Those OW Protestors are nothing more than human parasites who feed off of the blood money of honest taxpayers. Sure there may be a few crooked wall street people, but only the simple-minded believe that they are in the majority.

Hey , OW Fleabaggers, if tou really wanr to launch a LEGITIMATE PROTEST, just move your flea bags to the lawn outside pf the White House. Good Luck!

The parents of these juveniles were probably not as bad as they are, they just never taught their kids the reality in the age old proverb, that there is “No Free Lunch,” because someone, somewhere has to pay for it. However, the government has taught them the lie that there is indeed “a free lunch.” Naturally, they swallowed that lie hook line and sinker. If we did a study of these parents, we would probably find that they allowed their off-spring to do as they pleased, and gave them little or no discipline. If they got any, these peoples actions reveal that they never accepted any training or teaching of respect for private property. Add to this, our educational system being an aide to this kind of philosophy. Public education has taught them there is no God, you evolved from animals and lower life forms, survival is based on the “wolf pack mentality,” so, they have started to act out their belief system, which is animalistic. Chances are that when these people grew up their parents weren’t there, they received no teaching of morals, and many no doubt became wards of the state. Their offspring will be worse than these. It will boil down to a civil war between the Socialist/Marxist Ideology and the US Constitution. Socialist are thugs who think they have the right to take what you and I worked for and give it to lazy bums/punks/liars, and thieves, who won’t work. Civil War will come unless this is stopped. America as much as I love it, has committed some grave sins and still does today. God always judges sin, whether we like that or not, that is the way it is. God still has the answer for all people, and it’s found in the Holy Bible. Anarchy is not the answer, and God is not the author of confusion, and OWS is mass confusion. They can’t even say with one accord what they are protesting. That is the stupid part. However, Christ died for these people even though they represent anarchy, looting, every kind of violence. These OWS people are consumed with anger, bitterness, and darkness of soul. They couldn’t see the truth if it stood in front of them. For a real taste of Socialism and Marxism they need to go to North Korea/Cuba/ Russia or Venezuela. There they can get a real education of what Socialism and Marxism really is.

Once again: Where have you been? THEY ARE NOT ALL JUVENILES! And many are veterans who have joined, especially since that vet was seriously injured by the police. At least whoever they are aren’t just sitting on their butts at keyboards bitching and complaining.

      • Angel Wannabe

AND karolyn, I’ll tell ya another reason for OWS encampment, especially in the cities,… what better way is there to aid in the collapse of an capitalist economic system than to, camp out among business’s and thwart more business because they don’t want to be around OWS, the business’s have already suffered from a down turned economy!!__It’s not rocket science!

      • Angel Wannabe

K, should’ve read “because customers don’t want to be around OWS”!

      • http://naver samurai

You mean like you do? FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

  • cheryl lynn

Occupy Wall street is no laughing matter. It is a very dangerous movement. I saw what this type of leftist progressive movement did in the 60′ and early 70′. The Clinton’s were protestors during this time. This is the way the left pushes there liberal agenda and move this country further into socialism. Hermon Cain is being trampled from the left with Axelrod as its chief destroyer. The left is really worried that we could actually turn this country back to the Constitutional values of Free Speech, Gun Rights, Religion, protection from search and seizure.freedom of the press. etc The left only uses the Constitution when it fits there agenda. Occupy Wall street is a movement to take away freedom. The Tea Party is a movement to give us back our freedoms.

    • Morduin00

I am in line with your thinking Cheryl Lynn. Nothing like a smart woman to make this old guy smile :-)

    • Christin

      Cheryl,

      Amen!

Occupy was said to be “the fringe of the fringe of the fringe” by a news reporter… wow, that is WAY “anarchist” left… super dangerous to Freedom, useful idiots by the NWO folks.

    • Karolyn

Is there still a Tea Party? I have seen or heard nothing from or about them in quite some time.

      • Angel Wannabe

K__ oh beg to differ__ the Tea Party is still alive and well, they’re just overshadowed right now in the Lebby news because of the OWS-ers reports on, burning cars, shooting and raping women, and getting fleas and tuberculosis!

      • Christin

        Karolyn,

The ‘Tea Party’ folks are at Home responsibly raising their children, Working for a living to provide for themselves and their family and donating when they can to the more unfortunate, going to church to pray for God’s divine will, and Paying Taxes to pay for the Entitlement crowd including OWS and the greedy govt officials who are lining their pockets while putting debt on America.

      • http://naver samurai

Well said Angel and Christin. If you see my name on this site, then you have a member of the Tea Party on site also. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Christin

        Samurai, :)

@Ben Crystal – Damn man…seems you’ve struck a nerve with the Useful Idiots. ROFLMAO@them. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.

    • Angel Wannabe

Bem, yepper the Libby’s got they’re panties in a bunch today!!!___and I love it! :)

      • Karolyn

As I sit here smiling and chuckling as I type! :-)

  • JayO

    Alex,
You seem to me to not believe in god, so how can you believe in hell?

I imagine you believe we should’ve left hitler alone and not got involved?

But I shouldn’t say things like that, I don’t know you and I’m sure you have lived a perfect life and never done anything wrong to anyone. Hey, maybe we should make YOU president!

  • Ronbo

Jopa we need you here more often. Intelligence is the best way to scare away the proudly ignorant.

    • s c

That’s a good one, r. NEWS FLASH! If you get what j proposes, that means you’ll NEVER infest this website again. ‘Proudly arrogant’ is a fairly good way to describe what’s going on between your widely-spaced ears, comrade. OK, back to your parrot’s cage.

      • eddie47d

Are you still trying to walk on water SC? Don’t get a chill when you sink!

    • http://naver samurai

I guess this means it’ll scare you away also, hmmm? FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

  • JayO

    Folks,
It has nothing to do with an “R” or a “D”. Our system as a whole is run by corrupt men and women who are only interested in maintaining their power to rule. There are a small group of genuine men and women in our government who truly want to do what is right for our country, but they need our help as “Americans” not democrats or republicans or independants. It’s not about party, it’s about country, and the lnoger they can keep us arguing about which party is the best; the longer they can work in the background to take our freedoms away.
The economics are simple, if government gets it’s funding from taxpayers and continues to give away more than they take in, they eventually run out of funding. We’re there right now people! Borrowing in excess of .40 cents on the dollar to do what? Don’t just listen to the media, look at the actual bills these crooks pass. You can see the crony spending all over the place, and this is our money they are buying votes with. We need good people in office who will truly represent what is in our best interests, not just theirs.

    • Morduin00

Finally, someone who makes sense. Hear! Hear!

During the time of Reagan, when I became eligible to vote, the Repubs matched my beliefs more closely. Now they have strayed from the conservative farm and have become almost as bad as the Dems.

Face it folks. The Robin Hood theory of governing doesn’t work. Neither does the Prince John theory.

The only theory that has been proven to work is the federal republic as constituted by our founding fathers. But, even they knew that if the populace started receiving hand-outs and became dependent on the federal government, the republic would end.

This has come to pass as the majority of people now believe that we are to live in a democracy and we are suffering the same pains as any democracy 200+ years old suffers from.

We need to take back our government from those who serve no purpose but to fulfill their own power-hungry needs and restore our federal republic as it was intended.

The majority of federal programs should be abolished and, if a particular state wants those programs, they can pay for them. Restore state’s rights!

Control the Money, Control the World

The powers of financial capitalism had a far-reaching plan, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole…

Their secret is that they have annexed from governments, monarchies, and republics the power to create the world’s money.

International Bankers have Stolen the Power from the Worlds’ Sovereign Nations to Create Money

The system of privately owned banks beginning in England in 1694 and now dominating the United States and every developed nation have financed most of the world’s wars in the last three hundred years, greatly enabled and extended them by financing both sides, and driven these countries into massive debt, essentially enslaving governments and populations to international banking institutions.

We cannot even begin to understand how great concentrations of economic and political power have developed in our country, why our farmers are being driven out of the agricultural industry in droves, how the advocates of world government are aiming to subjugate the NUTRITIONAL SUPPLEMENT INDUSTRY TO THE MUCH MORE CONCENTRATED PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY, or why we are approaching a massive financial crisis that threatens to vaporize the average person’s wealth while enriching only the very tip-top figures in the banking industry, unless we understand what real money is and what kind of an unthinkable crime and complete conspiracy the formation of our central bank has been.

    The Rise of the Bankers
    http://www.conspiracywatch.net/2011/02/how-international-bankers-gained.html

    • JC

      Further to that:

“By a continuing process of inflation, governments can confiscate, secretly and
unobserved, an important part of the wealth of their citizens. There is no
subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to
debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law
on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which not one man in a
      million is able to diagnose.”
      – John Maynard Keynes
      (1883-1946) British economist
Source: “The Economic Consequences Of The Peace”

“The modern banking system manufactures money out of nothing. The process is perhaps the most astounding piece of sleight of hand that was ever invented. Banking was conceived in iniquity and was born in sin. The Bankers own the earth. Take it away from them, but leave them the power to create money and control credit, and with the flick of the pen they will create enough deposits to buy it all back again. However, take this great power away from them, and all the great fortunes like mine disappear, and they ought to disappear, for this would be a happier and better world to live in. But, if you wish to remain the slaves of Bankers and pay the cost of your own slavery, let them continue to create money and control credit.” ~ Sir Josiah Stamp, Director of the Bank of England in the 1920s, reputed to be the second wealthiest man in England at that time

And there are just so many more like these.

      • Sirian

Yes, it’s called the FEDERAL RESERVE. Ever read up on the Fed? Try it, you’ll enjoy.

      • JC

I traced it all back to Meyer Rotschilds (nee Bauer) to a pawn shop on Juden Street in Frankfurt during the reign of Prince William of Hanau in the mid-late 1700′s.
Meyer Bauer stole a fortune from the Prince and absconded to London and changed his name…
Believe me, I know the whole story.

  • jopa

There appears to be more confusion among the Teabaggers than any other group in America. They have been taken over by the likes of the Koch brothers and Karl Roves regime and don’t even know what the issues are that these groups are promoting. All they say is I’m a Teabagger and don’t even know why.A lot of the Teabaggers are elderly and confused individuals packed on to buses for trips to DC and fed a lot of baloney sandwiches. Some have never been out of the backwood burroughs and villages throughout America and for the Kochs and Rove to give them a free bus ride and food is their idea of going to Disney World.I have heard stories of the stench filth and disease many of these backwood folks carry on their journeys but many don’t know proper hygiene or are becoming senile. One of my neighbors is a Teabagger and I just place care packages of soap and other sanitary items on their porch for them to pass around among their group.

    • Zack

jopa you are misguided. You aren’t talking about the Teapartiers, you are describing the Fleabaggers. Try to get your head out of the sand and get a little education.

Peter Schiff at Occupy Wall Street.
Amazing how incredibly ignorant the fleabaggers really are.
They have absolutely no concept of truth/logic/economics or even
what it is they are angry at. What a bunch of complete flakes.
Watch how they become hysterical in the face of reason…

Hope you all had a Happy Armistice Day.

Don’t worry about praying for any of our dead bombers, though. Like Islamofascist suicide bombers, our own gutless wonders, the ones who dropped bombs on Hiroshima, and Hanoi, and Baghdad, and Panama City, etc, are all burning in Hell, right alongside Hitler, Ronald Reagan, and John Wayne Gacy. Yep, Paul Tibbitts, the Enola Gay commander who never apologized, is being seared as we speak, just like Heinrich Himmler and Josef Stalin.

When you really get down to it, the suicide bombers in the Middle-East are, actually, marginally less evil than our Air Force bombers, right? ‘Cause when the idiot suicide bomber makes his Evil point, he knows that HE is going to die, AS WELL, while are military bombers, can incinerate sleeping babies and still make home for dinner!! HAA! Such pigs we are!!

    • JC

Hitting the “crazy” extra hard today?

      • Alex

So weird that none of you ever have any cogent rejoinders to what I write.

      • Ronbo

If you are going to brag about your “cogent” points, please make them. At least you recognize that Ronald Reagan did our nation a disservice. Obama IS the black Reagan – enabling the rich to take from the poor.

      • JC

Actually, it’s : Enabling the Government to take from EVERYBODY that is the real problem.

      • JC

Because what you write so all over the board senseless it isn’t concievable to try and address it. Might as well try talking to a monkey.

Get the Government OUT of business and the Federal Reserve OUT of the money printing business…then maybe we’ll have a level playing field.

      • eddie47d

Since the majority of our corporations and some businesses are part and parcel of crony capitalism then you have one heck of an up hill battle. You have to be willing to take on your friends in high places(Wall Street) also in order to achieve that goal of yours.

      • JC

My goal posts don’t include communism or crony capitalism.
They are part of the same disease.
I’m an American Constitutionalist…look it up.

      • MilitaryPatriot

No one will respond to you, other then you are fool. You apparently have not been taught the true history of our wars. You sound like a young snot nose kid.

JC, I think the resident Liberals on PLD needs a good healthy, STHU today!

      • JC

Maybe, but some days they are pretty amusing, don’t ya think? ;) lol

    • LES

Unless you lived through WW II you do not know what you are talking about the bombing on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Those bombs saved millions of lives both American and Japanese.
The Japanese would have never surrender, they would have fought every inch of their home land. When the first bomb was dropped and they saw the devastation they did not surrender even then, they could have saved the second city by surrendering but they chose to fight on shows how determined they were.

If we had to invade, like we did in Europe, the war would have gone on another year. Every city in Japan would lie in ruins, and millions would have died. Those two bombs saved lives and much of Japan.

      • Sirian

What you say is so true yet these young fools have not been taught anything near that truth. In reality they haven’t the slightest idea as to what prompted WWII as well as what the end results may have been if “Fat Man” and “Little Boy” had not been used. If only they could – by some remote chance – even comprehend how terrible invading Japan would’ve been over using two nukes. Again, you are right.

    • http://naver samurai

What a rant! So full of lib kool aid that his brain must have beem switched off while responding. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

P.S. This shows how much you hate veterans by this ignorant posting.

  • Bobby B

    Hey Erika
You need to learn the truth. I don’t vote along party linesI usualy vote for who willdo the best job. The Dem party use to be called the socialist party, then the progresive party. The vote along the lines of socialism.
If you wnat a socialistic kind of country move to N. Korea, Russha, China they will welcome you. Also check there are more rich Democaratic congressmen than Republicans. The whole Idea of the New society that was set up by the Johnson administration was to control the people with money from government programs and guarantee their votes. The Independants and Republicans just want the chance to live the American dream. That is why people from all over the world try to come to this country for freedom and a chance to thrive. With too high of taxes and too much gov. control neither thing can hapen.

  • FreedomFighter

    • Evermyrtle

Holder, if we could get rid of him and about three dozen of his cohorts our country would be in a much better condition. They have united to see us go down the drain. Oh, I know there are many more but if we could replace the top 37, Holder and three dozen more, with true Christians we would be doing great.

      • Ronbo

It would be better to get rid of all paid-political persons. Repubs and Dems BOTH depend on money from the wealthy – so they do what the wealthy want.

        Democracy is paralyzed by money.

      • s c

So, r, WHY do you have to be REMINDED that America is supposed to be a REPUBLIC – not a frickin’ democracy? You should go to the head of the line for Obummer’s half-assed healthcare. That first brain transplant you got didn’t work. Now you have something in common with one of your political ‘gods’ – Al “duh” Gore.
Give it a rest, comrade. Or, take more Prozac.

      • eddie47d

I thought SC bought out the nations Prozac supply? That ought to bring down the debt a bit.

  • tootsie

Now Erika, put on your thinking cap and analyze what you just said. As far as Obama’s plan, it supports teachers and government employees. Obama tried that last time round and it failed to create jobs.

It failed because the powerful teachers union has no intention of cooperating with the the masses of ordinary people like you and me. They have proven this in NY.

And guess what the powerful rich Dems like Soros, Pelosi, the media moguls are using you like bait on a hook.

When you serve your purpose you will be the first against the firing wall.

But you are to be forgiven because you are obviously young and have no life’s experiences yet.

If you are a college graduate and have no job blame the EPA for over regulations, the teachers unions for not counseling you properly and yourself for not doing your own research.

    • Evermyrtle

Tootsie, you hit it right on the head. The only thing Obam is interested in is overcoming America,or may I say “selling America out” and glorifing Obam.

    • Ronbo

It did halt an economy in freefall. But “big brains” like tootsie (HA) don’t consider that a benefit.

Tootsie – replace your “thinking cap” it is too tight and cutting off your circulation. Your brain needs oxygen to function properly.

      • s c

Ye gods, r. You’re making me appreciate little e from Colorado. He RARELY makes sense, but he makes more sense than YOU, comrade. You should keep a diary, and find a way to have easy access to every dumbed-down, borderline remark you ever posted to this website. Do you go through life wearing a mask so no one will recognize you? Get help, sock puppet.

      • eddie47d

Thanks for the half hearted compliment SC but I seriously doubt if I’ll be hanging it on the wall or be using it as a reference. You are definitely one strange bird!

      • CJM

Last time I looked, Ronbo, we are still in that economic freefall…when did it stop????

      • Angel Wannabe

rondo Oh yeah, the economy’s doing great!__ and all is well in the land of OZ!__Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain,… my God you Libs are wacked!!!

      • http://naver samurai

#OWS is a fantastic outpouring of reality from the 99%. Why is this site degrading us? Why must we accept control from the Wealthy Corporate Class?

    • carlos

Ronbo, First: We don’t want to be controlled by the banker class! But neither do we want to be controlled by the welfare class! And….some of us got good educations from the public schools, and were taught to recognize Communist propaganda. And of course know about “Neighborhood Organizers” Che` was one! And the term Progressive has long been used by the communists. They have a habit of using those like you, then at the last minute taking over your revolution! They call you “Useful Idiots” after they have consolidated power….useful idiots are “liquidated” (that doesn’t mean wealthy retirement). Read up on Communism and learn!

      • Ronbo

The welfare class has zero power. Don’t lie and deceive. Communism?!? Dude, your education was poor – at best. Learn the difference between the “isms” before you misuse them. No one is talking about centralized production; just shows how uneducated you truly are.

Now go google “Obama, CIA and Business International Corporation”. It will show you how you are being misled about Obama; he is a member of the 1% and is working to turn Social Security over to the 1%. We agree that Obama must go. Obama is a trojan-horse republican. Just google and read.

      • s c

r, you did it again! Do you get PAID to spout this pig sty crap? You expect us to believe that we should support that W H poser, and in the same breath you DARE to say that Obummer must “go.” That’s a new way to prove that you’re double-minded

      • Ronbo

Obama is a trojan-horse Republican. Google “Obama, CIA and Business Intelligence Corporation”. He is working for the 1%. Look at what he has actually done (not “said”, words are cheap) – extended the Bush tax cuts for the rich, passed mandatory payments from all Americans to Health Insurance Companies, extended republican-started wars, exported torture to overseas countries, expanded drone killing, assassinated Americans without habeus corpus, stopped all investigation of: bankers, financial investors, etc…. He may talk socialism; but, Obama signs Republican legislation.

      • JC

Ronbo, you wouldn’t know truth or logic if slapped you in the head.
You and your kind are all ideologically driven emotional wrecks who want to be taken care of by some Mommy figure.

Each week several posters say there is no difference between the Republicans and the Democrats. Even the founder of this site has said so so why would you continually dispute anyone who sees this light. Instead of remaining in one sided darkness you need to explore other possibilities in search for the truth.

You have the right to say what you want because folks like by dad, brother, uncles, cousins put their lives on the line, but it’s a safe bet you haven’t. You also contradict yourself saying that your messiah is one of you, yet he must go–well, which is it? He’s out-lived your usefulness so now you want to dump him???? A republican trojan horse? Let’s see, I think that phrase came up a short time ago by one of those yellow journalists who was spouting off in favor or the liberals because they fear the next election may put someone else in the Oval Office. And by the way, Ronbo, the term trojan horse was used in a derogatory manner to describe your messiah; a little unkind of the liberal media wouldn’t you say.

how many of the citizens of the USA can, just NOT go to work for a few weeks, camp out in zucckini park in nyc and in various other cities accross our country, rob, rape, murder, stay unwashed, spread disease among themselves (share and share alike), and be loved by the mayors of theses various cities and still have a job to return to ? the answere is ZERO. these occupy slime are being supported by our tax money through some local/state/federal “be good to the poor” programs and some soros organizations. this is a revolution against the USA. jail or kill all of them, they do not serve any useful purpose, except to waste our oxygen. then arrest every mayor who supported them for sedition.

you can use all the class distinctions you want, we are all Americans here. its this slime who contiually bring up this class distintion. why arent they protesting in dc, where the laws have been passed to put our country 14 trillion in debt ? why arent they protesting the giant corporation GE, who paid zero federal income taxes ? oil and bank are easy targets for this slime, and they know it. dont be duped, whoever took out a student loan, which, by the way was from fannie or freddie mac, did not have a gun pointed at their head to force them to do it. thats a great slogan “we dont want to pay back our student loans”, I dont want to pay my rent, but i made a commitment to do it, so did these slimeballs. they are all disgusting. if they dont like our country, move out, nothing is forcing them to stay here. there shd be a telethon, to raise cash to buy all of them 1 way tickets, to a country of their choice, and on the condition of penalty of death, never to return to the USA. we do not need any of these slime here, no matter what universities they graduated from. they are western civilization disrupters and chaos causing revolutionaries.

WELL SAID!!! MY question is, WHERE ARE THE WATER CANNONS? Why aren’t they arresting these people? The First Amendment CLEARLY STATES–Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging freedom of speech, or of the press; or of the people PEACEABLY TO ASSEMBLE, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

These people are NOT ‘PEACEABLY’ assembling…they are destroying property, urinating in public, and OTHER things, there is rape, drug use, robbery, CHILD ENDANGERMENT for those ‘parents’ who allow their small, minor children to be there, they are vandalizing neighborhood businesses…WHERE ARE THE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS?!!! If THEY won’t do their jobs…SEND IN THE NATIONAL GUARDSMEN!!! I’m TELLING you, these OWS people are BULLIES…I’ve always been told, that when YOU stand up TO the bullies, they always back down, because THEY are a big chicken. Maybe WE THE PEOPLE should run them OUT of these cities, if the Mayors and law enforcement aren’t going to do their jobs…JUST SAYIN’.

      • eddie47d

No the bullies are on Wall Street but I don’t see YOU protesting their actions or lack of accountability on the financial downgrade of America. OWS is also protesting all corporations who have gotten a free ride off our easily manipulated system including GE.So don’t be so naive because the problems are multi faceted including Washington itself.

e, those OWSer retards don’t get it. IF they DID, they’d be camped out in front of the W H! FYI – since you CAN’T get it into that concrete head of yours, the head of GE IS IN BED WITH YOUR WHITE HOUSE ‘GOD.” HOW is it possible that GE can GET AWAY with paying ZERO TAXES?
e, you came to this website clueless, and you’re still CLUELESS. Don’t dare to preach or bitch and moan when you violate your own “standards,” bubba.

I concur that the phony NeoConservative Machiavellians are too often delusional at best – hypocritical and self-righteous at worst – as to what goes on inside another person’s skull I will not venture to guess. they blindly dismiss corruption in their own camp while obsessing how evil Soetoro is – yet went out of their way to give that scumbag McWar the nod while marginalizing Ron Paul just as they do now.

The self-righteous and hypocritical NeoCons take worst case incidents and portray them as normative. The HUGE problem is that lumping people together is called collectivism – collectivism includes racism, communism socialism among other “isms”.

My personal experience – and I can only speak for myself is that the Occupy Atlanta people were easy to dialog with – treat them with respect which means talk WITH them not TO them – hear their concerns and they will hear yours in turn.

I disagree with the view of “gay” rights as yet another collectivist tact – INDIVIDUALS HAVE RIGHTS – not because of their race, gender or sexual proclivities – I have found the INDIVIDUALS @ Occupy Atlanta to find this reasonable premise acceptable.

      • CJM

So, Mark, you think it is perfectly alright for these “peaceful” members of OWS to rape, murder, and otherwise harm those who do not want to be involved but find they have to cut through the OWS filthy muck in order to get to work? And it’s perfectly alright for these mobsters to defecate in public on police cars or wherever they wish so they can spread more disease? And it’s perfectly alright for these mobsters to use filth laden language that is socially UNACCEPTABLE under any circumstance? My, what a kind citizen you are. It would not be surprising if it was righties (paid Koch employees) who did the damage just to put the demonstrators in a bad light. Conservatives always say that when the shoe is on the other foot.

You so achingly wish to see the Occupy Wall Street Movement suffer a decline as quick its meteoric ascendancy, but take it from me—you need the OWS folks to last awhile, as they have provided you with the only even moderately funny material you’ve had for weeks on the laugh track-saddled spoofs you tape in your mother’s basement. Seriously, some of your Fleabag stuff is worth at least quiet chuckle.

The entire Wall Street environment is so different from th eSixties in that the hard-working union laborers have rallied in support of the demonstrators. Four decades ago the ‘union thugs’ you Reich Wingers rail against were pounding anti-war protesters, beating even Vietnam Veterans themselves—the ‘Free Market’ gluttons sure didn’t have a problem with union workers then, did they?

As for Attorney General Eric Holder apologizing for a murder occurring as a result of the ‘Fast and Furious’ fiasco—you have a valid point—what a mess!— but wihy are you not equally adamant that the Bush Crime Family apologize to the 4400+ American families whose loved ones they murdered when they gave up on finding bin Laden and instead wove a war of whole cloth?

Word of advice? Lose the laugh track. Maybe work an audience, if you dare. Laugh tracks are like hanging a photoshopped Sports Illustrated cover with you smiling out in your Davidson cheerleader sweater—it’s just not genuine.

You seem like you could maybe be a nice guy, if you read some books.

Both of you sound like idiots with your heads in the sand! You will choose any chance to blame Obama for what’s going on in the world today. It’s the crybaby republicans who don’t want to work with him and help get this economy back where it belongs. There was a report done on this not too long ago, how rep’s. main goal is to not allow Obama to get re-elected. Damn the American people, they don’t want this man in office. And for those of you dumb enough to support a republican guess what? They don’t care about you, because they’re rich and have the finances to keep their families afloat in this time of crisis. Are they doing anything to help put you back to work, NO!! Get off your soap boxes and do something proactive that will benefit ALL Americans, not just one particular party!!!!!

    • Maureen

      Erika,
Gee let’s see the republicans want to balance the budget and get rid of the deficit but every time they come up with a suggestion and O turns it down it’s them who are keeping him from succeeding. Can’t have it both ways you obviously believe everything that the lamestream media feeds you. Need to find a new group to pounce on it won’t work with readers like the two people you trashed.

      • Ronbo

Maureen, we can’t get out of this Depression if the public has no money to spend. The top 1% have amassed half of all the wealth in this nation and they aren’t spending it. As a result, our economy is failing. The politicians, by restricting spending are throwing us deeper into the Depression. No one ever reversed a Depression by cutting spending – as reduced spending is what threw us into the depression in the first place. No business EVER hired a person because spending was down. Only demand for products triggers companys to hire. Reduced spending = reduced demand = reduced hiring = extending the Depression. Use your noggin’ and stop parroting TV nitwits.

      • chris

Ronbo, Why would the rich want others to be poor? If the rich hold on to the wealth and let no-one else have any, then eventually they will make no more money, because no-one will be able to buy their products. So what you said makes no sense. The rich want others to have more money too, so that others will spend money on their businesses and products.

      • Karolyn

The rich may not really want everybody to be poor, but what they do want is for everybody else to stay where they are, so they can remain firmly planted on their backs.

      • http://naver samurai

Nice rhetoric, lies, and innuendo there Karolyn. Do you know this for a fact or is this just your opinion? If the rich people own industries that manufacture products for the consumers to buy, why would they not want the people to have money? If they have no money, they can’t buy anything. If the people can’t buy anything, they make no money. If they make no money, then they will become poor and penniless also. Ergo, everyone would be poor and depending on the government for daily support. Wait a minute! That’s what the libs want! To become a socialist state. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Karolyn

samurai – I didn’t say they didn’t want anybody to have any money. I just said they want to keep us all in our place.

      • http://naver samurai

Oh, I don’t know Karolyn. I’m sure ther are wealthy individuals out there that donate money for training the masses for work skills aren’t there? Many of them also donate to charities that help pay hospital bills that the average person cannot afford to pay. If this is keeping us in our place, I would hate to see the other side. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • John_LA

You are correct that a reduction in spending hampers recovery from a recession, but this applies to the people’s spending not the government’s. Increaing spending (another “Stimulus” plan) was the Obama Jobs and Tax Plan. This “plan” is nothing more than yet another strategy in the larger attempt to drag this country back to the glory days of the socialist Democratic Party – The Great Depression. The Obama tax plan is simply legislation to redistribute wealth and accumulate power in the central government – socialism. With the economy teetering on the brink of a double dip of the Great Recession this is not what the American people want to hear much less experience. We’ve been there, done that, got the t-shirt in the 1930’s. Blow the dust off this nonsense and the yellow stains and odor of the whiz history took on similar legislation in 1932 comes back with a vengeance. Henry Morgenthau Jr., FDR’s treasury secretary wrote in his diary that, “we have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work… We have never made good on our promises… I say after eight years of this Administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started… and an enormous debt to boot!” The top income tax bracket zoomed from 24% in 1932 to 90% by the end of 1933. In short the New Deal was not simply a dismal failure, but exacerbated a bad economic down-turn into The Great Depression and prevented recovery until WWII. The WPA was rife with corruption and inefficiency, destroyed half as many jobs in the private sector as it created in the public sector, and simply destroyed many private sector employers. These are the models of the Obama tax and job plans! If you have no original worthwhile ideas of your own, at least copy ideas of those who were successful, like Ronald Reagan. His tax plan was to cut taxes, reduce the size and burden of government. It was so successful a jobs plan wasn’t needed. Starting WWIII is not an option I hope you will consider, though it shows more promise than the Obama plans.

      • Marty S.

Don’t worry about WWIII. Im sure they have a plan for that after all how else do they really make head way in the population reduction department?

      • Mike in MI

        Ronbo -
Your post is all Keynsian sludge – which, incidently, he mostly repudiated (resulting in his fall to disfavor on the left) when he was older and wiser. But, lefties in academe’ still teach it because they like to wallow in sludge and want you to like it, too…and feel intellectual.
The worst part is they never include the part about what happens to a dollar the government takes away for its great works. It works kinda like this (oversimplified): The government takes a dollar of somebody’s profit, or need in some cases – they don’t care. Anyway, they take the dollar and give back $.25 to the people who paid for their campaigns. Then they pass out $.40 to pay for entitlements and social programs which are mostly used on consumables with little payback. About $.20 goes to DoD and a nickel disappears somwhere in washington bars, alleys and pockets. Next they pass the left-overs through up to eight administraters which costs about $.01 per hand. That leaves about $.02 to return to the states for necessary programs.
Knowing nobody is going to like so little being spent on needful projects they borrow about $.15 in order to be able to argue about how to spend it and look busy – $.05 of this too disappears in Washington bars, alleys and pockets. (Lately, The Fed has taken to just printing money while charging the government for printing. But, no one knows how much).
So, there’s lots of money getting out to many different hands and ending up being spent – by somebody – somewhere. It isn’t a problem of money being in somebody’s hand in the “public shpere”. Is it???
Or, is it? Where’d it all go? Bush with TARP? Obama with all his spending should have resulted in a huge economic jump…it didn’t.
Why not? Bankers can’t have it all.
kWhy weren’t there records kept about where it went? Who’s accountable for it?
And YOU want more and BIGGER government? What a sucker.

      • Alex Frazier

Ronbo, that’s the most intelligent argument I’ve seen in a long time, albeit not ENTIRELY correct.

First and foremost, money isn’t wealth. Money is a medium of exchange, and hoarding it doesn’t make you wealthy.

If you take the idea of three men, each with a product to offer, one with an apple, one with an orange, and one with a lemon, then we have the means for trade. The apple man visits the orange man and offers to barter. The orange man is happy to give his orange, but he doesn’t really want an apple, so the apple man gives him a token that represents the value of one apple. The orange man then takes the token given to him and visits the man with the lemon, and he uses the token with the value of one apple to trade for the lemon. The lemon man, in turn, takes the token and trades it to the apple man for the original apple, or apple value, traded for the orange.

In the terms of a barter, money isn’t necessary. A negotiation could have been reached instead. The apple man could have said to the orange man, “well, if you would prefer a lemon, give me the orange now. I will trade my apple to the man with the lemon and return the lemon to you when I conclude that transaction.”
What the money does, in reality, is facilitate a barter that is complicated by distance, time, incompatibility of wants, etc. But it isn’t NECESSARY. It’s just a convenience. And if you take away all the lemons, oranges, and apples, the token wouldn’t be worth anything at all. If the apple and orange guy were unwilling to accept the token, then to the lemon guy, the token isn’t worth anything at all. If the guy who got the token finds a way to reproduce the token multiple times over, their cumulative worth can never exceed that of the products available.

The real wealth is the apple, the orange, and the lemon. Money is nothing. It just facilitates complicated barters.

This, of course, is a very finite example to explain the principle. However, the principle remains unchanged even when you add in inflation, larger quantities of money, hundreds of products, loans, interest, etc. It’s just more difficult to follow the path the money takes.

Second, it is a fact that the Great Depression was put to an end by a federal budget cut of 60% and a tax cut of 30%.

Third, it is not the hoarding of money that is causing our recession. We do not have a depression as of yet. In a depression, the price of everything falls. Prices, in other words, are “depressed.” Businesses make less on what they sell, are forced to lay people off, and eventually close their doors when their revenue can’t meet their obligations. Depressions result from easy credit and suppressed interest rates. The bubble caused by these factors inflates everything beyond their reasonable scope, and when the bubble bursts, things like the depression are the result as prices, wages, etc. try to correct themselves.

Our Great Depression was the result of loose monetary policy, much like the housing bubble in our own day. People were investing in the stock market. Loans were easy, so they used borrowed funds. They traded on margin, meaning that they didn’t buy stocks 100%, but put down a minimum amount, or percentage, of the stock’s value at the time they purchased it. This is the margin.
When the Federal Reserve, for reasons that vary by opinion, raised interest rates, borrowing stopped. There was a dip in the market. The dip triggered a panic and the dip got worse. It stabilized for about a month or so while those heavily invested tried to straighten out the mess. Then the margin requirements were raised. Between the loss in value and the increased margin requirements, many investors were forced to sell their holdings in order to cover loses. The liquidation made the dip worse. Then the panic set in fully, there was a mass sell off as people tried to preserve SOMETHING in the midst of the downswing.

The result of it all was the crash of ’29.

With people in a situation where they had less money available, and with industry outshadowing agriculture (making money necessary to acquire products and services since they had only labor to trade, and not products), people saved what they could. They bought the best deals they could find. Businesses couldn’t sell their wares. Prices started to drop. People still weren’t spending, because they didn’t have much to spend in the first place. Prices dropped some more. Businesses couldn’t make payroll because they weren’t bringing in the revenue, so people lost their jobs. The spending, as a result, dropped still more. Prices were lowered again. Businesses started going out of business. And so on the story goes.

So a depression isn’t caused by the investors hoarding their money or by a lack of government spending. Depressions are caused by a lack of consumer captial, caused by the low and middle class being robbed of the value and remuneration of their earnings through inflation, government intervention, and bad monetary policies.

That’s why they keep up with the stimulus packages and quantitative easing. They are trying to keep the money machine alive. They are trying to put money into the hands of the people, since it would seem that a lack of consumer spending is the problem. But all it’s doing is causing sticky wages and sticky prices, and it’s doing it at the expense of the tax payers who have to fund these programs in the first place. Therefore, it is doing the exact opposite of what is needed. To fix this recession, it is unfortunately necessary that we first have a depression in order to allow the market to naturally correct the inflation and bring products, services, and capital back into near equilibrium.

The average citizen needs more of his real earnings in his pocket to spend in his local economy at a fair, free, and market determined price. Instead, the government is printing money, which makes what little he has worth less. This translates into fewer products purchased at higher prices and more saving “for a rainy day,” since we can’t be careless with what little we have, and we know it will only go so far. The government is also trying like crazy to raise taxes to cover all the new programs, which is just a transfer of funds from one man to another. These taxes likewise reduce his earnings, resulting in lesser spending.

In short, they are doing exactly what they did in the 30s and 40s, and it isn’t going to work now any more than it did then.

So don’t blame the 1/10th of the 1% of the 1%. The problem is that we aren’t getting fair compensation for our labor relative to the cost of goods in the market place, which are inflated because of government monetary policy and interference. Our spending has been restricted by our own selves because we all see how dear things are beginning to cost, and because none of us is sure what’s coming next.

Similarly, don’t blame the proposed measures by some members of congress to restrict government spending. Governments don’t have money. They only have what they borrow, or what they take from us. And their spending just exacerbates the problem.

This topic is very complicated. Your answer isn’t far off, but there’s much more to it than what you’ve said. And government spending has nothing to do with the solution.

      • granny mae

        Ronbo,
Rethink your ideas please. You can’t spend your way into prosparity the same way you can’t borrow your way out of debt. Obama is doing his best to borrow us into a hole we can never get out of. Having owned a business before I can tell you this, if you don’t make a profit, you cannot expand your business, which inturn creats jobs, which in turn brings in more money so you can expand your business so you can hire more employees. You must be able to sell your product or service, to make a profit, to expand to hire more and it just goes on from there. If in the meantime you make enough to put some money in the bank to save for what you want so be it. The business owner does not have to share everything he makes with all of his employees. He pays them for their work but when it comes to the business, it is the business owner that takes all the chances and all the risks, so if he gets rich over the years why should you or anyone else condem him? You go out and start a business and you take al the chances and you get rich over time and I will guarentee that you will see things differently. If you can’t find a job right now perhapes it is time for you to look to a different venue and get some training in something else, instead of blaming everything on the rich. Our situation in this country is a lot more complexed than that !

Couldn’t this country be getting punished by God due to the ways our country has been backsliding? Couldn’t Obama bin Laden be a curse on our country from God to get us to wake up and get back to the Christian values and founding we were based on? Couldn’t this also be a wake up call for us to get back to God and accept Jesus as our personal savior? Neeeeed to get your facts straight before you post. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

As you well know you are not alone. I am far from rich but we get by.

      • usmadgirl

        JJR & Granny Mae,

I don’t know ANY rich Republicans. Some of my relatives were “comfortable” because of their education & decent choices they made but most struggled like I do. I get sick of hearing about the rich Republicans in Congress when there are more wealthy Dumbocraps! Also, Republicans are more charitable than the Dumbocraps.

Tinwarble (who used to post on this site but got tired of beating dead “donkeys”) & I have NEVER made TOGETHER as much as the average income for ONE PERSON & we work 12-20 hours per day at least 6 days per week. That’s because in my business, there is only so much we can do in one day & we are paid a specific amount per order regardless of how long it takes to complete & we have a 24-48 hour deadline to do our work for several large companies. Since our business depends on the real estate market, it has always been like a roller coaster…feast or famine & our field is so competitive that we can’t raise our fees. If we do, our customers will just find another sucker who’s trying to survive!

EVERYTHING except our fees is increasing. Everything we buy, all of our office supplies, business services & expenses, land line for our fax, our food, gas, utilities etc. has doubled since O’Dumbo took office; so we’re spending twice as much on less income because our business has decreased. Some of our customers have closed & some idiots have outsourced their business to India & Pakistan! Don’t even get me started on that can of worms…thank you, Bank of America! So JJR, we’re right there with you!

God Bless You & God Bless This Country!

      • Elizabeth

Ronbo, I’m just a poor old Grandma but I understand what is meant by decreased spending. That would be decreased GOVERNMENT spending. We have far too many agencies creating far too many restrictions on people who make jobs! Do you know a little girl had to give up her lemonaide stand because she didn’t have a permit? Do you know people can’t sell vegetables from their garden unless they pay the government for inspection and permits? I could go on and on. Freedom used to mean that I was free to buy lemonaide from the neighbor kid and vegetables from my neighbor—I choose to take the chance that they might poison me or whatever. Half of the departments in D.C. could disappear and look out—-PEOPLE could invest their money, create jobs and pay people to work.

History and Knowlege? You mean like the way the Soviet Union and it’s Government driven command economy collapsed? Obviously you don’t get that Government spending is the source of our problems…not the cure.
Government doesn’t have anything to spend that it didn’t STEAL in the first place. Here again we have an ideologically driven…moron.

      • Mike in MI

        Right, JC -
Russia and its Eastern Bloc empire imploded even though we were pouring $Millions and Millions (back when a million was worth a $BILLION) into the whole blood sucking enterprise. One of the most powerful things President Reagan did was just turn off our charity spigot. Then the socialist system swallowed its own tongue and choked on itself – just like Obama is choking this economy.
Of course, isn’t it interesting how quickly their system came to life when the freeloading, fleabagging Communist utopian paradise ate itself up from within. But, Rambeaux never was allowed to learn any of that in the intellectual desert where he was taught.

      • JC

Mike these guys are driven by emotion and an ideology that they are just plain too stupid to accurately explain and have no concept of the consequences of their own stupidity. A pathetic and sad group of morons really.

      • Mike in MI

        Hey JC -
Thanks for the toot back. I’ve been thinkng about your response here. You talked about hem not being able to explain their ideology very well.
I have finally come to the conclusion that it is impossible to explain or elucidate a lie. You can use facts to refer to what you’e talking about and they seem to bolster one’s position, often. But, in fact most of their liberal “thinking” is like Eric Holder’s answers to Congress’ hearings last week re “Fast and Furious”.
There was a central lie which he attempted to cover over with half truths and some facts.
Ronbo is like that and other libs on this site. Their central thesis is a lie. But they construct a scaffold of facts and a facade of hopes, illegitimate social paradigms and assumptions around it thinking to conceal what’s at the heart. Principles, hard living-lessons and the wisdom of the ages they’ll have no truck with.
Well, I guess one can get away with that in academe’, working for government or doing anything where real accountability, meeting goals, resourcefulness and experimental successes are not tracked.

        Have a good week.

      • JC

That’s a pretty good analogy Mike.

    • Alex

You are correct for the most part, Erika, but it was more than a “report” in which the Rethuglicans pledged that, rather than help suffering American families, they would allow things to so deteriorate that President Barack Hussein Obama would be booted after a single term.

Senate leader and Geriatric Mutant Ninja Turtle Mitch McConnell was perhaps most vociferous of the Fright Wingers in stating his sole goal was to limit Obama to one term, the public be damned. Eric Cantor, John Boner, Michelle Bachman, prominent amongst the crowd have all made clear that they would rather watch the country collapse so that they could appeal to the hurting voters in 2012.

HAA!! Talk about egg on your face! After three years of absolute non-cooperation—something NO OTHER President has EVER faced—the dumb GOP is back-peddling frantically. They allowed things to gett TOO BAD, and now Obama, as poor of a first term as he has turned in, has his numbers heading up, while the Klown Kar that is the GOP roster continues to make their own people cringe while providing the rest of us, the intelligent and the reasonable, with belly laughs!

      • Realist

Alex! You are partially correct about the Republicans letting things go too far. Do you recall when President took office, he has a super-majority in both the house and the senate. During those TWO YEARS
his administration and the democratically controlled congress and Senate did nothing to fulfill his campaign promises. So far, gays in the military and a small token scale-down in Iraq. That, along with a recklessly laid out universal health care plan really sucks for a record of a president who claims to care for the country. Your defense of this Illegally elected tyrant did nothing to improve conditions that the Zionists continue to do to kill our sovereignty and our liberty. Money Bomb time! If you want to improve conditions in this country, get behind the money bomb! ‘Nuff said!

Wrong answer Ashley. This country was founded on Judeo-Christian principles, Biblical law taken directly from the Old and New Testiments, our laws based on the 10 Commandments (If you don’t know that one, then you know nothing about our founding.), and a deep, rich belief in nature and nature’s God.

“It is impossible to rightly govern without God and the Bible.”

Believing with you that religion is a matter which lies solely between man and his God, that he owes account to none other for his faith or his worship, that the legislative powers of government reach actions only, and not opinions, I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should ‘make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof,’ thus building a wall of separation between church and State.
-Thomas Jefferson, letter to Danbury Baptist Association, CT., Jan. 1, 1802
Although Jefferson believed in a Creator, his concept was more of the God of Deism,Nature’s God.He rejected the superstitions and mysticisms of Christianity and even edited the Gospels leaving only what he believed was the correct moral philosphy of Jesus.Christians see God on things as if this was some proof of their Christianity but its not. They seem to completely forget that God can have many definitions ranging from nature to supernatural. As a matter of fact the quote on his memorial in DC that has God in it is actually aimed at attacking the tyranny of the Christian Clergy of Philadelphia.

      • Ashley

BTW I don’t know why you keep quoting me the same thing…I haven’t judged anyone….If you’ve read the few comments I’ve posted I haven’t judged, name called, brought anyone down nothing….I’ve just stated my observations….which in my opinion, is how you should behave as an adult.

Ashley, you are still wrong! Show me anywhere in the Constitution that says separation of church and state. It isn’t there. Bzzzzz you lose on that one. Second, don’t forget this one:

“In the presence of the most Holy, undivided Trinity…”

        Treaty of Paris 1783

This shows that our country believes in God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Or how about this one:

“The United States in Congress assembled…recommend this edition of the Bible to the inhabitants of the United States…a neat edition of the Holy Scriptures for the use of schools.”

        United States Congress 1782

        Or how about this one:

“The highest glory of the American Revolution was this: it connected, in one indissoluble bond, the principles of civil government with the principles of Christianity.”

        John Adams

Or how about this last one:

“Our laws and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of The Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian…This is a Christian nation.”

U.S. Supreme Court decision of the Church of the Holy Trinity vs. United States, 1892.

How about on the Washington Monument?

        “Holiness to the Lord.”
        Exodus 28:26, 30:30, Isaiah 23:18, Zachariah 14:20

        “Search the Scriptures.”
        John 5:39

“The memory of the just is blessed.”
        Proverbs 10:7

“May Heaven to this Union continue its beneficence.”

        “In God We Trust.”

“Praise be to God.” (Engraved on the monument’s capstone in Latin as “Laus Deo.”)

All of these are on the Washington Monument. I guess your arguement falls flat on its face. You say freedom of religion. What they wanted was a nation that you can freely worship God in any way the people saw fit. Neeeeed to get your facts straight before you post. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Ashley

In God We Trust wasn’t put on anything until 1954…In the Constitution it says:Amendment 1 – Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression. Ratified 12/15/1791. Note

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Are you saying that the above amendment is not saying there should be no seperation?
When the Constitution was submitted to the American public, “many pious people” complained that the document had slighted God, for it contained “no recognition of his mercies to us . . . or even of his existence.” The Constitution was reticent about religion for two reasons: first, many delegates were committed federalists, who believed that the power to legislate on religion, if it existed at all, lay within the domain of the state, not the national, governments; second, the delegates believed that it would be a tactical mistake to introduce such a politically controversial issue as religion into the Constitution. The only “religious clause” in the document–the proscription of religious tests as qualifications for federal office in Article Six–was intended to defuse controversy by disarming potential critics who might claim religious discrimination in eligibility for public office.
“As I understand the Christian religion, it was, and is, a revelation. But how has it happened that millions of fables, tales, legends, have been blended with both Jewish and Christian revelation that have made them the most bloody religion that ever existed?”
        – John Adams, letter to FA Van der Kamp, December 27, 1816

      • Angel Wannabe

Ashley your words”Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; ”

Do you actually understand what that phrase means?__What it means that America doesn’t SUPPORT OR have a STATE CHURCH SUCH AS ENGLAND DOES. That’s what wrong with this Country today, perception!!! and the ability to read and to interpet the Constitution properly.

And just for the record there is NO LAW SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE IN THE CONSTITUTION

        FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Aunt Jane

WHO is crashing the economy so that he can “fundamentally transform America?” There is some new kind of mental illness that causes some kind of delusional thinking among progressives!!! Good Grief!

      • msbets

you are correct aunt jane…………and this is the kind of scum this *%^$^%% so and so in our oval office is behind!!!nothing but drug induced, rapist mindless pithetic devious cretins.

    • Evermyrtle

We don’t have to look for reasons to blame Obam, there are hundreds of reasons just staring us in the face. We sincerely wish there was nothing to blame him with. We only only want a Christian, America loving president, that is all we ask for.The rest would follow naturally.

      • Alex

Christians are as horrible as the next…..
They’re nothing special just buy being Christian.
Christians, like every other group, are made up of saints and sinners, wonderful doctors and deplorable murderers, bankers, drug addicts, pedophiles, and nurses. Well, if you count catholics in with Christians the pedophile count goes up, huh?
God holds no special place for Christians, but loves truly anyone of any faith or of no faith at all.

      • jerry sweet

so called christians have blown off they’re own feet, but a true follower and deciple of JESUS CHRIST does not act the way so-called christians do.as for God just loves everybody no matter what faith,if i remember my bible CHRIST hung on that cross so filthy people like me and you could be saved from a fiery eternal damnation.but it seems by your own words thats the place you will reside in.oh by the way all the pedophiles, murderers.rapists, lying presidents will be sent there.you will not be alone.repent Jesus is coming back and YOU will bow before him!!

      • Mike in MI

        Alex – You’re right!
God does love every one, no matter what faith or what they believe and live. You can look around you and see how well everybody believing and doing whatever they want works out. It is predictable that sooner or later man’s selfish nature and most of them doing ??.. whatever..??? would get pretty ugly – especially with a few billion all vying for the same things. Unless they do things His way it is impossible for it to not become a mess.
So, He gave us a set of instructions which says, “Here, if you want to do things right and workably with my help do these things.” Most people say, “No way. Those stupid rules don’t fit my style; I don’t see why I should be subject to what you – or anybody else – wants. So, shove it. You have no right to boss me or judge me… even if you are God.”
So, God figured, “OK. I’ll just keep records. When it all gets to world-wide chaos and they’re going to ruin MY world I’ll just hold court on everybody who has ever lived. Those who have proved they want to do it MY Way I’ll let stay around forever. Those who don’t… well, I gave ‘em a chance. They don’t want to do things the way it has to be for everything to go well for everybody. So, they’re outa’ here. Either they believe MY Word by doing it to the level My son did or at LEAST believe I raised him from the dead and let him be their supervisor/boss. If not, forget them.”
He loves them enough to give them a chance – even though they maybe don’t deserve it. But, this mess can’t continue forever.

      • granny mae

        Mike in MI.

        Amen !

      • Evermyrtle

alex, as is the norm, Real Christians are getting the blame for every dirty deed that is done by people who call themselves Christian, those who really do not know what it take to make Christian. People who believe that CHRIST was a real person calls themselves Christian. But maybe you did not know that Satan could call himself Christian, too if that was the only requirement. Satan knows very well who CHRIST IS. Therefore we may relate Christians who are doing evil things with Satan, not CHRIST. True Christians will never deliberately do anything to dishonor JESUS CHRIST, such as in lying, stealing, harming anybody else in any way, we would never do anything to harm our country. We believe in first of all, proclaiming JESUS CHRIST AS THE SON OF GOD AND STRIVE TO LIVE AS WE KNOW HE WOULD HAVE US TO LIVE.

      • http://naver samurai

He does love them and Jesus loves them, but a non-Christian wil be told we love you, but then you will be thrown into the firey furnace. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

    • Jurgy

THANK GOD the Republicans ARE resisting anything Obama and that it is their main mission to defeat Obama at any cost! This is the best thing they can do for America and the economy. Obama is inexperienced and incompetent. He used any means possible to get elected – the Republicans will use any means possible to force him out.

      • eddie47d

The Republicans don’t have much of a reputation anymore to gloat about. With a sickening low approval rating in Congress (yes lower than Democrats). Are you sure you want to use “any means” to further erode the mess you got us into? How about a novel idea of doing what is right to get America back on it’s feet instead of this continuous dog and pony show? If you can’t take responsibility for your share of the problems how can the public differentiate between the Republican Party and the Democrat Party?

      • Mike in MI

        eddie47d – “…how can they differentiate between…”
For the most part they can’t differentiate. Most of the Repubs and Dems went to the same brain rotting university systems as the members of the other party. So, one skull is all stuffed with the same sort of sludge as the other. They live in an environment advertizing hundreds of sludge signals per hour which few of them ever recieved any sort of countervailing, interlocking, coherent standards to countermand.
Ergo, their minds are constantly filled with the sort of low ideals and philosophies which are ultimately represented by the demands and behaviors evident in the “Occupy …” low-lifes.
If you agree with those demands, etc. there isn’t much separating you from the “Occupiers” and all they reveal about what the left looks like in its “human” products.
Obama’s present haunts would be the same, except servants sanitize what he defiles.

    • Harry S.

Erika, you;ve been brainwashed by Obama, the Dems, and the liberal/commie press. Wake up before it’s too late.

    • JC

      Erika says:
      November 12, 2011 at 7:56 am
Both of you sound like idiots with your heads in the sand! You will choose any chance to blame Obama for what’s going on in the world today. It’s the crybaby republicans who don’t want to work with him and help get this economy back where it belongs.

      Back where it belongs? What?
You mean back to communism? Because that’s where the Kenyan Imposter is trying to take us.
Little history lesson for you…this country has shed a lot of blood to fight communism and it looks like we may have to do it again…soon.

    • MilitaryPatriot

Erika, spoken like a true Marxist, cool-aid drinking Obama momma, brained washed dumb masses. I am 62 year old female, Vietnam Vet, who has seen Communism, and Marxist verbal flap up close for years; from the Bushes down to the current Anti-Christ in the white wood shed. My suggestion to you, my dear. Grow up, pack your bags & pick one of the following commie countries: Russia, China, Cuba, N.Korea, any one of the Middle Eastern countries (Muslim men would like you, because they like to control their woman’s thinking, just like BO.)Call me and I will drive you to the airport and be sure to leave your U.S citizenship at the boarding gate. Be sure to write home, and let us know how your rose colored, hippie life is coming along. And no you can’t take your cell phone or mommies credit card to live on.

      • eddie47d

You’re all too negative to deserve Ronald Reagan’s shining city on the hill. Remember that Communism hasn’t been accepted in America for several generations. Only a few even toy with the idea and they are difficult to find. We have some on this site who make a false attempt to accuse 80 members of Congress of being Red. That in its self makes those folks who say so delusional and desperate in a search for enemies. So why do some of you keep pulling that unproven slander out of your bag of tricks? You all sound like a bunch of old John Birchers looking for a second coming of fear mongering.Communism was indeed a serious issue back in the 50′s and now it is barely on life support. Instead of fixing what is wrong with Capitalism and making it stronger(your doing a lousy job of it). You parade the commie card around like it has relevancy and somehow that will fix our present problems. You use this duck and cover routine because if you really had solutions they would be at the forefront. You wouldn’t be using all these false flag attacks(excuses)if that wasn’t true.

      • JC

You’re not a very good propogandist eddie…back to Alinsky school for you.

      • eddie47d

At least I exposed your “duck and cover” routine and you play it well on occasion along with a few others. Bring forth your positive ideas or the commie name calling will get you no where and you will come across as the kooks.

      • JC

More Alinsky crap and still not very good at it.

Government doesn’t produce any thing they only take from those of us who work and give to those who do not. Private businesses and corporation are the one who produce job. They are being strangled by over regulation and government interference. More spending by the government will never move this country out of this depression, only less government. Our children and grandchildren will be saddled with this Government debt. Sorry you were brain washed by the dumb down of our educational system and the liberal press.

      • eddie47d

I fail to see where the Conservative press is doing much good either Cheryl. They only say what Republicans want to hear and leave out the whole truth. That also have a dizzy array of spin masters telling you what is right (at least accordingly to them).

      • Lee

Hey eddie and everyone else, news flash, the main stream media lies to everybody, you included. Almost all politicians are professional deceivers, they have violated their Constitutional oath and deserve to die a traitors death, they are unworthy of the urine expended if they were on fire, that goes double for the Kenyan pretender in chief!!!

The problem is government in general, not this side or that side but the whole rotten decaying thing. Untill everyone gets over this party driven, conservative or progessive, Dem or Repub, commie traitor BS, my side is better lunacy, there will never be an end, you are all puppets and are being played for a fool and by allowing yourself to be labeled, even clinging to and identifying with said label, you are participating in your own foolishness and ignorance therby assisting in the destruction of this once great nation.

As for the political crowd, there are only two sides to that coin, either you are an inside the beltway, District of Criminals traitor or you are a Constitution respecting true American. There is no longer room for in between party driven BS. It’s all or nothin, life or death for the USA.

    • mike wilson

ERIKA, ERIKA OF COURSE YOU CAN SEE NO FAULT WITH THE CHOOSEN ONE. HE IS THE MESSIAH. I LOVE HIM ALSO. I WOULD RE-ELECT HIM OVER AND OVER AGAIN. BUT THE ONLY WAY WE CAN DO THIS IS ELECT HIM FOR LIVE. LIKE BROTHER FIDEL.
BUT HE IS TO GOOD FOR AMERICA!!!1 ONCE THE ONE WORLD REGIME IS ESTABLISHED WE WILL ELECT HIM AS DICTATOR OF THE WORLD.
THEN THE MAHDI WILL COME AND EXTERMINATE ALL THE COCK ROACHES.

    • chris

Erika, Why don’t you learn from them how to become rich yourself, instead of expecting the government to re-distribute MY money to people like you, who want to complain about how rich other people are! Waaaa, Waaa, Waaa! that’s all I hear from you!

    • Aunt Jane

You are right about not wanting this man in office! And if you think Obama, the Democrats and the Flea Party care about you then you are seriously delusional!

    • Zack

Erika you are a poster child for the current crop of “gimme, gimmie, gimmie” fleabagging throwback’s of the 60′s and 70′s Marxist hippies. You have no respect for the U.S., it’s laws, nor yourself. A pox upon you and your kind. God bless the United States of America and the principles upon which she was founded.

    • Frank Suszka

Let’s make that three idiots. I don’t want Obama in office either. He has done nothing with his failed economic plans and the fact that Michelle has spent our tax dollars of trips and such is outrageous. We are told to stay home. Don’t go on vacation. Eat our peas and buy a new car which we can’t afford all the while these two spend that money. I’m sorry. I support the office of the president but I don’t support the person occupying that office. He is doing everything he can to destroy this country. He made a statement that this was the greatest country in the world and wanted the American people to help him change it. I’m sorry, what is the old saying? If it ain’t broke don’t fix it? He promised the American people change but never said what that change would be and the blind leading the blind voted him into office. This is the change you support? We suffer with higher prices and an economy that puts most people on the brink of poverty. It doesn’t matter what political party you belong to or support. We are all in the same boat. Sinking.

My suggestion to you would be remove the blinders and see exactly what is going on. Set aside your political views and see what our country has become. The laughing stock of the world. How can we be proud of a president that apologizes, bows and destroys? We can’t. Wake up. Like my Father used to say, It’s latter than you think.

    • Dale on the left coast

Erika . . . living proof you Can’t Fix Stooopid!!!

    • Erik

I agree. We must be pro-active. Let’s start by removing the incompetent Obummer from office. That dimwit will destroy this country through his communist policies.

    • CJM

Yes, I do blame your messiah, after all, HE said he would “change” America. That do-nothing lout in the Oval Office has NO BUSINESS BEING THERE. And yes we do realize that not all republicans are the best of the lot, but at least they have been trying ever since that piece of garbage was put into the WH. His accomplishments? Nothing, period. He needs to be IMPEACHED and the sooner the better.

    • Sirian

      Erika,
LOL!! You are the true epitome of ignorance with a total lack of common sense. And we want people like you to tell us what is best. . . LOL!!!

    • Duffy1949

      Erika,
How dare you damn all Americans. You are in the same court as prez Obummer when he courted Pastor (?) Wright. If you are not happy here, please move to another country where you don’t have free will.
You, Erik (the atheist) and all the other Dummers should get on with your lives perhaps in Venezuela Or with the Cartels in Mexico.
God Bless America and for those who believe in our Great Country.

      • http://naver samurai

He is also a liar, marxist, muslim, bilderberg, and is so far up Soros’ backside that for him to lead and be rational is a vertual impossibility. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

Where are the parents of these juveniles? It would be interesting to do a study on the habits and behaviors of the parents of these baggers. Are they simply a product of our school system then, absent parents, no morals, wards of the state? Is this what the next generation is made up of? Give them all free tickets to go on a foreign exchange program and then don’t allow them back into the country. Hope that they end up in North Korea or Russia or Venezuela and get a real education of what Marxism ends up being.

    • Evermyrtle

Likely the parents of the majority of these juveniles are juvenile parents. Such a disaster, but so many parents are too glad that children are somewhere besides “under their feet.”

    • Stanley

GREAT IDEA…It has to be the parents FAULT. Any kids that had been brought up in a decent home with any kind of morals wouldn’t be stooping this low..Plus maybe the should arrest the parents of these flea baggers for child abuse…GREAT IDEA. That way at least the children could have the house to live in until the parents got out of prison for child abuse and then they would have a hard time evicting the children, could take months even years to evict them…Flea baggers have your parents arrested for child abuse..Move back in the house when they go to jail. Hopefully they taught you to take a bath once a year wheather you need it or not.

    • MilitaryPatriot

The five years old (BOs’ brats) are the by-products of the old hippie generation Research the 60s & 70s and your will find a carbon copy of the same old mind set. Grew up in the 60s & 70s (mid-teens to early twenties) couldn’t stand them back than and can’t stand them now. They just keep living their lives in the past like a broken record.

      • ALL AMERICAN

Very true… I remember growing up in the 70s. Where is direction? Where is punishment that would have brought these brain dead people up better. You see, they had no direction. They were never punished, only told it was okay.
Myself??? I am blessed to have parents that beleived in moral direction and punishment for not following the right path. I received many a paddling when growing up, but I deserved it every time. I am a better person for it now.
Some moral direction and punishment is on its way for the fleakeepers.

Yes, old hippies from the 60s and 70s.

    • CJM

Most of the parents raised them better and would be embarrassed to find out their child was at these ‘conferences’ instead of the college they paid for. Quit blaming the parents for their adult children’s poor decisions…as a parent, I can’t police my children once they leave home, whether it’s school or on their own entirely, and you can’t either.

    • kemp

IF obozo gets another 4yrs we will ALL learn first hand what it’s all about. We will all be in the same boat.

    • Evermyrtle

Sean, you are correct, soap and water on the body, especially on the hands, with a little scrubbing, several times a day will prevent many, many diseases. Clean dishes, bedding, clothes, living space adds to this protection.

      • Linda

I think soap and water in the mouths of some of the “fleabaggers” would be a good thing too.

      • Palin16

Time to call out the National Guard and tear gas these vermin. I’ve been to two Tea Party gatherings, and none of the killings, rapes, heroin dealings, and destruction of property like the occupiers have committed took place. And yet, Pigosi calls these slime true American heroes.

If you have ever been through downtown Atlanta on the interstate, you probably seen many of the fleabaggers with their tents and sleeping bags, living under the bridges. They have just moved into downtown for the chance of getting some food and money from Soros.

      • CJM

Jukebox: In all fairness, not all are those nasty OWS fleabaggers, some are homeless and you can’t blame them for their plight. Unfortunately, because of those selfish fleas, many of the homeless will go without food because the fleas will overwhelm the charitable soup lines. I’d rather take care of the homeless than any flea and I’m sure you would too.

      • Karolyn

Will you just listen to yourself? Is all this hatred coming from just listening to people like Ben Crystal? Why not try having a little more balance in your reading?

      • taliesin319

Recently in NYC the elitest OWS trust fund babys and other assorted whiners instructed their pro-
fessional chefs set up in a special tent to stop sharing food with the homeless. They are allowed to make weak hot cerial and give them that. Meanwhile Soros’s SS troops dine on organic veggies and free chicken.
Sounds like everybody except the poor folk are Napoleons straight out of Orwell’s Animal farm.

      • granny mae

Seems like we have so many opinions on the rights of protesters and who is protesting or what they are protesting and whether they have a right to protest I would like to say one thing. If each state and city would set a time length as to how long a group could demonstrate or protest and guidelines as to whether there could be camping out and who is going to be responsible for the cost of cleaning up that mess. There should be permits issued for protests and demonstrations with clear instructions as to what is permitted and what is not. For instance you cannot camp out over night, you cannot destroy public or private property etc. Who ever is responsible for the permit is responsible for the damages and clean up costs ! When you allow people to camp out where there is no sanitary facilities and in a weather climate condusive to desease you are asking for trouble. Then again if you are trying to overthrow a country you will allow all of this to happen and in fact encourage it to happen so as to bring unrest and instability to the country . The more desease there is the more people that stand to die from desease and the fewer people those causing the unrest will have to deal with opposition ! Sounds sick, and it is ! But that is the way people think that want to over throw countries ! First you convince people that they are discriminated against, whether it be in wage earnings, education, home ownership or what ever. You have to convince them that they have a right to anything better than they already have or they have a right to something they don’t have even if they don’t want it. Then you create unrest for government, because after all it is government’s fault. Then you encourage anyone and everyone to protest in their favorite way, voice and actions, destruction and violence ! Anything to get arrested and make a sceen , then one day when it is all over with and it will be over with one day, you can use the resulting trouble, which by that time should and must be a major confrontation of and by the people on the street; who are despencible, so all can be seen on the news as see we told you so. All the time those who are actually responcible for everything are still hiding in the shadows. They will never get their hands visably dirty, and the rest of us sit back and wonder what the heck just happened ! It is time to clean up all the protesters and clean the cities up and fumigate everything.

      • Dennis48e

Yeah, the 60s and 70s, best time of my life!

      • CJM

Really? We thought the hippies were a filthy odd lot. Spouse used to say–”and to think, these will someday join the establishment and ruin our government.” Well—they did and they have.

      • Sirian

CJM you hit the nail right square on the head. That’s what’s so disturbing about this fiasco of “useful idiots”.

      • http://naver samurai

Well Sirian you got one point right about Karolyn, idiot, but not useful. Next thing you know, she’ll get up behind her podium and start Christian and God bashing for this problem. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Karolyn

samurai – Just like you to jump in a lie. I never bash God, and I just call it like I see it about the ungodly ways of many Christians. I also just voice my spiritual views but do not bash Christianity. Just listen to yourself. I know you have never heard me call anyone a name. That is something I do not stoop to.

      • JC

Well Karolyn I guees in all fairness you might want to balance out your comment by telling us what you know about all the good things that are done by Christian church organizations. You might start with bake sales to benefit the poor, or bottle drives to buy uniforms for scout troops , or passing the plate to help provide people in third word countries with potable water and medicines, or emergency relief for people caught in disasters…but you being an observer of Christian related activities can, I’m sure come up with many many more examples. :)

      • Karolyn

JC – Of course churches do good work. What does that have to do with anything I’ve said?

      • Christin

Karolyn, our 60′s girl… YOU LIE.

I have been a victim of YOUR rude name calling AND You have bashed Christianity PLENTY of times.

      • JC

You’re right Karolyn, re-reading it my comment doesn’t connect with anything you’ve said here. I have seen you go after the Christian community a time or two for their apparent deviations from their own faith. That just makes them human like everybody else.

You don’t lie Karolyn? Ha, ha, ha, ha! That was funny. You mean the part about you saying that the Bible is just a bunch of myths and not true? That’s a big lie right there. Though I do agree with you about some “Christians”, but we know they are CINOs and nor real Christians. Neeeeed to get your facts straight before you post. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

“It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey his will, to be grateful for His benefits, and humbly to implore His protection and favor.”

        George Washington

      • Karolyn

Christin – I have NEVER called anyone a name on this site. Well, maybe once or twice I might have called someone a jerk because the said something offensive. As far as Christian bashing – nope! I may argue points but do not bash Christians. I only speak of their hypocrisy. I was one for a long time and do undeerstand. Most of the people I come into contact with on a daily basis are Christians – I live in the Bible Belt; and MOST of them are pretty good people. I just do not agree with the standard translation and interpretation of the Bible, especially some people’s interpretations, like woman should be subservient to man – That results in crimes against women in the long run.

      • http://naver samurai

That’s the wife being submissive to her husband, so how does thia affect the crime rate? People who commit such crimes are not Christian, but anarchists. Neeeeed to get your facts straight before you post. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Karolyn

samurai – Did I not say certain interpretations of the Bible? It leads to the woman being subjugated and some men feeling that women are less than, leading to brutal treatment of women. And don’t bring the Muslims into this because we’re not talking about them. I am speaking of the general climate for women, which comes into being directly from the Bible, from it being a patriarchical society. Also from God being generally recognized as a man.

      • http://naver samurai

Need to get off of the kool aid Karolyn. If you also looked at the KJV, you would also see that not only does it say what I’ve posted, but also says that the man should love his wife and cherish her. I assume you have no problem with that? Put down the feminazi banner and learn what it really says before you post. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Karolyn

samurai – When you talk about crimes against women, this is my territory; it’s what I do for a living. The reason we live in a “rape culture” is because of the subjugation of women and it being a patriarchical society, starting with God, who is generally recognized as being a man. That is the starting point! In societies who have an “earth mother” god, women are more respected. I am not a feminazi but someone looking for answers and trying to help those less fortunate than me.

      • http://naver samurai

That’s kind of hard to believe, since women have equal protection under the law and the same rights as written in the Constitution. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

P.S. Rapists and other dregs of society are anarchists and only care about themselves and no one else. Get off the women’s lib platform.

“I had hoped that liberal and enlightened thought would have reconciled the Christians so that thier religious fights wouldn’t endanger the peace of society.” George Washington
PS; George Washington, our first president, was a self proclaimed Deist, NOT a christian.

      • http://naver samurai

You lie IH. First, care to cite a source to back up that lie? Second, if he was a diest, why would he say these:

“What students would learn in American schools above all is the religion of Jesus Christ.”

“It’s impossible to rightly govern without God and the Bible.”

It is the duty of all nations to acknowledge the providence of Almighty God, to obey His will, to be grateful for His benefits, and to humbly implore His protection and favor.”

“True religion affords to government it’s surest support.”

Also, why would he say in a prayer,

“Oh, eternernal and everlasting God, direct my thoughts, words, and work. Wash away my sind in the immaculate blood of the Lamb and purge my heart by Thy Holy Spirit. Daily, frame me more and more in the likeness of Thy son, Jesus Christ, that living in Thy fear, and dying in Thy favor, I may in Thy appointed time botain the resurrection of the justified unto eternal life. Bless, O Lord, the whole race of mankind and let the world be filled with the knowledge of Thee and Thy son, Jesus Christ.”

If he were a deist, he would not believe in the Holy Spirit nor Jesus as his son. He was an Episcipalian (sp) and not a deist. Another lie from some loser atheist (KANG). FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

Karolyn,… 60s & 70s, best time of your life?? no wonder your earlier post complained about others posting their thoughts regarding flea baggers. What about all the disease, hurt, sorrow that came from those times? Now we have rapes, theft, molestings, spread of disease both by multi-legged, as well as two legged bearers. Oh heavens yes truly a glorious time both then and now. GET REAL GIRL! These are serious, horrific times.

      • Karolyn

The times are whatever you focus on and see them to be. During the 60s and 70s, when I was in my teens and 20s, I was the most free ever in my whole life. We used to say “free, white and 21.” We enjoyed our lives and stood up for what we believed in. It was a time of getting “real,” honesty, and introspection. I can’t say that I would want to be 20 today. I am glad I was born when I was.

      • Tim

Yeah, 1967, the summer of love. I was in Vietnam. Great memories. I still have nightmares.

      • Ed

Roger that Tim. But Karolyn was “not looking” at that so it did not impact her psychy. Therefore it has no validity in her world. Long story short? Bad people do BAD things. As Scripture puts it…” By their fruits you shall know them…”. If you’re ignoring what’s going on in the world what does it say about the fruit you produce? Who does more for the abused…. the one who helps victims get over it? Or the ones who put their own lives on the line to STOP it? Someone is sadly lacking in perspective, courage, and common sense. I go.

You are right, Mike in MI.

The Occupy ‘fleabaggers’ need a change of heart… washed by the blood of Jesus. Getting saved would make productive citizens out of the bunch, instead of the lawless (anarchist), useless (to constitutional America), sick, filth that they have become.

        Top Down… Bottom Up… Inside Out… isn’t it great…

Yes, fairy tale messiahs are very important. Try praying to Batman or Darth Vader and see if the results aren’t the same.
        Silly children.

What proof and evidence can you provide that shows atheism to be accurate and correct? We were founded a Christian nation, so get over the lies, rhetoric, and innuendo. You are 100% correct Christin, no matter what these children of satan tell you. Keep up the good fight, fellow patriot. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Karolyn

samurai – What proof or evidence can you supply that proves that the Bible is accurate? Were you there? You go by faith. Well, I am not an atheist; however, my beliefs about God and spirituality are by faith also.

      • http://naver samurai

If you are not an atheist Karolyn, you sure like to stick up for them. Remember this also:

“Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion (Christianity) and morality are indispensible.”

        George Washington, Thanksgiving Proclamation 1789

Since Obama bin Laden, the OWS, and lib traitora and cowards don’t have these essencial elements, they will never lead this nation to prosperity. Only God and Jesus can do that. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Jimbo

Eric, If religions are all fairy tales then why are you liberals not bashing Islam and trashing the Koran? No balls? What will you do when confronted by a Christian soldier that has a “human” failing of not turning the other cheek?

      • Marty S.

Errorik, I think your mistaken. You can talk smack about Christianity but I would rather believe and live my life as if Christ is my Savior rather than not and find out on the other side what a grave bad call I made while living my human life. Listen to that little voice deep within your heart and may you find God’s blessing there.

      • Firefly

Erik, your statement reminds me of when the communists were very active in Central American and supported by Cuba they had everyone in the early elementary grades take part in an experiment. They closed their eyes and prayed to God for candy. They were then told to open their eyes and they discovered there was no candy. Then they were told to close their eyes again and pray for candy but this time to pray to the glorious leader (whoever it was I have long forgotten). They again opened their eyes and found nothing. “This is because prayer doesn’t work” they were told and “You have to work to get anything you want in life” the communists told the children but because you did what we asked you to do in our little experiment our leader has generously allowed us to give each of you a little bag of candy to help you remember this lesson.

Of course this “experiment” was from the pit of hell designed to crush the spirit of those whose faith was slight or non-existent. God most assuredly does answer pray but one has to believe in Him first and know Him and love Him and seek to do His will where possible. He doesn’t listen to unrepentant sinners (all are sinners and anyone who says he does not sin is a liar!). But Christians know if they slip up they can turn to God and ask for grace and forgiveness and He will forgive them. God always forgives sin to a truly repentant soul who wants to be forgiven but there is much to learn that you have no inkling about.

I know God answers prayer and one of the biggest he answered for me was in 1993 when the IOC was deciding on whether the Olympics for Y2K should be in Australia or China. I was bothered about this and began to pray. I did not feel that China deserved this honor so soon after killing 3,500 of their own citizens, mostly students, who were protesting for freedom (they claim it was only 350 but Soviet records indicate it was closer to ten times that many). I am of course, talking about the Tian’anmen Square Massacre of 1989. I did not know what was best but I felt that China was not ready for such a privilege. Consequently each day for some time I prayed to Our Heavenly Father, asking in Jesus name, that He work out what was truly best in that situation. I cannot even tell you why it bothered me so much but what bothers God often bothers those who love Him too. I prayed for several weeks and then forgot about it. Several months passed and then it was announced that Australia had been selected for the Y2K Olympics. I was very pleased at that decision although I had not prayed for it specifically, only that God would work His will on the situation. Suddenly in my spirit I heard the Lord say, “Your prayers did that!” I was amazed! My prayers alone? How, I wondered. Surely there must have been someone else on the whole planet that was praying about this. It was then that it was announced that the committee was evenly split between China and Australia and just one member of the IOC had trouble making up his mind (I knew nothing about this at the time I prayed). Finally he decided and it was for Australia. Apparently I WAS the only one praying about this.

Now I know it’s not a big deal and there are far more important things in the world than the Olympics but I was fascinated that a relatively insignificant person like myself could bring about something like this with my prayers.(In God’s eyes none of us are insignificant). I have on other occasions prayed prayers that God answered and they have always been amazing but as a non-believer you simply could not believe the things I could tell you I have experienced because you have not experienced them. You will have, however, a treat in store someday if you ever discover that God is real and the power of prayer. Our life here on earth is an insignificant span of time regardless of how many years it lasts and there is (apparently) much that we can only learn here. I hope you don’t squander your life like so many seeking useless toys that are so transitory. God loves you as much as He loves anyone but pride and arrogance build a wall that even He has a hard time bridging. Still, if you ever decide to seek out the answer to the questions, “Does God exist? Does He love me? How can I be assured of salvation? What does He want from me? What can He do for me? What can I do for Him?” you will discover that which will make all the difference in your life and your future. There is no friend you can have greater than God. I’m still discovering that but I’m so glad I’m on the path I know is best for me. May God bless you and all who read this.

      • Karolyn

Mayor – YOU CANNOT TAKE GOD OUT OF A COUNTRY! God or universal intelligence just IS! Just because the schools don’t teach the Bible, and other symbols and words have been removed doesn’t mean that God is not here! I’ve said this before: You cannot remove faith from a person. If you feel children are not as good because God is not referenced in schools, you are wrong. That responsibility is one the parents. I don’t care what is on TV, on the internet, taught in schools, etc. the parents are ultimately responsible for how their children turn out.

      • http://naver samurai

Sorry Karolyn, but if a nation’s people do not worship God, then he is not there. Like it says in the Bible, “If two or more gather together in my name, I’m there also.” Ergo, if no one worships, prays, reads the Bible, or believes in God, then his presence isn’t there either. He is not in the people. I think that is what mayor was trying to say. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

Christin, you are so right, if all the fleabaggers? were to get washed in the blood of JESUS CHRIST, that would end their lack of power to make sensible, good health, and Christian decisions.

I HAVE A DREAM: that everybody WHO wants to blame Christians with all the evil that is going on today, would read the Bible, discover what it is that makes a person, a Christian before they blame every vile deed on Christian. To call yourself a Christian does not make you a Christian anymore that calling yourself a tree makes you a tree. There are good sound GOD made rules that one has to live by to become a Christian. A true Christian DOES NOT BREAK GOD’S COMMANDMENTS. If you do not have a clue what these commandments are, you can find them in Exodus and Leviticus in the BIBLE. Read Matt 22:35-40, also

So you are ASSUMING none of them are Christians? I find that a little hard to believe, considering the cross-section of people who are involved, including veterans, who I thought all conservatives love without reservation. I guess I was wrong. I agree with you that the polls can be easily manipulated. You might have seen the HBO documentary about how easy it is to hack into the voting computers. The thing is though, the manufacurers of those machines are Republicans. Exit polls have always been, and still are in other countries, quite accurate until we started using computer voting and the inconsistanties have always favored the Republicans.

That may be true for some individuals but not for the huge majority of people. People need to be able to tell the difference between opinion and fact. I keep hearing that from the extreme right like yourself, but there is no evidence to back up the claim that Obama is taking away money from anybody to give to “people who don’t want to work for a living but want what you earned”. If you believe that please provide the evidence other than the fact the you have to pay your taxes. If you’re talking about wefare, don’t forget to include corporate welfare.

        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZcEHLr4gBg

That, my friends, is taking from one to give to another.

      • talkinbout

Re: Alex Frazier, You have misinterpreted what he said and you haven’t shown any evidence of where that is actually happening today.

What he was talking about is that since 1980 the economy has doubled in size, but adjusting for inflation, most people’s wages have barely increased dispite the fact that Americans are working harder, longer and more efficiently than ever before. Where did that money go? Almost all the gains have gone to the super rich. The top 1% used to take home about 10% of total income. Now, it takes home more than 20% and the super rich now have about 40% of the nations wealth. All that money at the top has given the super rich lots of political power, especially power to lower their tax rates. Most of their income is capital gains, subject to only a 15% tax. According to the IRS the richest 400 Americans pay only 17%. This means huge budget deficits. Tax revenues are down to less than 15% of the total economy, the lowest in 60 years. So, public services are being cut at all levels of government. Our kids are being crowded into classrooms with more and more other children. Roads, bridges, levies, health care, safety nets are all being sacrificed. Instead of joining together for better wages and jobs, many people are so scared that they’re competing with other working people for the scraps that are left behind. So, we get union verses non-union, public employee verses private, native born verses immigrants. The vast middle class, unable to borrow as before no longer has the purchasing power needed to get the economy growing again, which means continued high unemployment and an anemic recovery. The only way we can have a strong economy is with a strong middle class.

      • http://naver samurai

Karolyn and talkingabout are full of crap. Who do you think set up the unconstitutional welfare programs that use tax dollars to support these people? It sure wasn’t the conservatives or GOP, now was it? If they can’t go by our founding principles of self reliance, personal responsibility, and the vigilance to ensure that government remains our servants and not our masters, then they are nor good Americans. If they need help, they can get help from charities, churches, and their family. My mother-in-law in Korea has no job and they have no social security for her there, so Sook Young and I send her some money every month, give some to my mother every month, and give money to various charities to help the downtrodden. We even give clothes to our church to give to the poor, work at our local Faith Mission on Saturdays feeding the poor, and many other things. All these things are from the heart and not the government. This is the ways that God and Jesus told us to do, not having those that have money be forced to pay for them with tax dollars. You 2 neeeeed to get your facts straight before you post. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • talkinbout

Re: Sumuria, I try to treat everybody I talk to with respect. Name calling does not make you sound intelligent.

I am not a fan of welfare and will not advocate for it. I do feel sorry for those who’ve tried to do everything right but still find themselves being needy and I am pissed about those who abuse and game the system. I pay taxes too.

Who set up the “unconstitutional welfare programs” that use tax dollars to support the corporations? Do you support corporate welfare? You must be aware of the big corporations that make billions of dollars and yet pay no taxes and some even get refunds while paying nothing. If welfare is unconstitutional, as you say, why hasn’t that been brought before the Supreme Court? For most of the Bush II years the Repubs were in complete control of all three branches of government. Why didn’t they outlaw things like welfare or abortion then? But, you’re changing the subject. Welfare was around long before Obama came to the presidency so that can’t be his doing.

It appears that either you are rich or they’ve got you advocating for them against yourself. The game is rigged and the middle class is losing. Class warfare has been going on for decades but it’s only called class wawfare when the middle class tries to defend itself. The middle class IS America and when that’s gone we will be a like a third world country – all rich and poor. Then we will surely be ripe for your socialist/communist fears.

What makes you think that when the Repubs get rid of unions and government workers that anything will improve for you or me. It’s more likely that they will start making the argument that you are making too much money and they can get stuff done in poorer countries much cheaper. Do you think they will have any loyalty to you?

      • http://naver samurai

Thinkinabout, sorry to bust your bubble, but Sook Young and I are a middle class family. We are rich in other areas than money. We are rich in friends, family, experiences, but not in money. Though both of us work, with 4 kids it is almost impossible to keep savings in the bank. Next, I do not advocate for the rich or corporate welfare. You are right that these things have been going on for longer than Obama bin Laden has been in office. It basically started under FDR, but it has outlived its usefulness and is, along with other social programs, is the bulk of our budget. Get rid of it and then we’ll have the money to pay towards our ever rising debt and be able to strengthen this country’s military, fight the problem of illegals, and many other things. Next, corporate welfare is not a good thing either, but I’ll bet that Obama bin Laden gave out more money on bailouts and loans than any other president in history. Next, my wife and I want this country to get back to the ways we were founded and to go by the Constitution, get rid of progressiveism, get rid of secular humanism, etc. I hope this answers your questions. As far as my tone, I tend to answer things straightly, directly, and bluntly so no one will not misunderstand where I stand on an issue. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Alex Frazier

        @talkinbout …

I didn’t misinterpret what he said. Actually, you misinterpreted who I was answering. That’s my fault for not clarifying myself. The post was to you.

CJM said “the only thing they want is whatever YOU have worked hard to EARN.”

That is precisely the sentiment in the Occupy Wall Street movement. They are protesting for an equilibrium. They think the top earners of our country should pay more.

But pay more to what, exactly?

Well … there are some who think that they should get a free pass on the student loans they volutarily took out for their education. There are some who think that the wealth should be redistributed, which means taking it from one to give it to another (unless you have another definition for word “redistribute”).

So it’s not inaccurate to say that they want what others have worked to earn. Nor is it inaccurate to say that “they want it all, but not the dignity of working for it.”

In which case, I am in agreement with CJM.

However, I do not agree with you that “there is no evidence to back up the claim that Obama is taking away money from anybody to give to ‘people who don’t want to work for a living but want what you earned,’” when such people do, in fact, want what they have not earned.

And to be clear, CJM didn’t say they didn’t want to work, but that they wanted what belongs to others without working for it.

That being said, the video clip I posted showing Obama endorsing the socialist agenda of wealth redistribution is absolutely evidence that Obama intended to take away money from some to give to others. And he did just that as soon as he got in office.

I’ll address the body of your response in another post.

The way I see it is: None of the politicians want to work together to accomplish one damn thing. For the 100th time, I will post that all they are thinking about is 2012. All of them. Stall tactics? Yes. They aren’t thinking about the problems of America or they would get off their dead a##es, stop thinking politics and work together to create jobs. They disgust me.

      • Bruno Boccagalupe

Yes indeed, same as Karolyn wanted as she revolted in the 60s & 70s,
trouble is, she’s still revolting. Still wants it all, for free!

      • http://deleted Claire

I will not berate Karolyn or anyone else on this site. This is what freedom of speech is all about, whether what anyone posts is right (no pun) or wrong. We all have the option of speaking our minds and what we believe. I don’t always agree with everyone nor do they always agree with me. But I sure as hell won’t call them names just because they don’t agree with me. It is not always “my way or the highway.” People have been taught well, especially the name-calling-I hear it on the radio, thanks to the radio talk show hosts who think they are so almighty wonderful, when in reality they are nothing more than hatemongers, and because of the hate they spread, they are laughing all the way to the bank. I used to listen to them but no more. I have no room in my life for radicals. This is exactly why America is divided. This is exactly why there will be no end to the mess America is in. Constant turmoil and the lack of any common sense/rationality/fairness is the name of the game.

        @talkinbout …

        1. First of all, the 1% are the bankers. Don’t let media propaganda interfere with your intellect.

        2. Are the top earners now responsible for employers who refuse to pay higher wages?

        3. What business is it of yours or mine where the profits from business go? Or to whom they go? Did you earn it?

        4. The stupidity of the public at large is what gives the super rich political power, not their money. Your own argument is a product of their influence. Fighting for equilibrium and the redistribution of wealth is a socialist maxim.

        5. No one has more political power than a unified people at the polls. That’s a fact.

        6. Lower tax rates on top earners results in the expansion of business and the creation of jobs.

        7. Budget deficits are not caused by the wealthy being robbed of a mere 17% in taxes. They are caused by the government spending money they don’t have on programs that they can’t afford. That’s what a deficit is. It’s the balance between revenue and expenditures. Whatever is spent that is not covered by collected revenue is a deficit.

        8. Our deficit can be as readily fixed by cutting the spending as it can be by stealing from the wealthy.

        9. I don’t personally care if government services are being cut. The government was never tasked with the obligation to provide for our every want.

        10. I don’t want the government handling our children’s education.

        11. Roads, bridges, levies, and other infrastructure wouldn’t be in disrepair if the government weren’t spending all their revenue fighting wars, paying the indolent to put 24″ rims on their gas-guzzlers, giving free handouts to people won’t work, and paying to keep up mothers with six kids.

        12. It’s not the government’s job to provide safety nets through compulsory taxation. That is the duty of charity.

        13. Unions have their uses. But unions also foster violence and force people to pay for the privilege of earning a wage. You won’t find any sympathy for unions here.

        14. Competition in jobs is a good thing. Wages, just like prices, are too high. Perhaps if they ALL came down a bit, we might be in better shape.

        15. Immigrants who come here illegally shouldn’t be working at all. Government jobs pay too much. Unions suck.

        16. The middle class doesn’t need to borrow. Borrowing is wicked. They’d be better off if they saved and spent rather than borrowing. It’s the very mentality that people NEED to borrow that has led people like Ben Bernanke to make such ridiculous statements as the notion that our homes are our savings. And the country takes it literally as the middle class spends the equity in their homes to buy groceries.

        17. If you want to fix the money and spending problem in the middle class, the government needs to stop spending money they don’t have. That money has to come from somewhere. And it presently comes mostly from the middle class.

      • Alex Frazier

Claire, the reason they can’t get anything done is that they suffer from a difference in methodology. The Republicans firmly believe that higher taxes and further deficit spending will not work, and that it will have a negative impact. Democrats believe that deficit spending is the solution to our problem, and that austerity is foolish.

It’s no different than arguing about which way the light switch has to be flipped to turn on the light. One side says that you have to flip it up to the “on” position while the other says you have to flip it down to the position we can’t read, but that’ll we’ll just have to try to find out.

This is not a stall tactic. They are in full blown disagreement about the method by which our recovery is to be affected, and they both believe that the other’s point of view is dead wrong.

Therefore, coming to a decision is virtually impossible. They are completely deadlocked, and no compromise is possible when you completely, totally and utterly disagree.

      • MNIce

This is not at all a new concern: “I am afraid that the schools will prove the very gates of hell, unless they diligently labor in explaining the Holy Scriptures and engraving them in the heart of youth.” Martin Luther, 1483-1546

How long has it been since the public schools treated the Bible as anything but “outdated” or only “great literature with some historical significance”? In their efforts to expel Christianity under the guise of “separation of church and state, the public schools have become indoctrination centers for the godless religion of secular humanism (worship of Man), earth worship, or New Age pantheism and its various offshoots.

The safest way to educate your children is to homeschool or send them to your church school. If you do the latter, you still have the responsibility to monitor their progress and compare what they are learning with the Scriptures.

      • Erik

I keep a bible on hand in case I need something to blow my nose with, or wipe my backside.

      • CJM

Ever hear of osmosis, Erik? Better watch out—some of those scriptures just may rub off on you; then you’ll be out of excuses and lame-brained posts like you write on this site.

Ok God. I guess you read his post…ERIK’s, that is. Show him that our five limitted, little senses don’t really register everything that happens in this world. Let him taste both sides of the “outside the senses” world around us.
In the name of Jesus Christ.

      • Sirian

Erik if you’re so overly intelligent – questionable in reality – why not pick up a copy of “The Naked Communist” by Skousen and read it. It may very well give you a good reflection of your lack of understanding and easily you are being used. Once used, your expendable. Uh oh, sorry, that may be a bit beyond your ability to comprehend.

You are a waste of skin E. How can you say such drivil, when that is the book used for the founding of this great country? People like you are what is wrong with this country today. Why don’t you sit down, cross your legs, hold your breath, and fart? It’ll be a mind clearing experience for you. I’m glad there is God, Jesus, and Heaven. They are what is needed to help this country get back to the ways it was founded, a Christian nation. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

        Typical “Classy Liberal”.

Ok I can see things their way…through the crosshairs.

Erik,…What a comical post. We all know that with your attitude you don’t blow your nose, or clean your butt. You’re such a mental midget, your nurse has to do it for you.
