Study: Obama Youth Support Waning

A new poll conducted by Harvard University, President Barack Obama’s alma mater, found that a growing number of younger voters, many of whom voted for him in 2008, think he will lose the next election.

“This survey may well serve as an ominous sign for Barack Obama’s 2012 chances and the political engagement of America’s largest generation,” said John Della Volpe, polling director at Harvard’s Institute of Politics.

The poll surveyed American 18- to 29-year-olds and found that 36 percent of millennials predict Obama will lose his bid for re-election. The survey shows former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney faring best among potential Republican challengers in a general election match-up against Obama, trailing the President by 11 percentage points, 37 percent to 26 percent. Forty-six percent of those surveyed approved of Obama’s Presidential job performance.

The poll also demonstrates that only one in four millennials support the OWS movement, and 52 percent believe that America is heading in the wrong direction.

    Ironically, the reason Obama’s support among youth is slipping is that he’s caved to the constant–constant–constant–beating of the hate drum from white supremacist websites like this that exploded after the American people elected him, without the help of the Supreme Court or the Florida Election Commision. Back when Cheney was President, and he started Operation Iraqi Liberation, or as I like to call it, variously: “The Decider’s War”, or “The War President’s War” or the “War To Get W’s Picture Taken On An Aircraft Carrier” or, most appropriately, “The War To Make Sure President Cheney Would Be Re-Installed As An Unelected President For A Second Term. At that time, RealAmerican SuperPatriots like yourselves couldn’t crow loudly enough that anyone who didn’t sign his $1.5 trillion blank check was an America-Hating, Al Qaeda-Loving CommaNaziHommaSocialistMuslim. I think young people now know Cheney was a disaster for America. While you crow about Obama’s dipping support, it’s vital for you to neglect to mention that your intention to foist a Cheney 2.0 on America in 2012 isn’t exactly playing well with the electorate, either. But not to worry. The National Socialist German Worker’s Party–whose blunt-dumb, book-burnin’ racism, xenophobic hatred, and bullying you ADORE, as you demonstrated during the town-hall meeting rage-filled shoutdowns and all the breathless, menacing threats flowing on sites like this–never had more than 33% of the popular vote. But through clever mastery of hatred and paranoia, they cowed and bullied the rest of Germany into having to accept their/your Iron Will, and they turned an enlightened, educated nation of cultured people into a fearful, angry, hate-filled “hard as Krupp Steel” nation. Don’t worry, guys. Even if the American electorate, tired of your bullying and destroying this recovery for the last few years, end up re-electing Obama, I’m confident in you. You have so successfully sown and grown a culture of dark hatreds and paranoias that I have every confidence you will summon up at least one little brown-shirt nitwit, short on book-learnin’ and long on firearms, to take with the bullet what you lose with the ballot. Then you can usher in your long-awaited Thousand Year Reich–which only lasted 12 years for the Nazis and their Big Corporate backers before their ignorance and short-sighted greed looted and destroyed the country.

    You may indeed succeed in overthrowing America. You’ve got all the hate and all the weapons–and you may try to stamp your narrow-minded brand of RealAmerica, Inc. as if it is the real America, the America that used to be–the same way the Nazis tried to make nazism synonymous with Germany. Your propaganda machine can gin up and erase the past and make us one monolithic glorious white race–in your small minds.

    But the American people under your boot heels may be more than just a “few dead-enders”, like President Cheney liked to call ‘em. And the American people will NEVER welcome you as liberators.

    Don’t get me wrong,, everyone ! I’m for Ron Paul ! Ron Paul for Prez ! But what I heard is President Obama is going to raise a BILLION DOLLARS for his campaign . That means President will BUY the PRESIDENCY …

    Now this is tough to accept by many of you. A BILLION DOLLARS goes a long way in giving the voters WARM FUZZIES when they vote for Obama !!!

    You just got to do the math. The Republicans can’t get their “act” together. They keep sabotaging Ron Paul’s campaign to become President. Now if Mr. Paul wins the Republican nomination .. the hostility and sabotage won’t stop ! DO YOU REALLY THINK THE REPUBS WILL OUTSPEND OBAMA ? ESPECIALLY IF RON PAUL WINS THE NOMINATION ?

    RON PAUL is going to have to outspend Obama … or come close to outspending Obama ….

    The girl with the sign says volumes. Yes, you could say the new prez ‘changed.’ Part of Obama’s mixed message approach explains how and why he still acts as though he never quite made it to the White House.
    At NO time has he acted with confidence or with a spirit of unity. Arrogance is the one word that best describes this administration. Not since FDR
    has America had a “leader” who surrounded hmself with the most perverse collection of losers and anti-social misfits. As a result, Obama is more of a supreme liar than someone with abilities that can or will produce results.
    You can promise people the moon and stars, but at some point you must ‘deliver,’ or the spell is broken. In his case, the nation is broken, and it is divided.
    WHERE are those jobs? That economy that Obama moaned that he ‘inherited’ is WORSE NOW than when GB was in the White House. America is broke, and we have to borrow money to do anything.
    There are many lessons to be learned from this administration, and the key lesson is in the FACT that a nation must do more than believe.
    A nation has to SURRENDER, in order to make things happen fast. This nation, this America, is not willing to surrender to Obama. It will NEVER surrender to Obama.
    Obama had his chance. He could have been a great president. Instead, he chose to act like a badly programmed, third-rate ventriloquist’s dummy. Bring down the curtain, America. This “show” is CLOSED.
