So you think you are free? After all, we have a Constitution with a Bill of Rights that “preserves” our freedoms.

So you think you’re free? Ask Brandon Raub what life in a free country is like. He was kidnapped from his home by the FBI, Secret Service and local police over Facebook posts in which he questioned 9/11 and accused the Bush family of committing crimes. He was held for a week with no charges and had a psychiatrist threaten to medicate and brainwash him.

He’s not alone. John Whitehead of the Rutherford Institute, who gained Raub’s release, says calls coming into his organization reveal a pattern of abuse.

In fact, veterans of the perpetual Mideast wars are increasingly being targeted by the state as needing psychological evaluation. That’s because many of them come home and challenge the official line of the wars’ results. The Department of Homeland Security has for years been laying the groundwork toward branding dissent as terrorism and naming veterans as possible ring leaders. Using charges of psychosis or nuttery is one way the state marginalizes dissenters.

But free speech Nazis aren’t just operating in the Federal government. They’re everywhere… especially in schools. Ask Brianna Gentry what it’s like to live in a free country. She was almost kicked out of school because she had a photograph of her military brother and her softball team on a binder cover. When her mother pointed out to school officials that nothing in the school’s rules forbade photographs, the school relented — on the photo of her brother. The softball team was verboten.

Schools are now banning T-shirts with slogans… especially those with Christian slogans. Educators have become the most ridiculous of all bureaucrats. They’ve gotten so ridiculous that now they’re offended by the way a deaf student “signs” his name.

An essence of a free society is property rights. Americans think they can own property. Fail to pay your annual tribute to the king (property taxes) and see who owns it. Or try to fill in a pond (or dig one), knock down a hill (or build one), cut some timber (or plant some), or raise livestock or bees or some other animal other than the state-approved dog or cat and don’t be surprised if a Federal, State or local regulator comes along and puts an injunction on your plans and takes you to court… or has you arrested. Many cities and towns are even citing people over the shrubbery and flowers they plant (or don’t) and flags they fly (or don’t).

Do you own some undeveloped or run-down property? Watch out. Thanks to the Supreme Court, municipalities can just take it away if they think they can give it to someone else to develop so more taxes can be collected on it.

Collecting water falling out of the sky is now a crime. Guy Harrington says he had the necessary permits for his reservoirs, but the State revoked them arbitrarily. Permits? For a pond? When you have to ask the king for permission to put a pond on your own property, that property is not yours. You are merely squatting.

Do you own a gun? Be careful what you say, especially if you’re Christian. A gun grab is under way. The recent shootings in Aurora, Colo., and Milwaukee were false flag operations designed to provide a launch pad for gun control discussions.

Operation Fast and Furious is another false flag implemented to provide cover for an Obama gun grab. Before the scandal broke, I told you how Attorney General Eric Holder was using increased gun violence in Mexico to push for a ban on so-called assault weapons. Then we learned that Holder was responsible for the increased gun violence by encouraging the sale of guns to Mexican drug cartels through straw purchasers in OFF (see Ben Crystal’s reports on OFF here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here).

The Department of Homeland Security has released a number of Orwellian videos like this one encouraging Americans to spy on one another and tattle like school kids. The result has been people reporting to authorities all sorts of legal activities that “concern” them — like the Pittsburgh father who was charged with child endangerment and subjected to a child protective services investigation because he left his children to play in a park (something kids have been doing for generations). In Virginia, letting kids play outside unsupervised got a mom a visit from police.

Totalitarian government bureaucrats (Federal and State) have made war on people who want to grow and eat natural foods, drink raw milk or take natural supplements. In fact, a Wisconsin judge has ruled people in that State have “no fundamental right” to consume any food, own or use dairy cows, or consume milk their cows produce unless they first get government permission. Even your pigs have to be a State-approved color.

Do you think you are free? Try avoiding State-mandated forced vaccinations for your children. Without the approved number of lifetime injections of mercury, aluminum, formaldehyde and other contaminants it’s almost impossible to get those children into the government indoctrination system known as public (un)education.

As Maryanne Godboldo and Kenneth and Erin Stieler learned, parents have little say in decisions about their children’s healthcare. If some pointy-headed, pencil-pushing, know-it-all government bureaucrat thinks he knows more than you (and most bureaucrats think they do) and you balk at his “omniscient” decision, jackbooted thug government enforcers will just knock your door off its hinges and take your child away.

But don’t think you can film their thuggish behavior. Doing so can get you beaten or shot with a Taser and locked up. Or, if it’s your lucky day, maybe you’ll get off with just a body-cavity search.

All across America, children’s lemonade stands are being shut down and people trying to hand out food and drinks to the needy find themselves under the boot of the growing thugocracy quaintly known as benevolent government out to ensure your safety. Since it’s done for our own good, we’re supposed to silently comply.

We live in an America in which the President can assassinate U.S. citizens on a whim. Thanks to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), Americans can just disappear into gulags, never to be charged and never to be tried. A judge issued an injunction to stop it, but President Barack Obama’s legal team won’t say whether the injunction is being obeyed. Of course, ignoring the law and court orders is standard operating procedure for the Marxist White House usurper and thug in chief.

We live in an America in which a growing band of criminal perverts fondle, grope and take naked photographs of us at airports, bus stops and train stations. We live in an America in which these same government goons are now holding checkpoints to ensure we have our proper papers.

We live in an America our Founding Fathers wouldn’t recognize. They certainly wouldn’t approve of it.

America, land of the free? Hardly.

“But, Bob,” you say, “the mere fact that you can publish this proves you’re free.”

No. It proves only that the oligarchs haven’t yet found a satisfactory way to reign in the Internet revolution. But it’s not because they’re not trying.

John Adams said: “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” Yet God has been pushed out of the schools, the governments and even out of most churches. Want to see the atheists, secularists, leftists and statist bureaucrats go crazy? Let your kid take a Bible to school to read between classes.

The rights of Americans do not come from the Constitution. They come from God. The Constitution merely acknowledges them. It puts restraints on the government to prevent it from trying to take them away. Most Americans have forgotten — or ignored — that.

We must elect only “moral and religious people” to office. Until we do, tyranny will prosper.

    More fear here… Shocking…. Newsflash, just because you are Christian, Jewish or any other man made religion, it does not give you a leg up on freedom and morality. Oh the poor Christians in this country, they are so oppressed aren’t they? They only have about 10 TV channels on cable to spread their word. They have endless radio stations also geared to spread the word. But because (and rightly so) the gov is making sure no religion has preference of another on public buildings and public lands by not allowing their symbols, they think that is gov oppression. Give me a break. Religion should be practiced in you home, your heart and your church, temple etc.

    When gov gets involved with religion, that is when you start to see a true erosion of freedom (see Saudi Arabia, Israel, Nazi Germany).

    I wish people would stop with the faux loss of freedom and live some place where there is a true lack of freedom. Nonsense like this article does us no favors.

      The problems we face are not the result of religion or a lack thereof, it is simply human nature in full display. Religious leaders can be as tyrannical as the non-religious variety. Long before i came to my faith, even then, i could discern that there was something catastrophically wrong with man; and that, made worse by religion, politics, psychology and every other man-made construction to address and remedy what is wrong with man. Until each one of us says in his heart, “I’m wrong with the world”, and stops blaming the other, the idioticy, and the madness will continue!

        The freedom or the perception of lack there of has to do with money. The wealth gap is the biggest factor in the middle classes and poor’s perception of a lack of freedom. Until we get big money out of the political process, this will continue. The wealthy make the policy, not the middle class and poor. You want people to feel like they have more freedom, start here.

      “Congress shall make no law … respecting the establishment of a religion, nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof (emphasis added). Most, if not all, state constitutions have similar restrictions on government involvement in religion. However, there is a religion taught in public schools. It is the religion of secular humanism. Its dogmas are pervasive – “all things happen by natural processes,” so it is taught that time and chance have creative powers; morality is not fixed, but depends on the situation; any criticism that does not fit the official definition of tolerance is not to be tolerated, but perversions that are offensive to followers of almost every other religion must be not only tolerated must be celebrated, etc. And of course, any practice or free personal exercise associated with the Christian religion represents competition, so it is frequently prohibited as “a violation of the separation of church and state,” but somehow Islam is often tolerated despite its much more intrusive nature. This quasi-official state religion is also imposed in other government institutions and many corporations.

      So in this sense, government has brought a religious war upon us.

      People are now slaves to the Government for 40% of their year. We can’t pursue the occupation of our choice without Government licensing or other hoops to jump through. We can’t hire and fire who we want as employers. We can’t trade freely with our fellow citizens. We can’t choose what to put in our own bodies. We are coerced to allow Government to put things in our bodies we don’t approve (vaccinations). Etc. Etc. Etc.
      In general, we are Free in name only.
      I suspect that, at the least, Dave67, you work for Government or benefit from their Crony protection. That is the only explanation I can figure for your constant attempted Propaganda on this board.

        One of the great tragedies of history is that Dave67 is right: a truly free market has never actually been tried by any society. Of course, the country that came closest, the USA, became the most prosperous AND generous country in history, but thanks to the good (but unenlightened) intentions of “progressives” like Dave67, millions of Americans have failed to escape the world of poverty. You don’t need to be “original,” DaveH, as long as you continue to cite appropriate passages from Mises. If Dave67 ever read any Mises or Hayek, the effort clearly exceeded his obviously limited intellectual capacity.

        Tell me how a “free market” works in a world filled with different currencies and different styles of Gov.

        The problem with DaveH is that mises.org is great theory. It just does not work in the real world. DaveH response to everything is to send the reader to his 200 page mises.org link in the hopes there is some relevancy to the subject being discussed.

        When you deal with countries that have different social compacts, manipulate their currencies and different class systems…the mises.org theory fails….

        Liberty Lover, we trade with a country that makes a widget for .30 on the dollar. Does that have downward or upward pressure on wages here for those making the same widget? If the Gov we trade with takes care of HC for their firms while the firms here have to pick up part of the HC tab, that puts the foriegn firm at an unfair advantage.

        These are a few of the many examples why the “free” market is not free. We institute what mises.org prescribes for this country, we die in the marketplace, the middle class falls down further.

        DaveH needs to wise up and understand how the world works… Apparently you do too.

        Perhaps if you actually read an occasional Mises reference by DaveH, it would lend some order to your very, very confused thinking. The more complex an economy becomes, the more essential are the almost infinite adjustments routinely made in a free market by all participants in seeking to optimize their own circumstances. Those continuous optimizing adjustments by individuals lead to the greatest good for the greatest number. I think you’d be capable of understanding it if you were not among the “dispositionally uneducable.”

        When the free-market becomes global, we all benefi significantly as consumers. But those producers relatively unprepared because of skill levels and pay scales to compete in a global market will experience a very painful period of adjustment. Globalization has been infinitely more helpful than foreign aid in lifting millions out of poverty, but it has devasated the economic circumstances of those who lost manufacturing jobs to foreign competition. The US unemployment problem won’t be resolved until prevailing wages reach market-clearing levels. Unless something is done to induce the private sector to create many millions of new jobs, there will years and years of further substantial economic pain. Free trade is very definitely producing the greatest good for the greatest number, but many of the biggest beneficiaries are not Americans.

The United States of America was conceived and created by oppressed Judeo basedChristians who came here to be able to worship Jesus Chist as they see fit. THAT is Freedom of Religion.         HAHAHA…I started laughing at this. And I’m sitting here asking myself why am I laughing at this? The Illuminated Masons were the founders. They were also strongly inspired by the Cathars.     I don’t think the Almighty gave anyone freedom. He has provided the means to obtain and keep it. That action is up to each and every one of us. The government is using religion as another way to divide us and to divert our attention to targets of opportunity so we don’t look to deeply into what they’re up to. Hitler refined this process to a tee. Sadly it can work. The same is being done in many other countries, if not all.
    This includes Islam bashing. Unlike most of you, I have lived in a Moslem country and shared bread with my neighbors, as they say. For the most part, the “regular” people are the same as us. They want to raise their children, have a roof over their heads, and to be left alone. Their leaders try to stir them up for political and financial reasons having nothing really to do with religion. Sound familiar? (note– I am a devout Christian).
    The bottom line, we need to know who the Enemy is. It’s not the Christians, the Jews, the Moslems or the atheists. Nor is it the rich capitalists or the immigrants or people who have guns or people who don’t have guns or women or gays, etc. As long as we elect and support power-mad nazis (of both parties) whose sole ambition is absolute control, we will see our freedoms disappear slowly or quickly. All that World War II solved, after millions of lives were lost, uncountable property damage and misery, was to change the names of the despots in control. The world today is not much different than it was in the 1030s.
    As long as we spend all our energy striking out at each other, the Enemy wins. God help us.

      God gave man perfect freedom. It is the governments of men that have taken it away! These governments of all kinds are mere puppets controlled by Satan.Jesus said “My kingdom is no part of this world.” He did not get involved in politics. When they wanted to make him king, he disappeared. Why? Because the rulerships of men are all influenced by unseen evil elements. After Jesus was baptized, Luke 4:5-8 records that Satan the Devil offered him authority over all the earthly kingdoms or governments. Jesus declined. Satan is the unseen ruler of this world. From the garden of Eden he has contended that he was a better ruler than God. God has granted him these thousands of years to prove what kind or world he would produce. WELL, YOU SEE IT NOW!. It is only FIT FOR DESTRUCTION IN GOD’S JUDGMENT!
      So Jesus told his disciples to be “no part of the world” (John 17:16) and when there was a conflict between the law of the land and God’s law (Acts 5:29): “We must obey God as ruler rather than men.” WHERE DO YOU STAND!

        Government is a necessary force. In the ideal world everyone would be self governing and would never step on anyone else nor initiate force against anyone else. When you find that world do send word.

        In the mean time in this world, because of whomever you care to blame, there are those who would force their free will on the unwilling. To protect ourselves from those who would use forcein this way, governments are instituted among men.

        Sound familiar? It should. If not then you need to re-read the Declaration Of Independence.

        “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.”

        Vicki: Thanks for your thoughtful comments. What you say is true purely from a worldly viewpoint. However, God never intended man to rule himself. Jeremiah 10:23 says that “It does not belong to man who is walking even to direct his step.”

        It was God’s rule that issued the law in the garden of Eden in Genesis 2 not to eat of a certain tree. It was a test of loyalty to God’s rule. God’s rule was challenged when the one behind the serpent implied that God was a liar and that man would be like God if he ate of the forbidden fruit, determining for himself what was moral (right and wrong).

        God gave men a definite time period to rule, without interruption from God, to prove what kind of world he could produce without God’s intervention. Here we are, more than 6,000 years later and what does the history show? Man has miserably failed to bring peace, security, health and happiness to all mankind.

        That’s why we have the Bible. The theme of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation emphasizes God’s Kingdom rule under Jesus as King as the only hope for distressed humanity. Yes, a heavenly government, but it rules this earth and brings about a perfect world, free of sickness, death, wickedness, terrorism, crime, division, hatred, on and on.

        Read the book of Matthew. What did Jesus preach about? “The Kingdom of Heaven” What did he send his disciples to preach about? “The Kingdom” He also taught them to pray “Thy Kingdom Come!”–a prayer for God’s government to take complete control.

        Revelation 16:14-16 shows that is what Armageddon is all about. It is a war between the governments of earth and God’s heavenly forces under the direction of his Son and Executioner of Judgment, Jesus Christ. Revelation 19 shows that war will remove all of men’s governments and those supporting them. Please read it carefully.

        Right now is the time for us to choose the rule we want to give our support to for earth. Are you satisfied with how man has been running things?

        If we support any kind of government of men, we will receive the same fate as it does. Please read Daniel 2:44, “The God of heaven will set up a kingdom that never will be destroyed…..It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite.”

        Please study the Bible to learn how you can survive the end of this wicked system of rulership and enjoy the blessing of living in paradise forever with beautiful people who truly love and care for one another. Jehovah’s Witnesses will be happy to help you gain the knowledge that leads to everlasting life without charge or obligation. (John 17:3)

The Bible is a Druid mystery works created in the manner of a Grimm’s Fairytale literature by the Council of Nicaea/Vatican approximately 325AD. When you quote the Bible, you are quoting a largely Satanic literature that has absolutely NO basis in reality and is therefore about as descriptive of God as a cave is of sunlight. Therefore, you’re a madman pressing an insane literature into the mainstream with no idea what you are doing, who you are doing it for or where it is ultimately leading people. WAKE UP!

        Just think what freedom Adam and Eve had in the Garden of Eden. Only one law, to not eat of the fruit of the tree that was in the middle of the garden. That one law was basically to teach man that Jehovah God was the one to set the boundaries. Those boundaries set by God for his intelligent creatures are for their benefit and protection. Like, for example, the physical laws that govern energy and matter

        Back in the garden of Eden, Satan asserted that the key to true freedom is independence from Jehovah God. What a malicious and monstrous lie that has proved to be! Indeed the more people disregard the moral and spiritual boundaries established by God, the more society as a whole suffers. We cannot disregard the law of gravity without getting hurt. The same is for the spiritual and moral laws set by God.

        Nevertheless we have the hope of seeing an end to mankind’s enslavement to sin and corruption and of enjoying what the Bible calls “the glorious freedom of the children of God.” (Romans 8:21)

        This will take place in answer to the prayer: “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

        That tree was man, and the fruit was man’s own children. The invocation was to not eat one’s own children. Eve did this anyway enticed by a grifter, which is typical seduction even today in neopolitics. The Satan was the cult of Satan, or a priesthood, which practiced necromancy which is still practiced today in the UK. This sacrifice ritual is linked to Druid mysticism which institutionalized via the Masonic Union in a meld with the Templars approximately 1530 and which was opposed by the Illuminated Masonic founders who later wrote protection from this into the Bill of Rights, hence the 2nd amendment. Sammi, you’re a few hundred years behind the times, which makes you a good slave but dangerous to a constitutional republic. The Bible is the operating manual for despotism.

      Ted, so much of that is not being taught, not due to any “Progressive” ideals, but due to parents deciding their child was being “picked on” by the school administration for not being what he or she didn’t WANT to be. Lawsuits followed, generally won by the complainant, which forced rules to be put in place saying schools could NOT discipline a child for anything by anything other than a “time out”area, or, if worse came to worst, suspension, often served in school, or actually kicking the child out of that school, which amounts to automatic placement in an “at risk” class, which is almost like sending him to jail. Those “at risk” classes are for the kids who absolutely can NOT get along in school, and thus are the very people who should not be interacting with each other constantly.

      You’re way off, Flashy. Our freedoms and liberties were eliminated long before bush2. To be precise, they were eliminated the second Congress signed into law, the Fed Reserve act in 1913!       No, Flashy, conservatives did not support the PATRIOT Act. Many of us reluctantly accepted it as a necessity of war, but were very concerned about the potential for abuse. That is why Congress made it subject to renewal. Trust that the President would not abuse it was a key component of its initial passage, (so far as we know, there is no evidence that President Bush did abuse its powers, despite the numerous hysterical, non-specific claims you and others have made). The Republican-led House came very close to letting it expire last year, but Mr. Obama et al. persuaded them to renew it, and the Democrat-led Senate quickly followed suit.

        So what are the details the flashy ignored.
        Contempt of court. Nothing in the article talks of contempt of court. Flashy provides no evidence. Proof by bald assertion.

        Water law. Since rain water is water and he was collecting water that fell on HIS property (rain) in containers that he had actually bothered to get permits for (though the government took those away showing the danger of depending on government for rights), I find that he WAS arrested for collecting rainwater.

        On Wednesday July 11, 2012, a Jackson County Circuit Court Jury convicted Eagle Point resident Gary A. Harrington on nine counts, each related to the unauthorized use of water. Under Oregon law, all water is publicly owned, and those who wish to use it for their own purposes must obtain a water right permit issued by the Oregon Water Resources Department (OWRD). State law grants various exceptions to this requirement, including an exception for collecting precipitation water that gathers on an artificial impervious surface, such as a rooftop or parking lot; in rain barrels, for example.

        Harrington stored and used water illegally by placing dams across channels on his property and preventing the flow of water out of these artificial reservoirs without obtaining a water right permit. The height of each dam varies; two dams stand about ten feet tall and the third stands about 20 feet tall. The total amount of water collected behind these dams totals about 40 acre feet; enough to fill almost 20 Olympic-sized swimming pools. These man-made reservoirs feature boat docks, boats, and were stocked by Harrington with trout and Bluegill for recreational fishing.

        The state first identified Harrington’s illegal water use more than ten years ago and initiated enforcement action to discontinue his illegal use of water. After numerous attempts by OWRD and the Watermaster to achieve voluntary compliance, the Department enlisted the assistance of the Oregon State Police in 2002. Citations were issued, and Harrington pleaded guilty to several violations. He was assessed a nominal fine and ordered to drain the three reservoirs, which he did. However, Harrington again closed the headgates in 2004 and refilled the reservoirs. As a result, OWRD and the Oregon State Police submitted reports to the Jackson County District Attorney’s Office alleging additional violations of Oregon water law. That office filed misdemeanor charges against Harrington, and in 2008 he pled guilty to one count. He was issued another fine, placed on one year probation, and was again ordered to drain the reservoirs.

        According to testimony in the most recent trial, the day after Harrington’s probation expired, he again closed the outlet valves and refilled the reservoirs. The District Attorney’s Office enlisted the help of the Oregon Department of Justice, charges were once again filed in Jackson County Circuit Court, and on July 11, 2012, a jury found Harrington guilty of all nine counts.

        On Wednesday the Court sentenced Mr. Harrington to 30 days in jail and three years’ probation, and imposed a $1,500 fine. Judge Timothy Gerking also ordered that the headgates holding back the water be opened and kept open with locks and chains. He also ordered the dams to be breached after the water is drained.

        “Mr. Harrington has operated these three reservoirs in flagrant violation of Oregon law for more than a decade,” noted OWRD Deputy Director Tom Paul. “We rely on the judicial system to maintain the rule of law and the Court’s conviction and sentencing in this case has done just that.”

        Officials with the Department, in conjunction with the State Police, plan to visit the site during the next several days in order to confirm Harrington’s compliance with court orders.

        Disagree. I think there’s an ecological issue here that needs to rein in individuality. Oregon’s pretty wet, so I can understand how damming up a small lake could present as a safety hazard for not only the environment and it’s animal inhabitants but people who live in the surrounding area, too. It’s one thing to catch a small reservoir that if it broke lose the most would happen is it would temporarily flood the immediate area and cause no damage. It’s another thing entirely to have several 10- 20 foot dams that present a perceivably catastrophic impact on an environment. No Walden here. This guy was pushing the boundary on domestic relativism. Decision for the prosecution. NEXT case!

      Control of the pet population is a very seriou matter. There are too many dogs and cats. Here where I live they just let them loose in the woods when their 8 weeks old and worse. I could write volumes on the subjecy, since I a an animal advocate. The one issue that I definitely take stand against is BSL, breed specific legislation, where the government can come and seize your dog because it LOOKS like a pit bull even if it has done nothing wrong. Either that or you have to move to somewhere they are “allowed.”

        Pit bulls were bred to herd cattle. There genealogy predisposes them to lock and load on a target. It’s unfortunate this was not taken into consideration before trying to domesticate them. I do believe they should hold owners of these animals responsible for any damage they do to people. For example, when one of these dogs kills a child, the owner should be charged and prosecuted for 2nd degree murder. THAT will end the risk issue in connection to Pitt Bull ownership.

    It only seems plausible that the majority of the problems that we are facing today, in conjunction with our dwindling freedom, stems from well over a hundred years of social engineering. It’s traceable in a variety of directions, politically – ideologically – spiritually, as Bob has pointed out time after time. Yet still, the end result is that we are both much more so confronted with this problem on not only a national level but ever more so on a personal level – more than ever before. Even so, there remains a continuous lack of understanding, or agreement with, that we both have and are being played as nothing more than pawns.       uvuvuv, the majority of Americans neither need nor want the “protections” of the NDAA. It curtails the rights of American Citizens which the Constitution guaranteed to uphold. The Patriot Act also violates our Constitution. Both the Patriot Act and the NDAA need to be repealed. All Executive Orders should become null and void 90 days after being signed into law and cannot be renewed or extended except by being approved by both the House and Senate within the 90 day period.

        Executive Orders are binding only to the agencies under the Federal Government’s control. The President does not have Constitutional authority to pass laws by Executive Order. That is purely a usurpation of the President’s Power which we as Law Abiding citizens must not allow.
        Only Congress can legally pass laws.

    there is more freedom than ever. kids can swear at and punch their teachers and spend the day at school yelling and throwing things, and they can go on line in the library and look at teen porn tube videos. they can break windows. “he’s expressing himself.” reproductive dynamics are in high gear. the kids don’t have to go to the library to see the videos, the teachers show them in class. well maybe that statement is going too far, but if they have a curriculum that mandates 100 hours of sex education in a given school year, how else are they going to fill the time? there is freedom! another freedom, you can buy a $30,000 f-150 pick-up with gps and then to help with the payments, go to the food pantry! i stopped donating there when the vehicles got to be newer than mine. so far no one has tried to make me go back, so think of that freedom!

    We have only one-third of Mr Lincoln’s dictum: government of the people . Why not for the people? You call what’s being done in our name “for us”? Why not “by the people”?Because like unthinking addicts to government entitlements and other benefits we fail to act in our best interests and to elect to congress people who answer to us, not their own selfish interests.

      While the Federal Reserve Act violated the Constitution, it did not overturn it. The bankers’ takeover of our government’s finances is only one component in the loss of our personal freedoms.

      The real problem is that the PEOPLE (you, me, and our neighbors) have been very lax in enforcing the US Constitution and our state constitutions. (How many of you have even read your state’s constitution?) When a bureaucrat over-reaches, we should be calling our elected officials to complain ASAP. We must insist that our legislators be jealous of their law-making prerogatives and not cede them to executive agencies. Armen Kartvelian put up an excellent post on the subject while I was writing this.

      We need to rewrite our civil service laws. The original idea behind them was well-intentioned – to put the bureaucrats out of reach of political corruption. Unfortunately, the statutes have put them beyond reach of accountability also. Here are some ideas:

      > Institute term limits for officials who have the authority to approve or disapprove of administrative law charges or penalties. They cannot work in the same agency (meaning administration, agency or department) for more than six years once they attain that rank.
      > Ban the current administrative law system, and replace it with independent administrative law courts, complete with juries. If it is necessary to train the jurors in the specific rules before the trial, so be it. The present system gives an unelected bureaucrat total power – prosecutor, judge and executioner. The Civil Service Act lets him thumb his nose at agency heads appointed by the President. This is absolutely contrary to the principles of essential liberty.
      > All regulations must be approved by Congress, or at least by the Congressional Committee responsible for oversight of the agency. Additionally, every agency’s rule set must be reviewed in toto by Congress at least once every seven years. If Congress cannot make time for the periodic review, the agency is not important enough to keep and shall be closed and disbanded. Additionally, make sure there is a simple process for identifying and requiring the correction or elimination of rules that prove abusive in practice.
      > Set a threshold for the number of complaints of abuse or dereliction of duty for each individual office. If that threshold is exceeded, Congress (or the legislature) shall appoint an investigative committee to examine the complaints. If they are found to be valid, the persons responsible may be disciplined or discharged, and if appropriate referred to a grand jury for criminal investigation. If the complaint is of criminal abuse of power, the threshold is ONE.
      > Remove the group-specific limits on USC 18:232. The criminal penalty for violating Constitutional rights under color of law should apply in all cases, not just those involving discrimination by reason of skin color, religion, national origin, etc.

      Members of the European Parliament complain that it is a joke; the real power lies in the hands of the unelected and unaccountable Administrative State. We see the same problem developing here. It’s time for the people to reassert their authority.

        That could quite well happen this December as the FED’S 100 Year contract ends around the 20th of December 2012 as I recall.

        But, on the flip side that also means that the Person’s of the Corporation known as the United States still owe them about $16 Trillion dollars, of what they can demand payment on ASAP.

        As we have nothing left to give them as they own our land and homes, our farms, our citys, our water, our electric, our ARMYS & Navy units, etc.. as well all of what ever natural resources we have.

        So in conclusion we are up the creak with out any form of paddle.

        For you that can’t picture it, open up any book on WW II at the end of the war with the floods of Refugees pulling hand carts or with just the cloths on their backs, but saddly most in this nation have no place to go!

        TIME – First of all, we all need to get a different perspective.

        The adoption of the FED was a treasonous act on the part of the president and Congress. It is an overreach of our Constitution, which places all laws under the consent of the governed. I say that the act itself was fraudulent, a breach of trust on the part of the executive office, as the people had no knowledge nor understanding of what was done.

        Not only that, the FED has reaped wealth untold over the past century off the backs of the American people, who still had little or no understanding of what was being perpetrated upon us. Everything the FED has done has been done in deceit and fraud. Therefore, I maintain that, as we remove the fraudulent and illegitimate system which has usurped our republic, we are likewise released from the iron grip of the banksters upon our declaration of freedom. We need to just toss them out, like they did in Iceland.

        Sadly, the American people have displayed a great tolerance for illegitimacy in government, especially if they get something out of it. In fact, it’s the very way people are sold on accepting wrongful acts… by offering them something in exchange for tolerating violations of Law and intrusions of government. When they finally figure out the real agenda behind the “compassion”, it’s too late. The snare has been sprung.

        However, evil is never justifiable. What is conceived and perpetrated in evil should never be allowed to stand, and it is our right and our duty to expunge it. We’ve been bled and wrung out for far too long, have sacrificed too many of our children, and have had our dignity flung in our faces. I’d say any debt has been more than paid to these madmen. In fact, I’d say that the debt was illegitimate from the start, and all they have they have STOLEN from us.

        Kick the b*st*rds out. Lock them up. There are lots of FEMA camps ready to go. Let them rot until we figure out what to do with them. They are nothing but scum.

Laying waste to the 150 year assault on freedom will not come overnite and is likely a quest our grandchildren will still be engaged in.         Vicki – We don’t hear about it in our government media, but the whole world is fed up with the power structure of the banking cartels. There are forces at play as we speak to remove them from power. Their grip is tight, and it is an arduous process. They are having many of their funds cut off, and without the continual influx of $trillions they cannot continue to function.

        We WILL prevail, because we MUST prevail. Right now it is critical that people wake up and realize who’s been pulling the strings, and stop supporting them unknowingly by playing according to their manipulations.

However, freedom to the extents you describe would not be acceptable to most people as that much freedom is unknown and people fear the unknown. It would be unacceptable to all Governments as they would lose too much control over the people, which I think would be a good thing.

Starry eyed supporters, clapping cheering their anointed saviour. That is what people saw on the local news. What I witnessed seemed much different. Made me think of the very long road the Ron Paul/Gary Johnson people have in front of them. Looks to me as the propaganda is doing it’s job, heck I was one of them at one time long ago, Viet Nam changed that for me. Big guv looks firmly in place to me, what a shame.         Mike in NE – No matter how much the media overstates Obama’s support, there are those who say it’s a myth. He’s lost a great deal of his support. Even the poor have never had it so bad as they have under this bozo.

        We can take heart in knowing that the largest percentage of our military can’t stand him, and they are all about doing something about it. I heard from a militia briefing that Obama’s plan to create a false flag in October (to cancel the elections and declare martial law) have gotten him a stern warning from our military. They told him that if he dares try something like this, they will come and remove him from the WH in cuffs.

        I also learned that JFK forsaw this very thing happening to our country and had planned to make it all public. That’s why he was taken out. But what he did do was to draw up a plan for the military to follow should this very thing happen, and it directed the action of NCOs and enlisted men (he knew that when it did occur, the top brass would be part of it).

        The neat thing is that this plan has existed for all this time, and has been at work under the radar. They are working to restore our republic, and have been for a long time. They are on the move, and are on our side. We may or may not have a war in America, but we WILL throw the corrupt elite out. Some of them have already been arrested. The problem is finding a judge who is not bought and paid for…because so far the judges don’t allow the charges to stick. But it is just a matter of time…

        BTW, I don’t know if it’s true, but I heard that Nancy Pelosi was just arrested, and that she let loose with some very colorful and unladylike language toward the arresting officers… Wouldn’t you love to be a fly on the wall…

        Anyway, the word is that the elections will proceed, that Romney has come clean about some things, that Ron Paul may run as an Independent… but the main thing is that we throw Obama out at all costs.

        BTW, Obama has apparently just purchased a $35million estate in Hawaii, and the move-in date is January 2013. Draw your own conclusions here.

        I, Gene Hackemack, received this email from my good friend Tedd Petruna. He is, a diver at the NBL (Neutral Buoyancy Lab) facility at NASA Houston. I used to work with Tedd who happened to be on the AirTran Flight 297, from Atlanta to Houston.

        “One week ago, I went to Ohio on business and to see my father. On Tuesday, the 17th, I returned home. If you read the papers the 18th you may have seen a blurb about where an Air Tran flight was canceled from Atlanta to Houston due to a man who refused to get off of his cell phone before take- off.. The story was only on Fox News. That was NOT what really happened.

        I was seated in 1st class coming home. Eleven Muslim men got on the plane in full Muslim attire. Two of them sat in 1st class and the rest seated themselves throughout the plane, in coach class, all the way to the back. As the plane taxied out to the runway, the stewardesses gave the safety spiel that we are all so familiar with.

        At that time, one of the men, in 1st class, got on his cell and called one of his companions back in coach. He proceeded to talk on the phone in Arabic very loudly and very, very aggressively. This activity took the 1st stewardess out of action for she repeatedly told the man that cell phones were not permitted at that time. He ignored her as if she were not there. The man, who answered the phone back in the coach
        section, did the same and this took out the 2nd stewardess. Further back in the plane, at the same time, two younger Muslims, one in the back on the aisle, and one sitting in front of him by the window, began to show footage of a porno video they had taped the night before. They were very loud about it.

        Now, Muslim men are only permitted to view porno women prior to Jihad. If a Muslim man goes into a strip club, he has to view the woman via mirror with his back to her. (Don’t ask me, I don’t make the rules, but I’ve studied Muslims.)

        The 3rd stewardess informed the two men that they were not to have electronic devices on at this time.

        One of the men said “shut up infidel dog!”

        The stewardess attempted to take the camcorder and the Muslim began to scream in her face in Arabic. At that exact moment, all eleven of the men got up and started to walk throughout the cabin. I guess that because of the noise, the flight crew must have decided that there was something amiss and changed the plane’s directions to head back to the terminal.

        The commotion and noise was reaching a feverish pitch, and at this point I had had enough! I got up and started towards the back of 1st class, when I heard a voice behind me, from another Texan twice my size, say “I got your back.” Then I grabbed the man, who had been on the cell phone, by the arm and said “You WILL sit down in your seat or you WILL be thrown from this plane!” As I “led” him around me to take his seat, the fellow Texan grabbed him by the back of his neck and his waist and headed him back to his seat. I then grabbed the 2nd man and said, “You WILL do the same!”

        He protested loudly, but my adrenaline was flowing now and he was going to go also. Just as I escorted him forward, the plane stopped, the doors opened and three TSA agents and four police officers entered the cabin. Myself and my new Texas friend were told to cease and desist for they had the situation under control.

        I was quite happy to oblige actually. There was still some sort of commotion in the back, but within moments, all eleven Muslim men were escorted off the plane. The TSA agents then had their luggage unloaded. We talked about the occurrence and were in disbelief that it had happened.

        Then suddenly, the door opened again and in walked all eleven Muslim men! Stone faced, eyes front and robotic, (the only way I can describe it) they were reseated. The stewardess from the back had been in tears and when she saw the men, she was having NONE of it! Since I was up front, I heard and saw the whole ordeal. She told the TSA agents that there was NO WAY she was staying on the plane with the Muslim men.

        The agent told her that they had searched the men and were going through their luggage with a fine tooth comb. However, nothing had been found and that the men were allowed to proceed on to Houston.

        The captain and co-captain came out of the cockpit and told the agent, “We and our crew will not fly this plane!” After a word or two, the entire crew, luggage in tow, left the plane. Five minutes later, the cabin door opened again and a whole new crew walked on. Again, this was where I had had enough! I got up and asked the TSA agent, “What the hell is going on?

        I was told to take my seat. The airlines and TSA were sorry for the delay and we would be home shortly. I said “I’m getting off this plane”. The stewardess sternly told me that she could not allow me to get off. Now I’m really mad! I said “I am a grown man who bought this ticket, who’s time is mine with a family at home and I am going through
        that door, or I’m going through that door with you under my arm, but I AM going through that door!”

        And then I heard a voice behind me say “So am I!” Then everyone behind us started to get up and say the same thing. Within two minutes, I was walking off that plane where I was met by more TSA agents who asked me to write a statement about the incident. I had five hours to kill at this point waiting for the next flight to Houston, so why the hell not give them my statement. Due to the amount of people who got off that flight, it was canceled. I was supposed to be in Houston at 6 PM, but I finally got there at 12:30 AM. If you don’t believe this, look up the date and then Flight 297 from Atlanta to Houston.

        If this wasn’t a terrorism dry run, I don’t know what one is. The terrorists wanted to see how TSA would handle it, how the crew would handle it, and how the passengers would handle it. I’m telling this to you because I want you to know. The threat IS real. I saw it with my own eyes.”

        I’m an American and I love my country. She’s amazing. She means so many things to so many different people and as is her people…she’s a blend of it all.         I have spent a lot of time in Islamic countries working for a government agency. It is disconcerting to see signs in major mosques where the “religion of peace” is being taught while displaying huge signs that say “Death to Israel” and “Death to America”.

        The “moderate” Muslim majority says nothing.

        An important Muslim official once told me that part of their plan is to out breed the West. The average Muslim family has six kids while most in the West have one or two. He laid out the numbers and they are indeed sobering. In 20 years or so they will have the majority of the world’s people.

        We should stop issuing visas to allow them from coming into the US unless they bring something of REAL value in their occupation. How may more cab drivers named Mustafa or Mohammed do we need? (Been in New York City lately?)

        You are right. Jesus said “My kingdom is no part of this world.” He did not get involved in politics. When they wanted to make him king, he disappeared. Why? Because the rulerships of men are all influenced by unseen evil elements. After Jesus was baptized, Luke 4:5-8 records that Satan the Devil offered him authority over all the earthly kingdoms or governments. Jesus declined. Satan is the unseen ruler of this world. From the garden of Eden he has contended that he was a better ruler than God. God has granted him these thousands of years to prove what kind or world he would produce. WELL, YOU SEE IT NOW!.         Very well stated, Vigilant. The Constitution was written by men, and should not be made into a false god. It is, rather, an acknowledgment that our liberty is derived from our Creator and takes usurpation by man out of the equation.

        There is, actually, a Church of the Constitution now, believe it or not. It’s founder is David Lory Van derBeek, who is actually a Mormon. I don’t know a lot about it, but my first response to such a church was that it is missing the mark.

        People in government aren’t rewriting history. The families who control things behind the scenes have been at work for centuries. They have been behind all wars, instigating them and financing them on both sides. They were behind the NAZIs. They have many factions.

        They own the media and the education system. They own the medical system. They own our government, and many others, right down to states and localities now. They’ve been working to put their people in governments, NGAs and all institutions. The countries who try to remain sovereign get blamed for some false flag and we go to war against them, toppling their leaders.

        Now, as far as history, they own the people who write the textbooks. Think about it. They wait until those old enough to remember what REALLY happened are dead, and then they alter it. My dad fought in WWII, and I was born soon after. I knew many people who lived through it. Most of those people are gone now.

        So, those who are now charged with history weren’t there, and don’t know anyone who was. Even if they are, perhaps, not intending to rewrite it, they don’t know any different. Just look at how many are trying to tell us that the holocaust didn’t happen. I knew a man who still bore the tatoos from the concentration camp.

        We didn’t know that it was a contrived war, but we knew what was happening. Now, since the people coming of age are clueless, it’s easy to teach a version of history which supports their agenda. Communism has always been a horrendous, enslaving, murderous system. People are not allowed to speak, or even think, freely. And technologies now allow the elite much more control over these things than ever before.

        In Soviet Russia, anyone who made so much as a statement of dissent against the regime was arrested and disappeared. They were declared to be “mentally ill”. This is beginning to happen here, especially among our war vets. Conservatives are being targeted.

      Excellent article Bob Livington. I agree wholeheartedly with the points that you brought up. Unfortately, we have some that wish to divide conservatives by bringing up in such a way, the differences between us. Instead of those beliefs that we agree. A perfect example would be your spouse, your three best friends and then our most trusted co-worker or boss / employee. Is there actually someone that will state that those that we are closes to, are actually clone or carbon copy of our own beliefs? Not so. Not happening. We all bring differences to the table, but its the similarites that determine whether we are on the same team, or on the opposition.

      We need to work on coming together. For divided, we lose. The bad guys win.

      One final point. How many of us agree 100% with the stances we took 15 years ago? Ok, that was unfair. How many of us agree 90% on all issues with what we believed 15 years ago. While we may have been conservative 15 years ago. I know I was. Are we the same in belief over each and every facet of political, social thought as then?

      Nope.

      Bob L, You list many examples of our lost freedom and you are correct about that. The important thing you left out is that we don’t really have any say in who our President is (and only a little influence on other federal positions). I was involved with the Republican party from precinct caucus (votes counted in back room with no discussion), county caucus (only precinct committeeman/woman could vote unless they didn’t show and an alternate got in), staste caucus (Republican leaders cast illegal votes and tried to blame extra votes on the unapproved candidate, Ron Paul), and the national convention (elected delegates removed, rules broken & changed, and votes ignored if they didn’t follow the teleprompter). My understanding is that the Democrats were just as bad at ignoring the votes. Our vote doesn’t matter anymore in the election of the president. Most Americans still think their vote counts, but it is a mirage. I saw it all first hand.

      One of the many Big Lies the Left uses is the phrase “separation of church and state”, which appears nowhere in the Constitution. What the First Amendment prohibits is the establishment of a state-sponsored religion. Now, for you anti-God zealots, the epitomy of intolerance, whilst you stamp out any reference to God (all in the name of “separation of church and state”) you are mandating a state-sponsored religion- atheism.

        That’s a good point! In the US it’s a ratio that’s largely controlled by the 1st Amendment. I wonder if in redefining the 1st Amendment they aren’t actually trying to grease the chute for prescriptive justification to loft their coveted occult protocol making live human sacrifice a mainstream activity rather than delegating this activity to the Black Mass only?
