New Study Shows GM Corn And Monsanto’s Roundup Cause Cancer

A two-year study published in the journal Food and Chemical Toxicology showed that rats eating genetically modified corn (NK603 maize, which is approved in the United States for human consumption) and drinking water contaminated with Roundup in levels permitted in drinking water in the United States developed large tumors at an alarming rate.

Previously, only 90-day studies and those produced by companies at the behest of and on the payroll of Monsanto have been published. This is the first independent study of rats given with Roundup-tolerant genetically modified corn.

The study found that female rats were two to three times more likely to die than rats fed non-GM corn, and they developed mammary tumors more often. Males eating the GM corn were four times as likely to develop tumors, and those tumors developed up to 600 days earlier than the control group. Males also developed liver congestions and necrosis at a rate 2.5 to 5.5 times greater than the control group. Both sexes showed kidney-related problems.

Monsanto is spending untold millions of dollars attempting quash efforts to require mandatory GM labeling on all foods. Monsanto is a stealth terrorist organization far more dangerous than al-Qaida. It is creating a future generation of cancer patients, and it’s all FDA-approved.

    A team of Harvard scientists have discovered how to manipulate neurons in the brains of worms , http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2012/09/120924102658.htm , in order to take control of their behavior.
    This literal mind control is achieved through the use of precisely targeted lasers. S
    o far researchers have been able to take over an animal’s brain, instruct it to turn in any direction they choose, and even to implant false sensory information, fooling the animal into thinking food was nearby.
    When news of this reaches the mainstream media there is no doubt that they will say that there is no intention in using this on more complex life forms, however the researchers themselves are already discussing just that.
    Sharad Ramanathan, an Assistant Professor of Molecular and Cellular Biology recently told nature journal that , http://www.news-medical.net/news/20120924/Lasers-manipulate-neurons-in-worms-brains.aspx ,“If we can understand simple nervous systems to the point of completely controlling them, then it may be a possibility that we can gain a comprehensive understanding of more complex systems. This gives us a framework to think about neural circuits, how to manipulate them, which circuit to manipulate and what activity patterns to produce in them.”
    He also said that “Most of these approaches have discovered neurons necessary for specific behavior by destroying them.
    The question we were trying to answer was: Instead of breaking the system to understand it, can we essentially hijack the key neurons that are sufficient to control behavior and use these neurons to force the animal to do what we want?
    We want to understand the brain of this animal, which has only a few hundred neurons, completely and essentially turn it into a video game, where we can control all of its behaviors.”
    It comes as no surprise that this study was funded by the Human Frontier Science Program, the NIH Pioneer Award and the National Science Foundation.
    The Human Frontier Science Program itself a massive bureaucracy which receives financial support from the governments , http://www.hfsp.org/funding , or research councils of Australia, Canada, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, UK, USA, as well as from the European Union.
    The NIH Pioneer Award is a program set up by the us government , https://commonfund.nih.gov/pioneer/ , that gives grants to “scientists of exceptional creativity, who propose pioneering – and possibly transforming approaches – to major challenges in biomedical and behavioral research.”
    These efforts to control the mind of a living animal are openly funded by state agencies, and being announced as if it was just a typical benign scientific discovery.
    While human subjects are not being used in these studies as we saw with project MK-Ultra, it is obvious that this new program has the same intentions, to control the human mind remotely.

    Read the book –Seeds of Deception. I can’t recall the author’s name. It’s all about
    the genetic modified corn, soy, etc. I never purchase corn chips that aren’t organic.

    It is amazing how much is made with corn. If Monsanto wasn’t in bed with the government
    we would have labeling on our foods so we can make a choice.

    “GMO’s have only been prevalent in our food supply since the mid-1990′s, I think. Americans’ health has been going drastically downhill, with weird diseases in children, spiking autism, allergies, cancers. Breast cancer is a real problem–”funny” that the worst problem in the rats was mammary tumors in girl rats. If this isn’t enough proof to get rid of GMO’s and Roundup, we KNOW Obama has been bought off! (He has let more GMO’s through with absolutely no regulation or testing than I think any President in history.)

    It is interesting that these “round-up ready” products have been around since the 70′s and only now are we “finding” these things. It would seem that after 40 years of growing and using these products that these effects would already be apparent in the human population.

    I thing this is a case of looking for a certain effect and finding it by appropriately manipulating the test data.

    We can grow these crops organically, but it will dramatically reduce the yield and equally dramatically drive up the cost.

    We CAN get rid of GM foods IF we all stop buying it. We don’t need a law, just let free enterprise take care of it. But my bet is that most people will continue to buy GM foods solely based on cost.

      The freedom of the marketplace is a fine idea, but the flaw of Austrian economics is that it depends on a rational, well-informed customer. Since Monsanto fights food labeling, we don’t Know if there are GMOs so we don’t Have consumer choice. An ignorant consumer is a manipulated consumer – that’s why the want us ignorant – and keep trying to muzzle the net with phony bills to “protect” us.

    has a lot of tumors/cysts. I changed her food to Blue Buffalo brand now. No corn
    and no grains.

    It is amazing to me that our government thinks a little bit of poison in any product or food is not harmful. Almost every product or food we use or eat has a little bit of poison in it in one form or another. We use 25 to 50+ products and food a day all with poison added. How is mixing all those toxic poisons not going to affect our health and environment? We are all being thrown under the bus all for the sake of profits for big corporations.
