Keep China Happy: Vote Obama

Good news: You don’t need to fret about global war, the economy or even the future value of outstanding U.S. Treasury bills, notes and bonds, at least if China has any say. It is not going to do a single thing to rock America’s boat. In fact, Beijing hopes that things stay smooth as glass, because it holds more than $1.1 trillion of U.S. Treasury debt. And with the direction America is going, the country would love nothing better than to see Barack Obama re-elected.

China’s leaders are not stupid. To them, Obama is the best thing to come along since one-minute rice.

One prominent Republican agrees. Last month, self-promoter extraordinaire Donald Trump wrote an open letter to the President. Trump took issue with Obama regarding the advantages in trade that China is being given, writing: “How little respect the Chinese government has for you.”

Last week, Trump added to his complaints against Obama’s China policy, saying: “They’re having a field day with the United States and our leadership.”

You would have to be an idiot to discount China’s global ambitions. Beijing is covering all of its bases, building a 21st Century military, piling up IOUs and putting capitalism to work. (Poor Mao Zedong. All he did was turn hundreds of millions of kids into robots and wear a stupid cap.)

The new leaders in China are not peasants like Mao, nor are they blinded by Communist doctrine. They have set their sights on global domination and one of their biggest allies is Obama.

China’s Ambition: Drink Canada Dry

Welcome to Calgary, a global epicenter for energy and home to thousands of Americans, including yours truly. Most of us transplants love it here, and why not? The politics are conservative, the economy is booming and the petroleum industry is strong.

But don’t expect to walk around downtown and see Texans ambling by in cowboy boots and Stetsons. It is more likely you will encounter Chinese nationals staking out the city’s finest restaurants and hotels.

The likes of J.R. Ewing don’t throw much of a wake. However men like Jiang Jiemin, the chairman of PetroChina, do.

Much of the blame lies with Obama because he refuses to renew America’s claim in Canada’s incredibly rich oil sands. By placating the Greens, Obama is frittering away a windfall of petroleum just waiting to be harvested for the benefit of all North American people.

Consider that Canada has the second largest oil reserves in the world. Only Saudi Arabia has more. Canada’s reserves are mostly in the form of shale oil. I have visited the oil sands projects in Northern Alberta, and they are a moonscape. Digging up ground to squeeze oil from rock is a dirty process, but also an effective one. When I first started writing about energy 30 years ago, it cost almost $30 to make a barrel of crude from oil sands. With new technologies, the price has fallen to about $10 per barrel.

While Greens in the United States cry foul over some dead ducks caused by Alberta’s oil sands reservoirs, China appreciates the bonanza that exists here and desperately wants to tap into it.

It won’t be long before China is consuming more oil than the United States.

In September, China’s Ministry of Public Security released a statement indicating that the number of automobiles in China has surged to 100 million. As of the end of August, China registered 219 million motor vehicles in four categories: motorcycles, tractors, trucks and automobiles.

As the President and his Democrats delay Alberta’s oil sands imports that can easily be harvested, China is pouring billions of dollars into Canada. Since 2009, China has invested $16 billion in cash into Canada’s energy projects.

This investment has come about as Ottawa has changed its hard-line policies toward China. Today, Ottawa is busily reassuring Beijing that its investment is safe in Canada.

In response, China has been eager to roll its U.S. dollars into Canadian petroleum projects. Why wouldn’t it? After all, the greenback has been steadily weakening for more than a decade. More recently, the turmoil in North Africa and the Mideast has demonstrated to Chinese investors something that leaders in Washington used to understand: Canada is a safe, secure democracy worth investing in.

The foremost reason for this marriage between Canada and China is that Congressional Democrats openly reject Canadian crude. After 200 years of a peaceful alliance and after fighting two world wars together, Obama and his Green coalition are denouncing Canada — even if it means embracing Muslim Sheiks who enacted two oil embargoes against the United States in the 1970s and who continue to finance Islamic extremists.

Last week, The Financial Post wrote this about the growing alliance between Canada and China:

Canada’s recent Asian market diversification drive after the U.S. State Department delayed the approval of the Keystone XL pipeline has given Chinese energy companies further incentive to invest in Canada. Although keeping a low profile in the intensifying Canadian debate on building more pipelines to the West Coast, China and other Asian countries hope to have access to Canadian oil and gas in the near future.

Communists better understand the advantages of investing in Canada and the most strategic commodity on Earth: oil.

Perhaps we should not be surprised. In the ancient treatise The Art of War, Chinese philosopher Sun Tzu wrote:

A wise general makes a point of foraging on the enemy. One cartload of the enemy’s provisions is equivalent to twenty of one’s own, and likewise a single picul [133.3 pounds] of his provender is equivalent to twenty from one’s own store.

The bottom line is that a vote for Obama is a vote for China. He will continue his policies of the past three years, making Beijing very happy. China’s leaders are well-educated in history and have undoubtedly have read what Napoleon Bonaparte said: “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.”

    I thought this a good article. I noticed China is at odds with quite a few different countries at this time to make the point that they are being very aggressive. Japan, South Korea,the Philipines, Vietnam and any other country that uses the South China Sea which they are now claiming to be theirs. They still have lustful eyes on Taiwan and of course have already taken over Tibet. While I do not think they are looking for war who knows in the future once they achieve economic superiority which is of course likely with four more years of Obama’s attack on business and national debt.

      And why wouldn’t they fail? Does a person work harder when they are protected from firing, or less hard? Does a person work more safely when they are protected from liability, or less safely? Does an entity which has the power of Force charge lower prices, or higher prices?

        Of those you listed, not one can survive privately and give the service or the safety net they are designed for and needed. Go to rural America and ask them about whether they need the post office. Go to a senior citizen and ask them about SSI and Medicare. And read a tad about before you were born about the starvation and poverty before the Great Society came into being.

        BTW…if Congress did away with the mandated payments the PO has to make each year…payments which have nothing to do with the PO operations…it actually breaks even.

        Same with Amtrak.

        We have all seen the reality of Government controlled Markets, in Russia, in North Korea, in Cuba, in Zimbabwe, in China …..
        You can give all the lip-service you want, Flashman, but the proof is in the actual experiences of those countries who have succumbed to the Liberal Siren Songs.
        Anybody with even half-a-brain can figure out why the Politics and Force of Government cannot produce products efficiently and cheaply.

        Dave you forgot the mustang ranch in nevada that was seized for back taxes a multimillion dollar business that the government couldn’t even run and make a profit so after 1 year of trying but failing it was sold to a private business owner that wanted to preserve it as it was the oldest brothel around at a cot of 1.5 million to move all the buildings and renovate them he was making money hand over fist within the first month. Pretty bad when the gov can’t even run the nations most famous whorheouse. You would think that a bunch of prostitutes (politicians)would be able to do it

        Actually Michigan…when the gov’t seized it, it placed it for auction and published the SEC information on the operations. made for pretty interesting reading in many legal and business circles. It wasn’t operating for a profit because no one wanted to go to a government run place where every transaction was recorded by the government. Employees were difficult to find. And … as you should know…all records were public records.

        Now who in the heck would go to a place of il repute if they knew a) the government was watching; b) your name was not private.

    DUBYAH bush ran up the debt with China, not OBAMA.
    The rampant totalitarian rampant capitalistic dictatorship in control of China now has a major interest in seeing that debt repaid.
    Considering Bush essentially borrowed on a “DEMAND NOTE” and Obama/Biden must try to avoid having them issue a demand for payment to add more to the economic disaster Bush/Cheney left behind — if the Chinese leaders favor Obama continuing in office, it is because they consider him their best hope for being repaid.
    Obama did not cut the trade deals which have been so beneficial to China. Those deals were cut by Nixon, added benefits piled on by Reagan and Poppa Bush, and the China debt created by DubYah.
    Of course, Mr. Meyers want to forget Bush’s TARP, which gave nearly a trilion to Wall Street and the big banks with no restrictions.
    Meyers also wants us to forget the $7.7-Trillion in NO interest and Extremely LOW Interest (00.0025%) loans Bush and Paulson secretly heaped upon Wall Street and the Big Banks well before TARP.
    Oh, and don’t forget that in addition to the worst economic debacle since Hoover’s Not So Great Depression, Bush/Cheney left us with TWO MISMANAGED WARS, minimal international respect following near-total international support after 9/11. Then there is the little matter of the BP Gulf Oil disaster, coming directly from Bush’s rush to deepwater development without safety and environmental concerns. It was left up to Obama to create the working requirements and get them enforced for a mess DubYah created to favor his Oil Patch Buddies.
    Don’t forget, Bush walked away from Bin Laden and Al Qaeda and the Taliban. Bush never got one Al Qaeda or Taliban leader.
    Obama has eliminated Bin Laden and 22 of the top 30 Al Qaeda leaders.
    Remember the mountains of NeoCon Criticism heaped upon Pres. Obama after the early “Cairo Speech.” A little more than two years after, we saw the Arab Spring, with the people ridding themselves of dictators. Popular governments springing up from Libya to Yemen, even Assad teetering in Syria .

      You hsve no clue about the debt. At the end of 2000 the debt was $5.6 trillion. At the end of 2008 it was $10 trillion. Total new debt ubder Bush: about $4.5 trillion. As of right now the debt is $15.2 trillion. Total new debt under Obama: $5.2 trillion. Add to this the fact it took Bush eight years to add $4.5 trillion and it only took Obama less than three to add even more. At this rate if Obama is re- elected he will leave office having added $15 trillion to the debt: three times what Bush did.

    China is in progress of purchasing valuable agricultural and forrest land tracts around the world plus mineral resources, oil, precious metals mines etc. Why would they be doing this if it were not their intent to control much more than most realize? Couple this with a continuous barrage of cyber attacks on our DOD as well as private industry to steal as much as possible and disrupt our national security on a whole. It’s right in front of us day by day and most people still don’t get it.

      So let us leave this quiz to our polititions to crack their heads. Don’t point a finger to anybody. If so wht about the sliding down of Europe economy ? Who is to blame?

    First of all $16 billion of investment into Canada from China is mimiscule compared to what is at stake ! Secondly there is to much credit given to the intelect of Obama and his cabal of advisors ! Most are just intelectual thugs and the reason they seem to succed is because our republican leadership is spineless which is about to change ! Thirdly the Canadians’s only have turned to China because of the obviously weak morons now running our country but would rather for many reasons keep their business here in the the America’s both for profit and for security !

    Sure would be nice if the American people would wake and connect the dots. What is the real reason that Obama doesn’t want the Keystone pipeline? Deepwater rig explodes in the Gulf, Obama ends deepwater drilling in the Gulf, deep water rigs are towed to Brazil, Soros becomes the largest investor in Petrobra, Obama give Brazil $3 billion for deep water exploration. Figure it out….Obama and Soros will make billions by selling Brazilian crude to the U.S.
    Hopefully we get Newt as our GOP nominee or we will be FUBAR’D. He is the only one in my humble opinion that can kick Obama’s ass. I don’t care about his past personal life, I do care about what he can do for America.

      The deepwater rig that blew up was sabotage, not an accident. Since then, the Chinese have moved a rig into Mexican waters not far from where this one blew up. So – we can’t drill and get the oil because of Oblama’s order – but the CHinese can. Further the Chinese have a well only about 30 miles from Key West, again in waters that Oblama won’t allow us to drill.

        it really does not mater who has licensees and who are the operators of any of the oil platforms. NO amount of oil produced there, independent if it would be BP, the Chinese, the Russians or American companies will ever result in the US gas prices come down. US gas prices depend on the price of oil in the international market…the higher it goes, the more it costs. And if we in the US would produce more oil , OPEC will just reduce its output to keep the prices stable. Remember, refined petroleum products are our number 1 export from the US.. As long as the US government permits speculators on Wall street to dictate the price of oil, no amount of extra production will lower the price.

        With due respect, speculators base their projections on not only demand but the volitility of the supplier nations. If the USA would drill, drill and take the oil from the Keystone pipeline (which O’numbnuts has now quashed) our oil would bie cheaper. This whole F’ing drill is BS.         They tried to hire one of the biggest experts on this sort of thing right after it first happened. He lives in Houston. They offered him $1200 an hour, 24 hours a day, plus other bennies, to take the job. He turned them down. He said that considering what had happened, he didn’t want to be in someone’s crosshairs.

        Caliber and USMC are a bit off. There is drilling in the Gulf by American companies and under the Obama Administration. Cuba can drill in their waters just like we are doing in ours so it doesn’t make any difference if it’s 30 miles away . It’s their territory. One reason we can’t drill off of Cuba is because of our continuous blockade of that country and stopped from pressure of the Cuban community in Miami. Even that loan to Brazil was from the Import/Export Bank and not from the Obama Administration.Obama made nothing off of that deal so that is all political hype and royal BS.

        NC, I can tell you as a Republican and a stock market investor that I do, in fact, love a Democrat when it comes to investments. The Democrats spend like there’s no tommorrow. They cause massive inflation. Inflation causes the price of commodities and goods to rise in terms of dollars, which makes my wallet fatter. Then all their poor decisions come to a head, the market tanks, and I make a killing on puts and shorts as the same commodities plunge in correction.

        The stock market loves the Democrats because their decisions are generally unwise and cause major market volatility, which is profitable for an investor.

    Why not simply build a refinery near the Canadian border, utilize the refined products from that source to distribute to North American users, and then allow the refineries in Texas to export more? This would seem to make sense, at least on the surface. What am I missing? Sure, we still need to transport the refined products away from the new refinery, but that could be done with pipelines using products that are not as corrosive as the original oil…

      Oh, there are refineries in Montana and Wyoming who could take that oil refine it and distribute it to be used within the US, the Sinclair WY refinery has ample of capacity to take every drop that pipeline can deliver. BUT…if you look at the business proposal, and if you look at the published papers and the paperwork filed with the governments of Canada and the US by the people who want to build this pipeline, you will see that what the company proposes and what people say will be are two totally different things. The first lie is the 10k jobs within the US.The company itself only projects about 2k of mostly temporary jobs.
      Second, this oil /products from it.. was never and will never be used within the US. It is destined for the international market, that’s why the pipeline is planed to go all the way to the gulf. This planet has an oil production/delivery shortage mainly because of emerging countries like India and China. This is what determines the price of oil on Wall Street and that is what oil produced in Canada or the US will be sold at independent if it is used within the US/Canada or outside.
      Unless the US government intervenes and uncouples oil from the speculation of the market all the oil produced inside the US will NOT reduce the price at the pump by even one penny. For every barrel we in the US produce more, OPEC will reduce its production. They would love us to pieces if we would overproduce and deplete our own oil and thus they have more for years to come. Yes they lose the short term sale, but does anyone here really think oil prices in the long run will go down? And thus, in the long run they will make more money.OPEC has a vested interest to keep prices and production at a certain level and they will do anything they can to keep them there. Right now, the US has extra refining capacity and thus our #1 export are refined oil products. The rest of the world is reluctant to build new refineries simply because as long as the US produces cheap there is no need for them. This will change as soon as the US would slap export tariffs on oil products. Iran who is importing most of its refined petroleum products from Russia and US corporations(ironic right…we can sell petroleum products to them but we are getting ready to restrict them selling the raw materials to the world) Iran is ready to build a refinery. So are several other countries that are talking to China and Russia to build those plants….of course Iranian plans for 2 high capacity refineries, large enough to produce and export end-product, not only raw oil is a big thorn in the side of US big oil and would cut big time into their profits and one of the reasons the war drums are rolling..
      As long as domestic oil is sold on the market at international prices and subjected to the same speculation, NO amount of extra oil production in the US will ever result in lower gas prices for US customers.
      If you look at the filings of the people who want to build this pipeline, you will see quickly, that the only real winners would be the owners and investors but NOT the US public… There will be spills along this pipeline, and it is just a question of “when” not “if” there will be a spill that potential contaminates the aquifer it crosses. Millions of US citizens will be negatively impacted in many a city.The cost to produce clean water will be going through the roof and it will be our children and grand children that will have to pay the price four our haste and short sightedness. Do the investors in Canada care? Of course not, they will get slapped on their fingers pay a ludicrous fine that will be less then 0.000000000001% of their potential profits and thus is considered a calculated loss and go on with life. Is this really the legacy we want to leave our children and grand children? I rather have this pipeline stopped right now and wait until sound proposals are looked at and weighted. and if common sense will show that it is prudent to build it all the way ..ok fine with me…but lets not push this for a perceived benefit (lower gas prices, 10′s of thousands of jobs) that are an utopia to start with. In the name of safety, in the name of the future of my children and grand children, those investors can wait a little while to reap the profits, until all pros and cons are considered and changes are made to minimize its impact.

I would heavily subsidize non-oil farm fuels for the agriculture sector. I would give the states block grants for mass transportation for non-oil based transportation. I would invest heavily in rebuilding our infrastructure.

        If you are going to cut all subsidies for oil based products then you need to do the same with all those alternative fuels. Once no one gets government subsidies we’ll see how fast your green energy fuels fail and file for bankruptcy. We already know it takes more energy to produce green energy (solar, ethanol, wind) then it is to refine one barrel of oil.

        Flashy, with all due respect, Hybrid cars are now readily available. That’s the first step to eliminating our oil dependency. What “progressives” fail to take into account is that we can’t do like the movie The Ides of March suggests and eliminate all combustion engine vehicles within ten years. Removing those cars from circulation means forcing people to buy new vehicles. That’s just not something most people are financially prepared to do. And if you can’t switch everyone over at one time, then you have to have dual fuel sources to accommodate both types of engines.

        You would, in essence, bankrupt half the nation who can’t afford a new $40K vehicle, put an entire oil industry out of work, cause major upheaval in the modification of gas stations nation wide as they switched over to the new energy source, and so on.

        It’s a thing that needs to be done. I think both parties recognize it and agree. But even switching people from records and casettes to CDs took more than a decade, as it did to switch them from VHS to DVD. And these are minor improvements to technology that cost someone a few hundred dollars at worst. Switching them over to a new automobile at an inflated price of $40K+ is going to take half a century. Count on it.

        So it’s not fair to say that we want to return to the horse and buggy. I don’t. Neither does anyone I know. But progress costs money, and the United States doesn’t have any. It has spent it all on welfare and war. If they had a complete line of fully electric cars out there with electric charging stations as plentifully available as gasoline stations, I would be happy to make my next automobile purchase an electric car. But as long as my electric car restricts me to in-city driving due to a limited electric charge, I’d rather have the vehicle that will take me on a three-state trip if I need to drive that far.

        Besides, it’s worth saying that electricity isn’t generated out of nothing. We burn fossil fuels to generate electricity. If we did away with gasoline and the low emissions that have been developed over the years, it would be replaced by an increase in other fossil fuels, like coal, being consumed in the production of the electricity it would take to keep everyone driving. So it’s really a wash.

        The only advantage to getting off of oil is that we would get away from the dependency we have to other nations.

        This is not to say that I’m against getting off of oil. It’s just not realistic or feasible at the present time. Our efforts are better spent trying to produce or invent a motor that doesn’t require a battery or any other disposable source and to keep using oil in the meantime.

Also keep in mind that “Scientists” promoted the Homogenic Global Warming Hoax.
        If you know anything about double-blind studies, you know that they do it that way because humans tend to be biased and as a result they subconsciously or (consciously sometimes) skew results to match their biases, so the only way to get unbiased results is to prevent the data collectors in the study from knowing which study factors are real and which are fake. And the Greens are, without a doubt, very biased.

        This is the first time I’ve actually heard of fracking. My uninformed opinion on this is that it is unlikely to be the cause of earthquakes. I can buy into the idea that there are gas leaks and other harmful effects in the areas immediate associated with the process. You can’t collapse that much area, even in a controlled way, without there being points of weakness.

        However, earthquakes (genuine earthquakes) are caused by the shifting of tetonic plates. When you consider the relative size of the drilling activity to the size of the plate and fault line, the idea that this drilling can cause a plate the size of a continent to shift is ridiculous. It’s like suggesting that sliding a pin under the top layer of skin on your finger would cause arterial bleeding.

        People act like the earth’s crust is a few hundred feet deep, when it is as much as twenty-five miles deep depending upon the area being drilled. I just don’t see earthquakes caused by fracking as a realistic conclusion. Even the Tallboy didn’t cause actual earthquakes. All it did was send shockwaves relative to its size, depth, and payload. But it didn’t cause tetonic plate shifts.

        Helen…I drive an internal cumbustion vehcle. Fuel efficient hybrid. I have looked at, and will continue to look at, electric. unfortunately, for some uses i still need a pure gas engine vehicle. (they don’t make a Jeep hybrid as yet).

        On the acreage we lease to a combine for farming (organic), we put up half the money, the combine the other where we took a page from the 30′s and are almost finished with a tractor which will run using methane and hydrogen produced using a gasifier.

        Unlike the TPers and the wacked right, Moderates and progressives actually look forward and not take this nation backwards.

If a technology is indeed cost-effective, then the producers of those products will prosper with their own investments. Government only comes along to aid the non-cost-effective technologies with money taken from the Tax Payers. It’s easy to waste other peoples’ money.
        The Solyndra scandal is a dramatic example of that reality.

The standard reduction bell and nozzle configuration will run 5-20hp engines. Changing these particulars can expand the gas rate to support up to 40hp engines, or a 20-25kw genset.

        Most people like to start with small engines– Listers, China Diesels, Briggs and Stratten, Honda V-twins, 4cyl car engines, etc. But you can easily adjust nozzle size and position, as well as change out the reduction bell to an optional larger version to support larger gas flows. We find the GEK is large enough to run common 4cylinder engines in smaller cars. Here’s an elaboration on the basic GEK running a Honda Accord with a standard 1600cc 4 cyl engine”.

        By the way dude your so called diesel tractor would need to have two cylinder 1600cc motor just to be capable of running on the type gas your so called synogas.         Alex, it is not logical to allow anyone to vote who does not have an intelligent opinion based in fact. During the Iowa Caucus, for example, a woman was interviewed after the vote. She voted for Santorum. Why? Because, she said, “he seemed like a likeable guy.” Not because he was going to do something smart. Not because he had good foreign policy. Not because he represented certain principles she felt were good for the community at large. She voted for him because he made her feel good. And I don’t think that’s the right sort of criteria a person should be using when making a decision that will have a direct impact on me, my family, my community, and my future.

        It’s also worth mentioning that the only reason people clamor for the right to vote is so they can recompense their grievances on opposing forces. Universal suffrage is a sham.         Federal money in South Carolina
        Joint Base Charleston South Carolina is one of the 12 new bases on the US territory, which showed up after the 2005 congressional legislation implying the base consolidation by merging multiple bases. 24 small bases had to merge one with another, resulting in 12 new and powerful bases. This one is the result of the October, 2010 merge between the Charleston Air Force Base and the Naval Support Activity Charleston. The place is now operated by the US Air Force. The place currently hosts over 20000 individuals, counting active troops, reserve soldiers and civilians.
        Shaw AFB is currently one of the largest military bases in the United States of America. It is operated by the Air Force – more precisely, by the Air Combat Command.
        As World War II reached to an end, Shaw AFB was turned into a permanent military base. Over the Cold War, it saw a lot of units joining and leaving it, as the objectives were constantly changing, not to mention about the operational forces. Over the last years, Shaw AFB is responsible for supporting the Iraq and Afghanistan invasions.         Units
        Shaw AFB is currently hosting the 20-th Fighter Wing, responsible for operating the F 16CJ aircrafts.         Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort is an installation located in Beaufort, South Carolina. The installation was originally established as a training facility for anti-submarine patrols during the Second World War. It was reestablished as Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort on March 1, 1960. Merritt Field, located within the air station, is named after Major General Lewie G. Meritt, a Marine Corps aviation pioneer.
        The air station is host to the operations and management of all active duty F/A-18s on the East Coast which are assigned to Marine Air Group 31. It has the primary mission of ensuring continuing operations of the Air Group as well as its support units.
        The base has a total population of almost 4,000 active-duty personnel, and 700 civilian employees

        Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island is located in Port Royal, South Carolina. The base is tasked with providing the first level initial training for all newly recruited marines often numbering 19,000 per year. This number includes male recruits that reside east of the Mississippi river and all female recruits from all states. Its sister installation, Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego, is in charge of training all other male recruits living west of the Mississippi river.

        United States Naval Hospital Beaufort is a Navy hospital that manages two branch clinics at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island and at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort, including the main hospital itself which is located in Port Royal, South Carolina. The hospital also services the Laurel Bay housing area. The hospital was commissioned on April 29, 1949.
        Unlike most hospitals that are tenants of a larger base, Naval Hospital Beaufort is one of the few military hospitals that is situated within its own complex. It is tasked with providing medical care, surgical procedures, and emergency services to all personnel of the Navy and the Marine Corps. They also service family members of Navy and Marine Corps personnel living in the Beaufort area which numbers 35,000 people.
        History of the Naval Health Clinic Charleston is located in North Charleston, South Carolina, right next to the Navy Yard. It was established on July 31, 1917 after the necessity of a Naval Hospital near the Charleston Navy Yard was realized. It was built with 19 wooden buildings and had a capacity of 250. It had one story buildings that housed the administration building, the ward buildings, the galley, the mess, the power house, and the recreational hall.
        Naval Weapons Station Charleston is a military installation that covers both Goose Creek City, Hanahan, and North Charleston City, South Carolina. The installation covers 17,000 acres of land and 10,000 acres of forest and wetlands. Naval Weapons Station Charleston was originally established as the United States Naval Ammunition Depot during World War II to serve as an ammunition collection and distribution point in coordination with the nearby Charleston Naval Shipyard.
        To consider all of this Federal money being pumped into one small state of the union, I would expect a little consideration to the rest of these United states. But what we see is shear arrogance on the part of the State of South Carolina much like Wall Street banksters, they seem too big to be corrected, too big to be found wrong. Quick to take any offense personal and will attempt to shout you down.
        I do not blink with my assessment of South Carolina.
        A spoiled state that ranks in the 10 best states to retire in with no taxes paid on Social security benefits and the largest collecting of federal reties in these United States.
        A State of elite entitlement that this political forum attacks the very notion of one minute, while refers to me as being “prejudges “ and “bias’ for just bring forward these gross inequities that South Carolina enjoys TODAY and YESTERDAY while much of the rest of these here United States depends on the PRIVATE SECTOR and venture capitalism to put a meal on the table and send their children to school.
        Are you to allow such people to shout you down? I say HELL NO.

How would you enjoy wear those shoes a while?         Today our focus is tomorrow and the many challenges that lies a head and how we plan to get there.

        I find this callous disregard, usury, unflattering arrogance and refuse to tolerate it or accept it without strong protest.

        You Sir, are the tail end of a military complex, prepare yourself for some serious future down sizing.

I think you all know what that means. Over 200 marines killed in Lebanon. treasonuis acts dealing with Iran (remember..this was immediately after the hostage crisis…and he was dealing with them.) Funding the butcherous Contras against federal law. And taking credit for something he never was involved in…bringing down the USSR (that was accomplished ecause of the policies of previous administrations as well as Gorbechev’s actions).

        The only thing reagan did was succeed in convincing the ignorant that he did something for them.

        Another “Blame Bush” clown. Presidents don’t leave anything that Congress hasn’t voted to (or not to) support. If you look deep enough you’ll see that Clinton had a Republican Congress at the end of his term and Bush had a Democrat Congress at the end of his term. Obama had a Democratic Congress at the start of his term and even then they screwed it up. Unfortunately the midterm elections returned a lot of RINOs and so we continue to suffer the consequences of a cowardly group who can’t stand up to the idea that calling Obama on his over reaches is not “racist” but the way to lead.

        I wrote my congressman about the raising of the debt limit and stated it should NOT be raised at any time. He wrote back and said he would only vote to raise it if the Democrats would cut spending. I wrote back and told him “if the spending is cut, then we have money so why do we need to raise the debt limit? If the spending is not cut, we won’t rais the debt limit. Why are we even thinking about raising the limit?” I never got a response to that, but I think it might be because I called him and the rest of Congress cowards for letting Obama walk all over them.

I don’t like wasteful spending but Bush’s wars this administration inherited among other faults and upperclass greed have led us to the current decline of the once great U.S.A. It can be fixed id everyone, and I mean everyone would just wise up and stop being a spoiled brat esp. the ones who have truly benefitted over the years. PS. I have a relative who is a self-made multi-millionaire and will be ashamed of him if he forgets where he came from with his retired union-man working class father & grandfather.

        He claims to be religious, but doesn’t seem to realize that the problems of this country can not be blames on just one person. We are suffering the punishment for all the choices of every single person in this country. How long can we push the blame of millions of inocents being killed in the name of pro-choice. You have the choice to kill babies but not the choice to keep your legs crossed or in the case of men , to keep your pants up ! How long do we think we can get by with taking God out of our country? How many of us complain about the persecution of of persons of faith and all the time we out number those without faith and still we silently let them complain about our puting a cresh on the lawn during Christmas. People we are being punished and it is going to get worse until we get down on our knees and repent for all this sinfulness. I am at the point where my feelings about all these people that don’t like our Constitution and don’t like our faith in government and in public, well just move to another country where they believe like you do. I’m sure Russia would welcome you with open arms and for all thse who want Sahria law, go back to where you came from but we already have our laws established a very long time ago. So if you can’t live by them then go back to where you can live by the laws you want to, but that isn’t here in the US !

        Why be so naive. We are our brothers keeper only if we want to. To force or threaten one to be a keeper of someone else is to say that someone has a greater right to life than someone else and therefore the fruits of ones life should be divided up with others because someone has the power to say so. The Bush tax cuts were entirely wrong. The ENTIRE taxes that were forced out of the people should have been back to the people who earned, all of it. The government that extracts possessions/property from others (including money)is the same as the robber on the street. We have the right to defend our self against the robber on the street and if that robber is the government we also have a right to defend our self and our family and our possessions against such forces. One is the politics of Liberty and Freedom the other is the politics of Force and Slavery. Simple isn’t it?

        Tax breaks are passed by Congress. All the President can do is sign or veto the legislation. The Bush tax cuts were GOOD for the country. I think we goofed getting into the various wars in the near east, but all I see is Obama making a bad thing worse.

        Do you really know what God loves and what he hates ? How carefully have you read your Bible? If you think that God is always going to love you or me or anyone for that matter , that does not live by his instructions and keep his orders for us then you are dead wrong ! What makes you think that people can claim to love God and go to church and spend an hour or two worshiping him and thwen go home and break every conmandment in the book? A few days later you go back to church and tell God you are sorry , and ask for his forgivness and then go home and do it all over again. And this pattern of living goes on all year; year after year but still you think you are in good shape because afterall you said you were sorry and asked for forgivness every time ! Trouble is you never took him seriously enough to change your life enough to stop sinning. When we all do that and we do it as a nation, you can bet your bottom dollar we will pay the price, especially if we don’t get straight and really change. This country will not change untill every one of us changes himself first. I believe that all the things that have been happening to this country this ast year are meant for a wake-up call and if we don’t wake up it is going to get worse ! God is going to punish us and it doesn’t matter if you don’t believe in God or not you , who ever you are, will suffer right along with the rest of us, and don’t expect the end to come soon because that would not be a punishment. We are going to suffer for what we have done to our Lord until we make it right and if we don’t make it right this is going to go on for generations, so get use to it. As ye sow , so shall ye reap !

Us on the other hand have trusted Obama to make deals for the good of our country and he hasn’t made ONE yet !         When Clinton decided to get in bed with the chinese, that was the beginning of the end . The whole China deal has gotten worse from that time on with every other president and this one has put this country on a big crane and lifted her up and placed her slap dab in the middle of China’s financial hands ! All of this hasn’t been for the betterment of the U.S. If it was we would be getting out of our problems not farther in debt. Obama has not worked to solve any of our problems he has simply handed our money out to anyone and everyone that has their hand out. He hasn’t created jobs he has eliminated jobs and every opportunity for creating more jobs. When he eliminated jobs he did it by the thousands at a time. If you were president don’t you think you would look at all the places in the country that employed thousands of people and try your best to keep from closing those jobs? Don’t you think you would look closley at companies that were starting up and before you handed over millions of dollars to them you would make sure that money was safe garded since it was money from tax payers who not only worked hard to get that money but many of which were loosing their jobs and could have used that money rather than give it to a company going bankrupt ? I’m wondering where all that money went? Who’s pocket did it go in or should I say who’s off shor bank account ? Is this a man that is looking out for this country and our benefit ? He spends money on himself and his wife does too to go vacationing all over the world and it is all on our ban account not his. Is this the right thing to do when you are the president of a country who’s people are suffering the way a lot of our people are? I would think nothing of it if he was using his own money but that is not the case ! He has claimed to be a christian but I have never heard him talk or act like a christian. Not like any christian I have ever known. I do not believe anything Obama says. He uses race to BS unknowing minorities and he will turn on his smile because he knows it is infectous to many people and he needs to lure them in, like the spider to the fly !When it comes to this man I say be afraid, be very afraid if he gets in for one more term.       I’m not talking about a sale in principle. China can “own” all of America it wants on paper. They don’t own anything until they come and claim it.

      When I say that if the government starts selling off parts of America, I do indeed mean selling it off. When I see Americans removed from parts of America to allow for Chinese or other foreign occupation, the game is up.
