    I have been trying to get a Constitutional amendment to my State Constitution which allows my State to cede from the union in case BHO gets re-elected. Haven’t got it passed yet but it is in the works. I am afraid TX will become too crowded.

      doc freeman, if barry gets re-elected their will be a lot of people screaming for their states to secede. we are out numbered by the minority mind set, this nation is well on it’s way to third world status. look at greece, we are right behind them.
      since we opened the door to illegal immigration by the”bleeding heart liberals” not out of sympathy, but for votes, our society has headed downhill . we now have that intellect sitting in the wh.

        it was billy sol estes, but this is news to me, i didn’t know lbj was complicit. i always wondered how that lee h could shoot a cheap ww2 surplus italian gun that accurately at a moving target, especially since a military gun couldn’t necessarily be scoped because the ejection would be upwards. also he would have to sight it in even if it was possible to mount the scope and this would raise eyebrows at any gun range because who would put a scope on a $13 gun? without a scope no chance of even hitting the trunk with iron sights. also it was interesting how lee h was conveniently removed before any questions were asked.

        What city is next? A read well worth your time! Some of his thoughts may seem a bit strong to some of us, but If this can happen to Detroit or Gary , how do we keep a similar fate from destroying the rest of our country? (Frosty Wooldridge(born 1947) is a US journalist, writer, environmentalist, traveler)

        For 15 years, from the mid 1970′s to 1990, I worked in Detroit , Michigan . I watched it descend into an abyss of crime, debauchery, gun play, drugs, school truancy, car-jacking, gangs, and human depravity. I watched entire city blocks burned out. I watched graffiti explode on buildings, cars, trucks, buses and school yards. Trash everywhere! Detroiters walked through it, tossed more into it, and ignored it. Tens of thousands, and then hundreds of thousands today exist on federal welfare, free housing, and food stamps! With Aid to Dependent Children, minority women birthed eight to 10, and in one case, one woman birthed 24 children as reported by the Detroit Free Press, all on American taxpayer dollars. A new child meant a new car payment, new TV, and whatever mom wanted. I saw Lyndon Baines Johnson’s ‘Great Society’ flourish in Detroit . If you give money for doing nothing, you will get more hands out taking money for doing nothing Mayor Coleman Young, perhaps the most corrupt mayor in America outside of Richard Daley in Chicago , rode Detroit down to its knees… He set the benchmark for cronyism, incompetence, and arrogance. As a black man, he said, “I am the MFIC.” The IC meant “in charge”. You can figure out the rest — Detroit became a majority black city with 67 percent African-Americans. As a United Van Lines truck driver for my summer job from teaching math and science, I loaded hundreds of American families into my van for a new life in another city or state. Detroit plummeted from 1.8 million citizens to 912,000 today. At the same time, legal and illegal immigrants converged on the city, so much so, that Muslims number over 300,000. Mexicans number 400,000 throughout Michigan , but most work in Detroit . As the whites moved out, the Muslims moved in. As the crimes became more violent, the whites fled. Finally, unlawful Mexicans moved in at a torrid pace. Detroit suffers so much shoplifting that grocery stores no longer operate in many inner city locations. You could cut the racial tension in the air with a knife! Detroit may be one of our best examples of multiculturalism: pure dislike, and total separation from America . Today, you hear Muslim calls to worship over the city like a new American Baghdad with hundreds of Islamic mosques in Michigan , paid for by Saudi Arabia oil money. High school flunk out rates reached 76 percent last June, according to NBC’s Brian Williams. Classrooms resemble more foreign countries than America . English? Few speak it! The city features a 50 percent illiteracy rate and growing. Unemployment hit 28.9 percent in 2009 as the auto industry vacated the city. In Time Magazine’s October 4, 2009 issue, “The Tragedy of Detroit: How a great city fell, and how it can rise again,” I choked on the writer’s description of what happened. “If Detroit had been ravaged by a hurricane, and submerged by a ravenous flood, we’d know a lot more about it,” said Daniel Okrent. “If drought and carelessness had spread brush fires across the city, we’d see it on the evening news every night.” Earthquake, tornadoes, you name it, if natural disaster had devastated the city that was once the living proof of American prosperity, the rest of the country might take notice. But Detroit , once our fourth largest city, now 11th and slipping rapidly, has had no such luck. Its disaster has long been a slow unwinding that seemed to remove it from the rest of the country. Even the death rattle that in the past year emanated from its signature industry brought more attention to the auto executives than to the people of the city, who had for so long been victimized by their dreadful decision making.” As Coleman Young’s corruption brought the city to its knees, no amount of federal dollars could save the incredible payoffs, kickbacks and illegality permeating his administration. I witnessed the city’s death from the seat of my 18-wheeler tractor trailer because I moved people out of every sector of decaying Detroit .. “By any quantifiable standard, the city is on life support. Detroit ‘s treasury is $300 million short of the funds needed to provide the barest municipal services,” Okrent said. “The school system, which six years ago was compelled by the teachers’ union to reject a philanthropist’s offer of $200 million to build 15 small, independent charter high schools, is in receivership. The murder rate is soaring, and 7 out of 10 remain unsolved. Three years after Katrina devastated New Orleans , unemployment in that city hit a peak of 11%. In Detroit today, the unemployment rate is 28.9%. That’s worth spelling out: twenty-eight point nine percent. At the end of Okrent’s report, and he will write a dozen more about Detroit, he said, “That’s because the story of Detroit is not simply one of a great city’s collapse, it’s also about the erosion of the industries that helped build the country we know today. The ultimate fate of Detroit will reveal much about the character of America in the 21st century. If what was once the most prosperous manufacturing city in the nation has been brought to its knees, what does that say about our recent past? And if it can’t find a way to get up, what does that say about America ‘s future?” As you read in my book review of Chris Steiner’s book,”$20 Per Gallon”, the auto industry won’t come back. Immigration will keep pouring more and more uneducated third world immigrants from the Middle East into Detroit , thus creating a beachhead for Islamic hegemony in America . If 50 percent illiteracy continues, we will see more homegrown terrorists spawned out of the Muslim ghettos of Detroit . Illiteracy plus Islam equals walking human bombs. You have already seen it in Madrid, Spain , London, England , and Paris with train bombings, subway bombings and riots. As their numbers grow, so will their power to enact their barbaric Sharia Law that negates republican forms of government, first amendment rights, and subjugates women to the lowest rungs on the human ladder. We will see more honor killings by upset husbands, fathers and brothers that demand subjugation by their daughters, sisters and wives. Muslims prefer beheadings of women to scare the hell out of any other members of their sect from straying. Multiculturalism: what a perfect method to kill our language, culture, country and way of life.

        I PRAY EVERYONE THAT READS THIS REALIZES THAT IF WE DON’T STAND UP, AND SCREAM AT WASHINGTON AND OUR STATE, CITY AND LOCAL LEADERS THIS IS WHAT AWAITS THE REST OF AMERICA . IF YOU THINK THE MEXICANS AND MUSLIMS AND OTHER FOREIGNERS WILL EVENTUALLY FIT RIGHT IN, THEN YOU ARE AS BIG A PART OF THE PROBLEM AS THEY ARE. IF YOU THINK THIS IS JUST A BUNCH OF HOOEY AND YOU FEEL NO DUTY TO FIGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY, THEN I’M SORRY. I DON’T KNOW WHAT IT WILL TAKE FOR YOU TO STAND AND FIGHT.

Just in case Amerika still has naive and quasi-innocent people who think people in law enforcement (or the White House) who won’t cross the line and act like career criminals, THIS duo should forever solve that question.
    WHERE is Congress? WHERE are Amerika’s lawyers who still love the law and can’t stand to see people like Obummer and Holder in Washington? Congress can do Amerika a huge favor by dissolving the Department of Justice. Folks, whatever you can create, you can TERMINATE. WHO created the DOJ? If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it sure DOES apply here.It’s BROKE, people, and we can’t rely on the Putz-in-Chief or the head capo to “FIX” ANYTHING.
    Until recently we could get a better deal from the Mafia. I wonder if the KGB would be interested in helping Amerika remain free. You’d think we could work out an acceptable with some group in this half-_____ world.       not quite apropos but interesting. i am reading this biography of lbj and as part of the great society war on poverty they set up these community action programs in various hard core slums, and they hired community organizers to run them. so that’s our president’s background. and you all say he never had a job! oh the humanity.

    gerald ford. in recent history have the dems ever given us a president with the solid integrity of gerald ford? i used to think he was kind of a fake president because he got in with nixon’s resignation and then wasn’t re-elected. you know, in the schoolroom presidential charts they have to show him as one of the presidents but really they don’t want to. he was defeated by another figure of basic integrity, jimmy carter. ronald reagan, unquestioned, as well as his successor, george herbert walker bush. and then we hit the questionable zone with bill clinton, followed by barack obama. i mean, yes with jimmy carter we doubted his policies but never his character. the same with the younger bush. he was a rotter in his younger days, but he grew into a stable and sane governance where once again, you might argue his policies, but you could safely invite him into your home without having to do a quick inventory once he’s gone. why can’t you dems come up with someone better than the free prize from a box of cereal? where do you find these clunkers? i thought dukakis was the dreary dud of dumpville, but there again he didn’t make people wonder if he shudda been in THAT wing of the hospital. and i hate to say it but you don’t have anyone for 2016.

      Rasta, turn your teeny brain back to the Clinton administration. Clinton reduced funding for the military, refuse to update military equipment and encouraged the military personell to retire or not re-up, took the Social Security fund out and put that into the General Fund and he did that so he could claim an excess. He didn’t want to be bothered with eliminating Bin Laden when that scum was on the radar and could be eradicated (direlection of duty there). Shortly after Bush took office Al Quaida flew planes in to the Twin Towers, the Pentagon and a field in Pa because Clinton shirked his duty to this country, all the time telling Monica “Faster, faster!” Bush had to rebuild the military before he could follow the Democrat Congress’ urging to attack our enemy and that took a bundle of bucks so Clinton’s ‘excess’ was wiped out. It takes big money to fund and rebuild military forces, wouldn’t you say. So, when you accuse Bush of spending so much money, you need to go back to the previous presidency and point your finger, despite the fact that you don’t want to admit that any of your failed Liberal presidents have don any wrong. Before you blow off at the face, do some research – with open eyes, please.

        Marlene, if you will do a little research you will find that the bush administration ADMITTED that they misjudged the resistance that the Iraqis would put up and did not send in enoungh troops for the invasion EVEN THOUGhH they were available! So it makes no difference what Clinton left since they didn’t use what they had!! Remember the “chocolates and flowers” reception that cheney sold to bush and rummy????
        Clinton had been gone from Washington for 234 days before 9/11! bush had been President(?) for 234 days before 9/11!     Obama and Holder are getting away with a traitorous gun running plan, knowingly doing business with terrorists, drug cartels in which Agent Brian Terry was killed along with hundreds of mexican citizens with the semi-auto guns that were given to those drug cartels committing mass murder. Those two lied and stalled over and over and finally to cover up more, Obama uses executive privileges to seal those documents that would show their involement. If they were innocent, they would have gladly shown them and end the suspicions, but they chose to hide and cover up.

    Obama bypasses Congress again and gives 800,000 illegals amnesty and job permits as he forgets about the 20 million legal Americans unemployed who need jobs. One scandal after an other goes on, with Obama, latest now is allowing gay activists in the White House for Gay Pride Day and they end up using shameful, obscene demonstration speeches and using obscene jesters towards the late President Ronald Reagan, calling him fowl names and making a mockery of the White House. The First Family stands and witnesses it all and approves of it, as they do not mention a word of it to any liberal media outlet, but it is all over talk radio and internet showing the photo’s and gay, rowdy paranoid, hate comments in the White House.

        If you want to know how to interpret the Constitution, I suggest that you go back and read what the founders had to say about the document ….which “they” wrote…I’m pretty sure that they expressed in the other writings…what they did and why they did it….after all…they ..wrote the document. I care not how someone other than the wiriters of the document decided to “interpret the founders words”….only the founders opinions actually matter…. The Sureme court is not all knowing…nor are they infallable…they are human beings..subject to flaws in thinking…not to mention, over the years many previous SC rulings…have been overturned. I do realize that some of you folks seem to think the SC is the final word on everything…you would be incorrect in you thinking….time for you to re-ajust that thinking.

When you hear them saying they’ve handed over documents, it’s true; they did; now if you can read through black marker, you might get somewhere. Because to say they were pretty much all redacted is putting it lightly. These slimy little snakes are working overtime to hide their slimy little plan.

    This is not a joke, and the name of the O ficial website is Obama Event Registry. People are going ape over this. Drudge has a link to a site called Weasel Zipper, and the last I looked, about fifteen minutes ago, the comments have doubled since about midnight.
    The comments on the O site are unbelievable, and apparently they had to take the site down at one point yesterday. One commentor said they dumped about a thousand statements.

      you say all repubs are arrogant and greedy. well i’m the exception to that. i was thinking this morning, while delivering papers, pal, talk about greedy, hah? and newspapers taxis are the lowest of the low in terms of employment status. anyway, back a couple decades or more you could always tell the repub homes: fine, expensive and stylish, with grass instead of weeds. the dems lived in 2 bedroom row houses, described that way because when they surveyed the lots they just set up the transit and every 60 feet they drove in a stake. i know, i did it. for money, being so greedy. now you can’t tell who’s who by their houses. i delivered papers to recall walker houses with 3 bay garages and 5 bedrooms. their 3 season rooms have more square footage than my trailer. now that’s not being greedy, is it. these are the same people who say, money isn’t everything, until you say they have to start paying in for their retirement. geez, all of a sudden money is important after all, but you see, they have $600 heating bills with their ahem nongreedy homes. of course they’re not arrogant, not with houses like that. and they don’t tip, either.

      dgligh8, before you make try inferences from history, you’d better learn history. George H. W. Bush served only one term (4 years), and his son George W. served two terms (8 years). Just so you don’t have to struggle with the arithmetic, that’s 4+8 =12, not 16.

      By the way, Harry Reid has been in the Senate continuously since 1986. If one accepts the premise to your argument, it seems at least as reasonable to conclude that since he’s had more time to damage the country than the Bush family, he probably has done more harm.

      More historical facts: Mr. Obama has not only borrowed more money ($5.8 trillion) in three years than George W. Bush did in eight ($4.2 trillion), he’s borrowed more money than the entire national debt accumulated in 224 years (($5.7 trillion from 1776-2000). Nor can this all be blamed on “Bush’s wars”, total defense spending in the last three years has been about $2 trillion. A considerable amount of the borrowed money has been flat out wasted; it has not purchased anything of lasting value. “Fast and Furious’ is one example – a bad idea, poorly managed, and literally fatally flawed. Other examples include many so-called “stimulus projects” that amounted to little more than payback for political contributors and loans so risky they could not even be rated “sub-prime” (I think the terms bankers use for this category of loans range from “speculative’ to “idiotic” as in “Only an idiot would lend money for those ventures”).

    Since millionaires were the main topic it’s odd that Romney wasn’t mentioned and how he received those generous dollars. Let’s see Obama wrote 2 books in the US which made him money and a provided jobs for publishers and bookstores. Romney cannabalized jobs in the US and worked with companies that sent jobs overseas. The Bain Company which Romney founded was a key player in sending jobs overseas.Call Centers and Computer Manufacturers were his specialty. Lately Romney pledged”he would protect American employment by getting tough on China”. Pray tell how is he going to bring all those jobs back that he helped send out. Bain wasn’t the largest firm to make money by looking for cheap labor but was one of the first to do so. Bain was an active shareholder in Stream and helped run that company which also outsourced work. Then came Modus Media Inc. which Bain was the largest shareholder. They actively went out and encouraged US Corporations to relocate overseas. That would include IBM,Dell,HP and Sun Micro. Did those three Bain executive on the Modus board have anything to do with Americas job loss

Which means the so called “coverup” may be in the interest of “National Security.” I think we have a “bay of pigs” situation rather than any kind of real scandal. On one of my first wittnessin’ excursions, I ran into this guy who asked me if I knew who built the chuches, starting to get used to the ridicule, I asked, “Who built the churches Buddy?” I was expecting some kinda stupid punch line when he looked me square in the eye, and with the straightest of faces he said “Satan.”, “What in the hell do you mean Satan built the churches?!”, I angrily asked! “To keep God’s Word on the inside.”, he matter of factly replied. THAT made me think, DAMN! He’s right!!! Then I started learning about the Freemasons and found out just how right he was! LOL!!! This is the USofA and my 1st Amendment rights don’t just apply to me while I’m in God’s House! I’m willin’ to FIGHT and DIE for those rights big boy, are you willin’ to FIGHT and DIE to try and take them away?!! I sho the hell HOPE so son!!! It’s ALMOST time!

        I’m not sure who the first person was to ascribe new meaning to this passage, but it seems the Socialists liked the new meaning (i.e. guaranteeing the non-producing “entitlement class” cell phones, deluxe residences, plasma tv’s, etc at the expense of the working class). Yes, we were created equally by our Creator, but that does NOT mean the government has the right to redistribute “wealth”. The govt is supposed to protect our lives from threats (foreign & domestic), allow us our Liberty or Freedom (provided we don’t do anything to harm someone else or their property), and the Right to PURSUE Happiness.         As I mentioned in a previous post, The Reagan years brought great prosperity to me personally, as I doubled my salary in just one year, and started earning the type of money that a college graduate deserves and demands. Sorry if you floundered. That’s a bit of a stretch to label a great man (who has an International Airport and an aircraft carrier named in his honor) as a criminal. The real criminal is Barack Hussein Obama who refuses to enforce our immigration laws. If he can bypass congress to selectively enforce our laws, then I suppose a Republican president can do the same thing and not enforce Capital Gains tax and order the IRS to look the other way. Look what your alternatives were against Reagan. A peanut farmer who gave the Panama Canal away after the USA and France spent millions constructing it, along with thousands of French, American, and Jamaican lives that were lost. And then you got an idiot senator from Minnesota who said “My opponent won’t admit he’ll raise taxes but I just did”. This led to the biggest trouncing in American history as Mondale won only his own state and Reagan carried all the other 49, including California and New York.Now Obama is asking newlyweds to have their guests make a donation to his campaign in lieu of receiving wedding gifts. What a joke!
