County Offers Overnight Stays In New Jail
LINCOLN, Neb., (UPI) — Officials in a Nebraska county are offering overnight stays in a newly constructed jail for $30 donations.
Lancaster County officials said donors will be allowed to spend the night Thursday, Friday or Saturday to help the county ensure everything in the facility is functioning properly before it is put to its intended use this summer, KFOR-AM, Lincoln, Neb., reported Tuesday.
The donations will be given to Operation Santa Claus and the Child Advocacy Center, officials said.
