Cinnamon Good For Defense, Prevents Offense
Researchers from the University of Illinois at Chicago have found that cinnamic aldehyde, which is obtained from cinnamon oil, actually decreases the bacteria in your mouth that are the culprits behind bad breath and gum problems. Since there are more than 90 million people who are plagued with chronic bad breath (or halitosis), cinnamon, such as in gum, can be a lifesaver.
Actually, it really can be. A recent American study has discovered that taking a cinnamon extract supplement each day may help reduce your risk of diabetes and heart disease. It does so by boosting the body’s antioxidant capabilities to help fight metabolic syndrome.
The fresh taste of cinnamon will provide your body with a good defense and also prevent your breath from creating a bad offense.
