Unidentified Source Claims Government Wants Public To “Feel The Pain” Of Sequester

Not only did the White House shut down public tours in order to create an extremely public example of the sequestration pain President Barack Obama spent the past several weeks warning about, but it is now revealed that top officials of Federal agencies could be doing their part as well.

With sequestration looming, U.S. Park Services employees began putting together a plan to make cuts while having the smallest negative impact on public services possible, an unnamed U.S. park ranger told Fox News.   But, those plans were overruled by agency supervisors who instead told park staff to cut “interpretation services” such as special events and educational talks and tours provided by park rangers.

According to Fox, the incident was isolated to one region of the U.S. and a Park Service spokesman said he “never heard of guidance given like that.”

The projected cut to the Park Service under sequester is 5 percent over seven months.

“It’s obvious that they want the public to feel the pain in order to push this agenda that Washington wants,” the unidentified ranger told Fox. “A lot of these parks can absorb these cuts without the public’s visit being affected.”

    Amazingly and per usual …all elected officials haven’t taken one pay cut throughout this financial crisis, as a matter of fact they have voted themselves for higher pay scales.. so HOW would they understand what the middle class has truly lost, and how could they make good decisions for the greater good? Sequester?? yeah ok!

    Of course the government wants the public to “feel the pain” of the cuts. After all, they certainly don’t want to feel the pain themselves! In fact, ALL cuts that I can remember have affected the public first. It is their way to attempt to convince as many citizens as possible that they need to raise the taxes so they can spend more money!

      They also rent everything we “own” to us. They only call it property taxes. After all, if they can seize what we own for not paying those taxes, then it is obviously a rent. And if they can “rent” those things we work for and buy to us, then obviously they own everything, including us, and we own nothing.

    It is quite obvious that Obama predicted that with the sequestration there would be many layoffs and many shut downs and much pain and suffering and he is doing his dead level best to fulfill his prediction. Too bad he is failing. Too bad for him that we all see through his actions.

    Far as I’m concerned every moment he’s in Washington, D.C. it’s a pain.
    Bill Clinton told us he could feel our pain.
    Obama needs us to feel our pain too. That’s the basis of his tenure and infernal legacy.
