hey alex you need to carry your sorry ass to another country if you can’t spell AMERICAN

    • JC

joe, Alex is just another liberal monkey hysterically banging his little drum of Hopey and Changey, childish Bull…he has no idea what “American” means in the first place and should have been lucky enough to be born in North Korea where he would have been much happier as a communist among his own kind.

    • eddie47d

Alex’s comment wasn’t anymore anal than your comment. Since you slam him it must mean you support the Bush/Cheney team and the fog of war that came over them in Iraq. Correct? Are you telling us that that war wasn’t fraudulent? That Bin Laden wasn’t also on their radar to kill or capture? Different day same sh*t.

      • JC

eddie you idiot…I’m a Libertarian and a Constitutionalist. I don’t support anyone’s BIG GOVERNMENT. Left or Right.

      • eddie47d

No JC you are just another smart azz!

      • JC

        eddie you idiot…
It was a statement of fact.
Is that the best you can do? Schoolyard stuff? (thought so)

      • http://?? Joe H.

        Jc,
Heres a good portrayal of eddie. “I know you are, but what am I???”
        Pure Peewee Herman!!!!

      • eddie47d

The school yard crap is coming from Joe and JC.

  • Polly

Does anyone have a theory as to why Nobel Peace Price winner Obama has sent troops to Uganda?? With instructions to use force ONLY to protect their own lives? (Winning prescription!)

Maybe he’s hoping for Blackhawk Down redux?

  • steve in AZ

Dat pic o’ bruv-vah O look like he be doing some training fo’ his next job as a TSA child molester. I so glad he gettin’ prepared.

  • armyblue

Biden and Reid need to work at a car wash for a day to get back to planet earth. When I see those jaws a jabbering I know someone’s going to get the short straw. Maybe some artifical grass and a pup tent down with the Wall Street apple I-pod crowd.

    • Buster the Anatolian

I don’t think a car wash will do it. They need to shovel chicken
sh!t for a day or two helping clean out a chicken house.

  • Baba

Reid forgets who employees him. How long has Reid been in office? Perhaps far toooo long. If he was hired into my business, he would have been gone a very long time ago.
    Nice job Ben!

  • jopa

I remember when Sarah Palin winked at me I hope this Ben guy isn’t.Why is he talking about the 49ers quarterback and showing a picture of Vick of the Eagles??

  • Sharon Jeanguenat

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but all the hatred spewed by you LEFT wingers is going to come back & bite you. By ‘liberating’ Libya, & Egypt, & all of the others our president is telling to ‘step down’, he is opening the door for the Muslim Brotherhood to take over, & they are 100 times worse than the ones in there now. I had no use for either dictator, but when the Muslims put Sharia law into place, it’s going to be a lot worse. And, when it takes over the US, which is their intention, then all of you left wing nuts will be done away with. Muslims do NOT allow alcohol, homosexuality, Christianity, Judaism, atheism, nor any other religion BUT Islam. As for making all the hatefilled comments you make, that will be completely stopped. They will take over the news, the internet, t.v., etc, & then what are you going to do, when you can no longer spout off publically, about anything. And, what will all the women do when abortions are definitely out, and they have to be completely veiled when in public, & definitely no sleeping around. You all think this country is so bad now, just wait. You ain’t seen nothin’ yet!

    • armyblue

Your exactly right. Iran is rejoicing over pullout. Resoration of conservative Islam is the plan. While the media here has spayed Christianity, Islam is given “front and center.” Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Iran, Somalia, and Iraq are up to the highest bidder or the next dictator.

    • eddie47d

These Arab Spring uprisings were about freedom and democracy and a voice in the internal workings of their governments. Whether the rest of their country chooses to join them is for them to determine not the USA. It may get uglier before it gets better but I wouldn’t want a foreign power in my country telling me what to do. If you haven’t noticed over the last 50 years every country we get involved in like Vietnam,Guatemala,El Salvador,Angola,Iraq,Yemen, etc end up with thousands to millions dead and a country in ruin. Some of these countries still haven’t rebounded and some end up in worse shape. To look at it another way China is also spreading itself all over the world. They are using economic persuasions and capturing large markets while we keep using military persuasion and losing markets and respect in the world. Which is the better option?

      • Dennis48e

eddie. The acting PM of Lybia has stated the country will be ruled by Islamic(sharia) law.

  • boondock

@denniso — must believe media — they never lie — truth…obama…truth…give it up libby. Your golden boy has done nothing but pay off the media to sing his empty praises. Go join your fleabag cohorts in protesting, um, whatever it is they are protesting. BLAME BUSH!! I mean, its been three years, Bush HAS to be the cause of all this, right? It can’t be your hitler wanna-be in office, now can it?

  • EdinNola

These poor people are not paid enough to chant and soil the streets and “public” parks. Instead of marching right past George Soros’ house, they should stop and protest the “wages” he is paying them. I mean, we have minimum wage laws in this commune, and he is not paying them nearly enough. Perhaps if he paid a bit more he could get the real violence he wants.

    • eddie47d

That’s another stretch saying that Soros wants violence. Where do some of you come up with this stuff?

      • bp

It’s called ‘research’ e47d; you should try it!

      • http://?? Joe H.

Gee eddie, I don’t know. Maybe it’s due to the FACT that soreass helped round up his own people during WW2 and says he ENJOYED it??? how many of those he helped round up went to the death chambers??? Or are you one that says that never happened??

      • JC

        Exactly Joe…Soros isn’t advocating violence…he’s advocating genocide.

      • eddie47d

Still waiting for that evidence that Soros financed OWS. Come on show your intelligence.

      • JeffH

Labor unions, communists, “community organizers,” socialists, and anti-capitalist agitators have all joined together to “Occupy Wall Street” and protest against “greed,” corporations, and bankers. But despite efforts to portray the movement as “leaderless” or “grassroots,” it is becoming obvious that there is much more going on behind the scenes than meets the eye.

Billionaire financier George Soros’ fingerprints, for example, have been all over the anti-Wall Street campaign from the very beginning. And this week, the infamous hedge-fund boss publicly announced his sympathy for the protesters and their complaints about bailouts — despite the fact that he lobbied for even greater unconstitutional handouts to bankers in 2009.

“Actually I can understand their sentiment, frankly,” Soros told reporters while announcing a large donation to the United Nations. “I can sympathize with their grievances.”

But Soros’ support for the protesters goes far beyond his tepid public statements. In fact, the original call to “Occupy Wall Street” came from the magazine AdBusters, an “anti-consumerist” publication financed by, among other sources, the Soros-funded Tides Foundation.

Other Soros-backed outfits promoting big government — some with myriad ties to the Obama administration — are also publicly driving the occupation campaign. MoveOn.org, for instance, has received millions of dollars from the billionaire banker. And now, the group is urging its supporters to join the Occupy Wall Street movement as well.

On top of supplying activists to join the demonstrations, MoveOn is also staging what it calls a “massive ‘Virtual March on Wall Street’ online.” The Internet-based demonstrations are a collaborative effort with another radical and well-connected outfit tied to Soros called Rebuild the Dream.

Led by self-described communist and former Obama administration czar Van Jones, the “Dream” movement is a partnership between a host of Soros-financed “progressive” groups. Big Labor and even Planned Parenthood — the largest abortion provider in America, which receives hundreds of millions of tax dollars each year — are partners, too.

      • eddie47d

Now Jeff has virtual finger prints to find someone “guilty”. Doesn’t take much for him in making things up.

  • bsfurg

hey come on Obama said he would have them out of Iraq one year after he got in office.. but then Obama said a lot of thing that he didnt get done….

    • Karolyn

Don’t they all? Seriously, I think that every President means what he says when campaigning but finds it too hard to make any changes when he hits the street in DC. It’s always politics as usual, and that’s not the President’s fault.

    • eddie47d

It all comes down to Congress in whether they will accept or reject these wars. There seems to be a large supply of blind acceptors.

  • Gayle

Well, here again nobody paying attention. Bush had already made deal with iraq to end war by this time and obama is only following the guidelines. This was stated on national news one time!!! Please tell me how obama is doing so much besides he and hillary helping the muslim brotherhood get a toe hold in all the conflicts at our expense.

  • http://Newsmax J Denver

Everyone of his so called accomplishments is based on programs aleady in palce. Typical, taking credit for anothers work. Let’s look at the results of Obnama’s hard work. 9.1% unemployment that wasn’t supposed to be more than 8% which is really 18% and $5 trillion in additional debt in less than 3 years, a GDP arounbd 1%, inflation, Obamacare… the list goes on and all in less than 3 years. What a guy.

    • JC

He even claims that “he” put together Seal Team 6 to kill Osama…
I guess he’s counting on us forgetting that he called Seal team 6 Cheney’s personal hit squad. Lieing sack of crap!

  • Gayle

Well, her again nob ody paying attention. Bush had already made deal with iraq

    • moonbeam

      whut?

  • Alex

As poor a president as Barack Hussein Obama has been, he will end the fraudulent war created by the Bush/Cheney Regime, as he promised to do, he was at the helm in killing Osama bin Laden after Bush/Cheney GAVE UP and allowed him to escape into Pakistan, his administration has dealt several very serious blows to the Al Qaeda leadership, and he has now assisted in the ousting of a tyrant responsible for many deaths through terror without the loss of a SINGLE AMERICAN LIFE.

Meanwhile, you people boo soldiers in a war zone and cheer the potential deaths of the uninsured (talk about Death Panels!!!). Way to go, Reich Wingers!!

Even a public so poorly informed as ours is eschewing the tea and smelling the coffee—-the GOP does not care about Amerikan families—it has been loudly self-avowedly concerned SOLELY with limiting Obama to one term and not to helping this stupid country somehow regain the jobs Capitalism packed off to Asia. For this, the GOP has not only lost any chance of regaining the White Guy’s House in 2012, they have alos put in peril the congressional gains they made in 2010—-again, thanks, Teagaggers!

As the arms-for-hostages and arms-for-drugs deficit tripler Ronald Raygun showed, the only thing that ‘trickles down’ is urine—you Fright Wingers just bottle it and call it ‘Tea’! <<HAA!! Good one, huh? And I don't even need a laugh track like Mr Crystal!!

    • Mike

      So gullible.

      • JC

Exactly. Another pseudo-intellectual Lib living in dream land.

The Democrats don’t care about you either – they just want your vote and will lie to you to get it. Seems to be working just fine in your case!

      • http://www.headprimer.com kantstanja

“The Democrats don’t care about you either – they just want your vote and will lie to you to get it. Seems to be working just fine in your case!”

AND so will the Republicans.. what? Do you think politics is a ‘one’ party crook? Take a fresh breath if (when) the Reps get in, the stench will smell the same. You should understand.. Everyone must understand, we’re working with a monster that we ourselves helped to create, not a few of us, not even a majority but ALL of us! Revolution won’t save us now.. They’ll just turn the weapons on us(that WE paid for) and shove them up our collective asses, then celebrate by declaring that they destroyed the filthy American terrorists.. What we really need to do, what would help bring this country back to sanity is to REALLY contemplate who we vote for, leave the rock and hard place, the lesser of two evils, the dems or the reps out of this.. Look at the candidate listen to his/her words.. Don’t dwell on their affiliation.. Don’t let their smiling faces win you over.. Vote for the President that will operate and LIVE by the American Constitution and if you can’t find one then vote for “NONE OF THE ABOVE”.. THEN vote against the (very, very vile) electoral college.. THEN let’s see how these clowns cope. Depending on one party OR the other hasn’t produced much more than a tin of goat piss since it’s inception.. We need candidates, NOT parties…! Running the Country for All Americans is NOT a party.. It’s a privilege. Only one man has quoted our constitution while all the rest has tossed fan $hit in each others faces (and if you think that’s bad then wait until Bama get’s into the act.. Hell, we won’t be able to tell the criminals from the crooks without a program).

If ignorance was dollars you’d be a billionaire.

    • http://Hogue/JohnnyLeeClary Dale Hogue

Some of the post writers who do their writing on these pages are self described liberals, progressives, socialists and Obama supporters. I suggest that the posters who write about what happened in the Middle East during Bush’s administration should read the three books written by Donald Rumsfeld, Dick Cheney and George W. Bush in order for them to understand why certain historical events in the Middle East took place the way they did during the 2001 through the 2008 timeframe. Doing so will not only help them write better posts, it will help them to better understand the subject matter on which they are commenting. In this way, they don’t have to use liberalistic fictional accounts of what, where, when, why and how these events took place.

      • eddie47d

Why wouldn’t those three write biographies praising themselves and making up facts to suit a positive view of their involvement in the Iraq War? Don’t be so gullible Mr Hogue.

      • carol

You mean like when Obama wrote his historical fiction before becoming Pres.?

      • eddie47d

That has no bearing on Obama’s Presidential actions. Now when he does write a book on his Presidency it could indeed be one sided and full of hype like those other 3 mentioned.

      • http://?? Joe H.

Or more than likely a whole hell of a lot worse!!!!

      • Polly

Why don’t you read the three books and apply some critical thinking before you dismiss them? Just avoid sipping any more Koolaid as you read. … Nah, don’t mess with your worldview.

    • Dale on the left coast

When the Iranians and Turks move into Iraq and take over, claiming the oil . . . will you be protesting???
That is the likely outcome . . . the incompetent, clueless pres and sec. of state will own this mess.
You radical leftists would put Sadim back in power if you could . . . as the Brotherhood takes control of most of the ME, and the inept pres spend us into oblivion . . . you just sit in the park with you dumb signs . . . lol.

      • eddie47d

That was a ridiculous thing to say that anyone “would want sadistic Saddam back in power”. That is a real stretch for even someone like you. If you want to check out history though Saddam was at one time a stabilizing factor in the Middle East and should have been left alone before the 80′s.It all came tumbling down when Reagan and Russia poured weapons into his country. That gave Saddam thunder he never had before and gave him a power trip we all regret. The only message now should be to stop arming any of these tyrants for every one of them uses those arms against their own people. Yes the Kurds want to take part of Turkey for their homeland of Kurdistan and Turkey wants to kill all the Kurds living in Turkey. Sounds like an internal problem for them and not the USA. The Iranian threat has been hyped up for decades and the only thing that changes is US Presidents. Obama seems to be on that same bandwagon and full of cocky bluster himself. We keep poking and prodding in the Middle East and expect different results. This Arab Spring may have positive results or maybe not but it is their fight and their countries.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        eddie,
Well let’s see what type of Pandora’s box is opened in Libya which is ALL Odumbas!!! You libbies all say Bush was clueless about what weapons Saddam had??? Odumber has NO CLUE WHAT SO EVER ABOUT WHAT WEAPONS GADDAFFI HAD AND NOW THEY ARE ALL IN THE HANDS OF THE REBELS!!! What the hell are you gonna say if some city here in the US is on the recieving end of a chem or dirty bomb?!?!?!? Grow up, boy!!!

      • eddie47d

I’m not your boy, BOY toy Joe. Gaddafi didn’t happen those kinds of weapons that Iraq may have had. Most countries with weapons are dangerous including the USA. So take your flip-pin crap somewhere else you big baby!

      • http://?? Joe H.

So tell me eddie boy, just where is your proof that gadaffi didn’t have “those kind” of weapons??? Almost every site I have gone to has articles about gaddaffi agreeing to disarm and also starting to stock pile AGAIN!! Tell you what eddie boy, why don’t you start by telling me where the estimated 18 backpack nukes missing from the now-defunct USSR went to??? When you are able to do that then maybe I’ll listen to your “sage” advice!!!

      • eddie47d

I’m sure you have no clue about those “nukes” so why are you pretending you have so much knowledge about them.

    • http://google gary gerke

If you give Obama total credit for what you said, Which by the way you can’t, how does any of it make up for his disastrous failed fiscal policies that is taking America down financialy.

    • s c

A, you have no idea how confused you are, do you? In the same paragraph, you slam dunk Obubba, and then you dare to put him on a utopian pedestal. Are you one of those bet-splitters who donates to both sides in an election?
Whatever you are, you shouldn’t expect to be paid for your rant. While you’re trying to figure out the difference between up and down, tramp down to the nearest flea-baggin’ demonstration and see if you can chat with a media whore.
We need all the prostituted news we can get to make certain that you a) know why you’re there b) you might get to see Chrissie Mathews in person (makes my leg tingle just to think about it) and c) you can show the others how to properly take a dump on a police car and feel good about it. What lofty standards you have. Is it a family ‘thing,’ or are you the exception?

    • Jay

Zieg Hail Alex, vell done comrade! I vill put a good vord to z Fuhrer for you!

      • http://?? Joe H.

        Jay,
Zee Fuher vill give you 50 lashes for not calling him der STORMEN fuher!!! you know he vas verrry insrtrumental in ze killing of Bin Laden!!! LOL!! What a crock!!!

    • Change?

I heard that Osama Bin Laden died of kidney disease in 2002, which has even been mentioned by many people in high positions. Why do you think that special forces ‘Seal Team 6′ who supposedly killed Bin Laden were all put in a helicopter that blew up? Do you suppose it’s because ‘dead men can’t talk?’

The picture I saw that was supposedly a dead Bin Laden did not even look like Bin Laden. Maybe Osama Hussein Obama dug up his skeletal remains and glued some plastic and a false beard on it. NOT! Seal Team 6 raided a private residence and ‘MURDERED’ innocent people and Leon Panetta ordered it to give Obama credit because the man has no credibility to his name. The only credible thing I can think of Obama doing is scolding ‘thunder thighs’ for freely spending people’s tax dollars at her own will.

Obama has to go, along with Holder, Reid, Pelosi, Geitner, Bernanke, Chertoff, Napolitano, Frank, Dodd, Hoyer, and especially Panetta. All of the above are Panetta’s frightened puppets and pansies who would s#$t their pants if Panetta said ‘BOO’. That man runs this country and has corrupted the CIA, FBI, and the Pentagon which he heads. Frankly, I think all of them should be drug onto the street and publicly executed just as Quadaffi was, and of course, without a trial.

Maybe it will come to that – if they don’t mass murder all of us with their chemical trail poisons – because they underestimate human beings. Every being has an in-depth and inherent will to survive and they will do anything to survive – including murdering those who threaten their survival. Average people are also threatening the crooks survival by exposing their corruptness and illegal bank accounts. One doesn’t receive a $120,000 salary and live in a mansion as Panetta and all the rest of the higher-ups in the Pentagon and CIA are. Could illegal drug running and off-shore banking be the reason for their massive fortunes?

I respect all religions and all of you who think Obama is ‘GOD’, good for you because you’re now Satan’s children. Anyone who goes along with the elimination of 80% of Earth’s population, as Panetta and Obama, is nothing but pure EVIL. Anyone who is as wicked as our elected and appointed officials deserves to burn eternally in hell, and that includes both Democrats and Republicans.

Ron Paul is the only person who has ethics and morals and he can sleep peacefully at night because his conscience is clear and clean. If we allow Obama another four years, we won’t be out on the streets protesting because he will declare himself ‘King’ and anyone who dares protest against him will be murdered or locked up in FEMA camps.

Just a note regarding VP Biden’s ‘Rape and murder’ accusation: If the liberals didn’t try taking away our 2nd Amendment Right to keep and bear arms, maybe that 200 pound thug would be staring into the barrel of a gun with a 120 pound woman sitting on him. You aren’t intelligent Biden when you try taking away people’s rights to defend themselves then whimper like a puppy that women will be raped if Obama’s jobs bill isn’t passed. Actually, you’re a pathetic being, and I would like to know what the hell you and Obama are smoking? I didn’t realize ‘medical’ marijuana made people’s minds as delusional as yours. If the only thing liberals have to rally with and rely upon a vote is through lies, threats, scare tactics/begging, welfare to illegals, and murder, they do not deserve to represent the people. And those who vote for repeated stupidity to represent them year after year do not deserve a free, thriving, capitalist country.

Don’t you understand that you are being used by these groups that are jockeying for more power over everyone? Even IF Obama takes all the rich people’s money – NONE OF IT is going to be distributed to you. It’s just going to a different group of power mongers running the show. And in the end we will all lose our freedom! You need to read how Hitler and Stalin took over movements and enslaved and murdered millions just to stay in power. • Dntmkmecmoverther

Ok, now I know what we are dealing with…this is a YOU problem BOB.

“If 43 was not the prime player that crafting these two invasions and the wars that followed, please tell us who was?”
Answer: Congress -they are the only ones who can declare war or make a motion to engage in a war. Who controlled congress and the senate at the time: DEMS.

If 43 saw a victory, beyond the dethroning and capture of Saddam on any front, social, economic, political, or militarily, please tell us what it was?
Answer: no terrorist plots carried out after 9/11 on American soil. THAT sir, is what I call a monumental BIG WIN for our social, economic, political life. A military accomplishment about which YOU ought to be very, very thankful.

Considering 43′s administration had 8 years to get “SOMETHING” completed, tell us what it might be? As I do look for the silver lining to all the lives offered, money spent and time devoted to theses efforts.
Answer: Bush spent a bulk of his time, every day, hammering out the intelligence reports on terror activity across the globe; do you have ANY idea how much effort and time that absorbed? Stop being such a dimwit. (Oh, and Bush warned of the FannyMae Freddy Mac debacle but Fudgepacker Frank would not allow any debate or action on the allegations. Bush brought it up, oh, about a dozen times…)

43 occupies 8 years in our recent timeline of history and unlike a ex-wife from hell, that you can learn to forget and move on. We will not forget this period of history anytime soon.
Answer: yeah, you will forget your misapplied reality as soon as we get Obama back where he belongs..OUT of office. Comparing these two by their history will provide a ‘jobs plan’ that Obama never intended. History books on ‘Why You Don’t Elect Non Citizens’ will be everywhere… I can’t wait!

Panty waists like you just make my day.

      • eddie47d

Dntmkmecmoverther must be a huge supporter of the Patriot Act with that heap of praise. Why should anyone be thankful for a war that never should have been? Why are you gloating over a leader who pulled off this folly and set us up for more wars in that region? We should thank the troops, find them jobs and ignore the basta*ds that got us into these messes. Bank robbers also do wrong but they get jail time for their misdeeds while you attempt to put a crown of glory on Bush’s head. You need to take your trifocals off and see what your king has done to this country or else you are as complicit as Obama in his warmongering. One big difference is that Obama is bringing this Iraq War to an end. Something the Republicans were to cowardly to attempt. Another thing is that Obama has to spend every waking day hammering out an effort to bring jobs back to America. Something the Republicans also dumped into Obama’s lap and still refuse to jump in and help out. They behave like a kid who messed up their room and then refuse to clean it up.Then the adult has to come in and do it. You can throw all the stones you like but your glass house also has alot of cracks in it.

      • bob wire

        Dntmkmecmoverther says; alot!

You are delusional and obsessed Sir.

Might back off on that TV watching.

I can’t help but wonder if you are over medicated or under medicated.

You need to seek help before you pop a gasket.

Bush was a limp wrist pu$$y, momma’s boy, born with a silver spoon in his mouth and didn’t have a lick of sense and if you can’t see that for what it is ~ it comes as little surprise at this point.

But you are right about one thing, a DCN congress did crater to the “W’s” administrations wishes. This says more about the dysfunction nature of government we now have then is does any single party.

But talking with you about such matters is a complete waste of time, ~you are sick and harmless to anyone but yourself and the ones that must live in your shadow. ~ I pity their position. I hope you live alone.

If you really want to get personal , it can be arranged.

      • Jay

Let’s not forget the fact that the Bush’s were doing business with the Bin Laden Families, as well as doing business with Saddam. Doesn’t anybody do RESEARCH anymore? And why isn’t the brainless media make any mention of that? Yes, Bush sr. & jr. fuc**d things up, and Obama just picked up where they left of and making things much worse! Ron Paul-2012!

      • Vieteravet

Bush was bad, but this douche bag is worse. 4 trillion dollars in 3 years, a 1.3 trillion dollar budget, bombing Libya without congressonal approval. Yeah this idiot’s better!

        Re: dntmkmecmoverther,

“Who controlled congress and the senate at the time: DEMS.”
Who controled the phony intelligence given to congress: REPUBS. (by the way, the senate is part of congress)

“no terrorist plots carried out after 9/11 on American soil.”
No terrorist plots carried out during Obama administration plus the capture of main terrorist leaders. “A military accomplishment about which YOU ought to be very, very thankful.”

“Bush spent a bulk of his time, every day, hammering out the intelligence reports on terror activity across the globe; do you have ANY idea how much effort and time that absorbed?”
Bush was warned repeatedly by the out going administration that bin Laden and al qeada were planning to attack the U.S. but didn’t have one single security meeting until after 911.

“(Oh, and Bush warned of the FannyMae Freddy Mac debacle but Fudgepacker Frank would not allow any debate or action on the allegations. Bush brought it up, oh, about a dozen times…)”
In 2005 President George W. Bush chose Chris Cox to succeed Donaldson as SEC chair. Cox weakened the ability of the enforcement staff to investigate securities violations by Wall Street firms, much less prosecute them and eliminated an office that that had been set up specifically to watch out for future problems with high risk investments.

“Frank would not allow any debate or action on the allegations.”
Frank says that would have been quite a feat since Republicans controlled the congress.

“you will forget your misapplied reality as soon as we get Obama back where he belongs..OUT of office.”
Oh, yeah, everything will be just hunky dory after Obama leaves office and Repubs get to do the same old same old free market/trickle down BS that was the reason the last three Republican presidents left office with record debt and why we are in this economic mess. And let’s not forget that Republican are responsible for two thirds of the debt and they ran up their debt making themselves and their friends richer and more powerful at tax payer’s expense (war profiteering and tax cuts)while Obama added a third to the debt in an effort to revive the economy.

“History books on ‘Why You Don’t Elect Non Citizens’ will be everywhere”
Obama’s birth certificate is on line for everybody to see and has been investigated intensely by just about everybody including The Donald who reportably spent over a million dollars trying to prove it false. We can’t help it if facts, realty and science mean nothing to you.

        Right on Denniso!!!!

      • Graystroke

WOW…wee boy you really told us off wow I’m so ashamed I mean how can we be so blind to see the crass childlike tantrums as nothing but ghetto class and the additional drone murders and justifying the murder of a American terrorist w/o due process your so spot on! Yeah now all we need to do is hone in on those pesky veterans TEA party folks and pick up the terrorist label a tick and by-pass due process for say posting a billboard for calling him out hey we have a star chamber that makes no mistakes per the great one… thanks for keeping us so humble and pointing out our faulty thinking on Keynesian economics and all your so right I mean thank goodness we never vetted him out …good job…

      • Sharon Jeanguenat

Not to mention that Obama put us deeper in debt in the first year more than any president since Washington. Plus the total he achieved is more than the years from 1778 to 1957 added together. Big accomplishment!

Accounts left unpaid by a prior administration along with commitments made by 43 and honored by 44, Madam.

One of the problems associated with the peaceful, seamless transitions of power that the American People have always taken great pride in.

It might seems peaceful and seamless to the outside world but it does take a lot of effort and comes at a cost.

      • Dntmkmecmoverther

        @ Bob Wire:
“Accounts left unpaid by a prior administration along with commitments made by 43 and honored by 44, Madam.”
(Like what? Obama pushed and passed the largest ‘stimulus’ BS Bill of all time. He at the same time by administrative edict, going AROUND congress, has initiated more spending without taxpayer approval than all the other presidents combined. If that begs congratulations then I missed something.

One of the problems associated with the peaceful, seamless transitions of power that the American People have always taken great pride in. (Oh, and Obama’s promise to have us out of foreign wars; was that just another big fat lie? WE have more of our people on the ground in the sandbox now than ever; AND we are engaged in Libya, Egypt and now Sudan…can’t you see what we are dealing with? Obama is megalomaniac! Wake TF up!

It might seems peaceful and seamless to the outside world but it does take a lot of effort and comes at a cost. It is fairly seemless when one works within the confines of the US Constitution; something this current admin might want to consider before it’s too late.

      • eddie47d

Your flip flopping all over the place Dntmkmecmoverther.I say we should pull all our troops out of the Middle East. In your other comment at 10:31 you supported these wars and now you have the audacity to scold Obama because we are still involved. #1 Our war efforts will end in Iraq by Dec 31,2011. That is ending a war, something the Republicans couldn’t accomplish.#2 We have no troops in Egypt or the Sudan and the Libyan war is winding down. That sure beats 9 years in Iraq. What did the Constitution gain us in Iraq? Precious little maybe even a loss and even more tension in the Middle East.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        eddie,
I don’t call leaving 150 marines in IRAQ ENDING our ‘war effort” in Iraq!! not to mention the fact that those Marines are gonna be in more heat than the original Marines that invaded! if push comes to shove, do you think those iraqi troops(?) will help defend those Marines?? quit dreaming, boy!!!

      • eddie47d

Marines guard our embassies Joe and Iraq has one of the largest in the world. If there are 3- 24 hour shifts you can easily see the need for those troops. There are also 2 other cities with Consulates who will need a few Marine guards.

      • http://?? Joe H.

Yeah eddie, thats what they thought about the Marine barracks in 1980 and our embassy that got blown up in 81, if I remember right!

      • eddie47d

The embassy in Iraq was built extremely well. Thar barracks in Lebanon weren’t and wasn’t even guarded well. They just drove in. So what’s your point or do just like to hear yourself chatter.

      • eddie47d

Graystroke fails to realize that the Republicans also attempted to nail Bin Laden and Gaddafi and failed on both accounts. There was no “due process” in their process either so who is the blind one?

      • Vieteravet

When Bush was in office, Gadaffi (SP) signed a treaty to disarm because of Bush’s actions in the middle East. Learn your history troll!

      • eddie47d

Your comment didn’t make sense. Reagan did try to kill Gaddafi and Bush “attempted” to kill Bin Laden. So check out your facts pal.

      • Dennis48e

      • bob wire

Actually, If America was not taking on so much water and sinking when 44 came aboard.

We might have had the time and devoted the effort to see both Bush and Chaney stood trial for their breach international law, contract of faith and war profiteering.

If I’m not mistaken, France wanted to extradite Chaney.

44′s administration rather then doing such things actually blocked such actions, seeing it as not to the benefit of America while “probable cause” hanged heavy in the air.

But, I’d not expect you to find an appreciation in such matters. Your “FEELING” duly noted since 44′s inauguration.

      • Dntmkmecmoverther

Gawd you have a flawed sense of reality and history!

The ‘water’ we as citizens have ‘taken on’ has been at the hands of congress ever since 1934 with your man FDR. It continued with LBJ and his so called ‘war on poverty’. Back in 1930, only 17% of our incomes went to the government (state and federal). Now it’s 47% for the average family. To lay that on Bush is patently absurd. Get your history and your facts straight. And then go do something about it rather that spill your ignorance in the form of word sentences on blogs.

You might pull up some data and do a little more looking about.

Dntmkmecmoverther, don’t be puzzled in regards to Bob and eddie. It’s just that, you said some rather mean things about their party and its leader, and by God you’re gonna pay for it!

Government has grown much larger under conservative leadership then any others.

What you are suggesting as reasons for small government and the
“military/conservatives” preferring small government fails to support what we see taking place over the last 30 years.

So you need to go back to the VFW hall and rethink it with your buddies.

I’m agreeing with your statement but refuse to accept the reasons you mention and I find them false. A conservatives have seem to enjoy big government and they have make it larger while claiming it should be small.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        bob wire,
You keep typing CONSERVATIVE. Please tell me the last true conservative government we have had? The lastten REPUBLICAN governments we have had have been anything but conservative!! Just different levels of RINOs, all of them! Actually closer to liberals than republican or conservative!!!

      • Jim

Bush administration laid the ground work for Obama. Without the groundwork, Obama could find his way out of a wet paper bag!

      • bob wire

And you refer to this debacle as “ground work”?

Okay, ~ it was. ~ Ground Work that could have been avoided or done more effectively.

But we are left make the best of it and see that something good might come of it.

We did a door to door sweep of eastern Europe and the south Pacific, resulting in an “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER” on two fronts in just 4 years while this has been going on 10 years Jim.

        Ground Work you say?

      • Dntmkmecmoverther

It’s obvious you evidently have no war or military experience.
We engaged millions of troops in WWII.
We engaged about 175,000 in Iraq for the first 30 days, then took it down to 90,000, then to 30,000 ‘in theatre’ by 90 days. (even though we average 150,000 ‘in country’ on the ground as support, that’s still WAY under any other declared war campaign in US history)

        You do the math genius.

      • bob wire

As a matter of fact I hold a DD214 that documents both my time DROS date, rank, MOS,the many decorations, award and achievements along with blood type and religious preference.

You speak of ground work ~ and I say it was poorly contrived and poorly executed, it was an embarrassment to any Combat vet that has seen it up close and personal and knows the different between bad planing and good planing.

I’m not going to spent much time with you discussing it but isolating and containment was serious lacking from the beginning, leaving the troop to pay “rent”. Invasion forces should never find themselves in a position to pay rent. If I have control, have the ground, the air, the water, the fuel, the hardware I’m not paying rent and bleeding out. I’m not staying long enough to pay rent.

Top Brass opposed these operations, many retired or simply quit, refusing to be a part of it, knowing full well the end game would be most undesirable.

So ~ you are entitle to your opinion and can shout them if you wish but military men if allow to speak would disagree with you.

You called it “ground work” and I agreed with you. What more to you want from me?

      • Vieteravet

The coward Johnson and Kennedy got in VN 13 years without trying to win (this was my war), 58,000 killed. I think this one worked out better.

When you compare WW2 and this debacle we are in now, you are comparing apples to oranges. Since korea all the actions, police actions, battle zones and conflicts have been guerilla warfare. we are not just fighting a uniformed armies anymore. the rules of engagement are REDICULOUS, and with politicians running them we are fighting hamstringed!!! Of course fighting THAT way we are gonna be engaged LONGER, a lot LONGER!!!

      • http://?? Joe H.

PS, to you and the other libs who are worried about the enemy getting their miranda, it’s simple. Just etch it on the projectile of every round issued to our troops, stencil it on every missile, bomb and piece of ammo issued and when they ask if the enemy recieved their miranda, you can honestly reply “YES,SIR”!!

      • eddie47d

      • dwright77

Reply to denniso……I always said we should have NEVER put boots on the ground in the mid-east. I agree Bush wasted our money on those wars (when he put our troops in their countries) but in comparison to Obama, its a drop in the bucket. Obama is spending us into oblivion and the far left support this to create chaos in our country and the world in an effort to create an environment in which they can take control. The evidence that this process has begun are the “small” but growing number of radical left wing protesters in New York and other cities in the US with the larger number of radical protesters in other countries. Greece is a prime example of what happens when socialist (yes, I said the “s” word) principles are put in place.

      • Polly

I’m always surprised at how well Obama & His Dems have convinced his brain-free devotees that the Republicans, who had NO power for The O’s first two years, are responsible for stopping all the wonderful programs that would have fixed the economy. Or do they think the past 9 months destroyed everything wonderful the Dems accomplished is their free-for-all first two years?

And I DO blame Bush for part of this crap. He never stood up for himself in his eight years. Yes, the MSM wouldn’t have covered it, but without any defense, the Dems were able to roll over the Republicans and gain enough power to pass ObamaCare and the trillion-dollar union bailout. Plus, to this day the voters accept that the economic meltdown was Bush’s fault — no one blames Carter’s CRA, Clinton & His Dems’ expansion of this affirmative action housing debacle, or Fannie & Freddie and their corruption.

      • bob wire

It’s all that TV that people watch Polly.

I’m surprised that you are surprised.

These ideas and feeling you hold are due to what and who you have allowed in and who you have kept out.

Needless to say, I can’t undo this with just a few words and a few minutes of your time anymore then you can tell me how to knit a sweater.

      • Polly

Bob Wire, I’m sure you won’t be surprised when I tell you I have no idea what you just said.

For a moment I thought you were chastising me for not realizing how easily Democrats are duped. Then you hinted that I don’t get out much. Then you confessed that you’re incapable of condensing the facts into a few paragraphs.

Let me put your mind at ease: Don’t try. I’ll be fine.

      • JeffH

        Polly, :) well put!

      • http://?? Joe H.

        Hey bob wire!
How’s it feel to be verbally slapped down by the little lady above?? Way to go Polly!!!

      • bob wire

okay Polly, ~ I’ll try again,

“I’m always surprised at how well Obama & His Dems have convinced his brain-free devotees that the Republicans, who had NO power for The O’s first two years, are responsible for stopping all the wonderful programs that would have fixed the economy.”

In this statement you are giving credit to “O” and the DNC for duping the brain dead into believing the mean old GOP stop his indicatives while they held a minority. ~ That’s the way I understand your statement Polly

So are you trying to tell us all here today that the GOP “DID NOT” set historical records with the use of the filibuster on the Senate floor and the 110th Congress?

Are you attempting to tell us Polly this is a lie on the part of the President and the DNC? There there was not never 134 projected filibusters? Or tha there was even a record setting number regardless the amount?

“Never have so many filibusters been threatened as in the first quarter of the 110th session of Congress. At this rate, by the end of the session in 2008, there will be more than double the highest number of cloture votes of any session of Congress in history.

While the filibuster is a tactic used on both sides of the aisle, these numbers are unprecedented. Republican obstructionism is preventing the vast majority of legislation from moving forward and is thwarting the will of the American people.”

Will I admit it Polly, I am shock if I’ve been lied to because if I have , it a lie told by many.

So are you accepting the filibuster obstructionism but ignoring it’s importance. Or just being rather brain dead yourself?

and I am glad that you are “well”, you did have my concern with such a posting statement describing democrats as being brain dead to believe current events as I wonder where Polly get her information.

      • http://www.headprimer.com kantstanja

And THAT’S the point!! Stop nitpicking!.. It was EVERYBODY’S FAULT!!! If the previous administrations had taken care of business and refused to cater to their ‘special’ interests, we wouldn’t be in the position we’re in today and if history’s an indicator, if you think Oblammer has bumped our Country into bankruptcy.. just wait until the next administration.. Don’t you get it? Be it dem or rep, we’re too into debt to ‘just’ get over it.. It’s gonna take decisions that a NEW majority will be bitching about.. But, as Nostradamus implied, that’s just a prediction, the actual reality lies within our grasp to change it.. It won’t be easy.. We won’t like it.. But, this time.. Give the new boss a reasonable amount of time to prove himself before you allow the majority congress to say, “We will reject EVERY THING this President proposes until he’s out of office”.

      • Jay

Our problem is not this administration, or what previous administrations have done per say. Rather, our problem is the power that has controlled previous administrations, and presently controls the current! To look for changes, or to expect our current administration to act sovereignly, and for the good of the American people, is a pipe dream! Our current political system has no more power to make decisions than it’s citizens, whom it claims to represent. Before change can occur, we must identify, and amputate the corruptive power that dictates the policies, and shapes the characteristics, of our so-called administration! Until then, we can rage, debate to exhaustion, huff and puff at these political puppets, seemingly in power, till we are blue in the face, and all for nothing! It will do no good! The play is scripted, as the plot has been pre-detirmined, and grovelling on our knees, and begging the principal players/puppets to change their behaviour/policies, is pointless! Not only should we bite the hand that feeds us, but we should kick our “Vampiric Benefactors” out of our politics!

      • eddie47d

Sorry you have to explain it to them so many times Bobwire. Joe is a little slow too.

      • eddie47d

        Excellent reply Jay.

      • http://?? Joe H.

Yeah, eddie I’m slow! It’s from having to come down to your level to explain things! You need to get out a little more, you’re growing mold on your pea sized brain!!!

      • crapnscoop

Hold the bucket under denniso’s chin. He’s spewing progressive vomit!

      • JC

Obama got Bin Laden? That would sure be a surprise to Seal Team 6.
And I haven’t noticed anyone here shouting the praises of GWB. In fact if it weren’t for the idiot liberals and Obama we might be able to get busy cleaning up Bush’s mess too. But NO…Mr. Transparency the Kenyan Imposter whose whole story is nothing but a con job has involved us in even MORE WARS, run our economy completely into the ground and disgraced us completely by bowing to the enemy…Oh! and not to mention his refusal to address the foreign invasion on our southern border…

Yet there are still complete idiots who think this low life con man is God Almighty….Onward through the fog Kamrade Denniso…

      • eddie47d

What praises are we to be singing for GWB, JC? The war in Iraq? The Patriot Act? The No Child Left farther Behind Act? Then you go into the usual blame Obama for the border issue when most of those illegals came in under GWB and Clinton’s terms in office. You are so full of political baloney I can see the mold from here. US Immigration and Customs Director John Morton announced last week that 400,000 illegals were deported in the last fiscal year (July 2010-July 2011).A heck of alot more than Reagan,Bush,Clinton and Bush deported combined. So your anti-Obama manure pile(lies) keeps growing higher.

      • JC

eddie you idiot…as usual you missed the point completely.
And that is all the response you’re worth.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        eddie,
Using the math level of your grandkids, even you ought to know it’s easier to deport more illegals when theres more coming in!! And don’t even try to tell me the government says there’s less coming in as this is the same government that says the unemployment rate is 9.2% when it’s actually around 20%!!!

      • eddie47d

JC and Joe’s response shows they can’t deal with facts and hide behind lame comments or misinformation. Atta boys! Joe and JC are entrenched blinded right wingers without an ounce of integrity.

      • JC

eddie you idiot…you’re ignorance know no bounds.
        You’re perverse views aren’t facts.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        JC,
eddie wouldn’t know a fact if it biatch slapped him in the face!! This is further proven by the fact that they often DO!!!

      • eddie47d

I thought your face was a war wound Joe. Apparently not so it must have came natural.

You are either blind or brain dead…..Look at the numbers, Obama VS Bush dollars spent along with the total failing of Obama’s policies and regulations. Four more years of Obama policies should just about flush America as we know it.

      • Alex

        Thank God!

Bush, Bush and more blaming of Bush!
Bush was a terrible president but
If George W. Bush had doubled the national debt, which had taken more than two centuries to accumulate, in one year, would you have approved?
If George W.. Bush had then proposed to double the debt again within 10 years, would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had criticized a state law that he admitted he never even read, would you think that he is just an ignorant hot head?
If George W. Bush joined the country of Mexico and sued a state in the United States to force that state to continue to allow illegal immigration, would you question his patriotism and wonder who’s side he was on?
If George Bush had pronounced the Marine Corps like Marine ‘Corpse’ would you think him an idiot?
If George W. Bush had put 87,000 workers out of work by arbitrarily placing a moratorium on offshore oil drilling on companies that have one of the best safety records of any industry because one company had an accident would you have agreed?
If George W. Bush had used a forged document as the basis of the moratorium that would render 87,000 American workers unemployed would you support him?
If George W. Bush had been the first President to need a TelePrompTer installed to be able to get through a press conference, would you have laughed and said this is more proof of how inept he is on his own and is really controlled by smarter men behind the scenes?
If George W. Bush had spent hundreds of thousands of dollars to take Laura Bush to a play in NYC, would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had reduced your retirement plan’s holdings of GM stock by 90%and given the unions a majority stake in GM, would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had made a joke at the expense of the Special Olympics, would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had given Gordon Brown a set of inexpensive and incorrectly formatted DVDs, when Gordon Brown had given him a thoughtful and historically significant gift, would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had given the Queen of England an iPod containing videos of his speeches, would you have thought this embarrassingly narcissistic and tacky?
If George W. Bush had bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia, would you have approved?
If George W.. Bush had visited Austria and made reference to the nonexistent “Austrian language,” would you have brushed it off as a minor slip?
If George W. Bush had filled his cabinet and circle of advisers with people who cannot seem to keep current in their income taxes, would you have approved?
If George W. Bush had stated that there were 57 states in the United States , would you have said that he is clueless.
If George W. Bush would have flown all the way to Denmark to make a five minute speech about how the Olympics would benefit him walking out his front door in Texas , would you have thought he was a self important, conceited, egotistical jerk.
If George W. Bush had been so Spanish illiterate as to refer to “Cinco de Cuatro” in front of the Mexican ambassador when it was the 5th of May (Cinco de Mayo), and continued to flub it when he tried again, would you have winced in embarrassment?
If George W. Bush had misspelled the word “advice” would you have hammered him for it for years like Dan Quayle and potatoes as proof of what a dunce he is?
If George W. Bush had burned 9,000 gallons of jet fuel to go plant a single tree on Earth Day, would you have concluded he’s a hypocrite?
If George W. Bush’s administration had okayed Air Force One flying low over millions of people followed by a jet fighter in downtown Manhattan causing widespread panic, would you have wondered whether they actually get what happened on 9-11?
If George W.. Bush had failed to send relief aid to flood victims throughout the Midwest with more people killed or made homeless than in New Orleans, would you want it made into a major ongoing political issue with claims of racism and incompetence?
If George W. Bush had created the position of 32 Czars who report directly to him, bypassing the House and Senate on much of what is happening in America , would you have approved.
If George W. Bush had ordered the firing of the CEO of a major corporation, even though he had no constitutional authority to do so, would you have approved?
So, tell me again, what is it about Obama that makes him so brilliant and impressive? Can’t think of anything? Don’t worry. He’s done all this and much more in 34 months — so you’ll have another year to come up with an answer.

      • bp

        BRILLIANT V72!

      • Polly

One correction. Dan Quayle’s spelling error was “potato(e)” and I believe it was misspelled on the flash card he was holding.

Other than that, you are totally right!!

      • Buster the Anatolian

Actualy “potatoe” is a correct if archaic spelling in the US. I think “potatoe” is still sometimes used in the UK.

      • Demontia Addams

Not that I mean to nitpick …. but the O actually went further with his blunder of the 57 States he visited. If you would recall, just mere seconds after he stated 57 States, he told us he was denied visiting Alaska and Hawaii… plus he had one more to go. Maybe I’m wrong for assuming he meant one more state to visit …. but goin with his line of talk … dont think so ….So in total he believes we have 60 states … not 57 ….

      • JC

And he says things like Marine Cor”P”s…
        Class Act all around…

      • s c

d, I was about to remind you that you are a typical product of public education [a regurgitating, overpaid parrot], but your last sentence keeps you out of the toilet bowl – for now. Thanks for admitting that Obubba is (and I quote) “the Marxist, Kenyan, Socialist.”
You forgot to add that he also uses elements of fascism. You can call it corporatism if it makes you feel better, but it’s the same. If you’re not careful, bubba, you might get converted to a political and economic philosophy that actually works (when career strumpets don’t tamper with it) – and I DON’T mean your current style of utopianism.

      • bp

Denniso, what’s your point? Bush vs BHO is old news.

      • http://PersonalLibertyDigest Frank Johnsonf

I can’t believe someone has such limited intelligence as you. The country, led by Bush, reacted to the attack on the World Trade Center. Of course, we should have told them to stop doing things like that or else like Clinton which was very effective and brought us 911. nobama only after great hesitation, agreed to go after Bin Laden if it was NO RISK. He has done such a wonderful job with the ecnomy, jobs, foreign relations. He is totally clueless as are you.

      • bp

FJ: Not so sure that he doesn’t know EXACTLY what he’s doing; to lead the USA for the very purpose of destroying it, very diabolical! Nobody can be that stupid/ clueless & keep a straight face w/no shame.

Bush and Cheney did not spend trillions of our dollars. That is Obama and Biden. Bush and Cheney spent billions.

      • moonbeam

Eddie, “One big difference is that Obama is bringing this Iraq War to an end.”

The only reason he is doing that is to get his illegal alien self re-elected again. Never mind that according to our Constitution he has no right to sit in the oval office. His daddy was not a US citizen. Both parents but be US citizens if you want to be POTUS.

I know of no other president who went by one name as a kid (Barry Soetero) and quite another as an adult (Barack Hussein Obama), also not to mention the plethora of SSNs he has used. Everybody else only (legally) gets one and the one he is using now doesn’t pass the (eVerify) smell test. The guy is as fake as a $3 bill, obamacare and his insane tax…er…jobs program.

        http://www.examiner.com/finance-examiner-in-national/president-obama-has-own-job-issues-as-e-verify-system-rejects-his-ssn-as-valid

But, you knew this already, right Eddie?

      • eddie47d

Your too full of hate moonbeam to comprehend anything and yes there are a few kids or adults who have had more than one last name in their lifetime. Your bias is front and center being shown with a bright light and it is not God talking to you.

      • DaveH

So now Denniso, the guy who has whined many times in the past about “threats” on this site, is advocating for the killing in the Middle East and Africa because it is his guy ordering the killing? What a hypocrite. Don’t you love these Liberals whose morality changes depending on who’s in office?

      • DaveH
      • eddie47d

Why is Dave playing that tired old song. You more than anybody should know that it goes both ways. Reagan in Central America,Nixon in Vietnam,Bush’s in Iraq. Yes Johnson in Vietnam.

  • http://PersonalLibertyDigest John

Love your voices and sense of humor. You’re very well ready for the stage, TV and movies except for the near certainty of being blacklisted by all the tolerant liberals.

    • bob wire

I’m afraid they are not yet ready for “prime time”, not with making sport of peoples , names, titles and labels. Then too, there is this fascination with catatonic humor, bathroom humor associated with the bowel to be considered.

This is school yard fun and we have all witnessed or engaged in it or been a victim of it at sometime in our early forming years.

Most most Americans do grow up and become adults at some point. Then there is the exception of course, People that refused to grow up, refuse to take control of their thoughts and actions. They go though their days as they always have, reacting to one emotion after the other with the first thing that comes to mind while revealing their “lacking” to everyone.

Ben Crystal seems to draw them like flies. The only redeeming grace of it all is knowing such minds are harmless and offer no threat unless simply being immature and socially clumsy can be somehow used as a weapon.

      • Dntmkmecmoverther

I’m not sure where you intended to go with your slathered on eloquence, but all you did was show your ability to use large words. If you had a point you failed to make it. If you were demeaning Mr. Crystal, then you are just a buffoon with no sense of reality or humor (if that’s true, it sucks to be you).

If you were aiming at the louses whom Mr. Crystal uncovers and reveals as the most ignorant of those who walk upright (at least usually) you were not clear as to the object of your scorn.

As for humor, it’s what releases endorphins. That…is a good thing.

      • Karolyn

As I’ve said before, his 3 Stooges brand of humor went our a long time ago; but, yes, there are those who cling to those good memories of their youth and think Ben is funny. Seriously, I don’t get it, and I have a really good sense of humor. Just because I slant liberal doesn’t mean I can’t laugh at a really good joke; but I find myself totally devoid of even a smile when I watch Ben’s videos each week. And then there are people who put him on a par with Jon Stewart! If he were on par with Stewart, he’d have his own show too!

      • bob wire

“his 3 Stooges brand of humor ” LOL, Good observation Karolyn.

I never was a fan, but have known people who seem to really enjoy them. The humor always eluded me, the slaps, hits, strikes, the odd noises they enjoyed making I found alien to any behavior I had ever seen or known before. It simply was not funny in much the same way Don Rickles was never funny. ~ like~ WHAT???

Maybe that explains Mr. Crystal in a light I’ve not considered before.

      • Warrior
      • OB1

Did you ever watch the 3 stooges? If you did not, perhaps that’s your challenge, and I can help you:

Let’s start with this (the abc’s):

        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a_Y6UKMp8Qw

And then just for today, let’s try this (Crystal, there is extreme education in this post….):

        http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-opehtzq7Es

      • CaptTurbo

This kind of humor requires a higher threshold of intelligence then a liberal dolt possesses.

      • bob wire

Actually no, I’m a student of and have done character studies on “humorist” and what it is about humor that makes people laugh and the need for humor. I puzzle over such things as laughter.

My two favorites of all times were Samuel Clements and Will Rodgers for political humor. I’ve written essays on both of these colorful men from cradle to tomb.

Laughter is often a coping response. We can laugh at the absurdity of life. Perhaps that’s the appeal of the 3 stooges as I fail to see any irony there. I witness a woman break out in laughter when she seen a man get ran over by a train one day. I found it disturbing to witness both events, not sure which was the most disturbing.

Mr. Crystal has tapped a nerve that is common and shared by some like minds seem to be clear. But like Don Rickels, it’s not for mass consumption as it pushes boundaries of civility and is not some place most people would aspire to venture. It’s not uplifting or inspiring but rather a celebration in misery.

of course, that just one man opinion of which I’m entitled.

We have kings of comedy. Rodney Dangerfield was the King of the “Two Liner”, Jack Benny the king of “silent look”, George Burns, the king of the “Set UP Man”, Gracy Burns, the ” Queen of Ditts” that was always far ahead of you.

But I don’t know where Ben Crystal headed with his notions of humor unless it laughing at a train wreck.

It’s coping to laugh at the truth but all the embellishing of the truth removes the funny.

      • Salty Sam

If you like Mr. Crystals sense of humor about as much as a popcorn sandwitch, why do you keep coming back for more? No one is forcing you be here.

      • Suze649

You said you watch each week. Why?? If you find the show so beneath your brand of humor?

      • Vieteravet

Stop watching, as long as Obama doesn’t get a second term, it’s a free country!

      • Greg

Why do you keep coming here if you don’t like it.

      • bob wire

Why? I’m intrigued by what people think is funny
as we see here a strange brand.

I guess most here remember Souppy Sails? , stage props, content, dialog, delivery, topics, timing, crafted personalities, appearance all crafted to cater to a select audience.

Unfortunately an “open mic” did him in when he let his audience know what he really thought about them when he ended a show saying, “Okay! that should hold the little bastards”

Now, that is funny but it didn’t work well for Souppy. That Crystal would apologizes for his Liberal education and then use it to entertain you, I find most odd. There is just something disingenuous about it. Perhaps that’s the true irony that give it that Three Stooges nuance.

      • Karolyn

Why not? It’s a free country, and I am somewhat addicted to the discussions on this site. I find them educational, irritating, thoughyt-provoking, maddening and sometimes laughable.

      • Alex Frazier

Whatever label you assign to his humor, it is ironical in nature. I always get a good laugh out of at least one thing he has to say.

In this case, the irony of people protesting and destroying the lawn that tax payers will have to pay to replace, while at the same time noting that the destruction of the lawn means more jobs.

Or that they protest rich people, but receive donations to support a movement that doesn’t seem to have any real point to it, which has in turn turned them into a psuedo-corporation with excessive funds who ought to be protested by the merits of the protest itself.

I find that if someone doesn’t get his brand of humor, it’s because they don’t understand some of the ironies he’s pointing out. And that’s not an insult. Ignorance is what it is. Not everyone can be informed about everything.

      • Pam R

Hardly a smile when I watch his videos each week she says. But you do watch his videos don’t you. Can’t seem to stop watching. Go away and do something else you make me sick. Ben you rock.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        karolyn,
Oh I get it! you like the Eddie Murphy style of tell a joke using every piece of profanity known to man! Red Skelton used to keep people belly laughing for hours and never utter a profane word! There’s comedic entertainment and then there’s comedic ATTEMPT!! Mr. Crystal entertains!!

      • Erik

Yet, you watch every week, as you stated.
I guess you’re just here to troll. Perhaps you could entertain us with some more insight to New Jersey’s geography, as it pertains to a certain town on a certain river.

      • Buster the Anatolian

If you dislike the great 8 so much Karolyn why do you keep coming back for more?

      • gordon

If you slant liberal, you are liberal. John Stewart is a liberal thats why he has a TV show.

      • Ed Albers

Why do you watch each week? Are you some kind of masochist? I think you maybe more liberal than you realize!!

      • Christine

If you don’t think he’s funny why do you watch him “each week?” That’s stupid!

      • Justsaying

So Karolyn…then why do you “watch him every week” as you confess, if you find him so beneath your threshold of humor?
The one constant in Obama deluded dotes is your incessant condescension of anyone who points out the hypocrisy and the idiocy of Obama and his zombies.
As I’ve said many times, the combination of character flaws of people in power, or who lust to have power over others, most dangerous to society are the combinations of blithering ignorance combined with unfounded arrogance. You, dear Karolyn, like Obama and Biden, exemplify this combination profoundly.

      • eddie47d

Ben Crystal funny? Compared to what Kathy Griffin? Neither are truly funny for Ben is dry and desperate. Kathy is condescending and can be a complete moron too.

      • Jay

eddie, bob and Karolyn, you three should be setting the proper example, rather then letting a video render you to a form of behaviour indicative of a Republican! Really, how do you let Ben sucker you like that?

      • eddie47d

Because Ben is just too easy to ding. He sets himself up and is exposed everytime.

      • Jay

Ah yes, which came first, the chicken or the egg? Right, now i get ya!

      • bob wire

I was not aware that my “behavior” was the issue being addressed Jay. I
It seems that it is you who is attempting to change the focus and turn it around in some childish “Got’cha back” fashion.

My comment, as well as Karolyn and eddies are well in bounds.

I’m surly not being draw out if I elect to respond to something that I see as a “trend” in the attempting to be funny.

      • http://?? Joe H.

        Jay,
And eddie, karolyn, and bob say they don’t like the Three Stooges!!! Why do they emulate them so much, then???

      • bob wire

I would think your statement tells us more about you then it does us if you see some resemblance, as we were not great viewers while you clearly must have been.

Myself, I was most of a “Our Gang” which later became knows as the “Little Rascals” fan. I understood the fun and humor as it related to my world at the time. Darla was a dreamboat, Butch was the bullie, Spanky was little brother, Buckwheat was the pal that would always follow, Alpha, the love struck loser.

~ It was simple, clear and clean humor without all the constant physical assaults and verbal put downs demonstrated by the Three Stooges.

      • eddie47d

That must mean that Joe H loves Kathy Griffin.LOL

      • http://?? Joe H.

whats the matter, eddie? you desperately jealous???

      • eddie47d

Why would I be jealous of you Joe. You seldom make much sense.

      • DaveH

You sure use that word “desperate” a lot, Eddie.
“dry and desperate”, says Eddie. What, Eddie, are you reminiscing about your futile flirting attempts at your local bar?

      • moonbeam

        LOL!!!

      • http://?? Joe H.

        DaveH,
Don’t knock eddies dating attempts. From what I hear, he uses his grand kid as his “wing man”!!!

      • Buster the Anatolian

For people who claim they cannot stand him Bob, eddie, and Krystal sure spend a lot of time watching and trying to put Ben down.

      • eddie47d

Hey Buster I haven’t watched Ben’s Saturday’s attempt at comedy for 3 months now. It just isn’t worth the effort in all his silliness. Yesterday I decided to give it another crack but only got the usual disappointment.I see Dave is still trying to perfect his put downs and name calling. I hope he never takes his “show” on the road either.

      • Buster the Anatolian

I would prove you wrong eddie but I dont have the energy to look it up after splitting wood all day.

      • bp

Ironic humor must be over your head, bw!

      • Vieteravet

They’re liberals, they don’t get it!

      • bob wire

Is that what it is? Ironic? The product of Irony? Are you sure?

I thought notions of irony had so depth to them?

      • Alex Frazier

        Well said bp.

      • Moe Eaton

BW-Thank God Almighty that he only allows 20% of U.S. legal, voting citizens to be fleabagging liberals who live in some unreal Utopia where you believe you are in the majority & are destined to rule the rest of us. What a shock for you come Nov. 2012. Only then will you see just how “harmless” & “no threat” we really are…..you will not know what hit you!! Nov. 2010 was just a warm up pitch!!

      • bob wire

Well Moe, I do believe it will be a hard fought race regardless of who wins. ~ But I believe that you sense a ground swell that simply will not be there in numbers you expect and find you “wishful”

And I am not addressing everyone right of center with my remarks for I too can be found there.

I address this noisy, insidiously crass and constituency condescending, debasing and demonizing bunch that sees the “only” way to ascend to the top is to bring any opposition down with lies, embellished half truths and innuendos.

    • bp

“tolerant liberal” is an oxymoron, John!

      • bob wire

a “tolerant extreme radical” even more so.

But I question if you know the meaning of tolerance where it apples to other. ~for if you did, why the display of hatred and bias I see here. Maybe not you “bp” but by Ben Crystal and the many sheepeoples that follow him.

Does this term “flea bag” come from any virtues of tolerance?

Is it not you who enjoys decent but only if you are the one decenting .

Decent is not acceptable by others.

This concludes your lesson in “Tolerance” for today.

      • Mike

Bob Wire – You present yourself as well-read so I will help you maintain the illusion by giving you one suggestion. Use the word “dissent” (the word you should have used) instead of “decent”. You seem to be a “decent” guy even if you are a liberal Obama lover. Just learn to appreciate how we dissent without you getting so high and mighty.

      • bob wire

Thanks for the correction Mike. ~

For the record, ~ I sure don’t love anyone on capital hill much less the President. I don’t use the word that loosely so why need you in my stead?

I’m not attempting to fill in as an defense attorney for the president.

Attorneys lie and tend stretch and embellish the facts.

      • Jay

bw, ever considered switching vocations? Personally, i think you would make a fine attorney!

      • bob wire

Hmm? Allow me to ask you, if you found yourself heavily compromised and being subjected to your “rights” to a trial for manslaughter with malice, would you wish I adapt the role of defense or prosecution?

    • http://?? Joe H.

      John,
I think the word you wanted was INTOLERANT. I have never met a tolerent libby!!!

      • eddie47d

You must not get out much.

      • bob wire

I was under the impression that many conservatives considered Liberals as tree huggers, anti-gun, anti-war, cowards, pinko’s while socially too tolerant to individual freedoms and liberties.

That we see today the rank and file ‘GOP support the use of the ‘filibuster and partisan politics’ to not even allow bills to come to the floor for an open hearing on their merits doesn’t sound much like any “tolerances” that I’m familiar with.

That we have laws already on the books addressing Pro Life and Pro Choice and it recognized as “Law”, all of these current and on going efforts to changes these laws doesn’t sound like “Tolerance” to me.

That GOP governors have restricted selected voters access to the polls, adding more paper work, more identification documents above and beyond what is already in place, and going so far as to close polling place down in heavily known democratic districts fails to display much in the way of “Tolerance” as I understand tolerance to be implied.

Tolerance is what you are “willing to stand still for”.

Was it Goldwater that said, “fanaticism is a virtue if it’s in defense of liberty” ? (or something to that effect)

Does that sound like “Tolerance” to you? Was Goldwater a Liberal?

      • http://?? Joe H.

        bob,
I’m speaking in present tense not past!!

      • Karolyn

Joe – I’d have to say the same for conservatives. I am afraid to voice my opinions with conservatives because they either give me the cold shoulder or get pissed off, especially when I tell them I differ with their religious belief. I had one, a friend of mine (who is more tolerant than many, tell me I’d better keep my opinions to myself “around here.” One who is not a conservative Christian hereabouts has to tread lightly.

      • http://?? Joe H.

Don’t worry Karolyn, I’m sure youe space ship will be there to pick you up on schedual!! See, I’m real tolerant!!!

  • Johnshelley

    STOP HUSSEIN OBAMA.

  • JC

Reid says it’s more important to protect “government jobs” which goes to show that not only is he a complete statist…but a complete idiot as well. What does he think pays for those government jobs…other government jobs?
Our system of government has not “lost its way” so much as gone completely insane.

Good work as always Ben. :)

    • Warrior

More gubmint workers = more potential democreeps. I say the bowl is full and it needs to be flushed. Very soon in fact.

      • Christin

        Warrior,

        Exactly!

Is there a bowl big enough or do we just keep flushing one by one until the jobs done… _?_ times… let’s see 435 Congress (Reid first), WH leaders, 45 unelected czars, 22 assistants to michelle…

    • Christin

      JC,

“What does he think pays for those gov jobs” … the enslaved middle class and “foreign investments (debt)”.

      • JC

Exactly. But there is a bigger wheel turning here…
Well educated, successful, affluent and armed people who think they’re free, don’t fit very well into the New World Order.
So they must be gotten rid of.
The Kenyan is merely a “tool” of this effort.
Him, and the Federal Reserve have go to go!

      • Christin

        JC,

        Absolutely.

(Kinda of odd… they want to get rid of us so they can proceed with their evil plans… and we must get rid of them to survive in freedom.)

  • CAL

    We still.don’t get it.
