Desperate For Votes

The communists endorse the Occupy Wall Street crowd. No surprise the communists like the protesters. After all, Brian Phillips, their self-proclaimed leader, said the group’s goal is nothing less than “the overthrow of the government.” The question is: Why have Barack Obama and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee cozied up to them? Are they that desperate for votes? I guess the answer is “yes.”

Subsidizing cars in Europe. After receiving Energy Department loan guarantees totaling $529 million to manufacture electric automobiles, the Fisker car company said it couldn’t find a facility in the United States capable of doing the work it needed; so it moved its assembly line to Europe. When he praised the original loan, Vice President Joseph Biden said it would be “a bright new path to thousands of new jobs.” Yeah, Joe, but you didn’t say they’d be in Finland.

Turning fairy tales into class-warfare propaganda. A new version of The Pied Piper of Hamelin has just been published for kids. In this version, the children live in rat-infested garbage heaps while “the rich and greedy” live in comfort. The mayor and his councilors are “the nastiest of all the rich folk,” having bilked the working people out of their just due. In this version, the piper leads away both rats and children. But he says he’ll return the latter if the evil rulers change their ways. It sounds ideal for parents in the Occupy Wall Street crowd, doesn’t it?

Student loans pass the trillion-dollar mark. Students and workers seeking retraining borrowed more than $100 billion in Federal loan programs last year, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Total indebtedness for such loans will exceed $1 trillion by the end of the year — more than all the money that adults in America owe on their credit cards. And unlike most other debt, student loans cannot be erased by bankruptcy. It looks like a lot of youngsters will owe a lot of money for 20 years.

    In our local newspaper (metro – us – new york, 10/27/11, page 2), it appears the OWS mob is getting support from what may be a spinoff group of the disbanded outfit ACORN. Homeless people and former ACORN staffers getting paid $10 per hour to participate in Wall Street protests?? Again I’m reminded of Herman Cain, who made a great suggestion. These OWS morons should move all their protests to the White House and U.S. Capitol. Were it not for BHO and his Democraps, we’d have a much better economy, and the OWS drones could earn more than $10 per hour in REAL and PRODUCTIVE jobs!!

    The simplest way I could possibly explain the Wall Street Protesters would be observing a child crying to his mommy-mommy mommy I want his lollipop cause its bigger than mine.

    The “occupy” movement on Wall street isn’t surprising nor should it be viewed as communist IMHO. Such a view is painting these folks concerns with too broad a brush. When violence in this movement brook out these folks went too far however. That must be put down or better yet discouraged in violent behavior in the most careful and effective way possible. Too be sure, Wall street needs more significant reform especially in the OTC segment of these markets.

    Overthrow the government??? Really??? And then what? Not sure I believe anything good ole Chip has to say and I doubt that is what the Occupy Leadership is saying and is not in fact what I hear. I hear people saying that they want to overthrow the corporations that now control government. Get money out of politics and reform government to create level markets for all. The notion that corporations are people is ludicrous but if true then why does one corporation have more political power than me or any other real person? You see people the reason I will Occupy Somewhere is because I want free markets, open capitalistic competition, and level playing rules that do not exclude small fry like me for the sake of bigger fry that we all know corrupts government.

        You must either be naive or one of the corporations claiming to be a citizen. Suggest you try to meet with your state representatives and actually be heard, or simply take a trip to D.C. to learn for yourself how free markets are a thing of the past and how money greases the law making wheels to exclude and regulate mom and pop competition out of existence. The American dream is all but gone but the Occupy movement (to me) is about bringing it back. Take money out of politics and we might have a chance at taking gov back from corporations.

    The fact that CPUSA is endorsing the protesters isn’t very surprizing. Nor is the fact that the Progressive are. Remember late last year CPUSA tried to sue the Democrat Party for stealing their platform? CPUSA claimed that the Democrats simply relabeled their 1963 Communist platform as “Progressive”

    Of course obama supports the protesters. He is totally responsible for them with his “hate the rich, tax the rich” mantra. I guess his mere 4 million net worth doesn’t qualify him as being rich. Nothing good will come out of these protests. I don’t like winter, but a severe winter might be what’s needed to rid America’s cities of these sloths.

    Amazingly the Raleigh NC newspaper “The News and Observer” had an article in the Editorial page(8A) on “obamas conspiracy, revealed”, it is scary to what lengths obama will go to. Look it up.     You Guess? Yesterday on AOL they ran a Fox News article that shows ACORN runs the “Take over wall street” bunch and are hiring the homeless for $10 hr., transporting them, feeding, drinks, signs, tents, everything they need to rebel against America!
