Oh yeah!! 4000 units that should just launch government motors right into the record books! The american citizen just lost billions on the amount they DID NOT pay back from the TARP. If they sell a whole bunch more they might even tie the record for the number of Yugo’s sold in the 80′s.

    • Donald

      No one lost “billions”.

  • Robert Underwood

First they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win! Looks like Occupy Wall Street is moving out of phase two into phase three…. phase four is inevitable!

    • Donald

      Who are “they”?

  • Airangel

I think I’m on the fence..I agree with some of the claims I’ve heard from Occupy Wallstreet about the Government bailouts of Banks and the Auto Industry and Solyndra…They should have been like Ford, found their own way without the bailouts. That makes me want to support Ford all the more! Companies like GE need to also pay taxes. I don’t think the tax bracket need adjusting but the tax code needs simplified so Government gets revenue from these companies and does not get jilted by the loop holes. The lobbyist and special interest have to get out of Government. Our elected representatives need to run on their own merit and raise money the old fashioned way to prove who’s really in it to win it for the People!

As for the rest, me or my family should not have to work 2-3 jobs to have taxes taken from our paychecks to pay for everyone elses kids…why should I pay for someone that sleeps around and has 5 different kids with 5 fathers simply so they can have a promiscous lifestyle on the Government dime and then the children go through Foster programs (another Government entity), then into Public Education, then as adults they get their own Section 8 housing, Welfare checks, utility checks, foodstamps, etc…and voila, we are raising generations of welfare incompetent, non-productive, non-innovative citizens (unless you count drug runners, gangs and prostitution productive)

Don’t have kids if you can’t afford them! Plan for a family, plan for education…it is not Governments responsibility to raise everyones children or every countries children…

Steve Jobs started Apple in his gargage and became rich but also created thousands of jobs as his business took off and the world benefitted from his product…did he not deserve to reap the reward of his innovasion, ideas and hard work to become successful? Then he went on to Pixar to make movies like “CARS”…again we all benefitted from his entreprenuial spirit…we can not stifle that opportunity to pursue what you want – that is Freedom…the opportunity to try..it’s not a guarantee but a possibility…that will never happen with Government choking the life out of business development and innovation as long as they keep enabling the population to be dependent on Government rather than their own abilities to be the best they can be!

I’m all over but it’s more complex than left or right…it’s right vs. wrong.

    • Les

The bail outs were done to use your money to fix the damage the Federal Government did to the banks by forcing them to make loans to people they knew couldn’t pay them back. This allowed the Federal Government to step in and create more control. It’s the same thing going on all over the place. You scratch my back and I scratch yours. The only thing that reaaaaalllllyyyy sucks is that this is done with my money.

Next step is to get these morons to protest all over the place so that the Federal Government can declare Marshal Law and then declare Congress & the Constitution null and void. All the pieces are in place. The list have been made and either you are on the A list or B list. There are several articles on this and we all know about the COG (Continuity Of Government) plan.

      • dwright77

Reply to Les…..I pray your are wrong. I’m very concerned that you may be right.

      • julie

Les is right somehow. Think Reagan fixed the budget deficit in 89-90 by pushing the button on veteran’s spouse benefits and widow with dependents benefits…about $74,000 each person taken at his whim for the economical decline. Now it would be good if 5% of corporate millionaires paid to fix the budget and returned monies to the widows and to the jobless this year. It can and should happen. Its just a little kinder the way abouts today.

      • Les

Remember “Never let a crisis got to waste”? Well it’s a lot easier when you manufacture them too to meet your version of reality.

Socialism works really great until you run out of everyone else’s money. Unless of course the end state isn’t socialism at all. Now doesn’t that just make you go hmmmmmm as you look at all the “Secret ” events you Federal Government minions. After all they are a lot smart than you and I and need to be in charge.

      • Les

should say “events Your Federal Government minions create.

      • Donald

How did the Government “force” them to do this? Also did the Government tell the banks to tell the borrowers not to worry about what they put down on their mortgage applications. No! It was the banks. It was also the banks that hired a bunch of untrained workers to sign off on foreclosure documents under a variety of titles. Let’s face it, the banks have been dishonest. That’s why folks are marching in New York and around the country. They want honest business practices.

Very well said and good job putting that lib back in their place. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

    • MaryB

I could not hear it either for the awful and annoying LOUD sound effects. Very poorly done.

I do agree with Airangle re: Occupy. It is not about just one issue – people need to feel they are doing SOMETHING besides writing to Congress and being ignored. (The only response I ever got from any of them was regarding AntiBullying.. hmmm.) I am supporting USPS by actually writing to them too. My letters probably get filed in the round cabinet…… :-(

      • dwright77

Reply to MaryB…..Your correct that just righting to your elected officials is not enough. Be sure at every election you vote and attend town hall meetings if they have them in your area and let your voice be heard. Also, look at whatever active organizations are available in your area that share your beliefs. For example, if you are a Christian, and/or a conservative, look go on their website (Tea Party for example) to find if there is a local group. If you are otherwise, look for whatever group closely reflects your values. Good luck.

  • Bill Wright

I hope we find some one better to run for President than what we have now,and I’m not talking about just the Demo’s.but both parties.(in my opinion) I find none of these people who are running for the office, very good.I will not vote for any bastard, that proimses me things that i know dam well i s bad for the country.I’ve seen enough out of these people for the last fifty +years, their out of control programs,Welfare ,foodstamps,Obrotions((that have killed millions of Babies)This contry has been bitten itself in the ass for the last half century, with few exceptions. Now we wonder why theres more old people than young in this country.

  • baaarb@gmail.com

What I think is funny is the pictures of protestors checking Facebook status on expensive laptops. Don’t they think Mark Z is evil? He makes more money than Soros. These kids have no common sense or critical thinking skills. Half of them don’t even know what they are protesting. Part of the problem is that we, on the right, just write them off as idiots, while those on the left engage and/or recruit them as mindless puppets. Isnt buying laptops (or having parents buy laptops) making the rich evil computer Mongols even richer?

Maybe I’m showing my age but the “Occupy group” looks like the ’60-’70′s group that protested the Vietnam war, and “Establishment “as a whole. Do you remember “Don’t trust anyone over 30!”?

    • pdlane

Re: The Vietnam Protests… I remember them well as I was one of the protesters…. I just hope these protests do not take 10 years to produce results. And…Yes…. I will be joining the protests in DC this afternoon.

        dwright77 –Yeah!! YOU!!

      • http://naver samurai

If you are going to join the protests in Washington, good job! I must disagree with you on the Vietnam protesters. Since they were backed by the libs of the time and supported Jane Fonda and her actions. My father and uncle both went to Vietnam for 3 tours each. I asked my father when he retired in 1987 about Vietnam. He told me that if it were still going on, he would go back and help to finish the mission. Now there is a hard core military man. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Karolyn

Well, I know a lot of Vietnam vets who believe it waws a big waste of time and lives! Big deal – “hard core military man” – They’re the ones like the powers in the Pentagon who love war! Why wouldn’t they? Without it, they have no life!

      • http://naver samurai

Who the h*** are you to talk about someone that has done more for this country, also knows what freedom really is, than you have? You have never done anything except sit on your fat backside and moan, groan, bitch, and complain all your life. FYI my father didn’t like fighting and killing, but he believed in completing the mission. Every military leader (NCO and officer) will tell you “the mission comes first.” So what is your problem? Didn’t mommy and daddy hug you enough when you were a kid? Also, how can you say such crap to me or my father? We have put our lives on the line protecting you from 1955 – 2005, so as far as I’m concerned, you should tell us thank you and just go away. You are a waste of time.

      • Kate8

Large numbers of military men come home wounded and maimed in both body and mind. Many never recover, especially from the horrors of war.

They go into the military believing in the goodness of America, and the justice of their mission. Somewhere along the way, disillusionment and futility often set in. They come home in ruins after giving their all for their country, only to find that their country no longer has much use nor respect for them. Their lives have been destroyed for a country that is crumbling under its own corruption.

To denigrate these men and women is the ultimate slap in the face. These are the best and the bravest. When the time comes that they are all the defense we have against the greatest evil ever known, you’d better hope there are still enough of them left who remember their sworn duty to protect and defend…YOU.

You goofed Ben. The Volt sold 700 in September for a total of 4,400 for the year. Still not a very good amount. The 2 people I know who bought a Volt have nothing but complaints about them. One returned the car.

4,495 Volts have been sold. Hefty price tag.

It’s amazing how the far left (Moore, Pelosi, main street media, etc.) have praised the “New York Protesters” as revolutionaries and mocked the Tea Party. Tea Party protesters are peaceful, conservative and America loving people while hundred’s of liberal protesters have been arrested in New York. New York protesters are dirty, vile, foul-loud mouthed, demonic protesters. If there was any question before about the morals of those in power and/or of influence who support these people, there shouldn’t be now. Politicians who support them should be voted OUT in 2012. They are demonic (as Ann Coulter’s Book alludes to). The main stream media and MSNBC should be boycotted by ALL conservative, Christian loving Americans and our children should be taught at home not to listen to them or the liberal professors who teach our children (liberal, social immorality)in colleges and universities across the nation but hold to the conservative and Christian values that are taught at home by parents and stand up peacefully, respectfully and firmly for those values even when its unpopular.

they were in Phila this past week at City Hall. A reporter said to one of the people who appeared to be somewhat involved in the organization of the rally, why are you not at the Comcast Center if you’re opposition to corp. America/wall street? no coherent answer of course. My thought as I was listening to these useful idiots, hey Comcast is BO big fundraising corp partner. Everyone knows that, obviously not the idiots down there using all the tech. that comes from corp america. hey I don’t like the BS from corp america either, but, the anger is misdirected. Lobbyist 10,000 strong within 1 sq mile of the Capitiol asking favors everyday from our Public Servants down there in the District of Corruption, WHY ?? Bkz our elected politicians owe them for their contributions to their campaigns, and BHO ran one of the MOST expensive campaigns ever. $750 million in 08, and much with the help of Wall Street. In 2012 it’ll be over 1BILLIION Now that’s alot of favors folks. Not saying republicans don’t take money too, JUST SAYING THAT’S A PROBLEM THE FACT THAT CORP. AMERICA IS IN BED WITH THE POLITICIANS. You know Hitler who supposedly hated capitalism, knew to use them to break down his enemys so he could move forward with his agenda. Then he got rid of the standing establishment in Germany and made his way onward to his hostile takeover of Germany. Once he had the power you know the rest I think. But, the German people were not about that which Adolf Hitler was after. However, it was too late once he had his power to do as he wished. History shows us that the Rule of Law can’t and shouldn’t be ever compromised. Today that’s exactly what we have going on.

First time I was sent this site and it will be the last… Goose stepping with the Mega rich at the expense of the common person is anit American. Get your fact straight… The Volt sold 4000 units thus far.

I need a bumper sticker for my 2010 Chrysler van that says: “Imported from Detroit.” I will be loyal to American-named cars, regardless if they have foreign parts. “Buy American” means a lot to me.

      • peskytruth

Then buy from Ford, a company that was not subsidized off the backs of the taxpayer!

      • Airangel

Exactly! I respect and admire the heck out of Ford! Let’s support the the first automakers and still strong in America! I buy Sears too, Craftsmen and Black and Decker…Made in the USA! Support America whenever you can…Supply and demand keeps Americans working and more American products stocked on shelves…NOT “made in China”…I always let my grocers know what I prefer stocked if they don’t carry it in the store then I tell my family and friends to do the same. If we all start, the American companies have to start hiring to keep up with demand and buyers stop ordering as much from overseas…they always replace the products that are selling…Let it be the American ones! Go with local credit unions not Big Banks like citi. I am against the debit card fees they want to charge! People can drive change in a positive way. We just have to be smart about it and dedicated to it!

      • http://deleted Claire

Airangel- I will always buy “Made in the U.S.A.” products until the day I die. If I am looking for a certain product and it is made in China or any other country I will not buy it. I had to buy a dog crate a few months ago, went to Petsmart, found the correct size but it was made in China. I told the clerk I would not buy it and went to the other pet store, found one that was made in the U.S. and I bought it. It is tough to find products that are made in the U.S. but if a person looks hard enough they can find them.

      • dwright77

Reply to Airangel…..Couldn’t agree with you more! Buy American.

      • http://deleted Claire

I have purchased cars from GM for 50 years. As a taxpayer I am well aware my money helped bail out GM. Since I had no say in the bailout, it is on this basis that I will continue to buy from GM–Why would I want my money to go totally down the drain? Even if Ford had received a bailout-I would support them and buy a car from them. I do not want to see the U.S. auto industry fail.

      • dwright77

        Amen!

      • Karolyn

Have you heard about the 3 mil jobs that are coming back to the US from overseas? Saw it on the news the other day. Chinese wages are going up and transportation costs too much. If each American spent on $3 per week more on Made in USA, it would create hundreds of thousands of jobs. Sorry I don’t recall the exact number and can’t find it, but it is a lot.

General Motors insists it will sell 10,000 Chevrolet Volts in the U.S. by the end of this year, but as of now, the numbers don’t look good.

By the end of August, the last time GM publicly announced its sales, about 3,500 Volts had been sold. To reach 10,000, GM will need to average about 1,700 Volts per month for the last four months of the year.

In August, GM sold 300 gasoline/electric Volts. Meanwhile, Nissan sold over 1,300 of its all-electric Nissan Leaf that month. In fact, the Leaf was the fourth best-selling of all alternative fuel vehicle that month, including hybrids and diesel cars, according to Intellichoice.com.

September Volt sales will be revealed Monday when GM reports its monthly sales tally.

Not to worry, GM spokesman Rob Peterson said.

“I don’t see any problem with reaching our goal,” he said.

The reason he gives is that GM’s Detroit factory is still just clearing its throat. The real show starts now.

Up to now, the Volt has been available for sale in only seven test markets including New York, California and GM’s home state of Michigan. Even so, Volts have found homes in all 50 states including Alaska and Hawaii, said Peterson. Some people can’t wait for them to be available in their own states. They want the cars so badly they’re buying them and shipping them across oceans and continents.

Now, GM is getting ready to sell the Volt at 2,600 Chevrolet dealers across all 50 states and getting geared up for that has meant drawing Volt sales down to a trickle, he said.

First, GM closed the Detroit factory where the Volt is built for four weeks to upgrade it so it can turn out Volts faster.

That extra production capacity was needed because, in addition to selling across the U.S., the Volt will also go on sale in Europe and Asia. In all, GM expects to sell 16,000 Volts by the end of this year, a figure that includes a Europe-only version called the Opel Ampera.

Every one of them will be built in Detroit.

Once production started again in mid-August, the first priority was getting so-called demo units to dealerships so they could demonstrate the products and give test drives. That left only about 300 cars to sell to customers in August, Peterson said.

Bottom line, he said, GM is still selling every Volt it can build. It just needs to build more.

The plant is capable of producing 600 Volts a week, Peterson said, or roughly 2,400 cars a month.

If demand turns out to be weaker than expected, said Mike Omotoso, an analyst with J.D. Power and Assoc., GM may take steps to strengthen sales to make sure they hit its number.

“If they’re way below their target in a month or two, they could ramp up incentives on the Volt,” he said.

The Volt is already eligible for a $7,500 federal tax credit, which brings its effective base price down to about $32,500. Also, it’s available at a relatively low lease rate of about $350 a month.

Phil Gott, an industry analyst with IHS Global Insight, agrees with Peterson that the Volt’s current lagging sales status is no indication that demand for the car is flagging. Still, he said, it also doesn’t mean the ultimate demand for the car is that huge, either.

“What’s the demand for a $35,000 compact car with a Chevrolet badge on it?” Gott wondered aloud. “It’s not all that great.”

Regardless of sales numbers, the Volt is already doing solid work for GM, Peterson said.

“Of the initial batch of Volt owners, about half hadn’t stepped into a Chevy dealership in eight years,” he said. “A third never had.”

That means the Volt is drawing new customers into Chevrolet showrooms.

“I’ve heard that some Chevy dealers are using the Volt to get people into showrooms and using it to sell the Cruze,” said Omotoso. “It’s almost half the price of the Volt and it gets great fuel economy.”

The Chevrolet Cruze also happens to be the best-selling compact car in America. So even if the Volt doesn’t turn out to be a great seller, it seems to be a good salesman.

Latest sales figures are out for the Volt. 723 units sold in september 2011 and about 3900 units sold YTD. chevy is going to miss its target of 10,000 Volts in 2011. Maybe the problem is that the year is too short.

      Coinguy1945 at 1:11 PM October 03, 2011
This car is not selling because its made by socialist goverment run company and the American white people will not stand anymore for following the will of Omammy. It is also poorly made like any goverment project. GM should of been allowed to go bankrupt to serve the union bosses what they deserve.

BS 700 so far and GM is in big trouble. $40,000.00 cars that look like golf carts and this current adm had to make GM give rebates to sell those. I also like the idea of that large chuck of $ going to the electric car to be built Sweden or ?? o’k I forget, but, you know al gore’s baby – 2billion to build cars that’ll cost $80,000.00 over seas? We’re paying for it?

    • denniso

The big difference between the tea party protesting and this ‘occupy’ movement? Much of the tea party groups used the obvious threat of violence,w/ their shiny, loaded guns slung over their shoulders like pretend clint eastwoods or johnny waynes. Most of their meetings early on, and still, are peppered w/ violent language and implied threats against their ‘enemies’.These protesters are engaging in peaceful protest and trying to make the point that the working class and poor are losing out to the largest redistibution of income to the top few percent in our history.

      • dwright77

Trial by Media is treason when it comes to tricking the people into ill advised war & occupation.

When is the last time Faux News was actually courteous to a 9/11 truther – or an Anti-Zionist Jew [has Faux News EVER given a fair hearing, any national airing AT ALL to an Anti-Zionist Jew?]

Just because something is on the internet does not in itself make it true – but from there you have a chance to check out what the Lamestream duopoly of deception does NOT tell you – or more accurately, they whisper the truth and scream the lie. That is, if you hear it once – like how there were 3 to 5 shooters at Ft. Hood during the killing sprere – that is mostly something of merit. My, what a “COINCIDENCE” the ONLY shooter they caught just so HAPPENED to be a Muslim!

      • peskytruth

Lying is your main gambit. You can’t prove your violence allegations against the tea party – more B.S. from the habitually lying left.

But, yes, our 2nd amendment rights do protect us against a fascist/ communist or any other kind of dictatorship government. So we will let fascists/communists like you, Obummer, Soros, Moore and Baldwin understand we will resist with armed revolution if need be.

Obummer is a de facto dictator. He uses edicts and regulations he invents out of whole cloth and are not laws passed by the legislature to destroy our republic, liberties and the rule of law. We will resist!

We will resist if Obummer declares martial law and attempts to suspend elections.

      • denniso

Hey there Petty,I mean Pesky…you and others like you are clearly just delusional, and are transferring to Obama your pent up anger and frustration from your forced support of Bush(loyalty to your leaders neing of paramount importance)who took us further down the road toward a police state than anyone since your buddies Nixon and J Edgar Hoover, good Republicans that they both were. We people able to think clearly do feel your pain and suffering.

      • F86

The only threat to you is yourself with a weapon.

      • http://naver samurai

Pesky, just never mind F86 and duhnniso. They were dropped on their heads when they were born. You know, the doctor got ready to catch them when they were coming out, but dropped them because he had butter fingers. Why don’t you 2 go somewhere else. I hear there is room at the Huffington Post or USA Today. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • tom seay

Would you stop calling the tea party a bunch of gun slingers already??? I’ve been to 10 or so TP rallies, and they do not for a second promote violence, hatred, contempt, or the like. If someone comes to a TP event with that intention, they will be asked to leave. Maybe if you would attend an event or 2 or 10, you’ll see that. We are NOT gunslinging Clint Eastwoods or ‘Johnny Waynes.’ We simply stand for less government, fiscal responsibility, lower taxes, and economic freedom. You seem to want to ignore that!!!!

      • denniso

I’ve been to events w/ tea party people…I’ve seen video clips of teap aprty people. No,all of them are not violent, but I’ve watched and heard many who are…shout down other spekers, threaten armed revolution, like the guy above this post, use incendiary language, call those who disagree w/ them communists, marxists, socialists, traitors, enemies, unpatriotic…
Why would tea party folks feel the need to show off their loaded weapons in public? They are dumb enough to not realize that we know they are mostly legal as things stand now?

      • dwright77

Reply to denniso…..Again you are badly mistaken. There is RARELY any violence at Tea Party events in contrast to Liberal events such as the New York mob-fest. This is an appropriate term due to the number of arrests that has been made in New York a liberal state!

      • Jibbs

How about those union longshoreman dirupting rail traffic and breaking down private fences? How about the union electrician that shot the non-union business owner?

      • F86

There have no incident of violence by the Occupy protesters. None.

      • http://naver samurai

Well, if you are affraid, then lock your door and don’t come out.

“A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.”

        2nd Amendment, U.S. Constitution

If they are bearing arms, then I trust they are legal and have all the proper paperwork in order. If not, then the police would have been busy arresting people, right? You talk about arms, how about Hitlery Clinton and the U.N. Small Arms Treaty? This is a gross violation of our God given rights under the 2nd Amendment. Why would they wish to give the U.N. any say over whether we own weapons or not? I know you will not answer these questions, but don’t leave me here listen to crickets chirping in the background. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • well iLL tell ya

Yea But it sounds better to them if they can call TP names that gives them support so they don’t look stupid in what they believe in. most are being paid by UNIONS to make TP functions sound out of bounds with the gun slinging. when its union abusing their power through HUGE donations to the candidate they can controll

      • johnk

Actually, you are the one who looks pretty stupid since Union boss Hoffa has explicitly threatened the TP. The Unions are backing anything that is Obama.

      • F86

You are merely minnions of the Koch bros, Dick Armey, and Karl Rove.

      • http://DoULoveJesus.Wordpress.com Mark Dabney

so long as the guns are not employed in a threatening manner – what is the problem with exercising the 2nd amendment? Here in Georgia there may be exclusions of political rallies for the open bearing of arms – but given how the police have on occasion gotten out of hand – so long as the bearing of arms is properly contained in a moral context – why should that be a problem?

      • Jibbs

Do you know the difference between, you and a fence post?
        The fence post is useful.

      • F86

Well Mr. Fence post, you are good for pounding in the dirt, seeing’s how you have a heartbeat and all.

      • http://naver samurai

Classic lib, gay loving, baby killing, marxist tactic. Don’t know anything, so you result to threats. Shows how less intelligent you and your ilk really are. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Shibamom

That’s funny…I haven’t heard of one Tea Party member being arrested for violence. Those that brought guns to rally’s obviously lived in states that allow their citizens to carry and they are simply exercising their 2nd amendment rights. They leave the place clean, do not incite violence, and do not shout obscenities as you accuse. These “people” involved in the “Occupy” BS are a bunch of wayward souls (slugs) that have never been taught by their parents that they need to work in order to become successful. They think that YOU and I OWE them a living. Have you read their demands???? A few are: Completely open borders (WTF??); ALL debt (mortgages, student loans, etc.) forgiven; confiscation of all guns; the destruction of capitalism and the converstion to communism, etc. This is disturbing because it is VERY obvious that these kids are being used. They have NOT been taught the dangers of socialism/communism in school or by their parents. Their protest completely mirrors the agenda of none other that Obama! Well, for what it’s worth…I like the America I grew up in. I hate what it has become today with a bunch of sniveling whiners that have no skills, no motivation, no morals, and absolutely zero care about anyone but themselves. If this is what you want then why don’t you go and gather all those lost souls and go somewhere where you can experience the utopia you are all looking for. You know like Cuba, China, etc. You get the picture!! All the Tea Party wants is the return of the robust, self sufficient United States of America that we all have made our lives in…as FREE people. And trust me, under this and the previous administration, we currently are NOT as free as we would like to think we are.

You are a useful idiot. Full of lies. You’ve never been to a Tea Party Rally or talked with folks in the movement. You must have skin in the game or are a young american who has been brainwashed by your liberal edu. in the unionized public schools. You lack the reasoning power to exercise your voting power with intelligence or perspective. You have bought into False liberal bromides promoted as fact and our nation keeps buying into a system of gvt that must fail. It’s only when the latest Liberal Failures occur that the mentally deficient realize that it is ruining their lives and opportunities do they react and vote out Liberals. This will happen again and the cycle will begin anew. It is too bad that the people can’t figure out that the politicians win and the people loose. Do you really think any other scenario will happen as long as their are closed minded people like you out there?

      • http://deleted Claire

Tea party? I have attended two of them and will not go to another. Where I live, the tea parties here are geared towards Republicans only, RINOs. They are a waste of my time. I will make up my own mind about the issues and whom to vote for.

      • http://naver samurai

That’s good that you make up your mind of what or who to vote for Claire. I told that to Sook Young last year. She looked over pamphlets for various candidates for local, state, and federal elections. Not all Tea Party meetings are bad. The meetings we attend here are peaceful and tend to stick to the ideals of the Tea Party. If you ever come to Elkhart, Indiana, we can go to one and I hope it would change you mind about some of the Tea Party meetings. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

        denniso,
Using your analogy, that would make you one of the 3 little pigs. Which one are you? I’d give even money you’re one of those that feed at the public trough & expect that when your house blew down, that every one “owed” you a new house with all the bells & whistles.

      • Les

The house they’re in doesn’t get blown down in a storm, it gets completely trashed by the fools that are in it and THEN they expect it to be upgraded to a better model. Funny how people that sit on their butts for generations now expect cost of living adjustments like they are actually productive members of society.

        ROTFLMAO

I’d be willing to bet that more than 1/2 of the deluded people here, like you guys, have worked for gov’t or in careers supported or subsidized by one or another levels of gov’t. It’s a typical pattern among many rightwing zealots…work in a gov’t job your whole life, then bitch and moan about the evil gov’t when you retire. It’s simple hypocrisy.

Sounds good for you as this must be an endless supply of food for you. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Kate8

Stuff it, denniso. You want to talk about death threats? How about the threat to Americans who oppose Obama and Co. Since he now claims the right to take out anyone of his choosing, including American citizens, who’s the bigger threat? It’s okay for him to threaten us, and it’s not even veiled.

Ron Paul has warned that journalists could be next. Well, guess what? They’ve already been targeting journalists, for some time now. The media just doesn’t report it. Christopher Story comes immediately to mind. Many others fear for their lives, and know their time is short.

In fact, there have been countless assassinations by your icons…Willy and Hilly swatted them like flies. Many dignitaries, witnesses, microbiologists…have all met with unfortunate accidents and sudden death. This is exactly what happened in Germany. A few at a time…no one cared too much. After all, it didn’t affect them…By the time Jews and Christians were being rounded up and sent to the ovens, hardly anyone cared at all. As long as it wasn’t them…

Even now, no one is willing to hear this stuff. So many taboo subjects these days…don’t want to hear it. Try to talk about what’s going on the subject gets changed real quick.

Wait until they come for you.

      • denniso

You’ve lost your mind completely! Obama is going after journalists?? Where in holy hell do you come up w/ this crap? You have become,or maybe always have been, totally delusional! Take a vacation and clear your foggy mind.

      • Kate8

denniso – Do you really not pay attention to anything? You are really so comfortable in your delusion that you just don’t need to open your eyes?

When you don’t like what someone says, you just ridicule. Is that really all you’ve got?

        http://www.opposingviews.com/i/politics/2012-election/ron-paul-journalists-next-government-assassination-targets

Oh, and I also just read where there is a bill to make “offending” someone online a crime.

I wonder if that will apply to the likes of you, or only to conservatives.

      • http://naver samurai

First, lose the attitude duhnniso. That’s not the way to talk to a lady. Second, there is nothing holy about hell. Get your facts straight. Third, remember that since this administration is facist/socialist like, they will go after journalists that are against what they stand for or who have different opinions. Neeeeed to read your history more, not the revised history either. Neeeeed to also get some psychological help and attend anger management classes every week (This is the advice of my wife.). FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • denniso

Because you read something ‘somewhere’ you automatically think it’s true? There is a movement to make it a crime to bully a kid online,if it leads to suicide of the kid. If bullies do that in person it can also lead to charges against the bullies. No difference. Maybe you’re in favor of bullying kids to the point of suicide?

      • http://naver samurai

No, I’m not in favor of that duhnniso. But for things like this to stop takes 2 good, loving, caring parents to work with the child, school, and other kid’s parents to nip this thing in the bud. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • http://naver samurai

Why don’t you do the same moron? You always post things that are never backed up with sources or facts. Just the same old lies, rhetoric, and innuendo. Obama bin Laden does need to be impeached (Will it happen? Yes? No?) or be tried for treason. You and eyes wide shut (More like glued shut by lib rhetoric and beliefs) are nothing more than 2 inflamed boils on the buttocks of this country. In which, both of you need to be surgically removed. That is not a threat, just an observation. Now you 2 can holds hands and rebury your heads in the sand. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • denniso

Your tone makes you sound like you worship the devil(pretend though he is)rather than a kind, loving god…do you also pretend to follow Jesus? Your obvious anger, bitterness and vitriol don’t make you sound like a desciple of his.

      • denniso

Do you ‘turn the other cheek’??Do you think your Jesus would tell you to only help those who you judge to be worthy of it,and to denigrate and demonize fellow humans who you think are worthless?

Your ‘God and country’ mantra is so phony and hypocritical when we look at what you say in your posts.

      • Kate8

denniso – This, coming from you, who uses ridicule and denigration to try to marginalize anyone who doesn’t “think” (I use that term loosely) like you?

You have a lot of nerve attempting to use Jesus to make a point. You know nothing of what He taught.

      • http://naver samurai

OMG! Thank you for accurately describing yourself duhnniso! See, I knew you would come out and tell the truth one day. Yes I am a Christian and believe in God and Jesus. I also do realize I have a lot to answer for, so that’s why I pray everyday for forgiveness of the dumb things I do, also for people like you. I was raised in the ‘church’. I read the bible so I can refute and debate what the extreme bible thumpers try to use it to justify their silly and wrong headed actions. 90% of the so called Christians on this site wouldn’t pass a test for real Christianity. They are mostly hypocrites who only use the cover of their so called Christianity so they can spout foul and distasteful things and play tough w/ their guns. Would Jesus own a gun to be used to shoot another human under any conditions? I don’t think so…

      • http://naver samurai

No he would not own a gun to shoot someone, but he did tell his disciples to purchase swords to defend themselves. Self defense is a right of everyone. If you were raised going to church, which is great, why do you sound the way you do now? Don’t you remember things like: “Do not judge.” “Do not bear false witness against thy neighbor.” “Love thy neibor as thyself.” Do you really remember these things and practice them or do you only talk about them after someone has verbally spanked you? By the way you post, it sure doesn’t sound like it at all. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

samurai – I think Jesus would say to denniso something like, “Oh you hypocrite”. Or how about, “Before you point out the speck in your neighbor’s eye, get the beam out of your own eye”.

At least we admit we have faults and shortcomings. Libs like denniso just sit on their high horse and pass judgements…but only on Christians.

      • denniso

You guys don’t get it? You are the ones who make public claims of following and loving Jesus. I Don’t make those claims and certainly not publicly. If you claim to follow a man of peace and love, yet you condemn and judge and malign and threaten, then you are hypocritical. It’s that simple. You have the responsibility to act like followers of Jesus if you want to make the claim that you are Christian. Or, you’re faking your Christianity, which is what many of you actually do. Act like bullies, wave guns and threats of revolution and violence around, yet make a false claim on Jesus.

      • http://naver samurai

I agree Kate8. Here he/she said they were raised in the church and read the Bible. These are good things, but this person just doesn’t practice them too often. Like you said, especially with Christians. This person is just another atheist.

Sook Young tells me that atheists have significantly more lifetime suicide attempts, more relatives that commit suicide, are younger, less often married, ;ess often have children, and less contact with family members. Athiests perceive fewer reasons for living, are more impulsive, aggressive, and more likely to abuse substances. This is according to the psychiatrists that she works for at the hospital. Don’t many of these describe duhnniso and other libs and wackos that come to this site?

Keep up the good fight, fellow patriot! FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • denniso

Yep, you don’t respond to the points I made about your warped Christianity…why don’t you try to stick to the point? How do you feel you follow and emulate Jesus? Hate? Vitriol?Anger?Violence?

And Jesus never told his followers to buy swords!

      • http://naver samurai

No need to reply to a person that is nothing more than a hate monger of anything Christian. How can you be this way and not hate our founding? We were founded on Christian principles and were founded a Christian nation. Get over it and go away. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

Marty, I’m with you! It seems that no one is really understanding that the radical left & radical right are heading us right into a dictatorship & will have the U.N. in control of the New World Order! I believe it’s a given that it will happen in 2012! The radical Islamists will help bring down America & many other countries also & some have already proclaimed that Islam & their laws will supercede ours~then we will be in a 3rd world kind of country. Just my thoughts & beliefs. I certainly hope that it never happens here, but it’s been in the works for decades by the Bilderberg Group & the U.N. The U.N. is just the pennical for taking over the U.S. & throw our military in prisons around the world for war crimes. That’s what the International Criminal Court is for … the demise of the U.S.

    • Al Sieber

I’ll second that, lets tax the rich libs and communists like George Soros.

      • http://deleted Claire

Don’t forget to tax the Koch Brothers. I think the “backers” of both parties are in it for themselves. I will repeat myself–these “backers” are the people that want to “rule” America and all Americans. The politicians and the elected politicians are merely following orders.

      • Donald

        Right On!

      • PJMcK1954

It’s true that probably most, if not all, of the “backers” of both the Conservatives and the Liberals are in it for themselves.
It just seems that the Conservatives are getting attacked more thatn the Liberals.
I would love to see the Liberals get, at the very least, their fair share of demonization.
After all, the Liberals have ruined this nation.

      • Side Winder

        Wow…
        Liberals have ruined this nation?

Playing party politics is not only Old School, outdated and obsolete, it only serves to play into the hands of the major political parties that use a Divide and Conquer strategy against the general public.

I think it would be more accurate to say that BOTH parties have ruined this nation, as BOTH parties serve corporate interests, and not your interests.

I predicted over a year ago, that if the grassroots movement known as the Tea Party were to join with the Republican Party, if the Tea Party were to get into bed with those corporate whores, the Republicans, that would be the end of the Tea Party.

I was told by a poster on this site, that the Tea Party is taking over the Republican party.

Well, we can see how that went for them can’t we? They were totally co opted.

My advise concerning the Occupy Wall Street bunch….just let them do their thing. They have not been co opted yet. They may be disorganized, they may be targeting the wrong institution, but I am seeing some signs that at least some of them are starting to get it with their End the Fed signs.

        And JC further down….
many of you people cannot see the forest through the trees.
You keep blaming liberals for all our problems…thats as bad as liberals blaming conservatives for all our problems.

The problem is that BOTH parties are bought and paid for by corporate America. More people than ever before are beginning to realize this. When is the light bulb going to go on?

I just cannot believe the ignorance by some posters on this site.

To claim the liberals are solely responsible for ruining this country is to willfully turn a blind eye to all the abuses that have occurred under the Republicans. What kind of damage has the Patriot Act done to our Bill of Rights? Thank you George Bush….
Using Executive Order, Bush raised the Executive Branch to a level that was above the law.

You also turn a blind eye to the fact that Bush era financial regulators turned a blind eye to all the corruption in the lending industry, despite FBI warnings of rampant corruption. No one saw fit to regulate the Credit Default Swap game…and as a result, we also see how that turned out.

Are you happy with our current economic situation?
You are totally kidding yourself if you think this was a result of Obama taking office.

        Jokers….

      • Kate8

sidewinder – Yes, both parties have played a part in the ruin of this nation.

However, it was the Democrat party that was first infiltrated by communists back in the 60s, with their promise that they would not have to use military force to conquer us, but would do it from within. They would take over, first, the Democrat party (which they did), and then infiltrate the Right (which they have).

They would also infiltrate every institution, which they have.

      • http://naver samurai

Right On Kate8. Keep up the good fight, fellow patriot! FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

P.S. Maybe we need another Joe McCarthy to come to Washington.

      • Kate8

samurai – Yes, the much demonized (by the Left) McCarthy. Back then it was TREASON to be a communist in America. If it weren’t for McCarthy, the communist takeover back then might have succeeded.

Today, we have no one who will stand up against the communists, except for, perhaps, Ron Paul. I’m sure there are several reasons for this, including fear of being demonized like McCarthy was (clever of the commies to have set this up), and fear for their careers and lives.

After years of propaganda and indoctrination, we now have a young population who has listened to the communist lies, and has not learned the truth about what really happens under this type of tyranny. All they see is the promise of having what they want without having to work for it…but we know that this, too, is a big lie. Of course, they will be told that we must first rid society of those who are too old, too disabled, and who disagree. And, of course, how they must confiscate all land and property.

      • http://naver samurai

You are very right Kate8, fellow patriot. Just look at how our college campuses and public schools are today. Also, if you mention anything about religion, Christianity, or our Christian founding, they try to argue about our country having religious freedom (Which I do agree with), but freedom of religion is a God given right. Never to be taken away from the people ecept by God himself. Communism and socialism are very much against religion and tend to make meetings, praying, worship services, etc., illegal and sometimes punishable by death or imprisonment (Like they are doing to ministers in China and the Middle East.). They also preach this false belief of equality and freedom of choice nonsense. Though freedom of choice is written in the Constitution, they believe in a different definition of what that actually means. It actually is the doctrine of free will and the freedom to choose. Which means, “Do you believe in God and serve him yes or no?” They have this insane idea that people can do what they want, no matter what. Well, this is a lie. We have laws, moral, and ethics that dictate how we should do things in public and at home.

Today, in the name of “equality” and “political correctness” the basic liberty to love and worship God – the God of the Holy Bible – is being undermined. A vocal minority has undertaken a mission to rewrite history and force all Americans to live in a society without the God of our forefathers and without the freedoms that they acknowledged and declared God granted us.

      • http://naver samurai

Wrong again Karolyn. I never said my faith or religion is the only one, but what I’ve said is true and cannot be disproven? I gave the sources I use, but I don’t know if it passed moderation.

I also have many factual books at my disposal.

I purposely kept out some of the “.”, so as not to face moderation. I think you get the gist. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

P.S. Yes I have heard about finding tribes/people that live in the Amazon Rainforest. There are also missionaries that trek into these areas.

      • Kate8

Karolyn – The very essence of faith is that one believes the truth of that in which he places that faith. If you believe that other beliefs are no better nor worse than yours, then that, I submit, is not really faith.

That being said, because one believes their faith is true, that doesn’t mean you still can’t accept that others believe differently, and respect their right to their own faith.

What it boils down to is that we all have the right to believe whatever we believe, and respect that others are accountable for their own beliefs, true or untrue.

      • http://naver samurai

      • F86

No one in the t-party wants anything to do with the U.S. Constitution.

      • dwright77

Reply to F86…..Who do you believe does ascribe to the constitution and in what way?

      • F86

Good question. Since it is a document that outlines the limits of power that the government has over the citizenry, it is obvious that few of our politicans, including the t-party caucus, subscribe to the letter or spirit of the U.S. Constitution. It is also obvious that some of our uber wealthy citizens feel they can buy their way around it. For those that can’t it is alternately withheld from them or used as a weapon against them. A shame, because they have also contributed their blood to keep this nation and it’s constitution strong

Honest Question – when you refer to the U.S. Constitution – you mean the current one – including all the fraudulent changes that were not based on the informed consent of the governed? Both the 14th & 15th so-called ‘amendments’ were coerced upon the south in a state of martial law (one that actually continues to this day via ‘executive orders’ – it is more or less insideous than overt – but is getting more obvious lately) Both the 16th & 17th ‘amendments’ were asserted as ratified by those that knew that they were not- Bill Benson has been harassed for documenting his case having examined the halls of records for each state that was in the union at the time with a huge 10,000 pages or so of court certified documents.

Again, I do wish to actively evade the caustic demeanor of those that are so sure of the knowledge they feign that they cannot handle a contrarian view – and I do hope that what I have said above is in a respectful tone.

Have you examined the ORIGINAL 13th amendment that forbade foreign titles of nobility – such as ‘esquire’? [common among members of the British Accreditation Registry - which is called the BAR assn]

Even Ron Paul does not address this much more straightforward idea called REPUDIATION which does NOT require another constitutional amendment – merely a lawful recognition that if the ‘amendment’ was not properly ratified – it should be discarded as the pretext that it was all along.

We need to reinstate the ORGANIC Constitution which will require a transition to return to those that had property that was stolen under the color of law – not ‘wealth redistribution’ that takes from the upper middle class and expands the size and scope of government yet again. How to do this? Excellent question – but clearly step one is to have an honest discussion of the matter.

      • Side Winder

        In response to samurai,

        This site drives me nuts…

Quote”If we got back to the ways we were founded on the Constituion and our Christian founding”

Response: The USA was not founded as a Christian nation. We were founded by Christian men, under the principles of religious freedom. Religion was your own personal business, and had NO PLACE in government. Concepts of God however are not religion, therefore ok to put In God We Trust on the Money later on and so forth.
Are you getting it yet? I don’t want some Muslim becoming President someday and forcing all of us to convert to Islam. Get it? Religion has NO Place in government. Religion like morality, is personal. You cannot legislate morality any more than you can force someone to accept Jesus.
It has to come from within.
        Are we in Kindergarten here?

Next one: ““Socialism in general has a record of failure so blatant that only an intellectual could ignore or evade it.”

Response: Robert Locke of Front Page Magazine describes in his article what is American Corporatism, as Corporatism being…socialism for the bourgeois. He goes on to state that Corporatism appeals to both the left and right wing.

What does this have to do with anything? We live under a political and economic system of Corporatism. That is a fact, we do not live under classic capitalism. And this is significant, because Corporatism is also known as soft Fascism. Corporatism is a form of Fascism.

I point this out because there is very little difference between Socialism and Fascism. The only real difference being who owns industry vs who owns the government. Industry effectively “Owning” our government means that our government works for “Them” they don’t work for you.

Key point…both parties support the status quo, both parties support this Corporatist/Fascist system of political and economics we live under.

        Big success?

        Quote: “baby killing, marxists”

Response: Totalitarianism is the enemy, be it hard left, or hard right.

It may appear to you, that I defend the left wing. Those suffering from a sort of political tunnel vision often feel that way, especially when they do not see me write glowing lines of support for them.
This is how children respond, and I do expect it.

My hope is that the light bulb will go on for at least some people, and they learn to step back, and see a larger picture.
It is not the Right I attack, or the Left I defend…It is narrow mindedness that I attack.

I think the very first step for your political redemption would be to stop supporting a party, either party, that does not share your values except at election time.
When you stop thinking like that, you will begin to see things through an unbiased eye. You will begin to understand why people support either left or right ideologies. You will begin to see both the good and the bad in conservatism and liberalism. And you will begin to restructure your thinking based on the best ideas from both ideologies rather than choking down a one size fits all belief system.

Side winder, I must agree with most of everything you said, but, sorry to say, we were founded a Christian nation.

“Now historians are discovering that the Bible, perhaps even more than the Constitution, is our founding document.”

        Newsweek, December 27, 1982

“Those who are not ruled by God, will be ruled by tyrants.”

        William Penn

If we are not a Christian nation, then why is God mentioned in the Declaration of Independence? Why are Jesus and references to God mentioned in the Constitution? Being a Christian nation does not mean that everyone goes to church, but western society as a whole, counting the USA, are based on Christian teachings and the Bible. Our founders used the Bible to set up our form of government, based our laws on the 10 Commandments, and based our Constitution on it. It seems that you have studied a lot, which is good, but you have seemed to miss the bulls eye on this one. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • http://DoULoveJesus.Wordpress.com Mark Dabney

You are being insulting – and you do not get the point – both parties are run by the same plutocracy that is destroying our economy – Dennisco has a legitimate point – and you lack the humility and honesty to admit it!

The MT words of you TeoCons stand in judgment against you all per Ephesians 5:6 – I hear what you say and observe the contrast with what you TeoCons do in abject DISGUST. You TeoCons dismiss and deflect your MT words about ‘accountability’ and ‘responsibility’.

While I have not worked a W2 ‘job’ since 2007 – the callouses on my hands testify that I have not been idle – I take whatever work I can find – apply for jobs with whatever opportunities are there that I might even remotely fit – rarely do I hear back from anyone. I am among the 12%~+/- that are not counted as ‘unemployed’ because my UI benefits long ago depleted.

This nation is facing a comeuppance of one kind or another – either the criminal elite will be arrested and prosecuted for their wanton fraud – or we will face total economic meltdown. I do not know which. Will future generations look back at what you chose today in disgust [stay the course of delusion - buy into the lies as you already have] or inspiration [repent of the lies of the synagogue of Satan (Rev 2:9 & 3:9)and correct your Laodacian errors (Rev 3:14-22)? That choice is now yours! The Creator is watching – should you respond with any caustic ad homenum argument which is what I have come to expect from TeoCons – know this you were wrong before – you are wrong now.

The Tea Party started out well enough – but when Soetoro took the White House in typical reactionary error – the Tea Party became overtaken by NeoCons that hijacked it into the partisan mess that it has now disintigrated into – some are better – some are worse- God will judge each of us individually – but know this – should you persist in willful ignorance – per Ezekiel 33 YOU CANNOT SAY YOU WERE NOT WARNED – YOUR BLOOD IS ON YOUR OWN HEAD!!

I’m seeing a lot of over-privileged, sit-around-and-do nothing-at-their parent’s-expense brats who are reeling in a large group of slackers (who resemble in no small way my stepson, who quit high school when he was 14 and became an alcoholic by 15) that demand that the country (the symbol of their parents) provide them with a roof, unlimited food, and all the X-Box that they can play. Sure, our financial sector needs a spanking, but how about both sides of the political alley as well? Go shout Congress and the White House down-Wall St. can’t survive without their complicity. Them “gun-totin” tea party members, wow, I guess you’ve never been to the parts of America that I have been to, where not having a gun means you are someone else’s lunch! Your liberal mindset is stunting your growth-bad people are bad people, whether they are rich or poor, Republican or Democrat, and the sooner you open your eyes, the sooner you’ll be able to spot the bad apples without the media leading you by the piercing through your nose.

Why do right wingers seem to think that most left wingers are bums and kooks who don’t work and expect the rest of us to provide for them? Why does Fox News cherry pick the most outrageous fringe people it can find and present them as representing the main OWS group?

Here’s an interview done by Fox News at the OWS gathering that they didn’t show:

        http://www.care2.com/causes/the-occupy-wall-street-protester-youll-never-see-on-fox-news-video.html

OWS is advocating for the middle class and their main purpose is to get big money out of politics because we all know that money coruupts. Which class are you advocating for? The middle class is what made America great. Without the middle class we are just another third world country – mostly just the rich and poor.

Admittedly, there are those that are hijacking the popular discontent – or at least trying to do so – just as the “Arab Spring” was a Plutocratically manipulated occurrence. But to miss the root cause of the discontent – or ascribe it to fringe elements is missing something major. The Tea Party >>HAD<< a solid non-partisan message before it got hijacked – and there are many good people countering the NeoCon hypocrisy. I wish you were among them rather than dismissing their wisdom.

If you were saying that the Leftists are trying, with some success, to hijack this popular discontent – I would concur – however you appear to be dismissing the growing awakening that BOTH parties are corrupt – neither is going to solve anything by doing more of what got us into this mess.

Please pray about this – every time I see one of those "God Bless America" bumper stickers – I pray "God bless us with contrition – let us be heartbroken about our own sins – so that then, only then, we can as Christ commanded – go to our brother with the speck in his eye – to help him"

So long as you persist in dismissing the root cause of the popular discontent – dismiss the role of your own mistaken mentality of lumping people together – these mistakes will persist in your approach. By your fruit you will show the nature of your choice. Should you chose to persist in being caustic and simplistic – you have made the wrong choice. I say in jest – but not without a point – people like you make me want to take the beam in front of your eyes and pound you about the head & shoulders till you come to your senses. Of course the beam is figurative – and only you can lay hold of yours as only I can lay hold of mine. Point being, we must all be open to correction if we are to expect it of others.

Morality means being accountable to each other knowing that each of us will ultimately be accountable to the Creator. Moral cowardice is based on the fear of what will people here and now think if I speak out against what anyone with moral courage would know is wrong. Moral courage asks the question: when people look back generations in the future – will they look back with disgust or inspiration for the choice I made? That choice is yours – the Creator is watching.

Wrong answer duhnniso. You always have to use hate, lies, rhetoric, and innuendo in your untrue postings? Freedom to assemble, bearing arms, and peaceful protest are God given rights. You know they are even written in the Constitution. Why didn’t you mention the brave patriots that have marched on Washington demanding that Obama bin Laden do something about the economy and jobs? Oh, I know why. Is it because that grossly overweight fool Michael Moore doesn’t support or sponsor it? I think so. This is about the low level of your mentality. Those protesters in Washington come from both sides of the isle and are representing every aspect of America by having different races, both genders, different religions, Tea Party members, independents, libs, conservatives, and even those who currently have jobs or attend some university. Neeeeed to get a life and go back home, where you belong. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Void1972

        denniso
You still don’t understand that the Tea Party members are true American’s who care for the future of the American way of life, while the protesters in the city are communist union trash that only have one goal, and that is the total end of capitalization and America.
I agree that Wall Street is to blame for many of the problems we now face, but it was the democrats and the Barney Franks that condoned the behavior of these extremely corrupt bankers, while the republicans were warning of the disaster to come.
Barney and company kept up the “give to the poor”, while raping the middle class, The democratic cult wanted every minority and illegal alien to own a house, even though they knew they could never afford it, but the bankers that got them elected made trillions and paid millions to the Franks and democrats.
What a beautiful world, where you can own a home with no income, no background check and no down payment. Only in America! This was all very well planned.
Well denniso, reality set in, and we the people now have to pay the price for your communist insanity.
You blame the true American’s for your sickness, but when the Tea Party have a protest, we never cause the damage that the communist do, and you will always blame the true American for doing wrong.
The media is behind you because the media is corrupt. The democrats are behind you because the democrats are corrupt.
Everything you stand for is corrupt!
If you look at the democratic cult, you will see that is is backed by all that is wrong with America.
denniso, you and your thoughts and fellow communist are the only problem we the people have to eliminate.
The games should start next year, and I hope the American’s can come together and put an end to this insanity we have dealt with for many decades now. Liberalism is communism, there is no gray area. This is going to be a black and white war.
Thank God we had our” guns tagging along” and didnt give them to your leaders!
God Bless America, and those who fight for her!!!!

Republicans are doing their best to blame the Democrats for the economic recession we are going through, as if they had nothing to do with it. I find it ironic that the party that’s always telling people to take responsibility for what they do, never does.

It’s true that people from both sides of the aisle played some part in it but let’s not forget which party was in total charge of everything while this happened or the bills that a Republican congress sent to President Clinton that were veto proof.

Most people understand that the economic meltdown was the result of over zealous financiers who knew they were building a house of cards with subprime mortgages and derivatives but everybody was doing it and they were raking in too much money to stop. The fact is that government regulators under the Bush administration failed to do their jobs and in many cases the Dems went along.

In 1999, Phil Gramm, as chair of the Senate Banking Committee, pushed through a bill to dissolve the 1933 Glass-Steagall Act which prohibited banks, investment houses and insurance companies from combining into one corporation so that the crash of one of them would not bring down the other two. During congress’s Christmas break of 2000 he snuck a short provision into an 11,000-page appropriations bill that “derivatives” were not to be regulated or even monitored by the government. Many Democrats including Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and financial advisers Robert Rubin and Lawrence Summers went along and benefitted.

On April 28, 2004, then SEC chairman Bill Donaldson presided over a little noticed SEC meeting in which the Big Five investment banks were granted exemption from a requirement that they keep a sizable amount of money on hand to cover potential loses thus allowing the banks to put more money into derivatives and to let the banks monitor the level of risk they were putting on investors and, ultimately, taxpayers.

In 2005 President Bush chose Chris Cox to succeed Bill Donaldson as SEC chair. Cox weakened the ability of the enforcement staff to investigate securities violations by Wall Street firms, much less prosecute them and eliminated an office that had been set up specifically to watch out for future problems with high risk investments.

Fed chairman Alan Greenspan fought through four presidencies to prevent even the meekest oversight by the Fed or any other agency. So the bubble kept expanding.

In Bush’s bailing out of the banks, Secretary of the Treasury, Henry Paulson, saw to it that his Wall Street buddies, the same people who caused the crash, received taxpayer funds to bail them out without taxpayer input as to how the money would be spent.

And let’s not forget that The Republicans repealed Clinton’s 1997 Balanced Budget Act in 2001 so the GOP could could enact the George W. Bush tax cuts. The debt increased $5.2 trillion under Bush, at 8.5 percent a year.

In 1993, President Clinton signed the Deficit Reduction Act without a single GOP vote. The debt increased only 3.9% per year and in fical 2000 there was a $237 billion surplus.

Oh, and Ronald Reagan increased the debt an average of 14.4 percent per year for eight years. He and President George H.W. Bush quadrupled the debt. Bush recognized the problem and increased taxes leading to the prosperity of the 1990s

I have sent a letter demanding the evidence that Bin Laden carried out 9/11 to my congress criminal – I will call him Congressman TYPICAL as his name is irrelevant – that letter was lawfully delivered on 6 April 2011 – to date there has been ZERO disclosure of evidence – that letter is available by e-mailing markanabaptist [at] ATT [dot] net

We were promised clear convincing proof of UBL’s culpability right after 9/11 – not one shred of actual evidence has YET to be produced – merely TRIAL BY MEDIA.

“If tyranny & oppression ever come to this land – it will come in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy” James Madison Would you call me a ‘liberal’ because I believe in liberty? Or are you among those that realize that slapping a misleading label on something is not an intellectually honest way of deflecting a legitimate concern.

I have examined massive amounts of evidence about 9/11 – I have yet to see anything that bears the weight of scrutiny that the official, government sponsored media approved conspiracy theory.

Given that UBL was merely a patsy – yes, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice et al should all be put on trial for TREASON. If found guilty they should hand publicaly in keeping with the 4 times repeated words in Duetoronomy “When the people see this [capital punishment] they will not to do such things [TREASON in this case]”

I would not want to cheat these traitors of due process – and show the world and God Himself that America has finally come to its senses.

      • Kate8

Mark – Trying to read your posts is like reading something from two centuries ago. Is this an affectation of superior intellect?

Nevertheless, my point to be made here is that it will do little good to put Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld et al on trial for 9/ll (and more) when they are merely puppets. It’s like going after a street drug dealer and ignoring the cabal.

The ones who need to be brought down are the world elite bankers and the MIC. The ones who really contol everything: build economies and collapse them, destroy governments, plan wars, and use the media to control the mass mindset…

We are standing on the brink of a world in which few would want to live, if the bankers get their way. They envision a world where the common man is enslaved to them, with no freedom at all. Total control. And the plans they have to get us there are horrifying.

It’s blatantly obvious that the protests going on now have been planned for a long time, and Soros has his fingerprints all over them. Yet so many just don’t see it, and think they are really of the people. People are so easily led and deceived.

      • http://naver samurai

Then we should put Obama bin Laden and others on trial for treason also. It must go both ways. FOR GOD AND COUNTRY!

      • Al Sieber

I know exactly what you’re talking about Kate.

      • Kate8

Al – They’ve been telling us for a long time that “civil unrest” was coming to America. This has been engineered all the way. The plan, at least in part, was to organize protests, and then be “forced” to bring in the military to quell the “riots”. This will require new precedent, new laws, and loss of freedoms.

The elites use us as pawns, and we bite on every trigger. It’s disheartening to see just how clueless we are. They tell us what’s coming, and we carry it out too a tee.

This pretty much spells it out as I see it:

        http://dprogram.net/2011/10/07/civil-unrest-military-force-fema-camps-next/
This pretty much tells it as I see it.
