Personal Liberty Digest™ was recently ranked No. 1 among libertarian websites by Patrick McEwen’s Top Libertarian, a website dedicated to shining light on the top libertarian links, tweets, websites, Twitter accounts and Facebook pages.

Launched in February 2012 by McEwen, an aspiring libertarian political writer and analyst, Top Libertarian ranks the top websites offering information about libertarian issues based on unique visitor and page view Web traffic.

According to the website’s analysis of the most current month of Web traffic data provided by the Web ranking service Compete, Personal Liberty Digest™ is ranked first among top libertarian sites.

Here are the top 10 Top Libertarian picks:

Personal Liberty Digest ™ was also ranked at 41 out of the top 100 conservative news outlets based on an analysis of Alexa web rankings by the news aggregation specialists at Red Flag.

Bob Livingston began his mission to empower his audience with information beyond what is available from the mainstream press via a simple newsletter more than four decades ago.     Let’s see, a website launched barely a year ago by an “aspiring” libertarian political writer and analyst ranks the top websites offering information about libertarian issues “based on unique visitor and page view Web traffic”. And PDL comes out on top and PDL crows about it? How nice. Sounds a bit like a “you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours” deal. I’ve been looking at web stats and conservative and libertarian “rankness” (OOOOPS, I meant “rankings”), and there are a lot of different ways to look at the data. Is someone cherry picking? What does “ANALYSIS” of the data on the other web tracking services tell us?

THE OTHER TYPE OF CONSERVATISM IS BASED ON DEVELOPING THAT TYPE OF IDEOLOGY, REGARDLESS OF AGE. SO, “Right Brain Thinker,” PEOPLE WHO HAVE “NATURALLY” CONSERVATIVE VIEWS BECAUSE THEY ARE SENIORS ARE MORE LIKELY TO LISTEN TO TALK RADIO – NOT, PARTICIPATE IN ONLINE DISCUSSION. SO, THIS PHENOMENON HAS AN IMPACT ON THE LEVEL OF CONSERVATISM EXPRESSED ON SITES LIKE, Personal Liberty Digest. MOREOVER, YOUNG PEOPLE – IN THIS CASE, MIDDLE AGED – ARE THE ONES WHO PARTAKE OF THE VARIOUS ENTERTAINMENTS OFFERED BY COMPUTERS.

      SO, THIS “unique” WEB TRAFFIC IS CREATED BECAUSE COMPUTERS ARE LIKELY TO BE ENJOYED BY A DIVERSE GROUP OF PEOPLE WHO ARE EDUCATED AND LIVE IN URBAN AREAS. HENCE, INCREASED WEBSITE RATINGS ARE DUE TO CAUCASIAN SENIORS HAVING THEIR FIRST EXPOSURE TO “URBANITES” WHO WERE NOT RAISED TO GO TO CHURCH, ETC.
