Is America Now Officially A Banana Republic?

November 22, 2012 by

Hello, I’m Wayne Allyn Root for Personal Liberty. Barack Obama’s election, the events leading up to it and the way the media have treated Obama certainly seem to indicate that America has officially become a Banana Republic. You know, one of those places where leaders control the media and the election outcomes, too.

For example, take the election results. Not a word in the mainstream media about massive voting irregularities. Not a word mentioned that Mitt Romney won every State requiring voter photo ID, or that Obama won in closely contested States that require no voter ID, like Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Nevada, Colorado and Pennsylvania. Was there voter fraud? We don’t know. You’d think an investigative reporter somewhere might be interested in this story? Amazingly, the media say nothing.

Or how about the impossible fact that in 59 voting precincts in Philadelphia, Romney got zero votes? Statistically impossible. Yet it happened in 59 precincts in one city and nine precincts in Cleveland. And in urban voting precincts in Florida, Illinois and Colorado (States wide open for fraud), Romney got zero votes. In many other inner-city precincts it was 100-1, 450-1, 315-1. This just isn’t possible. Yet the media say nothing.

Or what about the historic correlation between voter enthusiasm and winning? In 2008, Obama had all the enthusiasm. Not surprisingly, he won. This time around, polls proved that conservatives had a huge edge in enthusiasm and intensity. The tables had reversed. Romney rallies attracted 20,000 and 30,000 enthusiastic fans, while Obama rallies attracted embarrassingly low numbers.

On a personal level, I had reports from hundreds of friends and fans who excitedly reported three- to four-hour lines to vote in suburban conservative and Christian areas across this country. Yet we are told Romney had about 2 million fewer votes than John McCain received in 2008. Impossible. In multiple States there were reports of electronic voting changing Romney votes to Obama votes. Something certainly appears off. Someone should at least be investigating. Yet still the media say nothing.

Polls showed military members supported Romney by landslide numbers. So Democrats actively suppressed military voting, doing everything in their power to make it extremely difficult for soldiers to cast a vote. The media say nothing.

By the way, none of this may have affected the election results. Romney may have had literally no support from blacks, Latinos, women or college students in many areas of the country. Maybe there was no ballot box stuffing in urban precincts. Maybe Obama’s supporters didn’t vote multiple times with no voter ID required. Maybe the military really didn’t care to vote. But shouldn’t the media be mentioning the controversy? Isn’t it their job to investigate and prove it wrong? Yet the media say nothing.

Hurricane Sandy decimates New York and New Jersey. The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s response is pathetic, embarrassing, close to criminal. No food or water for days. No power for weeks. FEMA did not pre-position the most basic of supplies — like bottled water. They were completely unprepared, incompetent, invisible. This was Obama’s Hurricane Katrina. Yet while Bush was vilified, blamed and called “racist,” the media praised Obama, never blamed him; and 15 percent of voters call his response significant in their decision to vote for him on Election Day.

Then there’s Benghazi, Libya and the U.S. Consulate disaster. President Obama was warned that our Libyan consulate faced an attack on 9/11. He did nothing. The consulate asked for beefed up security. He did nothing. Four brave Americans died — including our ambassador. Obama’s Administration lackeys watched in real time (with drones filming it all from above) from the comfort of the White House Situation Room. They did nothing. SEAL teams begged for permission to rescue our boys. Obama ordered them to stand down. He not only left them behind, he watched them being murdered. Yet the media say nothing.

Then he covered it all up. CIA Chief General Petraeus reported to Obama, declaring it a terrorist attack. But that reference to terrorism was removed. Obama, Hillary Clinton and U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice spent two weeks falsely blaming a YouTube video. Obama referred to the YouTube video four times in a speech at the United Nations two weeks after the attack. This was clearly a cover-up to save Obama’s re-election. This is Watergate with four dead bodies. The media say nothing.

Days before the election, out of nowhere, the Obama Labor Department extrapolated that 873,000 new part-time jobs were created in one month. This “miracle” allowed unemployment to miraculously dip below 8 percent after 43 consecutive months. Perfect timing for a politician trained in Chicago fraud politics. The media say nothing.

But now that the election is over, the Department of Labor reports new jobless claims rose by a staggering 78,000 for just the first week after election, while The Wall Street Journal reports capital spending by America’s corporations has literally collapsed. I guess the perfectly timed one-month recovery is officially over. Any investigative reporter who reported on this fraud would win journalism awards. Yet no one in the media seems to want the job.

The Bureau of Labor & Statistics reports “real unemployment” (called U6) is 14.6 percent. Have you ever heard the media using the 14.6 percent real unemployment number and tying it to Obama? Or did you hear that food stamp growth was faster in Obama’s first term than job growth? During the campaign, the media mysteriously said nothing about those damning statistics.

Obama promised to cut the deficit in half; instead, he doubled it, increased the debt by a mind-numbing $5 trillion and presided over the first credit downgrade in U.S. history. Obama’s 43 consecutive months of unemployment above 8 percent was more than all the months over 8 percent from Presidents Harry Truman to George W. Bush combined. Did you ever hear the media mention that fact? During the campaign, the media said nothing.

How about Obama’s secret tape about his love for “income redistribution” (the central tenant of socialism)? The media repeatedly pounded Romney’s 47 percent tape into every voter’s subconscious, but mysteriously ignored Obama’s tape for the entire campaign.

During the Presidential debates, Obama lied repeatedly. The biggest whopper was his claim he supported oil drilling. Facts proved drilling permits were down 60 percent under Obama. Two days after the election, Obama issued a plan to close 1.6 million acres of Federal land in the West originally slated for oil shale development. Still the media say nothing.

The media never mention Obama’s schedule. We are in a Great Depression II. Our economy is in the worst crisis since 1929. And Obama’s entire year 2012 was filled with golf, basketball, fundraising, campaign rallies and “morning zoo” media appearances. How is there any time left to deal with the economy? Well, there’s not. Obama’s Jobs Task Force has not found the time to meet in almost a year. The media say nothing.

Nothing to see folks. There is no story. Just move along.

The story I’ve just told you could be expected in Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea or Zimbabwe. I would never have guessed in America that the mainstream media would take their marching orders directly from the President.

It sure appears that we are now officially living in a Banana Republic. I’m Wayne Allyn Root for Personal Liberty. See you right back here next week. Same time, same place. God Bless.

The only reason you would not call America a Banana Republic is because America lives by the rule “Might makes right”. Weighing assets vs. liabilities, America is probably the brokest country of them all. We seem satisfied trading with counterfeit Federal Reserve NOTES and our positon as being the supplier of the world’s soverign currency, Federal Reseve NOTES, works toward the people running America’s goals, that being the head of a one world Empire. The real power, the Creator of everything worthwhile has different plans spelled out as prophecies in the bible. The bible contains 66 books written by 40 authors over a period of 1,400 years. The books have proved each other out over a period of time. What it says is each and every one of us takes our next breath at the Creators pleasure. America is great because America is good. When America ceases to be good, it will cease to great. Read and believe John 3:16. You’ll have happy thinksgivings throughout all of eternity.

The present regime is already training youth corps as promised, the first class graduated about a month ago. Homeland “Security” has its new armored trucks rolling in our cities, the press is on the side of the regime to “see no evil, hear no evil and talk no evil”. All these were things that Castro instituted in Cuba from the very start… This is why I consider Cuba a small trial run of what was to be instituted in this country…

    • http://wildeyguns.com The Christian American

Castro is a devout Communist and rules / ruled Cuba that way. The people running America are working from the same instruction manual. FDR was the first Communist president in America. (Government / Government controlled) is theiir motto. They will work with Fascism (privately owned / government controlled) to a point but pure Communism is their goal. There is steps toward the completion of their goals. Thesis, anti-Thesis, Synthesis.

Thesis: A country running along with a stable government philosophy
Anti- Thesis: A country in turmoil. The government philosophy is in dispute
Synthesis: What comes out of that state of turmoil.
If the Communist have their way, government owned / government controlled will be the philosophy the country adopted. Communist are patient, like a serpent in pursuit of a mouse. Lies and deceit are the order of the day. Stalin said: Promises are like pie crust, made to be broken. Stalin’s thinking is mentoring Obama

      • momo

        How dialectically Hegalian.

      • eddie47d

Most Americans look at FDR as a great President and you condemn him. That is your American right. Dave H attacks Lincoln all the time and that is his right even when he is considered one of the greatest. Some will say Reagan is a very great man but I can present evidence of all his failings and “prove” that he wasn’t so great. So is that what this nation has become where we tear our leaders down and none are worthy to be used except as toilet paper?

      • DaveH

I think what it amounts to, Christian, is Leaders seeking absolute power. They don’t really care if it’s Communism, Fascism, or some other ‘ism as long as they obtain that absolute power.

      • JUKEBOX

Don’t forget the instructions that were in “MEIN KAMPF” for the establishment of the National Socialist Party.

      • KG

I love hearing people spout-off crap that they learned from Rush or Beck. It’s like “Hey, I can sound smart, too!”

      • DaveH

Sounding Smart is one thing we don’t have to worry about coming from you, KG.

    • ChuckS

Maybe not just Cuba. It’s likely that Obama or some of his people have studied how most dictators have taken over their countries and are trying the “best” methods they found. Maybe more dictators who got elected, like Julius Caesar and Hitler. Incidentally, I don’t think Hitler had death camps until 1938 – 5 years into his regime. If Obama does want a dictatorship, he wouldn’t necessarily be on the same schedule – more likely event related, like some time after he takes our guns and censors the internet and other media.

  • http://www.advertisingfactory.net Ernest Hemple

We need to stop talking about the problem and start fighting back. The first thing we need to do is to stop doing business with the worst offenders. Let’s start with NBC. No one should watch this network. No one should ever purchase any item from any NBC advertiser. I mean never again. Put them out of business. The let’s move to CBS. During this time, if the stock of these companies fall, conservatives should buy control. We must all get on the same page and recognize that we are at war and if we don’t fight back, we will not be able to in the near future.

    • KG

You guys are already doing that – it’s called FOX. And the largest newspaper owner in America – Mclachy – another known right winger. So, in SPITE of these “propaganda” machines, Obama won. Now, what does that tell you?

      • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Wake The Sleepers(Jay)

It should tell you that Fox played its part in propping up the illusion that Americans have a choice, dumbbell!

  • kert

grow up republicans –your history –no crap —-you blew it with rommney —and such like palin —mccain —wrap it up

    • http://www.facebook.com/tony.newbill1 Tony Newbill

The Republican Establishment shoved Romney down our throats and that will be the last time they do this I bet . the Race would have been a Lot funner to watch if Newt would have had a debate with Obama , I don’t think Newt would have held back . And his baggage would have been seen as lame compared to Romneys Vulture economics which I totally saw as a Big Conflict of Interest regarding his claim to know how to fix the economy when he was a Part of the out sourcing that he made his big bucks with . Total Hypocrisy that far out paced any of Obamas because of the direct effect this was seen in the pockets of the Average American .

      • http://wildeyguns.com The Christian American

The “Republicans” have an agenda and it’s far from restoring America to a God fearing Constitutional Republic. They want to pick at the carcass of America but in slightly different way. If I had rate them, I’d say the republicans are for fascism while the democrats lean toward communism. As far as working America goes, if you can tell me the difference I’d like to know. How do you think Washington, Jefferson, Adams and their ilk would fare in today’s America? Bout the same as Ron Paul did I imagine.

      • Jana

        Kert,
Not all of us had a choice. Texas and a lot of other states vote so late in the primaries that the choice has already been made and the candidate we think would be right has dropped out. Our primaries are in May. WE NEVER HAVE A CHOICE. This is wrong. All of the primaries should be on the same day.

      • George E

        I definitely agree with you.

    • DaveH

You might be right, Kert, but if you did some studying you would find that the Democrats offer you no more. You could start here if you want to remove the blinders:
      http://library.mises.org/books/Kel%20Kelly/The%20Case%20for%20Legalizing%20Capitalism.pdf

      • GALT

Or you could stay right here and read this……saves a WHOLE LOT OF TIME!!!!

a brief excerpt from the book Econned.

“In 1776, Adam Smith published The Wealth fof Nations. In it he argued that the uncoordinated actions of large numbers of individuals, each acting out of self interest, sometimes produced , as if by “an invisible hand,”results that were beneficial to broader society. Smith also pointed out that self interested actions frequently led to injustice or even ruin. He fiercely criticized both how employers colluded with each other to keep wages low, as well as the ” savage injustice ” that European mercantilist interests had “commited with impunity” in colonies in Asia and the Americas.

Smith’s ideas were cherry picked and turned into a simplistic ideology that now dominates university economics departments. This theory proclaims that the “invisible hand” ensures that economic interest will always lead to the best outcomes imaginable. It follows that any restrictions on the profit seeking activities of individuals and corporations interfer with this invisible hand, and therefor are “inefficient” and nonsensical.

According to this line of thinking, individuals have perfect knowledge both of what they want and everything happening in the world at large, and so they pass there lives making intelligent decisions. Prices may change in ways that appear random, but this randomness follows predictable and unchanging rules and is never violently chaotic. It is therefore possible for corporations to use clever techniques to reduce and even eliminate the risks associated with their business. The result is a stable productive economy that represents the apex of civilization.

This heartwarming picture airbrushes out nearly all of the real business world.”

Norm says “Obamao will go down as one of our best (sic)presidents.” He most likely hasn’t lived long enough to make such a statement. I remember just like it was yesterday 49 years ago today, one of our best Presidents was shot to death in Dallas Texas.Obamao wouldn’t make a pimple on JFKs rump!

  • http://www.facebook.com/cesar.gonzalezbetancourt César M González Betancourt

With articles as full of hatred as this one, it’s no wonder that the people of the U.S. reelected President Obama. The Republican Party has been highjacked by right wing extremist, religious wacko jobs. I attended two Tea Party rallies, one in Doral, and one in Coral Gables, Florida, but never again will I do the work of the Koch Brothers, Karl Rove, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly, or any other right wing wacko. Bill O’Reilly’s hatred towards NON-Anglo-Saxons seeps right through his racist pores. He can’t stand the fact that our nation’s demographics are changing. Right wing conservatives think that they own the U.S.A. I am all for protecting our borders and many other conservative principles, but I am now cutting all ties to the Tea Party because they have been overrun by extremists as much as the Occupy Movement.

    • DaveH

First of all, Cesar, you aren’t talking about Conservatives, you are talking about NeoConservatives. But speaking of Hatred, you should reread your own comment. Like this part for instance — “The Republican Party has been highjacked by right wing extremist, religious wacko jobs”.

    • hipshotpercusion

      Liberals=Hypocrites

      • http://mashedpotatobulletin.wordpress.com Mashed Potato Bulletin

Look around hipshot, the GOP are the prime example of hypocrisy from everything from Benghazi to government spending… they represent the height of hypocrisy.

      • DaveH

Do some reading, MPB, and you will find that the main thrust of this website is to educate people to the reality that Big Government is our problem, regardless of which major party is currently in charge. The Democrat/Republican paradigm is just a distraction to keep people from learning the truth about Big Government.

      • KG

        Dave-
What you are saying is pure balderdash. There are differences in the two party system. It’s just that they are so fundamental, the room for any kind of compromise has been almost eliminated. Actually, I feel that this website is more about Mr. Livingston’s ego than any “education”. The only thing I have learned is just how crazy and insane some of these “Ultraconservatives” are. When you start claiming there’s no such thing as Germs, you need to think to your self “…maybe Mr. Livingston is a crackpot, as well as his minions.”
Just a thought. No offense intended, just illuminating the terrain we find ourselves deployed in.

      • DaveH

        Balderdash, KG?
Don’t they both build Government ever larger?
Don’t they both engage in foreign wars against people who never attacked the US?
Don’t they both endorse such things as the Patriot Act and the NDAA?
Don’t they both endorse the largest Government Spending in our country’s peace time history?

KG says — “Just a thought. No offense intended, just illuminating the terrain we find ourselves deployed in”.

The only thing you illustrate, KG, is your ignorance and your willingness to Force your way on other people. In other words, you are a typical Liberal Progressive.

      • DaveH

You could pick up a copy of this book, KG, and learn some reality, but then that would go against your Union Sensibilities to learn something, wouldn’t it?

Yes KG, we are well aware of your deployment and understand the reasons for your presence here. Thanks for your thought just the same, as it does illuminate the reason for your deployment on this terrain. No offence taken. However, you might want to consider flushing the toilet once in a while…phew, you progs stink up the joint something awful!

    • eddie47d

Maybe someday Dave H and Hipshot will wake up and realize they HAVE BEEN overrun by “right wing zealots”. If you haven’t noticed by now then you aren’t paying attention!

    • Bill

      So, cesar,
Are you leaving the Tea Party and going back to your roots with the socialist party?

    • http://wildeyguns.com The Christian American

Cesar, you must understand. the people you mentioned are in for their arbitron ratings. Those determine how much they can charge advertiser on their shows, now much money they can make. Your right, they want to make money while fighting a “Patriotic” cause. Men like Bob Livinston are a rare breed. Of course he has to make money but he won’t sacrifice his convictions for it. His adverisers must share the same views. Not so with the names you mentioned. As a Christian you have hope. Your efforts are simply your Christian duty. Your “arbitron ratings” pay off in the next life. Read John 3:16. The country might fall into the abyss but you won’t.

    • JUKEBOX

It takes a racist to recognize real racism.

    • Right Brain Thinker

Well said, Cesar. You clearly have your eyes open. Pay no attention to DaveH. Among his many other blind spots, the distinction between “strong feelings” and “hatred” is beyond his vision. If you want to see some hate on this site, it is easy to find and it comes from people that Dave relates well to.

And thanks for the laugh, Dave. I refer to you saying this site “educates”. What it really does is serve as a place for people like you to reinforce each other in your delusions and indoctrinate each other, i.e., strengthen the “groupthink”, no matter how sick and twisted and just plain WRONG that “thinking” may be. Those of us who worked in education or have been truly educated in academia and life know that—too bad you won’t give us a single inch when we try to do for you what was our life’s work.

      • DaveH

Don’t you guys ever tire of issuing your Childish Personal Attacks, Brain (sure), as if they mean anything at all to intelligent people?
Try something new. Try saying something factual and logical.

      • DaveH

RBT says — “Those of us who worked in education”.
You worked in education, RBT? Wow, must have been many decades ago, because I all see in your comments are personal attacks that any adolescent school yard bully might issue since he has no real knowledge.
But again, I can’t thank you enough for exposing to the readers of PL the depths of Liberal Progressive Depravity.

    • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Wake The Sleepers(Jay)

Cesar says: I am all for protecting our borders and many other conservative principles, but I am now cutting all ties to the Tea Party because they have been overrun by extremists as much as the Occupy Movement.

Kudos Cesar, a true statement if there ever was. But tell me, if a take-over and control of the two movements mentioned above can be so easily obtained, might there be one that is impervious? And if so, which one?

  • http://www.facebook.com/cesar.gonzalezbetancourt César M González Betancourt

First of all, ” America ” is a continent of many nations, and it was named 500 years ago… You who call the United States of America, by the name America are all arrogant. Secondly, the term ” Banana Republic ” is an insult to the American nations where they live off of agriculture, as the U.S.A. once did……And then you ask yourselves why the people voted for President Obama ! It is because of the arrogance and ignorance of you right wing, bigoted, religious zealots that you lost the White House as you deserved to lose it. And you can forget 2016. The demographics of the U.S. have changed and you can’t change that.

    • DaveH

The demographics have changed but we can’t change that? How convenient for the Progressives. They can change things but we can’t change them back.

    • eddie47d

That is what elections are for Dave H. and you will have another opportunity in 2016. The thing is I’m not sure if most Americans would want to “change it back” to the Bush years. If you can’t fire up your Libertarian troops and “change” the ways of stubborn Republicans then you may get more of the same.

    • Bill

      Wow, such venom mr betancourt,
You must be a real pain in the a$$ to be around. So, come on and tell us what else offends you. Let’s waste some more of our time

    • Marty S.

Sir are you implying that we are officially under a dictatorship? If so many of us here have already known that since the 2008 “elections”. But thanks for the info anyways.

      • eddie47d

Some of us were aware of that from the 1972 election!

  • Chester

For all of you who really and truly BELIEVE Mr. Root’s story, why are you still living here? If things are as bad as he keeps preaching, why hasn’t HE cashed in and bought his own little banana republic? At least that way, he could institute the rules he thinks work so well in the REAL world and see how well they work outside his fevered imagination.

    • DaveH

So you can take control of our lives, Chester, and we aren’t allowed to Protest?
How convenient for you Pushy Controlling Liberal Progressives.

      • eddie47d

What she said was absolutely correct and we all have the right to speak out. Seems like you want to stiffle the Democrats and that proves Dave H’s point but you are the ones doing it.

      FJKIII
I don’t remember the part of the Constitution that allows military takeovers and state secessions. Maybe you need to go to South America or Africa.

While Obama,Soros, the media, and other undesirables are ruining this country, a lot of fault also falls on the universities. While a few students, (very few) follow a patriotic path, Places tike Aggies, liveral places like U.T’s proffesors keep brainwashing the doped up students with socislism, communism. and any and all un-American ideas. And with the N.A.A.C.P.fueling the ‘Youse owes me,blood’ tribes, a decent non leftist candidate is on an uphill fight.

    • eddie47d

I would say the undesirables are on Wall Street working their magic or in the Banks plotting their next move against an unsuspecting public.Gladly creating the next manufactured crises for all of us to enjoy!. “The NAACP” ; seldom hear of them but thanks for making them so important in your mixed up life.

    And a little thanks,
I am just amazed every single day of this wonderful life that our free society has created. I always say that half of the world would be happy living in your garage. To be having these nice little comfortable dwellings, with electricity, running water, flush toilets, hot showers, gas stoves, refrigerators, and heating and cooling at the push of a button just makes me so thankful that we live in a society where we take these things for granted.

We do not have wars on our own soil and we do not kill the losers of an election.

My wife has a property management business that I help her with. We have a painter that we have been using for the last 5 years and we love him and give him lots of work. One day I decided to take him to lunch. And during lunch he told me his story.: He and his wife came here from El Salvador, leaving a war torn nightmare looking for opportunity. They moved into an apartment with three other couples and started working. They saved their money and moved into their own apartment. They kept on working and eventually they bought a house. The house was divided into two units with a detached garage, so they rented out the house and moved into the garage.

They added a sleeping deck to the back of the garage and proceeded to raise 4 children in the garage. Fast forward to 20 years later and three of the children are in collage, one has a budding career in computers and Jose is estatically happy just running his painting business and living in his garage.

So, on this thanksgiving, quit your whining and appreciate what you have

    • DaveH

Indeed we all have it much better than our ancestors, but that fact does not confer the right for people to help themselves to other peoples’ money and choices.

      • Robert Smith

Choice! ROFL… The extreme right doesn’t support choice for women.

        Rob

      • http://www.facebook.com/tony.newbill1 Tony Newbill

Robert thats not true the rights position is they don’t want their tax dollars being used for Abortion or birth control , that doesn’t mean they deny a woman’s choice

      • Bill

        I agree with you Dave,
I just wanted to give us all a different perspective on thanksgiving.

      • Bill

        Robert Smith,
What a dumb ignorant thing to say. Dont you have anything better than that

      • DaveH

        Robert,
The choice to kill an unborn baby seems to be the only choice that you morally bankrupt Liberal Progressives support. You certainly don’t support my choice to not purchase Health Care Insurance, or my choice to buy tungsten light bulds, or many other choices that really are none of your business.
How do you square meddling in my Health Care decisions, Robert, with killing unborn babies?

      • JUKEBOX

Hey Rob, if anti abortion people are called “PRO LIFE”, why are “PRO CHOICE” people not called “PRO DEATH”? Please give me a succinct explanation.

      • Kate8

Robert Smith – All women have the right to choose…right at the moment they decide to hit the sack… And if they choose to do that, they have the right to choose whether to use contraceptives…

You see, life is full of choices, and we make them all the time.

We don’t need to pay for her contraceptives, and if she chooses to abort the child she conceived because she chose to be irresponsible, we don’t need to pay for that, either. She needs to be on her own. Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time…

The problem isn’t having choices, Robert. We always have choices. What you liberals want is to be free from accountability. People who refuse to be held accountable for themselves cannot be free, either, because freemen take responsibility for their choices.

Slaves need masters and benefactors. When you want to have a benefactor take care of you, bail you out when you screw up… then you must also allow said benefactor to regulate your life and make your choices for you, as well. It’s part of the deal.

This may seem reasonable to people like you, but not to those of us who are grown-ups.

      • Robert Smith

Bill asks: “Dont you have anything better than that”

What’s better than advocating for the rights for women?

What’s better for advocating for the rights of every American?

        Oh of course…

Advocating for the denial of health care! How can anyone claim to be “pro-life” and deny health care is a mystery to me.

How can anyone deny an abortion for the health of the woman? In Ireland they killed a woman by denying her an abortion. There are extremists in America who would do that too.

Can anyone explain to me what a “ligitimate” rape is? Is that like dunking a woman and if she drowns she isn’t guilty, but if she lives she is guilty and burned at the stake?

        Rob

      • Robert Smith

Quit lying DaveH: “The choice to kill an unborn baby seems to be the only choice that you morally bankrupt Liberal Progressives support.”

I’ve told you this before but your apparent compulsion to condemn other who are goose-stepping with you is apparent.

I dont care if any individual woman carries to term or aborts. THAT is HER issue and only her issue.

I’m sucseeding here in America where women can still make that choice.

So, by your rules, for every woman who chooses to carry to term I’m a saint, but for each who aborts I’m evil.

When in fact I’m neither. I simply want each woman to be able to choose for herself in the context of her own medical condition, morals, and advice from thse who she chooses to ask for such.

Again, thanks for the demonstration of how your apparently prefer to lie rather than simply understand.

I’ll save this post for the next time you lie.

        Rob

      • Robert Smith

Jukebox asks: “why are “PRO CHOICE” people not called “PRO DEATH”? ”

Because “PRO DEATH would be a lie.

Again, the CHOICE is what’s important. If that there brutal christian gave human beings “free will” who are the right wing nuts to take it away? Maybe he is testing each woman by giving her the “gift” of a pregnancy when she doesn’t want it…

The fact is that in China where abortion is heavily coersed I’d be called “pro-life.” That’s what choice means there.

        Rob

      • Robert Smith

Kate8 (who blamed the media for Romney’s misfortune) claims: “She needs to be on her own. Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time…”

Ah, and I’ll bet you think it’s the 47% who do the most crime.

Clue: Not everyone follows your religion of the American Taliban here in America.

We realize that your brutal god who flooded the planet and killed everyone except Noah and his kin, watched his own kid get tortured on a cross, blew up a couple of cities, and allows parents to kill off a mouthy kid…

        Not good for human beings.

        Rob

Well thought out and oh so logical!

    • Smilee

At least your honest enough to admit you are filled with hate for him, so many on here hate him just as bad but deny it.

      • Kate8

No one denies ‘hating’ him. It just has to do with the fact that he’s destroying America, not because of his race.

You lefties are so obsessed with hate that it’s all you can see. It is quite apparent thay you hate all things Right…so you see everything in terms of hate.

Most of us don’t think in those terms. We just see a problem and try to find a real solution without creating bigger problems, like the left loves doing.

You never solve anything through hate. Nothing is ever made better by hating. It is YOU people who need to come to terms with this. You claim to stand for ‘tolerance’ and ‘inclusion’, and yet you only tolerate those who think like you do: the immoral, the depraved, the irresponsible.

Nice job. We’d all be better off if you’d just get a real life and leave the rest of us the heck alone.

It’s my guess that Sean doesn’t really hate Obama. How could he. He doesn’t really know him. On the other hand, he probably doesn’t like the things that Obama is doing and how he’s going about doing them. That has nothing to do with race. It has everything to do with his political ideologies, his priorities, and his management style.

      • Jana

    Wayne Allyn Root
Isn’t it you Wayne who predicted a landslide for Romney despite the FACT that the pollsters had the election results called correctly all along?
Now emerges your great conspiracy theories. Why not just admit that you represent a very small percent of the American voters, and interpreting FACTS is not one of your strong points.
Romney lost big and Obama won fairly. Stop crying and acting like a 5 year old whose team just lost a ball game.
Romney lost because he is an elitist liar who caters to the wealthy and has little use for anyone else.

    • Smilee

What really burns them is that Obama, a black man, and his team totally out smarted them with less overall money spent and with a large enough margin that even if the fraud they say existed it would not change the out come and of course they have no proof and some of their so called facts are nothing more than rumors and they exist in large numbers in this culture. Voter fraud, loss of freedoms, and stumping all over the Constitution are also figments of their imaginations of which they cannot produce any credible proof but they keep repeating them and some believe it but none have not a clue why and when they get caught in this web they just blame it on a liberal without knowing why too. They are a sad lot

      • Walt

Obama is not a black man he is Mulato. You progressives talk about racism. What??? The blacks in America are the most racist of all races. 93% voting for a “black” man. If only 65% voted for Obama, Romney would have won, but “black” racism won out. And if you would check out the history of the progressives and the dems, you would see that their agenda all along was to enslave the “black” people of America. Looks like they have succeeded and are well on their way to enslave the Latinos. Thank the Lord I left the country at 68 years young 3 years ago. And no, I don’t hate “black” people, otherwise I wouldn’t have moved to a country that is 87% “black” and 90% of my neighbors and friends are “black” However, we will continue to pray for America.

      • Norm

        Rick
        losing America….??
Could you go into a little more detail? I don’t understand how and to whom it is being lost.
And yes I think Obama will go down as one of our better presidents. He brought health insurance to almost all, he ended an evil war, and he is working hard on correcting the Bush financial disaster. Not bad for his first term, and despite total unjustified opposition from the right extremists.

      • eddie47d

Rick is an Rombot full of saccasm and a petty sore loser!

      • Kate8

Norm – Health insurance for (almost) all?!!!!

What about the more than half of the country who DON’T WANT IT?

        What about our rights?

Another case of some being more equal than others.

      • Rick

Norm, how old are you? Your king, ofullo$ hit spent most all of his time going around to the colleges because he knew that he could fool young minds into giving up freedom for Socialism. Actually, the schools have been programming young people to accept Socialism as a good thing for years. This wonderful free health care (Socialism) that you think is so great is not free at all, unless you are a free loader that is. It is loaded with all kinds of taxes and fines. Businesses are having to get rid of employees because they cannot afford it. I am sure that you think those businesses are just being mean and UN-American right. You probably also think that guns kill people, and that cars make people drive drunk. There is already a large Doctor shortage in this country, and that is going to get nothing but worse. But, obama will fix it. Next will be the Communism faze of his plan, where you are told what profession that you must go into, and what town you must live in. I want the wars over too, but you are a fool if you believe that your king has defeated the radical muslim groups that want to cut your head off the first chance they get. That is why he and his minions worked so hard to cover up the Benghazi Terror attack. He wants his naive obots to think that his apology tour foreign policy is working. Your king is not fixing the financial problems. What he is doing right under your nose, is Fundamentally changing The United States of America into A Third World Country, because that is what he thinks we deserve. I know that you think barack hussein obama is such a nice guy, and that he cares so much about you, but you are being deceived by The Smiling Socialist Deceiver. He is setting this country on an intentionally engineered path to destruction. Some people have eyes to see what he is doing but you, smilee, and other obots do not. That is a real shame, considering that we are all going to suffer because you, and other obots are so easily fooled by the great con man obama. Some day you will look back and say,” what was I thinking?” And, you will have to explain to your kids and grand kids what freedom was like.

      • Norm

        Kate8
Only 2 groups of people should be uninsured:
        1. People with enough cash to pay their own way.
        2. People who will never allow medical treatment.
Most people who don’t want any insurance are free loaders who expect others to pay their way. The paying others are people who have insurance and taxpayers subsidize medical costs thrush taxes.

      • Kate8

Norm, In the first place, it is not governments’ place to tell us what kind of health insurance we must have, how much or even whether. This is not how freemen are treated.

In the second place, not all of us subscribe to allopathic medicine. I haven’t been to an MD in over 30 years, and have no intention of EVER doing so. I will not take drugs, will not have surgeries, and have no use for medical intervention.

I carry an accident policy for emergencies. Other than that, I’ll go nowhere near them, and I don’t want to be FORCED to pay for something I will not use. Nor do I want to pay for anyone else’s, either.

I’m sick of you leftys thinking you have the right to manage how everyone lives, by FORCE.

I cannot wait until you all get the BOOT.

      • Karolyn

Norm – I am one of those who does not want health insurance; however I am 65 and do have Medicare, part of which I HAVE to have and pay for. I had no insurance for most of my working life and rarely had the need for it except when I was diagnosed with HCV. Even then it was not used much other than for what was absolutely necessary to diagnose my condition. I know how to take care of my body and VERY rarely go to the doctor other than for routine bloodwork.

      • Karolyn

Kate – I was typing my post at the same time you were yours. This is one area where you and I totally agree. Had I not had coverage when I got my diagnosis, I would not have had the 2 biopsies I did have because they really were not necessary. Of course, the second one showed improvement due to my use of natural methods to address the heatitis c. That one clinched the deal for me on natural medicine and really stuck in the gastroenterologist’s craw.

      • Robert Smith

Kate8 asks: “What about the more than half of the country who DON’T WANT IT?”

Do you mean like those who already have it?

        Like the retired military?

        Those on Medicare?

Like retired folks… Oops Kodak screwed them.

Like the folks from Hostess? Oops the “executives” screwed them.

        Rob

      • Kate8

Robert – We’ve had this discussion numerous times already, so you prove that you are just harping on a meaningless mantra.

I DON’T HAVE IT, I DON’T WANT IT. Yet you would FORCE it on me.

Not you, not anyone has the right to tell me and others like me that we have to, by FORCE, conform to your version of healthcare. LEAVE ME THE H*LL ALONE.

You continue to prove that you are opposed to freedom for all, and that you think you have the right to FORCE other people to provide YOUR CHOICE of medical care.

You are Borg, Robert. There is very little hope for people like you. It will be very hard for any of us to ever reclaim freedom as long as your kind are in control.

        ODE TO THE STUPID

        Today it’s Norm’s and Smilee’s turn
        Along with KG(B),
To hit the bandwidth deep and long
        With post-election glee.

        Now Mr. Root gave paragraphs
        To pointing out the facts
That those above just won’t address
        In lieu of crass attacks.

The public schools produce such fools,
        The wolves in skins of sheep;
Or are they skunks and weasels here
Whose brains have gone to sleep?

First “tax and spend,” then “tax and spend;”
        It echoes through the hills;
Comes not from folks with common sense
        But bought and paid-for shills.

Now history will take its toll
        On socialists and fools;
It always has, it always will,
And place the blame on schools.

The time will come when they will see,
        Alas! They’ll be too late;
The nation will have gasped its last,
        A product of their hate.

And when that day so surely comes,
They’ll be the first to cry:
        “I didn’’t know that I was wrong!
        Now kiss your ass goodbye.

      • KG

    • JUKEBOX

Norm, I want to see how supportive you are of the wonderful one, when you are paying double for your insurance, $8 for gas, $5 for a loaf of bred, etc. Oh, that’s right, Obama is going to give this to you for free!

    • George E

      Norm,

Until we get some integrity in our voting process so that we will have confidence that the winner is actually the winner, this is going to continue. Right now it’s coming from the right, but when a Republican wins it’ll come from the left. We need to start with adding voter ID laws where they don’t currently exist and stricter oversight and enforcement of current laws. Some districts are so heavily right or left that it’s difficult to make sure the controlling political party is following the rules like they’re supposed to, the way things are today. Voting is supposed to be a privilege and responsibility, but when people don’t have confidence in the process or outcome, it becomes a shamble that encourages discontent and even defiance. So don’t chide Wayne and others for questioning the outcome of this election, just help him fix the process so everyone will have confidence that the winner is truly the winner.

Hey ya’ll please send this to your Congress person and the President to help the Banana officials to keep themselves from starving due to their own Ignorance in fixing the Fiscal Cliff .

Dear President and Congress , I have been reading this article and the Unintended Consequences this Tax Law Change will cause is the topic of this Email .
The First Thing that comes to mind when thinking about this Tax Law change and its Reverting back to the Clinton Tax on Estates over 1 million dollars is when you factor the Farm sector and how Supply Production is barely keeping up with Demand today a Demand that is bring driven by 1 Billion more people in the world since the Clinton tax on estates was changed in 2002 to revert back to the 1990s Tax rate would be devastating on supply production because the Current operators that run these businesses would forced to sell these operations because they do not have the capital to afford the Increased tax with the Tax on Inheritance of a family business , and this could interrupt the production of our most critical needs at a time when the supply is tight and at a time when the Greatest number of Elderly folks that own and operate these businesses are reaching the age of retirement and as these folks pass away in Larger than average numbers the transition of these Production businesses will be faced with not the same management taking over and major interruptions in production will happen , and this would not be the way to handle this tax code revision regarding the inheritance tax going back to the Clinton tax rate , it could actually create a national security threat of supply shortages that would be worse than dealing with the debt in my estimate .
My thinking is that we need to instead consider the Subsidies that these businesses are involved with on an annual bases and reduce these Allocations as a Alternative to creating the revenues while leaving the Current Management in place on these supply production businesses so supply that’s tight will not be interrupted with a forced selling off of these businesses and new management taking over and the Learning Curve of new Businesses be the interruption in overall supply .
Please consider these thoughts as you draft new tax codes for the Fiscal Reforms that are happening today to avert the fiscal Cliff .
Thanks for your time and Happy Thanks Giving .

They Are Going To Make It Nearly Impossible To Pass On A Farm Or A Business To Your Children
    http://theeconomiccollapseblog.com/archives/they-are-going-to-make-it-nearly-impossible-to-pass-on-a-farm-or-a-business-to-your-children

    • Norm

      Tony
If supply barely meets demand why are the taxpayers paying millions to prevent farmers from planting?
Maybe this insane farm subsidy system needs to be overhauled.
Oh I forgot, most farming is done in the RED states.

      • http://www.facebook.com/tony.newbill1 Tony Newbill

Norm I agree the Subsidy allocations needs to be Overhauled , and the change to the usage of Corn for ethanol needs to be stopped too , its using 40 % of our corn that should be used in food .
The biggest supporter of the set aside programs that takes farmland out of production is coming from the environmental sector , these people are your various groups that want to control segments of the land for wildlife and such when its not necessary when the majority of the USA is public lands that support or could be better managed to support wildlife without interruptions in food production .

      • DaveH

All subsidies should be stopped, Norm, because it is Not the Government’s money to give.

      • eddie47d

The main reason for allowing vacant land Tony is to avoid another dust bowl and to rejuvenate the land. Sometimes not using the land IS wise land usuage.

      • Robert Smith

Tony says: “The biggest supporter of the set aside programs that takes farmland out of production is coming from the environmental sector ”

Actually it’s mega corporate welfare. Agribusiness gets paid for doing nothing.

        Rob

      • http://www.facebook.com/tony.newbill1 Tony Newbill

Not true Robert , groups like Ducks Unlimited pay for a lobby for the farm bill directly as well as the Agri Business sector because they are creating habitat and that results in HUGE donations to their causes . The same is true with how the Environmental Organizations use the Corn ethanol production as a GREEN energy to rally donation support with the cause being lobbied for continued subsidies but at the same time we are seeing stagnate supply growth and Inflation in our cost of food .

      • Kate8

And guess what, Robert? Obama and the Leftist machine take their orders from these same mega corporations who control everything.

I realize that it’s your job to defend the Left and malign the Right, but if you had any kind of integrity you would care to learn the truth.

No amount of money, no promise of reward, is worth selling out your country. Make deals with the devil and you will end up burnt. I guarantee it.

      • eddie47d

Then Kate maligns the left by fully endorsing the right so what is the difference?

      • George E

Why don’t we all just endorse the “right” ideas rather than “left or right” politics? Wouldn’t that be a change? Of course, right ideas to me means dropping socialist/Marxist ideals and getting back to basic free market economics with more localized governance.

      • Kate8

eddie – Please point out where I am endorsing the Right.

What part of “controls everything” did you not understand?

Anyone with little effort can see how rigged this past election was. Take my home state of Penna.. Obama won by 200,000 votes. Philly alone gave Obama over a 400,000 majority. The democrat machine in Philly as well as other hugh urban centers thoughout the country pulled no punches to post overwhelming numbers to overcome conservative opposition.

You must be referring to South Africa with the blacks in charge.

I just hate when people say anything is “impossible.” ANYTHING is possible. Spending sure doesn’t look like it’s collapsed with all the people waiting in line a day before Thanksgiving to get bargains Thanksgiving day. There was huge hiring in October for the holiday season because retailers are expecting big sales increases. Response to Sandy was as good as could be expected, considering the scope and the fact that some people could not even be reached. Blame the power companies for the delays in getting people onlie. I do believe the military could have helped. BTW – Why are all of the people homeless from Sandy not being put in FeMA camps?

Could those people be people on the dole, or working make-work jobs for Government, or over-paid Government Employees?
When money is taken from Productive people, and given to Non-Productive people, the inevitable result is that the Producers slack off on their Production and the Non-Producers (who never were productive) consume the wealth of the nation until we become just another Socialistic Banana Republic.
Read this article, Karolyn, and learn something (that is, if you can take those rose-colored glasses off long enough to read):

“When money is taken from Productive people, and given to Non-Productive people, the inevitable result is that the Producers slack off on their Production and the Non-Producers (who never were productive) consume the wealth of the nation ” Which is exactly what happened beginning in 1981 as the wealthy and Big Corporate America became the beneficiaries of the largest redistribution of wealth in the history of Man.

I agree it is time to bring the wealth back to the producers…the working man, the Middle Class…and the non-Producing wealthy can fend for themselves instead of living off welfare for the rich programs.

      • eddie47d

The Corporate executives keep taking and taking in million dollar golden parachutes and then wonder why the company can’t make payroll for the actual workers. They dissolve the workers pensions, cut benefits for them and then pay themselves bonuses. Dave H will always blame the working union member and call them name but ignores the person in control of the pie!

      • DaveH

Wealth should not be Redistributed to anybody, whether they are individuals or members of companies.
The best way to assure that is to get Government out of our Marketplaces so they can’t manipulate business in favor of their Crony Capitalists, and to get Government out of the business of giving other unwilling peoples’ wealth away.
Governments’ only role in Society should be to protect people from the Force of others and to punish those who defraud others (which is really just Force since Fraud denies customers the ability to make a reasonable voluntary choice).

This issue, like so many others, always has to come back to “rich vs. poor” with you liberals doesn’t it? That’s socialistic/Marxist thinking if you hadn’t recognized it as such. You should know Dave well enough by now to know when he talks “productive vs. non-productive” he isn’t talking rich vs. poor. He means everyone who is productive and everyone who is non-productive, and he is no fan of crony capitalists who you may think of as the rich businesses. I agree with Dave’s statement, and you should as well because he’s correct.

Karolyn says: “Blame the power companies for the delays in getting people onlie.”

Electric utilites used to be one of the safest investments one could make. Then came DEREGULATION and we got things like Enron. The trees aren’t trimmed, the equipment isn’t upgraded, and the 1% grabs all the money.

SOME regulation is good, particularly for things that people must have.

The right wing deregulated and people suffer.

      Rob

Many electricians showed up, VOLUNTEERING to go in and fix the power so they could get it back on for these people.

FEMA turned them aways because they were NON-UNION.

Same with church groups bringing food, water and supplies. As with Katrina, FEMA would not allow them to come in to help.

THIS is the real truth, and it’s YOUR GOVERNMENT that allows these people to suffer far more than necessary BECAUSE OF STUPID REGULATIONS.

      • JUKEBOX

      • Kate8

Karolyn – I belong to a militia group, and people living on the East coast in the middle of the fray were phoning in reporting on what was going on.

It was from the mouths of those who were experiencing it in real time.

      • Karolyn

Kate – Well, I heard nothing of the sort from my friends and relatives in NJ. Couldit possibly be (horrors) that hearsay was being spread by word of mouth? That is a very likely scenario when people are cut off from the ourside world. A great way for rumors to spread. Much like what we see goes on right here. Emotions were running high, and i can imagine how rumors, especially those against the government, wuld run rampant. I could find nothing online to corroborate churches being turned away an nothing about FEMA turning away anyone.

      • Kate8

Karolyn – Some of the people who called in were volunteers trying to get in to help, and were turned away.

There again the executives of Hostess each insisted on a $3 million dollar bonus and demanded it while the company was tanking. The workers had two unions and one of them settled and the other unwisely kept picketing. We have all become greedy in America and are willing to cut off our noses in spite of our selves.

Karolyn the Company was broke in 2004 and instead of taking on more debt they should have liquidated , the vulture capitalists should be made to throw a bunch of that capital back into the pension plans , because without tariff trade rules to stabilize our economic value against the lower valued nations we are devaluing towards them now without credit as the subsidy we saw be the substitute to this Failed trade policy that started this trend 18 years ago . Look back and before then all these companies were at least sustaining for the most part the USA labor force and a self reliant Industrial base . Today we are broke and Dependent on foreign parts supply , and we can thank a Government that colluded with the vulture capital firms for this demise we face .

      • Kate8

Forget trying to reason with Karolyn or any Leftie. They are hopelessly lost within the Hegelian Dialectic, and don’t even know it.

If these people would simply investigate beyond their Leftist propaganda sites, they would learn the truth behind the “compassion” of liberalism/progressivism.

But, it seems, they simply could not handle it. Their world would shatter.

        Kate,

I would appreciate hearing from you the names of some of these leftist propaganda sites so I can go look at them. Every time I search for something with even the tiniest political connections on the web, I am inundated by multitudes of hits on right wing-nut sites that, upon examination, endlessly repeat the same horsepucky. They just bat it back and forth among themselves like a badminton bird (apparently in the belief that untruths and distortions will magically become truth if repeated often enough).

Where do you suggest I look for this stuff that you contend will destroy my mind and distort my judgment?

      • Kate8

RightBrain – You have got to be kidding.

It’s everywhere, what you would consider ‘mainstream’, I suppose.

Just listen to the news…it’s controlled. You have to actually seek out alternative news.

I investigate sites which are neither right nor left, for the most part, but go after everyone. In any case, if you only listen to TV, radio, etc., it’s leftist controlled. That’s no secret.

Do your own research. You would be one of the typical ideologs who will only accept what fits with your paradigm, anyway, so why should I waste my time with you.

      • Marty S.

The unwritten story about hostess is they saw Ovomit Care coming online soon on top of dealing with the union and figured enough is enough lets just shut this down. Watch for this new pattern to begin occurring more and more frequently as companies realize the futility of doing business in this anti-business country. We are the laughing stock of the world – hows that for fundamental transformation?

      • Robert Smith

“And about 18,000 people lost their jobs at Hostess, how’s that recovery working out?”

For the executives who were in charge just fine. They got millions and millions. They are taken care of.

BTW, what do you want to bet that they will pull a “Kodak” and all the retirees, who worked just as they were supposed to, will have their health care stolen from them?

You say: “Do your own research. You would be one of the typical ideologues (correct spelling) who will only accept what fits with your paradigm, anyway, so why should I waste my time with you?” Denial and evasion, Kate—-go back to the first sentence.

To KG, Just where did you put your brains? You’ve lived in this country for the past 4 years and fail to see what is happening? Obama can no longer blame Bush and the Republicans for our terrible economy, that’s not to say that he won’t try. And people like you will let him get away with it. Remember what happens to one of us in this country eventually happens to all of us, the most important one being LOSS OF FREEDOM.

    • KG

Tell me, exactly, what freedoms you are loosing?
      I’m serious.

      • DaveH

The largest loss? The Freedom to spend our own money as we please. Instead thuggish Progressives help themselves to 40% of the Producers’ money to spend as the Progressives please.
Then there are the myriad other lost Freedoms, such as the Freedom to forgo the losing gamble of Health Care Insurance., the Freedom to choose our own light bulbs, the Freedom to perform services for voluntary customers without the competition-stifling regulatory hoops of Licensing, the Freedom to gamble with our Own money, the Freedom to buy Foreign goods of our choice, the Freedom to work the jobs of our own choice absent the prying eyes of Big Government (Income Taxes), …….
The list goes on almost ad infinitum for myriad individuals all of whom suffer differing Freedom losses depending on their personal needs and desires.

      • Vigilant

Every succeeding business regulation, and THOUSANDS of them have been established in the last four years, is an encroachment on freedom, as are:

Every tax dollar that is redistributed to the indolent and irresponsible who choose not to work.

Every vote cast by fraud, ballot box stuffing, or by someone not qualified to vote.

Every moratorium on drilling for oil and every environmentalist-inspired disinformation to prevent its transport over US lands.

Forcing businesses to abandon health care support to their employees because Obamacare has purposely made it too expensive.

Forcing people to purchase a commercial product (Obamacare).

Every labor union dollar collected from a non-Democrat to support Democrat campaigns.

Every roadblock to the creation of a startup small business venture.

Every misuse of tax dollars to support a failed and failing alternate energy industry as payback to supporters.

Every violation of bankruptcy law that denies bondholders their share in favor of paying off union thugs (GM).

Every illegal federal pressure to stop companies such as Boeing from building plants and creating jobs in right to work states.

Every executive order signed to unconstitutionally override the will of Congress.

Every failure to enforce immigration law.

Care for more? There are a lot more examples.

      • http://www.facebook.com/tony.newbill1 Tony Newbill

KG freedom is being lost with a lack of jobs in the supply-side sector of our economy that creates wealth from expanding supply that in turn reduces Inflation on these supplies and lowering the cost of living .
You cannot solve the Inflation problem thats devaluing the wages people make and how far those dollars go to buy essential needs is supply side economics is stagnate in growth as we see today with the GDP not expanding at a rate that even keeps up with the population growth . Tyranny always starts with economic inflation history shows us this over and over as nations have fallen over the centuries .

      • eddie47d

Thuggish is always Dave H’s favorite word. He uses it like ketchup and puts it on everything Progressive. Except he leaves out the real “thugs” on Wall Street who jimmy rig our economy and make billions doing it. He leaves out the “thuggish” Corporate CEOs who reap millions in personal income while laying off the low wage scale workers. He denies that the Koch Brothers are “thugs” when they destroy the environment (number one polluter). He doesn’t say that Massey Coal has a “thug” boss who has a poor safety record and thinks his workers are literally expendable. He says he doesn’t like crony capitalists yet you never hear him call them “thugs”. He will gladly call union members thugs but not the real takers and destroyers like the Banksters. Somehow bank ponzi schemes don’t make one a bonafide “thug”. Even though by far those “thugs” do the most damage! Dave H will say that Banksters aren’t “thugs” because they are free to do as they please and they have customers who are ever so WILLING to get screwed by them. Yes the Freedom to screw people on the open market doesn’t make these cons “thugs” because it is ever so “legal”.

      • DaveH

Robert says — “The stock market is way up”.
No, it’s way up only in terms of nominal dollars and only in relation to the lows which were established while Obama was in office.
The reality is that the Trillions of newly created money and stimulus packages went mostly to the Crony Capitalists who are politically connected to Government. So naturally the stock prices of those companies have been artificially raised. Their increased nominal values (those values that are unadjusted for Real Inflation) come at the expense of the rest of us. So Robert is bragging about the transfer of wealth from the people to the Crony Capitalists as if it’s a desirable event.
For those who would like to know more about the Real increases in the CPI:
        http://www.shadowstats.com/alternate_data/inflation-charts

And keep in mind that those facts are only the tip of the iceberg. There are plenty more hidden dangers that are lurking to ruin our future. As that great transfer of wealth, from us to the Crony Capitalists, is taking place there is the inevitable malinvestment which is creating an artificial Boom. Yes, we’re in an artificial Boom right now, but the economy is so bad that the Boom is drowned in negative statistics. In other words, the stats would have been much worse (but for only a temporary time) if the Federal Reserve wasn’t pumping large amounts of fiat money into the economy which is artificially propping it up at the expense of Mom and Pop’s savings accounts and fixed incomes. So when the next Bust finally comes, it will make the 2008 collapse look like child’s play. And it will come when they run out of Mom and Pop’s wealth to plunder by creating excess money and Spending our Futures away.

Of course, you are the type who would call someone like that a “Lucky Ducky” because they pay no income tax. Of course they don’t pay income tax, because they don’t MAKE enough to pay income tax.

Anybody with half a brain knows what the Republicans were doing to try and “fix” this election. With all of the “true vote” people, the disenfranchisement of millions of eligible voters, and the outright manipulation of redistricting to make the safest seats ever. I thought you would be happy. This has got to be the most “fair” election we have ever had.

The “47%” comment is what killed Romney. It wasn’t so much that he said it, but in the context and manner in which he said it. If Mr. Obama said that “he liked redistribution of wealth”, I think less Americans would be upset about that, than what Mitt said. Because it’s actually true.

Instead of helping you to build that business so that person washing the toilets can eventually become the general manager, the government has convinced small minded people like you that it is better to take from the business owner and give handouts to the poor, instead of Opportunity.

That should be a good slogan for our libertarian movement: “What we have here is a difference between Handouts or Opportunities”

Or from the famous words of Strother Martin: “What we have here is a failure to communicate”

      • GALT

Gee all that might make a difference and you might have a point if anyone
had a clue what your baseline was………….

      • Bill

I guess it was a little beyond your scope of understanding, Galt

      • Right Brain Thinker

All this talk about toilets makes me want to flush this whole article, which, come to think of it, would be an appropriate place for it.

      • GALT

Sorry Bill…..but “What we have… he.ah…. is your INABILITY to communicate.”

    • Beef

KG – The legacy media fixated on the 47% comment and ignored the rest. You claim (possibly correctly) that 47% comment brought Romney down. So, it would seem that media bias brought Romney down. Thanks for making WARs point.

Three days after Katrina the media was in full hysteria mode. They had to wait until after the election to suggest that maybe more should be done for Sandy victims. I agree with one of the other commenters, there is only so much FEMA can do, but that fact only gets rolled out when a Democrat is on the hot seat.

      • Robert Smith

Oh sheesh…. Here is some of the craziest “logic” I’ve seen in a long time. It’s particularly crazy because they claim that folks are responsible for themselves.

“You claim (possibly correctly) that 47% comment brought Romney down. So, it would seem that media bias brought Romney down. ”

No, the “media” did no such thing. ROMNEY was the one who said it, and probibly believes it. Why don’t you put responsibility on him?

Besides, the “media” is mostly big business, you know CORPORATIONS. Guys like Rupert are in charge.

        Rob

      • momo

Robert Smith says: ” It’s particularly crazy because they claim that folks are responsible for themselves.”

Smith, this has got to be the dumbest thing you’ ve ever posted, and you’ve posted a sh!t load of dumb things.

      • Kate8

LOL. That pretty much says it all about Robert and his cohorts, doesn’t it.

      • JUKEBOX

I wonder how many jobs Robert Smith has been offered by a poor welfare recipient.

      • Beef

Thank you for taking my comment out of context and attacking it, thereby demonstrating a favorite tactic of the legacy media. I stand by the notion that what the legacy media chooses to report or not report affects the votes of a lot of people.

Also, thank you for pointing out that big business is not solely beholden to Republicans. We should not forget that besides the legacy media, Obama surrounds himeself with CEOs of companies like Google and Microsoft, and that Jon Corzine, prominent Democrat politician, was CEO of Goldman Sachs.

    • DaveH

KG says — “Of course they don’t pay income tax, because they don’t MAKE enough to pay income tax”.
Then KG whines about the “the disenfranchisement of millions of eligible voters”.
So asking them to prove who they are, before they get to vote to spend Other Peoples’ Money, is somehow wrong?

    • Capitalist at Birth

Unfortunately the 47% comment is sad but true. You, are evidently apart of the 47 % that is jealous, envious, and wish you could just steal what others have earned.

      • Robert Smith

ROFL… Tell that to the retired military folks.

        Rob

      • eddie47d

Your as nutty as a Holiday fruitcake Capitalist at Birth. It also includes all SS and Medicare recipients who number in the millions. It includes parents who have enough kids and receive enough deductions to not have to pay taxes. Maybe by the end of the day you will win the Turkey Award although you do have alot of competition.

      • Nadzieja Batki

Robert Smith, as always with your phony concern.

      • Marty S.

        Capitalist,

It is no longer a wish for them but now a reality to steal and pillage the producers of this society. Only problem with their plan is they fail to look at examples such as the former USSR and see the final outcome of their stupidity.

    • Robert Rashbrooke

      You are only partially correct. Republicans are what killed Mitt. He proved over the course of a year;

that he was totally lacking in moral fiber by saying whatever he thought his audience wanted to hear at that time, irrespective of whether he thought it correct or not

that he had no understanding of how difficult life is for people living week to week on a barely adequate paycheck

that he had no understanding of how hypocritical it was to stash his millions away in a FOREIGN bank to avoid paying US tax on it

that by repeatedly refuting without argument or fact to back it up, any and all achievements of the Democrats, even policies that he had previously approved of and supported.

Why, do you suppose, that the likes of Karl Rove et al, picked GWB and Mitt as candidates when there were and are much more intelligent people that could have been selected to run. The answer is simple – these two were entirely malleable and it was not necessary for either of them to actually win, that result would be an advantage, as evidenced by George’s win with Dick pulling the strings.

Even so, close to 50 million non thinking people voted for him.

  • GALT

Would that make you an “official banana”? How’s that IRS persecution thing going?

Will the Pat’s cover today? How about the moneyline on the Texan’s?

BTW are you going to do a yard sale…..or a going out of business auction?

Also willard is going to be moving on this Hostess thing………don’t you have a
    “quid pro quo” coming?

We really should talk about the Nevada Corp thing……. ( and other real people things )

Proper Planning Does Prevent Piss Poor Performance…….and IRS audits.

You know where to find me……..

    • GALT

Hey Wayne…..let’s do a blog…….we could call it……The ROOT Canal!

Banana + Panama + Root = stream of consciousness intellectual property

      God do I LOVE capitalism……

      • Right Brain Thinker

Excellent. In addition to bananas, is there any way to work grapes (SOUR) into the equation?

    • DaveH

The usual Personal Attacks in lieu of Facts from the Liberal Progressives.

      • eddie47d

You mean the comment from Susy? Petty cheap and a dog and pony show all in one sentence!

      • Flashy

DaveH … they’re not personal attacks. it’s actually making fun of the mentally deficient and handicapped.

BTW…no Mises link to support the article’s contentions?

      • DaveH

Thank you for completing the Trio of Stooges, Flashman.

      • Right Brain Thinker

No, no, no, Dave. You’re dead wrong yet AGAIN. WE are not the Three Stooges I referred to (and you stole my idea without crediting me—pretty bad behavior for a guy who is always screaming about “sources”). You and WTS(Jay) are two of them, but I’m having a tough time coming up with the third so far—no one sinks to the depths that you two do..

      • DaveH

Brain (Right) says — “but I’m having a tough time coming up with the third so far—no one sinks to the depths that you two do”.
Feel Free to dispute anything I say, Brain (Right). Quit hiding behind your vague generalizations and personal attacks and instead cite specific instances of erroneous comments.
And thank you guys for helping me expose to the readers the level of intellectual bankruptcy that is exhibited by the average Liberal Progressive. One of your comments is worth a thousand of my words in that exposure.

      • Flashy

I would nominate JeffH…about as much value as the other two you named RBT

      • DaveH

Unlike you adolescent manipulative equivocating Liberal Progressives, Flashman, JeffH posts factual intelligent comments many of which are supported by referenced articles.
Feel free, anytime, to dispute specific facts that JeffH posts, Flashman, and please cite some references to back up your nonsense (if you can find any).

      • Right Brain Thinker

Good choice, Flash, but there’s a small problem.

I said somewhere else on the site that JeffH and DaveH might be the same person—-that DaveH has a split personality and his two personas talked to each other. If that IS true, we would have to photoshop in a second DaveH in order to get “JeffH” into the group picture of The Three Stooges.

I intend to make a buck selling those pictures—-they will be in great demand among the deluded folks that pay attention to anything the Stooges say as if it were actually the truth.

And didn’t Dave mean to say “One of our comments is worth a HUNDRED THOUSAND of his words”? Or does it only seem that way.

      • DaveH

Thinker (hardly) says — “I said somewhere else on the site that JeffH and DaveH might be the same person—-that DaveH has a split personality and his two personas talked to each other”.
You guys are like little children, probing for any nonsensical way to attack your opponent, regardless of the fact that you have no credibility, and no evidence whatsoever to support your parrot-like accusations. And like little children, instead of factual rebuttals you must resort to name-calling, ridicule, and the other manipulative tools of the Liberal Progressive trade.
For those who don’t know what I mean by “parrot-like”, see this very factual exposure of the multiple personalities of Flashman:
        http://personalliberty.com/2011/05/16/what-now/#comment-341969

      • DaveH

Brain (yeah, Right) says — “And didn’t Dave mean to say “One of our comments is worth a HUNDRED THOUSAND of his words”? Or does it only seem that way”

Another childish parrot-like comment from a typical Liberal Progressive.

      • Right Brain Thinker

Wind Dave up and listen to him babble—like those “squeeze the hand and watch them sing and dance” dolls—-same song, same dance—-every time—-so boring!

And he is defending JeffH? Or is he actually defending himself because HE is JeffH? Or…..? I’m so confused trying to figure out “Who” DaveH is. I DO know “Who” Galt is.

And did I call it earlier or not? Dave is predictably screaming for references for what the legal system calls “self evident” and doesn’t waste any time arguing about. LOL If DaveH had been Moses when God handed down the ten commandments, he would have asked God to provide “references” to back up the “nonsense” on the tablets. LMAO

      • DaveH

Time to go back to your sand box, Brain (more like nitwit).

      • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Wake The Sleepers(Jay)

Flaccid says: DaveH … they’re not personal attacks. it’s actually making fun of the mentally deficient and handicapped.

Speaking of the mentally deficient and handicapped, Flaccid, shouldn’t somebody be looking out for Galt. He’s careening to and fro on this thread, and i fear he will do much harm to himself.

      • JeffH

Falsy and RBT, it’s been proven time and again that neither one of you have anything credible to say…other than your constant ad hominem comments and your “you lost” or blaming “Bush ,conservatives or the Tea Party” for everything wrong in America you guys haven’t the remotest clue, other than promoting your “progressive ideals” and spewing your own ignorant conspiracies, of why this nation has declined to the level it is at today.

RBT(anything but a thinker), thank you for including me in your DaveH conpiracy. That’s a badge of honor coming from you progressive whips.

In my view your progressive behavior tends to be persistently, almost defiantly counterproductive to the rights Americans traditionally hold dear, and which the progressives themselves insist they revere, in particular, our inalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

“Good” is anything which advances the Progressive Program; and “evil” is anything which threatens it. Accordingly, individuals who hinder the Progressive Program are a danger to mankind’s very essence. They are evil, and must be rehabilitated or eliminated.”
        - Open Wide and Say Moo!

Since the behavior of American Progressives like you guys is so often inconsistent with the values you (most of them, at least) insist they love as well as any American, I’ve concluded that you must either be prevaricators or self-deluded when it comes to telling us what you are are really up to. Either way, if we want to know what you really think, and what your agenda really is, we’ll just have to allow you your precious “freedom of speech”.

Don’t need to be a scholar or a college graduate to figure that out, just some good old common sense and the ability to think with both sides of your brain. You really ought to try it sometime.

      • DaveH

They’re getting desperate, JeffH. They can’t beat us in any kind of factual or logical debate, so they do what Liberal Progressives do best — Act like Children.

      • JeffH

DaveH, yep. You’re a threat to their message and I guess I am too…but you’ve really got ‘em upset…and that’s a good thing.

    • Capitalist at Birth

You have no right to use Galt as a name, considering you sound like a Totalitarian Socialist.

Once again, subtlety and irony are wasted on the iron-headed. Great handle, Galt—-wish I had thought of it. RBT just confuses them. And I can’t recall anyone up until now even making the connection to “Who” John Galt was? Took long enough.

      • DaveH

      • Right Brain Thinker

So many Stooges, so few seats for them on our “team”. I had forgotten about Vigilant—he is definitely in the same league as JeffH, if not quite up to the other two.

Perhaps we need to develop a “Stooge team” based on a football or some other sport analogy? You know—right half brain, left half brain, full no brain, way off center, left needs a guard, and like that? Would give us more positions than just the three. (Baseball won’t work because all these guys are clumped so far out in left field that they often can’t be found).

And thank you for the offer of your words, Galt. I will also throw some of mine out there into the public domain for all to use. They seem to shut DaveH up sometimes. They’re not mine anyway—I stole them from Brandon of the Purple Prose and “Statist Thug” Hall of Shame Thank you Brandon.

“Inanities, distortions, and untruths flow out of the dark recesses and rotten sputtering gutters of XXXX’s brain like a river of septic putrescence”. (Choose your XXXX)

If that’s good enough to be used in a feature article that Bob Livingston himself touted, it’s certainly good enough to apply to our Stooges.

Those of us who hinder or resist the progressive program are a danger to mankind’s very essence. You believe we are evil, and must we be rehabilitated or eliminated.

I really do understand why we are your enemy.

The progress sought in Progressivism was to be an ongoing process through which society at large would evolve benefit under the guise of “the state,” administered by specialists, scientists, and the expertise of elitst intellectuals. They also agreed that only government so populated with and administered by elitists could be up to the job. Such a government, they argued, has the resources and the expertise could accomplish such an organizational task.
        - Progressives and their “Tug-O-War”
        http://freedomlessons.net/freedom-101/progressives-and-tug-o-war/

According to the Declaration of Independance, if you’ll recall, rights such as Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness come from nature, are gifts of God, and therefore precede government. According to the progressives something close to the reverse needs be believed. Rights come after governments because “rights” are the results of positive actions taken by those in power.

In the context of individual freedom progressives seek to roll back, not forward, the hands of progress; they seek regression, not progression.

Of course the voting was rigged and the persuit of conservative destruction is relentless and undying. The perpetual war tactics being waged by the left would make Sun Tzu blush with envy. Is America Now Officially A Banana Republic?

        NO – NO – NO

America is a country under siege by evil forces bent on stealing and exploiting all of Americas vast natural resources, including its people, military forces and technology.

These evil forces have taken control of mass media, most of government, the school system…

We as Americans will learn to see what has happened and is happening to our country or will perish into history as greatest nation and people that would not fight for what they had.

        Laus Deo
        Semper Fi

      • Kate8

FF – I wonder the same thing. It seems that it’s mostly the older Americans (who have actually been educated in our founding documents) who are standing up for freedom…
And too many of the younger set, in their ignorance, have fallen for the empty promises of socialism and communism, yet again…

I guess it’s hard to understand that which you’ve never experienced. None of us have known true freedom in our lifetimes, but we did have far more of it in our youth. At least we understand the principle.

It seems that interest is picking up across the nation. People know things are really wrong. The question is, are there enough people left whose brains have not been rendered too docile to get up from in front of the tube, or to find enough people in our own towns who are willing to stand beside us against the onslaught that is sure to come when we make waves.

BTW, have you all seen this video yet? I know it’s Thanksgiving, but save this one. It’s marvelous and very well done.

        >> The danger to America is not Barack Obama, but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America . Blaming the prince of fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama, who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools, such as those who made him their President.

While it might seem to be an indication of something, Kate……that people might
believe that something is really wrong…….is not an any indication that they
have a clue what it is………..and until there is a consensus…..about what is
        ACTUALLY WRONG……nothing will change…….

In an effort to help….to determine what is REALLY WRONG…….I offer….

That we have two choices………evolve or perish.

This is a species problem ( homo sapiens sapiens ) which is ruled by it’s biology and a “brain” that is stuck in 50,000 B.C.E.

With the advent of agriculture, we have been on a path to self extinction, whose final chapter began with the discovery of ( stored carbon based energy ) and that is now, rapidly asserting its effects, which are overwhelming the illusion of the temporary benefits that resulted from it.

These benefits did not arise from any altruistic motivations, for this aspect of eusocial behavior in humans seems to be restricted to reproductive genetics regarding lineage, and not from any general tendencies toward pragmatic co-operative behavior among species members, who are tribal in nature and still maintain the dominant hierarchical model which has been with us for 195,000 years.

Unfortunately, because our empirical understanding has been fairly recent regarding the REALITY which defines our existence, we are also governed by the “mythologies” we have created to explain our rather peculiar differences from other species, so that we are now faced with a complete breakdown of almost all of our previously held “beliefs” regarding every aspect of our rather arrogant claim to “superiority” over others of our own kind, and every other form of life.

This willfull ignorance persists and is clearly evidenced, each and everyday for all to see, in every venue……….and because we are ruled by our biology, our behavior and our perceptions are locked into and “us” ( small subset ) vs. “them” ( very large subset ) conditioned response loop, which short circuits and overwhelms any possibility of “logical reasoned intellect” being able to overcome the “mythologies” which still govern our lives and will lead us to the first instance of “self imposed extinction” since complex life arose on this planet.

We have no choice but to adapt to this reality or succumb to it, and we no longer have the luxury of waiting for the willfully ignorant to die and be replaced by those capable of acknowledging what all the evidence has made abundantly clear. ( some assembly required )

For those who are capable of comprehending what has been written here and seek further knowledge regarding the biological conditioning we have been unable to transcend or escape from……..I recommend the following reading as the most efficient and rapid assimilation of the relevant information so that one may proceed to other “mythologies” which require disposition and for which this information is a fundamental requirement.

GALT – Fairly good assessment, except to put the blame for our “tribal” nature and ideological/religious mythologies on “we” is not quite accurate.

The human animal is easily indoctrinated from birth with the “truths” to which he is exposed. Who invented these mythologies in the first place, planting them in the minds of early man to be handed down and modified according to the desires of some mysterious higher echelon? For we have been guided all along by some unseen hand, molding and altering our perceptions to suit their own agendas.

It is only too obvious that, even as many are waking up to the realities that our “reality” is being manufactured for us, too many still cling to their cherished ideals and dogmas, enabling those steering us by crisis after crisis to continue the ruse.

Who knows what’s actually ‘natural’ for man to do. We’ve never had the opportunity to discover it. We’ve always been manipulated into believing that our beliefs are the right beliefs, our way is the correct way; other beliefs are a result of indoctrination and are in need of enlightenment…

The truth is that we are ALL indoctrinated, and that beliefs are only that…what one personally (or collectively) holds as truth above question…

We are now coming to realize that everything we’ve been taught as truth is false, with the intent to keep us from evolving. This includes religion, science, history…

What does true evolution even look like? We have those telling us we must evolve…but what does that mean? For we will never truly evolve until we can accept that all we hold as true is a lie, no matter what that “truth” is… for you can’t put new wine in old wineskins without tainting it for all time.

      • Kate8

BTW, Is it natural for man to be controlled through fear, terrorized into submission?

What if the “natural” state is a state of love and awe for all of Creation? If we were not taught otherwise, would we still perceive others as inferior? Would we choose to live in joy and harmony as a whole, even while perhaps living in distinct groups, and still respecting and honoring those not within our own groups?

If we were free to express ourselves and talents unhindered, finding joy in the expressions of one another, would we still need to seek those who would control us, or seek to control?

The need to control arises out of fear of not being in control, I imagine. The truth is that the Earth is bountiful enough for everyone if we were allowed to use it for the good of all, rather than being controlled by the few…

Typical galt, cannot say anything of substance same for flashy on his comments. libtards for most and always. I know, i know, name calling and all of that, but your presence does not warrant any other type of response.

      • Karolyn

Kate – I support your hypothesis. We are all indoctrinated from even before we’re born, since many say that babies do take in what they hear while in utero.

      • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Wake The Sleepers(Jay)

Galt says: With the advent of agriculture, we have been on a path to self extinction, whose final chapter began with the discovery of ( stored carbon based energy ) and that is now, rapidly asserting its effects, which are overwhelming the illusion of the temporary benefits that resulted from it.

Well that confirms it. Galt has now shown himself to be certifiably-insane! Life on Earth, which to date is the only type of life we know, is exclusively carbon based, you tool! A major reduction in CO2 levels will result in reduced crop yeilds and world wide famine. Increased CO2 levels lead to increased crop yeilds. Did you know that green houses actually “pump” CO2 into there controlled atmospheres to improve plant growth, dumbbell?

      • GALT

Kate,,,,thank you for both responses….I actually went through the first one meticulously
and the hit the wrong button…it got lost.. and I am…..

The TRUTH…..about life……is………YOU IZ GONNA DIE!!!!!!

The “indoctrination” is about telling you, that what YOU KNOW TO BE TRUE…is
        not true………

Us ( people animals ) knowing and seeing and living and watching and doing……
and just keeping on….. to be keeping on……….DO NOT LIKE THIS!

All the “other animals” know this……or if it can not be said that they KNOW this…
they persist in the continuation of what they do know……

WE live our lives in denial of what we do know……and don’t want to know…..

And then someone comes along and says……

    • wandamurline

George Soros found someone that hates America and on a positive spin for him, the guy happens to be half black….what a find. Soros owns the medias, except for a couple, so they work for him…and the puppet in the president’s suit has no problem with using his skin pigmentation as a shield of protection…because America has become politically correct, anyone who disagrees with his policies is a racist. Soros wants economic collaspe to make him billions of dollars….Obama wants it just because he does not like America and feels that America has been a bully to other countries even though we have helped other countries across the world. Soros is the puppet master and Obama is the puppet along with the medias, and the people who cannot open their eyes to facts are just plain morons. America will enter the “pain” phase beginning in January…I hope we have a lot of pain (even thought those who have a brain and voted against this regime will hurt along with the morons) because the only way the free loaders and the brain dead will “get it” is to suffer…and suffer they will beginning in 2013.

      • Susy

That is right. One thing that barack hussein obama barry soetero has in common with Castro and Chavez Communist regimes is that they all consider the US a colonizer…
        Forward indeed…

      • Flashy

Ahhh..the bogeyman is under the bed! no, he’s in the closet! uh uh he’s behind the door!

        Jeesh…

Now tell me how many conservative outlets do Rupurt Murdoch and Robert Scaife own

      • Brian W

Maybe other countries around the world don’t really appreciate the kind of “help” the USA gives them. Such as garrisoning most of the world with nearly 1000 military bases. Or launching wars to “bring them democracy”. Or running covert ops in numerous countries to subvert their governments or replace leaders the Americans disagree with. Or inventing rumours about WMDs or nuclear ambitions as leverage for military intervention. Help is defined as something that benefits the recipient, not the giver. It looks very different from outside the American reality-distortion field. In fact it looks a lot like the things the USSR used to be heavily criticised for. But no one is more critical than the one who has things to hide himself.

      • educated

Education is whats lacking ..for people who believe this crap….
people please become educated.. help this our Country grow..

      • Doug Rodrigues

Flashy below has no clue about the subversion going on. How pathetic. Hey Flashy, I suggest you do some basic research to discover that there is a 5th Column in government intent on overthrowing the Constitution and Bill of Rights. Of course, you can just keep your head buried in the sand. In that way you won’t be able to see reality for what it is and you’ll continue to delude yourself that the world is a safer place.

      • Right Brain Thinker

Education is something that many folks on this site resist. They would rather cling to wrong beliefs than examine them. Self-examination requires thinking and thinking is work. They would rather live in the comfortable “welfare state” of the far right, sucking up every lie and distortion of reality that their owners feed them. And in case you don’t know who their “owners” are, I speak of the 1% that have convinced them to go against their own best interests and the greater good of the nation.

      • Right Brain Thinker

I second what Doug says, Flashy. GO DO YOUR RESEARCH. May I suggest you begin looking for that fifth column behind every door that has “Republican” on it.

      • Flashy

RBT ! Give me time ! i’m tourIng the FEMA camps and noting who is to be assigned where when President Obama declares martial law. then I’m scheduled to attend a NWO cell meeting, visit the super secret climate control facilities (y’know the site…the one adjacent to Area 51), I alsohave a report to read on the cover up of millions of those fraudulent votes used to swing the election and a memo on the success in hacking into the voting machines

i’ll see you at the Currency manipulation planning meeting after that seminar you’re leading (I like the title ! “10 East Steps in Brainwashing Using the Alinsky Method” … Catchy ! )

      • Right Brain Thinker

Speaking of FEMA camps, one of my hobbies is model railroading and I also do what is called “railfanning” with the real trains. I have been studying those “FEMA cars” whenever I come across some that are parked. The Fifth Column has already gotten to them because they’re all full of automobiles! How will we ever find room in them for the people that they were REALLY meant to transport?

      • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Wake The Sleepers(Jay)

Flashy says: Ahhh..the bogeyman is under the bed! no, he’s in the closet! uh uh he’s behind the door!

Ha, and don’t forget the biggest bogeyman of them all, Flashy; the dreaded and evil, carbon; CO2! Oooooh, run children, run for your lives, the end is near, but first, vacate your premises and give us all your money!

remember people,it took the progressives thirty(or more)years to lie, cheat, steal, bribe, blackmail, threaten and yes kill to get this country where it is today,in the [expletive deleted]!but this is what they beleive is the right path.for a progressive this is the start of their demise, because the truth is getting out to everyone now.it will take as much time to undoe what Obama and his henchmen have done, but it is already starting with what wll you people are saying now and you have to keep it up and keep digging and finding the truth, expose thrse bastards for what they really are.their are people who will tell the truth sooner or later,it always happens, history tells us that and that is why yhe progressives have ben rewriting history books and just plain trying to ban certain books about the history of theU.S. and everywhere on the planet!but you cant give up,Obama will falter when he tries to become a king!thats what hes wanted out of all this,he tried it his first term but failed, check it out for yourself, hes going to use several ways to succeed, but its up to us(we the people)to stop it.other ruling forces have tried in the past and its always failed!people faught against it once they see the truth for themselves, but it will end,we have to stick to our guns(so to speak)and get this country back, and save ourselves in the proccess!the uppaty group will turn on itselves and when that happens thats when we must coninue moving forward and keep challenging the gov’t,they will tax and regulate themselves to death!this form of a ruling class(gov’t)never lasts….although Obama told all of us his plan was differant and will succeed, but hes WRONG!!

Reading your comments I see another moron, your just wrapped in an idiot

    • Robert Smith

From the article: “. Not a word mentioned that Mitt Romney won every State requiring voter photo ID,”

That’s because Romney already CONTROLLED those states where the voter suppression was going on via the ID.

      Rob

      • Kate8

Once again, Robert, you spout such tripe.

What you are calling “voter supression” is not allowing those without ID to vote (meaning ILLEGALS and those who cheat). You seem to thing it’s “voter supression” to try to stop people from voting multiple times in multiple precincts.

Citizens are required to have ID to do ANYTHING, especially to collect welfare. What you democrats are actually making possible is for even citizens to vote w/o showing ID, so they can cast multiple ballots, and so the dead and fictitious can vote, as well.

Thanks to you and people like you, our elections are meaningless. We may as well just let the PTB pick our “leaders” straight out… Oh, wait. They do.

        Moron.

      • eddie47d

There is not near as much voter fraud as being claimed. Illegals have no reason to vote and would jeopardize themselves if they did. Phony hype in most cases.

      • Robert Smith

Kate8 says: “Thanks to you and people like you, our elections are meaningless. ”

Really? Well, if it’s so common why don’t you have some examples?

The fact is that illegals WILL NOT take a chance on future citizenship and go to the polls.

The fact is also that used to be opposed to ID cards. Remember that 666 thing?

But when the figured that it would take some folks (particularly minorities) out of elections they changed their tune.

        The hypocracy is amazing.

        Rob

      • Kate8

That idea about disenfranchising minorities is just more tripe, Robert, and you know it.

Anyone can get an ID card. I’ve never known anyone who didn’t have one. Doesn’t have to be a driver’s license…

I’ve never been opposed to some form of ID. I’m against having to show it for anything and everything, or having to carry it everywhere we go. And I’m against having them contain chips for tracking, and I’m against being chipped.

Don’t put words in my mouth…or fingers, as it were.

You democrats just look for ways to cheat, because you know that if you play fair, you’ll lose. Repeating the same lie over and over will never make it true.

Cheaters always get their come-uppance at some point. I can’t wait until you guys get yours.

      • George E

        Eddie,

The problem is we really don’t know how much voter fraud there is because we don’t have voter ID and strict oversight of the voting process. Until this is fixed many people will continue to believe our elections are rigged. I don’t think any of us really want that.

      • truesoy

        George;
        …and eddie, too..,

But didn’t Romney lost Florida?. By the way, Florida is a ‘voter Id’ State, I thought you should know, that way next time you two can produce a more intelligent post.
You lost, period. Accept it and move on.

        Sincerely,
        Truesoy

      • Jana

        Robert,
I have been at the polling booth when a commotion took place. It was a group of 8 illegals who came in to vote. They had gone toanother polling station to vote and our voting judges were warned ahead of time that they might show up.
I live in Tx. This was several years ago. They have become better organized now.
Oh yes, what about the Black Panthers standing outside polling stations to intimidate? Go ahead and believe your assertion that there is no voter fraud going on.

    • JUKEBOX

The old adage “HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF” is applicable here, looking back to the election of Jack Kennedy, when the Chicao vote came in late. This guy is far superior to Kennedy when it comes to corruption and concealment.

      • Robert Smith

        And your evidence is?

        Oh that’s right, it’s “concealed.”

ROFL… Another empty right wing jabber session.

        Rob

I think that these media outlets should be burned to the ground as they have not done the job that they are given to do.by our government to do for the people and Obama should be

Not even Faux, oops Fox News?

        Rob

    • Sharon Hamann

As abhorrent as Obama is, add Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Mitch McConnell, John Boehner and a host of others to that list. Oh, Chris Christy is also a self serving big mouthed piece of dirt. Just thought I’d mention him even though he is not a Washington toe dancer. Who in government can be counted on to do the will of the people and honor the oath they took to protect the constitution, an oath taken with their hand on a Bible? Not a single one of them. They are all self-protecting, self-serving money grubbing liars, all of them. This is made quite evident by their giving themselves raises, dismissing themselves from a national retirement system and healthcare system, and enriching their personal coffers with ill-gotten riches, like Nancy Pelosi and others participating in insider trading and “innocently” declaring she didn’t know she was doing it. If she is really that stupid, what business does she have in government. Martha Stewart went to prison for the same thing, why should this twit be exempt? Also, it proves just how stupid the American people are, and in a way, electing Obama is proof positive of that.

      • Kate8

        Bravo, Sharon. Well said.

At least we can be grateful this Thanksgiving that these jokers are soon going to be thrown out on their behinds.

It’s my dream and I’m stickin’ to it. Who knows… It could happen.

      • Robert Smith

But it didn’t happen his time.

        The PEOPLE spoke.

        Rob

      • http://www.facebook.com/stephen.lohrstorfer Steve Lohrstorfer

Put Sharon on that list of how stupid americans are.Run for office Sharon

      • Robert Rashbrooke

        Sharon,

Martha did NOT go to prison for insider trading, that was never proven against her. What she DID go to prison from was lying to the FBI.

I realise that it suits your bigotry to include her as another example of just how crooked the democrats are. We have posts earlier on explaining how our bigotry arises and what we must do if we are ever to prosper again, which is not necessarily the overturning of anything and everything President Obama has accomplished. Far too many of our population and especially those engaged in politics, say anything that backs their (often) bigoted view of the world. It is up to each individual to ascertain if what has been postulated is in fact TRUE.
