The Benghazi Shuffle

October 16, 2012 by

The Benghazi Shuffle
UPI

It’s probably worth noting that a Vice Presidential debate exerts the approximate impact on a Presidential election as a preseason game featuring a pair of backup quarterbacks does on the Super Bowl. However, following the drubbing former Governor Mitt Romney dropped on President Barack Obama two weeks ago, the proxy match which was the meeting between Congressman Paul Ryan and Vice President Joe Biden offered much more excitement than any early-August NFL tilt — albeit not for the reasons Obama was hoping.

Biden’s bizarre behavior can likely be attributed to the Democratic desperation to regain momentum following Obama’s cowering performance against Romney. However, instead of bringing to mind Lloyd Bentsen making Dan Quayle look like a naughty schoolboy; Biden came off like a creepy old guy with either a serious drinking problem or a manic behavior disorder.

But Biden’s buffoonery paled in comparison to the deliberate dishonesty with which he responded to one of the defining disasters of Obama’s lamentable occupation of the Oval Office. Asked by moderator Martha Raddatz to explain the Obama Administration’s double- and even triple-talk about the circumstances surrounding the murders by terrorists of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three Americans in Benghazi, Libya, Biden didn’t even blink as he proclaimed himself and Obama merely misinformed bystanders: “Because that’s exactly what we were told by the intelligence community.”

Either Biden — and, by extension, Obama — lied through his hair plugs, or he didn’t. If he didn’t lie, then he and Obama are so insulated from the daily disgraces of their own underlings that they’re little more than figureheads. It is possible that Obama and Biden managed to avoid the facts regarding the Islamofascists’ murders of Stevens and three others; but if they did, they did so willfully.

The intelligence community passed along word of an organized terrorist action in Benghazi within hours of the attack. Even Democratic mouthpiece Newsweek reported the terrorist angle before the day was out. By the next day, members of Congress knew the score, including House Armed Services Committee member Adam Smith (D-Washington), who said as much: “This was not just a mob that got out of hand. … it was preplanned.” For Obama to enjoy a little bromance with sycophant David Letterman seven days later without accurate details required either breathtaking dishonesty or virtually complete isolation from his own duties.

Meanwhile, if Biden’s attempt to pin the blame on some phantom failure of the intelligence community stemmed from the same casual disregard for the truth that brought us other Obama achievements such as the Operation Fast and Furious scandal, then Obama’s desperate attempt to avoid responsibility for his own failures includes a willingness to throw intelligence service officers under the proverbial bus. That comes as no surprise, considering extreme disloyalty is a mere stones’ throw from extreme duplicity.

The morning following Biden’s fumble, Obama mouthpiece Jay Carney told reporters that Biden “was speaking directly for himself and for the president.” At least we can rest assured that the Vice President speaks only for himself and his boss and not someone particularly important. Actually, considering both Carney and the corporate media’s failure to acknowledge Biden’s obscene dishonesty in denying his own pro-war voting record, it’s possible that Crazy Joe speaks only to the voices in his head.

This Policy below is just but an unfortunate say. Even a kindergarten kid knows better: You insult the president and vice president at will.

Since when does Newsweek and other speculation constitute ‘knowing’? I think it’s clear than in such a situation that some kind of investigation must ensure to acertain the facts of the incident, along with motives, in order to correctly identify the crime. This would take longer than the warmongering trolls anxious to spoout “terrorist” even allowed. And even then… what does calling it a “terrorist” attack really mean? It’s a relatively meaningless term as one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter – I’ve come to realize that any violent crime these days is called “terrorism”. It’s a scapegoat for weak minds.

While Biden’s performance during the debate was indeed bizarre, I hardly think they are misinformed bystanders. They rely on information from other agencies, naturally, so to say they are misinformed bystanders is to say that every President is exactly that.

And to go off the speculation of Newsweek, is the same as a media conviction of a criminal even before the trial.

      TML,
Don’t forget that it was this same intelligence community that informed them that Iran does not have a weapon that can carry a nuclear warhead. Did they forget that the Iranians developed and successfully tested the Sejil ballistic missile over three years ago? It has a range of 1200 plus miles. Plus, they just tested the al Fateh a couple of months ago, that has a range of over 200 miles.

      • TML

Well, I think you mean that it was the same intelligence community that informed them Iran doesn’t have a weapon that can carry a nuclear warhead to the United States. Although such facts are negligible since it is confirmed by IAEA that Iran isn’t developing nuclear weapons.

But I agree with your implication that one can only be as good as the ‘intelligence’ one has on a given matter.

      • Nancy in Nebraska

The intelligence community is more closely tied with the “elite”. I think they’re throwing obumass under the bus!!! I bet we’ll be hearing more and more negative things about obumass as “they’ve” decided to back romney!

    • Bob Robbins

If ur POTUS would keep his ass in the oval office as much as he does on TV he might learn some of the facts he is paid to know.

      • TML

Although ‘our’ president does seem to be a bit preoccupied with the election. I think you’re talking about the White House Situation Room, started under Kennedy, rather than the Oval Office. Still, such room is run by the National Security Council staff and the President’s advisors (including the National Security Advisor, the Deputy for Homeland Security and the White House Chief of Staff). If he isn’t learning the facts he needs to know, when he needs to know them, I’d look to those individuals.

    • gunner689AI

There is a major difference between not knowing and not wanting to know. BO attends less than half of his daily security briefings. BO and the HAG are both criminally neglegent.

  • http://twitter Concerned67

When the right has no substance or facts then they start with the same old garbage. Biden was laughing or he didn’t have his hair comb or he didn’t look at Ryan. Look folks this wasn’t a beauty contest. I want facts and figures and the truth. I don’t care what they look like or if their hair was on fire or if they wore a purple suit. I don’t know how many times I have been on twitter and facebook and newsvine and made my point with facts and figures and the right comes back with you mispelled a word.

    • Nadzieja Batki

Since you have no Facts about what your ideological opponents believe, you are the one making up facts and conjectures about Ryan and the people who may agree with his ideology. Very fancy dance footwork of not admitting that you are a liar alongside VP Biden.

      • eddie47d

The Ryan family has received government subsidies for over 100 years Nadzieja in their railroad and construction business. They became somewhat wealthy over this government largeness. He now attacks infrastructure projects when his family benefited greatly from them. That is some slick foot work on his part.

    • Bob Robbins

Let me give ur ignorant [expletive deleted] a figure. We are trillions, that’s with a T, more in debt since [racial comment removed] came to be the POTUS than in all of history.

    • Nancy in Nebraska

Concerned67, very few facts were exchanged during the debate! I didn’t notice or CARE how biden’s hair was combed or what his suit looked like! What concerned me was his lack of self control!!!

  • http://twitter Concerned67

I see we have many foreign backyard experts on here. First point all I hear from the right is ” It appears” or It seems ” or ” I believe ” or ” I know he/she is lying” seond point I remember 3 to 4 months ago the deaths in a movie threater showing ” Black Knight “. They are still investigating and finding more evidence. The right thinks we should within hours know the names of the people who did it and how many and ages and what group they were with. The CIA and FBI is investigating and I want to know what their reports has to say. No opinions, but facts. Don’t forget the building was totally destroyed and the witnesses won’t talk because they are afraid and the government is not putting forth their best effort to find these people. It was at night and with mortors and machine gun fire and grenade launchers. It takes time to find out what actually happened. Everybody on the right is guessing. Of course anyone over 100 miles from home are experts.

  • johnC

I remember in Civics class back when it was a requirement in High school to be educated about our government….Lie and Deny was a tactic used by the communist leaders and most tin horn dictators

    • eddie47d

Apparently those tactics are used by Republicans too since Bush/Cheney lied and denied all the time. Should we then call them Fascists tactics.

      • Nadzieja Batki

Bush/Cheney are no longer President/VP or haven’t you heard?
If O was doing the job he was hired for, you would not be constantly trying to divert attention from him. So you are admitting that your O is worthless as President.

      • Bob Robbins

Let me ask u again, how do u receive ur welfare payments. Please don’t tell me u are not on welfare.

      • eddie47d

No Mr Robbins, Nadzieja is not on welfare unless she is keeping it a well hidden secret. Still trying to hide from the Bush era Nadzieja? Sure seems like your one of the deniers. If Obama loses I won’t cry about it as long as it is a fair and square election.

      • Nadzieja Batki

Robbins was commenting to you, eddie47d. Your reading comprehension has slipped since you are in a desperation dither.

      • eddie47d

I’m not on welfare so it must have been for you!

    • Alex

You, like so many others, johnC, were simply brainwashed. Do you seriously think your teacher would say anything good about “Communism” or “Socialism” when people were losing jobs for just that reason? Your teacher told you thisand that so you believed it, and never went to investigate on your OWN. The more intelligent amongst us grew up, kiddo—maybe you will some day, too….

Maybe if Obama attended his daily security briefings he would know what is going on!

Obama is a traitor of American values. One does not expect US President to extoll a religion (Islam), which is incompatible with the US Constitution and rather then telling Muslims to REFORM their hateful supremacist ideology, Barak Hussein Obama is living up to his middle name and helping them subvert US Constitution so that the truth about Islam and Mohamed (a pedophile, polygamist, rapist and murderer) would not be revealed to Americans.

Obama is directly and indirectly responsible for the gruesome rape and murder of the US ambassador in Libya by Muslim mobs who shouted Allahu Akbar, just like the terrorists of 9/11. Both Obama and Biden have no business being in any position of power in American since they are traitors of American values. By not allowing US Marines to carry live munition in Arab countries, Obama had made US diplomats sitting ducks for Muslim mobs who are taught by their “holly” men that their miserable situation all the fault of Jews and America, rather then recognizing that Islam and sharia cause tyranny and corruption by banning reality to be dealt with..

Biden in particular, was a Senator from Delaware where he had a cozy relationship with insurance and pharma corporations, and thus Obamacare is another swindle on Americans to increase the incomes of the top dogs of those companies and not to help improve health of Americans.

They should resign immediately and be gone. Obama can go to his Muslim Brothers in Egypt to whom he gave 1,500 millions for war on women and Israel or to his Saudi king to whom he bowed even though the subjects of this king had committed crimes of 9/11!

    • Karolyn

Don’t you ever get tired of spreading rumors and conjecture? It’s as if you really KNOW all this to be true. Hey, maybe some of it is. However, NOBODY knows other than the subjects of the talk. Maybe you can tell me what is it that people get from spreading rumors that they take as gospel from other parties, who get it from other parties, who get it from other parties ad infinitum. Honestly, I don’t get it. What do you get out of it? It appears that those at the top of the information food chain have an easy time of it influencing those at the bottom. And before you go off on me, I am not a blind follower (though some might “believe” otherwise). If I were a blind follower, I would not be a contributor here for over 2 years. Believe me. My eyes have bee opened about a lot; however, I blindly follow no side.

      • Patriot

See Obama for rumors, lies and innuendo! When things seem complicated, they are actually very simple. The Obama/Biden plan: When things go wrong for your ideology – Plan: is to lie, distort, deny and blame! That’s it!

      • Nadzieja Batki

Karolyn, but that is exactly what you and your Leftist Buddies have been doing, spreading rumors and conjectures about what a man O is.

      • Bob Robbins

UR EYES SURELY WEREN’T VERY OPEN WHEN THE MUSLIM BOWED TO THE MUSLIM KING, SHAME ON U IGNORANT PEOPLE FOR HOLDING UP FOR THIS PIECE.

      • Karolyn

Bob – So it’s OK if he bows to a European king or Queen but not to a mideastern monarch? It’s called proper protocol.

    • eddie47d

I see GEA is still spreading his insanity without any intelligent reasoning. If we are to believe you and your attacks against Obama and in the viciousness you employ. Then Reagan and Bush/Cheney should be banned from our history books. Since they caused far more deaths and damages in building the American empire. I get a kick out of GEA mocking Obama for going to Saudi Arabia although Bush went there and held hands and kissed the King. Now that is immaterial to me who bowed and who kissed but your callous and ignorant hypocrisies are there for all to see.

      • http://yahoo.com bobdavidson

L..B.J. sent over 58,000 troops to die in Viet Nam for his stupid war.

      • Gea

War in Vietnam was against spread of Communism which at that time in history WAS on the move to take over the world, believing in supremacy of Marxist ideology. Eventually, Communism could not feed its people (no society that blocks freedom of speech and thought can be functional) and people saw what an evil empire Soviet Union was, where Stalin murdered and starved over 70 millions of Russian and other people during his long reign of terror. The Siberian camps for those who were randomly selected as “enemy of state” were almost as bad as Nazi concentration camps except that they did not have gas chambers.

Islam is another supremacist ideology, similar to Nazi ideology, including its delusional Jew hatred where Jews are considered as “The Sons of Pigs and Apes”: Muslim Antisemitism and Political Correctness of Liberals (http://www.potomacbooksinc.com/Books/BookDetail.aspx?productID=271884). The danger of Islam, which is incompatible with US Constitution and the Universal Declaration of Human rights is real, and having a US President financing and supporting Muslim Brotherhood is a treason of American values of liberty and justice of all. Islam is a supremacist ideology similar to supremacist Nazi ideology and must reform or has no place in any society that respects liberty and human rights…..

Read Koran and Hadith and study the bloody history of Islam and Mohamed (who was a pedophile, polygamist, rapist and murdere according to Arabic sources) to see for yourself. Jerry Sundusky should have gone to Saudi Arabia or to some other sharia-run country where pedophilia is legal and he could have up to 4 wiuves and unlimited supply of prepubescent boys legally. Adult homosexuality between consenting males is punishable with death while molesting of little boys is OK.

      • Karolyn

Right, GEA, and we sure did end communism in Viet Nam, right?

      • Gea

Actually Communism fell under its own lies and incompetence and Marxist ideology could not feed people. China had changed as a result ot Nixom trip opening it and the realization of its leadership that they need to open their economy. Thus they are communist only in name.

Islam on the other hand is on the move, since their procreation is largest in the world and Muslim now comprise 1,6 BILLIONS (or 23% of people). While Muslim majority countries that are run by sharia, which is a medieval evli rules based on Koran and Hadith and are not suitable for human consumption are corrupt and failed economies, they send their poor masses to Australia, Europe and North American where they bring their “culture” with them and demand sharia, which is incompatible with US Constitution and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

US shoud stop this onsluaght o this supremacist ideology, similar to Nazi ideology and prevent genocidal, supremacist misogenyst Muslim leaders from coming to US and UN.

BHO & Biden should have watched Fox News. I knew the first day when they where reporting on the weapons used that it was a terrorist attack. I guess killing old Bin didn’t disrupt the radical Islamofascists all that much.

    • http://www.facebook.com/robin.donalddevallon Robin Donald DeVallon

Sure.. it did not… Bin was no Islamofascist…. he was just fed up…. with Zionist… and his own King and Princes taking the loot…. who you think pays for the oyl and sucks us ??? Donah..//

  • Marc

As long as we are the policmen of the world incidents like the Benghaze attacks are going to happen. We keep sticking our noses in everybodies business, and one has to expect a bloody nose from our actions. There are those of us who want war and those who don’t. I blame our Federal Government and military for making our country a war machine. I also blame the American people, including myself, for allowing war to continue on. We, the American people, have to ask ourselves are we a peaceful nation, or a warlike nation. In my life, age 64, there has been the Korean War, Cold War, Drug War, we are still at war with, Vietnam War, Iraq War one and two, Afghan War against terrorisim, which we are still engaged in. We stuck our noses in Lybia, now with our feet in Syria, Iran is our biggest threat and it’s just a matter of time Israel is going to drag us into that war. I don’t know about you but I have had about enough of war. But I keep reminding myself that we are the policemen of the world and war is endless for this country and its people. How long is it going to take you to decide when enough is enough. NO MORE WARS! Terrosim can never be defeated we can only try to control it from spreading. A concerned Vet in the Vietnam War Era.

The real reason that Oblama told Letterman what he did was not due to him not knowing what had happened. It was due to his desire to make the attack appear to be America’s fault (the movie) than the acts of terrorists. He has ALWAYS tried to make all these attacks appear to be America’s fault.

    • eddie47d

Its really fairly simple Caliber and others. We overthrew Gaddafi and intruded into someone elses land. That makes it an American problem and we have to pay for the consequences. We also had/have the false flag Iraq War which was hatched by Americans which puts the damages done mostly on our shoulders. There are still so many that can’t grasp that if you poke someone you get poked back. al Qaeda didn’t think we’d respond after 9/11 with the force we did in Afghanistan. The point is that al Qaeda needs to take responsibility for their actions and we Americans need to take responsibility for our empire building. If you can’t take the blame for what you cause then don’t do it!

      • 45caliber

        alpha:

Good answer. General Black Jack Pershing (probably misspelled his name) once had a serious problem with Muslims in the Philippines about 90 years ago. He ended it by lining up fifty prisoners. He let them watch as he had a number of hogs killed in front of them and then had his men dip their bullets in the pig blood. 49 were then shot. They were dumped into a pit and the dead hogs were cut open and chopped up before being dumped on top of the bodies. The 50th man was released. There was no more problem with the Muslims anywhere in the world for over 50 years. Now? We can’t do that! It is wrong!

      • eddie47d

That story is totally bogus Caliber. Dr Frank Vandiver a Professor of history at Texas A.M. investigated that very story a few years back said it it nothing but urban legend and Jack would never have done it. I’ve heard some whoppers from you and I’m glad i looked it up.

Now if 4 dead in Benghazi and 2 in Mexico gets you all ruffled up then then those 230 Marines in Lebanon should have really got your blood a boiling. If those 6 dead are being used for your political purposes then how about those 825,000 that died in Central America because of Reagan’s policies? Heck Bush/Cheney are still alive lets have a war crimes trial for those two. Would that please you since their policies killed even more than Reagan. Now we can slice and dice this anyway you want so feel free to write back Marvis!

With pride it was reported that Obama usually skipped his daily face-to-face intel briefings, preferring to read and digest this information privately. It’s certainly no surprise that his isolation from the intelligence analysts left Ambassador Stevens and the three other Americans vulnerable. Hell, we’re all vulnerable here at home, as well. We have a president who refuses to acknowledge terrorism when confronted with it and is more comfortable calling it something else. The enemies of the US sense weakness in the White House and will act accordingly. What is most disturbing is the lack of concern in the mainstream media to draw attention to all this. They are complicit in placing the country in danger from the enemy within.

    • 45caliber

Apparently Dussty1 want to play the Four Horseman of Apocalypse and is encouraging America to troll for more wars. How exactly would you fight terrorism if we don’t belong in some of these countries in the first place. We helped to create terrorists all over the Middle East and then we whine and cry that the government isn’t protecting us from those terrorists that we helped establish. Americans complain about not having enough protection against said terrorists. Then those same people vigorously complain about TSA,camera security and armed SWAT teams running all over this country. Security is everywhere but do you feel safer or do you just like to complain? How much doublespeak is enough for you?

It seems eminently plausable that Obama and Biden were uninformed! It seems that, given ( in his mind) he is always the most intelligent individule in any room, he can make far better decisions, absent the minutiae of the lessor individules in his Intelligence Organizations! He, therefore need not waste his time attending his Intelligence briefings, except occasionally, to soothe their hurt feelings!

Tens of millions of Americans, in the “private sector”, get up each day and go to work to support this? Maybe “we” need to have our heads examined! Just ask yourself this question. Do you believe your investments (theft) is paying dividends? Absolute buffoonery! Here in “utopian” crook county, our feckless leaders are coming up with grand ideas like taxing bullets, guns, a tax on poker machines? Really? We have a US Congresscreature that’s bi-polar and under investigation for misuse of campaign funds. His wife is a chicago aldercreature. Suprise, suprise, suprise. And he won’t back out of the election and he will win again because he runs opposed. This is your 2012 democrapic “progressive” party. The party of degenerates, thiefs and misfits.

We are to believe that the Adminstration was on top of every detail as to the Bin Laden raid, but had no idea what was going on in Syria! I am sick of these fools blaming everyone else but themselves! I could not care less whose fault this is, to me, Obama or Clinton they are the same, both complete fools! Read how the both of these people treat our military and how they despise and disrespect our troops! Not to mention all the security leaks that come out of this White House putting our troops and people at risk, all these folks need to go before it is too late! Obama is more comfortable raising money then running our country! ASK YOURSELVES HOW DOES A GUYS NET WORTH INCREASE FROM $1.3 MILLION TO OVER $11 MILLION WHILE HE IS PRESIDENT? You steal it that’s how! This guy, his czars and all these despicable people need to go and now!

    • Nancy in Nebraska

The REAL question is: if he didn’t know, WHY didn’t he know?!? THAT is where the focus belongs!!!

  • http://liberty Tony

    To Everyone:
Look, both candidates, excuse the phrase, sucked the big one and you’ll know it. Biden acted like the joker, Ryan looked like a mixture of Eddie Munster and a hung over frat boy after a night of debauchery. We have to face the facts. They both, in general, were bigtime phony turkeys. Not to sound like an ad promotion, yet, the best bet is to vote third party. That’s Libertarian candidate-Gary Johnson. Have a good day!!

    • Paul Wells

Again…I don’t know what debate you were watching, Tony…but I didn’t see Ryan acting like a “a mixture of Eddie Munster and a hung over frat boy after a night of debauchery”, I just have to hear what makes you say that (aside from unabashed left wing demagoguery) . I thought Paul Ryan was respectful, in control, thoughtful, and made his points without name calling, laughing, acting like an ignorant ass. So do tell, what is “acting like Eddie Munster” or “a hung over frat boy after a night of debauchery”? Geez, the low that the left will stoop to!

      • http://liberty Tony

To paul and Nancy: Look Paul Ryan told about four different lies in the debate. The first one about the G.M. plant in his district. Then, the fact he lobbied for stimulus money for “green pork” jobs, then about saying he’s not going to cut taxes for the rich, and then denying that he cut funding for security for our embassies abroad. Now, we’re going to have to be honest here. The reason why Joe Biden could put on his “Joker” act is because of all these fibs Ryan told. The best bet is, as i will keep re-emphazising, third party. Libertarian-Gary Johnson. BTW, both candidates would be scary as President and you’ll know it!! Thanks!!

    • Nancy in Nebraska

Do NOT take this as an endorsement, but I thought that Ryan’s behavior and demeanor were very professional! (He said a lot of words but didn’t impart much REAL information) He was patient and expressed an enormous amount of self control. Biden on the other hand, was rude, impatient, and lacked ALL self control! His facial expressions betrayed ALL of his words! They convinced me more than ever, that there is something wrong with him!!! VERY SCARY!!!

  • Tom Cook

One of my good friends–my pipemaster–believes that Bitten is crazy; I just think he is so morbidly stupid that he is completely incoherent.

    • Karolyn

Smart enough to have gotten to be VP. That doesn’t count. I think you’re mistaking a kind of simpleness with being stupid.

      • daniel

Karolyn one must wonder why Biden? You see Obama was historic and any politician would want to be part of that kind of team. It makes a career and reputation a lot easier. So I would ask if Biden was first choice or last choice. I am sure others ahead said no.

    • Patriot

Tom, could not agree more! Biden is the perfect reasoning for term limits, if this is all the guy has leanered after 40 years in the Public Sector, then Joe “my friend” you need to go! I am also sick & tired of these guys acting Civil with one another, I was so waiting for Ryan to say “Joe we are not friends, never have been, never will be” for a whole host of reasons! We need to change course with Mitt & Ryan this is what we have now and then change over most of the dead weight Republicans, lets’ start with that spinless Speaker of the House!

  • Corkey

Another non event discussion last night between two Flat Earth proponents. They both did a great job avoiding anything of consequence with their bipartisan stooge moderator heaving change-up softballs at both of them. What debate?

    • Paul Wells

      Corkey,

What debate were YOU watching? The one I was watching showed Joe Biden appearing unhinged, and off his meds, interrupting Ryan 90 some odd times before Ryan could complete his sentences, and a “bipartisan” moderator who interrupted Ryan nearly as much! I know the dimwits er..uh…democRATS won’t see it that way, as they are all frothy at the mouth for that kind of debate, but the debate I saw had Ryan winning by default due to rude, insolent, childish behavior coming from a man who should obviously know better.

      • JuanC

Good point and answer Paul. Dems just won’t accept that what they have for a prez and vice-prez aren’t worth a damn.

      • RAB

Paul, you are so right………when you play dumb, you are dumb. :)

    • Ted Crawford

I have no idea what you were watching ! It clearly wasn’t the debate! The topics of Entitlements, (SS & Medicare), the subject of Taxes, the subject of the catastrophic Intelligence failure in Lybia, ETC. were on the table. Therefore, either you were watching some other broadcast or you are the single most uninformed person on this Planet!

      Walk and chew gum… Multitasking.

I was walking, chewing gum, reading a newspaper, answering my cell phone, and getting hit by a car all at the same time once.

      That’s multitasking.

      Rob

      • Nobody’s Fool

Rob, I believe you when you say you were hit by a car while multitasking. I’m so sorry for the serious brain damage you are suffering from that hit. I had thought you just had early on-set Alzheimer’s, but now I understand. No one could be as stupid as you unless they had 1) been hit by a car or 2) had Alzheimer’s. This just leaves me wondering if Karolyn, Eddie47, Doc Sarvis, and the other left wing commies that skulk on this website, were walking with you (and of couse, drinking the kool-aid) when that car hit.

    • Karolyn

Well, what she said is true. It is her responsibility as Secretary of State.

      • Paul Wells

True, but do you ALSO believe what Odumble and Biden are saying about the fact that the two of them had no knowledge of any of this? I believe they did, and of course, there is no actionable proof, so it comes down to what you believe. Still and all though, if Hillary’s plan was to run in 2016, people won’t forget about this, and it WILL get brought up again and often.

      • Robert Smith

“I believe they did, and of course, there is no actionable proof, so it comes down to what you believe.”

That was a question for Karolyn, so [comment edited for inappropriate language]! I’m not interested in hearing your leftist opinion.

      • eddie47d

Paul is back to the name calling again and lowering himself to the low standards that most Conservative commentors have these days. I agree that Obama /Biden deserve a little butt chewing but don’t crow to loudly Paul for the Republicans in charge screw up all the time too on foreign and domestic events. Remember Reagan’s debacle in Lebanon so do you want to go there. Those barracks were totally unprepared for such a devastating attack and they had the man power to stop it. That incident (about 230 dead) didn’t garner near the political attention that this Benghazi attack (4 dead) has. Seems like the Republicans need to move on with this issue instead of currying for votes. I bet if a new Consulate is built in Benghazi it will be more than prepared and lessons learned. That is if they can find the money to do so.

      • Ted Crawford

Robert, you are in serious danger of being censored by the Progressive Community here, everyone knows that the proper sequence is to pass it to know what’s in it! I doubt that they will tolerate someone with such a hughly diametric method of decision making!

      • RAB

        You are so right…

      • eddie47d

Are you saying Republicans don’t do their share of destroying Warrior? There is not an oil project they won’t approve of no matter how much damaged is occurred. There is not a river they won’t pollute in the name of progress. There is not a aquifer they won’t decimate to achieve that last drop of energy out of the earth. There’s not a mountain top they wouldn’t destroy and gleefully say the environmental damages are their right and then the taxpayer has to come in and clean up after them. Its the Republican Party that is champions of beef hormones (beef industry) which have changed the human body. The Republican voting states have allowed Monsanto to take over and push their GMO products on the rest of the American consumers. They have also been in cahoots with Republican voting farmers as they drove out the little guy and turned Monsanto into a monopoly. You are right these destroyers must go for they are truly despicable.

Larry I have been waiting for Hillary to do just as she did. That is scary when I am right. Next will be she will excuse herself from service to the administration. She knows she needs to distance herself honorably from Obama and this would be the most statesmanlike way to do so. In four years when she runs it will be history and she will look good to go.

      • Gea

Hillary is in a personal pickle too, since her grandchild will be a half-Jew (unless her Chelsie had converted to Judaism when marrying her Jewish husband). Since islam considers Jews subhuman (Sons of pigs and apes, http://www.potomacbooksinc.com/Books/BookDetail.aspx?productID=271884). Having her boss Barak Hussein Obama living to his middle name and giving US taxpayers money to his Muslim Brotherhood for war on women and Israel, makes it very difficult for Hillary.

She should run as fast as she can to disassociate herself from the traitor of the American values (her boss) and ideology of Islam which condemns her future grandchildren to a submissive role to supremacy of Islam, which is out to conquer the world (if it could). She was right about him that he was not competent to lead US! She however did not understand that he is a great story teller and promoter of supremacist ideology of Islam which is incompatible with US Constitution and the Universal declaration of Human Rights. Islamic teachings of superiority of Muslims over all other people is the ROOT cause of terrorism around the world, and unless Islam reforms it has no place in any society that respects liberty, justice and human rights.

BTW, her chief of staff Human Abedin, who has links of Muslim Brotherhood, is also in a pickle since she married a Jew (albeit a strange duck, Anthony Wiener) and her baby son, Jordan Zain Wiener, is also half-Jew, therefore a son of a son of pigs and apes, a former US Congressman Wiener. who had to resign because of his wiener pictures ;-) !..

Joe Biden’s behavior at the debates was an embarrasment to himself and to our country. He is counting on the ignorance of the American people. We will see in a few weeks if he is right or not. I keep praying he is not and people will wake up.

    • Carol J

Biden was acting childish and seems to be suffering from the early stages of Alzheimer’s. He kept repeating the same thing over and over while Ryan was trying to answer the moderator’s question.

Robert’s response is that of a child!

I was very alarmed at biden’s behavior during the debate. I’d seen his erratic behavior before but had always thought it was more a case of bad judgement. But I have to say, seeing him for an extended period of time, I really think there is something WRONG with him! I think that this is MORE than bad judgement! I think that he is not right mentally! The thought that this man COULD be at the helm of our country, really terrifies me!!! If he can’t control his actions or expressions for an hour or two, how would he run this country and what would be the consequences?!?

You may be right Nancy but that has always been Joe’s style. Why do so many Republicans put their feet in their mouths on a regular basis too. Bachmann said some strange things,Aiken of Missouri spoke before thinking,Gingrich is extremely intelligent but his arrogance gets him in trouble too. Maybe it is human nature and we are all built in with faults.

Biden’s behavior is that of a classic drunk. Bush (a so called dry drunk) had the same behavior. Foot in mouth disease every time they part their lips Both of ‘em…drunks. The great LIAR must endure sleepless nights when he knows his precarious VP is about to speak.

    • eddie47d

Yes good ol’ Joe was rather animated to say the least. The real question is who did the most lyin’. For the most part Biden answered correctly and Ryan fumbled the ball far more often. Romney kept Obama on the defensive and Biden kept Ryan playing defense. Ryan came across as befuddled as Obama. The Secretary of Defense is the one in charge of security and Hillary has admitted the ball was dropped on the Benghazi issue. Biden should have done the same instead of his lame response at the debate. There are over 275 embassies and consulates throughout the world and they are costly to maintain. Considering Ryan pushed for that $300 million dollar cut lets throw a wee bit of blame his way. Not all consulates can be up to standards if there is less money to do so. All the actors involved in this debacle need to come clean instead of looking for scapegoats and excuses.

      • Nancy in Nebraska

eddie47d, because they’re politicians, just assume that they were BOTH lying!!! Now ask yourself WHICH man came across as being more presidential? Who would you want representing our country? The man with self control? Or the man without?

In his right mind Ryan is right to have cut the 300 million $$… it´s rediculous to guard 275 (plus) embassies and consulates with 275 Marine divisions of specialized SEAL units if you guys don´t wanna work for “legal” pay. pay no taxes at all cuzz that ´s the American Dream. So Hillary took the blame and she´s not even heading Ryan´s committe ?? I would do too… you can´t touch me… proof it..!! Ryan didn´t use his left mind….. Donah..//

Biden is the poster child for term limits.

    • Ted Crawford

I whole heartedly agree with your hopes, however that idea is fighting an uphill battle! With 49+% not paying any Federal Income Tax ( I know “they pay other taxes”, so do those of us who also pay Federal Income Tax! Making that a nonsequitur), over 40% totally, or largely dependent on the Fed. for their income (voting for a living), 47% who feed themselves and their families with SNAP (including illegals)! A candidate that espouses the alien (to them) ideaology of accountablility and personal responsibility, has a difficult road to follow!

        Rob Smith,

So what, for once, why don’t you stay on this one topic. Bringing up, well so and so did it (whether they did or not) simply sounds like 5th grade playground tactics to diffuse and confuse. The bottom line here is Joe and Barrack knew, so stop with so n so did it.

      • Ted Crawford

It’s certain that Hillarys taking a responsibility stance, is intended to benefit her with her constituency in 2016! I do respect her for that stance. She is at least partially responsible. To what actual degree we will likely never know, given we will never know what discussions took place between the State Department and the White House!

      • Nobody’s Fool

There is no doubt in my mind that oBlamer called Hillary in and said, “Look Hill, you take the hit on this Benghazi bump in the road, and after the election I will have more flexibility. I’ll dump that idiot VP, Daffy Duck, and put you in as VP, and you can spend the next four years running your 2016 campaign. Being VP will give you a leg up on the competition.” So Hillary says, “Hand over the talking points, and call the press in.”

      • Nancy in Nebraska

Robert’s view is the same as this administration’s view! Always look for someone or somewhere to cast blame and responsibility! They not only act irresponsibly but they justify their actions! They try to divert attention from their own misdeeds by pointing out someone else’s! This is very juvenile behavior, something you would expect from a twelve year old. It saddens me greatly that this is who is running our country! A MAN who accepts responsibility for the country should not then ACT like a child! We need an ADULT who can SEE what is wrong, make clear decisions and then accept responsibility! Not a crybaby who says, “it wasn’t my fault, well, he did it too”!

Is that right Nobody’s Fool? Bill Clinton did not make it an issue it was the Republican Party that did so. The Republicans are very good obfusicating the real issues and in sabotaging the opposition.

Clinton is taking the Full Blame AFTER close to a Month of Denials etc.” But will she be FIRED or will her Accepting Full Blame be Just WORDS? & She has said that she will get OUT of Politics at the End Obama’s First FOUR Yrs. as Prez … Regardless of whether Obama gets Re-Elected or NOT… SO, she ONLY has LESS than One Month as Secretary Of State… SO, she is Taking the BLAME cause she will be History SOON. But FACTS Are: Both Her & Obama have LIE to We The People for almost a Month NOW… & Both KNEW what went down. Obama is just as GUILTY if Not MORE. Wake Up We The People. No matter How they SPIN the FACTS…. it comes out the Same which is They are Both LIARS. B. Obama’s WHOLE Life has been a LIE. HOW can Anyone VOTE for him??? “FOOL you once, SHAME on me. FOOL you twice, SHAME on you.” Those VOTING for Obama Again, don’t you have No Honor, No Self Respect, No Integrity??? You are BLINDED by his Nice Pretty Words… which end up FALSE Promises as he has PROVEN them to be… BLAME it on Bush.

        Rob Smith,

So what, for once, why don’t you stay on this one topic.
        ___________________________________________________________________

Paul they do it because it’s all they’ve got. Rather than admit that something is wrong…they look for another wrong to justify and rationalize…
Apparently two wrongs DO make a right…if you’re a Democrat.

As usual JC plays the “only Democrats do it” card. Haven’t learned a thing have you!

She didn’t really accept responsibility. She mouthed the words and then immediately proceeded to blame the “security professionals” under her. I hope it backfires on her and on the incompetent dilettante in the WH. If her fans feel she is being thrown under the bus by Obama, they might well decide to stay home this election.

Those wondering about the Romney surge among women voters need look no further than the bizarre behavior by Biden during that debate. However one assesses the subtantive parts of that debate, Biden did irreversible damage to the ticket among women simply by behaving so badly. Can anyone imagine that clown being a heartbeat away from the Presidency? Oh, that’s right, he already is! And who’s responsible for that pathetic piece of bad judgment?

      • Blame it on George

Watch out Juan, they’re working their little lying pea brains over at the WH on how to blame it all on George Bush

Drug & alcohol testing is a legitimate workplace requirement in most of America. One would think #2 man, who acts totally out of it, would be #1 candidate for testing!

Maybe if Obama would quit vacationing, playing golf, campaigning on the taxpayer’s dollar and got down to business, (the job he was elected and swore to do), maybe he would know what was going on.
