Thieves Fail To Thwart Political Message

Glenn and Melissa Cruson in Colleyville, Texas, drew national attention when they placed a figurine of President Barack Obama in a spider web. Apparently, some people didn’t like the display. The exhibit was destroyed.

But if the response of the Crusons’ neighbors is any indication, Mitt Romney has a good chance on Nov. 6. The community came together and offered to rebuild the display.

“We had numerous calls, numerous texts, asking what in the world happened, why is your display down?” Melissa Cruson told CBS DFW.

About two dozen people came to the Crusons’ home to help out. This time, however, the display is less controversial. There is no Obama tangled in a spider web, and there is no Vice President Joe Biden in a clown costume. Instead, they put up a sign that reads: “Thieves took the clowns, but the circus still remains.”

Cruson explained: “We didn’t want anybody to think we took it down on our own because we believe in our rights to free speech and we believe in the message we were sending to begin with.”

      Oh Please lets face it it wasn’t a very flattering display and may have been set up to provoke that kind of response. It happens at every election and more proof that both sides are uncivil. We had several Obama signs stolen on Yale Av here in Denver so maybe there are a few Republican pranksters out there too. Gotta go! I must now rush out and make those stolen signs a national issue for someone to pick apart. LOL!

        You flatter yourself too much Mikey! There was a rally in one of the Carolina’s a few days ago (neo-Nazi). Some had vote Romney/Ryan on their shirts on but the main message on the shirts said White people for the two White guys running. You have some strange bed partners on the Conservative side too!

Daschle ,who didn’t pay his taxes and probably wouldn’t if Oshulb hadn’t appointed him a as Sec of Health, or pay no Taxes Geithner, John “I don’t rember” John Corzine who wasted and lost a few billion, “Greasy” Charley Rangle that didn’t pay his taxes on tax payer sub[isided housing. All of these lying cheats all got off with out jail time or any consequences. When these same sorry azzes want everyone fined and jailed for an shooting a attacking bear.       Unfortunately the powers granted to this President which enable him to appoint “Czars”, freely hold people in jail without charge, and generally abuse the citizens of our great country were not originated in this administration. They were also enthusiastically renewed with ovewhelming support from both Democrats and Republicans. This administration is simply using the power awarded to them by the previous administration when we gave up our liberty in exchange for “security” after 9-11. We were warned about the frightening amount of power given to the President by the “Patriot Act”. It didn’t take long for someone to abuse these powers as we were told would happen.
