Romney Tells Obama To ‘Suck It Up’

In a recent interview with Bill Cunningham on WLW radio in Ohio, Republican Presidential nominee Mitt Romney expressed frustration with President Barack Obama’s jet-setting, leisurely lifestyle.
“Do you think the President’s example was followed by the GSA [General Services Administration] in recent scandals about the Las Vegas trips and more? Is that a good example for government federal employees to have as their President when he plays so much golf and vacations so much?” asked Cunningham.
Romney answered: “I must admit, I scratch my head at the capacity of the President to take four hours off on such a regular basis to go golfing. I remember how the Democrats used to be so critical of George W. Bush for playing occasional golf. He doesn’t begin to play the kind of golf that Barack Obama has, but we don’t hear much about that from the mainstream media. I would think you could kind of suck it up for four years, particularly when the American people are out of work.”
Cunningham asked Romney to “make a commitment… that when you’re the President that your family will not take vacations to such an extent … and that you will not take a salary until you have a balanced budget.”
Romney responded: “You’ve got some good ideas. I’ll give them consideration.”
