-!? (The true hurts–”Because of the “Known-Danger” of being “Sexually-Sterilized” & rendered permanently childless-!) And
then, I asked–”If this is a real “Danger”–why are you attempting to
“Sterilize Children” under twelve years old-!? This is “Strike two” against the rules of safety-! If sun-ray radiation can cause “Cancer”,
isn’t X-rays more concentrated, & more likely to cause “Cancers” Yep-!
That’s ‘Strike Three’ against human-safety-! As I recall, the Nazi’s
used the same X-rays to “Destroy” Jewish Womens’ Ovaries, during the
Holocaust-! In 1937 thru 1939, I saw small X-ray cabinets in Shoe Stores such as “Buster-Brown’s” & others, which showed foot-bones in
the Kid’s Shoes outlined-! The AMA Doctors convinced Congress that
X-rays were dangerous to Kids–& had Congress “Out-law” their use from
then on-! They were all removed in 2 weeks–by Law-! If they were
declared as a “Danger” then–What makes them–less of a “Danger” now-!
And what is the name of the “Idiot” that repealed that Law-! Who are
the “Qualified-Medically Trained” X-ray Technicial Operators, now-!? Shouldn’t we Yank their Licenses-when they do not inform the risks to the Public-!?
