The Best President Money Can Buy

As the American housing bubble collapse and financial meltdown accelerated in the fall of 2008, the political ruling class and their bankster masters put together a plan to save themselves from the crisis they created. They decided to scare everyone silly by claiming the banksters were too important to “fail,” and to loot the middle class to refill their coffers.

Never mind that small businesses would fail by the hundreds of thousands. Never mind that millions of homeowners — caught up in euphoria over the artificial inflation of home values — would lose everything they owned, along with their jobs. Never mind that the retirement funds of millions of seniors would evaporate.

The banksters were guaranteed safe haven and political elites were more than willing to take the heat from the proletariat which, by a margin of 3-1, opposed using taxpayer money and/or Federal Reserve funny money to keep the banksters fat and happy. Sure, it cost a few of them their political seats. The rise of the Tea Party — in its original form, before it was assimilated by the Republican Party Borg collective — saw to that. But no worry, K Street had plenty of openings available for its former Congressional lapdogs.

Americans grumbled about the bailouts, stimulus, money printing, etc., and continue to do so to this day. Yet they willingly line up to support the banksters’ Presidential candidates and resign themselves — because the bankster-controlled media tell them it is so — to the fact that their choices are between bankster incumbent candidate Barack Obama and bankster challenger Mitt Romney. They never look behind the curtain.

Article continued below…

The Greatest Government Cover-up Ever

The subprime mortgage market collapsed…financial institutions across the country failed… unemployment skyrocketed… and America was catapulted into the biggest financial crisis of all time. But what really happened? And why is our government distorting—and even deliberately covering up—the seriousness of the current financial situation? What are they trying to hide from you?

To get the truth about the financial crisis—and discover the simple steps you need to take in order to survive it—click here now.

Goldman Sachs rules the world, so it owns the leading candidates from each party — as it did in the past election and the one before that. And much of what Goldman Sachs and the other “too big to fails” are spending can be considered money looted directly from the American middle class — especially now that we know the Fed passed another $16 trillion to money gangsters around the globe that no one knew about at the time.

Meanwhile, Goldman Sachs and other banksters operate above the law. It is now common knowledge that Goldman Sachs recommended to its investors that they invest in stocks related to the housing mortgage mania while at the same time Goldman Sachs and other banksters were shorting the market. Additionally, when State attorneys general tried to step in and prosecute various banksters and their related partners in crime, Federal agents intervened and halted prosecutions and civil court actions, as I noted in my book, Robbed Blind! Who’s Really to Blame for America’s Economic Crisis?

Romney has raised $32.2 million in campaign cash. His major contributors are the banksters Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse Group, Morgan Stanley, HIG Capital, Barclays, Bank of America, JP Morgan & Chase, USB AG, Wells Fargo, Blackstone Group, Citigroup, sundry Wall Street fat cats and his former firm, Bain & Co.

Obama reports having raised about $86.2 million in campaign cash. And while Goldman Sachs itself hasn’t given Obama as much as it has Romney, the “1 percent” hasn’t been shy about donating its cash to keep Obama on board. Securities and investment firms are No. 2 on Obama’s list of bundlers — right behind trial lawyers. In addition to Goldman Sachs, there’s the bankrupt MF Global (which can’t find investor’s money but did find enough to give Obama more than $900,000), Centerview Partners (who has Goldman Sachs’ Robert Rubin as counselor), UBS Americas and Barclays Capital. And as an aside, Jon Corzine, former Goldman Sachs CEO, bankrupted MF Global while CEO of that company, and he also bankrupted the State of New Jersey while Governor.

When another “financial crisis” comes along, who do you think is going to get the best seat at the bailout table?

You may remember that in 2008, as the campaign between Obama and Senator John McCain was at its zenith, McCain inexplicably suspended his campaigning to return to Washington to save the financial system. It was a gimmick that failed to produce any results except to make McCain look more ridiculous than he already did. It probably sank his campaign, but it pleased his masters.

When you realize his top contributors were Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan & Chase, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Wachovia, UBS AG, Credit Suisse Group, Bank of America and Lehman Brothers, you can see what I mean.

That fall, Obama also supported — and as Senator voted for — TARP and bailouts passed by Congress. Care to guess who’s listed among his top contributors from 2008? That’s right: Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan & Chase, Citigroup, UBS AG and Morgan Stanley.

And who financed George W. Bush’s re-election campaign in 2004? If you guessed Morgan Stanley, Merrill Lynch, UBS AG, Goldman Sachs, Lehman Brothers, MBNA Corp., Credit Suisse Group, Citigroup, Bear Stearns, Wachovia and Bank of America, give yourself a prize. And remember: Bush’s Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson, formerly of Goldman Sachs, devised the plan to loot taxpayers to save his buddies’ fortunes.

Bush’s 2004 opponent, Senator John Kerry, was likewise owned by Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, UBS AG, JP Morgan & Chase and Morgan Stanley.

In addition to controlling America’s political system, banksters, particularly Goldman Sachs, control the European political system as well. Former Goldman Sachs executive Mario Monti is now prime minister of Italy and former Goldman Sachs executive Mario Draghi is president of the European Central Bank. Other former Goldman Sachs alums of prominence are new Greek Prime Minister Lucas Pademos, and Petros Christodoulos, chairman of Greek’s Public Debt Management Agency.

And Marc Faber points out in his Dec. 31 Gloom, Boom & Doom Report that two other Goldman Sachs alums  have figured large in the European debt crisis: Otmar Issing, a one-time chief economist for the European Central Bank; and Peter Sutherland, who played a behind-the-scenes role in the Irish bailout.

It seems that the destruction of the middle class follows in the wake of Goldman Sachs’ influence on the political system. And here we have Americans once again seemingly facing a choice of one Goldman Sachs/bankster puppet or another in front-runner and Republican establishment choice Romney or Obama.

If Americans continue to “settle” for the most electable candidate — and that’s most electable according to the propaganda spouted daily by the banksters’ media mouthpieces – they will have to continue settling for having a bankster’s hand in their pockets. That is, until the banksters collapse the system completely and we get a chance to start over.

Whenever I or anyone else points out that there is an elite cabal of banksters that control the world, we are branded conspiracy theorists and kooks. But anyone with half a brain who looks honestly at the world situation can see that the world’s political systems — and most especially that of the United States — are controlled by Goldman Sachs for the benefit of Goldman Sachs.

Working behind the scenes, banksters and a cabal of donors and bundlers write the legislation that benefits the 1 percent to the detriment of the middle class. That’s why — campaign rhetoric aside — policy never changes, regardless of which party is in charge.

The only changes are which group gets the best seat at the table and gets to decide which scraps get thrown to the proles (aka the American middle class). And that’s why both sides support liberty-stealing legislation like the National Defense Authorization Act, the Stop Online Piracy Act, the Protect IP Act, the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, and the USA Patriot Act.

A vote for either Romney or Obama is a vote for Goldman Sachs and the world’s elites. And a vote for faux conservatives Newt Gingrich or Rick Santorum is a throwaway vote, as neither has a snowball’s chance of winning: Gingrich because of his serious character flaws (which he only temporarily put off answering for after his feigned indignation during Thursday’s debate), and Santorum because he has no national organization and no ability to raise money (he reported only a paltry $1.28 million total in his last filing, which hardly buys lunch for Romney or Obama and their entourages).

There is only one candidate who can break the stranglehold the banksters have on the U.S. political system, and it’s the only candidate who predicted the 2008 crash years ahead of time, the only candidate who is willing to challenge — and end — the Federal Reserve, and the only candidate not owned lock, stock and barrel by the banksters. His name is Ron Paul, and he’s the last chance we’ll have to save the Republic.

There are some good posts here! However, I fee sad for those who will deny the truth of this article and that, I agree, the only and last hope for this country, at least in any foreseeable future, is Ron Paul. Americans have been brainwashed by the media, to accept this ruling class, for it is such, since we have a large group of people, the typical American, the middle class, who do all the work ,and then you have a very small “elite” who tell us what to do and spend our money (take away from us our labor). It’s a rude awakening, dear citizen, but the facts are there with just a precursory look! No need to do any research! Here is an example of the brainwashing, the level at which we have been convinced of “unreality”! I ask many people to vote for a candidate who would work towards and eliminate, federal taxes. But inevitably, I am told that taxes “must” exit for the government to function. I point out that no direct taxes existed 100 years ago, and we got along fine. Then I ask them if they would pay taxes if they did not have to, and of course, they say no. I man who would? Sounds like brainwashing to me as most citizens have two opposing views yet they will hold both simultaneously and consider it a rational thought.
SO why don’t they vote for a candidate who will allow them to not pay taxes? They just can’t do that! Are we not “the people” and can we not vote ourselves a “raise” if we want to? Why we are so concerned about the politician’s “feelings” and thus we refuse to look after OUR best interests when voting for a candidate? The politicians certainly don’t care about OUR feelings nor our freedoms nor about our labor, do they? So why are people so worried about the treasonous politician’s feelings? When you finally realize that you have lost your freedoms, as you gradually allowed the politicians to erode them from you, it will be too late to act, and we would have betrayed our founding fathers, and all those others over the years, who have shed their blood to gain our freedom, those freedoms which we so callously threw away, because it had not cost us anything, but you will find yourself paying dearly, when those freedoms are vanquished

    • Sunshine49

I agree with what you are saying. I just sent this video by Newsmax to my friends and family about the meltdown of main street: http://w3.newsmax.com/a/meltdown/video49.cfm?s=al&promo_code=DFAC-1

It’s an ad by a financial group but the statistics in it are enough to make you sick. Exactly the stuff that Ron Paul is fighting against like taxes and the Federal Reserve.

None of the other politicians will “change” any of this. Of course they will throw us a couple of bones to make us think they are “attempting” to change things — but as usual they won’t change anything.

      Thanks for your interesting comments.

It’s all in our hands, because we are a part of the whole called God. If each person used his energy for peace and goodness, there would be no problems. Unfortunately, we have to be happy with a minority; however, Good has more power than Bad. Read Dr. David Hawkins’ “Power vs. Force.”

Just a question which i am curious to find out the viewpoints. Why is a one world govenment necessarily a bad thing ?

      • DaveH

One size does not fit all, and never will. Every individual on this earth has his own needs, desires, abilities, risk tolerance, and personal drive. And every group has their own cultural inclinations.
No Central Government can make acceptable choices for those myriad individuals and groups.
Anybody who thinks they can make the correct decisions for all is just lying to gain Power.
Lying? Hmmmm, who do we know here that does that, Flashman?

      • Jay

Flashy: Why is a one world govenment necessarily a bad thing ?

The phrase, “One world Government” is misleading at best. What is really implied, by the proponents who are feverishly working to bring it into focus, and who consistently mantra the phrase is; Establishing a centralized petro-chemical military dictatorship controlled through the artificial economic will of private banks and other trans-national corporate interests.

  • don

We consistently miss the point – it’s not a game about “winning” – it’s survival! We can change legislatures & they can make life so miserable for corruption that it will disappear!

We need tough & to the point legislators – in the senate and house – people who will prosecute & not be “nice & respectful” to the scum bags who are looting this country. It must start with nailing the cancer in our justice system – beginniong with Holder. That in turn begins with calling him what he is – a two bit tyrant out to destroy free elections – open failure to enforce Constitution & law – Cite him for contempt & demand prosecution instead of apologizing & griping

Only a paranoid fool would build up those coffin liners as a deliberate pretense for nuclear war and the destruction of the USA. Like the video did say at the end this country needs to be prepared for any type of disaster (unlike Indonesia). Bulldozing bodies into big trenches is hardly a way to dispose of citizens who have been killed by a massive disease, a gas attack or even a nuke strike. There is nothing sinister about this open field in Madison Ga. just outside Robbins Air Force Base. If someone can film these liners and even walk around them and ask questions then it’s not very secretive. The government stockpiles a lot of goods including trailers, food, oil and I suppose I could say nuclear weapons too. Be concerned but not fearful.

      • cawmun cents

Having values is a far better thing than lacking any of substance.
When a particular viewpoint hypocritcally points its finger at another with no understanding of the nature of its shortcomings, there is bound to be contempt from both viewpoints.

“He wears a mask, and his face grows to fit it.”-Shakespeare

        Intentions mean everything.
When an individual sets out to masquerade as one of character and integrity, but falls woefully short,he might learn lessons from those who have already have been caught and publicly scrutinized for their offenses. But learning only comes from the ability to see both sides, and choose the logical conclusion as a result.
The common mistake made by many is to think that the other side doesnt know much about them, because of idiosyncracies projected upon them by their predjudices. But having walked in their shoes for some time before we came to our senses,we can observe their mode of critical thinking and establish how we view their thoughts counteractively.
Have you ever been a Christian Mr. Flashman?
I was once such as you,a non-believing liberal finger pointer.
Having walked where you now tread,I can clearly observe why you think as you do.Cant say that I understand it,because it doesnt meet the criteria for critical thinking. But I have observed it nonetheless, and found it lacking.
One might patiently wonder why in your photographically framed moniker, that you do not look more deeply into the picture. But seeing things from a clouded perspective is largely due to ones inability to see from more than one direction.
You see the portrait of yourself through the lens of what you feel is accuracy, but the abstact expressionism eludes you.You view this as distortion, but in reality it comes from the ability to see things in another light. One that cannot be observed in a photo.
You profess moderation in your politcal view, but lack the wherewithal to see more than a degree or two from your own stance.Perched high atop the wall of separation you pontificate to the right, and offer condolences to the left. But when you fall, who will stitch you back together? Will it be your seemingly passionate close friends on the left,or will the right welcome you with open arms?
        Consider this well.
Get back to me on this matter.
        Cheers!

      • Flashy

CC..”Have you ever been a Christian Mr. Flashman?”

CC, I can honestly state I have never been a member of any organized religious cult. In my line of work, i have to deal with people every day who have conflicts …most of which are caused due to lack of thought and weighing of the relative impact of action of different influences, cause and effect..both long and short term.

Say you were a sniper. A 100 yard shot is relatively easy. Line up the sights, pull the trigger.

Now lengthen that shot to 1000 yards. Not only do you have the obvious outside factors of wind and humidity to factor in, you have to also factor in the spin of the earth and the magnetic fields.

A bullet traveling 1,000 yards would be deflected about three inches to the right. In addition, you’d have to aim higher or lower depending on the degree to which you were facing east or west. If you were firing due east, you’d have to aim six inches lower, since the earth rotates from west to east and your target would have dropped away from you slightly by the time the bullet arrived. If you were firing due west, you’d have to aim six inches higher.

Nothing is simple. The world and every single event in it is never Black and White. Nothing is absolute. Everything is relative given the circumstances it appears. That will be the ultimate failure of the TP movement. They cannot fathom this. They rely on religion and on simplistic solutions which always present themselves as absolute.

      • DaveH

        Flashman,
Do you really think anybody with a brain buys that you know the first thing about long range shots?
Flashman says “Now lengthen that shot to 1000 yards. Not only do you have the obvious outside factors of wind and humidity to factor in, you have to also factor in the spin of the earth and the magnetic fields”.
Magnetic fields? Most bullets are made of brass with a lead core. Neither is affected by magnetism. And even if they were it would depend entirely on which direction the shooter was shooting. So your statement “A bullet traveling 1,000 yards would be deflected about three inches to the right” is entirely BS.
There are four primary environmental factors that will influence long range shooting – wind, altitude/barometric pressure, temperature, and humidity. Wind being the most important.
And Flashman says “In addition, you’d have to aim higher or lower depending on the degree to which you were facing east or west. If you were firing due east, you’d have to aim six inches lower, since the earth rotates from west to east and your target would have dropped away from you slightly by the time the bullet arrived”.
First of all we’re on this earth when we shoot, so we are rotating on the earth the same as our target is, the relative distance from the earth’s core to us or our target does not change. The target does not drop away as the earth rotates. The bullet will drop, but the amount of droppage depends entirely on what caliber we’re using and what cartridge type, and that drop is mostly due to Gravity. And since we’re rotating with the earth the relative speed of the bullet will be unchanged regardless of which direction we face.
As usual, Flashman, you’re blowing smoke up our butts.

        The Communist Holocaust
        Communist Holocaust

Communist Holocaust: 100+ million dead, hundreds of millions more tortured, imprisoned, and enslaved

Compiled by Chris Banescu (contributors: Scott Manning, Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation)

In October 1917, the Bolshevik Revolution gave birth to the deadliest ideology in human history – Communism. In less than 100 years, Communism has claimed more than 100 million lives. Today, it continues to enslave one-fifth of the world’s people.

A free people cannot afford to forget the evils of Communism. We cannot allow the atrocities of Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot, Ho Chi Minh, and Castro to fade into the background of history. We must not forget the trail of blood and tears this utopian deception has left behind.

It is a great moral failing that so many do not know the extent of Communism’s atrocities. While the horrors of Nazism are well known, who knows that the Soviet Union murdered 20 million people? Who knows that China’s dictators have slaughtered as many as 60 million? Who knows that the Communist holocaust has exacted a death toll surpassing that of all of the wars of the 20th century combined? (Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation)

The following estimates represent citizens killed or starved to death by their own Communist governments since 1918. These numbers do not include war dead. The governments are sorted by body count (highest to lowest). All numbers are mid-estimates.

A detailed bibliography is listed at the end of this page. While this list is as complete as I have been able to determine, it is evolving. Some numbers are incomplete and there are still five Communist countries that have the potential to kill more of their citizens. (Scott Manning)

        Communist Holocaust Body Count: 149,469,610

Propaganda minister of the third Reich, Joseph Goebbels once stated: “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, FOR THE TRUTH IS THE MORTAL ENEMY OF THE LIE, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Conversely, if we trumpet the truth unceasingly, it may be that eventually, PEOPLE WILL BEGIN TO HEAR IT!

    Keep at it, Mr. Livingston!

Although Goldman Sachs sounds like a jewish owned company I believe that they are shills for islam. The great loss of wealth from the west has ended up in islamic sovereign banks and the great golden cities being built in islamic countries. The total focus is to bring down the west and bring it under sharia control.

It truly amazes me how so many people focus on the Crony Capitalists, who indeed are bad people, but who would be Powerless without the Force of Government. It’s the Politicians, people! Without them, and their assumed right of Force, the Crony Capitalists would be of little threat to us.
The first thing we as a people must understand is that the Profession of Politician is a natural attractant to Sociopaths. So we must scrutinize them with a fine-tooth comb. If we catch them telling lies, we MUST NOT forgive them. Lies are the first sign of Immoral People. And we must scrutinize their voting records. They provide a microscope into the REAL thoughts of the Politicians. Sure, anybody can change, but why take the chance?
Also we need to do a lot of reading and thinking and throw off the shackles of the Propaganda that we’ve all been bound with.
Take the Drug Wars, for instance. The Cure is worse than the Disease, but a large portion of the population has been so brainwashed that they can’t see that, even in light of the Failures of Alcohol Prohibition:

We let our Government Lie, Steal, and Kill, and then we wonder why things are such a mess. It’s us, people. WE are the Problem, but we can also be the Solution if we would just take the time to educate ourselves.

  • Tazio2013

The underpinnings that fallaciously attempt to justify despotic regimes rely upon the perverted practice of controlling the public mindset in weak societies. The indisputable evidence that civilization is regressing at lightening speed is all around US. Governments are becoming irrelevant with the passage of illegitimate authority consolidating into the hands of oligarchic cabals and global tyrants. An objective study of the voluntary abandonment of individual sovereignty is worthy of an entire scholarly discipline. However, before confused citizens seek psychoanalysis on a couch of technocrat design, the basic principles of a classical education should be applied.

Philosophical inquiry is meant to seek an understanding of the truth. Truth, when known, vindicates the dignity of the person and the value intrinsic within the human race. Therefore, it comes as a great letdown to face up to the horrendous savageness that society accepts as typical behavior. The Psychological techniques used to train people to accept tyranny as the normal course of conduct is practiced by every despotic regime.

Jon Roland in an essay, Principles of Tyranny provides a valuable insight…

    http://batr.org/solitary/012212.html

“The three aims of the tyrant are, one, the humiliation of his subjects; he knows that a mean-spirited man will not conspire against anybody; two, the creation of mistrust among them; for a tyrant is not to be overthrown until men begin to have confidence in one another — and this is the reason why tyrants are at war with the good; they are under the idea that their power is endangered by them, not only because they will not be ruled despotically, but also because they are too loyal to one another and to other men, and do not inform against one another or against other men — three, the tyrant desires that all his subjects shall be incapable of action, for no one attempts what is impossible and they will not attempt to overthrow a tyranny if they are powerless.” – Aristotle

    • cawmun cents

Aristotle had the unfortunate tendency of rhetorical redundance in his explanitory theorem.Keep in mind that he was instructor to Iskander/Alexander.Whereas the Mongols definitely took more territory,Alexander(likely as a result of Aristotles influences on him)left much more cultural base and had way more discernable effect on the areas which he conquered.
So you see that tyrannical leaders can be found all throughout history, some of them leading to great things in future generations.
Hopefully though I do not see our current situation as rivaling these aforementioned ones, something great will come from it.
      Cheers!
      -CC.

      • Flashy

Just a minor correction…the mongol Empire had control over much of E Europe for over 100 years. Bringing trade routes, educational systems, gvernment organization, new rules of warfare, and forced consolidation of much of Europe as they had to join forces to stop the invasion of the mongol armies.

Alexander ruled for about 13 years, and his empire was of conquest and disintegrated almost immediately following his death.

I doubt there can be much of a case as to the lasting influence of Alexander in any society or culture, including Macedonian.

      • cawmun cents

Again your revisionist historical slip is showing.
Mr.Flashman, are you aware that eastern Europe during the time of the mongol invasion was not even considered part of the known world?
It had scarcely been explored by Marco Polo when his stories had intrigued the barbaric horsemen to head west.
By contrast, the Persian empire,at that time the most powerful in the world, was easily conquered by Iskander. Not only did he leave his generals in charge of some of the most impressive governments of the times, but they eventually sent the aggregate knowledge of the ancient world to Alexandria, bringing all of that ancient knowledge to a central place.
What part of western Asia,or to more of the point, eastern Europe, was considered at that time to be relevant to historical note?
The Crusades were basically over by that time leaving the Muslim and Slavic worlds drained, culminating in easy domination by barbaric cavalry.Their coffers empty from continual religious war, they were vulnerable to invasion and easily conquered.
The tactics and battles of Alexander are still studied to this day in military institutions globally. With the advent of machinery, the tactics of the mongols were left wanting.
What part of those facts were missing when you opened the revisionary history books and skimmed through them?
Were you aware that shaving the face became normal practice for men through Alexanders observations of how beards were grasped in battle, and men were forced to follow their heads or be separated from them?He ordered his men to shave and the enemy didnt have that advantage over him any longer.
Men of his age(era)were protrayed as beardless, whereas before that, men always were portayed with beards, with the rare exeption of Egyptian royalty.
If you had actually learned any history, you would know these things, but you were taught by marxists, and though you had dates and places, the content of knowledge was omitted.
        -Cheers!
        -CC.

Hope-and-changers have had over three years to take a hard look at what they ‘bought.’ While some of them still dare to claim that The Anointed Flimflammer LOVES the middle class and protects the middle class, the facts say otherwise.
Hope-and-changers have had what little history they ever knew leached out of their pointy heads. Lenin used and abused his followers to set up a ruling elite in old Russia.
Some refuse to admit that Comrade Obummer has done the same thing in America. It’s no coincidence that America has a ruling elite, but this ‘elite’ exists in both political “beds.” Based on what I see here, utopians have more to lose by seeing what they need to see (seeing what they want to see is so comfy).
I have no idea what they will do when they are forced to admit that Comrade Obummer has literally BOUGHT his followers. Either way you look at it, you get what you pay for, BUT to do such a thing with other people’s money doesn’t make it an investment. It’s just another form of theft.
Sadly, utopians don’t believe it’s possible for one of their icons to commit any crimes in America – ever. Ergo, utopianism is a contagious disease, and it is also a form of mental corruption.

      • Jim C.

I thought the “New World Order” was instituted by G.H.W. Bush after the Berlin Wall was torn down – I remember hearing him first use the term. The phrase had nothing to do with one world government – Bush was merely describing what had already happened when the Wall collapsed. The entire world situation, or arrangement (“order”) had dramatically changed with the end of the Communist empire, which had kept a lid on many ethnic and religious movements, such as radical Islam. Bush was merely stating the obvious. The idea of a “New World Order”, as it’s used today, is a silly, nonsensical, delusional myth, which has nothing to do with reality. It’s depressing to realize how poorly informed and utterly confused many people are, as revealed by most of the posts to this article.

There are Utopians all over the American map and several Conservative Utopians right here on this site. Not all Utopians come from the Liberal minds and many Conservatives bow down to the same Bankster Gods to make things all better for them.No matter how many times they have hoodwinked us in the past and they will do it again you keep skipping down that yellow brick road chasing their fools gold. That is why it is so hard to correct the misdeeds of Banksters because so many are addicted to their behavior. If they control the money we all want to be part of it no matter how they got their ill gotten gains. No matter how they have influenced politics and controlled the vote.

  • Richard Riker

You people have to be kidding. You have to be absolutely unattached to reality. Ron Paul is a Congressman who has had only one bill passed in 30 years. He obviously can’t do a good job as a Representative and people want him as our president? All Ron has are opinions that are so idealistic they are nothing more than opinions out of touch with reality.

    • former walmart person

I still don’t understand how a President who causes gridlock and can’t get anything passed is a BAD THING since at least MORE DAMAGE can’t be done. Can you imagine the horror if President Obama was able to pass much more than he has already?

    • donthecanuck

      Richard,

So, are we to understand that the number of bills passed is a measure of a man? Indeed, that type of logic is what got America to where it is now. The same logic that says the congress is not doing its job, because it is not passing Obama’s flawed bills.

It is principal, integrity, honesty and compassion that one need look at when deciding for a leader. One who passes many bills is not necessarily a good one. Need I elaborate? I think not.

People tend to forget that trying to pass bills that make sense in an area of fools is a difficult task at best. You forgot this as well. Try passing a bill that eliminates a group of lobbyists that have most of those voting on the bill on their payrolls in some manner. Get the idea?

the fact here is that whatever RP voted against it in line with the only document that “used to” protect the people of America..namely, the Constitution. the bills he tried to pass were valid and true and the problem was that most of the other 534 were in the pockets of the corporations and thus the bills do not find support. Are we to understand that the man should give up on his principals to pass a bad bill instead?

I hope you understand that this attitude is why the 534 can be bought and why only one man is unable to be bought.

      Debate that.

cheers and good luck to America. You will need it if RP is not taken seriously.

    • Patriot Diva

Yeah just what we need, more legislation to create yet more laws to limit our freedoms even more.

      Richard –

There is so much legislation I wish had NOT passed. I don’t measure success by how many bills a politician has passed. I’d hold LBJ in great esteem if that were a good measurement. I consider the person’s integrity and principles.

      • Nadzieja Batki

Your definition of integrity and principles may not be the same as a politician’s. The battleground is semantics.

    • DaveH

Imagine that. Ron Paul wants to keep within the Constitutional Limits that all Politicians swear to obey, and he DOESN’T want to pass more Big Government Spending bills on the backs of the American People, and some blindered people like Richard think that’s a Negative.

    • mickey

Umm the reality is those bills he voted against were unconstitutional. The reality is those same bills that passed are why we are in the shape we are in.

I guess I would rather be known for the one good bill I passed than numerous bad bills I put signature to.

I think if you’ve listened closely, most Congressmen don’t read the bills, just pass them. At least Paul can read them and does his best to protect all of us from the bad, unread bills.

He “connects with many of the American people?” What? In my opinion he doesn’t appear to connect with anyone but himself. I just don’t get how so many people can back up an untrustworthy fraud like him!

For the Establishment Republicans it’s ABP (anybody but Paul). They are scared out of their plaid pajamas that a Real Freedom Lover might get nominated.

Rush Limbaugh said earlier, he does NOT care about the baggage Newt has, he does not care how much of shyster he is, that Fanny Mae and thus Newt who got paid by them caused millions to lose their homes, he does not care about the moral corruption that Newt stands for, All he cares is that there is a person that can fight and thus could beat Obama…. and how dare anyone asked questions about the shysters life and actions.
The moment we throw our morals and the foundations this country is build on out for a purely political goal and thus don’t care if the person we support is a shyster or thief that is the moment we have lost all credibility and have lost this country…

I support him financially and totally disagree with your assessment of his chances to win the Presidency. He connects with many of the American people, maybe not the Ron Paul supporters, they connect with only each other! No Thanks, I’ll take my chances with Newt Gingrich!

singer, for future reference; did you know that it is possible, prior to subscribing to a blogging site, to familiarize yourself with the site’s philosophy, and political leaning(s)? Feel free to pass this information along to your friends, and people of similar ilk, this way, you can spare yourselves from anxiety, and we can spared from your, idiotic drama!

Please consider the fact that Newt is a member of the CFO, Council of Foreign Relations (an arm of the UN one worlder’s) and a 33rd degree Free Mason. Let alon the fact that he pushed NAFTA through for the Clinton administration (G. Bush Sr. was in favor as well.) He also has attended the Bohemian Club sickness of the elites in the San Francisco Bay area. I suggest you google these things for yourself. Educating yourself is far better than myself posting negative comments about the man. He has a track record as well as all of the candidates do….except Obama. Who do you think puts them all there???? And why??

    • Susie4Liberty

Well, Singer…. I suppose you’re already well gone and won’t be reading this… Regardless, going to write it: I’ve always believed We Americans have far more in common than our differences – and MUCH to LOSE…our Republic is at stake at this time, in my opinion. And so, our ‘talking’is a good thing…understanding one another. And yet, I do NOT believe that “AnyoneButO” is the primary consideration, if we were to elect someone who only ‘Rules’ with a different label on his “Mantra”. (In polls, Dr. Paul does VERY well against the current prez…)

By the way, I also happen to believe that video of our “Humanitarian Mission” in Libya should be required viewing by all American citizens. (I actually would probably ‘feel’ better were I to cry more often…but seldom do. However, I wept when I watched the actual fol footage. Our drones may have ‘sanitized’ the bombings…for ppl in the USA and those ‘operating’ the drones – but not for those Libyan Citizens on the ground. If you could FIND a Libyan citizen left alive, wonder how they feel about what we’ve done to their families and fellow citizens and their beautiful, Sovereign Country? No threat to us…BUT they had an independent National Bank free from the clutces of the Globalists and oil and gold and WATER – and by Golly! We took it! And the Military-Industrial Complex loves it…AND THE GLOBALISTS SMILE 24 HRS/DAY.

  • Tazio2013

Okay. It’s time somebody says it. Something seems very strange about the GOP primary pre-polling and vote thus far.

As a Ron Paul fan, I didn’t want to seem like a sore loser after the odd Iowa result where the failed no-name Senator, Rick Santorum, was catapulted to victory with very little tangible support.

But, now, how on earth could Newt Gingrich win the South Carolina primary when the day before the vote he had to cancel a major campaign stop because of lack of attendance?

Finally you guys figure out that your vote doesn’t matter. Look, even if by some miracle, Ron Paul wins the Republican primary, and even if by an even greater miracle on par with the second comming of Christ, Ron Paul wins the Presidency, the elites will just assasinate him if they have to. Either that, or they unleash a bio weapon, all hell breaks loose, half of us die, and a military dictatorship that people will beg for will become our new master.

Ron Paul is one man. A great man, but he is just one. We have to change things from the bottom up. Doing it through the Presidency just isn’t realistic.

      • Robert, TX

Agreed! So FIRE CONGRESS and elect Ron Paul! Of course, when we FIRE CONGRESS it would be nice if we replace them with independent, and citizens instead of more RINOS and communists.

      • Lastmanstanding

Our elected officials (for lack of any better term since NDaa signed) have given nearly half of our US population a free ride for their vote. (and that includes those who are govt employees) the only exemption is our US military who is being used to carry out the politicians orders. Look at the troops donations to Ron Paul…thr troops have figured it out.

Every election begins at the 50/50 point and all of that bs money is spent to move the pendulum a very short distance one way or the other.

those of us in the know…realize that whatever way it goes IT STILL SUCKS BEYOND BELIEF.

      • Mark Are

I make the effort to share this information because it gives me, at last, a plausible answer to a long-unanswered question: Why, no matter how much intelligent goodwill exists in the world, is there so much war, suffering and injustice? It doesn’t seem to matter what creative plan, ideology, religion, or philosophy great minds come up with, nothing seems to improve our lot. Since the dawn of civilization, this pattern repeats itself over and over again.

The answer is that civilization, as we know it, is largely the creation of psychopaths. All civilizations, our own included, have been built on slavery and mass murder. Psychopaths have played a disproportionate role in the development of civilization, because they are hard-wired to lie, kill, cheat, steal, torture, manipulate, and generally inflict great suffering on other humans without feeling any remorse, in order to establish their own sense of security through domination. The inventor of civilization – the first tribal chieftain who successfully brainwashed an army of controlled mass murderers – was almost certainly a genetic psychopath. Since that momentous discovery, psychopaths have enjoyed a significant advantage over non-psychopaths in the struggle for power in civilizational hierarchies – especially military hierarchies.

Behind the apparent insanity of contemporary history, is the actual insanity of psychopaths fighting to preserve their disproportionate power. And as their power grows ever-more-threatened, the psychopaths grow ever-more-desperate. We are witnessing the apotheosis of the overworld – the overlapping criminal syndicates that lurk above ordinary society and law just as the underworld lurks below it.

During the past fifty years, psychopaths have gained almost absolute control of all the branches of government. You can notice this if you observe carefully that no matter what illegal thing a modern politician does, no one will really take him to task. All of the so called scandals that have come up, any one of which would have taken down an authentic administration, are just farces played out for the public, to distract them, to make them think that the democracy is still working.

You’re right – doing it through the presidency is a non-starter…Even IF Ron Paul is elected president, he has to convince 435 other Senators and House of Representatives members that his is the right way to go…Won’t happen…THAT’S why we need TERM LIMITS of one term! And anybody that uses the lame excuse of “well, we won’t have any experience up there” – we see how well that has done up to now! TERM LIMITS will change the TYPE of person that wants to get ‘that job’ and the thinking of those up there…

      • fedup

Yes, but half of the Senate is also up for re-election this time too.

      • Buster the Anatolian

        Isn’t it one third?

      • DaveH

Sorry, Brian. I don’t mean this as a personal insult, but Term Limits are a pipe-dream. If we can’t even get the electorate to educate themselves and vote the rascals out. How do you think we’re going to get elected officials to limit their stays in office?
Our problem is a voter education problem, and even if we could get self-interested Politicians to vote limits on themselves, not much would change.

      • John

We have term limits, its called elections, everything else is only taking the choice away from voters.

      • Jim VanBeek

Teh problem is that incumbents rig the rules in favor of incumbents (and the two major parties for that matter.) They like to limit spending so that those in office with the name recognition can win. Incumbents have franking priveledges to send out free mail. Incumbents do all kinds of things to win votes through their spending, taxing, and regulating. The playing field is not at all fair. Elections rarely turn out incumbents.

      • John

JIM, If we had term limits, Ron Paul would have been a non starter and long since forgotten.

      • tammom

I feared the same thing for Ron Paul—unless there truly is a god that will look out for righteousness.
It’s hard to formulate what we could all possibly do to change things. The other problem is that it does appear that the economic system is so far into ruin by these gambleaholics, that they don’t even know any other course of action. To change the whole economic system would be one HUGE HUGE endeavor. . Wouldn’t it? Effects on the whole wide world.

I see that we live in the same world. Which is why I am convinced that the first step into coming to the real world is to understand the truth about 9/11. Without it the total concept of the deception and what these bankers are able and willing to do is incomprehensible in its entirety. Understanding the true nature of events reveals how ruthless they are and how much power their controlled media can have over the people. Without understanding this one cannot imagine what they would do to us in order to save themselves. They have broken so many laws and committed so many crimes that they can no longer yield power without suffering the wrath of the people as during the French Revolution.

At this point our best and likely only option that would benefit the people would be a second American Revolution in which we could gain some concessions. Most people to this day still believe that we totally won the revolution as if having the Bank of England controlling America’s money was total freedom and independence.

We have it in our power right now to eliminate (or at least greatly diminish) voter fraud. Here is how:
Computerized voting would save the day. But so many people have been brainwashed against such a thing that implementing it is going to be very difficult. And the Political Class of course would rather not have such a robust system.
Anyway, here’s roughly how we could implement such a thing:
We could have two databases for each election. One database would store the ‘voter information’ (Identification, address, polling place, etc.). And the other database would store the ‘votes cast’ with a unique alphanumeric ID which would be given to each voter at the polling place. The polling place would also be stored on this database to identify problem polling places. Only the voter would know his alphanumeric ID so secrecy would be preserved. And the voter would be given a printout to verify how he/she voted.
The database would be accessible by the public. Anyone or any organization could check the ‘voter information’ database to see if any illegal voters cast votes. The votes in the ‘votes cast’ database could be easily tallied by anyone to see if votes were counted correctly and that the number of votes matched the number of voters in the ‘voter information’ database. Also, an individual voter would be able to check his alphanumeric ID to see that his votes are in the database correctly, and if not, he/she could notify the proper authorities or the proper news media. The ‘votes’ database could be corrected periodically to account for any corrections that were made by citizens claiming their votes were not entered correctly, or votes discovered to be made by dead people, convicts, etc.
It would be virtually impossible for officials to alter the databases without being detected since thousands or even millions of people would be checking it to make sure their votes were entered correctly.

In my opinion..one main issue is that if these groups had to be saved for the sake of the country…the govt should have made them loans [NOT FREE GRANTS] secured against assets and shares/equity in these groups…so that the feds could sell out at a later date over time and recover the outlays to reduce borrowings. Borrowings are not so bad if you have assets of value in return.

When a few million angry Americans from all parts of the USA take to the streets to protest, the government will be powerless to do anything to control ALL of them. This has happened many times, in many countries in the ancient and modern world. It only takes a trigger point,an incident, which will touch the massess, triggering a mass outrage which will overwhelm the government and render them totally helpless.
Remember the government can’t nuke or bio attack the whole country because the elite and their families will also be annihilated.

If I could take one moment into my hands
        Mister I ain’t a boy, no I’m a man

I’ve done my best to live the right way
I get up every morning and go to work each day
But your eyes go blind and your blood runs cold
Sometimes I feel so weak I just want to explode
Explode and tear this whole town apart
Take a knife and cut this pain from my heart
Find somebody itching for something to start

        CHORUS

There’s a dark cloud rising from the desert floor
I packed my bags and I’m heading straight into the storm
Gonna be a twister to blow everything down
That ain’t got the faith to stand its ground
Blow away the dreams that tear you apart
Blow away the dreams that break your heart
Blow away the lies that leave you nothing but lost and brokenhearted

And speaking of hypocrisy; i’ve yet to see you respond to any of Tom’s viscous, and slanderous assaults directed at anyone, who, God forbid, should dare disagree with the pastor. For the past (?many) the major part of our military has shifted its training tactics and indoctrination to produce the world’s largest and most elite SWAT force earthly creation has ever known. All this occurred at times when family indoctrination deteriorated (full time working mothers and fathers) and public schooling indoctrination essentially disappeared (Civics study became a small subordinate to “Social Studies”.) Let us pray that the (our?) military finds a way to choose the right path to the side of the people.

      • Tom W.

To which they are sworn FF!!!

      • John

I, (NAME), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.
        ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

So where does it say here they have to join an uprising against a rightfully elected government? In fact, it states clearly they have to defend the “rightful elected government”I.E. The US against domestic enemies….i.e. domestic uprising or to use the newest term, domestic terrorists.
It does absolutely NOT mater if the people uprising consider them self patriots, constitutionalists, real Americans or what ever. The constitution and the laws have many venues for the people to make their grievance heard and addressed, an uprising or as some hope for “second revolution” is not one of them. In fact, I believe that the part that specifies domestic enemies is clearly in there to protect a government that has been elected using the tools provided by the constitution from sore losers that would revolt. The ONLY time that the military would be in their rights to go against the government is if that government is taken over by force either from within or the outside…. as long as the government of the US is rightfully elected by the people, the faction that loses the election has NO right to try and force their particular issue…and the military will not…can not by its oat overthrow a government that is elected by the people because a government elected by the people using the tools the constitution provides is a constitutional government and the military is pledged to protect it..Of course, they always can suspend the constitution and have the military take over the country just as in other 3rd world countries….but is that really what you want?

      • Pepper

John: in the Oath you quoted, the Constitution is listed first and the “elected government” second. This should give you a sense of which one is more important.

In such case where the orders received from the “elected government” are in violation of the Constitution, the Constitution should take precedence because by giving such orders, the “elected government” has become a “domestic enemy” that the Oath says you will protect against.

      • Tom W.

The President of the United States is sworn to uphold the Constitution as well! If the elected officials are not upholding the Constitution, then the armed forces are sworn to uphold the Constitution and oust the corrupted officials!!! What did the Bible say about the days when evil would be called good and good would be called evil?
Keep your eyes on the skies, Jesus is coming! He loves y’all and so do I!!!

      • Sunshine49

What did the Bible say about the days when evil would be called good and good would be called evil?

You are so right. If people only knew how much of our lives were being controlled for our own “good”, they would realize how evil the world has become.

Everybody needs to read Revelations to understand how bad it’s going to get. Besides all the natural disasters, there will be starvation from genetic seed engineering and germ warfare.

Besides the Bible there are a lot of other predictions about the end of civilization as we know it. What will happen in December of 2012 is that all the planets will line up in a row and the magnetic pull will shift the earth, causing massive earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. If Yellowstone would go up again, it would cover most of the U.S. in ash four inches deep. Crops would fail and most livestock would die causing mass starvation. It would be just the excuse that the government would need to declare Martial Law and throw out the Constitution. If you believe Revelations in the Bible, that should be the beginning of the one world government.

In astronomy I’ve read that all the signs in the heavens for Jesus’ return will happen in the summer of 2015. Three and a half years after December of 2012. We’re already going through the first three and a half years before Satan and the one world order takes over.

I would feel sorry for Ron Paul if he was President when it all hits the fan because he cares what happens to the people in America. Obama couldn’t care less. He would probably say good riddance and take off on another vacation!

People need to Google “executive orders from hell” if they want to know what’s going to happen if the people try to revolt and the government puts us under Martial Law. What in the world do they think all the FEMA camps are about anyway? Made for all of us “domestic terrorists” in the event we try to fight back!

I’m sure that some people will survive as God intends. I pray that I will be in that number to see Heaven on Earth after Jesus returns. We may not be able to prepare our bodies for what’s coming, but I hope that many people here are preparing their souls and that God will watch over all of us in the future hell that’s coming.

        Good luck and God Bless.

Technally the military should have removed Soetoro and Bidden a long time ago.

      • Flashy

Henry…”technically” ? You are saying there should have been a military coup d’etat because the Pres. and Vice Pres. were elected by a majority of the voters?

I’d ask why you believe the military should have removed the elected heads of our government, but I think the answer would be just as jaw dropping insane as stating the military “techically’ should have taken over…

      • Tom W.

Because they’re, and the past eight administrations are as guilty as well, trampling the Constitution Flashy!!! As a matter of fact it is, and for very good reasons, theorized that was reason that JFK was assassinated, Because he finally figured out that the Military Industrial Complex was the threat that Dewight D. Eisenhower had been warning about for years! And when he started to talk about pulling the troops out of SE Asia, the MIC felt that he had to go! Once in their pocket, he had now become a threat to their business of war!!!

      • Lastmanstanding

They will…as well as our police forces…they know the score as to what is at stake.

      • Mark Are

Why do you believe this? It hasn’t been so in any other country on the planet and I think that the police actions and military actions against the citizens of New Orleans in wake of hurricane Katrina speak against the thought you have just written.

      • Lastmanstanding

Look at how things have changed since them…I wasn’t even awake until 2 years ago…many are waking up…if you recall things didn’t really become crystal clear until 2008.

Lots of military vet and current will not turn on the citizenry…the police are just like you and I…they have families, homes, kids and lives. Everyone stays in a shitty job when there is no other option. When the currency is destroyed why go to work…

In fact, ask a policeman who’sside they are on…find out for yourself.

      • Lastmanstanding

Look at how theings have changed since then. Katrina was 2005. Alot has happened since then.

The crash and deception in 2008 opened my eyes, but I didn’t really wake up until 2 years ago.

The military and vets will not side with the govt…ask them…our troops pay sucks and look what they do…Being a policeman right now isn’t the greatest job either…they are just like us…they have families, homes, debt, etc. We have all had crappy jobs in the past that we couldn’t get out of.

For piece of mind ask them whose side that they are on…you will be pleasantly surprised.

An article of interest today in News With Views.

        http://www.newswithviews.com/Cuddy/dennis225.htm

      • James Williams

The idea that one party of the two will be of any benefit to the regular person on the street is ludicrous. Big business has and always will come out on top. The elections are a scam, the people don’t nor never have elected the president. It is the electorial college that decides, and of course big business controls them.

      • Tom W.

Only in their socialistic utopia James! This ain’t it!!! This is the Land of the Brave and the home of the Free! It is man’s basest instinct to be free, and once he has tasted that freedom, there is no other way to live!!!

      • Flashy

Tom…and just how long have you been delusional? “It is man’s basest instinct to be free”

Where do you find that? beig free means free thought. being free means thinking for oneself. Human beings never think for themselves, they find it too uncomfortable.

For the most part, people simply repeat what they are told-and become upset if they are exposed to any different view. One reading of this site on any day proves this.

The characteristic human trait is not awareness but conformity, and the characteristic result is religious warfare. As displayed EVERY DAY here..people state in so many words ff you don’t believe as they do, in whatever insane god they believe in, then you are the enemy because you “think’ differently and they will not allow freedom to think differently. it is dangerous to their need for conformity. .

Other animals fight for territory or food; but, uniquely, people fight for their ‘beliefs.’ The reason is that beliefs guide behavior People are stubborn, self-destructive conformists. Any other view is just a self-congratulatory delusion.

Basest instinct to be free. It’s just the opposite. There is a huge number who fear being anything but conformists in thought and act.

Hopefully, as we evolve, if we don’t blow ourselves up or the strife sown by the conformists doesn’t bring down our civilization, the forward looking amongst us may jest save us from ourselves.

      • DaveH

What is Freedom to you, Flashman?

      • Jay

Flashy: For the most part, people simply repeat what they are told-and become upset if they are exposed to any different view. One reading of this site on any day proves this.

Flashman, are you an alien? Can i assume that you are a human being/person/people? Am i to deduce, therefore, from your spiel, that you somehow transcend the condition, or malady, as your philosophical prognosis suggests: “The characteristic human trait is not awareness but conformity, and the characteristic result is religious warfare.” is it possible, that perhaps, and unbeknownst to you, or that, you may be unaware of the fact, that you are projecting? You intimated in one of your responses to a poster that you studied logic, yet, i rarely see you apply this, logic, you speak of! Why is that? Why are you holding back? Clearly you have spoken out of anger, and anger expressed, is proof that reason has been supplanted, not with logic, but irrational emotions, thoughts, words, and deeds! The end result being? Well, i’ll leave you to answer that…

      • Tom W.

Flashy, you’re calling me delutional?!! Beliefs are what separate us from the animals! What is the difference between man and animal? Besides the FACT that we are created in God’s image, we unlike any other life form on this planet are able to communicate our thoughts through, for example, the arts. Go ahead Flashmanikan another life form able to intellectually comunicate….. I’m waitng! Just one.

You need to look in the mirror Tom, and realize what a double-minded person you are. Christian? How can you profess to being a Christian? You bring down God’s wrath on anyone who doesn’t agree with you, showering them with hate and slander, yet, you can transform yourself into the worlds biggest brown-noser should someone agree with you, copying and pasting Holy Writ like a carnival barker on steroids! One need not be an intellectual genius to figure out that you are as phoney as a three dollar bill! I’ll ask you as before; How can you claim to bless God, while cursing His image(Man)?

      • libertytrain

Jay, I’ve read your assorted posts long enough the last couple years to know you shouldn’t be pointing any of those fingers…

      • Jay

libertytrain, why do you insist, and persist in interfering in my skirmishes, and that, only where pastor Tom is concerned? I’m sure pastor Tom is a big boy, you need not hold his hand!

      • libertytrain

Jay, read your own comments some time. Has nothing to do with any poster in particular, rather your pointing fingers about who is and who is not the “real” Christian. I wasn’t aware you were granted a special power to make that decision. Perhaps you were, hard to believe though…

      • Jay

Yet, you still didn’t answer my question, libertytrain. Why do you interfere? And yes, it is, always, with a particular poster, namely, pastor Tom! Surely then, you approve of his hypocrisy? “It is the electorial college that decides, and of course big business controls them”..

And THAT’S why we need to be rid of them.. When the US was beginning there was a lot of space between communities and this electorial college was necessary in order to gather all the votes according to the voters but today, hell, today you can catch the early bird and be in China before dinner.. We also need to eliminate paydays for upper politicians.. Their rich men to begin with, why do they crave more? Serving this Country should be a privilege, not a financial burden on the people.. Good Gawd people, it’s nothing more than political welfare. They may at times deserve it but to them it’s chicken feed (thus they keep voting themselves raises) If they were in the same financial position that most middle class is then I could see it but look at them.. Millionaires STILL trying to con money out of the people they don’t give squat about in order to be elected and in their brain pan they’ve set up the scenario that the more money they can raise, the more chance they will win and just what do those fools who run decide to drop out? What happens to the money they raised? It’s all a scam, a joke.. And we’re the butt end of it.

Excellent piece of work. I still have reservations about RP’s stance on the Islamic problem but as far as the domestic stuff, I think that he’s spot on!!! I hope that none of the left has anything to say positive about him, because that makes me think twice!

      • Old Henry

Thank you OB1. I have gone to a couple other sites as Old Henry. Changing my ID seemed… I don’t know… misleading I guess. However, I suppose gurrilla tactics should dictate that we move around “out of sight”.

I am very, very rarely off the mark in the long run and I am right on target with Little Barry. It is simple really. All it takes is common sense rationalizing, logic and the ability to just stand off to one side so to speak. It also helps to not give the south end of a rat what anyone else thinks.

      • OB1

I have tremendous hope. God does not and will not fail. This quote from Solzhenitsyn is only a reminder to what has and can occur… Jesus said “Fear not” more than almost anything else in the recorded New Testament. We are not to fear, but to battle and fight it. This should be a battle fought with communicated words (internet and socially)fasting, and faith.

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say goodbye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling in terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand. The Organs (police) would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst; the cursed machine would have ground to a halt!”

Just speak yourself…and be an 8 year old girl! Go! I love your posts and they have encouraged and inspired me to make alot of changes. I can’t move right now, but I can do many things different. That would, heaven forbid, require the American voters to do some homewor and do some independent crital thinking and ignoring the MSM.

Over the week end I read an article on Town Hall by Chuck Norris where he endorsed Newtie. He put forth 10 questions regarding what our nominee should meet. As I read them I kept thinking Ron Paul. When I got to the end and saw Newtie I was dumb-founded due to the author.

Ole Chuck is now crossed off my list as people I will read. He has exposed himself for what he is.

    • Flashy

      AV…you nailed it square.

Seems President Obama called it right during his first State of the Union when he called Citizens United a wrongful decision and called for campaign finance reform.

Who knows if Pres. Obama, Romney etc would have to accept the money from the monied elite if they didn’t have to? As it stands now, Gingrich received ONE contribtion and flooded the SC airwaves because he had the funds.

With the ruling of Citizens United (remember Scalia shaking his head no when Obama said it was going to cause the exact situation we now have?)… there is one answer available which is easily and quickly available…if Congress can be pushed to pass it.

Immediate disclosure by the PACs and the candidates of all contributors, the dates the money was given, who they worked for, and how much. Any claim it would be impossible to update the lists every 24 hours is lying..this is the Computer Age. How could they deposit the cash if they did not have the entry in the books?

i’d say full and immediate disclosure the name, amount, who employed by, and address (“immediate” being within 24 hours) by BOTH the donor and the PAC/Candidate.

Steve Colbert and Jon Stewart are showing us exactly how much of a farce the current situation is…and how we are not allowed to know who’s involved.

AV..you are correct. This may be the one thread we all hold hands singing Kumbaya together in a united agreement.

      • http://Personalliberty Tony

        To Flashy:
Right on!! The scary thing is,what you say is so true. Thanks!!

Flashy: if Congress can be pushed to pass it.
Immediate disclosure by the PACs and the candidates of all contributors, the dates the money was given, who they worked for, and how much.

And you expect this, from Congress? You truly are deluded, Flashy. That’s like having the crime syndicate preside over its own parole board! Try again again, you nub!

      • Flashy

Jay…I didn’t say it would be easy…I offered up a possible solution to the current mess. your solution (reasonable) is?

So…you voting for your incumbent come the fall?

      • Jay

You obviously failed to glean the message from Mr. Livigston’s article. Simply put: The wolf(s) are in charge of the hen-house. What you’re suggesting is that we negotiate/plead/bargain with the wolf(s)!

      • Flashy

i have little hope actually. When the 99% protests are attacked daily by the TPers etc…even though the subjects being protested are almost on every subject in agreement with the TP cries of woe…

I have little hope. There is too much fear, hate and ignorance as exemplified by the TP and its members. They offer no hope other than to instill amongst their controllers the knowledge they will not have change foisted upon them by the People.

      • DaveH

You said that before. But what are they protesting, Flashman?

      • TML

I think he’s saying they are protesting the corporate influence in politics. Or as they say, the “elites”, or “1%”, hence it is an international movement/protest.

      • DaveH

Here we have a guy who supports Obama, the least transparent President in my life, telling us that Obama has the answers. Sure, Flashman.
You have no credibility on this board, Flashman.
        http://www.infowars.com/obama-less-transparent-than-bush-cheney-on-campaign-donors/.

Campaign Contributions aren’t our main problem. Our main problem is a mass of citizens who get their campaign choices from sound-bites on a TV. Our main problem is a mass of citizens who have been propagandized into an apathetic stupor by Government Public Schools, Government sycophantic media, and other propaganda operatives like the troll Flashman.

      • John

But if we had a conservative government, all that indoctrination in schools and other would still happen…just with a different slant…. but then it would be just A.O.K. right?

Education should be neutral, and not slanted either religious or political…but that’s not how it is. There are as many right slanted schools as there are left slanted schools and as long as all factions believe that its their way or no way, we will have conflicts. True neutrality in education would solve this.

Fact is also, All candidates make use of the same tools, all parties use the internet, the airwaves, the printed media and other. The conservatives use religion to top it of, and don’t tell me it is not true, you should hear the sermons of the local preacher…
Fact is, they all have access to the same tools, airwaves and TV adds are available to them for the SAME price independent of your political leaning… in fact, by law it has to be the absolute lowest price the station accepts for any of its services and it has to be the same price. independent who runs the add…and by law, political adds during elections can NOT be denied by any commercial radio or TV station. All information on political advertisement, the amount the candidates pay for how many units per time and so on are displayed at the TV/Radio station in the so called public file …open for anyone to see…and I mean anyone …even the homeless drunk that just wants to warm up and thus spends an hour looking through the folders. Want to see who paid for what locally, go to the station and ask to see the public folder…you can even make copies of the files for a small nominal fee per page (by law not to exceed the local public fees for copying at Kinko’s or what not)Printed media is slightly different, but heck who reads a printed news paper anyways these days.

If people are influenced by political advertisements (a part of the economy that provides hundreds of thousands of jobs)Then don’t blame the advertisers, or the advertisements for it but blame the people who rather believe that everything they see on TV or hear on radio is true then doing their home work and educating them self. The tools are out there, but unfortunately one can not force people to overcome their own laziness… and this statement is true as much for the left as it is for the right…. people are lemmings and sometimes I think that people WANT to be lied to because it appears to make the burden of life easier to bear.

      • DaveH

Do you know the difference between Propaganda, John, and facts?

      • DaveH

And John, if you truly believe that all education is biased, then you should embrace Freedom of Educational Choice. Let the students and/or their parents decide what they want to learn.

      • John

Of course I know the difference between propaganda and facts, but that’s not the point, if a faction chose to run just with the facts ok, if a faction chooses to run with propaganda, o.k. with me too. Fact is, they all use the same tools and the same access to those tools. Yes some have more money then others, but that is a fact of life, some will always have more then others, and that’s how it should be…if we all had the same, innovation and progress would stop because there would be no incentive for them….In the end, it is up to the individual to separate fact from fiction. Because like it or not what one person sees as fact, the other may as well see as fiction…

      • Flashy

DaveH…last i heard, you can sedn your child to any school you choose to. Even home school them if you so choose.

      • DaveH

Last I heard, you can do that but you have to pay from your own wallet usually, and still pay for other peoples’ children on top of that.

      • OB1

DaveH, you can Homeschool, plus the publics will “help you” to keep you on the govt. radar. I paid to “The Home School legal defense fund” in case of a controversy. The Govt did not go after homeschooling, they will go after any infringement they can get you with. That is what happened and what I saw. Rick Santorum was the senator who made it possible for any person convicted of any type of abuse, (grab a child’s wrist, push back to an aggressive teen or child) to never be given a right to own a firearm. The elites used this 2 ways: oe to stop parents from enforcing limits and boundaries, and another to control guns. Check out Santorum’s record on gun troll legislation and another on no child left behind. You are better at me than this, but I do have it.

Both sides would agree to a lot more, Another Voice, if both sides weren’t so severely propagandized. The truth is out there for anybody who wants to lift the blinders. They just need to do some reading, like this book, for instance:
      http://mises.org/books/historyofmoney.pdf

      • Flashy

Mises again. Dave.. do you get paid by that imitation of the Weekly World News ?

      • DaveH

I can count of Mises to provide informative truthful information, Flashman, unlike yourself.
And they’re called references, Flashman, because even though I’m an honest man (unlike yourself), I still wouldn’t expect the readers to just take my word for it.

      • John

Unfortunately, there is NO true neutral media, all of them have a slant to further their cause and thus events are displayed that way. News organizations do not exist to tell the truth or not tell lies, they exist to make money.. and they all get the same basic news from the same few sources.. it is just displayed with a different emphasis on the story. The only way to get the truth is to read media from all sites (even if it is inconvenient) and try to filter the common truth out of the provided information. Or subscribe to the same news services those organizations subscribe to (expensive for the raw info) and make up your own mind.

      • DaveH

Study some of the writings at mises.org, John. If you come away thinking they’re making stuff up to suit their biases than you can talk.

      • Flashy

LOL..Mises followers are proof drugs rot the brain.

      • DaveH

        You, Flashman, are the rot.

      • DaveH

The real question the readers should be asking is “Why is Flashman so afraid of Mises?”, and “Why does Flashman attack the organization rather than addressing their facts and rebutting them if he thinks they’re wrong?”. The answer, of course, is that Flashman’s only tools are manipulative tools, because his Fabricated Facts can’t stand up to scrutiny.

      • Jay

The answer as to why Flashy is here, is cleverly revealed in your second question, DaveH.

      • s c

DaveH, no utopian on this website has the courage (or the talent) to dispute von Mises. Even reading von Mises is a collective no-no. Those few utopians who can read by themselves know that if they let themselves read von Mises (without written, prior approval), they’ll be excommunicated from ‘the true faith.’
Frankly, their arrogance smacks of a very childish form of anal retention, and I don’t see any reason to try and coax them out of their dreamland. They’re addicted, and to them it’s “as good as it gets.” Once a utopian, always a utopian.

      • Flashy

DaveH…when you attack me prsonally, when you post a link which doesn’t also carry the end reesult of the dispute, when all you can retort to any writing is calling for references…I win.

You can’t come up with a cohesive independent thought. So you attack me personally with false information or you claim without rebuttal i lie, and you never ever have come up with counter argument.

Now go to your Mises and post a link which anyone with any credibility would have a problem rebutting…because they are too tied up in laughing that anyone would believe it.

      • DaveH

Flashman, the regular readers know who needs to do the personal attacking in lieu of facts. Who do you think you’re fooling?
It will be a cold day in the hot place when you win a debate with me.
I can beat you in any mental contest except lying. In that, you would admittedly beat me hands down.

      Half way through this book
Greedy Bastards by Dylan Ratigan and this YouTube “Amend 2012″ though a left leaning site is what would be a start in getting our government back.

      • DaveH

Who’s Greedier, the people who want to keep their own legally earned property, or the people who want to take it away from them?
If you think Government is the solution, Sgt, then you need to explain to me why the size of Government is inversely proportional to the size of the economy in this list of countries:

The Greedy Bastards are the bankers , corporations and politicians selling out the American people for profit.Sorry you have to be spoon feed every thing

      • eddie47d

Who said it was “legally earned” Dave. They make the rules to achieve that “earned” money. The rest of us only have to sit back and accept it as “earned”.If you complain about their ill gotten gains a person is labeled as a communist and the truth be damned. As for me I’ll keep fighting those sinister capitalists whether crony or otherwise. When they are no better than the communists in taking from others then they don’t deserve any respect either.

      • DaveH

So, Eddie, you know I believe that Crony Capitalists rig the game. So what are you doing about that? Are you voting for Politicians that want Government out of the Marketplace? If you aren’t, then you are part of the problem, because as long as Government is allowed to meddle in the Marketplace, they will favor their Cronies. It’s just a fact of life.

    • Jim VanBeek

It is not just “Corporate Money” that we need to get out of politics. All OPM Money should be eliminated. OPM is Other People’s Money. Companies should have no right to contribute to candidates that the stock holders disagree with. Similarly, Unions should not be able to support candidates that some members do not support. Government money should also be excluded from lobbying. Simply let only individuals contribute money to politician’s, political parties, and lobbyists. Individuals should have the right to contribute to whom they would like. But people should not be forced to contribute to those that they do not support whether through corporations, unions, or taxes.

    • Paul

Ever since 1913 the banksters who can print all the money they want have owned our government. The two parties are always in control of the guys who fill the seats in congress, the senate and the white house. No matter how dedicated they are when they run they learn to enjoy the power and perks and are quickly told that the way to stay is money and the party bosses control the money so all their wonderful, altruistic goals are gone by the time of the next campaign or they are simply swept away by some candidate who will play ball. And those folks are not the real power. The staffers are the real permanent government. Your party gives you “experienced” staffers so that you will be able to get up to speed faster. These are the people who write the bills – unless the interest group paying for it writes it themselves. Nobody reads them, most don’t even read the synopsis. Their aid says this is good for them to support and they sign on.

The bills themselves are too big for anyone to read so there are always little gotchas hidden in there for your opponent to use against you in the next election. The first vote on the patriot act was held less than an hour after the bills were delivered from the white house.

I look at our early documents. Most were short. Look at the declaration of independence and the constitution. Very short and easy to understand, though of course lawyers and judges have twisted even these all out of any logical interpretation.

Campaign finance is the ultimate evil for controlling the government. A simple change where only people who are eligible to vote can contribute to that campaign. No companys, no unions, no special issue groups like the NRA and AARP, no candidates in “safe” districts, and most importantly, no political parties.

Next on the list is how the elections are run. The primaries are designed such that most of us never get a chance to choose from all the possible choices. If we eliminate the primaries, which are a way of guaranteeing that most people only see the Reps and Demos as “real” candidates. An instant runoff voting system combined with changing to a direct election where all the candidate of whatever party are listed on a single ballot and the voters list one through five and this allows a simple method to find a candidate that has the support of the majority of American voters rather than what we have now where at best someone with support of around 40% of the public gets into office. It also eliminates the spoiler effect where a democrat and a green party candidate split the liberal vote and a republican with much less than half of the votes gets in. It worked the same when the Reform party split the Republican vote letting Clinton in with much less than half the votes.

Sadly, we cannot trust our elected officals to make the changes. I’m not sure that even a constitutional convention would succeed. Revolution against a power military and police force like we have here in the US today would make it very hard. It would definitely be a guerrilla war but can that even succeed today? I wish I had a good idea of how we get to where we should be from where we are today.
