Polls: Romney Leads in New Hampshire, Paul Second

Two new polls show that Mitt Romney has a strong lead in New Hampshire, where the Nation’s first primary will take place next week.

Romney has 43 percent support among likely primary voters in a 7 News/Suffolk University daily tracking poll, and 41 percent in a survey by the polling firm Magellan Strategies.

In second in the two polls is Ron Paul, who polled at 17 percent in the 7 News/Suffolk University survey and 21 percent in the Magellan Strategies survey.

According to Reuters, in the 7 News/Suffolk University poll, Jon Huntsman followed Paul with 9 percent. The poll placed Newt Gingrich in fourth with 8 percent.

The Magellan Strategies poll placed Huntsman and Gingrich in a tie for third place with 12 percent.

Support among New Hampshire voters for Rick Santorum, Rick Perry and Michele Bachmann was in the low single digits in both polls.

McCain just issued a statement, and he said to back Romney and ‘get it over with.’ I take that to mean this is McCain’s way of saying that we KNEW he would lose. If Romney gets the nod, we’ll lose the same way we did with McCain. Ergo, America is infested with subhumans who want us to endure another 4 years of Obummer.
If McCain can read minds, he’s going to be one outraged and thoroughly pissed off guy when he gets around to me. McCain, you have outlived your usefulness. RESIGN. Go away, and before you leave, CHANGE PARTIES, just like Specter did.

I’m pleased to see Ron Paul is second, but I warn voters that Ron Paul MUST win if the Republicans really want to have the best crack at outvoting Obama out. Anyone else wont do it for you. As I see it..either RON PAUL wins or Anyone else… you lose because all the rest are offering more of the same flip flop BS no action..

Ron Paul has a great deal of support in Australia and we are watching carefully.Pity we cant vote.

the dead in Chicago can vote here. Probably wouldn’t notice a few Aussies adding their two cents. Though you have to vote for the “right” candidate or should I say “left” in order for it to be counted. :)

It seems rather odd for the “Live Free or Die” state to embrace Romney. It’s time to change that motto.
