Former CIA Chief Calls Iran Greatest Threat To U.S.

Tehran will be the top threat in 2012, former CIA Director Michael Hayden predicted as Iran dominates the foreign policy debate in the U.S., according to Fox News.

“It is the single greatest destabilizing element right now with regards to global security,” Hayden told the news outlet. He noted that the trajectory that the Mideast nation is on concerning nuclear weapons and the recent Strait of Hormuz incident is one that the world should fear.

Hayden went on to say that the threats by Iran to close the waterway suggests that officials in Tehran may commit an “unforced error” in the next year.

The U.S. is not the only country that sees the Iranian threat as an impediment to the world’s progress, as Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper opined that the country must be put in check, according to The Jerusalem Post.

“In my judgment, [Iran] is the world’s most serious threat to international peace and security,” Harper said during an interview with a Canadian radio station. “The is a regime that wants to acquire nuclear weapons.”

    Well as long as Saddam Hussien was in power he was a counter-balance to Iran’s influence in the region, as well as potential threat to
    Al-Qaida (Saddam was a “jack” muslim if you know what I mean)
    General Powell AND the Joint Chiefs tried to warn President Bush, that invading Iraq would be a BAD idea. Well we all know the history.
    The real issue is this… How do we keep Red China and Russia from
    supporting Iran in it’s effort to become top dog in the middle-east?
    Remember It’s to Red China’s advantage to try and keep us bogged down in the middle-east, while they quietly wait and build up their own power, they are already trying to do an “end-around” by getting involved in Africa, Now all of a sudden we see Al-Qaida terrorist
    actions in Nigeria, and Ghana and Kenya (all oil rich countries)
    The key is to keep Red China off balance. we can best do that economically. We HAVE to bring the manufacture of consumer goods
    back to the United States.
    We HAVE to maintain the Technological “High Ground” with advanced Cyborgnetic Weapons systems WHOLLY manufactured in the U.S.

      Q:How do we stop China and Russia from supporting Irans play to be top dog in the Middle East?

      A:Stop buying Chinese made products for 1 year.
      That would put the Chinese in the poor house.

    Name one Nuclear armed power that we have attacked.

    And of course, Iran states IF attacked, it will close the Straight. IF- it-is-attacked.

    “OMG! America says we have to do this and that or they will attack us! Well, we better bend over fellow Iranians!”

    They want you to BELIEVE that if Iran acquires a nuclear weapon, that they WILL use it. BS. Scare tactics to get the vast majority of Americans quaking in their panties to BELIEVE that we MUST attack Iran.

    They don’t want Iran having a defensive nuclear capability, because if they did, we wouldn’t kick them around so easily AND attack them.

    Besides, we keep hearing from government man they are making a bomb, from another they are … or are not close to it.

    Mind games… fer the easily seduced American mind.

    And folks, we play the Israelis just as much as we play the Muslims.

    My bet is it will be our AmeriKa that starts WWIII.

    Think of it this way folks,in ten years of war against Saddam Hussein,they pretty much fought to a standstill.
    Eventually Saddam gave up because he couldnt afford to kill any more Iranians.
    What did it take for us to pretty much take control of Iran?
    Militarily,not very long.
    If we went at it all out,they wouldnt last a week.
    Neither would Iran.
    If you could keep the politicians out of it,it wouldnt last that long.
    These guys are not a threat to us militarily,we have Full Spectrum Domination.
    The Shuttle Program saw to that.
    Who are these supposed military geniuses trying to fool?
    Fish on.

        Russians are a bag of wind,and the Chinese are targets.
        Aside from Mutually Assured Destruction,what can they really bring to the table?
        Zippo,Zilch,Zero.
        You would have to drink rice wine and vodka for a month to get as drunk as folks who take either group seriously.
        Its a question of logistics.
        How can you move 200 million soldiers?
        Basically the majority of them have to walk.
        Do you realize how much fuel that would take?
        As for the Russians,they dont get along with the Chinese,so how is that exchange going to work out?
        Also,everyone hates Russians.
        Just go to neighborhoods here in America where Russians have moved in.
        See anyone else but Russkies living there?
        Nope.Tells quite a story doesnt it?

        Look….its a question of what do you fear most?
        Folks out in the world dont like Russians,and Chinese,though they seem friendly for the most part,dont exactly have a shiny sterling silver record when it comes to human rights.
        Couple that with Irans tendency to follow mad Shiite doctrine,and what you’ve got is a hell no from the rest of the citizens of the world.
        I know that it seems like all these entities,will band together,but realistically I dont see it happening at this particular time.
        Of course there may be forces working behind the scenes,drawing them together,but then again,The Lord will stand on His mountain and lay waste to the lot of them.Or so the Bible says.Since it has predicted things quite accurately over the centuries,and unlike Nostradamus,it doesnt come with a riddle(at least not for those of us with a spiritual thesaurus),we can pretty much rely on what it says.

        Be that as it may, as it is right now, both have to be concerned with the fact that the US can form coalitions in areas that most countries can’t. with out US in the picture, all they have to worry about s each other. BIG difference, my friend!!
