Gunning For Tyranny

Gunning For Tyranny

Your current magazines are “grandfathered in.”

Late last week, as Democrats and their media minions jockeyed for position at the front of the macabre post-Aurora-massacre line of people who reflexively oppose the Bill of Rights, Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) grabbed his moment in the glare. It’s well known that the space between Schumer and a working camera is far more dangerous than any place frequented by people with firearms, and Schumer’s latest publicly expressed folly was hardly surprising under the circumstances. A tragedy had occurred; and come hell or high water, Schumer was loath to miss a chance to use the coffins of the victims as a soapbox for yet another mind-numbing liberal pronouncement on the dangers of law-abiding citizens owning firearms. Worse yet, Schumer and a number of his fellow Senators were loath to miss an opportunity to force their anti-Constitutional criteria on a citizenry already suffering their presence in the halls of Congress.

Thus did Schumer proclaim:

(The) basic complaint is that the Chuck Schumers of the world want to take away your guns. I think it would be smart for those of us who want rational gun control to make it known that that’s not true at all.

Personally, I think it would be smart for all of us to recognize that the Chuck Schumers of the world have hardly hidden their desire to take away our guns. In fact, the Chuck Schumers of the world are joined by Senators Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.), Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) of the world, among others. And they are backed by the Brady Campaign and fellow fringe anti-Bill of Rights groups in their endeavors. That’s how the Chuck Schumers of the world get away with remarks like “rational gun control” while pushing for anything but.

While Schumer took to the floor to once again rail against things he doesn’t understand (which is hardly uncommon), he did so in an effort to throw a rhetorical blanket over an offensively secretive plan to do far more than simply abrogate the right to keep and bear arms. Following the Senate approval for amendments of the abominably invasive Cybersecurity Act of 2012 (itself a redressed version of the similarly appalling Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act, which Representative Ron Paul rightly identified as “Big Brother writ large”), Schumer and his friends pulled a fast one. They tacked an amendment onto the bill which might as well be known as the “Aurora Amendment.” Rather than try to take on the 2nd Amendment from the front, Schumer and his accomplices pinned their pusillanimous program to ban everything north of your daughter’s pink .22 Crickett onto the Federal cyberspying bill.

If Schumer, et al.’s S.A. 2575 seems familiar to observers of dastardly Democrat deeds, that’s because it is essentially a backdoor attempt to reintroduce the infamous “assault weapons ban” of years past. The new amendment is, in fact, virtually identical to the gun-ban bill introduced by Lautenberg. Feinstein sponsored the assault weapons ban, which expired in 2004. S.A. 2575 would, without a separate vote, “make it illegal to transfer or possess large capacity feeding devices such as gun magazines, belts, feed stripes and drums of more than 10 rounds of ammunition with the exception of .22 caliber rim fire ammunition,” according to The Hill. It’s worth noting that your current magazines, whether they be the 30-rounders most of us use for our ARs or one of those unwieldy 31 round monsters the Koreans make for the Glock 22 .40 caliber, are “grandfathered in.”

Before you panic and open a new tab on your browser so you can begin ordering replacement magazines for your AR-15, keep in mind that the bill still has to pass the Senate. That means the Senate will actually have to do something proactive — not exactly a strong suit under the listless leadership of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.). And even if it does manage to make its way out of that wrinkled group, it’s as likely to pass the House as Chuck Schumer is to win the next 3-gun match at the local range.

The real problem with Schumer’s latest attempted abrogation of our Constitutionally protected rights — his protestations to the contrary be damned — is the same one that has plagued the Nation for decades: The basic premise of gun-ban proponents is fatally flawed. While liberals would ultimately prefer to relieve us all of our weapons, they know that will fly like a stone kite. So they try their usual incrementalist tack. They can’t get the guns, so they’ll limit the magazine capacity.

(Author’s aside: Stop saying “clips.” They’re not clips; they’re magazines. Your use of inaccurate descriptives reveals much more about you than it does about your intended targets. Likewise, weapons like my AR and my 1911 are not “automatic,” they’re semi-automatic: one round per trigger pull. Fully automatic weapons have been illegal in the United States without specialized permits since the early 1930s. Your argument might resonate more if you sounded even vaguely like you knew what the hell you were talking about. Imagine how you would feel if a conservative suggested cutting off taxpayer funding for the liberal twaddle on PBS with references to “Oliver the Grouch” on “Sesame Lane.”)

Some of Schumer’s carrion-feeding compatriots have even attempted to point to Aurora, Colo., suspect James Holmes’s ownership of a 100-round drum as proof of the need to limit magazine capacity. That argument falls apart fairly quickly when you realize the magazine wasn’t used during the shooting. The shooter didn’t need it; he had the advantage of knowing that anti-Bill of Rights activists like Schumer had already disarmed his victims through draconian restrictions that disallow any carry inside the Aurora city limits. It’s also worth noting that anyone who has tried to fire an AR with a 100-round drum magazine has recognized fairly quickly that it’s a fairly miserable experience — and that’s just the drudgery of loading the magazine itself.

For his part, Schumer added another amendment to his defense of the indefensible, suggesting:

We can debate where to draw the line of reasonableness, but we might be able to come to an agreement in the middle…Maybe, maybe, maybe we can pass some laws that might, might, might stop some of the unnecessary casualties.

Pardon my saying so, Senator, but the moment you and your cabal of Brady-backed gun grabbers began discussing limiting my Constitutional rights, you put “reasonableness (sic)” in the rearview mirror. There is absolutely nothing reasonable about agreeing to abrogate the Bill of Rights. There is no middle ground. And perhaps if people like you didn’t consistently focus on guns as opposed to criminals who misuse them, we “might, might, might stop some of the unnecessary casualties.” My suggestion is to arrest the Attorney General. At the very least, you’d be sending a strong message that arming homicidal narcoterrorists is generally frowned upon.

And once anyone offers Schumer and the Democrats “an agreement in the middle,” where does that leave the end? Should we agree to “the middle” on free speech? Perhaps allow some quartering of troops in our homes, but only squad-sized or smaller? Possibly we could compromise on… Come to think of it, the Federal government has already made a practice of doing everything to the Bill of Rights besides murdering it and burying it in Schumer’s backyard. Anyone who has watched as Transportation Security Administration agents have searched a handicapped person’s colostomy bag for explosives can testify that the 4th Amendment is certainly on life support, if it isn’t dead already.

Democratic attempts to institute limitations on the Bill of Rights routinely devolve into the dangerous or the absurd — as often as not, both. S.A. 2575 will have precisely the same prophylactic effect on violent crime as Aurora’s ban: none, at best. Meanwhile, the liberal arguments backing Schumer border on the absurd. Of course the Framers of the Constitution lived in a world with flintlocks and the like. Lest anyone stand on that wobbly rhetorical table, imagine the Framers’ reaction to the liberal argument in favor of Constitutionally protected partial-birth abortion.

The late, great Senator Barry Goldwater (R-Ariz.) said “extremism in the defense of liberty is no vice.” He was right. But defending liberty against the encroachment of people like Schumer is anything but extreme.

Why did the Republican congress let this pass? They knew it was attached, where were they?

    • DaveH

Most of the Republicans are Progressives. They want Power as much as the Democrat Leaders do. Their agenda is slightly different, but they serve many of the same Crony Capitalists.

    • CZ52

I do not think it has actually passed the Senate yet. It is out of commitee and ready to be brought up in the Senate proper. Hopefully some responsible Senators will filibuster it when it comes to the floor.

I will die on my feet rather than live on my knees. What better way to honor our great country than by giving your life defending it against the foul, filth that are subverting it. A far worse enamey than Hitler ever was

  • malcolm7173

We must not let this happen. Screw the Cyber Security Act of 2012 and all amendments thereto including specifically SA 2575. Call everyone in Washington, DC and tell them what going to happen if SA 2575 passes. We need to hold everyone that vote for this by name responsible.

  • Mark

It’s too bad that the representatives of this one state seem to demand that the entire country adhere to the multitude of ridiculous laws and rules implemented there just for the drones who keep re electing these arrogant self serving a-holes!

Despite a century of failure associated with the Sullivan Act – New York’s idiotic gun ban law – these politicians continue to push for more restrictive gun laws.

Sound statistical analyses have shown that gun ownership by law-abiding citizens is an effective anti-crime measure. Of course, these politicians are not interested in the truth.

The so-called Assault Weapons ban under Clinton, which had a sunset date, could not be defended statistically. Violent crime, particularly gun crime, actually increased during the ten-year period that the ban was in effect. The ban was therefore not extended.

Yet here is Schumer, who obviously knows better than reality, once again trying to impose a ban and waste taxpayer money enforcing it while giving the appearance of doing something positive about crime; the facts show that he is really increasing violent crime by disarming the non-criminals.

But, as I stated above, Schumer doesn’t really care for the truth. He’s more interested in perpetuating his easy job in Congress, the worm.

  • Charles Calhoun

Chuck Shumer has a carry permit in NYC. Bet the law would not apply to Congress.

You do realize that wealthy people, big businesses and corporations who have BOUGHT and STOLEN your government are the ones who are making all of the laws (through ALEC) and driving the agenda not just in the Federal but in all of the states.

So while you were/are diligently focused on the fear of losing your guns ( like that’s ever going to happen) you’ve let them take away all of your civil rights and pick all of your pockets unopposed.

    Brilliant

    • DaveH

You do realize that the Leaders are complicit in those actions, and that without them the Crony Capitalists would be Powerless? You do realize that as Government Grows, Corruption Flows?
Yet, you Progressives continue to enable that ever-larger Government that is “picking our pockets”.
      Brilliant.

      • Richard

Yes i agree , but it still fulls in the hands of this government to do the right thing….

      • DaveH

The right thing would be this:
“We hold that all individuals have the right to exercise sole dominion over their own lives, and have the right to live in whatever manner they choose, so long as they do not forcibly interfere with the equal right of others to live in whatever manner they choose”.
        From the Libertarian Platform.

      • mark

No, I disagree. Very wealthy capitalists, even the non-crony kind (very few of these exist), still exert disproportionate political influence that undermines our republic. This is why the whole Progressive movement started. In the late 19th century the most powerful men in the country, Rockefeller, Carnegie, Dupont, Vanderbilt, etc. were all unelected but weilded more economic and political influence than the Presidents and Congresses of the day. They bought and sold them like so much candy as they stll do to this day. Gigantic Capitalism is a much graver threat to our republic than Big Government. Big Government is simply the paid servant of Giant Capitalism. You are completely missing the whole root of the problem – not Mom-and-Pop capitalism that is dying out or struggling – but Gigantic, global corporate capitalism that rules the world.

      • DaveH

        Mark,
You are so far off base that it’s downright pitiful.
The Progressive Movement WAS the Crony Capitalists and their Crony Politicians. They just have the rest of you Progressive Followers fooled.
You’ve been here long enough to know better, Mark. Without the aid of Government regulations, subsidies, etc., they would be powerless to do anything but please their consumers.
        http://mises.org/daily/1259
        From the article:
“In recent years, however, historians have come to see that increasing statism on a federal and state level can be better interpreted as a profitable alliance between certain business and industrial interests, looking for government to cartelize their industry after private efforts for cartels and monopoly had failed, and intellectuals, academics, and technocrats seeking jobs to help regulate and plan the economy as well as restriction of entry into their professions. In short, the Progressive Era re-created the age-old alliance between Big Government, large business firms, and opinion-molding intellectuals—an alliance that had most recently been embodied in the mercantilist system of the sixteenth through eighteenth centuries”.

Now that, Eric, is a true statement. Which means, that Obama is their complicit-obedient-puppet. I can’t believe i’m saying this, but Eric is correct for once.

      • DaveH

No, Eric is incorrect. The Crony Capitalists couldn’t do anything without the Politicians they back. And it’s the ignorant voters like Eric who let the Crony Capitalists tell them who to elect.

      • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Jay

DaveH, i think that was implied, for you cannot buy someone who cannot be bought.

    • Howard

I don’t think you can make a case for the rich and corporations being the ones who want to take our guns. What would they gain from that? The answer is NOTHING. Certainly the IRA and others do make a profit from preaching the scare tactics, but they also keep you on your toes by doing so. Without their constant reminders, we as a nation, would relax and let the criminals who already control much of our lives, completely take over. Power and money are what drives the lawyers who have usurped our government, and that power can be increased by taking away our only way of defending ourselves.

      • Vicki

Even if the rich and or corporations wanted to they can’t take the guns without the power of government. Hence the focus in the Constitution to limit the powers of GOVERNMENT so that the people can remain free.

    • Alan

Agreed! I’ve been studying a lot about ALEC recently and I see now how they are disseminating information out through the State legislature. It is all coming into view and getting sharper by the day!

      • Vicki

And all flows thru corrupt government. How interesting. Government is the focal point of all that control so government is what we must work on to restore liberty and defeat them.

      • Sirian

I agree with you DaveH, BUT, you need to keep in mind that we have been “meddled” with for well over twenty years by the radical Muslims commonly known as the Muslim Brotherhood. It has become much more prevalent now then ever before – WH visits for example. You surely know as to the extent that we have been infiltrated and policies/directives that have been changed by their subversive/internal influence. We have a great deal to not be proud of, without question, but from our mistakes we need to stay ahead of what we have been coercively maneuvered into. The Muslim Brotherhood has been around for a very, very long time and their objective is open as open can be.

      • eddie47d

Yes Sirian but who started the bullying? The Muslims mostly ignored us until we did harm to them, (Iran 1953 an example) Always look at sequence then cause and effect. The Muslims felt suppressed by their masters and the US government that backed up their suppressors. 9/11 showed us how deadly revenge can be and then we turned around and killed thousands of them. All these acts of vengeance only exacerbated the situation and spread al Qaeda to different parts of the world. Thus greater dangers and the emboldenment of the Muslim Brotherhood. .

      • DaveH

The thing we need to keep in mind is that the Leaders (the Real side of the Leaders, not their public images) rarely represent their countries’ citizens. Just as Obama’s behavior is not representative of ours.

      • mark

You are absolutely right DaveH, the U.S. has an abysmal record of foreign interventions (lots by the CIA) and foreign invasions. This is why we are the most hated nation on earth. We maintain over 800 military bases in over 120 countries as part of our global imperialism. This is one area where I agree totally with Ron Paul. It is time for us to make a major cutback from our post World War II agenda of global domination, cut the defense department substantially and pull out of most of these unnecessary and terror-producing bases that turn local populations against us.
But of course U.S. and other Western corporations control of the global economy provides our nation with low-priced raw materials and import from impoverished underpaid laborers. Taming U.S. and transnational corporate power is another agenda altogher. I don’t see any party including the Libertarians willing to take on this second great power center since it helps enhance U.S. lifestyles to the point where are poorest and unemployed lived better than the workers of the Third World – our servants in the Globalist Corporate Economy

      • DaveH

Since you have no credibility, Mark, I can only assume that you are trying to undermine my comment.

      • eddie47d

Actually Mark the number of bases is closer to 1000 and more of them are being opened overseas. We think because of US bases closing that the number should be way down. They are just shuffling the deck!

    • DaveH

With Sociopaths, Sgt, you can’t just take their word for things. You must learn to read between the lines.
For example the latest so-called Cybersecurity Bill. Why do they need to be able to control the Internet for so-called National Security? They could make their own systems as robust as they want. They could even establish their own trunk lines to further protect themselves. What do they really want? Probably to be able to cut communications off to Americans if they decide to seize our weapons or some other such blatantly tyrannical effort. You can tell by the persistence of their efforts to control the Internet that they hate that the citizens can communicate so freely now outside the controls of the Propaganda Networks.

      • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Jay

It is said of these sociopaths, that it is not the wealth they crave as much as, “power and control”. They already have all the wealth, that was a no-brainer for them to accomplish. Their “holy grail”? Total and absolute power, and control over the masses!

    Austraili took away guns from citizens in 2001, look and see what happened then;

    Australian Gun Law Update
Here’s a thought to warm some of your hearts….
From: Ed Chenel, A police officer in Australia
Hi Yanks, I thought you all would like to see the real
    figures from Down Under.
It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were
forced by a new law to
surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by our own
government, a program costing Australia taxpayers
    more than $500 million dollars.
The first year results are now in:
Australia-wide, homicides are up 6.2 percent,
    Australia-wide, assaults are up 9.6 percent;
Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)!
In the state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent.
(Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not
and criminals still possess their guns!)
While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady
decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically
upward in the past 12 months, since the criminals now are guaranteed
    that their prey is unarmed.
There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and
assaults of the elderly, while the resident is at home.
Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public
safety has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was
expended in ‘successfully ridding Australian society of guns….’ You
won’t see this on the American evening news or hear your governor or
members of the State Assembly disseminating this information.
The Australian experience speaks for itself. Guns in the
hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control
laws affect only the law-abiding citizens.
Take note Americans, before it’s too late!
Will you be one of the sheeple to turn yours in?
    WHY? You will need it.

    • J

Sir, my condolences on you civil right to protect yourself and your homes and property. I would say to you sir to fight your government to return your right to protect your family and own weapons of criminal distruction. It’s sad when a law biding citizen has to become a criminal to protect his family. Good on ya mate! Now your country is prime for an invasion from a hostile country or religion!

    • DaveH

Once you come to the realization that Government is just one Big self-serving gang, everything else they do makes sense.

      • Walt

        DaveH says:

A good place to start looking, Mark, would be infowars.com.
        Here’s something about FEMA camps:
        http://www.infowars.com/bombshell-fema-camps-confirmed/

Dave, In the article you referenced, there is a video, showing the “plastic coffins” being stored, which implys that they are being stored by the government for eventual mass burials of U.S. citizens in FEMA detention camps. This is quite a stretch and so laughable.

Having worked in the deathcare industry (a cemetery)for several years, I know for a fact that these are not coffins; but are instead “grave liners” manufactured by a company in Conyers, Georgia called Vantage Vaults. They are designed structurally to “protect” the actual wooden or metal casket from ground collapse, as heavy equipment, used to dig the graves passes over the graves.

They manufacture these for use in thousands of cemeteries around the U.S. and ship them by the truckload to cemeteries as part of their in-stock inventory. I don’t have the actual numbers; but, I would guess that tens of thousands of people die each day from accidents, illness or old age and cemeteries require these vaults for burial. Most vaults used are made of concrete and there are many companies that also make these concrete vaults as well.

So, while some folks might see government’s sinister hand at play here, in the case of all these stacked “plastic coffins”, I only see a well recognized deathcare business practice. Look into it for yourself.

As to the FEMA camps and the rest of the article, I have no further opinion one way or the other.

      • Buster the Anatolian

Walt if that is in fact a FEMA camp and they are stored there it doesn’t matter if they are vaults, coffin liners, or coffins. Their presence there would indicate the government anticipates a need/use for them as a burial instrument.

      • DaveH

Walt says — “these are not coffins; but are instead “grave liners””.
And that proves what, exactly? Their grammar is bad?

      • DaveH

        Walt,
Are you one of those guys who is naive enough to believe that our Leaders can campaign around the world, killing other countries’ citizens without trials, stripping them of their guns and other rights, but have nothing but respect for us and our rights?

    • eddie47d

Gunner:Your article didn’t say what the punishment would be if you got caught with a gun. In the USA an extra 18 years can be tacked on if a criminal act is committed. A total gun ban obviously isn’t working yet you don’t have the serious problems (although increasing) that we have. How many massacres do you have a year before and after the gun ban?

    • mark

Yeah, “Gunner”, but they still have a thriving democracy with free elections, freedom of speech, the press, religion, assembly, and jury trials. So much for that ludicrous bald-face lie that without guns, individual citizens cannot be free

Arnie, whats coming is a Civil war,if these morons don’t stop pushing, we can and will push back, and if they think they are in power till they decide to retire they are fools, Americans are getting sick of the Left, it’s Tactics and it’s agenda, the reason the polls don’t show it is simple, no one want to show their cards, the same reason the recall in Wisconsin was supposed to be a nail biter and it wasn’t….we are sick of being Manipulated and our Votes counted before we pull the lever, Americans cannot and Will NOT stand by as we are being disarmed illegally by little maggots with nothing to do but keep themselves in power, only a State full of Morons keep the Schumers and Lautenbergs in office, between the NRA, and the Tea Party, these morons wont be in office much longer, adding debt, destroying our Military, mindless laws rules and regulation will back fire on the Left, people are beginning to see, this is the last stand for freedom….and it’s going to be the virtual END on Liberal Progressives……

Gun confiscation is coming. It may be called gun control, but it is confiscation. And we all know what comes after confiscation, don’t we?

A good debate ender is this, murder is illegal but it still happens so why not give the innocent a fighting chance at survival?. They can have my guns when they kill me but not before I take as many of them with me as possible. I am a Freeman and will live and die as one. Citizen not a subject.

The Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence gave the Obama Adminstration an F for gun control. He has done absolutely zilch on this matter. And he will continue to do nothing on this score. Once again the scare tactics that libertarian scaredy cats and pants-wetters always fall for, continue. For President George W. Bush’s first term, the Assault Gun Ban was in effect and no one said anything about Bush trying to take away their constitutional rights and establish a dictatorship. All of this fear mongering is a complete joke but the NRA is laughing all the way to the bank as the suckers keep mailiing in the checks. Why is it that so many of these people who own all these guns and piles of ammunition are such absolute cowards wetting their beds everytime someone mentions the word, UN or Chuck Schumer for God’s sakes! What a collection of scared-of-their-own-shadows fraidy cats. Even piles of guns and ammo can’t make them into men.

If you don’t believe he knew about the operation then you are not only a troll but a naive troll. Furthermore he fully intends to sign the UN small arms treaty. Please wake up before you are overcome with stupidity. He is working behind the scenes as to pacify dumb asses like you. I leave you with a final quote:

“If you love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen.”

      • eddie47d

You are somewhat correct Mark so should we believe the progressives or the “lying right wingers” To paraphrase Dave H. They forget how much they were hoodwinked by G Bush (Iraq War/Patriot Act) but they like to claim they are always shafted by the Liberals. Their alzheimer’s is creeping in “fast and furious” and seldom like to admit the plots that get concocted on their side. I’m well aware that Fast and Furious is far worse than G Bush’s crazy attempt to gun run but not nearly as serious as the conflicts Bush stirred up in the Middle East and the loss of civil liberties here in America. They claim the sky is falling under Obama yet have forgotten it already fell under the previous administration.

      • Tigerous

The devil’s best trick is to convince you he doesn’t exist. Of course Oblam-o won’t do anything overt; that would invite realization of his intent to “change” our society to conform with the anti-capitalistic obsession of his degenerate progenitors and cost him the election. He will rely on his surrogates and puppet-masters to do the dirty work. If they succeed, the result will be virtual serfdom for the rest of us as we support the new elites. This is exactly what happened in the Soviet system where the “nomenclatura”, or 800 families, who were the elite lived rich lives while the rest of the populace starved. One result will be the too-late realization by the Occupy-type activists and community organizers that there will be no rooms in the elites’ mansions for their plebeian selves. They will be serfs like the rest of us who object to this perversion of the Founders’ intent.

mark is a liberalis infantius. He is part of a massive group largely represented by students and persons who have yet to enter the work force. A unique group of individuals who generally lack both the experience of real world or any serious fundamental understanding of economics, foreign policy, finance or anything else that matters.

Emboldened instead by newfound knowledge gleamed from institutions spewing liberal propaganda, this group largely feeds off itself in a fury of prebuscant peer pressure angst. As most parents would attest teenagers are impossible to reason with considering they believe the world is against them and constantly mutter phrases like “You just don’t understand” or “If you were my age…”, which of course is fine when it comes to cleaning one’s room, but not fine when it comes to selecting the next president of the united states.

Infantius naturally gravitate towards social issues, since never having paid taxes and lacking any kind of real economic knowledge leaves them rationalizing with their hearts or relying on CNN – like gay marriage, abortion and equality. If only they would just espouse their issues in the form of parades and other nuisances instead of the voting booth, America would be a much better place. At least they have a big healthy heart :)

“Obama admits he’s coming for our guns, telling Sarah Brady, ‘We are working on (gun control), but under the radar.’ ”

How smart is Obama – It’s typically not smart to say you’re doing something “under the radar,” if you’re actually doing something under the radar, and it suggests something of a conspiracy because Sarah Brady is a prominent gun control advocate, having helped create the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence with her husband Jim.

It’s not a direct quote from Obama, rather it’s Brady recalling to Post reporter Jason Horowitz her meeting with Obama on March 30, 2011, the 30th anniversary of the assassination attempt on President Ronald Reagan.

        Here’s what Horowitz wrote:

During the meeting, President Obama dropped in and, according to Sarah Brady, brought up the issue of gun control, “to fill us in that it was very much on his agenda,” she said.

“I just want you to know that we are working on it,” Brady recalled the president telling them. “We have to go through a few processes, but under the radar.”

In the meeting, she said, Obama discussed how records get into the system and what can be done about firearms retailers. Her husband specifically brought up the proposed ban on large magazine clips, and she noted that even former Vice President Dick Cheney had suggested that some restrictions on the clips might make sense.

“He just laughed,” Sarah Brady said approvingly of the president. Both she and her husband, she emphasized, had absolute confidence that the president was committed to regulation.

      • Flashy

jeffH..I believe your Sarah brady quote is the one shown yesterday to be fake and a fiction. that’s two for two today on posting fictitious quotes.

      • Kate8

Any time something doesn’t fit with a liberal’s ideological preconceived notions, they simply choose not to believe it. Never mind facts nor overwhelming evidence.

This proves that they choose to live in a dream world where the illogical seems logical, the irrational seems rational, and if you believe a thing hard enough it will be true.

Sad. Pathetic. Tragic for our nation.

No Stephen, we’ve had this problem since Abe Lincoln. It just wasn’t obvious to the uneducated average citizen then. It’s more obvious now because Obama has impatiently implemented the takeover in ways that even the average citizens can recognize.

Schumer is sure one crazy New Yorker. The New Yorkers keep on electing him to office. New York is just a lost state. It’s like a liberal bubble land ! Try reading a newspaper from New York, they don’t make any sense ! For example, get a copy of the “Democrat and Chronicle”, it’s a Rochester NY newspaper (if you dare)… It’s just one frustrating irrational liberal rag. You could read it in the rest room, when it’s illogical nonsense gets you annoyed , use it to wipe your butt ….

Schumer is just a product of the New York environment. The whole country is subjected to the media garbage coming from NYC, it’s only tolerated as a sort of novelty . Northeasterners, and especially New Yorkers, iq’s have definitely been falling since the early 1960′s ….

Come on New Yorkers ! Throw this bum out of office !

Also get rid of the UN … it’s just a waste of money !! Move the UN to another country …. The nerve of those people telling us what to do !!!

You are right Marlin. The problems I see in my state are the disastrous outcomes of leftist policies that have been shoved down our throat against our will, just like they are trying to do with the queer marriage fiasco. For them to now complain of the outcome of their imposed policies is the height of absurdity. The view in my state has always been: just leave us alone. But busy-body, dictatorial, Stalin-wannabe leftists are incapable of leaving anyone alone. With their ever expanding disasters, they cry for yet more expanding powers to correct the disaster they created alone. To be separated from such idiots would indeed be freedom. Let them destroy their own state and leave mine alone.

        Dear Eric,

And when we PROGREES all the way to Hell, just how will that work out again?

We left Long Island NY and have not looked back.
It is one of the four most restrictive state’s in this nation.

To sell our home we had to have “THREE Permits,”
One to allow extra Parking on our own land,
One to put up the For Sale sign,
One to allow for the OPEN House.

We also had the special pleasue of paying over $70,000.00 per year in tax’s. “”"Now thats Progress at its best.”"

And guess what; Nassua County is FLAT out Broke! Thats with over 6 Million people paying crazy tax’s on everything.
My Wife smokes and a pack of Cigs cost her over $12.00.

One of My friend just sold their home in Millneck where they were paying per year in TAX’s “$162,000.00″ on a home that is 140 years old.
Yes it – sold for $2.6 Million; or for a loss of 50% of whats its value was just 5 years ago!

The only people building or staying on Long Island NY are in the circle of the special people from the NWO, or their TOOLS.

So in a few words, Dude, Please if you have any sway, WILL YOU Please have the state of New York Leave the union.

I mean afterall the state is Flat out BROKE!
If not for FEDERAL FUNDS / AKA – MONEY from all the other states New York would be Bankrupt right now! Oh wait it is!

As a New Yorker, I’m totally behind Schumer. Someone has to stand up and put a stop to the assault weapons that are all over the streets–and especially in New York City, where such guns have killed and wounded kids and innocent bystanders recently. There is no reason for anyone to own an assault weapon, except to kill people. (And if you really want to kill people, go get yourself a knife. Not many kids get killed by wayward knives.)

      • Vicki

The media must be supressing this cause I have yet to see either assault weapons (which firearms are those btw) or any other firearm all over the streets of New York. I have not seen them running around and killing people either.

carrobin: ‘(And if you really want to kill people, go get yourself a knife. Not many kids get killed by wayward knives.)”

Your reality must be strange indeed where knives as well as guns get up and move around. In our world humans pickup these inanimate objects and use them to commit crimes and to stop crimes.

Maybe if the laws already on the books were enforced, instead of the slap on the wrist sentences handed out by liberal judges there would be no need for more laws. The laws only work for people that obey laws. If you don’t obey laws what the hell good are more laws? Can’t you libs think? Just last week on the busy streets of NYC, a woman was stabbed in broard daylight. Then you had a 4 year old shot by some 17 year old drug dealing punk. You have to be 21 to buy a gun, and dealing drugs is against the law also. Maybe if you feel good libs would stop feeling sorry for these lowlifes, stop blaming everyone for their crimes and got tough on them with the death sentences, just maybe NYC would be a little safer. Stop making laws that don’t work on criminals, kill them. You libs will go nuts to stop the death sentence for the guilty, but the innocent unborn, its open season. You libs have no morals, don’t try to pass off your screwed up thinking on us. So screw all you libtards.

mark – Why would Harry Reid be afraid of anybody? He’s flanked by a group of goons packing heavy heat all the time, and he’s got other goons who know how to rig voting machines.

Does the fact that he has other people waving guns for him make him somehow above being a wet-nosed crybaby?

Actually, he’s the lowest of life-forms. He even looks like a worm.

      • eddie47d

Still swimming in the deep end Kate 8 and find yourself drowning in the fog of conspiracies. Who are these “goons” that guard Reid? Was that voter “fraud” ever proven in Nevada? Little more than an assumption or a Kate 8 grudge she can’t get over. Those 600,000 carbines aren’t some mysterious plot either unless you want to refight the Korean War which is something those on the right always endorse.

Reid is a bleating foal, a curdled staggering mutant dwarf smeared richly with the effluvia and offal accompanying his alleged birth into this world. An insensate, blinking calf, meaningful to nobody, abandoned by the puke-drooling, giggling beasts who sired him
and then killed themselves in recognition of what they had done.

I can tell you how. They have already built 60 Fema Camps and produced an Army Regulation AR 210-35 Civilian Labor Camp. They have a full Army Battalion just brought back from Afganistan to finish their training to go from city to city, door to door using road blocks etc. to take all of our guns away! Soldier’s warning on Youtube and Fema camps on Youtube are the proof in the pudding. They also have built train cars (black) and hired a company in Houston to weld shakles on the walls of each car. But! their is 1 in 10 cars that does not have shakles but just one single piece of equipment. A guillatine, yes, thats what I said something to cut your head off with. Our government commissioned China to make 150,000 of them. They are in box cars already and the rest are in shipping crates in Long Beach Harbor. Look up beach grove Indiana fema camp. The only problem with this one is that their are no long term cells. ITS A DEATH CAMP! What can you do to avert this attack on civilians? Fight BACK! Store food and water, vote out Obama and remove all from office who appose the United States consitiution for what it really stands for and above all, bring God back into America!

      • know it all

They have wasted more tax dollars building these camps, because obutthead and his so called armies have underestimated the American gun owners.America was won with the gun and will stay stronge with the gun !! Total right-wing gun nut fantasy. You have all been feeding these completely fabricated paranoid fantasies for years now. And they never ever ever come true! But keep on spewing and believing these absolute lies. The very idea that a single army battalion of 800 men could sieze 300 million guns and imprison half the 300 million strong population. Many in our government, state, county and cities are complicit with this UN Agenda…understand that it is real and it has been eroding our national sovereignty for over 50 years.

Agenda 21 – The U.N. Plan for Your “Sustainable” Community
Note: This global contract binds all nations to the collective vision of “sustainable development.” They must commit to pursue the three E’s of “sustainability”: Environment, Economy and Equity referring to the UN blueprint for environmental regulations, economic manipulation, and social equity.

Have we ever lived in times such as these when our own govt is shredding the very laws that have made us the greatest FREE Nation in the world? No. It is all prophesied to happen; America will fall (as will other Nations) to make way for the New World Order and One World Governance. Their goal total dominion over the world population. Ah, but the world population will be much smaller, by 80% (look up “georgia stone”) It is their vision credo for the future. THE ONLY WAY THIS CAN CHANGE IS FOR THE PEOPLE OF THE US TO CEASE from all uncleanliness and turn to God. True enough, This Nation was founded by people who were a righteous lot. They prayed, believed in doing good to others by virtue of service, ATTENDED CHURCH, keep the commandments, etc, etc. This land (the “Promise Land”) came with a Promise from God; if we would worship God, we would be protected from all other Nations. George Washington had many miracles happen as he fought against Great Brittan (It is recorded history that has long been left out of our schools as the liberals try to rewrite history to say they were all atheists, homosexuals and other!.. truly unbelievable.Anyway, read “The American Covenant” …One Nation Under God by Timothy Ballard, and you will learn how special America IS and the Covenant made with the people of this Nation. We did not become the greatest because of our own doing… God has been behind it from the beginning, but as we have turned away from Him, so He has been turning away from us leaving us to ourselves to destroy ourselves an to be destroyed.

Vote, vote vote… yes, we need to do our part. BUT WE NEED TO TAKE THE TIME TO LEARN OF THE CANDIDATES and vote for those who have good values, morals and ethics WHO have a belief in CHRIST! My greatest fear is that Obama will not just walk away from the power he has taken from the people…but when it becomes apparent he will loose, he will create a National Crises and impose Martial Law( he already has that set up) He also has set up complete, and total control of all communications in an emergency so we can not communicate amongst ourselves to organize (divided we fall)

And YES, all the horror stories you’ve heard about the prison camps, gas chambers, acres of coffins and the like are all TRUE. Again, you have to ask if it falls inline with their hidden agenda, then it is not fabricated. Again… look up Georgia Stone and read to your horror what they have posted in a PUBLIC PLACE!
In the meantime, PRAY for our Country. Pray that people will turn away from evil and to God. Only God can and WILL assist us. When we draw close to Him, He will draw near to us! Of this, I testify in His name, even Jesus Christ.

      • http://gravatar.com/bychoosing Jay

Excellent post, Kate8. However, the truth contained in the video presentation was well known by those with eyes to see, and ears to hear, even before the invasion. But they, and the truth, were suppressed by the progressive media. Not surprising the progs never protested obama’s invasion of Libya. They still, however, froth at the mouth over bush’s invasion of Iraq, as they should.

      • Kate8

Yes it was, Jay. But most people believed the propaganda coming out of the WH.

The best thing that can happen is for the military to wake up and realize that they are nothing to the elite except cannon fodder, and when they are used up they are thrown away like yesterday’s trash.

People do not want war. Power-mad psychopaths want war, and they use other people’s children to do their fighting while they watch from the safety of their plush “war rooms”.

It’s time to stop doing their fighting for them. It’s time to send special ops in to arrest them all, take everything they have away from them, and put them somewhere where they can contemplate their misery and feel what they imposed on humanity.

Actually, they should drop them in the middle east and let those people bring justice. After all, it was the elite themselves who made Islam into their bogey man.

      • Tigerous

The Alinskyites are reported to have determined that it might be necessary to kill as many as 25 million Americans to get the rest of us in line. But that was about 15 years ago, so the number would probably be higher today. My fear is that they drastically over-estimated what it would take to subjugate the populace. Once more than half of us are on government support, the rest don’t stand a chance. This is the fate of a republic-turned-democracy that Franklin foresaw.

Now, before you spout off with some ignorant rant, ask yourself a few questions…

Why does DHS need 450 million rounds of .40 cal and another 175 million rounds of .223 cal. ammunition?
Do DHS workers train with hollow point ammunition? Or is hollow point ammunition used primarily for killing?
Is DHS expecting an invasion of foreign troops? Or are they looking to quell disorderly Americans who refuse to bow down and become slaves?
Do some real soul searching and use that thing on your shoulders for something other than a hat rack. If, you still can’t wrap your mind around the direction that we are headed as a nation, you have my simpathies as you are seriously brain damaged and beyond hope.
Wake up and smell the coffee, your life depends on it more than you know.

A quote today for voters everywhere, a point made by Sam Adams in 1776 before helping to throw out a tyrant…

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsel or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands that feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were even our countrymen!

Wrong again, Karolyn. Obama WAS around, being groomed to do just what he is doing.

You do realize that Barack Obama ( or whoever he happens is this week) was born August 4, 1961 (supposedly) and that in 1982 he would have been 20-21 years old, right? He also (again, supposedly) graduated from Columbia University in 1983, so he most definitely was “around”. They perfected “extremism” and hold it as dear to their heart as they do their firearms. It’s gotten to the point they can’t even tell the difference in all their irrational thinking. Schumer has nothing on your agenda and in the bigger picture you are both blind to reality. Your arrogance is showing when you mock the using of the word CLIP. Definition: A container to hold ammunition. Get over all your pious bull and come back to earth. J SAYS proves all the insanity that permeate from the right and the constent fear and devious behavioral world you attempt to live in.

You must really enjoy it since you’re on this web site. Tell me, when are you coming out of the closet and fianally come clean to your friends and family that you are a (gasp) conservative

A “Clip” is the 8 round device the M-1 Garand used.Stripper clips are 10 round devices used to aid the loading of some magazines.Modern mutiple round capable weapons use a “Magazine”,either tubular, cylindrical, box or drum

When it comes to understanding world/political events, it is obvious that this retard aka eddie47d wouldn’t know his azz from a hole in the ground (probably where he came from).

        eddie47d ,

“I can’t wait to read all the “dangerous and absurd” comments from the right .”

The only absurd and dangerous comments are comming from you and Mark ( burrying your head i the sand is both extremely absurd and extremely dangerous)…please don’t try to tell us that you are from the right, we know better….you are too stupid to be on the right….therefore, you must be on the WRONG.

        Best Wishes,
        AJ

      • Average Joe

        eddie47d,

Repeat after me “clips are used to hold cartridges together for quick loading, magazines are used to hold cartridges for feeding into the guns’ chamber” .

Simply put, a magazine is a container in which ammunition is stored, whilst a clip is a small piece of metal which holds rounds in place whilst outside the magazine, and sometimes within the magazine as well.

        Best Wishes,
        AJ

      • JeffH

eddie, these 3 words best describes you…”stupid is forever”!

      • eddie47d

Don’t worry AJ and Jeff you all never disappoint and I will never join the forces of the extreme right wing or the extreme left wing. We know Jeff entered that realm a long time ago and as he says “stupid is forever”. Your minds are bent to far to the right and even a good welder wouldn’t be able to straighten you out! Remember those FEMA camps if they truly exist AS YOU SAY were around under Bush and they will be around under Romney(if elected). I personally don’t believe they exist in the capacity that you are trying to prove. So keep crying wolf and drink another cup of paranoia.

The tactics they are using are unbelievable: taking things out of context, using info from 30 years ago, believing every wacko who can put a video on YouTube, etc. The worse the news, the better they like it. I can see then clapping their hands with glee every time Obama commits a faux pas.

      • Kate8

Karolyn – It’s now been widely publicized that everything that comes out of the MSM has to be approved by the WH. So you will never read anything from them which is unflattering to Obama and his comrades.

        How about this:

Your silly, ignorant, uninformed rants are not winning any hearts and minds around here…you are simply annoying intelligent, informed people who would like to have intelligent, informed conversations. You are a fly in the ointment..an ant at the picnick.

If we tell you that you win…will you go home?

eddiot, don’t go away mad…just go away.

Best Wishes for a full recovery,

I recovered a long time ago AJ when I returned from Vietnam and haven’t been asleep since. Maybe a little tired. That is sick and tired of all the insanity and BS from the left and the right. Some of you can’t crawl out of your little pigeoned holed corners and can’t think outside your rigid political spectrum.

It’s also a well-known fact from often-repeated events in history that ANY government that successfully disarms the populace has no qualms about initiating mass slaughters. We’ve even had at least 2 examples of it in American history; Waco & Ruby Ridge…Look ‘em up.

Further examples: Afghanistan, Egypt, Libya, and presently Syria, where massive slaughters have, and are occurring; and all, at the hands of the current Administration, and under the watchful eye of the current potus, who, unbeknown to most, is the leader of the Taliban!

      Dear Dave,

      Oh how right you are!

      Peace and Love

    • Flashy

      OK…

Here is the deal. Since the early days of the nation, guns have been subjected to rules and regulations. From the early days, people were not allowed to arm themselves and have an appearance which would cause great disturbance on feelings of safety by others. Yes, the crime was a misdemeanor referred to as ‘Frightening’. Today, it may be loosely akin to “Menacing” without the overt threat. The very first SCOTUS opinion concerning the 2nd amendment established the Right is not without limits as to what is covered. it does not cover tanks bazookas etc. The recent assault weapons ban has been upheld and better defines limits that are Constitutional. Lastly, it has long been upheld that mentally disturbed, criminals, and minors may be banned from owning or carrying weapons. We have concealed weapons permits. So the Right is not without limits for location, type, or qualifications for ownership and possession. There is no question on that. The question is at what point does hysteria give way allowing reasonable standards to protect the community.

The above is not mine. It is from Supreme Court Justice Antonio Scalia in an interview on Fox News I watched last night.

Go ahead…call him an anti gun liberal.

      • gunny55

I would have to disagree with your statement about “Assault Weapons “since the definition of such weapons has been systematically bastardized and altered to fit the Anti-Gun agenda. If the purposeful alteration of the proper definition of individual weapons types is allowed with no scrutiny by the population is allowed to continue it will lead to bans on all semi-auto weapons. In the case of firearms if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck analogy doesn’t apply. This has been brought up in the past by firearms scholars and discussed at length but no forward momentum has been made. For some reason that escapes me no one seems to be up to the task to call the Anti-Gun forces or the media on this. Confiscation is a very real threat in our future if we don’t remain united. It happened in England and to the Aussies and Constitution or not a stroke of the pen by some elitist in DC could change our lives overnight. We have seen the willingness of the current Commander and Chief to use the pen to further his agenda without the pesky bother of our nation’s Congressional leader’s votes.

      • CZ52

“For some reason that escapes me no one seems to be up to the task to call the Anti-Gun forces or the media on this.”

Gunny they are called on it all the time. The problem is the media will not let it become general knowledge. It only gets distributed among those who know the difference and those they have direct contact with.

      • gunny55

Yes but they are not as compelling or insistent as they need to be or could be. The NRA as well as the other pro-gun orgs should and could band together. We as members should loudly insist that this take place and soon.

      • Flashy

Gunny…two comments. One, I am not familiar with President Obama having any anti gun agenda. At all. never. Quite the opposite. Fact is, the only “proof’ ever offered he was anti gun has been because he doesn’t have an anti gun agenda, it’s proof he has one!

Second…though Art lays the reasoning on me and says i’m BS…fact is, that is Scalia’s view, not mine. One i found very interesting to listen to and digest exactly what he was stating.

So if y’all want to lambast me for what Scalia is stating…all one can do is shake one’s head. i guess y’all know more about the Constitution and the 2nd than Antonio Scalia, Supreme Court Justice of the United States of America.

      • gunny55

Flashy, EARLY on after Obama was elected that November I was chatting with some people online and the subject came up. I was advised then that I should go to the official Presidential Whitehouse webpage. The politics of Barack Hussein Obama were there in all their glory for anyone who bothered to look. He had some very particular ideas on the subject of gun control. Almost immediately after his inauguration all reference to gun control disappeared from the website. I saw it with my own two eyes and copied and paste the passages myself. But as fate would have it I have not been able to locate the file. I don’t need to hear anyone’s opinion on this because personally I SAW it firsthand. I wish I could remember the particulars but all I do remember is some references to some legislation he wanted to either extend or enhance and they related directly to gun control. As far as the Supreme Court, they have made bad or incomplete decisions before and I suspect will continue to do so. We have an appeals court that is openly political in all their decisions in California. I don’t lend much credence to the SCOTUS anymore for that very same reason. I would never leave it up to politicians to guard my personal liberties nor should anyone else in this country. That is a mistake. You never heard me lambast anyone. What I did do was make a very important point about what and who is defining weapons types by definition in this country. I would submit that it played a very important role in the SCOTUS decision since they are all political themselves some more than others. I believe they take the temperature of the nation to some degree in making decisions. That is why we need to make sure that things are always defined correctly. Some choose to ignore the details. I make you to be one of those people.Am I wrong? The general public knows only what they are fed by the Idiotcrats and the media. Neither care about accuracy when they are about an agenda. As I respect your right to your own opinion but I do dissagree.

      • Flashy

Hey ! How does one italicize like that? We can do that here? It was unintended…

      • JeffH

FALSY says, “Gunny…two comments. One, I am not familiar with President Obama having any anti gun agenda. At all. never.”

Within 90 days, we will go back after kitchen table dealers, and work to end the gun show and internet sales loopholes. I might, Flashman, if I thought that might really be his words. But then, since you have no credibility, I’ll withhold my criticism of the Justice.
Perhaps you could post a link?
If it were true, so what? Big Surprise, a branch of the Federal Government backs their own. The Supreme Court was never meant to be the final arbiter of Constitutionality by our Founders. They just took that authority unilaterally and foolish citizens let them get away with it.

      • Buster the Anatolian

Flashy (or as Opal says Flushy) obama said right after becoming president that the only reason he was not going to seek new more restrictive gun laws was he did not have the votes to assure their passage.

      • eddie47d

That doesn’t make Obama wrong in desiring some form of weapons control. The nation is evenly divided on that issue and the votes (60% or 2/3rd’s) aren’t there. The majority of Americans support some controls on high caliber weapons, assault weapons and magazines. Few Americans support abolishing the Second Amendment so the support is wide open on both sides. That is why sensible controls and legal ownership should be a part of the ongoing debate.

        JeffH,
We have a super Kmart here that closed down and the building was vacant, not collecting active taxes. well a guy arranged to have a huge gun show there about every couple of months, with other types of shows in between. the building was perfect for those types of venues. All of a sudden the guy announces that he couldn’t have them there any more. I don’t think it was from lack of interest as the place was packed at allof the shows and people were spending money. He hired off duty police to patrol the shows and they went off without any problems. wonder who/what in government caused THAT??? seems like every time they get something people are interested in around here, somebody from the city/county givernment finds something about it they don’t like!

      • JeffH

Falsy, I’ll admit that I didn’t verify the “quote”, my bad…but, would you care to respond to the link that I posted?

      • JeffH

Joe H, not surprised at all. By the way, good to see you around, hope all is well on the homefront. :)

      • Buster the Anatolian

eddie we already have sensable controls. You and Flushy (thx Opal) would add ever more controls until guns were unavailable to the common law abiding citizen.

      • Joe H

        JeffH,
Things were kinda rough health wise for awhile but better now. Thanks for asking!

      • JeffH

Joe H, stay strong my friend, you’re absense has been noticed. Good to see ya.

    • Shovelhead

Take away our guns, How do we protect our families from the outlaws who still has them. Count on our Government to take care of them, right like that will happen. If some one who was carrying was in that theater on that tragic night I really believe there wouldn’t have been so many killed. But if there was no guns for that guy to use, things would have been much worse, bombs would have most likely to kill everyone in both sides. The guns didn’t kill those people it was the (expletive deleted) holding it. If we the people can’t have them then take them away from the people who are carrying guns to protect all government personnel then let all the senators, congressmen, and even the President’s men protect them selves like the rest of would have to do. They are no better than me or you. Stupid is as Stupid does.

      This just in from Newsmax:

      Dear fellow Patriot,

      Nearly 1 million American firearms.

Banned by a stroke of Barack Obama’s pen.

In a move unprecedented in American history, the Obama Administration quietly banned the re-importation of nearly 600,000 American made M1 Carbine rifles.

And I’ve just discovered Obama may be blocking as many 300,000 1911 Colts too!

That’s nearly one million pieces of American history denied to the American people.

      ——————————–
This is not the full article. It just goes on to describe the history of the weapons.

    • eddie47d

Very Wrong Taino21, although that quote was placed in the National Educator Sarah Brady never said such a thing. Besides the Brady’s were staunch Conservatives who happen to believed guns were a menace thus her anti-gun crusade.
