Although I think too many people live on the coast and in low lying areas ChuckB many victims are far from shore when a hurricane hits. Since the government can’t stop these people from building on the coast or in tornado zones or flood plains should FEMA be abolished and everyone is strictly on their own? The Red Cross is helping these newest victims and that is not near enough ChuckB.We have all seen pictures of Europe after the war and how the Marshall Plan helped rebuild those communities. The New York and Jersey area looks like a war zone so shouldn’t we have our own FEMA (Marshall Plan) for digging ourselves out? Plus the states would better assist each other with this kind of an approach say where each state Representatives collaboration with each other on these crisis issues could be quicker with response than having to cut through the red tape a Bureaucracy of Federal Government statues creates . Remember also it is the coastal areas that receive the brunt of these disasters and that is how we receive and ship out most of our commerce goods. You benefit from those goods yet you want to put the full burden on those state. aka Oil refineries in Texas and Louisiana,oil spills in Florida and Alaska,huge shipping centers in Southern California and New Jersey. If these states receive the brunt of earthquakes or hurricanes then wouldn’t the costs of goods go up if they have to bear the burden of all the potential damages within that state? Nebraska and So Dakota gain from commerce (grains) going in and out of these ports yet they have few disasters to contend with. So are we the UNITED States of America and share in all the benefits and problems that go along with these disasters?

You can’t tell me that’s not already going on. If someone’s in his 80s and his entire body is shutting down, you can’t tell me the doctor will advise the same level of care he would for someone 45 or 50 years old. I know I faced that with my father, and Obama had nothing to do with it. I was sick in the hospital about 5 years ago and the doctors made heroic efforts to save me. I was in my early 50s and in otherwise excellent shape but I got pneumonia complicated by Type 1 diabetes. I doubt they would have made the same efforts for someone 80+ or without my wife there advocating for me.

We “ration” care now based on class. No one likes the idea of rationing, but it may become necessary to take a second look at the amount we spend on “care” given in the last weeks or months of life. Obviously, if there’s a chance of recovery, you go for it. But spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on a patient who will clearly not recover may have to be rethought. We spend an enormous % of our medical budget in the last weeks of life. Many times hospice is the better alternative. If patients and their families are advised of these options, many will choose the less costly and more humane route, thereby obviating the need for actual “rationing.”

Relative to the Global Warming issue, I have been doing the low carbon footprint thing since I got out of the service in the early ’70s. It just seemed like the more responsible thing to do if we were to ever become successful planetary stewards, but the latest round of global warming, in addition to whatever natural cyclic pattern it may be under, has also been exacerbated by ChemTrails, which the government first denied, but it has now been revealed that its program had been significantly ramped up during and since the first Bush administration.

The sodium and barium salts they’ve used to supposedly reflect sunlight back out to space during the daytime have, in actuality, been reflecting far more infraRed radiation back down toward Earth during the dark phase of rotation, when the Earth would have been dissipating a lot of this load back out to space.

Remember, Bush41 was and is a hard core globalist and the goal of the globalist elite has been, all along, to take advantage of any and all events, whether man-made or natural, in order to better one’s position from before that event, taking advantage, if you will, of famine, drought, floods, wars; any variation from the normal stream of events, where most people would have placed their investments. In a nutshell, the globalists make their living hedging against humanity, not for it. Couple that with contributing author [The Nation] Holly Sklar’s commentary about those globalists, that they seek to remove all vestiges of nationalistic and ethnic identity so that no one group or nation will be able to muster enough resistance to thwart the efforts of global unification. That isn’t an exact quote but it’s close enough.

As I see it, the globalists would hedge their bets on global warming as long as they could get maximum mileage from it, and then hedge their bets on global cooling if it would also make then a buck. So, I don’t doubt for a moment that, while we do need responsible planetary management, these folks have already shown us that they couldn’t manage a lemonade stand without stealing the first 50 cents that came in, to say nothing of working out the efficiency bugs in the operation. Thus, while they’ve put their eggs in the Global Warming basket for the time being, using HAARP and Chemtrailing, as I see it, guaranty them their golden goose, they will have drastically skewed the trend toward warming, but under the guise of controlling it.

The HAARP project, as it was more recently developed from Tesla’s work, was taken over by the government. I had heard a lecture by the inventor’s son, who said his father had only good intentions for controlling the weather, not to have it seized for military purposes. As his some stated, he died a depressed and broken man.

We do need to practice more energy efficient means of living, but the globalists have all but guaranteed that whatever Carbon Taxes come in are NOT going to be used for more efficient and responsible living on the planet, but to more quickly drain the economies of the world that haven’t yet figured out that their plan, at least, was a scam. muse – are you aware that each state sets time limits on welfare? Granted some are more lenient than others, but welfare is definitely not an unlimited source of income. There are also limits on how many new children can be added. Oh believe me, I have heard some stories that are mindboggling. A friend of mine knows a family with two sisters who have 8-10 kids each, following a long line of large families. When they run out of welfare in SC, they move to NC. There will always be people who work the system. However, there does need to be a safety net for those in need. Here is an overview of TANF (Temporary Assistance to Needy Families) funding, which is extremely low in some states, certainly not enough to live on. Of course, Food Stamp benefits provide for their food. I know a man of 64, living on $850 month SS who only receives $25 per month Food Stamps.

There are no easy answers, and I do understand why people get upset about the waste and abuse. I see it every day here in rural SC). Despite the tightening measures that have gone on, there needs to be more oversight.
