Obama Victory Tweet Sets Record

CHICAGO, (UPI) — President Barack Obama’s victory message on Twitter has become the website’s most re-tweeted post of all time, with more than 500,000 shares.

The microblogging site said Obama’s celebratory tweet of “Four more years” quickly rose to a record 500,000, USA Today reported Wednesday. By 11:20 a.m. EST, it had been re-tweeted 671,943 times, a UPI check indicated.

The tweet Tuesday night included a photo of the president with his wife, first lady Michelle Obama.
