Man Searching For Escaped Albino Skunk

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., (UPI) – A Florida man said he is on the hunt for an albino skunk that escaped from his home.
Floyd Wilder of West Palm Beach said Roscoe, an albino skunk he bought from a Lake Worth pet shop as a birthday present for his son, has not been seen since it escaped from the house for the second time, the South Florida Sun Sentinel reported Thursday.
“My main concern is that he’s alive and well,” Wilder said.
Wilder and the store where he bought the animal, Mark’s Ark Pet Shop, were previously cited because neither had a permit when he purchased the skunk.
Wilder said he called the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission when Roscoe made his second escape and told the officer on the phone to “come over and give me a citation.”
The officer issued Wilder a citation for allowing the skunk to escape.
