Hypocrisy Served With Rice

Hypocrisy Served With Rice
PHOTOS.COM

There is no limit to the hypocrisy of the Administration of President Barack Obama. The latest example is the “green” President’s candidate for secretary of state, Susan Rice.

The Democrats have been hypercritical of many Republicans for lining up against a black woman who is Obama’s choice to replace Hilary Clinton to oversee the U.S. Department of State. The race card has once again been tossed into the ring.

Congress’ top-ranking black lawmaker says he suspects Republicans are pillorying Rice, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, because she is black.

Criticism of Rice began after her Sept. 16 comments regarding the Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya. Rice said the attack began as a “spontaneous reaction” to an anti-Islamic video widely watched in the Muslim world that had also set off protests elsewhere.

Later, we learned that simply was not the truth. According to the State Department, the attack that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans was not some spontaneous outburst but a well-executed attack organized and launched by a terrorist cell of al-Qaida.

Many right-thinking Americans were outraged by Rice’s characterization of the Libyan attack, including Representative Jeff Duncan, R-S.C., who penned a letter to President Barack Obama saying Rice’s public comments after the Benghazi attack “caused irreparable damage to her credibility both at home and around the world.”

According to the letter, which was signed by 96 other Congressmen, Rice “either willfully or incompetently misled the American public in the Benghazi matter.”

It said replacing Secretary of State Hillary Clinton with Rice as “the face of U.S. foreign policy” in Obama’s second term “would greatly undermine your desire to improve U.S. relations with the world and continue to build trust with the American people.”

Democrats Play The Race Card

Representative James Clyburn, D-S.C., along with other black Democrats, say upset Republicans continually use variations of the word “incompetent” to describe Rice, a Rhodes Scholar and former senior fellow at The Brookings Institution.

Clyburn, who is the third-ranking House Democrat, told The Washington Post that the Republicans’ choice to be critical of Rice’s remarks is one thing, but calling her incompetent amounts to using racial “code words.”

“We in the South know what that means,” he said. “I take offense when people use those words. I have a problem with them. They are going to disagree with Rice’s politics, but if they do, just say she’s wrong,” Clyburn told The Post. “When you apply the word ‘incompetent,’ that personalizes this thing, it goes beyond politics, because it’s about who and what she is — it’s character assassination.”

If you accept Clyburn’s logic, you can’t say a black person is incompetent. If you do, you are making a racist remark.

And Clyburn isn’t alone in his beliefs. Congressional Black Caucus Chair Marcia Fudge suggested Rice was targeted by the GOP because of her race as well as her sex. (The Democratic Representative from Ohio must have forgotten that the GOP nominated Sarah Palin for Vice President four years ago while a black woman, Condoleezza Rice, was George W. Bush’s Secretary of State.)

Last Wednesday, The Baltimore Sun weighed in the Republican challenge of Rice:

Approval of nominees to cabinet positions is by law the prerogative of the Senate. Certainly the president is entitled to his opinion as to who the nominee should be, but at the same time the Senate is required to state that he has made a mistake.

The president is not omnipotent; he is human in his choices which may involve political considerations and even bias. The Republican Party not only has the right but the duty to question his judgment on any of his cabinet selections, much less one that helps establish our foreign policy.

The Real And Very Rich Susan Rice

Before anybody starts feeling too sorry for Rice, it is important to understand what is really going on with the Democratic Party.

It is politics as usual for the Democrats to portray Obama, a former community organizer on the mean streets of Chicago, and the first lady as people who want nothing more than to help the downtrodden. This fairy tale ignores Michelle Obama’s J. Mendel cap-sleeve jacket that cost $6,800, her $540 Lanvin sneakers or the fact the first family vacations in the ultra-exclusive Martha’s Vineyard.

But the secretary of state, the Nation’s core representative to the world, should exclude politics. And the facts indicate that not only may Rice be incompetent but the Democrats are not being honest about her ability to be an honest broker — especially when it comes to the Mideast, which is in as much or more turmoil right now than it has ever been.

Rice would be the envy of anyone in the oil patch that I have ever met. This poor black woman holds tens of millions of dollars of petroleum stocks locked into a portfolio that makes her look a lot more like J.D. Rockefeller than Rosa Parks.

If this hypocrisy weren’t enough, much of Rice’s money is betting on the future of Canada’s oil sands.

On Earth reports that one-third of Rice’s personal wealth is invested in Canadian energy interests, much of it in Canada’s oil sands industry.

This seems a major conflict for Rice, who has royally screwed the pooch when it comes to reporting honestly about the Mideast.

As her confirmation looms, it is important to remember Arab sands sit atop two-thirds of the world’s conventional oil reserves. Ensuring security in that region won’t be a financial concern for Rice. She has most of her money locked up safely in 12 Canadian oil sands companies — companies that will benefit greatly from a Mideast meltdown.

Planes, Trains And Pipelines

A wonderful movie to watch during the holidays is “Planes, Trains and Automobiles.” In a classic scene the uptight character Neal Page, played by Steve Martin, turns around while sitting on the freeway beside his newfound and troublesome companion Del Griffith, played by the late John Candy. The car that Page believes Griffith rented with his own money is on fire.

“You finally did it to yourself,” says Page laughing.*

In the case of Rice, the Democrats may have finally done it to themselves. Rice’s personal fortune is backing Canada’s oil sands, an industry that is of vital importance to the United States. And while African-Americans in the Democratic Party are enthusiastic to champion her as the future secretary of state, the Greens are not — and for good reason. Huffington Post reports:

(Rice) would oversee the Keystone XL pipeline proposal if appointed to lead the State Department. But the pipeline review isn’t the only environmental issue the next secretary of state will have to handle.

Clinton said earlier this year that energy is a top issue and that the U.S. is reshaping its foreign policy to reflect that. She created a new office within the State Department to deal with energy issues and launched an initiative to attack “short-lived climate pollutants.”

In a recent report, E&E’s Lisa Friedman called Rice’s climate change record “thin,” pointing out that she has done little to fight global warming (this woman can’t be all bad). Friedman quoted Frank Loy, who served as undersecretary of state for global affairs in the Administration of President Bill Clinton, as saying: “She doesn’t have much of a record on climate change issues because they haven’t been really the issues she felt were her job to promote.”

So if Rice is confirmed, there could be silver lining in a dark cloud, if only because she is one of the few Democrats who understand that the Mideast is not a trustworthy supplier of crude oil. Then again, she might be every bit as incompetent as some Republicans say. With the situation in the Mideast the way it is now, that is the last thing that America can endure.

Yours in good times and bad,

–John Myers

* Note: It is fun to remember that in the movie “Planes, Trains and Automobiles,” Steve Martin’s character only thought that John Candy’s character had rented the car. It turned out that Candy’s character used Martin’s character’s credit card to rent it.

you people are so funny and full of laughs. I love reading your paranoid opinions. I cant wait for the military to line us up and take us over to the concentration camps you think Obama is creating for his coup of the american government. You people will never get enough bat crazy people together to elect anyone President. Best to pick a side, either Republican or Democrat and choose the lesser of two evils. I know most of you will say I am not republican, but you sure do like to talk about democrats as socialists, communists, and whatever else you call us. My point is this…..what were the crazy people here saying when Bush said there were WMDs in iraq and started a war there we didnt need and couldnt afford. SO much so that he didnt even fund it on budget. Then Started another war in Afghanistan we couldnt afford and put THAT one off budget too. The cost of the two wars dont show up in Bush’s budgets. He passed Medicare Part D, another ENTITLEMENT you people so rail against and again…..OFF budget. He gave two tax cuts while putting us in two wars and didnt off set them with spending cuts…..so here we are, 10 years later, with massive deficits, and a whopping debt and you want to blame the next guy who gets elected. Obama put these expenses on the books. I think 10 or 20 years from now, after Obama has been out of office for a while and the scope of his accomplishments can be seen and measured, he will go down as on of the great ones, regardless of what your paranoid minds think. Benghazi, while a tragedy, is not really the fault of any one person. These diplomats know the risks of what they do and they accept those risks. Just as our military knows that on any given day, they can be made the victim of a roadside bomb or a sniper’s bullet. NO ONE wants to see any Americans killed, no matter how or where. And that includes Comrade Obama.

        Bill says:

“How much do you get paid”

So? is that the only explanation that you can think of and glide right over the message of Johnny’s posting?

        Words never so truer stated?

You make claim of not being GOP while you speak of venomous hatred of the left.

You claim to demand smaller government that respects personal freedom that is to lord over personal human reproduction functions is defense of the not born as the cost to the born host.

You claim of being Conservative and attempting apply it to “others” while leaving yourself out of the equation,

You detest the entitled while wishing it for your own.

Let’s face it, ~ today’s self proclaimed “conservatives” are a walking contraction of jumbled up emotions that can not define themselves while they spend their days attempting to redefine and label other’s.

Yep, it pulled the apologists out of the woodwork.

    • http://tlgeer.wordpress.com tlgeer

So was Kris Kristofferson. What’s your point?

  • Laith

Why did Ambassador Rice say what she said?
One possible explanation for the incorrect statement the ambassador
made on the talk shows after the attack in Benghazi is the
presidential campaign; President Obama touted his success in killing
Bin Laden and dealing a major blow to Al Qaida. For Al Qaida to come
back and attack our consulate and kill our Ambassador along with
others on 9/11 no less would have tarnished the President’s
    achievement.
What I still cannot explain is why it fell on Ambassador Rice to make
those statements, which had nothing to do with her post as Ambassador
to the UN, and not a member of the President’s intelligence team couldn’t they find an
expendable official in the State Department to make those statements

    • Deerinwater

It’s pure political fodder Laith . ~ McCain has lead out with attack and it’s been echoed about by the right. ~ WHY????

Where McCain is wanting the job to be offered to someone else or just wanting media print that describes McCain as leading an attack, who’s to know for certain?

We need to be mindful, ~ this blowup comes in the wake of a stinging GOP defeat and the need to change the subject and appear in control is strong among GOP pundits today and why I call it political fodder.

While some suggest there is more too it ~ attempting to make it a “Grass Knoll” issue.

I do not know that much about Ms. Rice, other than she is bright and well thought of as being capable to hold down a key government position while she is not the only one.

I see it as a distraction, an attempt to take the people eyes away from something else.

    • Deerinwater

As far as any hypocrisy ~ after Condi Rice, press lease of aluminum tubes and mushroom clouds instilling fear and repeating disinformation to the American people and then to roast Anita Rice for reading off a CIA report that was crafted to cloak what the CIA didn’t know as the press hungry to know “something” ~ is hypocrisy at it’s finest!

  • http://www.gov-truth.com Ed

It would appear here that IN FACT Mr. Clyburn is the racist. Incompetence was offered as an alternative to treason, which is simply aiding the enemy. Ms. Rice lied knowingly to the US and the world public from one ofthe most powerful (public relations) platforms in the world. She intentionally tried to mislead the world about the intentions of our declared enemy. Barack Obama did exactly the same thing, about the same thing. This is all a nightmarish joke. Just admit that you (Obama) are a Communist and that you have taken over the USA. Be done with it and let life proceed.

  • Liberterian

Rice has too much bagage and should never be a consideration for the Secretary of State position. One should pick the best qualified and not the one that you want to make a statement with or act simply to prove a point.

What truly scares me more than the illegal, lying, Muslim Kenyigar, is the number of uneducatied, ignornant fools that supposedly went to voting polls in Nov. 2008 and 2012!!!
Do we really have that many freeloaders thinking the gravy train will always be running???

    • Johnny

seriously………..if you paid attention to MITTENS, he lied every time he opened his mouth….he switched positions at one point or another on every single major issue and didnt have any kind of a firm position on anything other than the fact that he wanted to be President. His allegiance shifted depending on who he stood in front of, he LIED in the debates and you people hated Obama so much that none of that bothered you as long as he won. Republicans wanted someone without any convictions that could be their rubber stamp for any stupid legislation they want to pass. And they still dont learn. Now Michigan REPUBLICANS are trying to weaken unions and same for others in the GOP…..you run on one thing and then when you get into office you do something else that wasnt a part of your campaign

    • http://tlgeer.wordpress.com tlgeer

      “illegal, lying, Muslim Kenyigar”

The only people who still believe this are the insane. There is such a mountain of facts that prove, without a doubt, that Obama was born in Hawaii, and that he is a Christian, that it takes a whole lot of plain denial to believe otherwise.

Look up what the State of Hawaii had to say about Obama’s birth certificate (don’t look up Arpaio, he has no proof of anything, he’s just grandstanding as usual.), look up what all the officials in Hawaii have to say about where Obama was born. Look at what reliable people (not the crazy’s at wnd, fox, breitbart, or any of the other extremist sites) have to say about where Obama was born and if he was ever a Muslim.

      • BR549

tlgeer wrote: ” There is such a mountain of facts that prove, without a doubt, that Obama was born in Hawaii, …..”

And you’re so sure of that that you’d bet your house on it? I didn’t think so.

I voted for Obama in 2008. Since then, I didn’t just put convenient pieces together to support a flimsy believe system. I looked at his actual record instead of his promises, his having attended Bilderberg (twice), his blatant continuation of the Bush era wars and assaults on the Constitution, and for 2012, I just couldn’t support him again. The man was not who he said he was.

You also stated, “The only people who still believe this are the insane;” referring to Obama’s eligibility. Now, why would a presidential candidate wait so long to produce proof of his eligibility and also need to spend a million dollars in legal fees defending an issue that would have been so simple to prove?

When Arpaio’s group went to Hawaii to view the original, they were denied access, even supervised access, yet when questioned on the issue, one of the heads of the records department stated how it was so easy to retrieve birth documents. Arpaio’s group was told that it was difficult getting the records together.

So, that leaves the general public split into several groups. One, where voters have become so disgusted with politicians on both sides of the fence that they just flat don’t give a crap anymore; two, where voters are left wondering what the real forces that pushed this guy Obama into office and what was THEIR intent; and three, those voters who will believe whatever the corporate owned media pablum that is being shoveling their way.

Personally, I don’t care if he’s black (obviously, … since I voted for him before) and I wouldn’t even care if wasn’t a citizen, if he somehow made it through the system unchallenged, as long as he considered himself an American citizen and fought to preserve the Constitution. Despite his claims to have studied the Constitution, and having seen his past performance, it was only to find its weaknesses.

For anyone to sit back and smugly sit back and assert that their party is the only one that can save this country, whether on the right OR the left, only demonstratee how effective the propaganda has been and that this decline in morality, increase in debt, illegal surveillance of the population, and inability to get out or wars has been.

As long as people keep viewing the election from the election level seats, well, I guess they get the view they paid for, which is isn’t much, but having looked at the patterns from WWII and earlier, and throwing in the influences of the Rockefellers, Warburgs, Carnegies, etc., it becomes clear as hell what direction we are being led in and it isn’t pursuing capitalism through a constitutional republic; it’s the gradual takeover of the once strongest country in the world by international banking families looking to find whatever false messiahs they can come up with to lull the masses into a state of complacency. They should be proud, at least, that their system is so far working.

      • http://tlgeer.wordpress.com tlgeer

“And you’re so sure of that that you’d bet your house on it? I didn’t think so.”

Actually, yes, I would bet my house on it. You see I know what a legal vital record consists of. I have been dealing with them for 30 years. I, also, know what the laws regarding them are, as you quite apparently do not.

“You also stated, “The only people who still believe this are the insane;” referring to Obama’s eligibility. Now, why would a presidential candidate wait so long to produce proof of his eligibility and also need to spend a million dollars in legal fees defending an issue that would have been so simple to prove? ”

He didn’t do either one. He produced his valid, state-certified, state-issued BC long before the 2008 Presidential election. But a bunch of idiots decided that it wasn’t real, that it was fake. And they came up with some very strange ideas of why it was fake. Unfortunately, they were not only wrong, they were so far off the map it was ridiculous.

As for money spent by the Obama campaign, it was to settle up the bills that came from the campaign itself. McCain’s campaign did the same thing. Are people stupid enough to say that McCain spent all that money covering up documents that weren’t public in the first place? Of course not. None of Obama’s vital records, school records, passport records are public documents. And the general public does not have a right to them. Not in any way.

“When Arpaio’s group went to Hawaii to view the original, they were denied access, even supervised access, yet when questioned on the issue, one of the heads of the records department stated how it was so easy to retrieve birth documents. Arpaio’s group was told that it was difficult getting the records together.”

No, Arpaio’s group was told that they didn’t have the right to them, even after the officer’s tried to make it seem that this was an official investigation of a crime. They were not able to back that up with facts, so they didn’t get a copy of the bc. Plain and simple.

        “decline in morality”

lol A decline in morality is a personal decision. Anyone who thinks that this can be legislated is just plain not thinking.

When Obama is 75 years old then, and only then, will the general public have the ability to get a copy of Obama’s birth certificate. Until then, you are out of luck. Period.

There is, however, a national system in place to verify US bc’s. A state that wants to verify one, logs onto this system, types in what the subject of the birth certificate said, of showed. The state that does this will get a message back from the requested state whether that information is correct or not. Arizona got the message from Hawaii, using this system that said that is was accurate. Educate yourself, instead of just blindly believing what other people have to say. Especially if they are anonymous and/or have no verifying evidence to back them up.

Riigghhtt! Ever the apologist. Excuse me for taking so long to respond; I was laughing so hard I had to change my shorts. There is no point in covering previous ground with you, because it’s apparent that whatever you’re using for information sources is so slanted as to be more libtard mumbo-jumbo. It’s as slanted as the NeoCon mumbo-jumbo.

You might have at least tried to listen to the people who were directly involved in the investigation because they were not as you portrayed them. Rather than assume that everything negative you hear comes from the likes of Rush, Hannity, Beck, or that bunch of baboons, there ARE, believe it or not, people who are just plain sick and tired of the lies from both sides. I’m one of them.

The sad part is that you seem like an intelligent person, yet you are so blindly in lock step with the Democrat party line that you can’t register any input unless you have your BLUE glasses on and wearing your secret Obama decoder ring.

There was plenty of money in the diplomatic budget to react to the security needs of the facility in Libya. Instead, a concious decision was made at the highest level to not draw attention to the threat and hope that it would just not be a problem. Unfortunatley, our people put their trust in their government and were left to die when there were hundreds of signs of trouble well in advance. Hillary and Barrack have blood on their hands and Susan Rice helped try to wash it off.

    • Smilee

You gave a whole lot of them code words in your post, showing us sweetie that your a bigot and a racist

    • Mable8

@Barb: Being from the South, the senator from SC is on his own. No DECENT, LAW ABIDING SOUTHERNOR would ever consider “incompetent” as a “code-word for racist” as he claims. Face it, the senator of SC is a communist/socialist piece of nothing and he falsely assumes he can speak for all of us. We are Patriotic people, love our country, and depise those who would cast a slur of any kind onto our US Constitution.

    • eddie47d

Barb should be more concerned about the Aryan Brotherhood and a few other white racist organizations who spread hate.

Pretty obvious the statements she initially made were what was funneled to her by those responsible for getting updates to the Oval Office. She’s no different from any other public person who relies on others to confirm information before passing it on. No big deal and it matters not what her skin color is. She’s educated, accomplished and like her predecessors smart enough to build a portfolio that’s quite impressive. So what? Have any other Secy’s of State come into their positions poor? Gone out wealthy because of having held that position? The answer is no.

So why all the hellraising about a very intelligent capable woman who is more than likely going to be the next SOS. Pipe the hell down and focus on what’s happening with that fairy tale Fiscal Cliff and Right to Work [expletive deleted]. If WWIII is declared red states and blue states will be giving up bodies “for the cause.” When that happens every affected family will get their attention pointed in the right direction instead of playing these dumbass black/white games.

As it is we’re a laughing stock of the whole world–with one exception as of yesterday– a multi-colored/multi-ethnic crowd of 15,000 raised their voices as one against Right to Work in Michigan. How about doing something for We The People instead of behaving like the Hatfields and the McCoys? Race hate isn’t going to do us in crooked “public servants” way up top are and guess what? The doing in is integrated. Working hard, being deprived of a pension, having CEO’s waltz off with pension money isn’t happening to one segment. It’s happening to people from all walks of life and the thieves aren’t focusing on the race card.

Like Madorff the liars and con artists are ripping of any and everyone regardless of race, creed, color, religion, ethnicity or political affiliation. Now that’s what I call a unified BOHICA. Wake the hell up and start behaving like Americans. Obviously the House and Senate have forgotten how–and those along with how they’ve forgotten about you and me.

One of the more telling observations that can be deduced as it pertains to
the behavior of the “talking hominid” is the desire for “immediate answers”
to questions for which there is insufficient information available to provide an
      accurate assessment.

Historically, this condition has never resulted in the “admission” of the lack
of any information, regarding the pressing need to know, what is not known, and
“just the facts, ma’am”, is never sufficient.

We take you now to the scene of a “live” press conference in an alternate reality,
where the first “crash” ( ever ) of a passenger aircraft, has just taken place.

“Ladies and gentlemen, we have just received “information”, that Pigeon Airlines,
Flight 345.25 has just crashed in a remote area of the Arch Duchy of Gran Fenwick.
      We will now take questions.”

      “Were there any survivors?”

“We do not have that information at this time.”

“Do you know what caused the crash?”

      “Yes.”

“Will you tell us what is was?”

” Our experts on the matter have concluded that “gravity” was responsible.”

      “Are they certain?”

” To within a 99.9999999999999999999999999% probability, give or take.”

“We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming.”

This blog is typical of the small minded and petty GOP pundit’s rantings. So John Meyers, you are in the same league as Paul Morris and Carl Rove. We have learned from the election that most of what they say is not factual but political and ideological. This fixation on what Susan Rice said, on a few days into this tragedy is very similar to the inquiry in the fast and furious with senator Isis. The GOP are fixated on an issue that they think that they can gain political capital and they seem desperate to win on some issue. Little do they realize in their pig headed ideology that this is not a winning issue and they should have let it go, as they are not going to gain anything by beating this issue ad-nausea. There are much more important issues that need their full concentration like the fiscal cliff.
Susan Rice would be a more than qualified secretary of state for the USA. Certainly better than John McCain. He stood up in congress telling them that Saddam had WMD’s and was instrumental to send America to war in Iraq and they knew that was a lie. If you would rate these two politicians as to the severity of their lies or misinformation then McCain would get a 100 and Susan Rice about a 10. So who is McCain to criticize Ms. Rice.
As far as going on about her investments and net worth as well as vacationing in cape cod. My god. Just add all of the other politicians that put their fortunes in oil and other questionable investments. I do still think that Americans have freedom to invest in what ever manner then feel. Isn’t it the GOP mantra for more freedom? haha what hypocrites. Did you complain about Bush and Cheney having shares in oil companies and Halliburton during the Iraq war. My god, this was much more sleazy. So get off your high horses.
GOP this is a dead issue. Let it go.
One of the reasons that McCain and company are beating this dead horse if to get Senator John Kerry to give up his senate seat and therefore the state laws would have to temporarily install past Senator Scott Brown into the Senate. This would give the GOP one more seat in the senate. As usual the GOP rants are not on cause but based on political motives. Will you guys never give up? You lost the election. One big reason is the nasty political moves that you constantly conjure up. This turns off many independents. Its the old adage that a good politician is a lie-er and a cheat and when he is not kissing babies he is stealing their lollypops. Tricks and underhanded things that the GOP are capable of doing is unbelievable. Please get on with the jobs that you were elected to do. Govern the country. get to work and earn your paychecks.
You GOP pundits should have learned after getting all of your predictions and lies during the election to back off and eat some crow and be truthful for a while. I know that your income is based on getting the dander up on the faithful right patriots. I also know that this blog is slanted to them. But give us a break. How stupid do you think that the American people are? This is from an independent that is just sick of listening to the GOP pundits, living under the bubble. Take my advice and leave Susan Rice alone!
We would have much more respect for your opinions if you didn’t insist on keeping silly topics on your daily rants. warm regards. Nick Czudy

“But the secretary of state, the Nation’s core representative to the world, should exclude politics”

Correct. The President should be able to decide his Cabinet..the Senate ‘advises and consents’ to the appointment. Note the letter which Mr. Myers highlights…as well as Clyburns statements, are from the House…they have no dawg in the fight except to lob bombs and make political hay and headlines.

When Bush II nominated Bolton to the UN position, Bolton was fried by the sdems. he had no ‘people skills” and was a radical extremist in ideology. Face it..he was a jerk that wouldn’t deviate from ideological purity..not good skills for a diplomat. Rice will face the same frying pan if she goes up for nomination. Such is politics as played in DC these days.

However, benghazi is a bum rap to lay on her. She is the UN ambassador. She was given a script vetted by the CIA. She stuck with the script. Had she deviated…she’d have been pilloried for going outside security cleared talking points. Even if she knew something other than what was being ut out to the media…she coldn’t deviate from the script.

Benghazi is a question. In past posts, it’s been spelled out that something was going on in Benghazi which we may not want open to the public. The Ambassador could have ordered up security for his own protection. he didn’t. It was a closed meeting with former military intel and a CIA connected contractor. Al Qaeda wasted some valuable assets to carry out the attack. For the first time ever, a ME leader went on national TV and publicly apologized to the US (in Arabic AND English). Romney made a big fuss over Benghazi…then he received his intel briefing..and shut up. He never brought it up again.

Put it together. Something was going on at Benghazi, and it wasn’t post dinner dessert conversation over tea and crumpets. If so, it is totally understandable there’d have to be a cover story to protect assets and intel from exposure.

As for her investments in Canada…Myers is correct. Greens are aghast, those who desire neutrality from oil in the ME should be smiling. Bottom line is, she does assure that any stance she takes in the administration towards the ME will be one of neutrality from any hint of financial concerns. Think about that. Not being reliant on Middle East oil gives a measure of independence to her approach of ME affairs.

According to FERC, non-hydro renewable sources (i.e., biomass, geothermal, solar, wind) provided 5.76% of net electrical generation for the first half of 2012. hydro was 7.86%. We went from a 3% energy capacity in 2008 to almost 14% today. In 2012, Alternative energy production was up 11% ovr 2011. Since president Obama took office, Solar increased by 97.2% wind 16.3% and geothermal by 0.2%.

Is neutrality from ME oil a bad thing?

“You see, if I have so much trouble slogging through your Pigeon English, I’m not real concerned that the ignorant people will be able to understand what it is you’re trying to say. “

You found the question. Did you read the book?difficult to slog through?

Do you require a multiple choice set of answers from which to select?

        a.) Yes
        b.) No
c.) I refuse to answer, having read the book, because I would then have to answer
the additional questions that were asked concerning it?
d.) I refuse to answer, having not read the book, because then I will confirm I am
the complete idiot that others suspect I am, for recommending something I have not
read while claiming that it is: “For those who would like to get comprehensive knowledge on the subject of energy:”

Does that make it easier for you, DavidH?

And they’re the only ones who might buy your Socialist message. So why should I bother responding to you?

Which again poses the mysterious “self contradiction” of why “YOU ARE
        RESPONDING?
to tell me, you can’t be bothered to respond.

I am sure the truly “ignorant” here will “admire” another demonstration of
your “intellectual prowess”………as they so often demonstrate the “identical
compulsion” for “mindless contributions”………in the “name of liberty” while conveniently avoiding the “required responsibility” that must be present, in the free exercise
        thereof?

I suppose you can “hope” that what you say is TRUE, regarding the “result” of
the “message”………you may even be “right” regarding it’s acceptance…….
after all “willfull ignorance” is by definition “willfull”.

That which is TRUE, on the other hand, does not require agreement, in the
REALITY which it reveals……….no matter how much HOPE you have invested

The Case against Government Support for Alternative Energy:
      http://www.cato.org/publications/commentary/case-against-government-support-alternative-energy

      • Flashy

DaveH..According to the Energy Information Administration’s (EIA) 2012 National Energy Outlook , the total cost of wind energy without federal tax and other financial incentives is about 9.7 cents/kilowatt-hour. The total cost of conventional coal without federal tax and other financial incentives is about 9.4 cents/kilowatt-hour.

Now add in that alternative will become cheaper as tech and production increases…and you have…wow…break even.

next…see if you can figure this out. Alternative energy . Who says it has to be on the main grid?

      • GALT

Now this “link” actually answers those questions,

“Getting prices right would change the energy status quo but allow actors to find the best option through trial and error with their own money. We don’t know whether alternative fuels (solar or wind), better controls on existing fuels (clean coal), a different mix of existing fuels (more nuclear), or energy conservation is more cost effective, and thus markets rather than government should decide. And even if we were confident about such things given the current state of knowledge, allowing markets to sort through the choices allows for a rapid change in investment patterns should technology change. Markets respond more quickly and more efficiently to changing economic conditions than do political or regulatory bodies.”

        The answer is NO!!!!!!!

The “free market” has given us B.eyond P.etroleum………( which seems to have
magically vanished as a *marketing approach. )

Why is it that the mythology of “economics” in the consideration of “markets”,
would not consider the question of the actual potential for so called “rational or
intelligent” thought among the participants, based on the history of behavior
which is already known to us?

If it was based on the “evidence” of history…….that “governments” exist, seems
to suggest that “rational and intelligent” behavior, is NOT the expected outcome
when “individual participants” are left to their own devices. ( and the result of
“governments” ability to alter this, and it’s failure to do so…….makes the assumption
of any “expectation” of results that would be considered “rational or intelligent”
by “intent”, even less probable. )

In the face of this rather obvious evidence……..can any “intelligent or rational”
person, believe that *free markets…….are the “solution” to anything?

Hypothetically……lets consider a *free market approach, which by necessity
presumes “intelligent and rational” behavior from all participants.

If this were TRUE, why does Alcoholic’s Anonymous exist?

If “intelligent and rational” behavior is a requirement…….or a rational expectation
regarding behavior…….why are there alcoholic’s in the first place?

Pursuing this *free market approach…….just one more step, why are A.A. meetings
not held in “bars”……..after having strayed by some “momentary lapse of intelligent
and rational behavior”……….and regaining it…….since the attendance at the meeting
is an acceptance of the problem…….what difference does it make where the
meeting is held or what refreshments are available?

Given the fact that everything we know about ourselves indicates that there is
no evidence that we have ever acted “intelligently or rationally”……..nor have this
expectation of others………why would someone who was “rational or intelligent”
propose as a solution……..which assumes and requires a condition, something
of which we are not capable of………..to ANY problem, let alone construct
an entire philosophical edifice………based on axiom which is obviously FALSE?

Of course, the fact that such a proposition can be made persistently, might be
indicative of the “rational intelligence” of those who believe it and expect others
        to also?

The only way to truly determine the cost of various alternative energies is to let Private companies invest their own money and then sell that energy to the public without Government involvement. If indeed, that source of energy is cost effective, those companies will make a profit and survive. Those who create an efficient source of energy production will have the added advantage of Liberal customers who will gladly bias their energy purchases toward their pet types of energy production. You know, putting their money where their mouths are, instead of putting OUR money where their mouths are.

most cursory examination, is completely inconsistent and devoid of any connection
        to REALITY!!!!!!

a brief excerpt from the book Econned.

“In 1776, Adam Smith published The Wealth of Nations. In it he argued that the uncoordinated actions of large numbers of individuals, each acting out of self interest, sometimes produced , as if by “an invisible hand,”results that were beneficial to broader society. Smith also pointed out that self interested actions frequently led to injustice or even ruin. He fiercely criticized both how employers colluded with each other to keep wages low, as well as the ” savage injustice ” that European mercantilist interests had “commited with impunity” in colonies in Asia and the Americas.

Smith’s ideas were cherry picked and turned into a simplistic ideology that now dominates university economics departments. This theory proclaims that the “invisible hand” ensures that economic interest will always lead to the best outcomes imaginable. It follows that any restrictions on the profit seeking activities of individuals and corporations interfere with this invisible hand, and therefor are “inefficient” and nonsensical.

According to this line of thinking, individuals have perfect knowledge both of what they want and everything happening in the world at large, and so they pass there lives making intelligent decisions. Prices may change in ways that appear random, but this randomness follows predictable and unchanging rules and is never violently chaotic. It is therefore possible for corporations to use clever techniques to reduce and even eliminate the risks associated with their business. The result is a stable productive economy that represents the apex of civilization.

This heartwarming picture airbrushes out nearly all of the real business world.”

Your only response to this has been: ( paraphrased ) “No one is perfect.”

Which seems to indicate that you are completely clueless as to the implications
of your answer……..do you require assistance in this regard?

Daddy Bush said “Read my lips” and Obama said Obamacare won’t make anyone’s taxes go up and everyone can keep their healthcare. Rice is a proven liar (as is most every other member of the 1% in the D.C. cesspool). She claimed for days and with knowledge that it wasn’t so, that the attack was “spontaneous” and resulting from “a YouTube video.” Her “assurance” is worth less than a fiat dollar.

        Dear Johnny,

You write: “DID anyone here call Condoleeza Rice Incompetent for saying that Iraq was in possession of WMDs when it is clear now that they didnt (sic)?” PLD did not exist until the fall of 2008, so your question is irrelevant. However, in my newsletter, The Bob Livingston Letter (www.boblivingstonletter.com, subscription required) I wrote often of the lies of the Bush administration, including those revolving around the events of 9/11 and the run-up to the Iraq war. You can go back read some of my posts since 2008 and see that I was no fan either Bush, nor their neocon staff members.

You write: ” I dont ever remember anyone saying anything like that about her.” Again, as this site did not exist, what you “remember” is irrelevant.

Couldn’t have put it any better. These green behind the ears partisans will do or say anything their respective party feeds them enough pablum for. The grain-belt bible-thumpers couldn’t see that the NeoCons had hijacked their Republican Party and now these loons are so starry-eyed over supporting Hope and Change that they can’t even see the cookie cutter policies piggy-backing the Bush Administration.

Unfortunately, it will these brain-dead political supporters on BOTH sides who wind up destroying this country because they were both so blindly clinging to past ideologies that they missed the boat on learning about the true intentions of the globalists.

Bush Sr., Rumsfeld, Cheney, and Wolfowitz all came out of the Nixon Administration, secretly pushing globalism behind the voters’ backs, but Carter had over 400 Trilateralist appointments to his administration, further followed by that POS Clinton and now Obama. While the hard core Obama apologists will be arrogantly asserting that all that was true of the Republican Party, they will emphatically deny it to be so of the party they now embrace.

What they (people on BOTH sides of the political spectrum) don’t understand is that they are being used like a two dollar whore in a game of propaganda for world domination. When, hopefully, some day, they wake up out of their stupor, perhaps then this country might have a chance, because if these bozos haven’t learned the truth by the time the UN troops are given their marching orders to come in and “save us”, it will all be over. Many lives will be lost and these morons will have no clue as to how their ignorance had played a necessary part in it all. As you referred to, it has nothing to do with political ideologies. It does, however, have everything to do with corruption and treason.

without commenting upon your “assurances” she is untrustworthy and lyin’ … I will clarify the remark you quote from my post. i was referring to her not being invested in Middle East oil concerns..and that any stance she does indeed tak and advise will not be because she would stand to lose money from having such investments. being heavily invested in Canadian oil concerns, should ensure any stance would not be one calculated to keep the US involved and reliant upon middle East oil …

You write: “I will clarify the remark you quote from my post. i was referring to her not being invested in Middle East oil concerns..and that any stance she does indeed tak (sic) and advise will not be because she would stand to lose money from having such investments. being heavily invested in Canadian oil concerns, should ensure any stance would not be one calculated to keep the US involved and reliant upon middle East oil.” And this makes her “assurance” worth… what?

        Best wishes,
        Bob

Rumsfield covered for G Bush also.I reckon that is what good workers do for their boss. What is should come down too is loyalty to the USA not political party. So what I am after is that Republicans should have tore into those Republicans and yes the Democrats shouldn’t accept everything at face value either. I doubt if anything will change because of this two party loyalty though.

Actually Bob…Mr. Livingston does bring up good food for thought. Age with him or not, it is a solid point to consider. Ms. Rice does not have a good reputation for getting along with her colleagues…one of the ‘rumors’ is the inability to ut much faith in her….assurances to co-workers of confidentiality … IOW … she is known to bring out the knive if you turn your back. Be that as it may, it is DC politics and she plays the game …

Why does the race card has to be used yet again. Couldn’t it just be that she didn’t do a good job in Benghazi. Why put her in a higher position if she couldn’t do the othr job she was hired to do. Obama and his administration lied from the get go and now we should believe him. Nothing has changed to the fact that we have a socialist running the country and he is trying to put nieve people who will just follow his lead no matter where it takes them. It is so said that these uneducated people put him in office again.

    • GALT

So by “nieve”? did you mean:

constant, dedicated, devoted, devout, down-the-line, fast, good, faithful, pious, staunch (also stanch), steadfast, steady, true, true-blue, loyal

      or

aw-shucks, dewy, dewy-eyed, green, ingenuous, innocent, naïf (or naif), primitive, simple, simpleminded, uncritical, unknowing, unsophisticated, unsuspecting, unsuspicious, unwary, unworldly, wide-eyed

by contrast, given your hiring preferences, you would choose:

disloyal, faithless, false, fickle, inconstant, perfidious, recreant, traitorous, treacherous, unfaithful, untrue

      over:

cosmopolitan, experienced, knowing, sophisticated, worldly, worldly-wise?

and if the latter, how can you be sure…..you would be able to
      tell the difference?

        Matt

It is interesting that this past week on the Charlie Rose show he interviews in an hour long interview Bob Gates (former secretary of defense picked by GW and keep on by Obama) who was very clearly stated how intelligent and competent Obama is and that he felt he was well qualified and bragged in foreign affairs he was a great leader. and another night he interviewed Jeff Immelt, the current CEO of General Electric and chairman of Obama’s jobs council whom was even more forthcoming with his praise of Obama both domestically and on foreign affairs and he said after working with him over time he said he is a great leader one whom listens well and is decisive and makes good decisions, is cooperative with business but criticized congress for not doing so and gave examples but the most surprising statement was that he said that GE does business in 140 countries and he did not recall a president that was so admired and revered in foreign countries as Obama he said throughout the world they love this guy. These two men know him very well and have worked hand and hand with Obama and Gates is now retired and a Republican, I do not know Immelt’s political party and they brag about him and then these know nothings on here rake him over the coals in the vilest of manner and say the american people have been duped in to voting for him and other stupid reasons for him being reelected when evidence galore is out there showing clearly they made a great choice. To know this you have to get information from other sources than FOX and all these far right propaganda sites that have sprang up all over the internet spreading all these lies and hate so commonly expressed on this site, This post is not my words but those of highly respected individuals who know Obama well and have worked side by side with him. Open minded people listen to many sources of info including all the BS on here and I believe it was open minded people that voted for Obama and that is the real reason he got four more years.

I am throughly fed up with the race issue and the race card pulled out whenever America wishes to hold someone accountable for their bad behavior. Victim of the knock out game(this is a game blacks on east coast are playing, it entails finding a white man/women and walking up to them and punching them in the face,in many cases these injuries are life threatening) But these blacks who are harming whites are not arrested over fear of ‘offending’ their race! And worked and studied hard for that promotion? Forget it,if your white and the other fellow is black and wants the same promotion, he will get it because of his skin color regardless if he is less qualified. Our country is becoming like Detroit, broken down and dngerous , all because we don’t want to ‘offend’ our tormenters.

    • Paul Wells

Exactly right, hanna…let’s pull the curtain back on the “racist” card, and see what is really behind it. It is there to distort, and distract, and prevent any real dialogue from happening. It is an implicit demand for special treatment, an offense to a lot of people who are no more racist than anyone else. Once the names fly…the thinking stops. And there goes rational, intelligent thought!

      • BELIEVER

The race card makes me ill – ovomit is 50% black and 50% WHITE – what part is being
used – I think if he was purple he would still be incompetent.

      • http://www.facebook.com/tony.newbill1 Tony Newbill

BELIEVER everyone’s blood is red and when breakdown in society happens that is the only thing we see so it should be the only thing we see as the reason why we must find a way to work together for the common good . When we approach life on a positive regardless of the opposition the vibration is a sensation of hope not despair . If this is done on a Local , community level then its effects are immediate , but if it becomes a Top down duty of the Central Planners the Effects are more of a One size fits all , and that creates cracks that doesn’t usually include the indiviudal and some are lost through the cracks .
I know that it seems like we been seeing this happen for a while and its true because our economic system was taken hostages some years ago , I believe it was in 1994-5 with the Passage of the WTO Free Trade Agreement that has taken away our USA economic meaning of Life , its anyone’s meaning in Life , that is to be a self Providing society …… but the Globalists had a Plan in mind when they set upon this journey to consolidate this self preservation system we called our US Economic and Monetary Policy that up until 1913 was controlled by the US House of representatives and we the people made the decisions on how Our Money would be best Spent on creating our needs in our communities !!!! To break these chains that bind us of our economic liberties we must break this hold on our monetary Policy , this is one thing I can agree with Ron Paul on !!!!!

The book is well written and provides a history of how political correctness, tyranny of the majority, rather than the rule of law, has destroyed countless lives in South Africa. Conditions that we are starting to see here in America. Be forewarned…there is still time to avoid cultural suicide, unlike the naive white South Africans, who believed the lies of the communist ANC and Mandela. They are paying the ultimate price today for their poor judgement.

        Dear Kay,

You write: “Col. Allen West should be president.” Mr. West believes it’s the job of the government to detain Americans on a whim and hold them indefinitely without trial (NDAA). He supports secret surveillance of Americans (USA Patriot Act). In short, he doesn’t believe the Constitution and Bill of Rights applies to all Americans. Mr. West is a CINO (see http://personalliberty.com/2012/12/10/no-room-for-conservatives-in-the-gop/). In short, it’s good riddance to him and his ilk.

Jimmy Carter had the highest IQ of any president to date yet his failing was to assume that he was among piers that held noble intentions.

44 has served us well in the cleanup of 43. That this clean-up has not been done quickly enough is for you to believe anything that serves you best.

It’s taking a big 7 trillion dollar handiwipe and a lot of time to clean up the blood spilled of 9,700 coalition forces.

Getmo for example, ~ closing a storage facility that has went about manufacturing criminals and enemies of the West for the last 10 years and now wishes to let them go ~ but go where? As few civilized nation want them after what they have been subjected too and what they have been turned into, known full well, a peaceful existence for them would be next to impossible.

Lets just cut to the chase on why we see the world in so much conflict and lack of Leadership in our Branches of Government , its because they don’t know what to do about the future !

See this is why we see the Governments of the world collapsing Capitalism and the Multinational Fascist Corporations hiding inside the Too Big TOO Fail Temporary Band aid policy calling for Communism .

Ron, are you suggesting some of our media is not reporting what we need to hear? We have F-16′s headed for Egypt and their leadership is known to be terrorist supporters. Martial law has been instilled by their ruler and a new directive for absolute control by the Muslim belief system. If you ever read what they call their bible, it states to kill all infidels! It means anyone who is not Muslim or those who refuse to be. I am more interested in keeping our rights here, but it should be obvious whose side Obama and Rice will support. Not our freedom loving friends, for sure.

Hey close minded idiot, Watch something besides M.S.N.B.C. Open your mind to another point of view, do your own research and make you decisions instead of just sitting back and only listening to those suit you thinking. I listen to all sides and do not see one side always right or wrong. I have my own mind and do my own research and then decide, This is my country and my mind and no one is going to tell me how and what to think. Get the message.

Kay, every time I hear about the so-called main stream media and their so – called obsession with hiding the truth, I think of pages like this, WND, Briebart, and other conspiracy theorist who still believe that the civil war was fought over states’ rights, that Abe Lincoln shot john Wilkes Booth and that Obama and his negro army will take over the United States and remove John Boehner from his bar stool. If the so-called main stream media is so bad, why haven’t truther media made a better showing than it has? Why is it that the only ones who believe the crap coming from the above mentioned continue to do what sane people of both parties pray they continue to do?? Stay on pages like this one and stay away from serious conversation.

Now you know how I felt when the SCOTUS awarded Bush the presidency. Its ok when it happens to others, but when you guys come up short you can’t stand it. Everyone and everything is a fraud. Get over it. You have four more years to do one of two things. Keep up this crap by staying on pages like this, or get out the vote and the message over the next four years. The few of you that have managed to get beyond thunder Dome have managed to screw up congress even more. We did however, for the good of America get rid of that insane Allen West. YOU LOST so stop crying. H. Clinton 2016!!!!!

  • Harold Olsen

Some in the media are still saying it was the anti-Islam movie that was the cause of the attacks in Benghazi. CNN, while doing a story on Rice last week, reiterated that point. So, apparently, no matter what the truth is, the cause, as far as the brain dead media is concerned, was the movie. Obama wants Rice, so they will defend her, and the cowardly Republicans will cave because they are afraid of being labeled racists, a label they already have, so they have nothing to lose, but are too stupid to realize it. Besides, it’s just be another excuse for doing as Obama wants, instead of opposing him as they should do. But, he has become their god and messiah as well.

    • Doc Sarvis

The CNN report that I saw last week was not accepting the idea that the movie was the cause of the attack but that the movie was initially thought to be the cause of the attack.

Rushing to blame Rice for statements she was cleared to make, Republicans are trying to hide the fact that they voted down increases to budget items that would have hardened our overseas diplomatic stations.

      • FreedomFighter

“This seems a major conflict for Rice, who has royally screwed the pooch when it comes to reporting honestly about the Mideast.”

IMHO Rice will not work in Americas best interests, nor will she work for Americans, what her true agenda and determination of where her loyalties fall is up for debate:

BECAUSE she has shown no loyalty to America, except to Obama and herself, or to a communist, and personal greed. She has shown she will knowingly lie to the American people and I dont care if she was purple with glowing pink spots, if it was not a lie, she is incompetent.

Rice had access to classified info showing that the attack was from a terrorist group and had nothing to do with a video. Was she incompetent (by that I mean she is not able to do her job not that she is black) because she did not interpret that information correctly or was she intentionally lieing to the Americans and others? Or did she do it because she was told by Obama to lie and agreed to lie because telling the truth might hurt Obama politically? What was the reason she presented false info?

      • eddie47d

NO they are not Tony. Obama supports the Syrian Opposition Council and no other rebel group at this time. Those shown in your story are not a part of the Council. Maybe you make assumptions like Susan Rice did. Doc reported what CNN actually said not what Harold assumed. I think “Conservatives” are the ones who misconstrue the news to suit their agenda.

      • http://www.facebook.com/tony.newbill1 Tony Newbill

Eddie47d The Links in the story proved the connection of these rebel radicals , and the Obama administration needs to work on dividing those factions , not politically dividing his own peaceful civilian society . The politics of class division would be solved with a Flat tax code , do you think the politicians would ever consider this ????

There was plenty of money in the diplomatic budget to react to the security needs of this facility.

Surflaunch is another Republican talking head with this “blood on their hands” diatribe. Its wrong headed dangerous and rather unpatriotic. In other words done to please the hollowing Republican crowd who demand more blood. Now lets revisit Reagan’s term in comparison since you brought it up. Did terrible events under the Reagan Administration “seal their fate” Not at all Ms hypocrite and Republican troll. The Embassy attack in Lebanon was by far worse where those 71 died and Reagan pulled out. The 241 Marines killed there because of lax security was a travesty to say the least but all Reagan did was cut and run. So should Reagan and his Secretary of State’s Alexander Haig and George Shultz face a Democrat firing squad as the Republicans are demanding of Obama? Why are their different accountability standards for Democrats but not for Republicans ? Why wasn’t Reagan Impeached of the Iran-Contra Affair? Heck Republicans gleefully do it over sex and a white lie so why shouldn’t the Democrats over a more serious event? Should Shultz and Haig been fired over the hundreds and thousands of deaths in Central America? Almost each and every one of them civilians involving dozens of massacures. So will Surflaunch apologize for her double standards? Someone on Saturday said Republicans take responsibility and accountability for what they say and do and admit their errors. I guess we’ll find out if that is true or not!

By the way, nothing happens in the Middle East that their tribal chieftains don’t know about. So if there are riots, rebellions, etc., permission is given to do them, weapons and ammo are supplied and they are done for the cameras of the world.

      • momo

eddie47d says:”Heck Republicans gleefully do it over sex and a white lie so why shouldn’t the Democrats over a more serious event? ”

That “white lie” was to a grand jury, hence the perjury charge.

      • eddie47d

MOMO: Repeatedly pushed by the Republican opposition when it could have been handled differently. Should the Democrats use the same underhanded tactics over something more serious? I think so yet they didn’t so maybe the Democrats should prosecute Reagan is absentia or Cheney in absentia. If the Republicans want to play hardball then the Democrats should grow a pair and do the same thing, right?

      • Capitalist at Birth

What budget items are those? Can you document your falsehoods? I doubt it. There has been no reductions in spending since 2006. If this administration chose not to spend money on diplomatic security, let them live with the consequences. Just like all other Totalitarian Socialists you think that if you repeat a lie often enough it will be accepted as true. Total Fabrication, typical of the Communist play book.

Where are you getting this information from ?? Both Rice and Peteraus have explained the information she was given (unclassafied) to go on the air with. Were there mistakes, yes. Was it a mistake that C. Rice knew nothing of Al Quada prior to 911, or was it just plain ignorence. It is also a mistake to assume that because some may think the republican party is racist they should overlook it and continue to go after S. Rice. Using that thought it could be assumed that the party should never attempt to reach out to others who may not look or think like they do. How lucky we are that most here are neither republican or conservative., just plain reich wing and do not reflect the thoughts of the GOP as a whole.

He then had them killed. We have not had a President in our entire American History that has been so much into controlling our lives, including violating his own oath of office using health care as an excuse. Now as before he is after our Amendments. How close to a Hitler does one get before some ignorant do not label them as such? Rice is also a UN anti-freedom supporter and America, as other Countries have their own Constitution. When their oath of office is not violated America has the best of any Constitution. Test to see who is lying. Non-bias independent accounting. If, Ron as you say that Obama doesn’t lie or cheat please explain to all of us how he 108% of registered voters votes in one precinct in Ohio. Seems there was some voter fraud going on there. The sad part is that people like you refuse to accept the fact that government is corrupt. I hope you take note that I did not say that Democrats are corrupt for I meant all politicians. I for one wish that the American people could do away with Party an first be Americans and leave party to the politicians. In every society there are givers and takers but only if the givers allow it to happen. I do believe that there are those that do need help, and I also believe that there are those that are free loaders. There are those that will also vote only to demand being paid for their vote. This country is going down and I can only wonder where those takers will get their free-bees when there is no money left. Common sense is all lost in this society. If Obama wants more revenue put more people to work on real jobs created by private business who will then pay taxes. To give money to the stimulate jobs is just plain stupid. Government money given to pay salaries, that is then taxed creates a loss in revenue. Any person with just a little common sense can understand that concept, but then who would want to be accused of claiming that the American showed good common sense. Good common sense is a rare thing for most people and to those out there that get offended,if the shoe fits wear it if not don’t worry about it.

Harold Olsen says, “Some in the media are still saying it was the anti-Islam movie that was the cause of the attacks in Benghazi.”

It’s factually inarguable that protests did indeed ignite in many countries across the globe as a result of the video. It seems more unfortunate that such widespread reaction took place at the same time of the Benghazi incident, which reasonably skewed the lines of causation, than any real attempt by media, President, and so forth, to cover anything up. I think if there was any real attempt to do so, we would know a whole lot less than we do at this point.
