A Tenther’s Guide To The Election

A Tenther’s Guide To The Election
PHOTOS.COM

ten·ther \ˈten-thər\  noun

1. A person who supports the Constitution: every issue, every time, no exceptions and no excuses.

2. Those who actively use the principles of decentralization to advance the cause of liberty.

see alsoTenther Movement

Ron Paul is out. Gary Johnson and Jill Stein are not going to win. Barack Obama and Mitt Romney represent the classic “lesser of two evils” situation. Rocky Anderson and Virgil Goode are barely a blip on the radar.

Look, I’ve heard all the arguments in this Presidential election. A vote for anyone but Romney is a vote for Obama. A win for Romney means the right will go back to sleep like they were under George W. Bush. The lesser of two evils is still evil. And more.

Like every other Presidential election, people everywhere are shouting from the rooftops: “This is the most important vote of your lifetime!” But all these arguments are missing the point entirely.

The 2012 Presidential election is not a make-or-break election. America, as the Founders envisioned, has already been broken for a long, long time.

Broken

That’s no understatement, either. Pick a clause of the Constitution, and it has likely been violated to the point of nonexistence. Read through the Bill of Rights and you’ll see how few of those essential liberties are truly in place today.

We live under a Federal dictatorship of sorts. Sure, you get to choose your oppressors every few years, but those people still claim the power to do plenty. They tell you what kind of light bulbs you can own and how big your toilet can be. They will arrest you for growing a plant in your backyard and fine you for not purchasing an insurance product. They relentlessly spy on you, monitor phone calls and read emails.

They drop bombs wherever they want around the world; Constitutional requirements for Congressional declarations of war are now considered an anachronism. If they don’t like your opposition to what they do, they’ll use a drone to watch your every move, then kidnap you and keep you in a secret military prison. They call that one “indefinite detention.”

We now have free-speech zones; business and environmental regulations that should be the purview of the States or the people; corporate bailouts; and endless excuses for the lies, rules and failures. It’s never-ending. And, all the while, officials keep debasing the currency in the hopes that their house of cards continues to stand.

Ole King George would have salivated at this kind of power. But, today, some people seem to think that simply casting a vote every few years is all they need to do to advance the cause of the Constitution and your liberty.

They’re wrong.

Top Five

So what’s a good Tenther to do on Nov. 6?

Like my friend Steve Palmer wrote in a recent article, the No. 1 most important thing is not what happens on Nov. 6. What really matters is:

… what we do on 364 other days of the year. If we go back to sleep because we’re happy that the winner is wearing a red jersey or a blue one, we’re doomed to be exploited. If we stay vigilant and ensure that the use of force by government is limited to its Constitutionally legitimate role, then society will bring the blessings of prosperity to all of us.”

I’m not trying to talk you out of voting for one of the Presidential candidates — or even into voting for a different one. More than 90 percent of potential voters are already dead set on who they’re going to vote for — or against, most likely.

My goal here is to encourage you to do more. Since you’re already set on who you’ll be voting against, spending time reading, watching or complaining about any of the candidates is nothing more than a daily soap opera. You can certainly spend your time far more wisely — and help us all in support of the Constitution.

Here’s my list of the top-five things a good Tenther can do this election season.

5. Vote For Good State And Local Candidates

It seems like everyone forgets about the little guys. But these are the people who can change the world. Like the Constitutional structure that the Founders gave us, a revolution in thought and action isn’t a top-down proposal. It’s bottom up.

So check out your State and local campaigns and vote for people that support the Constitution and your liberty. There are some great ones out there, surprisingly enough. Here are a few examples:

Aaron Libby is running for re-election in the Maine State house. He’ll be introducing one of the strongest Obamacare nullification bills in the country.

John Logan Jones is also in Maine — and a strong challenger, too. He was well-positioned to run for Congress, but recognized the absolute need for State governments to take “an activist role in reasserting powers” stolen by the Feds.

My friend Anthony Rice is running for city council in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. And Mark Hopp is running for county commissioner in Alamance County, N.C. These are the kind of guys who will have absolutely no qualms pushing legislation to nullify the National Defense Authorization Act (like 16 communities around the country have already done) and just about anything else on a local level.

David Simpson is running for re-election to the Texas State house. He’s been leading the charge to nullify unConstitutional searches and seizures by the Transportation Security Administration.

Bernie DeCastro is running for sheriff in Marion County, Fla. And Ray Seidel is running for sheriff in Lincoln County, N.M. Both of these guys have been endorsed by Sheriff Richard Mack; and, if they win, they could establish some of the freest counties in the country.

Matt Shea is running for re-election to the Washington State house. He’s a relentless supporter of the Constitution and has worked on legislation to nullify NDAA and Obamacare and worked in support of sound money and more.

4.  Educate

Read. Learn. Share. As more people learn about Constitutional principles, the more good people will take action locally, where real change can be affected.

“Nullification: The Rightful Remedy” is a power-packed DVD that can introduce people to these issues in less than 90 minutes.

Our Last Hope: Rediscovering the Lost Path to Liberty is the essential guide to the Tenther movement. It’s the owner’s manual.

Liberty Classroom’s State Nullification: What is it? is a fantastic, free resource.

3.  Lobby Your State And Local Representatives

Hammer away at your local politicians. They usually get ignored; so when they start getting just a few calls to support a particular issue, they’ll start paying attention. Call the ones you know are your opposition, too. Sometimes, politicians are so slimy that they have absolutely zero principles. (OK, sometimes is too modest.) Those people will change with the wind. If you press them, you can make things happen.

The Tenth Amendment Center has model legislation ready for introduction in your area regarding the NDAA, Obamacare, drones, Constitutional tender, the TSA and more.

2.  Vote To Nullify

There are ballot initiatives in play around the country. You can vote to ban Federal or State insurance mandates in Montana. You can drive a truck through the unConstitutional drug war in Colorado, Oregon and Washington State. You can stand up for healthcare freedom in Florida, Alabama and more.

Check those referendums and vote “yes” on anything that defies Washington, D.C. Every crack in the armor will make us stronger.

1.  Organize

The most important thing you can do right now is organize. This really encompasses all the previous four, and will make every future effort even stronger. Educate people in your community. Build strong support networks for local candidates and referendum campaigns. Get teams of people together to lobby those already in office. And build strong campaigns and coalitions to nullify unConstitutional Federal acts.

You can use the Tenth Amendment Center’s Nullify Obamacare Organizer’s toolkit (pdf) to help you along. It’s a free, 17-page document filled with ideas and methods that work. And, no, you don’t have to focus only on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act; you can use these time-tested strategies on whatever issue is most important to you. You might even want to head up your own nullification campaign.

Truth

Bottom line? The time to act is now. Not next year or next fall. Not next month or next week. Today, not tomorrow. Right now.

If all you’re doing is voting, you’re not doing enough. Please start doing more. There. I said it.

While I know that statement will likely irritate some people, I firmly believe it to be the truth. And on truth, Thomas Jefferson couldn’t have been more right:

“It is error alone which needs the support of government. Truth can stand by itself.”

  • Capitalist at Birth

Silly conversation. A third party will never win any election outside of some rare local situation. Libertarians still have open borders in their platform Do you really think open borders will work? Look at the invasion going on right now as we speak. And these illegals are voting, now and have for quite some time.

    • http://liberty Tony

      To Capitalist at Birth:
The answer to your question is a big YES!! Immigrants are the backbone of our economy. They keep the wheels of industry rolling. Without them, our society would come to a grinding halt within 5-10 yrs. True, our nation has to weed out criminal types; however, in a modern econ. sense open borders are needed to bring in new ideas, innovations/inventions. Therefore, time to allow immigrants in. Also, our nation is based on open immgration. Thanks!!

      • 45caliber

        Tony:

First, you REALLY need to take a better look at the illegal immigrants coming in. They are not the backbone of the economy as you said. In fact, they take more out than they put in. That has been documented by everyone who isn’t liberal.

Second, name one new invention by an illegal immigrant in the last 25 years that means anything. I certainly can’t! Such things came from well-educated LEGAL immigrants – and the feds haven’t been allowing very many of them into the US for nearly a century now.

Quit getting your data from KOS or Huffington and actualy do a little study.

      • http://liberty Tony

        Alright 45Caliber:
What about the Doctors from India that are finding better treatments along with cures for Cancer and HIV? What about the Chinese engineers that are creating better rockets and other type of innovations for our transportation industry with outer space? I tell you what, your views will keep this nation back and allow nations in Asia with Africa, that’s right Africa to advance. You now need to reflect. Don’t believe the crud you see on Fax and Fiends/Fox and Friends or the garbage you read on Amren with Stormfront for it isn’t true. Farewell for now!!

      • Nadzieja Batki

They are worthless as doctors, they were worthless in their home countries and they are even more worthless here. How low do you want the standards lowered so anyone can be accommodated?

      • 45caliber

        Tony:

I said, “an invention by an ILLEGAL immigrant.” You are speaking about legal ones yet your comments were to lead us to think of illegal ones. As I said, the LEGAL ones who have good educations do a lot of good but few are allowed in. In fact, the last I heard there was about 100,000 legal educated ones allowed in each year vs. millions of non-educated ones who take us to the cleaners. You’ll have to do much better before you can convince me or anyone else who reads these comments.

    • DaveH

Crony Capitalist says — “Libertarians still have open borders in their platform”.
I’ve corrected him before on that, but still he insists on blurring the issue.
      From http://www.lp.org/platform
      “3.4 Free Trade and Migration
We support the removal of governmental impediments to free trade. Political freedom and escape from tyranny demand that individuals not be unreasonably constrained by government in the crossing of political boundaries. Economic freedom demands the unrestricted movement of human as well as financial capital across national borders. However, we support control over the entry into our country of foreign nationals who pose a credible threat to security, health or property”.

    To Bob Livingston;
I think I may be finally getting your drift, I hope. Many of us fear voting our conscience and voting for a third party, because it will lead to another four years of even worse Obamachinations. The truth is it could be just as bad or worse under the the other puppet of the two party system. Correct me if I’m wrong, but are you saying forget your fear or deal with it and vote your conscience because the only way to get to the other side (back to Constitutional ideals) is to have to go through the fire? The out come is not a sure thing and is very frightening! In any event, thanks for making me think, more.

    • DaveH

The only way to shrink government dramatically is to elect Politicians who want to shrink the government dramatically. The other kind, Obama or Romney, will definitely not shrink Government.

      • Sol of Texas

        DaveH —

I think you are right on this matter.

  • Dorian Douglas

    2 points.

1 The main article is wrong about “the lesser of 2 evils”. Unrestrained by not having to ever run for reelection, Obama has told us that he will govern unrestrained to collapse our government and our society. We will not be a Republic by 2016.

2 We will see what the make-up of congress is. But based on the revolution caused by the Tea Party in 2010, and the number of Tea Party in Congress, we have some built-in restraints for Romney to govern, even if he is not a true constitutionalist. And he WILL have to run for reelection in 4 years.

Will we get our country back completely in 4 years, even under Romney? Hey, it has taken us 80 years (many would argue even longer) to get to where we are, so we have a lot to do to erase the mistakes of the past. But we have one chance & one choice to make a start. And at least Romney will give us an economy to propel us onward & upward, while we rebuild our “constitutional compliance”.

    Dorian Douglas

    • JIMBO

Thank You Dorian and God Bless you.
Mitt Romney is a Counterfeit Conservative But because he is a
BRILLIANT Business-Man, he will help “US” fix AMERICA.
OBAMANATION, his ILLEGAL CZARS, CRIMINAL CABINET and OBAMACARE would take America from SOCIALISM to FASCISM which he has planned from DAY 1 !
      GOD BLESS AMERICA… AGAIN… SOON…

  • JIMBO

At age 5,Thomas Jefferson had more KNOWLEDGE & IQ than OBAMANATION has today.
OBAMANATIONs latest brain-storm is to have a ‘Secretary of Business’. Already with 432, Departments (was 56 in 2008) OBAMANATION will people tripping over each other on taxpayer money. On NOV.7th I picture OBAMANATION under his bed covers with a flash-light. On the bed headboard it says “LAME-DUCK SESSION COME TO ORDER”
OBAMANATION says ” I’ve got til JAN. 20th to keep destroying the AMERICAN DREAM,
and make it a EURO-GREECE Economy.

MITT ROMNEY has 3 more DEBATES !…
    God Bless America… AGAIN… SOON…

  • http://liberty Tony

TO Everyone: I know that i sound like a skipped, scratched old 33 rpm record. But, both candidates are pathetic. Also, it’s obvious the incumbent will be re-elected. The best bet is vote third party which i did last week in early voting. That was for Gary Johnson of course. Thus, that’s the step to take to go in the right direction.

  • MR. JOHN HENRY BLACKBURN (Citizen Liberty Patriot)

Representation through taxation and a lack of communications was the 2 driving forces behind our liberty from england rule and the designs of our constitution. It was written in all its glory by the same kind of guys that are subverting it today to gain control and reap the wealth of the lands and the toil of the people and when communications came, the need for representatives has fallen to the lowest of lows. Short of becoming a target for the ORDER, all I can say is that were I president, I could put this country back in the hands of the people with one feld swoop of a pen in “one” (1) presidential order that would stand the tests of the law of the land and supreme court and the constitution and give the government of this fine nation of citizens back to the citizen people. FACT: EVERY REPRESENTATIVE (For THE LAST 100 YEARS AND MORE) be it by casting thier votes for their (NOT) constituent majority vote… or by not acting to stop every vote that wasn’t 100% had in accordance with the constituency majorities … have violated thier oaths and are triable for treason and acts against we the people and hangable. THIS INCLUDES THE PRESIDENTS for signing any legistlation that was had by these means.
Now go home and figure out how to become a real constituent that demands the voice of the constituent majoity be had and get this country back in the hands of the people and the order of the constituent majorities and for those of you who do not like that idea deserve what you get !!!!

  • Seeker1212

All you ultra libertarians preach the same logic, although much of what you say is true, the way you present it. is what is very scary to the average citizen.
It’s not the party, whether you have a two, three, or four party system, it’s very likely there would be no change, because of the power that the elected person gets with the position.
Only when you make the elected official totally accountable to keep the promises of his/her platform, the reason that they were voted into office, and pass a law that the elected official, both local and federal can be removed by the people through special vote without waiting two to four years to remove that person can we see real change..

    • Steve Van Osdell

Scary? Really? What the Republicans and Democrats (both supportive of the corporate military industrial complex that Eisenhower warned us so specifically about) should be WAY MORE SCARY than us Libertarians. I really had to laugh at your comment.

    • http://www.facebook.com/michaelboldin Michael Boldin

you know the country is a mess when talking about the constitution and constitutional remedies – is “scary”

But like Jefferson said – truth.

    • http://www.facebook.com/marie.cullen.52 Marie Cullen

AMEN! This is what should be taking place. Hold them to the highest moral standards, make them answer for everything they do, and say. They need to know that there will be consequences to lying to the American people and we will not hesitate to throw them out! It is like dealing with small children, if allowed to behave without any consequences for their behavior they will run wild. Let’s get this started!

    • boyscout

Eventually we must eliminate the control of those who buy and sell influence and direct the propaganda even if we have to retrieve it from their cold dead hands.

  • NOWANDTHEN

    Thanks,I Will!!!

  • Steve Van Osdell

Remember, Obama AND Romney both 100% support section 1021 of the National Defense Authorization Act (oka, Indefinite Detention Act). AND OUR ELECTED CONGRESSMEN AND SENATORS VOTED TO PASS IT!!!

  • Carol

If you want power, dirty money and support of the wealthy, vote for Romney.

    • Sherylynne

Carol, I could not disagree with you more. I would suggest when assessing our current president it woud be prudent to pay more attention to his actions than his words. Power, dirty money and support of the wealthy” defines and describes Barack Obama’s actions. His words bait the uneducated, under-educated and poor. And, the abolition of the middle class has been his achievement.

      • Sol of Texas

        Sherylynne — Yup!

    • JC

Carol, crony capitalism has got to be stopped…but right now were focused on preserving the nation from the Kenyan Marxist. Why don’t you just sit this one out and let the Americans handle it? ;-)

  • Carol

Vote for Romney and Ryan if you want the ultimate money machine and associations with people with dirty money.
And what is the garbage about Communism? The extreme right, who will bring hate, fear, ignorance, and anti-science back.

    • tony newbill

Carol the Romney Ryan platform is to bring greatness and wealth Abundance to ALL in the world . And an educational Value that seeks to allow FREEDOM in choosing the sense to seek a sustainability in Live and Liberty with their daily Pursuit of happiness , not the TOP DOWN mandates of a Obama Centralized dominate controlling force that mandates you to succumb to their Ideologue or pay with your Loss of Liberty !!!!
Obamas MOTTO is , ” It will Trickle down from ME or it won’t trickle down at all ” !!!!

      • Steve Van Osdell

Tony Newbill – I wish you could hear yourself when you talk about Romney! I agree with you about Obama, no doubt. But, you make Romney sound like the ‘messiah’ just like the other side did Obama. You sound like a brainwashed communist extolling the virtues of Uncle Joe Stalin! Are you that dumbed down man? I’m shocked almost speechless!

      • tony newbill

Steve Common give a little thought to Romney having worked with a 87 % democratic Legislature when he was Governor and got the job done making state budgets balance and they want Obama care to be a state by state ran program that together with the right to cross state lines to seek the best priced Insurance will empower the Free market to self correct its manipulated and Subsidized position thats the farthest thing from FREE markets we have ever seen . But we been in this state of complacency for a very long time and the Manipulation of the MEDIA is why we are at this Point …. Have you ever heard of ” Operation Mockingbird ” ???? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Mockingbird

So you are defensive about communism because people believe it is a bad system of government. We have communism lite and full bodied across our borders, north and south. You don’t even have to cross any oceans to enjoy it. Don’t bring it back here to the US. It is not wanted.

The tenth amendment means nothing without the rest of the constitution.

For all of you who think the government should do nothing, then don’t drive on the interstate highways, don’t fly out of any municipal or city airports, don’t drink any water, and don’t breathe any air.

Thanks to “The People” or, the Government, we have all of these privileges to enjoy. And if you think a strong central Government was NOT the intention of the “founding fathers”, then why was the constitution written in the first place? I mean, if the Articles of Confederation worked, then why the need for the Constitution? You guys are full of [comment has been edited].

    • Steve Van Osdell

People ignorant of history (and who make up their own versions of it as they go and/or only know enough to be ‘dangerous) I find always have to resort to foul language – for lack of nothing more intelligent to say. A telltale sign for sure.

      • KG

Wow. You describe Bill O’Reiley perfectly.

      • Steve Van Osdell

To KG: Sorry, I turned OFF FoxNews and all the others about 4 years ago. Wouldn’t waste my time listening to any of them (save for maybe Judge Napolitano). I disconnected cable and don’t have satellite. if I watch TV, it is because I’ve playing a DVD movie or documentary or watching YOUTUBE by streaming. http://WWW.INFOWARS.COM for me! That is where you get the real truth – like it or not.

      • Nadzieja Batki

It appears that the Dems/Progs/Leftists spend more time watching and listening to Fox channel, to Glen Beck, to Rush, the Drudge, the Breitbart and all the Conservative talk shows like Savage and Prager and Medved and Shnitt and Boortz, etc., and sites like this just to hear and counter what is said. Desperation is making Dems/Progs/Leftists really worried.

    • http://www.facebook.com/michaelboldin Michael Boldin

It’s a logical fallacy to assume that because a group of people created a government stronger than the previous – that they’d also support government going beyond the limits created in that 2nd one.

    • DaveH

KG says — “For all of you who think the government should do nothing, then don’t drive on the interstate highways, don’t fly out of any municipal or city airports, don’t drink any water, and don’t breathe any air”.
Why not, KG? They stole our money, against the will of many of us, to create those things. Why in the world do you think we shouldn’t be able to use them?

    • momo

KG, constitutional scholar—not. This is the same clown that said communism was in the constitution.

  • Bob Davies

How about a flood of “THINK LIKE A TENTHER” bumper stickers. Many won’t know what that means, but it will start a few conversations. Who knows where that may lead? It’s fun as you learn how to get them thinking.

    • http://www.facebook.com/michaelboldin Michael Boldin

      not a bad idea…

  • Roger R. Fernandez

    Dear friends:
After a great deal of thought and prayer, I decided to write about something that has been bothering me for quite some time (beyond the stumbling economy) and that is going to be resolved once and for all satisfactorily, I hope, in the coming general election. To explain my uneasiness that has now become a real fear, I need to trace, as briefly and respectfully as possible, first the origin and then the development of my profound affection and admiration for this country and my present worry about its cloudy and, most importantly, endangered future.

In 1954 I first came to the United States of America from my native Spain, via Italy, to study at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. That was the opportunity I needed to realize a dream that I and many other students had, at an international Marist school in Grugliasco, near Turin, Italy, to come to study in this captivating country. As I wrote in my first book, Odyssey to Opportunity, the history of this unique country fascinated me and “I soon came to appreciate and admire the courage of its Forefathers who, braving untold suffering, showed unyielding faith and fervent yearning for liberty…” My mind would often go back to that historic moment when the Founding Fathers of the Republic “valiantly strove to reap the truly rich harvest of a nation that was to live in freedom”. Furthermore, “I thought that their true genius was to build for posterity a respectable and secure home for liberty… That remarkable period of achievement, I found it embodied in its people’s manners: helpfulness warmly tempered by goodness of heart; openness, jealously nurtured by a sense of fair play and resourcefulness, modestly fostered by simplicity”.

Such was the country of which I became very fond and which I had to abandon when my permit to study here expired upon my graduation from Marist College in 1958. After a three-year hiatus, I returned to the USA from Cuba where I had spent the previous six months working as a translator for Prensa Latina, alongside Gabriel Gacía Márquez when he was writing his Nobel Prize winning novel Cien años de soledad (One Hundred Years of Solitude).

My half-a-year stay in Havana became one of the most stressful and agonizing periods of my life, for the attacks and threats against the USA were constant, persistent and never-ending. Fidel Castro’s frequently and loudly professed objective was to bring his revolution to this, his most “despised” country, and to bury the capitalist system that this great nation had been leading. Seditious propaganda from Havana was being faithfully and methodically sent to most of the Colleges and Universities in the United States. It aimed to radicalize this country and derail its economic and political system by the end of the 60’s or beginning of the 70’s.

With great difficulty, very few material possessions and a visa that the American Consulate had issued for me in Durban, South Africa, I returned to New York on the 21st of November, 1960. After obtaining the Department of Immigration’s permit to work here legally (with the Declaration of Intention to become an American citizen) and to continue studying towards my Master’s and PhD degrees, I taught five years at Wantagh High School in New York and then moved to California to teach at Los Angeles City College, where I sadly experienced in 1967 the nefarious effects of the students revolt that was at the time plaguing this country.

I remembered, then, the 1960 radio appeal that the renowned Spanish Communist female leader Dolores Ibárruri (world known as “La Pasionaria”) broadcast from Czechoslovakia to all people in Cuba: “We have already achieved Revolution in Cuba. Now we must do the same in the United States of America. The liberal press will help us in the endeavor”. Remembering, furthermore, the Cuban seditious and incendiary propaganda that was flooding our Colleges and Universities, I thought that the “revolution” had indeed reached the United States.

Fortunately it did not succeed, but the struggle towards that end still continues to this day, for the forces that propelled that student rebellion continue yet very active in this country. William Davis Eaton accurately defines them when he writes in his book Liberal Betrayal of America and the Tea Party Firestorm: “The rebellion of the new liberalism, some now call it progressivism, began the 1960s riots against authority on hundreds of college campuses…” For his part, Glen Beck did expose, with well researched evidence on his Fox News television program, just last year, some of the activities and numerous verified left leaning links of those doleful forces, bent on dismantling the economic political system of this great nation.

In the 2008 presidential election, Barack Obama managed to infatuate millions of people into blindly voting for him, even though he lacked practical experience to govern and tolerating disposition to listen. Hiding his radicalism as well as his aversion for the principles that have made this country the envy of the world, he presented himself as centrist and proclaimed, later on, that his objective was to “fundamentally transform” the country. This means dismantling the system of freedoms, including freedom of religion and of expression, that our Forefathers built for us. Thus, he has governed ideologically from the radical left, subversive of the Constitution, instead of pragmatically from the center and respectful of it, as partly evidenced by his attacks on Catholic teachings and on conservative radio and television programs.

In addition, “to fundamentally transform” this country, Obama chose priorities that the majority of the people did not like, but that would consolidate the true program of his presidency to bring about the decline of the country: to usurp first, in order to redistribute later. So, his first priority was to create a privileged economic pact that would allow him to do whatever he wished, not with his money nor with private money, but with public funds. In other words “redistribution of wealth” as his domestic precedence, inspired from Saul Alinsky’s Marxist ideology and encouraged from the White House by Van Jones, a self-avowed communist “czar”, who was literally screaming “Give them the wealth! Give them the wealth!” Finally, Van Jones had to resign, but his plan of redistribution still lives on, even by extension, through Obamacare.

At a second level, Obama initiated the redistribution of power as a foreign strategy as he clearly insinuated in his speech at the General Assembly of the United Nations in September 2009 and openly showed in Libya’s latest rebellion “leading from behind”. He even promised to the then Russian president Dimitri Medvedev, at the Nuclear Security Summit last March, that he would be “more flexible” after the November election. This position does not establish a new initiative of leadership. It institutes rather a new strategy of contraction and timidity, which has left defenseless, for example, our Consulate at Benghazi, Libya, where our ambassador and three other American heroes were murdered, after the Administration refused to send them the help they requested to repel the terrorist attack.

It is evident, at least to me, that The United States needs a regenerating metamorphosis, a historical turnabout. It is also clear to me that this country has to decide between two diametrically opposing destinies: to recover the essence of a free and world inspiring country or to reinvigorate the evident despotism that has been gestating under Obama with his abusive “executive orders”, several of them considered unconstitutional. We now have the opportunity to reclaim a future, respectful of the Constitution and defender of the original principles and ideals of the Republic, as proposed by Mitt Romney, or continue Obama’s disastrous present idealized from his father’s anti colonial dreams and the Marxist aspirations from his mentor Saul Alinski.

On a very personal note, after fleeing a Communist tyranny during my youth, I feel that Obama is trying to push me back into it during my old age. I do not believe that the American people will allow this or any president to dismantle the system that the Founding Fathers bequeathed to this great and unique Republic. But I also feel that Romney and Ryan will regain that inheritance and return to our beloved land its historical greatness.

Roger, I’m a native born 63 year old American with ancestors back to the beginning of this country and my wife is, like you, also from a former communist country (Ukraine – former CCCP) and we can only say that we WISH that what you say was true about Romeny being our salvation. Sadly however, we both feel strongly that you are badly mistaken. See Bilderbergs, New World Order, NDAA indefinite detention (which Romney also said he supports!) to mention just a few things you need to learn about. You are never too old to learn.

      • tony newbill

We Know Obama is a Head strong Ideologue and Romney is Not a head Strong ideologue but one that will Listen to the Peoples Voice . Obama has Not lead with the voice of the majority AT ALL and thats a FACT !!!!

      • Jeff

You’re dreaming. Romney will listen to your voice if you can write a big enough check. The man is a human calculator. He’ll close an entire city, ship the jobs to China, then tell us how it all pencils out in the long run. Well, people live in the short run.

      • tony newbill

Jeff the Jobs here in the states will be the advancement of food production through alternative means and you will not get that from obama and his minions they don’t want food abundance they want Uncontrollable Food and energy inflation to drop us all right into their control when they crash for the final time the free markets that give us are freedom from the oppressive Government that ideologues like Obama and his minions want to Harness as the tool to ZERO growth in resource usage and population growth common JEFF they say this out of their own Mouths !!!!

      • Jeff

Just keep believing that nonsense. Remember, Glenn and Rush will always tell you the truth. Stay stupid all your life.

      • Steve Van Osdell

Tony, about Romney being the type who will ‘listen to the people’…. I hope for your sake you aren’t holding your breath on this one! You sound like a nice, idealistic, young, and NAIVE person!

      • tony newbill

Steve are you telling me to vote for obama or not vote at all , whats the logic here Sir ??

      • Steve Van Osdell

Tony, I’m telling you that there is ‘doodley squat’ difference between Romney and Obama. My wife voted for Romney while I voted for Gary Johnson (absentee). I told her she’d have to make her own mind up, and even though very difficult, she voted for Romney because being from communist country (former USSR) she sees Obama for what he really is. But, she realizes that Romney is also poison, just his poison isn’t quite as strong. I’m telling you that as long as people in this country continue to accept the corrupt 2 party system and where they are only given 2 choices, and where the ‘masses’ are strongly guided in those choices by the mainstream corporate controlled media, NOTHING is going to change much – maybe just slow down a hair. I can understand average people who don’t read and understand all the underlying workings of the New World Order feeling like they need to vote for Romney. Just don’t tell me how wonderful he is! That is like saying arsenic is good for me, but cyanide (Obama) will kill me. Arsenic will kill me too, just a little slower! I want to vote for something/someone who IS NOT poison at all, even if they can’t win THIS TIME!

      • tony newbill

Steve its funny Anderson Cooper is not at CNN and he can’t keep a job on his own ratings , I can’t get this to post so Google this phrase and it will come up with the Link, CNN’s Anderson Cooper activates ‘Operation Mockingbird’

      • tony newbill

Steve why I am pushing Romney is because we need to buy time and we won’t get to buy any time with Obama back in , his taxation pans that we don’t even see yet are going to fully collapse the free markets . Don’t you want to have just a little more time to try and find a path back ???

      • George E

        Steve,

We’re going to get either Obama or Romney as President in this election. Obviously, neither is perfect in any number of ways. However, I can see a definite difference in philosophies between these two men, a difference that may very well steer the country in the wrong direction, so I’ve voted for Romney to try to correct this problem. I am not diluted into thinking that Romney will suddenly transform the country into the Constitutionalist government that the founders originally visualized, but I do believe he can give us an opportunity to continue the struggle toward this goal. I’m convinced Obama wants to transform the country in a way that you won’t have that opportunity much longer.

      • tony newbill

George You are right , Obama even said the US Constitution is a Tired old rag that has never worked never will , so transformation is his Goal away from that and to the Dreams of his Fathers

      • Kate8

It would seem that the reality of the situation is that Obama and Romney represent the two greatest factions of those who are enslaving us: Obama is from the communist faction, allied closely with Russia/Putin and China.

Romney represents the NAZI faction, the European NWO/Rothschilds.

Granted, the lines are somewhat blurred on these psychopaths from our point of view. They all seek absolute power and nothing for us. No doubt they care little which one wins. Even though they have some infighting going on, I’m sure they plan to take care of one another.

Either way, we the people lose out on this one, as usual.

BTW, it also seems that the plan is to cause one series of disasters after another, so that the homeless survivors will be “cared for” in their local Camp FEMA. When the dust settles, those who survive CF will be relocated to newly built UN Agenda 21 controlled cities, fully chipped and assimilated into the Borg Matrix. (Note that these cities are already built and awaiting in China. It seems that the Chinese are well ahead of us.)

Romney won’t save us from this. He’s for it. Obama has declared himself fully behind with Agenda 21.

If this is not what we want for our children and grandchildren, we’d better come up with another plan.

        Has anyone seen this?

      Roger,

I enjoyed your post. Thanks for your thoughts. Please continue to contribute to this board.

There is one additional thought I think is worthy of mention here. If Obama gets re-elected he will likely appoint one or more justices to the Supreme Court, a body that is fairly well balanced right now, though more left than I’m comfortable with. No doubt he will appoint very liberal Justices who will never vote for anything other than socialist ideologies. This is the “gift” that will continue giving for at least the next 20 years, and will fundamentally transform the country. Unfortunately, there is no absolute guarantee that a President Romney won’t appoint Justices who are moderate or even liberal on some issues as some past Republican Presidents have done, but there can be no doubt that President Obama will appoint hard left Justices given the opportunity. I think we’ve got to take the opportunity to move the court center-right whenever we can to reflect our culture and the majority view of our people, and a President Romney is our only opportunity to do that at this time.

      • Steve Van Osdell

Yes, you are right I’m afraid. But imagine an election where we had a REAL choice – like day and night difference? If we don’t start looking to another party and other non-mainstream backed candidates then it will never happen. I voted Gary Johnson just to let the system know they need to be scared and that I had to guts to vote from someone the New World Order does not want to ever come to power!

      • DaveH

If you travel West, George, do you really have any hopes of ever reaching a destination North of you?
In 4 years it will be yet another Lesser of Two Evils choice as it has been for the 40 years of my voting age. When do you throw in the towel?

      • George E

        DaveH,

Good question. I’m definitely not ready to throw in the towel and give up to the socialists. That’s what “throwing in the towel” means to me.

If I were a Libertarian strategist, which I’m not, I’d have to take a view of the world much like the socialists have. They realized that they couldn’t win majority elections in this country on a 3rd party ticket, so they elected to get their candidates in office by running as Democrats. This has worked for them, and now one of the biggest socialist in the country has now become our President. If I really wanted to change the culture in this country to a Libertarian view, I’d take note that the Tea Party actually made a difference in recent elections by working through the Republican Party. This is the way Libertarians should do it as well, I think. You will get your candidates in office quicker than running as 3rd party candidates, and actually have an impact on Republican Party politics. But handing elections over to the socialists because you can’t get your 3rd party candidates elected is just not a good practical long-term approach to obtaining your goals, I don’t think.

      • DaveH

How has that working within the Republican Party worked for you, George? Has Government gotten any smaller?
How in the world would you think the Republicans would take us away from Socialism when their Party was founded in the mid-1800s on the concepts of Mercantilism (Crony Capitalism)? And when their party started the Progressive Movement with Theodore Roosevelt? If you paid any attention at all, you saw the way they swept Ron Paul under the rug at the convention. To think that you can change the Republican Party from within, is some mighty powerful wishin’ and hopin’.

      • George E

        DaveH,

It’s tough, but the best shot you’ve got, I think. The Tea Party is making a difference working within the Republican Party.

      • http://smoovious.wordpress.com Smoovious Laxness

        > The Tea Party is making a difference working within the Republican Party.

based on what metric, do you believe this?
(not trying to be condescending, an honest question. I hear people say this kind of thing all the time, but I just don’t see it.)

        – Smoov

      • George E

        Smoovious,

I don’t know of any metrics on this, so I’m obviously giving you my opinion. I base this opinion on the following: 1) a number of Tea Party candidates won Republican primaries against “establishment” Republican candidates, 2) several Tea Party candidates won elections when they weren’t expected to by the “experts”, and 3) Tea Party Congressmen/women often drove agenda items in the House of Representatives to the chagrin of many establishment Republicans, Democrats including the Obama administration, and main stream media. This was pretty good since the Tea Party is a “people’s grassroots movement” which was endlessly attacked with unfounded allegations by all of the above as being an extreme right-wing racist organization.

      • JeffH

George E, it’s an overstatement to say that the Tea Party has anything to do with the politics in the Senate or Congress. I’d have to say they’ve been relatively successful at supporting candidates. It’s a slow process trying to find real Constitutional candidates and even though the Tea Party movement has had some success endorsing and supporting certain candidates through the election process…it’s not magic that candidates suddenly declare themselves to be conservative…That became the theme for most candidates before the 2010 mid-terms despite the majority of them are nothing more than neo-cons. Remember that the Tea Party movement is a movement of human beings and humans are not infallable.

The’re patriot that do love their country though but do not trust our government…that’s the lind of common ground I share with the Tea Party and that’s why I am in support of the movement.

      • http://personallibertydigest wyatt48

Justices need to start rule by law only. There should be no legislation from the bench. That is not what the justices are elected to do. They are to settle disputes within the law. Not make new rulings by precident or try to influence laws.

    • Jeff

You conveniently leave out the most important aspect of the student revolt of the 60s you so despised. (I take it you were a devotee of Franco.) It was the Viet Nam War. Were students just supposed to go quietly to their deaths in Viet Nam. Maybe that’s how it was done in your Fascist Spain, but here, not so much. If you want to equate that with Stalin, I just want to know what the HELL you could have a Ph.D. in.

      • DaveH

The Vietnam War as produced by the Neocon Progressives, the other side of the Progressive coin. What do the Neocon Progressives and the Liberal Progressives have in common? They both advocate Big Government and they share many of the same Crony Capitalists.

      • George E

I’d make a couple distinctions between the Progressives and Neo-Cons regarding the Vietnam War. First, while both Eisenhower and Kennedy had military advisors in Vietnam, it was really LBJ that got this country into that war in a big way, and did a very poor job of conducting the war in a way that would end it in our favor. He did not run for re-election because the war was so unpopular by the end of his first elected term. Nixon got us out of the war, but wanted to leave as victors, not losers. Militarily speaking, he did that. It was the Democrats, primarily, in Congress that cut off support to the South Vietnamese government after our military left that played a principle role in causing that government to fall to the Communists. Of course, Nixon’s own political screw-ups didn’t help either.

The Vietnam War was a terrible event for this country in many ways. History may decide that we shouldn’t have gotten involved in it the way we did. However, I don’t think that final chapter has been written yet, at least in my mind. There are still too many strong personal feelings about the war to be completely objective about it. Nevertheless, I do think it is pretty clear that while people and politicians of both major political parties supported much of the war, especially early on, it is true that LBJ and his administration took the lead in getting us deeply involved in the war almost to the point of no return, and it was the Democrats who took the lead in “throwing in the towel” when it became clear it wasn’t going to be a quick and easy war to win. We definitely shouldn’t go to war when it’s not necessary, but when we do go to war, we should fight to win, not give up when the going gets tough. I think the Democrats probably violated both of these rules in Vietnam.

      • DaveH

You do know, George, that there are Neocon Progressives in both parties, don’t you?

      • George E

        Yes.

    • Sol of Texas

Roger — This is a well written comment. I wish other posters were so articulate in written form.

Though I don’t think Romney will be the savior, he has a chance to lead the country in a better direction. I hope he and the next Congress will.

I support the liberty Republicans (not the social- or neo-conservatives as I consider them authoritarians and ant-liberty). I am appalled at the way many pro-Romney supporters have lied and misrepresented Libertarians. The mindless pro-Romney and Santorum supporters have driven me into the Gary Johnson (liberty Republican) camp by their bullying and despicable bleating throughout the 2012 campaign.

I hope we can unite for a better America after the election is concluded.

      • Roger R. Fernandez

Thanks a lot for your constructive comment. I do share some libertarian ideals and not necessarily nor exclusively all the positions of the Republican Party. (I campaigned and voted for Bob Kennedy in the California primary, June 1968…). But, it is important that we unite to stop and reverse the direction this country is going at the present time, away from the virtues, ideals and principles on which it was founded. For now, the only way to go back to our origin is to elect Romeny and Ryan. If you want to read my books in English, yahoo or google me, writing my name this way only. Roger R. Fernandez

Mr Fernandez, i could have said the same thing but not as eloquently as you. Nevertheless, i can assure you that the same spirit and love for this Country is still alive and well just as in 1776. The American people have become lazy and complacent. But if push comes to shove…we will prevail! We always have! Same thing as Yamamto said after the attack on “Pearl”. I think we have awoken a sleeping giant!

  • NOWANDTHEN

When people in this country has had enough, you better believe they will do something about it!!!This country has been on a down hill fall ever since LBJ,then of course after him came RMN(a double hit right in a row)So your not telling me something I don’t already know!!I But I will tell you something that you may not know,I’m sure the hell not going to vote for a third party(as I would like to do)and give obama another 4 years!!!Thanks but no thinks!!!!

    • Jeff

State’s rights! Always and still the battle cry of the wannabe oppressor. Environmental regulation at the state level? That’s a joke. Air and rivers do not respect arbitrary borderlines. Weakening the federal government has one aim – the empowerment of big business. Nature abhors a vacuum. If we, in the form of government, don’t make the rules, they’ll be made by the Exxons of the world. And they won’t respect the 10th amendment either.

      • tony newbill

JEFF don’t Let the Power and Independence be consolidated into a Central Power like the Federal Government , what are you doing man , are you wanting to reduce the US Flag down to a ONE STAR FLAG ??? REPORT the TRUTH about what the Bureaucrat , Technocratic and Political Ideologues are screwing up and planning, and why BIG GOVERNMENT like the FOUNDERS WARNED us Against is Now Threatening the Liberties and God Given right to Life and the Pursuit of happiness is under siege by the very Ideologues we were warned would be coming , over and over and over again , its Our time to realize this and deal with it , and Vote these people out of Power !!!!!

My wife (very happily married for 12 years) is from Ukraine (former Soviet Union). I traveled there in 2007 for the 75th anniversary of the ‘Great Starvation’ which happened under Stalin in 1932. My wife is of the strong opinion that all you folks who want to live under a centralized all-powerful federal government should have had to live under Stalin back when. Then you would change your ‘tune’. She also sees mainstream media here as no different from the government controlled ‘Pravda’ and ‘TAS’ back in the day of the CCCP (USSR). I see a lot of voices here (shockingly so) who I believe would have been cheering Caesar when he crossed the Rubicon and brought his legions into Rome! Oh, how true it is that ‘those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it!’.

      • eddie47d

Absolutely true Jeff. What short memories some have in the terrible destruction some big businesses had on America. They became wealthy by ruining other important aspects of our lives. Then the taxpayer had to come in and clean up after them and I don’t believe most Americans want to return to those days. Maybe someday we’ll find a decent balance.

      • boyscout

You do have a point Jeff. I am not in favor of eliminating Federal government, just reining it in, restoring checks and ballances (and thereby the Bill of Rights) and keeping them out of my back yard and bedroom.

      • DaveH

So many ignorant statements by Jeff, but you gotta love this one — “Weakening the federal government has one aim – the empowerment of big business”.

      • 45caliber

        Jeff:

Finally, a liberal who realizes pollution crosses boundaries! We have several Congressmen who are convinced that if they shut down all industry in the US it will keep our people safe. When pointed out to one of them that the companies would simply move to another country and build there (getting rid of all our jobs) the Congressman replied that at least the people wouldn’t get any pollution because it wouldn’t cross the border into our country.

The real problem is the level of pollution. Texas has a decent environmental agency. But the EPA tried to set up car standards for pollution that even NEW cars couldn’t meet. The only way you could drive is if you bought a new car (they were exempt from the standards for two years) or if you were on welfare (those cars did not have to be inspected). Many of the standards are ridiculous. For instance, it is okay to have an area contaminated with 30,000 ppm of lead since it was next to a highway intersection that the government would have to clean up while a 3 ppm level was too high if it was on private land. Explain that one.

      • 45caliber

        Steve Van:

You are right about the history and the Soviet Union! Every preson who insists that socialism is the way to go should have to live in Cuba (as an example) for 5 years. History has so many errors in it (at government requirements) that it is almost useless in high school. What REALLY happened has been one of my hobbies for many years. A local high school girl realized that one of the things in her history book was wrong and brought it to the teacher’s attention; she was told by the teacher that “this is the way the government wants you to learn it so you better learn it this way. And it WILL be on the test!”

I would urge everyone to make a study of history – to find out what happened so we don’t repeat the errors made. I’ve said many times that any time you hear a politician say “Look to the future!” that he’s trying to insure you don’t realize he’s making the same mistake others have made before – and it didn’t work then either.

    • John

What is the matter? You didn’t like tricky Dick Nixon’s secret plan to end the Viet Nam war? Or were you just upset that he created five new federal bureaucracies? Of course, it might have been that funny business about gold, or maybe it was the wage and price controls, or the first gas lines, or the fact that his actions created the libertarian party? There is just so much! He might even be considered the father of voting for the lesser of two evils.

  • Steve Van Osdell

Voting for the lesser of two evils…. the greater evil you vote against this election will quickly become the lesser evil you will find yourself having to vote FOR in the next election. (quote by Stephen Van Osdell – ME!) By definition, this approach creates a downward self-fulfilling spiral into the abyss. I believe that if Jesus Christ was running as a 3rd party, my friends would be criticizing me for voting for him because ‘a vote for anyone else but Romney is a vote for Obama’! They don’t understand what voting your conscience means.

    • New John

As you must kow by now the method of what was written down all those years ago by a few real men. ( Was ~ back then we elected “ADVOCATES” ~ to be our voice as in we the people,) ~ who elected our Congress persons, as well that each states Governors appointed each states Senate persons.

Now what we have are “LAW MAKERS” ~ as they feel we are just to stupid to know whats good for us.

As well as I noted above, the issue is ~~”CENTARLIZATION” ~~ of POWER.

That Completes the circle, ~ to take away your Rights granted under the Bill of Rights as well makes the Constitution ~ Null & Void. Oddly ~ By your own Consent, due to the same protocol used every TIME, ~~ Create an problem,~~ have event, ~~ have solution in hand, then have the people BEG for that very Solution. .

Look ~ what all of you need to understand is this: There are two sides of LIGHT, there is Good and there is EVIL, ~ both see things from a differant point of view based on the lights used by each.

Thus if your a ” BENEVOLENT” person you see positive light,
Yet if your a “Malicious” person you also see a light but its different.

Thus ~ both have a like balance, ~ just a totaly different ~ platform..

Peace and Love be with you. Got your bus tickets yet?

No, Time, that is not the way it is. You can do more damage to a people when people perceive that they are being done good. They won’t question the motives as to why someone wants to do them “good”.

nc….how stupid can you possibly be?
the TSA has NEVER caught ANYONE that was a threat of ANY kind
What they are in place to do is humiliate Americans….veterans, old ladies in wheel chairs, little children….you know! Like the Brown Shirt NAZI’s they really are.

Very, very , very well said. (And this from a guy who thinks the word “very” should be removed from our language. ;-)

    • http://www.facebook.com/michaelboldin Michael Boldin

Hopefully….many. Many already are, which is why there’s already a tenther movement happening around the country, but it’s going to take more to make it successful in the long run

      • DaveH

        Great article, Michael.

      • GALT

Actually sir, Mr. Boldin, your article was a piece of recycled garbage, which could only appeal to the “functionally illiterate”…….

        Confused?

You use your set up to establish that the government is ignoring the constitution, they ignore lawful money, limits on declaring war, and just about anything they want that is inconvenient……..

But you in your wisdom are involved with a movement that believes that an amendment
is going to make a difference………how’s that working out for ya buddy???????

Idiots leading idiots……I guess the leader’s are getting paid…..looks like you are getting
paid……….so how does this work…….just keep babbling as long as the money comes in?

It’s not like the government cares,,,,,,,you are just another fool distracting the public from the TRUTH……………better yet, be an excellent idea if they let everyone believe you actually represented a threat………sound familiar?

Does that improve sales? or donations?

Enjoy buddy……while you can……remember though, in most cases the TRUTH doesn’t pay well………

I don’t watch a lot of mainstream t.v., so I hadn’t heard about the 43 trillion dollar lawsuit and tragedy of Kevin Krim, @ CNBC until I read TIME’S post above:

      TIME says:
October 30, 2012 at 8:33 am Dear Elenag,

“Please also note again I bring up the $43 TRILLION DOLLAR LAWSUIT that has been filed against these Globlist Criminals who make Madoff look like a baby.
Also ~ Again the { Children } of the CNBC Exc that reported on this lawsuit, were killed by being stabbed to death, ~ now so you get what we are dealing with his children were ages 2, and 6 and they were “”stabbed multiple times.””

I don’t know if anyone has seen the following:

      http://vnnforum.com/showthread.php?t=147459

      .

  • GALT

    Broken
That’s no understatement, either. Pick a clause of the Constitution, and it has likely been violated to the point of nonexistence. Read through the Bill of Rights and you’ll see how few of those essential liberties are truly in place today.

Since this is an endless message why is it that the people who repeat it never seem to
have an explanation of any kind as to how any this was possible……..a simple direct
explanation……that explains how “what exists” came to be……….

Where are the common law and equity courts?

The answer to that question is all you need to know…….because knowing it and
acting on it, is all that is required……..no voting, no campaigning, no protesting, no
complaining, no guns or bullets………you do not need to understand or believe the
back story……….you need only take the simple steps outlined……

Like the magic of a country western song played backwards……..the constitution and all
your rights are once again available to YOU……then you show two people…..etc, etc, etc.

Knowledge and a pen are the only weapons required for this ‘revolution”……

      Dear Galt,

      Thank you my friend.

Peace and Love be with you my friend, Please get a bus ticket,

Agreed. Great post. But what happens when the knowledge that the pen writes has no affect on the modified automatons? Someone said that all it would take is a 1 1/2 generations to change a country. Well public ed has had more than that. And I think we have been experiencing the results of their Pavlovian training.

      • TIME

        Dear Elenag,

Wow ~ Now thats a good question, I think you know the answer as its written within the confines of the very Doucment we hold as the Root of this nation. { BTW }a doucment that was based on the {Native American tribes} method of governing.
~~Thats also why the 2nd Amendment was written, ~ as it was sure not for hunting chickens.~
As we all have been told by the CRIMINALS in the City State of DC.

Please also note again I bring up the $43 TRILLION DOLLAR LAWSUIT that has been filed against these Globlist Criminals who make Madoff look like a baby.
Also ~ Again the { Children } of the CNBC Exc that reported on this lawsuit, were killed by being stabbed to death, ~ now so you get what we are dealing with his children were ages 2, and 6 and they were “”stabbed multiple times.”"

We are all going to loose a lot, and you all have to be ready for stepping back in TIME, as in after we clean up the MONEY issue, it will be back to making $5K per year on the high end. But at least it will be {real wealth} and not this Hyper inflated worthless paper.
Of what ~ again to buy a single OZ of silver takes $39.00 paper dollars, and thats as of today,~~ after a few more rounds of QE 3 that number will be more in line with $250.00.

Peace and Love be with you. Got your bus tiucket yet?

      • GALT

Well if people are stupid, they at least understand “money” and for the common man
this is exactly what the pay off is…….no more fees, fines, or taxes…..no more being subjected to stupid laws that seek to punish you, when no harm or damage is caused…..

Whether it is greed or desperation the result is the same and the learning process an
education in itself……..because getting the Constitution back is only the first step, once
that has been done, we are faced with the daunting task of having to re-argue it all over again………and the process of fighting back will also prepare people for this task…….

      • Jeff

Is it purely coincidence that the word “money” is contained in the name Romney?

      • George E

You know the Democrats are feeling desperate when they have to resort to issues like that.

      • Jeff

Lighten up, George. It was a joke and I don’t think we have any swing voters here. Plus, I don’t speak for anyone but me. But speaking of desperation, what did you think of Romney’s totally dishonest Chrysler ad? I know, you probably loved it, but most sane people find it to be typical of Romney (i.e. “pants on fire”).

      • GALT

Unfortunately, that is not even a relevant comment, let along a good one……anymore

that is seemingly off…..as your “privileges, benefits and immunities” are whittled…..all

        of ME TOO……….

      • DaveH

As I’ve said before, Galt, I have no fear of you convincing people with your grammatically poorly written and disjointed comments. So I feel no dire need to bother with your comments.

      • GALT

Actually you can’t respond intelligently because you have never bothered to READ the information provided……or you wouldn’t have posted that link as an interesting comment….when it was irrelevant.

So since you are not going to do anything to help yourself and you are not
concerned that others may listen and do something to help themselves ( which has
got be the stupidest self contradictory position ever held by a human being ) why
        is it that…….

You keep responding saying that it doesn’t matter and that you can’t be bothered to
        respond?

It is amazing the sheer number of idiots that waste time repeating that very same line…over, and over and over…….

      • DaveH

Galt tries his adolescent manipulative techniques once again, as usual. You’re boring Galt.

      • GALT

Yes DavidH, for those of childish intellect, FACTS would be quite boring, after all living

      • Jeff

Ohio is adding manufacturing jobs. The Chrysler plant Romney has been lying about is adding jobs. What would you have Obama do – start a business and employ people himself? You say government can’t do anything, then you blame Obama for not doing anything. It can’t be both ways. Meanwhile, look what Romney (he;’s the major investor) is doing in Freeport, Illinois with the Sensata factory. The whole plant is closing and all the jobs are going to China. If he really wants to fight for American manufacturing jobs, wouldn’t this be a good place to start? With a personal commitment that might cost him a huge windfall profit? But then he wouldn’t be Romney, would he?

      • tony newbill

Jeff You just took a Crap all over Obama by saying he has nothing to do with the Jobs in Ohio and hes AWOL on the Jobs leaving for China , looks like you are starting to see the Light , I knew you would the longer we debated ……

I think Yes because the Money being controlled by a federal Government thats too ideologically perverted to be Preemptively focused on states needs and tries to centralize the relief efforts causes bottle necks in distribution efforts . States being in more control would spread the resources out and better access faster would be a better result . All you need to do to see a Example of the Use of money and resources by Ideological Federal Officials is in this Video …. ht tp ://hotair.com/archives/2012/10/25/obama-on-leno-these-banks-are-profit-seekers-which-is-precisely-why-we-need-to-regulate-them/

    • John

I’ll tell you how we got here. The Warburgs came here at the turn of the 20th century and elected a president named Woodrow Wilson. He created a central bank which allowed foreigners to control our currency. He also created income tax and abolished tariffs on imported goods coming into the USA. As if all that wasn’t bad enough, Teddy Kennedy came along and changed immigration policy to let any scum sucking pig that wanted to come here come here. Very breifly, that is why we are no longer a constitutional Republic.

  • Dennis48e

“It seems like everyone forgets about the little guys. But these are the people who can change the world. Like the Constitutional structure that the Founders gave us, a revolution in thought and action isn’t a top-down proposal. It’s bottom up.”

DaveH take note. That thought has been pointed out to you several times but yet you still insist on working from the top down.

    • danny

A word for Michael Boldin, He sounds like another Ron Paul supporter that is such a sore loser. He wants to water down the Exstreem importance for Mitt Romney To win The Whitehouse. And he is also missing the point of this Election is to win both the Senate and Congress. This Nation is made up of “WE THE PEOPLE” and we the people don’t need some “loser”, like the one who wrote this article telling us it is too late. Get out there and Vote Conservative Republican, and Demand you Representatives vote as they were voted in to do. And God Bless America.

      • rb

“…a revolution in thought and action isn’t a top-down proposal. It’s bottom up.” Guess you forgot to read that part.

      • Steve Van Osdell

You either ‘get it’ or you don’t. All I can do is toss the seeds. I have no control over whether they land on fertile soil or hard rock! And just where, exactly, has following your strategy gotten us? Talk about the definition of insanity? i.e. doing the same thing over and over again (every 4 years) and voting for one of the racehorses owned by the ‘mafia’ (aka New World Order Bankers) and expecting a different and glorious outcome. I say NO THANKS to that. Besides, there isn’t an ounce of difference between Romney and Obama anyway – only a little in their rhetoric! As I told my mother – anyone who votes their true beliefs and conscience, even if for a 3rd party which won’t win (this time!), is NOT throwing their vote away. But, people who run out under the control and influence of the 2 mainstream parties and vote for what they perceive as the ‘good cop’ in a ‘good cop/bad cop’ set up staged scenario… THOSE are the people who are truly throwing their vote away! Maybe if Obama were to be re-elected, more people would WAKE THE HECK UP, whereas with Romeny, everyone goes back to sleep and tune back in to favorite sports and reality TV shows.

      • Warrior

I’ll break it down to simpler terms. Don’t vote for a single demonrat and everyone else is fair game.

      • Steve Van Osdell

Danny, do you really keep up with geopolitics or just crawl out from in front of the boob tube only every 4 years? I realize that I agree with you more than a Democrat, but as a former Republican (now a Libertarian), I have to wonder how much you really know. I think you need a good dose of Alex Jones at infowars.com. About a month of learning from Alex should flush out all that ales you, and get you some real knowledge in the process. I would also suggest that you re-familiarize yourself with the definition of insanity – because dumbed down Americans display this every 4 years when they go out and vote and are convinced that either a Democrat or Republican (depending on your persuasion) is doing to miraculously save the country and turn it around. I got news for you – with EITHER of them – AIN’T GONNA HAPPEN. If the mafia owns all the horses at the race, don’t you think they laugh at you behind your back when you and a friend go to the races and try to decide which horse to bet on? They don’t care which one you bet on because they own all of them!!! Wake up man, and stop being a mouthpiece for one of the corrupt to the core main parties!

      • JC

danny, I am confounded as to how you managed to put “Conservative” and “Republican” into the same sentence. The Republican party is about 2 degrees right of the Democrats. They’re all about massive government incursions into our lives, same as the left.
They’re all about massive “security” measures that don’t do a thing for security, but do take away even more of our rights. I already voted for Romney as being the lesser of two disgusting weasels that don’t give a damn about America or Americans…but I have to wonder….what if the Kenyan low life won again….would it help bring about the massive anti-government movement this country so desperately needs?

      • http://www.facebook.com/doris.carman Doris Carman

You can demand the two houses vote your way all you want, but they dont do it. They were going to impeach obama? not. they were going to get rid of Geitner and Holder? not. They are in it for the pensions.

      • DaveH

Michael is right, danny. I’ve witnessed the same events election after election for 40 years now. And no matter how many times the result has been Bigger Government (every time), still the blindered sheeple keep trying the Lesser of Two Evils paradigm.

      • http://www.facebook.com/michaelboldin Michael Boldin

You certainly don’t have to listen to my advice. For many, the Constitution is quite extreme. But I’ll take Jefferson and Madison over those who hate their work any day.

      • John

What good does it do to vote for another anti-constitutionalist because he is a Republican? Actions speak louder than words. Mitt Romney was for gun control before he was against it. He created Obamacare in taxachussets. It isn’t sour grapes, it is just that some of us are principled and have a backbone.

      • Ann Wilson Kingsley

@danny: No one is a sore loser. This isn’t a soccer match or a football game where the stakes are low and Rah! Rah! works to help the outcome. Both mainstream candidates are Socialist, and both report to the same New World Order Globalist sponsors who paid for their advertising. I love Boldin’s article, but there is one thing with which I disagree: It is not the Federal Government control that we have as a problem so much as it is Federal Government control by corporations. Corporations are the new feudal system. The same monarchies and aristocrats are in control of the corporations that controlled the feudal system, and now they are allied with wealthy industrialists. The Middle Class is headed for slavery as serfs, dependent on large corporations for a meager living. The Tea Party needs to get ALEC banned, the Republican organization where lawmakers, lobbyists, and corporations meet to craft our laws. The Tea Party also needs to step on any proposed law that allows corporations to have an advantage over the Middle Class. The problem in our country isn’t poverty, but upholding and maintaining the Middle Class, so poverty does not develop. The monarchies and aristocrats do not like the Middle Class because they are a pesky nuisance. What we are finding is that the Middle Class is very easily manipulated. The Middle Class is always very busy,, and they do not take the time to research issues. Too many of them are just looking for a hero to pin their hopes on. The Middle Class must start looking under the hood to examine everything they hear because they are being duped over and over again by both Republicans and Democrats. If a voter starts from the premise that everything he hears is a lie, which means every issue needs investigation then we will have an educated Middle Class.

      • BR549

No, Danny, Boldin isn’t a sore loser. He’s a realist. Right now, we don’t have any MAJOR candidates who aren’t in the globalists’ back pockets. For over 100 years, this country has been plagued with a disease brought on by parasites like the Rockefellers and their socially dysfunctional banking maggots (or is that magnates?). They’ve managed to convince everyone that life is all about money and not about our social relationships. They would have us believe that our prime connection should be with our bank as opposed to our friends, families, and neighbors, and rather than everyone join in for an Amish style barn-raising, these people would have us believe that owing money to a bank does more for our independence than appreciating our neighbors for helping raise the barn. They’ve twisted our value system upside down with THEM, coincidentally, always being at the deep end of the feeding trough.

Boldin may be correct about Stein and Johnson, sadly. In the 2008 election, I contacted all of the realistic third party offices and suggested that the only way any one of them was going to win was if they ALL threw their supporters in support of ONE single candidate. As much as pride and egos can’t let some things go, if these people can’t do this for Team US, we ALL lose. Nader, Paul, Barr, McKinney (she’s sharp, BTW), Baldwin, Gravel, and at the time Kucinich; all of these people SHOULD have been willing to bow down and put their country first. Instead, they bowed out and left the voters out in the cold.

In this election, I’m not hearing anything different. I’m not hearing that all the candidates were willing to support Jill Stein, Johnson, Anderson or whomever. Out of all the other candidates, I may lean toward Johnson, but what good is it if we, as third party supporters, are all still willing to follow our leader to voter oblivion because we picked yet another loser. Instead, these potential “leaders” SHOULD be helping to decide which among them should be the standard bearer for us all so that we can all put our eggs in the same basket and not risk losing our brethren on the wings of the undecided to voting for the lesser of two evils ……. again.

Actually danny, Romney is Obama and will continue his illegal policies. I can list 47 of them here AGAIN if you need them; here is just a few from the list:
Neither candidate supports immediately balancing the federal budget or paying it down.
They both believe in big government.
They both have a track record of being big spenders while in office.
Romney supported/supports Obama’s “economic stimulus” packages.
        Both support TARP.
Neither candidate wants to eliminate the income tax or the IRS.
They both want to keep personal income tax rates at the exact same levels for the vast majority of Americans.
Both are “open” to the idea of imposing a Value Added Tax on the American people.
Both believe that the TSA is doing a great job.
Both support the NDAA – indefinite detention with no crime committed, pre crime arrests, etc.
Both of them supported the renewal of the USA PATRIOT Act.
Both candidates believe that the federal government should be able to indefinitely detain American citizens.
Both candidates believe that American citizens that they SUSPECT MIGHT being terrorists can be killed by the president without a trial.
Obama has not closed Guantanamo Bay like he promised to do, and Romney actually wants to double the number of prisoners held there.
Both candidates support the practice of “extraordinary rendition”.
They both ship jobs out of the country.
They outsource jobs here inside the USA to foreign nations – repairing our roads, bridges, building cars, etc becasue no o ne in America can do those things.

Okay, more then a few. But definately NOT the complete list.
Another important one is they both support Agenda 21 which takes away any property or business, or cars, etc away from us. We will no longer be ALLOWED to own property, cars, a business, etc (Look up Alabama’s Senate Bill (SB) 477 which bans it in that state).

        Ann Wilson:

You need to do some study. It is no more the corporations that control government than it is some minority group. A few of the real leaders get their money from corporations but very few actually work or have ever worked. Corporations are made up of workers.

Basically you can call the real leaders of both the Demos and the GOP whatever you like – One Worlders, intellectual elite, etc. – but they are simply people who are convinced that because they have inherited their money and have made more by investing that they are smarter than everyone else and therefore deserve to tell everyone else how to live. And, since it also insures that no one ever puts them at risk of losing their money, if they help themselves at the same time it is only fair. After all, they are better than the rest of us and deserve to have the perks none of us should have.

My response to Danny was obviously in regard to candidate donations. You need to do your reading, Globalism is about corporate control.

      • SamFox

So Danny, where is the ‘conservative Republican’ you have in mind? Since it’s not possible to accurately call Mitt ‘conservative’, who’d ya have in mind?

Ron Paul, who many foolish un-researched sheep like to trash, was the only true major ‘party’ candidate who was running who actually IS a fiscal conservative. Ron would have come with a marvelous bonus; Ron is also a Constitution advocate who would follow our Founder’s advice.

As far as “another Ron Paul supporter”.

I can tell from your comment tht you do not know that our government is a Constitutional Republic and what that entails. We owe our allegiance to that document, not anyone who is temporarily occupying positons to do the duties the Constitution assigned that branch. That is all they are Temporary help. Are they illegally taking powers not assigned to them. Sure. Because it is up to the ones who made the states, which created the Constitution, which defined what the federal government can do, broke it into three branches, reitereated our natural rights that they are forbidden to ever mess with … This knkowledge that ALL American citizens are supposed to have is why education was dumbed down. Here, something that might help you to understand, the emphasis is mine:

“God provided that in this land of liberty, OUR POLITICAL ALLEGIANCE SHALL RUN NOT TO INDIVIDUALS, that is, to government officials, no matter how great or how small they may be. Under His plan OUR ALLEGIANCE AND THE ONLY ALLEGIANCE WE OWE AS CITIZENS or denizens OF THE UNITED STATES, RUNS TO OUR INSPIRED CONSTITUTION which God himself set up. So runs the oath of office of those who participate in government. A certain loyalty we do owe to the office which a man holds, but even here we owe just by reason of our citizenship, no loyalty to the man himself. In other countries it is to the individual that allegiance runs. THIS PRINCIPLE OF ALLEGIANCE TO THE CONSTITUTION IS BASIC TO OUR FREEDOM. It is one of the great principles that distinguishes this “land of liberty” from other countries”. J. Reuben Clark

Think of it this way: the Constitution assigns duties to those who serve within the three branches of our government. A US President is assigned the duty of enforcing the legal laws of our nation (legal laws MUST follow the US Constitution or are illegal, and can only be enforced by thsoe who do not understand their Oath, or are willing to obey orders without question – Germany – or are assisting in the destruction of our legitimate government willingly.

Like assigning a child the duty to clean their room: it does not matter if the room is in a house, a palace, or a space ship – their job is to clean their room. The job does not change, understand?

The first question a Presidential Candidate SHOULD always be asked is where they stand on the US Constitution and will they keep their legally binding Oath? If they say no, or that they want to change our government they should be discarded as a candidate.

Ron Paul has fought for our legitimate government for his whole polical career against those who were bought and sold with no honor, no honesty and are willing to destroy our nation, take YOUR life, your chidlren’s life, etc.

Let me know if you are finally willing to understand YOUR part of the US Government – because here in America – “We the People” are sovereign. And what happens here is what WE allow.

Get your head out of your rear.
Its already been explained why the 2 party system is corrupting this country and you ignorantly profess to keep on doing the same thing. People like you are the problem.

      • Stuart Shepherd

Thank the Good Lord God Almighty in Heaven one of y’all blessedly enlightened “Liberty Alert” “10ther” Libertarians finally put it all in one nutshell and what you can reasonably do about it that would be the most productive!!!! I read this newsletter daily. It is, BY FAR, the most astute and even actually quite profound often. They talk about “Starbucks socialists”- I never wanted to be an “e-mail libertarian/conservative” but I couldn’t see how to be effective other than voting (and I live in DC so even that’s not going to do much, if anything). You made my day.

      • Theresa Kelly

Obviously you don’t get it! Mitt is a globalist just like Obama!
If conservatives voted by principals instead of a party we could actually save out country!
If led by conviction and moral value you would have to abandon 95% of the republican party! The GOP is as corrupt as the Democrats!
They serve themselves, the interest of banks and large corporations, NOT the interest of the people,
What used to be called (Post of Honor) these politicians have corrupted into Seats of Greed and Seats of Power. And who my friend wouldn’t? The most evil and corrupt of men except save a few will move heaven and earth to become a congressmen president senator of these “United States.”
God help us! Ben Franklin gave this exact warning in his letter The Dangers of Salried Beuracracy and conservatives who vote for the GOP have failed to heed it! The people who should know better!

How can anyone take a political party seriously if they can’t even operate a convention without a teleprompter with the results already pre-written?

These are supposed to be political people who should already know how the House, the Senate, and how conventions are run. What the 7734 do they need a word-for-word script for?

Follow the agenda, call the votes and debates as needed, and record the results. Business as usual for politicians.

If the people who are chairing, and their parties, need to do this stuff off of a script, why in the 7734 are we voting for them to do this for a living?

      Dear Dennis,

Its not Dave H thats the problem with this nation ~ hell he was not even born when the BREAK’S took place.

He just like YOU are just as guilty of these CRIMES ~ if you think that Dave H is the ROOT of the problem,
So to are all Americans who have let down their guard. As I noted on Monday 29 10.- 2012 ~ we lost this nation in 1840, when what we all know as ” CENTRALIZATION” ~ took place, ~ from that point forward ~ the door was open for the Vampire’s to enter the nation’s government and replace it with what we now have.

So Please at least learn whats broken ~~ rather than worthless ~ let alone 100% totaly controlled grid locked down ~ mass media bag~O~ crap rhetoric.

      There is no { we the People,} Little or other wise~ again in case you missed it the first time that took place in ~ { 1840. }
If you attended { any } ~ PUBLIC school / PRIVET ~ than you never learned the TRUTH in any way shape or form, and its been compounded by the TON yearly from 1948 onward by that special plactic box we all call a TV ~that feeds all of us ~” Tela + Vision + Programing” ~ daily 24 hours – 7 days per week,
BTW ~ this goes for all of you what I posted above. If you less than 100 years old you never learned the Truth about anything in school. * Thats the way it is folks rather you like it or not.

You all need to learn why ~ so here are the ROOT’S for you to start your quest for TRUTH, Andrew Carnegie, & Jonh D. Rockefeller, ~ the English Orphanage system of teaching ~ Thus ~ ” Teaching Doctrine” ~ thus ~ “IN~DOCTRINATING” you / MAKING ~ stupid.

      To do this you can do many differant viens of research that will bring you to the same page, TIME after TIME ~ {as in with all science if you can reproduce the same results you have have the truth.}
      If you so wish to start to break the mold and learn something ~ Start with John Taylor Gatto at least you have a fighting chance of { learning something,}

      Thank you.

Peace and Love be with you. Got your bus tickets yet?

    • DaveH

I love how people like to put words in my mouth. Don’t you have anything better to do, Dennis?

      • http://gravatar.com/cbgard Carlucci

Michael Boldin is right on – ! We must focus at the STATE level. This article reminds me of what Margaret Mead said:

“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”

I can think of many good examples of this quote – Mahatma Ghandi, MADD, the Tea Party, medical marijuana, and most recently, a victory is close on GMO deception:

        http://www.infowars.com/dont-celebrate-yet-but-a-grassroots-victory-against-gmo-deception-is-now-inevitable/

Here in Texas, ex-CIA goon Lieut Gov. David Dewhurst lost BIG TIME to Ted Cruz in the election for a senate seat to be vacated by career politician Kay Bailey Hutchison. Ted Cruz is endorsed by the Tea Party. Texans were furious with Dewhurst because he put pressure on democrats and a few weak kneed republicans in the Texas legislature to vote down legislation to rid us of the TSA at our airports.

      • Deerinwater

Hmm? It’s these sweeping generalization that you sometimes make, we all are guilty of it at times~ while yours is sometimes snappy and biting ~ so people snap back David.

You are a bright person, ` work to improve, I have had too. As I have offered many times ~ polarizing people by attempting to insult or demising them closes their mind, not open it.

I confess, sometimes I am guilt of just not caring to attempt to try with some~ but we should.

Accept the fact, we need a public consensus for any change that you might wish to implement. This requires numbers of people that share your views. Pissing a lot of people off , telling them how dumb they are is not a good way to do that.

    • Nadzieja Batki

Leadership is always from the top down to lower, President (King), Judges, etc.. The leaders do good then the people mimic, the leaders are evil then the people mimic. It always follows the same pattern throughout history.

There are leaders and there are rulers. The difference is significant.

Leaders say “go this way or else” then go a certain way and wait (for you to follow, or not)

Rulers say “go this way or else” then put a gun to your head to make it clear that there is only one “else”.

Leaders honor your God given free will.
Rulers force you to follow their will.

Leaders will come back to get you when you change your mind.
Rulers will toss the dirt on your grave.

      • http://todaysconstitution.wordpress.com usirius

Actually, that is true for countries that have a person or group of people as their government: Dictators, Monarchies, etc.

Here in the USA our government IS the US Constitution – a document – not any of the people who temporarily occupy positions within the Federal government, nor those who also temporarily occupy positions within our state republic governments.

The reason why the Constitution of the United States of America is attacked so much is destroying it destroys our government, our liberty, our way of life. Notice that the stronger the attacks are on it, the worse our lives have gotten. When “We the People” are doing OUR job as the sovereign of this country and hodling those temporary workers accountable for their illegal actions then that will change.

Unfortunately they have made many of the FBI, SS, and Law enforcement around our nation criminals like what happened in Germany (slow takeover of the constitutional government there, using the police – plus militirizing them – and military against the people because they the ones that are trained to “follow orders”, etc)

    • JeffH

Boy-O-Boy…another attack pointed at DaveH. I guess his message just scares the beegeeses out of some of you and that means he’s been very effective with his own mwssage.

Scary that such a consistant proponent of freedom and liberty, a dedicated Libertarian, and a man who’s attempts at sharing his knowledge of and dedication to feedom and liberty with others that choose to cast a blind eye at BIG government, the government’s continued usurption of the Constitutionid, freedom and liberty, crony-capiltalism, the failures of socialism and Keynesianism. All of this has become the focus of such personal, and most probably, somewhat orchestrated attacks.

This is how I see it and personally, I’m gratefull to have him here. He has certainly opened my eyes and thought process. For that, I thank him.

If I were Dave, I’d consider these attacks a badge of honor.

      • DaveH

I appreciate your kind words, JeffH.

      • George E

        JeffH,

I’ll second that. I don’t agree with everything DaveH says, but I think he is certainly a valued contributor to this site, worthy of being heard and listened to..

      • JeffH

George, well said. I may not always agree with Dave either but he’s gained my respect and understanding…whether I agree or not.

      • JC

I’ll be the first to third that. :)

      • Dennis48e

        “Boy-O-Boy…another attack pointed at DaveH.”

If you are refering to my comment it is not an attack on DaveH rather only pointing out the fact that he never promotes grassroots efforts to build the libertarian party. All you ever hear out of him concerning voting is “vote Gary johnson” or the more generic “vote libertarian” in connection with presidential voting.

      • JeffH

Dennis48e, you are either blind or ignorant…I’ll assume you’re simply blind. Yes, that was an uncalled for personal attack.

Pay attention son…Yes, he’s passionate about what he believes in, Libertarianism, but to say that all he does is promote a vote for Gary Johnson is just not true. His message has always been consistant and unwavering …one of freedom and liberty.

Would you feel better if Dave constantly railed for the lesser of two evils…Romney or Republicans? Probably so!
        and more often than not…enlightening.

You either haven’t been around long enough or you haven’t paid attention to the majority of his posts.

      • http://www.facebook.com/charles.agnew.16 Charles Agnew

        ABSOLUTELY!

      You’re confusing governance and economics.

Governance is bottom up. It’s a representative republic that is by the people, of the people, and for the people. The government is not our master. It is our servant.

Economics is top down. Entrepreneurs capitalize on supply and demand. They borrow money (that’s top down) to build a business. That business employs workers (that’s top down also). Those workers spend their earnings in their local communities and the economy thrives.

So people create the government (bottom up), and money creates business (top down).
