Ride Out The End Of The World In Style
Hopefully you have a safe place where you and your family can go in the event of a cataclysmic disaster. But there’s no reason you have to be uncomfortable. Al’s Army Navy Store in Altamonte Springs, Fla., can help you live luxuriously when the apocalypse arrives.
For just under $60,000, you can sit comfortably 20-feet underground while you watch your flat screen TV or prepare something in the kitchen. The 32X10-foot shelter features bunk beds, a small kitchen and refrigerator, a TV, and an escape hatch.
So far, Al’s Army Navy Store hasn’t sold any shelters, but they have received questions from several customers who are serious about getting one. The price has been reduced from $65,000 to $59,000.
“We love to call it the fear factor — just kind of preparing for something. They can’t put a finger on it, whatever may or may not happen,” assistant manager Jeremy Ross told WKMG Local 6 in Orlando.
