HOUSTON, Aug. 11 (UPI) — Two young Houston men face capital murder charges for allegedly killing a military captain from the United Arab Emirates during a robbery.
Detone Lewayne Price, 18, was arrested Wednesday at his home, the Houston Chronicle reported. Police were searching for Corey Trevon Perry.
Salem Al Mazrouei, 28, was staying in a Houston apartment rented by his family while his father was being treated at the MD Anderson Cancer Center. The father said two men forced their way into the apartment Sunday night, shot his son and took off in his car.
Mike Miller, a police homicide detective, said the car was abandoned and investigators found Perry’s and Price’s fingerprints on it. The victim’s father also allegedly identified Perry as the man who shot his son.
