Man Arrested For Beer Bottle Chucking

GAINESVILLE, Fla., Dec. 6 (UPI) — Police in Florida said they arrested two men who threw beer containers from atop a parking garage, once while an officer was on the sidewalk below.
Gainesville police said an officer was flagged down about 12:15 a.m. Sunday by a witness who said two men were throwing beer containers from the fifth level of the parking garage at 105 S.W. Third St., The Gainesville Sun reported Tuesday.
Officer Jeremiah Kelly said a full beer bottle exploded on the sidewalk between him and the witness while they were talking on the sidewalk next to the parking garage.
Gregory Michael Byerly, 21, and Peter Claibourne Hansinger, 22, were arrested and charged with one count each of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and aggravated assault.
