brian, i think your assessment is good, yet, for some reason i don’t think a lot of people on unemployment checks are going to vote for the same, those checks will stop coming after awhile. i didn’t hear romney say he was going to do away with their benefits, he said he was going to replace their welfare with jobs.this will probably cause trauma to the ones addicted by welfare, it will be good for those seeking to better themselves.
we cannot afford this administration any longer, we cannot afford michelle obama. send them packing in november. i would like to be part of the aloha crowd when they depart without air force one.

Thanks Chuck, you’re right of course about the jobs, I guess my fear is that Obama will lie about what Romney-Ryan will do with welfare payments, just like he has lied about so many other things. He is after all a “serial liar”, that’s how he got elected in 2008, aided and abetted by a corrupted left wing mainstream press. Standing and cheering their departure in, what? – a DC3 or the like, will be one of the finest days in U.S. history, it will surpass the exit of “Trickie Dickie”. With experience he has gained at great expense (thanks Michelle) to U.S. taxpayers, he just might make a better “community organizer” on the south side of Chicago, if they’ll have him back.

Gee, won’t it be wonderful if Romney gets elected and makes all these jobs magically appear? I have heard no substance to back up his claims of creating jobs. Anybody can say that to win votes. In his speech he said it would be 12 million jobs. Quite a claim (lie).

Lots of small business owners would love to creat new jobs but are put off by Obamacare, all the costs and regulations…so it’s a two-step process…get rid of Obama and then repeal Obamacare. In addition, Romney has said he will open the keystone pipeline project, making sure the oil flows to the US and not China, which will creat 25,000 new jobs. Romney wasn’t my first choice…but we need Obama out. Go see 2016 Obama.

The critical issue to ponder is – even though millions are receiving “food stamps”, durational unemployment benefits and other government payments because of an Obama weakened economy, are they likely to vote for (trust) a candidate who is in favor of reducing such benefits? Does the risk of receiving less government aid offset the risk that the economy doesn’t improve substantially? Given the socioeconomic status of these people and their stressed state of mind, Romney and Ryan will need to be very careful in how they elucidate their plan and its timing, for this sought-after confidence (votes) in their economic recovery plan, could prove to be the all important turning point in this election as it comes down to the wire. It’s somewhat ironic that the world’s most notable presidential election could be decided by one outrageous socioeconomic issue – “food stamps”. It’s a humanity issue, that’s why it’s going to be one of the closest elections in U.S. history – but there is only one coherent and responsible answer – Romney-Ryan, and I have to believe that common sense will prevail, the alternative – four more years of the same, is just too horrendous to contemplate. God bless America. I would like to say goddamn Obama, but then that would be taking a leaf out of his vile little pastor/mentor, Wright, right?

I also agree with MNice, Donna, and Big Easy, etc., and thought everything that needed to be said or pointed out during the convention was done well. It just goes to show you that certain people hear only what they want to hear, but we heard it because we are more in tune with real reality. The reality is, that Democrats, like Bill Clinton, have hurt our country so badly, but people turn their heads the other way. Clinton is the one who signed in the “Cloward-Piven Strategy” which suggests he is a very wayward soul with no shame, who sides with a Muslim agenda, as I believe those who helped create the Cloward-Piven Strategy were Muslims from Pakistan, the supporters of Al Queda. He also did away with the laws that protected us after the last great depression, which after he did away with them, enabled the corruption that we have witnessed with Wall Street and large corporations. I googled Prince Charles of England fifteen years ago and learned he took a Muslim name when he visited Iran. I looked last week and it is no longer there, now it just says he studies Islam. But we do know that Prince Charles has financed many Mosques in many non-Muslim countries. I have studied Islam in depth and have learned the Muslim mindset, and what their agenda is. Also, our local newspaper told us five years ago, that the U.S. had a quota to follow through on, to import 38,000 Muslims per month from the Islamic countries into the U.S. This is very dangerous, since most of these are anti-American. We know that Obama should have never been in the White House, as he has failed to provide enough documentation of his past, and all of his records are sealed still to this day, if there really are any, yet Democrats cry that Romney needs to show more, when he has already shown more than Obama has. Obama used two social security numbers, and got away with using two different names with two different identity numbers, yet he was not charged. And Michelle, who sits in our White House as the president’s wife was told she had to step down from the Legal Bar Association, I have to do more research on that. I Googled http://www.WasObamaBornInKenya.com, and I do believe that he was truly born there in Kenya. Anyone in America can get a “Live Birth” certificate for a child, but that doesn’t mean they were actually born in the U.S. Many people have lied doing it, and there is lots of proof of that. We just have some very wayward people in high places that are getting away with a whole lot of evil that they should be definitely stopped from being permitted to continue. I feel the Democrat agenda has been to take America down and hand it over to a Muslim regime. It’s too bad the ignorant masses can’t see it. If Prince Charles is at the head of all of this, I feel sorry for him come Judgement Day. I believe the twin towers were attacked by Muslim Americans who were sending us a message that they are going to take over. Our ex-CIA director at the time was a Muslim, who is now the head of the ground zero mosque in New York. Obama’s faith advisor is a Muslim who has connections to Islamic organizations. Hillary’s secretary is Muslim, who has been connected to Islamic organizations. I had a dream the other night that Hillary’s name will change, not in its appearance, but in its meaning. All you have to do is cross the first L and take away the Y. What more will it take to get people to see what is really happening in America? Hitler was best friends with Muslims, who hated Christians and Jews. I can’t understand why anybody would want our country to go that direction. Most Islamic countries do not offer freedom to their people, just oppression, especially for women. Some Islamic countries still practice slavery. In Pakistan, an average of two women every single day die of so-called honor killings. It’s Satan’s rule of law. My uncle was living in Iraq back in the 1970′s running the oil fields, and he saw what was going on – everything. The day came when he and his wife literally had to flee Iraq. Saddam was literally trying to take over Kuwait, and he killed thousands of innocent beings in his own country, which I believe should be considered a genocide. We did need to go into Iraq to get this Hitler-wanna-be who cared less about human rights or life, just like we needed to get Osama for what he was doing. He was another Hitler-wanna-be But our problem isn’t over yet, as we still have people with the exact same mindset right here in the U.S. I do not feel it is racist for wanting to protect our livelihoods, our freedom, and our lives. This is a very serious problem we are now going to have if Obama gets another four years. We have Islamic schools right here on our soil that teach hate – they are more racist than anyone on the face of this planet, and they teach death to Americans and Christians. I know that Clinton needed to do something then, but he didn’t, so Bush had to – it was the right thing to do. Clinton didn’t do anything to help the Tutsi’s when they were genocided in 1994 in Rwanda. I believe there were several genocides under Clinton’s watch as President of the United States, and now more are taking place under Obama’s watch. It has become Satan’s playground again. Nobody should knock Bush for going into Iran because Saddam Hussein was a very bad man and he did need to be stopped. I do not believe Obama or Clinton’s have our best interests in their agenda, because if they did, the Cloward-Pivan Strategy wouldn’t have been introduced, and Global Warming would have been seen as the events that are taking place out in space which cause our planet to heat and cool. All the lies and corruption. I do not see any sign in my community that things are getting better. Food and gas prices and water and city taxes are definitely going up yet our paychecks seem to be getting smaller. My husband’s company is talking about closing their doors. There are still so many businesses that are not making it, only the union companies that Obama supports, because this is a communist style agenda, which is all that he knows. Yet people think they want him to be their president. He hasn’t been that great. He’s an over-paid smooth-talker who has been hired to appear he’s doing something constructive, while in reality, he’s waiting for the organized army he’s preparing – that he actually talked about early on in his campaign – gets organized enough that he can pull off a Hilter assault on America. He has put out several executive orders too, and has gone past his authority bypassing congressional approval on many issues – proving his dictatorship desires. This is what he was groomed to do folks. And as time goes on, it will become clearer and clearer that he is in a hurry to obtain totalitarian dictatorship authority of our country. Start reading between the lines people. Its there. Unfortunately its taking place with the name “Democrat.” behind it. I don’t have anything against Democrats as individuals, it’s just that they are the one’s driving this to take place quicker, along with some Republicans who are just as much in the dark. I know what is currently taking place is certainly not for a better America for we the people, it is certainly not to create jobs for the American people, or help them get better wages to keep up with the climbing prices we are seeing. I do believe their agenda is to put their choice of people in our place and the change Obama was promising was to end America as we know it. Obamacare is not about healthcare, it’s about control – take a look at all the Capps Bills included in it. It will cost Americans billions, and it will not take care of them at all. One other thing I destest, is the idea that my tax dollars that I will be forced to pay the Obama government, will put blood stains on my hands (on all our hands) because it will go to pay for abortions. This is Satan’s rule of law, not God’s. Killing God’s most precious creation – human life – will never be forgiven, no matter what form or reason it is done in. Muslims don’t believe in that rule of law – they love to kill – even their own. There’s a ton of more things I could elaborate on, but don’t have the time. I do believe the Romney administration will be way better for us and our future.

Boy, OH Boy,…. at least we have 2 that aren’t real bright on here….that is why the country is in such a mess! They say Romney and Ryan will cut MEDICARE. Obama has already gutted MEDICARE to the tune of 750 BILLION dollars and people don’t see it. I am on MEDICARE and have been getting some minor surgery done 2 or 3 times a year which was a $20 co-pay and is now that plus $130.. When I started MEDICARE 2 years ago it was $10. I have talked to several on MEDICARE who have ALREADY HAD THINGS TURNED DOWN. They say the death panels aren’t true….well they are. I have spoken to my doctor about it….she says the regulations under the OBAMACARE mess are unbelievable. She said they know you are in the office right now. The sad thing about OBAMACARE is……it is not about HEALTH CARE IT IS ABOUT CONTROL. The word TAX is metioned 75 times in it. There is a Real Estate TAX in it…if you sell your house you are taxed an extra I believe it is 4 %. They have hidden so much TAX crap in there and other control things. OH I FORGOT MEDICARE WILL GO UP TO $120 SOMETHING NEXT JANUARY (WHAT THEY TAKE OUT OF THE SOCIAL SECUITY CHECK….THEN THE FOLLOWING JANUARY 2014 IT DOUBLES AND…………………ROMNEY AND RYAN ARE GOING TO RUIN MEDICARE……NO OBAMACARE HAS ALREADY RUINED IT………..NO ONE ELSE COULD DO MORE DAMAGE TO IT. MEDICARE ADVANTAGE WAS GREAT IF THEY HAD LEFT IT ALONE. Lets go back to the CONSTITUTION AND THE WAY IT SHOULD BE.

Donna – I agree with you on the supplement issue. I sign every petition and keep sending letters to my congressmen when I get notifications from Alliance for Natural Health. More people need to support organizations like it that are battling for health freedom. Thus far, they have been very productive. I’ve been following this issue for 11 years; and thank goodness our gov. hasn’t followed Europe’s war on supplements. Here is their link

I am very fortunate to have taken care of my own health for years, despite having Hepatitis C and am very healthy. I reached 65 this year and am on Medicare. I only go to the doctor for injuries and yearly bloodwork. I didn’t even want Medicare B but was told I would be penalized if I decided to get it later. Fortunately, at this time my income(SS) is at or below poverty level, so the State of SC is paying for it. I vow not t o even use it. There would be no healthcare problems if people were taught at an early age how to take care of their health or if they used their own brains and learned about prevention via natural healthcare

i don’t think you are a real conservative. A real conservative thinks, learns, explains and teaches with logical arguments. A real conservative does not need to engage in blustering, hate-filled ad hominem attacks because he has the facts on his side. karolyn is right in labeling what you have written as insanity, but wrong in identifying it as conservative or typical of conservative talk radio.

The conservative talk radio programs I’ve listened to present viewpoints based on historical and present reality. The hosts of these programs do not engage in personal slander, but if they see a character flaw based on the evidence, such as dishonesty, they will point it out. This is not “hate,” it is the reporting of facts.

A slight misdiagnosis of the criticism here Johnny. The idea of a reasonable stimulus fund is a sound one! The goal of Stimulus spending should be to save the largest number of businesses, and therefore jobs, as possible, with the least amount of money. In other words those most likely to survive the crisis!
Obama didn’t do that! Instead he spent the limited resources on attempting to save companies that lose money even in a healthy economy! This was simply his excuse, to pander to his own personal philosophy of “Green Energy”
Stimulus resources should be dispenced in the same fashion as medical resources are dispenced during a disaster response, through aTriage System, after all stimulus is Triage for an Economy!

The Democrats in the Senate used the filibuster threat during George Bush’s term to block spending cuts – many times. 3. The Constitution gives the responsibility and authority for controlling every penny that is spent to the House of Representatives, not Mr. Obama. The people gave control of the House of Representatives to the Republicans in 2010 because the Democrats were irresponsible and abused their power, especially when they passed Obamacare without reading the bill. That means, yes, the Republican majority is now responsible for the spending. Believe it or not, they have actually cut spending on Defense by $32 billion. Likewise, when the nation is in an economic downturn, it is foolish to increase taxes. Scattering newly printed money with no backing all over the landscape is not “stimulating the economy,” it’s inflation. I believe the GOP did a great job showing the Americans what the Republican platform for candidates Romney & Ryan will be for 2012. All the speakers in the whole convention showed compassion, struggles and success in their trials of life, and convictions or family and faith. They stood for Freedom, Liberty and Rights granted by God. They showed that they are inclusive of all races, male or female. The were all very transparent in their life stories of where they were born, where they grew up, went to school, and how they came to be in service to our country. They all were humble. They all showed REAL leadership and conviction to fix the broken parts of America even if it is not popular, but is the right thing to do. Romney gave a short four or five point list at the end of his speech: ECONOMY and JOBS: fix tax code & lower taxes, change business regulations for small businesses and big ones to come back home again to make jobs, have fair trade agreements, become energy independent with production in oil, gas and coal, repeal obamacare and come up with a better solution that doesn’t tax and penalize and really lowers health ins, but not care.
The Republican Party is being guided by the Tea Party (sm gov, low taxes, no debt, Constitution) and we are trying to throw out RINOS and Establishment Reps and Crony Capiitalists… trying to improve.
The Democrat Party is being guided by the Socialists (81 in Congress all Demos) and they have lost their Moderate Blue Dogs… getting worse.
Romney can get more specific (in his speeches on the campaign and) at the State of the Union Address.

Voting for Obama will in fact show that they want government to control their bodies what with Obama care and forced labor to pay for all those spending programs. Do you Bible thumpers ever stop to think that GOD wanted Obama for President or he would not have allowed him to be. It seems you give credit to God for only the things you like or agree with. And when you do not like the outcome, you blame Satan for the influence or call it punishment from GOD. You all need to take a hard look at the Bible and the religious leaders who fill your heads with all that crap. If you really believe in God then you really believe “he” is all powerful, can work miracles and do anything he wants. So please tell me how a good, just, loving, God lets good people be harmed, storms destroy homes, disease and accidents take small children and good Christians before they have had a long life? Where is the logic that God will punish innocent people to teach the rest of us sinners some kind of lesson which is nothing but a fear tactic to make us afraid to question our blind faith in a God that we cannot see or there is no proof of. It is odd how we demand proof for other things in our lives. I am not saying there is no GOD because there is no way I can absolutely know that for sure. It is indeed a mystery how something so unique can be formed when we look at the human body and the beauty of the world. Just because it is hard to get our minds around all that, it does not mean it could not have been evolution. Even though the explaination is there, it is still difficult for me to understand how huge, heavy, airplanes stay up in the air. Both Obama and Romney claim to have a religious preference and if they are wise, they will not make an issue of it because they both represent a diverse nation and to show favortism to one religion would be a disservice to those who do not share their beliefs. That is the reason religion should not be a part of the political arena. Our laws should not be made on religious beliefs. By the way, women cannot make their destiny when religion influences the laws that would allow them to make their own choices about their lives and their bodies. I am sure men would be up in arms if they were told the goverment wanted to controll their rights in the same way women are being threatened by the Republican Tea Party extremeist. It is so easy to prove all the lies that Romney and Ryan told about Obama during the Convention. If you do not want to believe them then just continue with yur blind faith and do not be surprised when it all backfires if Romney is elected.
