Approval Rating For Obama Hits All-Time Low
August 16, 2011 by Personal Liberty News Desk
After beginning his Presidency with approval ratings that were through the roof, President Barack Obama has seen the numbers drop to levels below 40 percent, according to Fox News.
The President received a 39 percent approval rating in the latest Gallup Poll, with 54 percent disapproval from the American public. This slide comes as the Administration is facing its toughest challenges concerning the economy and an increase in Republican attacks due to the coming election, reported the news source.
“We’ve still got a long way to go to get to where we need to be,” the President said in a press conference this weekend. “We didn’t get into this mess overnight, and it’s going to take time to get out of it.”
President Obama is set to try and reverse his low numbers, as he is embarking on a bus trip across the Midwest in an effort to rally his followers and counter the gains made in the area following the Republican gathering in the region, Fox News reported.
The President previously enjoyed an approval rating of 47 percent at the beginning of this calendar year, reported ABC.
