the private contractors share your appreciation for the “sacrifice” also, all at
tax payer expense……..while their profits soar and the cost of labor falls…….

Lacking intellect, ethics, character, morality or integrity that you “do not care”
is to be expected……….that you would call attention to it, however, is not something
you should make a habit of……but if you feel compelled, you certainly have that right.

Please try, amidst all that bursting patriotism, to remember that it is not one which

One of the more interesting problems we have with understanding “military” is the successful propaganda that there is military and there is civilian. I’m 5 year Military vet. The people running the government now are about as un-Constitutional as they can get. Washington has been permeated with Communists / Socialists who don’t give a damn about the Constitution. They only use the Constitution to destroy itself in their push toward the Socialist Utopia. In 2008, almost 120 construction workers died in Austin, Texas. They went to work that morning expecting to go home in the same shape that they got there. Maybe a little tired and dirty, but still have all of their parts. Most of these workers were working on non-union jobs for non-union contractors. These “patriot” business owners thought it would be a good idea to have unsafe working conditions. Who wants to spend money on a new ladder? The one you got is only missing a few rungs. And why should I spend a lot of money hiring a shoring contractor since you will only be in that hole for about 10 minutes? There is a reason why we have laws like OSHA and labor unions. To protect us from the “patriot” Bidness entrmanuers who only see dollar $igns. I’t these “casualties” i’m most passionate about. You are right when you say that people in the military have a “blank check” on their lives. But working people DO NOT AND SHOULD NOT. That’s why we still need labor unions in America.
