Saudi Religious Leaders: Female Drivers Would Result In Lack Of Virgins

The results of a so-called “scientific” report written by scholars of Saudi Arabia’s highest religious council, in collaboration with a former King Fahd University professor, said allowing Saudi women to drive would lead to a scarcity of virgins.

The religious scholars, in their report, evaluated the possible impact of repealing the ban in Saudi Arabia, the only country in the world where women are not allowed behind the wheel, reported the FARS News Agency.

The “research” contends that allowing women to drive leads to “moral decline,” saying that in other Muslim countries where women are allowed to drive the decline is already visible. The report also says that the resultant blight of virgins would lead to the proliferation of homosexuality, pornography, prostitution and divorce in the country.

The report was presented to the Shura Council, Saudi Arabia’s legislative body, soon after Shaima Jastaina, a 34-year-old woman was sentenced to 10 lashes after being caught driving.

    Former US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice says Washington must never take the military option off the table and do everything in its power to bring the Iranian government down.

    Rice told This Week political affairs program of ABC television network on Sunday that the US should consider even tougher penalties against Iran’s government and “be doing everything we can to bring it down.”

    She stressed that the US should never take the option of military force off the table when it comes to dealing with Iran, AP reported.

    The US and its allies have intensified their anti-Iran rhetoric ahead of the IAEA report on the country’s nuclear program.

    On November 4, Israeli President Shimon Peres said that an attack on Iran was becoming increasingly more likely.

    Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the Knesset October 31 in an effort to garner support for a military attack on Iran over its nuclear program.

    Supported by Defense Minister Ehud Barak and Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman, Netanyahu argued that Israel should proceed with efforts to encourage the West to exert more economic and political pressure on Iran.

    He also emphasized that any action against Iran should be carried out in full coordination with the United States.

    Israel, which is widely believed to possess over 300 atomic warheads, along with the US accuses Tehran of pursuing a military nuclear program.

    Under pressure from Washington and Tel Aviv, the UN Security Council has imposed four rounds of sanctions against Tehran. Washington and the European Union have also adopted unilateral measures against Iran’s energy sector.

    While Israel refuses to allow inspections of its nuclear facilities or to join the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty based on its policy of nuclear ambiguity, Iran is a signatory to the NPT and has been subjected to snap International Atomic Energy Agency inspections due to its policy of nuclear transparency.

    Israel has recently test fired a new long-range missile capable of carrying nuclear warheads. The test was carried out at the Palmahim air base in central Israel.

    This three-stage Jericho-3 missile which is capable of delivering a 750-kilo warhead to a distance, is estimated to have a range of up to 10,000 kilometers.

    Paradoxically, the new nuke-capable missile, which can target many parts of the globe, is not considered a threat in the eyes of the West. No, no, its the muslims that are evil, NOT THE WEST!!!

If there were any vestal virgins, they would know that they could NEVER give themselves to any man–spiritual or corporeal.     This sort of injustice can happen to any country and any culture. The men are not involved enough to love their women. Most of the Asian cultures could be different but are no better than that of Saudi.

    European are lucky to have Queens as their leader, who pay more attention to social order than wars like men. For countries decide to get tough, tough gets going. And the harshness would be on minorities and females.

    Cultures adore injustice in laws or religion even getting worse because evil beliefs can restrict their behavior for a change. When the top power layer is defeated by external forces, the race(s) will face genocide.

        Obviously, the Rosenblooms, who claim to be evangelical, dispensationalist, Christians, believe that only Jews are God’s Chosen People, and no-one else! Yes, unfortunately, like so many people today who claim to be fine evangelical Christians, the Rosenblooms are bigoted and racist. And racism is a sin.

        What the Rosenblooms and, indeed, virtually the entire evangelical Christian establishment fail to acknowledge is that God is not a racist bigot! He does not favor the Jews over Arabs, nor Aryans over Jews, nor whites over blacks, nor blacks over whites.

      The Egyptian police who arrested female protesters during the Arab Spring gave them virginity tests to prove that they were unfit for society. If they didn’t pass the test additional charges were applied.That is not much different than in Saudi Arabia. That is why it is important for Americans to keep sight of their Liberties and keep the government and police out of their personal lives.It’s also a warning not to ever let religion dominate government or for them to force their religious will on anyone.         Jon, I lived extensively in Middle Eastern and Central Asian countries and more than often asked myself how Muslim society under Sharia Law will socio & economical advance with the continuation of depriving and oppressing women. Women are the home makers, teachers, educators, nurses and doctors and make things happen in many departments. Women, and particular in Muslim countries, have the so crucial and sought after implements to combat for example illiteracy. Not the way to go if Muslim society willingly wants to live under 800 A.D. circumstances and living conditions.

        One of the foundation of Anti-Americanism is for Muslims to make an argument that the secular American and Western European society breeds immorality and that it celebrates immodesty among women and destroys the family. Whether we agree or disagree, these issues have become a battleground in most industrialized countries. This type of transformation is not planned, it is an evolution that is simply happening, we have to live with and accept. So far these liberties are bestowed on us where we can make our own choices on how we conduct our lives and manage the family unit.

        Women in my book are no baby makers or be kept prisoner at their houses to clean and cook. Women can make unlimited and valuable contributions today in Muslim society.

    If driving will result in homosexuality, pornography, prostitution and divorce, then the best thing to do is to make vehicles of all types illegal and immoral. Learn to WALK.
    What they don’t say is even more interesting. What does driving do to men? It sounds to me as though men should be whipped and tortured for daring to drive women anywhere in any vehicle.
    Well, it’s their report. They didn’t look for any outside help in compiling this astounding report. They almost make a case for the idea that any man who is interested in women owes it to himself to be a martyr.
    That way, you get virgins, and you no longer have to dwell on vehicles and what may or may not interfere with having access to virgins. One MUST have PRIORITIES.

    And this is from a country where a man can divorce a woman simply by standing in the town square and announcing three times “I divorce you!” The woman has no such option. Instead, she MUST catch her husband in an act of infidelity, along with two other males as witnesses. This is the ONLY way she can divorce, and once divorced, she immediately loses all rights to any of his property, and may be lucky enough to have a father who is willing to allow her to come back into his house, where she is required by law to take up the veil and nevermore show her face in public. The in public even counts as having unrelated male guests in her father’s home.

They would take away women’s rights in a heart beat. Actually that is already being done so should we take away the 19th Amendment too while they are on a roll. I doubt very much if Obama wants our country to be like that and probably the opposite. How many Presidents have kissed up to the Saudi regime over many decades and treated them like best of buds? The Saudi government allowed the Wahhabi Schools to flourish and teach anti-Americanism while all past Presidents accepted that. Remember that the Saudi government is extremely Conservative so that would be more in line with your thinking.

The real problem is that these people have been indoctrinated for about twelve hundred years or more that they MUST obey whoever is in charge or they will be killed. And killed by torture if possible. Even though they may intellectually believe it is wrong, they will obey when ordered simply due to that that indoctrination. They do not DARE come out and admit that the culture is wrong for fear that they or some of their relatives will suffer for it – even if they don’t agree that it is right.

        Even ones raised here accept that and will for multi-generations. That’s why many Muslim families prefer to send their girls back to the “homeland” to marry so they can reinforce that belief.

        That indoctrination is sort of the same as we are seeing our children being taught in schools now. There is only so much we can do to un-do that indoctrination – and the goverment is trying to make that illegal too.

        This has nothing whatsoever to do with virginity, chastity, or morality, and their religious police authorities involved know it. Last time I checked, a single female would have a hard time losing her virginity while driving alone, or otherwise without the active involvement of a male.

        My brother worked in Saudi Arabia and his wife, married daughter, and unmarried daughter could not visit him there because there was no way to get to the new city he was building, using imported sand, without driving and he was their only male relative in that part of the world. Another friend is the Christian wife of an Iranian Muslim who lived there during the Shah’s regime, and she has told us a lot of things that went on there. Sure, some illicit sex occurs here in cars, and some forces here promote early and promiscuous sex, easy divorce by either party, etc., but this is ridiculous. The current U. S. administration pushes and pressures other countries to legalize abortion on demand, homosexual conduct, a right to rent a hotel room for immoral purposes, something that got slipped into our nondiscrimination law without most people realizing it, but doesn’t dare even speak to Saudi Arabia, and Presidents of both parties lie about how peaceful the Muslims and Arabs are, because they have us over a barrel on oil, gas, and holding billions of dollars of American money and debt instruments.

        Al Queda hates the incumbent Saudi regime, in part for its dealings with the U. S. including letting us use bases there, but the fact is that most of the 9/11 hijackers, the leader of which left a video saying he would not want any women at his funeral, were Saudi Arabian Sunni Wahabbi Muslims, the same hard-shelled Muslim sect, the established form of Islam under the Saudi monarchy, the same group that has never allowed women to drive, among other things. It is also the group that has used some of the huge amounts of money derived from sales of oil to America to spread its brand of Muslim schools teaching hate around the world, and concealing anti-personnel shrapnel weapons in the construction of U. S. funded schools for girls, the acid attacks on other girls going to school, etc.

        I try to be tolerant of other religions and think that they are just trying their best to get back to their heaven in their particular form, but then I see stories like this and have to shake my head and admit that this religion is a joke.
        Sadly it casts a bad light on other religions because it is seen as merely a justification for evil and domination and lightweight intellectuals equate Islam with every other religion.
        Why didn’t the council rule that driving would lead to more traffic accidents so that more young women (virgins) could assend to heaven and be waiting for the suicide bombers to come up and claim them as thier prizes?
        Its just sick and wrong.
