Obama Discusses ‘American Idol’ Feud

President Barack Obama is concerned about the conflict that has been making headlines. The conflict between Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, that is. The President took time out of his busy schedule to discuss the feud between the two celebrities. He thinks they’ll be able to work things out and move “forward.”
During a recent taping of “American Idol” Minaj verbally attacked Carey. Carey claimed that Minaj threatened to shoot her.
Obama appeared on “The Yo Show,” a pop culture radio show out of Miami, to discuss the incident. When asked about the feud, Obama said he thought that everything would be OK.
“I think that they are going to be able to sort it out, I am confident,” he said. “I’m all about bringing people together, working for the same cause, I think both outstanding artists are going to be able to make sure that they’re moving forward and not going backwards.”
The President added: “Mariah, she’s actually done some events for us. I’ve gotten to know her and Nick (Cannon), she’s a wonderful lady. Nicki I don’t know, but I’ve got her on my iPod.”
