Mystery Safe Discovered In Former Casino
STATELINE, Nev., Aug. 26 (UPI) — The owners of a former casino in Nevada said they are trying to open a mystery safe discovered by crews demolishing the building.
The family of the current owner, attorney Mike Laub, said crews discovered the large safe hidden behind sheetrock while demolishing the former Bill’s Lake Tahoe Casino in Stateline, Nev., KTXL-TV, Sacramento, reported Thursday.
Laub, who has owned the property since January 2010, and his family said they do now know which of the former property owners the safe belonged to. They said they are bringing in a blowtorch to attempt to open the safe and determine the contents.
