Goldman Sachs is the ghost over America, and it is a proxy for the elite crime that has wrecked the country and impoverished the middle class.

Goldman Sachs rules the world for the 1 percent.

The U.S. political system — indeed, that of the whole world — is dysfunctional because it is run by Goldman Sachs for Goldman Sachs. It is well-known that Goldman Sachs recommended stocks related to the housing mortgage mania at the same time that it shorted the stocks. Nobody goes to jail, and there are only hand slaps from the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Because of the heavy influence of Goldman Sachs in our government and in governments around the world, it operates above the law and takes every advantage for its own people. This is getting to be public knowledge, but the American people are paralyzed as far as any action by the lapdog U.S. Congress. There is nowhere for the people to turn in a nationwide system of organized crime under the aegis of private investment banks. The recent collapse and bankruptcy of MF Global is a huge factor in eroding public confidence. It appears that client funds (investors), even though segregated, were used to speculate for MF Global’s own account.

Jon Corzine, who ran MF Global into the ground, losing vast sums of investor funds, told a Congressional committee that he “didn’t know where the money went.”

Corzine is a former CEO of Goldman Sachs and a former Governor of New Jersey, a bankrupt State. Some people believe Corzine is in line to be the next U.S. Secretary of the Treasury in the Obama Administration.

The likes of Corzine, Raj Rajaratnam, Bernie Madoff, Rajat Gupta and a legion of legal gangsters are gaming the system to enrich the Wall Street club. When widespread corruption is on the public stage, how long before the collapse of the whole system?

The pied pipers of Babylon have no clothes and they have no shame. They fear no prosecution because they are the privileged elite. These are the same people who ghostwrite things such as the recent 2012 National Defense Authorization Act and then turn the military loose on the American people whom they brand “terrorists and extremists.”

They are not oblivious to the coming economic collapse and the fact that they may be victims of the wrath of oppressed Americans and subject to public hanging. This is the expected pattern that develops in the chaos and crisis of the collapse of a despotic government. All this is in the next chapter of the default of national governments. It is already beginning for those who have eyes to see. All that is needed now is the trigger.

Goldman Sachs doesn’t stop at the U.S. border. Mario Monti, the new Prime Minister of Italy, the new European Central Bank President Mario Draghi and the freshly appointed Greek Prime Minister Lucas Papademos are all Goldman Sachs alumni. Add to this Petros Christodoulos, Chairman of Greece’s Public Debt Management Agency, who is a former trader for Goldman Sachs in London. This Goldman Sachs network goes on and on all over Europe.

The following is quoted from Marc Faber in his Gloom, Boom & Doom Report of Dec. 31:

Two other heavyweight members of Goldman’s European network have also figured large in the euro crisis: Otmar Issing, a former member of the Bundesbank board of directors and a one-time chief economist of the European Central Bank, and Ireland’s Peter Sutherland, an administrator for Goldman Sachs International, who played a behind the scenes role in the Irish bailout.

Marc Roche then goes on to explain that Goldman Sachs’ trading room benefitted from this “capital of relationships.” That may certainly have been the case, but we need to put this network of “friends” in the proper perspective. The other large financial institutions, and for that matter all major corporations, also have their “friends” in high places, plus their lobbyists who can influence the legislative process. In addition, judged by the performance of Goldman Sachs’ stock, the investment bank’s connections have lately been less useful. So, I am not a member of the Goldman Sachs detractor fraternity, as I know well that Goldman only did what all the other financial institutions have done, which is to use the dysfunctional political system and the money-printing central banks to their advantage. However, I will say that Goldman Sachs perfected the art and was therefore better at it.

The point I am driving at is that a reckless meritocracy creates an enormous economic and political mess. Yet, investors are looking at the very same people to solve the problems by implementing appropriate fiscal and monetary policies. But, if one looks carefully at the proposed measures (mostly money printing), it is apparent that they will merely postpone remedying the structural problems and not solve them. I have mentioned this because I see an increasing number of pundits who advocate money printing as the only solution to the problem of bank insolvencies.

    Goldman/sachs is I believe one of the original owners of the Federal Reserve Bank. (which is not federal, has no reserves and is not a bank) the Fed has been robbing this country blind since 1913 when it was created unconstitutionally by a Republican Coingress and a Democrat president.(Woodrow Wilson) The US Supreme court ruled in I believe US vs. Bollard that it is unconstitutional for congress to change the constitution with legislation. We the People gave Congress and Congress alone the power to coin (not print) money. the Congress has no authority to give that power to another entity such as the Federal Resertve.

    The question is — Will the uninformed public use this kind of information to misguidedly advocate for more Government, when in fact it is a result of too much Government providing cover for the Goldman Sachs types of Crony Capitalists?
    What we need is to get Government out of the Marketplace so they can’t provide the Crony Capitalists with special protections via subsidies, regulations, tariffs, quotas, and the other gimmicks used by Crony Politicians to favor their Crony Capitalists at the expense of their smaller competitors, their customers, and the taxpayers.

      There is no such thing as a “free” market when you have different forms of Gov, economic systems and currencies. Leaving a market with no gov regs leads to monopolies and market collusion. Both are bad for people, workers and ultiomately the country.

        No, that is not what i am saying…. I think a combination of the two work best. Some things the Gov does better… Space exploration, the creation of the internet, the interstate highway system could not happen without the Gov.

        There has to be a good and competitive environment to make a better wheel (capitalism) but the Gov should act as a check against the abuses of corporations and unions.

Tell me how in a completely free market economy how no company would ever buy another company or companies would never collude to stop a new company from bringing a competitive product to market.

        Tell me which country that there has been no interference in the economy and prove that success.

        No, Dave, the burden of proof is on you. Since a monopoly has never existed in this country without the aid of Government, I would say that you are going to have a hard time proving it.
        There is absolutely no way any company could secure a monopoly without using the Force of Government, or operating so efficiently that no other company of people could compete against them. In the latter case, we would all benefit. But to imagine a company being so exclusively possessive of such superior intellect and prognosticative powers is something only a blindered Liberal could do.

In the past…proud to be a citizen of the US and pleased that my immigrant parents came here from Russia and Lithuania to give us freedom and opportunity. I was a teacher in public and private “special” schools, a committeewoman for years, chairman of the League of women voters and a Health Education Director of a YWCA. I am 8O years old. After losing a lot of my investments in
    the “downturn,” getting ripped off by insurance companies–not getting long term care for a sick husband (who died) and not getting insurance after he paid into it for 46 years (was too sick to make the last huge pavement)…I AM AS ANGRY AND YOU CAN GET! I put together a Facebook web site to tell others to BE ALERT, PAY ATTENTION AND FIND WAYS TO SAVE THEMSELVES. I am not too smart at the social marketing stuff and see that it has limited range. It really “bugs” me that so many self serving men and women from Wall Street, politicians and some business people are so, so greedy…not caring how so many are suffering. The only solution I can see is that we all have to continue putting their names “out there”… but that has it’s dangers too. Like the current political campaign–which is a complete garbage dump–some nasty people can put out false information on some people. And to think…my whole life, I was brought up with the idea that “justice will triumph.” UGH! I am giving people ideas online that I had never thought about my whole live…like ditching our good ole USA for other shores. Maybe…with the new patriot act…I will be considered a threat. Can’t you see them dragging this little old lady with white hair to Guantanamo. It is conceivable…with the way things are going these days…..

      Jeanne Goldberg, I believe that this was a great country to come to at one time or both of us wouldn’t be here but, it is disheartening and maddening to know that you’ve been lied to all of your life. Where would you go where this crazy system doesn’t have a tentacle into? If you’re going to leave you probably should do it as soon as possible because they’ll close the ports one day like they did in Germany and the enemies of the state will be trapped here and will be ripe for the picking.

      God has nothing to do with this. This situation was created by men and only men can deal with it. I wish people would take ownership of the world they create instead of using “god” as a crutch to make excuses for millenia of bad behavior. Was god on our side when slavery was legal? When we slaughtered the indigienous people of North America for “manifest destiny”? Believe god or some higher power is around but this situation is all man made and so is the solution.

        Dave, I know you mean well, and wouldn’t it be wonderful if there was a God to handle all of our problems. In my eighty years of living, I have been ripped off by more “God fearing”
        people than atheists. My bet is that all the greedy crooks go to some kind of religious service…contribute to their church, synagogue or Mosque and during the rest of the time they do business “as usual.” The best part of the way you feel is that being religious is good for YOUR body and mind–if you are inclined toward kindness, not wrath. Being religious–Mother Theresa style–is healthy physiologically and can give you positive ani-stress benefits. I think Bob Livingston–a lifelong health expert–could concur with that. As for GOD being the solution, you need to be a little careful about your view there. I have read a lot about the “neurobiology of religious terrorism.” and if you check on it you will find that most of the religious terrorists–whether Christian, Jewish or Muslim–feel that GOD is inside of them…approving and instructing them to do what they do. That is why they all can kill the innocent along with the guilty. They feel confident…lead by God…they
        are doing the right thing.

        I’m an Atheist, and I’m a lot more afraid of the Godless Progressives than I am of the God-fearing religious people. At least the religions are trying to teach morality. Whether the followers listen to the preaching or not is another matter. On the contrary, Progressives are teaching Immorality disguised as “Fairness” or “Equality” or whatever other flowery terms they can use to disguise their true nature — that of self-centered behavior and Power over others.
        I will take my chances with Religious people over the anti-Freedom, economy-killing Big Government Progressives any day of the week.

        that “God will provide.” The best part of that thinking is that it gives them hope. The worst part is–if they take no action to solve the problem(s) they are dealing with, the problems continue. We have learned that all the greedy, the crooks and their associates have “strategies” for their financial success…whether it be lobbys, payoffs, parties, false advertising, spinning, cheating, lying, hiding information, controlling media…whatever. People who want to solve our very serious problems need to do more than pray…they need to overcome the huge mountain of influence their opponents have and need to selectively strategize to chip pieces off the mountain of influence piece by piece. We must remember that old, but real view….if you are not part of the solution, you are (or can be) part of the problem. You help it continue by doing nothing about it but hope.

        Dave H is only partially right since Progressives/Liberals are fighting for Freedom and Liberty all the time. They go out of their way to see that their fellow man has equal rights and that the playing field is leveled for all to have equal Opportunity.So you are very wrong on that account. Are there those who are extreme and think the government is their sugar daddy with an endless pocketbook. You are correct from that angle. There are also oodles of Capitalists on Wall Street and on Main street who will also take free money from you and exploit the economy and even the government itself. I don’t see many saints in that bunch anymore and Goldman Sacs may or may not be leading that charge. There are way too many opportunists anymore to know who is shafting whom. I see immorality on both sides of the economic and social scheme of things so laying it all on Progressives is shallow and insincere. When it come to wars in America it is Christians who seem to rally for unnecessarily conflicts faster than liberals do. As a Christian I am saddened how easy it is for them to turn to religious doomsday scenerios as an excuse to attack any nation.

        Say I, a businessman, want to build a baseball stadium and I have all but three properties in an area to build. Now I don’t want to pay what those properties are worth. well, I go to the city and sell them my plan. now we come in, TAKE your property at below current values, build the stadium, and now you are out, the city has a fifteen million dollar bill for a twelve million dollar stadium and are real close to bankruptcy! We have to cut police, firemen, services to the city, and RAISE TAXES!! THAT’S the type of government interferance I want to see gotten rid of! this couldn’t happen??? Communism are all forms of economic systems that can and have been corrupted by the human conditions of greed, lust, jealousy, laziness, and apathy. No one system is perfect. There needs to be a system of checks and balances to guard against abuse.

        Our system of checks and balances have been corrupted by big corp money in the process electing our “leaders” The road to our economic fall was paved a long time before Obama even thought of public service as his destiny.         Obama’s daddy was not a US citizen and Obama’s mother would have had to have lived ten (10) years in the U.S., five (5) of which were after she reached the age of fourteen (14). At the time of Obama’s birth, his mother was only eighteen (18), and therefore did not meet the residency requirements under the law to give her son (Obama) U.S. Citizenship. Obama could only have become a U.S. citizen if naturalized, and a naturalized citizen is not qualified and/or eligible to run for the office of President of the United States. U.S. Constitution, Article II, Section I.

        Sure Flashy errr Dave67…whatever you say. …once again, Obama is not a “natural born” citizen and therefore is not eligable to be POTUS…When Obama was born he was not a “natural born citizen” since both parents of a child must be citizens at the time of birth of the child in order for the child to be a “natural born” citizen. In addition to the requirement as to the parents citizenship status, the child must also be born in the USA. Obama may be a “born citizen” depending on the evidence in Hawaii. But “born” is NOT synonymous with “natural born”.

        One more time…Both parents must be citizens at the time of birth of the child in the USA for the child to be a “natural born citizen” per our Constitution’s framers intent and the “natural law”, as codified by Vattel in 1758 in his legal reference treatise, “The Law of Nations or Principles of Natural Law”. The “divided loyalties” concerns of the framers of a person who is selected to serve as our President and Commander-in-Chief of our military comes into play. Thus the framers required a “natural born” citizen only mandate in the U.S. Constitution for the Office of President and Commander-in-Chief of our military.

We must still have the courts remove him for fraud. two of the rules of law concerning fraud are 1. there ios no statute of limitations on fraud. Obama can be prosecuted long after he leaves office. 2. when fraud is commited it is fraud (ab initio) from the beginning. basically this means that when fraud has been commited any thing that happens after the initial fraud is automatically null and void (fraudulent) as it was based on the initial fraud. every thing he signed or did will be overturned. if he is empeached it will give Obama the appearance of being legitament.

    10 banks in the United States own 77% of the deposits in this country after the meltdown.

    The banks, wall street and their lobbyists created the mess via deregulation. For their destruction of our econoomy what was their punishment? 2 bailouts totalling over 1T dollars, no caps on exec bonuses and salary and now they are even bigger than they were before the meltdown. Hank Paulson, Tim Geithner and Reagan’s man in the Fed are all former Goldman people.

    What should be happening now is that now that markets are calm, the US gov should be methodically breaking up all of the banks so they are no longer “too big to fail”. Is that what is happening now? No…Have any charges been filed against anyone from Goldman, BofA, Smith Barney, Citigroup from the fraud they committed? No… Why? Because if you look at the big money donors to both parties, you will see the big banks as a common thread in both parties. The GOP are bold and stupid enough to try and tell us part of the problem is too much regulation. Is that was sunk the housing market? Too much regulation? No, it was too little regulation and too little enforcement of regulations that were in place because a few people were making too much money and had their own selfish interests ahead of the good of the country.

    Vote out both parties, get people in there that will get big money out of the political process, break up thse banks and put strict regulations so they cannot defraud this country again.

      Thanks Dave67 someone who gets it with a clearer message along with the author. My wife had a few Goldman Sacs stocks and they were doing well compared to the market as a whole 3 years ago. Yet I didn’t like how they were involved in Wall Street manipulation and how they influenced Washington. I told her we need to buy with integrity and there are several other trustworthy companies. Last year she finally moved her account out of Goldman Sacs and I say good riddance. Moral decay will continue on Wall Street and Washington but it doesn’t mean we can’t try and fix it. At least in separating the two and how they control each other.

      The problem is too much regulation. The problem is that the large corporations/banks write most of the regulations to limit competition. This is what creates “too big to fail”. Then the big banks/corporations fill spots on the regulatory commissions and give donations to the politicians to insure favorable regulations. If we got rid of the regulations and the welfare state, and limited our government to the enumerated powers, there would be almost nothing for which to lobby. Free competition, instead of crony capitalism, would give the best service for the lowest price and our economy would grow. Businesses that acted immorally would be avoided and therefore go out of business. Currently government “regulation” actually encourages the bad behavior that you abhorr.

        When regulation is paid for by the big monied interests that are supposed to be regulated, that is a serious problem. Having no regulation will lead to monoplies and serious collusion in the marketplace and a decline in working conditions in this country because pandora’s box has been opened (Free trade with countries that pay their workers nothing and they do not have worker environmental protections we have).

        Gov should be acting as a neutral actor inside the country and a advocate for US businesses to other countries. Gov should act as a guard against abuses of the system from both business and whatever is left of the unions in this country.

        The real villan is the money that buys the gov. We need to get rid of that influence. What you advocate is simply not attainable or realistic in the global marketplace.

        If you want a really good book (fiction) that makes you really think about what we might have to sacrifice if we really care about liberty, you should read “Molon Labe”. Although I definitely don’t agree with all of the suggestions in the book, it is really useful to think about what it would take to get liberty and what we would be willing to do/sacrifice to earn it.

The only answer is to get back to the wisdom of our Founders, especially Thomas Jefferson, and to shrink the size of Government dramatically. Government should exist mainly (if at all) to protect us from the Force and Fraud of others, and that is all.         What we need now is someone with the cajones to bring down the Obama Administration. You know, he is not a natural born American. He is using someone elses SSN. If this can be done, all of his rules, laws, regulations and executive orders will be null and void. Sheriff Arpaio in Az is doing all that he can but fighting these powers is very hard to do.         You are correct in that the Arab Spring uprising is underwritten by the Rothschild family. Their intent is to remove dictators not onboard with their world domination agenda. They want instead, democratic style politicians who are easily turnable for a buck/dollar. This sort of persuasion was off the table when dealing with the likes of Saddam Hussein, Hozni Mubarak, Muamar Ghadafi and others who feel they own the land, it’s people and all the natural resources contained within their borders.

        The newly elected Muslim Brotherhood politicians/dictators, call them as you will, are also being played. The Rothschilds have led them to believe that they will be allowed to rule in a manner of their own choosing, but the Rothschilds know from experience and understanding of human nature that the newly elected politicians are prone to accepting monetary incentives in return for consenting to the crawling progression of world domination and the surrendering of sovereignity policies which in no way was possible with the prior dictatorships.

      Thanks PJ. I just watched the trailer. I guess I gotta spend the nickle to watch the movie. I definately will. I’m not sure what’s going on but something big is happening. I started blogging a few months ago with physicist’s and the like trying to find out why after 100 years they couldn’t negotiate quantum gravity with Einstein’s theories and I came across Nassim Haramein and got the answers I needed. Then seperately I started blogging on political sites and getting into these great discussions wanting to find out what’s really going on in the world. Now, somehow I find that the two are very significant and related to each other. There is definately some kind of global conciousness that is leading to a paradigm shift in the way that mankind thinks. It’s moving away from it’s self-serving greedy ways to a higher level/ knowledge sharing kinda way. Something’s going on.

        I have watched Thrive five times. Twice by myself because I wanted to see what I missed while watching with others and sharing while watching. I was able to get the “free” version before they actually released the DVD. Since then, I have purchased two DVD’S from them. A Blue Ray and a Standard because I feel I have to share this with as many folks as possible. I realize that the production must cost a fortune to make and wanted to support the effort of the producers. I’d HIGHLY recommend to purchase the DVD and show your friends, family, neighbors and any one else you can. I have even sent copies of the “free version” to folks to help them wake up. It is well worth the cost!

        I’ve been blogging on this site for over two years to tell you all this, and it seems no one seemed to care or appreciate what has happened to us. Goldman has made our government irrelevant, they want the huge tax breaks, the executives take their pay at the capital gains rate of 15%, and in so doing, don’t even pay Medicare or Social Security taxes like the rest of us citizens. Many of them manipulated the system, with the help of the congressmen and women they bought, to pay absolutely no tax at all while taking home billions. Yes, these are the guys who sold crap out the front door, leveraged against what they sold out the back door, wrecked the economy, got huge bailout funds (some say in the trillions) at no interest, and continued these shady practices. They made nothing, scooped out money as it went by, of course bought a lot of yachts/private jets/AstonMartins and McMansions, but the rest of us got screwed. These guys aren’t Steve Jobs of Apple, or Irv Jacobs of Qualcomm, or Bill Gates of MicroSoft; these are the money changers at the Temple of Greed, financial prostitutes, and that is why the 99%ers are right to be angry. The morality and viability of our nation has been ruined by the likes of the Goldmans, and we had better wake up, vote out their cronies in the House and Senate, prevent them from controlling SuperPacs ( which will require a revisit to the Supreme Court or a Constitutional Amendment outlawing corporations as people, and get the vote and control of our government back to the voters/citizens. Ask for full disclosure from your congressmen and senators regarding their association with these guys and their lobbyists.         That’s the point. OWS was created to have no cause when it was originally set up as an American Arab Spring. The organizers told protesters every morning to go out and cause civil disobedience and try to claim police brutality. The organizers even wrote a free attorney’s phone number down on their arms if they did get arrested. They were the new blackshirts that were trained to turn peaceful protests into riots.

        But it’s easy to protect the grandmother’s right to peaceful protest. Stop the blackshirts by filming any law breakers and turn the videos immediately over to the FBI and the Police.

      In my humble but much researched opinion, GoldmanSachs ( and JP Morgan, HSBC, and friends) have literally “financially raped” the world , in particular with Interest Rate Swaps. The Fed(Big Banks) control and set interest rates and work in cahoots with the other Big Banks. Interest Rate Swaps were created and sold all over the world with this kind of a selling play “Have we got a deal for you!!! Interest rates are at near historic lows! WHAT are the chances of rates going any lower(They absolutely KNEW RATES WERE going HIGHER because they(big banks and buddies) SET THEM!!!!!! These “Thieves” (Banksters) are making RECORD PROFITS while the rest of the world is being financially raped, BY DESIGN!!!!!!!~! Oh yes!!! Look who basically RUNS the US gov’t!!! that is right!!!! the #1 Democratic Campaign contributor, GOLDMANSACHS!!!       Another excellent source of information about what is going on is the book “The Creature From Jekyll Island” by Edward Griffin. It tells the whole nasty story about the birth of the Fed and how the Fed and the banks have run an unbelievable scam on America since 1913. The house of cards that they have created is barely holding together…The banks have a good little game going. They make a profit, they keep it. They gamble or push their luck too far and have a loss, the taxpayers make it up. Nice, huh? We are in trouble, deep trouble….
